Psalm 95

O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

  2. 1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

A song of praise and worship the kind that can only come straight from the heart. At the most pure praise and worship state of mind.

  3. Verse 7 CEV “The Lord is our God, and we are his people, the sheep he takes care of in his own pasture. Listen to God’s voice today!” We must stay close to our Shepherd and not wonder off into other pastures; but, rather listen for His voice and His direction. John 10:27-28 AMP says “The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand.”

  4. Psalms 95:1-3 (NLT)
    1) Come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.
    2) Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him.
    3) For the LORD is a great God, a great King above al gods.

Psalms 100:4 (NLT) tells us, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving; go into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name.”

When we come into the house of the Lord and into His presence, we should come in with a Thankful Heart, Singing Praise to Him, and Shouting Joyfully. Why? Because HE is the Rock of our Salvation, and He is a Great God and Great King!!

  5. Ps. 95 : 7 [ amp] For He is Our God and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand.
Today if you will hear His voice.
Heb 3:7-11[ amp] Therefore , as the Holy Spirit say’s : Today , if you will hear His voice.
[8] Do not harden your hearts, as ( happened) in the rebellion [ of Israel] and their provocation and embitterment [ of Me] in the day of testing in the wilderness.
God doesn’t want anyone to perish!
    God is love not hate!
Lord clean out our hearts and minds today.
Open your ears to the voice of God!
Everyone needs a Shepard to guide them!
Love thy Lord with all of your soul.
Jesus will give you rest if you will.
For he is my God .

  6. 4. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the Hills is his also.

The Hills know that our strength is His strength; without His strength in us, we are weak and vulnerable.

    Psalm 28:7
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

  7. 5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

This 🌎 has made it so it is very easy to forget whom we belong to….. With all the distractions in place all in “the right places” even if its just for a second and that’s all it takes is a second to make a mistake that can end in a physical fatality or a spiritual fatality!!! We must keep our eyes on the prize and stay focused on JESUS!!! HE IS A GREAT GOD!!!

  8. Psalm 95

1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

  9. So in Psalms Chapter 95 it’s talking about how Jesus makes a joyful noice and we come with thanksgiving so make a joyful noise upon the lord so your hand can have strength

  10. 6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

Here we see that the psalmist states that we should come and worship the Lord. We should bow down and kneel before him in the presence of his glory. For if He is our God, then we are his sheep that we may hear his voice. I find that as unimportant that I may be, if I am his sheep, he will care for me so much that he will deliver, save, and keep me in the palm of his hand. No matter what is going on in the world, if we listen for his voice, then we can find him when we need him most.

We have to tune into the voice of God while we are worshipping him for his goodness and mercy. His glory is everlasting and He will always make a way for us to be close to him. We have to make the effort to give forth the praise and worship him in sincerity and truth. From a grateful heart we offer praises. So let’s praise him more and more everyday.

  11. 1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

There is something sweet about the unity of the body of Christ coming together to worship and set in the presence of God. It is a unique feeling and there’s nothing that can compare to it. While it is important that we have our own walk and experience with Christ and worship him, but when we gather together to sing and to praise his name in unity there’s something that happens in the atmosphere that is incomparable.

  12. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus
Psa 95:6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

The lost art of kneeling. Back in the day folks would kneel when they prayed. Today, not much so. We are so busy and occupied that its really difficult to take the time to honor God. We need to repent and humble ourselves and pray.

  13. We are Gods people and the sheep of HIS pasture. God loves us, he wants us, he made us. He wants to hold us and care for us just like a child sitting on grandpa’s knee or a child sitting in mother’s lap. He wants us to talk to him, pray to him . He wants us to tell him all about our troubles! There’s no greater love than our God for his people!!

  14. 5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

He is mine and I am HIS!!!! I prefer to humble myself in His presence than to live without Jesus. All we need to do is hear His Voice!!!!! For His sheep’s know His voice!!!

  15. Come, let us sing to the Lord ! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him. For the Lord is a great God, a great King above all gods. He holds in his hands the depths of the earth and the mightiest mountains. The sea belongs to him, for he made it. His hands formed the dry land, too. Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today!
    Psalms 95:1‭-‬7 NLT

God is so good and Glorious! We praise Your Holy Name Lord! You’re a Mighty!
He is the Good Shepherd. He keeps care of us. His Voice is gentle and unlike any other. I’m so thankful for Your Hand on us. Lord.

  16. 65:8 ERV. Listen to his voice today
Don’t be stubborn s as you were
At Meribah, as you were at Messah

I tell you that the “ right time”
    Is now.
The day of salvation is 👉🏼now.

    Hallelujah 🙌.

That my heart may yield and still hear your wish-per .
    Your will be done
    Today.
    In Jesus name.🙏

  17. 6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;”
    ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  18. Psalm 95:3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

He so worthy to be praised!!!

Jeremiah 10:6,7 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O Lord; thou art great, and thy name is great in might. Who would not fear thee, O King of nations ? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms , there is none like unto thee.

