Psalm 112

Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.

His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

  1. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
    Matthew 6:33 KJV

Wished I could have just copied and pasted today’s chapter but to sum it up! I went with this👆. When God is the head of your life and you allow him to be, whole heartedly. All these things will become come part of your character they’ll become your way of life. Joy, giving, strength, discernment, compassion, blessings, and the list goes on and on! You live in abundance of these things when you make God first!

  2. 1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

Prosperity to those who fear the Lord.

  3. “He will not fear bad news; His heart is steadfast, trusting [confidently relying on and believing] in the LORD.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭112:7‬ ‭AMP

Hallelujah!!!! It’s all I can do. My trust is in the LORD. Knowing that He will keep me from harm. And when I don’t know what to say, in my silence you shall speak unto me. Hallelujah!

“But you, GOD, shield me on all sides; You ground my feet, you lift my head high; With all my might I shout up to GOD, His answers thunder from the holy mountain.”

  4. 7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.

8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

When we make up our minds to serve the Lord with everything that is within us, then the passion that we have in our worship and our praise to the king of kings and the lord of lords. We will find that our actions will receive a reaction on God’s part. We will find that all the problems and adversity will be taken care of by God. We will see that our God will be bigger than anything else in this world. When we seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, then our needs will be met because he will supply all that I need.

When we get past the fear and doubt, and we serve with our whole heart, God will prove that he will take care of them that love Him. We shall be blessed beyond our imagination. That is why I choose to serve the Lord.

  5. Hay abundancia en el senor JESUS, cuando tu confias en el todo te es a bien por que el cuida de ti no hay nada ni nadie que pueda contra nosotros.

  6. 1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

There are so many things that can be said of a man that fears God, not man. A man that fears the Lord is beyond anything that can be explained because his reverence is towards the Lord’s direction in his life and everything he does is blessed. The special anointing to his children is flowed upon because of his love and obedience to the word of God. I really like this Psalm because it talks about the righteous man and how he stands out among all the wicked and how God gives him favor in everything that he does

  7. 1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

Since the generation of the upright shall be blessed, then the opposite must be true as well and the generation of the unrighteous shall be cursed. We can’t afford to lose a generation!
Lord help us as we try to raise our children uprightly, fearing You and delighting in Your commandments.

  8. Praise The Lord! ( Hallelujah !) Blessed ( happy , fortunate, to be envied) is the man who fears
( reverse and worships) the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments.
Deaut. 10:12 [ amp] And now , Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you but [ reverently] to fear the Lord your God, [ that is] to walk in all his ways, and to love Him. And to serve the Lord your God with all your [ mind and] heart and with your entire being.
God give us Ten Commandments to follow , If we want God’s favor , Simply obey and be submissive to his word.
For my house will be a house of prayer and worship!
    Live Jesus!

  9. 4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

It’s time to some brighter than ever before and lead this world to Jesus! Be Jesus today and show grace, show compassion, and be an example of His righteousness!

  10. 7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.

My prayer for the ones just starting their walk with Jesus.
Today i plead the blood over you and your family, I plead the blood over your home and every situation. You are filled with the holy ghost you HAVE dominion and power over every wicked thing of this world and nothing can stop you from worshipping Jesus. Fill the atmosphere with his name declaring the victory by his blood shed on calvary. I speak a holy boldness over you all in Jesus name!

  11. Light arises in the darkness for the upright; He is gracious and compassionate and righteous (upright—in right standing with God). It is well with the man who is gracious and lends; He conducts his affairs with justice. He will never be shaken; The righteous will be remembered forever. He will not fear bad news; His heart is steadfast, trusting [confidently relying on and believing] in the Lord .
    Psalms 112:4‭-‬7 AMP

What a blessing it is to walk in the ways of the Lord. A good life comes to those who walk upright, trusting in Him.

  12. Psalms 112
My heart is fixed my mind is made up.
We cannot ever allow anything to turn us away from loving and serving God. We’ve come to far to turn back now . There are people who have left this world and many times we may have questions we wish we could ask them . When this happens to me I begin to hear the scriptures and the encouragement that has been passed down to me . We must instill the Word into our hearts and continue to pass it down . In Jesus name.

