Psalm Chapter 28 – Chronological

Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

Because they regard not the works of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.

Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.

  1. “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭28:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    Hallelujah!!!!!!

In times of trouble, fear, doubt, and pain. Lord you have been my help and strength. I thank you Lord for being a shield unto me. All of my days have been held in your hands.

“For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; In the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock. And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, In His tent I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD. Hear, O LORD, when I cry aloud; Be gracious and compassionate to me and answer me. When You said, “Seek My face [in prayer, require My presence as your greatest need],” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I will seek [on the authority of Your word].””
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27:5-8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

  2. “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭28:7-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬
No matter how big you get, no matter how you go in your job, or on your athletics team. Always and don’t forget to give God the glory and thank him for strength without him you’d still be nobody. You can’t ever forget where you came from folks. You have to stay humble.

  3. 8 The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

The Lord’s my strength; He si my shield on Him my heart relies. So I am helped, my heart exults, to Him my thanks arrive. For all His chosen people too, The source of strength is He.

  4. 4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

Something we can always count on is that we will always reap what we sow, and so will others. I’ve thought about that on multiple occasions whenever I knew someone was doing me wrong or was trying to . And while it is tempting to ask God to speed up the process against our enemy when they’re coming against us, I think it is our duty as children of God to pray for our enemy that he be merciful on them. The world calls at karma and there’s an entire religion based upon what you put out into the universe, but it’s the biblical principle of reaping and sewing. My prayer for my enemy is that God not just be merciful but that he use his Mercy to open up their eyes and they see what they are sewing into the ground before it’s too late, bc we can always best assured that God will take care of his children when under attack

  5. 1 Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

The lord our rock, he is the foundation that I can stand upon. He is the rock of my salvation after He pulled me out of the miry clay. God is the very present help in time of trouble. He is our shield and the lifter of our heads. As the psalmist stated he cries unto the Lord his rock, and when God doesn’t answer then the psalmist states he will go down like the rest of those going to the pit.

We have to not allow sin to consume our minds and lives to where we can not have a relationship with God. We have to clean out everything that will hinder us from hearing the voice of God. To many distractions, temptations, and snares to keep us occupied when we should be focused on the Lord. We have to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. We have to find him while he is near and hears our voice. Remember the shepherd will know your voice when you place him first above everything else.

  6. 4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

Judgement will be rendered upon the wicked that have violated the commandments of the Lord. This scripture shows us that in the past as well as today, the wicked appear to have the leading edge. Nevertheless, we see that there is a crying out to the Lord to ensure a holy judgment, and the recognition of a righteous relationship with the Lord, which gives the believer strength to persevere.

    • Getting even with God

4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

When we take vengeance into our own hands we are overstepping our boundaries. Vengeance is mine sayers the Lord. This scripture gives the example of how to thwart our enemies. Who can deliver more wrath anyway, you or God ?

  7. Verses 6-9 MSG “Blessed be God—he heard me praying. He proved he’s on my side; I’ve thrown my lot in with him. Now I’m jumping for joy, and shouting and singing my thanks to him. God is all strength for his people, ample refuge for his chosen leader; Save your people and bless your heritage. Care for them; carry them like a good shepherd.” Deuteronomy 1:31 CEV says “And you know that the Lord has taken care of us the whole time we’ve been in the desert, just as you might carry one of your children.” God will protect and bring his chosen through, we must hold on and trust in Him! Let Him lead you as you LIVE-GIVE JESUS!