    OPEN EARS AND TENDER HEART

7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Sheep are not known for their intelligence, power or creativity. Sheep are productive and for the most part meek in spirit. We understand the connection of the psalmist here. Over the years I have heard the term: “they are sheepish”. This is not said of loud, forceful and arrogant people. It is said of people who are gentle, shy or hesitant people.

As the sheep of the LORD, we are Blessed with the heart of a lion and the humility of a sheep. We follow the shepherd, we trust the shepherd, we rely on the shepherd, we honor the shepherd, we listen to the shepherd, we are fed by the shepherd.

There is great safety in listening to and receiving the voice of the shepherd for safety, provision and production. It is possible to hear and not respond, making life a challenge because of a hard or offended heart. We must trust the shepherd (LORD) even when we do not understand the LORD.

  20. 4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

He is always with us! Even in our deepest valleys he goes before us. He sets upon mountains and his strength is great in us. He’s always there. I just prayed this!

I give him glory at my lowest and at my best! There is never a time not to give him glory because he is the forerunner of everything we do everything and everything we go through.

  21. O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation, Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise into him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. Psalm 95:1>3
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. Psalm 95:6

Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Psalm 29:2 NKJV

Our Lord has given us everything we have. We praise your name and give you thanks for all you have done and all you will do for us. Thank you Lord Jesus for this day.

  22. 1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

This is the day the Lord has made, we should rejoice and be glad in it! God resides in our praise so I will praise Him all the day long!

  23. 2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

I think we can view this a lesson on worship. When worshiping the Lord we should begin with praise.

  24. Psalms 95
So come, let us worship: bow before him,
on your knees before God, who made us!
    Oh yes, he’s our God,
and we’re the people he pastures, the flock he feeds.
7-11 Drop everything and listen, listen as he speaks:

Now is the time to worship!
    Drop everything and listen.
God is calling us to keep worshiping He is calling us to set aside everything and hear His voice. Sometimes He has to slow us down so we can hear. But it’s not just hearing but it’s about truly listening.

“Hearing is simply the act of perceiving sound by the ear. If you are not hearing-impaired, hearing simply happens. Listening, however, is something you consciously choose to do. Listening requires concentration so that your brain processes meaning from words and sentences.”
That is actually what this blogging is about . Not just hearing the Word but listening to what The Word is saying .
I’ll be somewhere a listening I don’t won’t to miss the voice of God whether it is during my personal time of devotion or time of sharing with someone else or while the preached word is coming across the pulpit. God help me to drop everything and truly listen.
    Psalm 81:8
Hear, O my people, while I admonish you! O Israel, if you would but listen to me!

  25. 6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
    8 Harden not your heart…

There are many voices today trying to get the attention of God’s people, but we must intentionally listen for the voice of the Lord. And we must also be thankful that God still speaks to us today. We are not left to wander, but have safety in the messages of our Pastor and in the Bible to keep us on this path.

  26. for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today! The LORD says, “Don’t harden your hearts as Israel did at Meribah, as they did at Massah in the wilderness. (‭Psalms‬ ‭95‬:‭7-8‬ NLT)

Soften your heart. And listen to his voice. We are under the care of the GREAT Shepherd. He is merciful and full of Compassion. We must listen and believe His Word!!

I had I thought yesterday of what is more important, birth or living life? The birthing process is short in comparison to living a long life. And I thought that without the birthing process their wouldn’t be LIFE. And with that same token, the type of LIFE we live is equally important no matter the timeframe. Personally, my conclusion was that they are both important and the same can be said about being birthed into the Kingdom and living a Kingdom LIFE. As we LIVE Jesus it will encourage those around us to GIVE their LIFE to JESUS. And the process doesn’t stop there. We must teach them to LIVE and GIVE JESUS to spread LOVE, HOPE and FAITH to this hurting world and INCREASE the KINGDOM!

That is why the Holy Spirit says, “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled, when they tested me in the wilderness. There your ancestors tested and tried my patience, even though they saw my miracles for forty years. So I was angry with them, and I said, ‘Their hearts always turn away from me. They refuse to do what I tell them.’ So in my anger I took an oath: ‘They will never enter my place of rest.’” Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God. You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. (‭Hebrews‬ ‭3‬:‭7-14‬ NLT)

  27. “for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today! The Lord says, “Don’t harden your hearts as Israel did at Meribah, as they did at Massah in the wilderness. For there your ancestors tested and tried my patience, even though they saw everything I did.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭95:7-9‬ ‭NLT‬‬
We test God by our unbelief. Israel saw the work of God, yet would not trust Him at Meribah or in the wilderness in general. Israel tested God in the wilderness and we are warned not to do the same.

  28. 7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

    1 Kings 19:12
And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

Just as a sheep knows the voice of His Shepherd, we must also be attentive to hear the voice of our Pastor. God has ordained Pastor and Sis. Watts to be our shepherd and we must harken to their voice; and take instruction and correction when we need it. Thank you, Pastor for your leadership through the chaos that is all around us; for guiding us through example.