    Psalms 112
6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.

8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

  13. Psalm 112

1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.

8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

  14. 7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.
8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

Fix your heart and establish it on the word of God. Once you have, all your worries will disappear. God will never fail you nor leave you. Many will fall next, behind and in front of you. But you and I will be standing victorious. Because our heart and mind is established on the Lord who delivers us and gives us victory over the enemy.

  15. “Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, Who delights greatly in His commandments.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭112:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭111:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

  16. 1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

The secret to being blessed is to fear the Lord and delight in his commandments. Too many people do not fear God. There was a time when people feared God and wouldn’t do certain things because they didn’t want to experience his wrath. However, we are living a in a fearless generation with those who don’t even know God. It is up to the people of God to get his word out to the lost. If we are to fulfil the mission God has sent us on, we must be ready to tell someone else about Christ. When we follow God’s commandants, we can be blessed.

  17. 1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

    Psalm 37:4
    King James Version
4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart

Just one more of the many benefits of delighting in THE LORD

  18. 1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

When I was little there was nothing better than to see my daddy come home, I would run to his arms which will embrace me and lift me up high. There was such pleasure and pride when my mom or teacher told my daddy I behaved. The feeling as I remember it with tears in my face was incredible. That’s how I feel about my God. I can’t wait to see Him run into His embrace and have Him lift me up like my daddy used to do. Obedience and submission are two words that are hard to do, but when you do it, it is a great and valuable treasure.

  19. Psalms 112:1 (AMP)
    Praise the LORD! (Hallelujah!)
Blessed (fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God) is the man that feareth the LORD (with awe-inspired reverence and worships Him with obedience),
Who delights greatly in His commandments.

So, when we learn to fear the Lord (with awe-inspired reverence and worship Him with obedience), and learn to delight (take pleasure in) His commandments (His Word) and study it, live by it, and do it, we will be Blessed of God.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 says, “… Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”
So Fear God, Keep His Commandments, and Be Blessed!

  20. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus
7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.

The word “tiding” basically means “News”. In fact, it is defined as follows:
Tiding-Feminine passive participle of H8074; something heard, that is, an announcement: – bruit, doctrine, fame, mentioned, news, report, rumor, tidings.

According to Scripture, we are not to be afraid of the fake news. Apparently the fake evil news has been here for awhile. I remember one time I was falsely accused. All I did was invite someone to church and the next thing I knew I was blasted on social media. To be honest, I had no fear. Why…because I knew the truth. I knew it was a bold face lie that had no merit. I was not afraid of the evil tidings. Well, what if someone in the church would have believed that report? Sorry, but it doesn’t matter. Jesus was blasted on a daily occurrence on the Jerusalem Post and he didn’t care. They accused him of being a law breaker…who cares, he refused to be afraid of evil fake news.

  21. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    I AM THE LIGHT

4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

Group or community commits such as “we are” “us” and “the church” leave us much room to lax or ride along with little or no commitment. But, when we use the term “I” we are making a personal commitment.

Our minds of humility are trained to say and think the “we” and “us” approach, however when GOD is offering an opportunity for commitment such as unto “the upright ariseth light” I believe HE makes it to the personal level. JESUS said:

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

JESUS gives us the path to the LIGHT: Follow JESUS. Notice also that in this verse HE makes it a personal invitation. “I am” and “he that”. When we LIVE JESUS and support what is RIGHT we are LIGHT to this dark world. Keep being and living for JESUS and being a LIGHT to those in darkness.

  22. 6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.

This reminds me of the song verse that say no matter what the weapon is we win. So, No matter what we see happening around us, it’s our faith that he is with and for us that we lean on.

  23. “Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.” Psalm 112:4-6

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”.Matthew 6:33

I must seek out the kingdom of God and be the light through the darkness. “Seek and ye shall find.” Our Lord is so awesome. He wants us to love Him and follow His ways and not to believe in the evil ways. I will stay in church and be faithful to our Lord. Thank you Jesus for this day!