  8. 7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

David hasn’t heard from God and I wonder what he is thinking. Is he remembering king Saul and how God removed Himself from Saul? Is he letting himself go into the pit of despair? NO!!!! David looks back to all God has done for him and he remembered his blessings and decides to encourage himself in the Lord!!! King David has made many mistakes but in all of them he knew in his heart, he ALWAYS trusted God!!!! Sometimes when you are growing there is silence, there is loneliness, and there is a rough desert to cross; OH BUT IF YOU TRUST IN JESUS!!!!! You pass the desert even if you have to crawl through it. Difficulties will always come it is how you face them that matters; are you going to let yourself fall, or shake it off and confront them face to face until you pass. That’s why God left His word and promises so we can read them and increase our faith and trust in Him!!!! So EAT THE WORD, BE THE CHURCH, LIVE, LOVE, AND GIVE JESUS!!

  9. 1. Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

  10. “The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭28:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

How great our God is… He is our strength, we can count on Him when we feel like we can’t anymore, He becomes our strength.
With His strength nothing is impossible.

    Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

    Joshua 1:9
“Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

    Isaiah 40:29
“He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.”

  11. The Lord gives his people strength. He is a safe fortress for his anointed king. Save your people! Bless Israel, your special possession. Lead them like a shepherd, and carry them in your arms forever.
    Psalms 28:8‭-‬9 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/psa.28.8-9.NLT

My God is a safe place. A place of refuge. He carries me. That’s where I draw my strength. In the warmth of His loving embrace.

  12. 3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

What’s in your heart? It’s very clear in this chapter and throughout the Word of God that He evaluates our hearts. What’s in our hearts reveals our true nature and intentions. It’s imperative that we pray everyday and insure our hearts are right with God.

    Psalm 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

  13. Ps: 28: 3-4 [ amp] Drag me not away with the wicked, with the workers of iniquity, who speak with their neighbors, but malice and mischief are in their hearts.
[4] Repay them according to their work and according in the wickedness of their doings; repay them according to the work of their hands; render to them what they desire.
Rev . 18: 6 [ amp] Repay to her what she herself has paid [ to others] and double her doom] in accordance with what she has done. Mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixes [ for others].
Love one another and good for others.
Have a good heart and a passion for the lost.
Love the sinner and hate the sin.
    Pray and forgive one another.
    Be Jesus into their lives.

  14. Thank you Jesus Christ for today, thy kingdom come thy will be done – do what pleases God

Praise the Lord ! For he has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
    Psalms 28:6‭-‬7

  15. Psalm 28

1 Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

5 Because they regard not the works of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.

  16. “The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭28:7‬ ‭NKJV

What a privilege it is to have the Lord as my refuge, my strength and my joy. Sing unto the Lord a new song. For God is great and greatly to be praised.

  17. Psalms 28
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

    “And I Am Helped “
The heart is a vital organ to the body. Not only in the physical sense do we make reference to the heart but also the emotional sense.

An old worldly song came to my mind this morning by

How Can You Mend A Broken Heart by Al Green
Take a look at the lyrics:
I can think of younger days when living for my life
Was everything a man could want to do
I could never see tomorrow, but I was never told about the sorrow
And how can you mend a broken heart?
How can you stop the rain from falling down?
How can you stop the sun from shining?
What makes the world go round?
How can you mend a this broken man?
How can a loser ever win?
Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again.

Al Green went through a terrible tragedy in his life that turned his heart towards God for a season of time . He became a preacher and a well known Gospel singer.

Everyday I encounter someone and even myself from time to time with this question. Will my heart ever be mended ? The scripture here shows us how and exactly the true answer to sorrow that tries to destroy people emotionally, physically and spiritually.
David says the Lord is my strength and my shield.
My heart trust in Him. There it is the emotional aspect of life. My heart must trust in Him . People and situations through the course of life wounds us do deeply that we literally feel as if our hearts will break. Oh but Jesus said he was the mender of the broken the Heart fixer and the mind Deliverer!
Yes if my Jesus is my strength and the shield then my heart can rejoice. Right in the middle of this verse it says “and I am helped”! Wow . There He is There IT is . So my heart is aching so my strength seems weakened but if I trust in the Lord not just mere we it’s but a true depth of trust that means no worries easy no but look what happens “I am helped “.
So many times we just need a bit of a reminder God is our strength. God is our peace and Hod is my help!
Emotional yes . Tears yes but His Word says weeping may endure for the night but joy will come in the morning.
I choose to let Him hold my heart shield me with His strength and I will be able to sing songs of rejoicing !
I must allow Him to be my Help !
    And I am Helped!