  29. 10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

Our heart is deceitfully wicked. This is why we must crucify our flesh everyday so that our heart is pure. There can be hidden things in our heart and if we do t make Jesus the Lord of our heart we may never know what is hidden. Who in g the light of His Word in e every area of our life will ensure that we are keeping our life an open book for God to survey .

  30. lm 95

We were made to praise the Lord and to give him glory for he is worthy of all praise. No matter what situation you’re in you can always praise the Lord and thank him for his goodness.

  31. 6Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker

The hardest thing to do is to bow down on your knees and pray. Yes, it is a form of saying ” I surrender to you God, I need you in my life.” But one day, everyone will bow before God. We must humble ourselves and bow/pray to God.

  32. In this chapter it had talked about entering to God with thanksgiving and praise! We must give God our all at all times!

  33. 1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. That means god will protect us every where we go and you are the rock of salvation

  34. 6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

  35. “For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭94:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Don’t you love when God talks directly to you in service!! Jesus loves us! Nothing can separate us and we see here that God will not cast us off. I thank God for His promises, for His Word being established. I pray we go and above all show love to others!

  36. “For forty years I was angry with them, and I said, ‘They are a people whose hearts turn away from me. They refuse to do what I tell them.’ So in my anger I took an oath: ‘They will never enter my place of rest.’””
    Psalms 95:10-11 NLT

We see how God is doing great things in our lives, but if we are seeking God to give us more and more. And we start to turn away because we obtained what we wanted. In that moment we will no longer see our all the promise has for us. Let’s make up in our mind we’re gonna tune in to the Lord and be obedient to His voice, to see your promises come to pass and let your kingdom come.

  37. 6 Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker, 7 for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today!
    Psalms 95:6-7 NLT

We should make it our priority to speak to spread the word of the Lord. We should reach out to those that are going in the wrong direction let us speak to crowds, even though there will be many disagreeing in the mix there will be a handful of more wanting to change their way, to go to the Lord. O Lord use us to spread your word, use us to show those lost your beautiful unfailing love for us, your compassion for us. Let us show them all your beautiful blessings.

  38. 6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

Here we see that he is addressing all those around him. Those who were with him when he wasn’t seeking God first.

We too should encourage others whom we ran with before we came to Jesus.

  39. 7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

Jesus is calling all siners come home. He is our creator, He made us sheep of his hand, if we can just hear His voice, he will hear you and help you. Forty years for Israel was a long time, today, all you have to do is repent and call him. He is waiting for you to call. Today is the day of salvation. Jesus is calling for you and for me. 🙏🙏🙏

  40. Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
    Psalms 95:8‭-‬11 KJV

There is a great reward on obedience. Likewise on the contrary there is a great loss. It may cost you more than you wanted. Dont harden your hearts and obey the voice of God. You may say I cannot hear the voice of God, but you can surely read the commands, statues and precepts. Obey them all for they are they voice of God. I’m pretty sure that the more you read/hear the Word of God you will tune your spiritual ears to hear the voice of God.

  41. 2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

God our creator, the One who designed us in and out. All we see is created by Him, the beauty of His creation is marvelous. So let us sing praises and magnify Him. Don’t let a rock take your place! Praise Him!

  42. 4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

God is everywhere. There is no place we can go to hide from God. If you allow him, he can take you further than you’ve ever gone. He is the way when there seems to be no way. He knows how to open doors they seem like they can’t be opened. There is no God like our God.

  43. Psalm 95
1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods

Not any buddies Lord. but our Lord: and my Lord, God ,and King.
    He inhabits our praises.

  44. The proof

9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

I have many testimonies of how God was proven in my life. I like to think about those that were good and brought me blessings but there are some proofs in my life that were not so good and God let me see how incredibly awesome he is through my mistakes. God has proven and I am humbled.

  45. 8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

    1 Corinthians 10:9
Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

David say Israel tempted God in the desert and Paul lets the Corinthians how we should not tempt Christ like the people of Israel did!

The apostles regularly interchanged Christ and shod because they understood that Jesus was the Old Testament God manifested in the flesh.

  46. “O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭95:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬
This is such an easy posture whatever you already know Jesus is the Lord of lords and the king of kings but if we could share revelation with someone today on the oneness of Christ our king and share the gospel we could share the posture of getting his attention I wonder how many testimonies we would receive After sharing this revelation with new believers in new converts and people that are yet to be converted and born again I wonder how many healing testimonies miracle testimonies blind eye testimonies deaf ear testimonies and lame walking men testimonies we would hear if we just shared this posture with the world

  47. 7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

We are literally his sheep in a pasture as we need to just listen to his voice.

  48. 7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

We should be like the sheep in the pastures that know the sound of their shepherd’s voice and we should always harken to it whenever we hear the shepherd calling us, for the shepherd will always lead and protect his children from the wickedness of this world but we must be willing to follow where he leads us.