Where does my help come from .
My help comes from the Lord .

    Psalms 28
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

  18. iLove the Kingdom
5 Because they regard not the works of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.

The Lord loves it when we boast and brag on him. Those who do not rely on the Lord, will not be built up, but they will fall when the storms of life come. We must build on the solid foundation, Christ the Rock and always give him all the Glory. I pray we would learn to walk by the Spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh. We need God working in our lives.

  19. In this chapter is was a psalm from David. He was asking a pleading for the Lord to be with him. POFW we must understand that God will never leave us. We all make mistakes but we can pray and repent to get clear of them. Nones perfect but we all are very unique in our very own ways! BE YOU POFW!! LETS GO HAVE CHURCH TONIGHT!

  20. The Lord is my strength my shelter my parent my counselor my friend my corrector my. …….the list is endless. When in doubt……where could I go but to the Lord

  21. “Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭28:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Examine my heart God. As we make room for revival, as we give you unrestricted access to our hearts, I pray every secret or hidden thing in our hearts be taken out. Create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us.

I thank God for seeing value in us, no matter what state our heart is in. I pray we seek Jesus today, submitting to His Word and praising Him throughout the day

  22. 6 Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
8 The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

Trust in the Lord and he will give you strength. Sing Praises unto him and he will Bring his anointing down. Thank you Jesus for your word.

  23. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    DESIRE = PRAYER

6 Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

The LORD is my strength. The more facts we learn about people the more we understand the Grace and Mercy of GOD. People only survive tragedy because of the mercy of GOD. In Psalms like this one, we witness the frailty of man and the deity of GOD.

The frailty of David is revealed as he cries unto the LORD. When I lift my voice in prayer, I identify my desire before the LORD. Which is key to prayer and victory in our daily lives. When we cry out unto the LORD in prayer, we identify that our TRUST is in HIM.

We become strong because JESUS is strong.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

When we are IN the LORD, living in TRUTH, loving TRUTH, living TRUTH and speaking TRUTH we identify and inherit the strength of the LORD. This reveals our desire to please GOD. When we PRAY we reveal our heart desire. The LORD is my strength and my shield, I trusted him and I am helped, so my heart rejoices and with my song will I praise HIM.

Pray that now and be BLESSED today. I am pumped about Midweek Launch tonight and Miracles service on Friday Night and Missions Conference on Sunday.

  24. “Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.”
    Psalms 28:6 KJV

Blessed be the Lord because He has heard all of our prayers. He listens to us when we pray and answers our prayer. Don’t stop praying but keep praying for our nation, for Jerusalem, for revival for the church, for the man of God, for guidance, and for us to harken the voice of the Lord.

  25. Psalm 28
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

As I awaken I began praise Jesus for this day. I do not know the adventures that this day may bring. I place my hand in his and say please lead me Lord. The psalmist states The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped. Even he new where his help came from.
Isa 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Let us press into the high calling in Christ Jesus: knowing He will not leave or forsake us.

  26. 1 Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.
3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

Our prayers matter and make a difference. However, how you pray also makes a difference. Speak out and have a conversation with Him. I have prayed several similar prays like this before, asking God to not be silent and hear me. Asking that I not be lumped into those that sin against Him and do wicked; to keep me separated and set apart. It’s a relationship not a always one way street, we must always give back to Him in return. Through sacrifice and serving in our ministries.

6 Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

When we have that relationship, pray daily and continue to talk and pray to Him, He then blesses us, he hears us, and always supplies. He is our strength, our protection, our help, our support system, and in that we can trust and rejoice in Him. For He is our song everyday and all day!!

9 Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.

  27. 1 “I pray to you, O Lord, my rock….” NLT

    Who is YOUR Rock?

Where do you find foundation, stability, or peace? Do you find it in the things that you can control, or possibly the things that bring you entertainment? Just another reason to listen to Sunday nights message; “Built on a Rock”. Matt 16:18 “upon this rock…the gates of hell will not prevail…”.

The word cannot and does not lie, if you’re feeling like your foundation is weak, or pressures are prevailing, take a step and evaluate your rock. Are you rooted in the word, rejuvenating through prayer, and finding true peace in Jesus Christ?

2 Samuel 22:2-3 “And he said, The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.”

The only rock that will stand through it all, is Jesus. All other things will fail over time, but Jesus will always remain the same.

  28. “Do not drag me away with the wicked— with those who do evil— those who speak friendly words to their neighbors while planning evil in their hearts. Give them the punishment they so richly deserve! Measure it out in proportion to their wickedness. Pay them back for all their evil deeds! Give them a taste of what they have done to others. They care nothing for what the Lord has done or for what his hands have made. So he will tear them down, and they will never be rebuilt!”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭28:3-5‬ ‭NLT‬‬
When David thought to describe the wicked, he began noting that they were false in their words, hiding the evil in their hearts. Jesus,I pray daily to renew in me a right spirit and cleanse my heart.

  29. 7 The Lord is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield;
    My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped;
    Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him.

Unwavering confidence – how many of us possess this characteristic? Our faith and trust is shaken at times, but if we have unwavering confidence that God is working for our good, on our behave, knowing what is best for us, then we must have peace as well.

  30. 28:1 Unto you oh lord will I cry oh Lord,
My rock, don’t be silent to my cry, lest if thou be silent to me
I become like them that go down to the pit.
    —-
Just because sometimes we don’t understand what the lord is doing, doesn’t mean he is not working on our behalf….
A lot of times it could just be that we are listening to the wrong voice perhaps e are feeding a wrong though…
Or sometimes if he wants he could chose to stay silent, be he will never leave us without comfort
Somehow we need to be receptive to his word …

  31. “The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.”(‭‭Psalms‬ ‭28:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

There’s nothing in this world that can provide us with strength and protection for eternity but only the one only Jesus Christ. The Lord alone is our portion and restoration and provider of our lives. ‭(Psalm‬ ‭118:14‬ ‭ESV‬) “The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.”

  32. 1 Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

We must always build upon the one rock that will always stand strong and stand with us through any storm that may come into our lives, any other thing that we may put our trust will always fail us but there is one thing that will never and it is GOD! He will never leave us nor forsake us, and we should always build upon him as our foundation.

  33. 1 Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

Pastor preached built on a/ the rock. What came to my mind is that we are built on Christ Jesus-THE ROCK. Matt 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
When we are firmly rooted and grounded in Him, he will keep us safe in times of troubles. He is our hiding place, our shelter and no matter what the weapon is, we win! I’m so thankful for the promises of God!

  34. Psalms 28:8
The lord gives his people strength. He is a safe fortress for his anointed king.

    Exodus 15:2
The lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him my father’s God, and I will exalt him!

    1 Chronicles 16:11
Search for the lord and for his strength; continually seek him.

    Philippians 4:13
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

    Psalms 18:1-2,29,35,39
    [1]I love you, lord;
        you are my strength.
    [2]The lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;
my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.
He is my shield, the power that saves me,
        and my place of safety.
    [29]In your strength I can crush an army;
with my God I can scale any wall.
[35]You have given me your shield of victory.
        Your right hand supports me;
your help has made me great.
    [39]You have armed me with strength for the battle;
you have subdued my enemies under my feet.

  35. Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

    Praise for God’s defence
Psalm 59:17 Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.

  36. Psalms 28:6-8 (The Living Bible Paraphrased)
    6) Oh, praise the Lord, for he has listened to my pleadings!
    7) He is my strength, my shield from every danger. I trusted in him, and he helped me. Joy rises in my heart until I burst out in songs of praise to him.
    8) The Lord protects his people and gives victory to his anointed king.

“Joy Rises In My Heart Until I Burst Out In Songs Of Praise To Him”
WHEN WE KNOW that the Lord has heard our Prayers (supplications and pleadings); and that the Joy of the Lord is our Strength; and that He is our Shield (our protector, defender, guard); and that when we put our Trust in Him, He will helps us; and that He gives us Victory, then JOY should arise in our hearts, and we should Burst forth with Songs of PRAISE to HIM!!

  37. 1 Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

I will cry unto the Lord.
Who am I crying out to? The government, money, family, friends or to God?
God is hear to listen and help if I will only ask.
The bible says my help cometh from the Lord so how do I get if I don’t ask? I must ask.

  38. 1 Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

Even when, we think, that, God can’t Hear the voice of our supplications, and even when, we cry unto Him, and even when we lift up our hands toward thy holy place, He is the to listen to us and even when we can’t hear Him, He is working and he’s is coming to our rescue. So keep on praying for He is on His way to help and to deliver you from what your going through.

  39. God is our strength and shield. All things are possible through our Lord Jesus Christ. He never falters and His word is always true. I thank you for this day Jesus!

  40. 6 Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. 7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

O Lord we give thanks unto you! For you have answered all our prayers even if we don’t notice, you never fail us Lord, and we thank you. I praise you Lord for you our protector, our guide, our joy and strength, you give peace unto us. Give praise and thanks unto the Lord for everything he has done for you and never stop because no matter what he is our one and only and he gave us life, and his blessings never stop.

  41. 7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

God shielded and restored David strength when he was being persecuted and was facing the king’s wrath against him. But as David cried out, God heard his cry and stepped in and rescued him. No matter the circumstances we are facing in our lives, God is our strength and shield. That is the assurance that all will be okay, for He is for us! So rejoice and sing praises to the Lord. God hears us! & He will rescue us!

  42. “Give them the punishment they so richly deserve! Measure it out in proportion to their wickedness. Pay them back for all their evil deeds! Give them a taste of what they have done to others.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭28:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Once they have ignored the voice of God the wrath of God will reign down on them. We must forgive and show them the way of God.

  43. 7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
8 The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

If we only understood the depth of strength that He is for us… The more we praise Jesus, and the more we seek Him the stronger we grow.

  44. 7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

It’s one thing to trust in our own strength or the strength of those we love and trust. It’s a whole new ballpark when we put our trust in Jesus and allow Him to be our shield and strength. Alone and with the help of others we are able to gain ground in the battle yet with Him we are victorious. He’s already win the battle so the plans to win are in Him

  45. 1 Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

How important is the voice of the Lord in your life. It really is life. One cannot really go without the word of God in their lives, without hearing from that word that is alive, without praying and hearing directly from God.

  46. “The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭28:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The lord will never leave nor forsake us. He is our protector is ready to wrap us in his loving arms we just need to allow him to. The lord loves us with all his heart no matter what we may do he will always love us. When we open our heart to him we will begin to experience the joy. All we have to do is be willing to open that door and allow him to come in. In him there is love, joy, peace, strength and all we have to do is open the door and let him in.

  47. 1I pray to you, O LORD, my rock. Do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you are silent, I might as well give up and die.

Pray daily so the Lord can hear your voice. If you don’t pray, and only pray during times of trouble, the Lord may give you the silent treatment. That’s something you don’t want to happen. But God will hear eat all times if you pray all the time.

  48. Getting even with God

  49. 7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

I will praise you Lord always in the good times and the bad ones. You are my strength and my shield each and every day.

  50. “Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭28:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

All the more of a reason to list your voice and pray to God that we should see his glory.