  24. “Praise the Lord! How joyful are those who fear the Lord and delight in obeying his commands. Their children will be successful everywhere; an entire generation of godly people will be blessed.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭112:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When we fear the Lord it is a delight to obey His commands. It’s not grievous or burdensome to obey. The Words says if we love Him we will keep His commandments. And our children will reap a blessing as well.

  25. I learned that all these kings where giving presents water food to the homeless all these kings believed in God they always follow God‘s word whatever he says.

  26. In this chapter it was talking about if we stand together and united the wicked can not go over or against us. Like last nights message brother Adams was saying that there will always be one angel on our side. We must not be frightened against the devil, and huis army because they have no chance against us. When we stand strong and united together we can do great and mighty things for the kingdom of God. We have to be willing and thankful to serve in his kingdom, so we know and show that we care! BE BLESSED POFW!!!

  27. 4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

God is in control when you walk through the darkness. He is a God of compassion and righteousness.

  28. 1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

This chapter is full of promises that are for the man that not only fears the Lord, but delights greatly in his commandments.

Sometimes we stop at “fear the Lord” and we forget that we also must delight in his commandments – doing things with the right attitude, with a joyful heart. Our outlook an attitude changes everything, that is why it is so important that we see things through the eyes of the Lord. He sees things that we don’t, and if we can put on His eyes and take on His heart, we will respond accordingly and reap the benefits of have a godly reference of fear for Him and delighting in keeping His commandments all the days of our lives.

  29. 112:1 praise yes the lord!!!
Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord
That relighted greatly in his commandments.

    Hallelujah 🙌
    We see this person’s character,
👉🏼 The fear of the Lord is in this person.
We see the behavior, his ways of living, his actions .the way this person proceeds with things, we also see His recompense, the blessing that bring to ones’s life because of his fear( reverence, honor, respect.and obedience .) for and to God.

I think love for God and fear of the Lord go together.
    —-
    Hallelujah 😀

  30. 10The wicked will see this and be infuriated.
    They will grind their teeth in anger;
they will slink away, their hopes thwarted.

Let the enemy be jealous and envy you for what you have. You have Jesus, let them see Jesus in you. This makes enemy angry. Let the enemy lose confidence and hope. Show them you have the victory with Jesus.

  31. 1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

To fear the Lord is to reverence Him, to honor Him and stand in awe of Him. But to fear Him is not enough, we must also love Him enough to be obedient to Him!

  32. Verse 7 AMP “He will not fear bad news; His heart is steadfast, trusting [confidently relying on and believing] in the Lord.” We can cast our burdens on Him and be confident in knowing God will strengthen us, even when others oppose us.

  33. Psalms 112:7
They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the lord to care for them.

    1 Peter 5:7
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

  34. 4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

We may feel like we are in the midst of our darkest moments when really it’s a place of transformation. Butterflies go into a cocoon before they emerge as beautiful butterflies. At first they crawled as caterpillars and now they fly as butterflies. It’s a process and one that can take growing pains. Some things have to die away so greater things can take place. The world will let us down but God never will. It may look like we are sitting in dark hopeless place but all the while He is watching after us. Those that are upright and follow God will see his marvelous light move in their lives even in the darkest moments. Their is still hope. Just because we can’t feel or see him doesn’t mean He isn’t moving.

  35. “Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭112:4-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Evil tidings are all around us, and come to us every day. Evil tidings may come to us from our family, from our health, from business, from the unfaithful, from the culture around us, or from politics. Yet the one who fears the LORD will not be afraid.

  36. 9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

Our good works do not go unnoticed. The Lord keeps a record of everything and He will reward us for helping the poor.

  37. 1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

“. . . Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, . . . “ fearing the Lord is something that shows, rather than is just said. Some may say that they fear the Lord, but their actions speak louder than their words. “. . . that delighteth greatly in his commandments.” Following His commandments, no matter how hard it can get sometimes, proves your fear towards him. It also goes a long way and you’ll be blessed. . . ,

2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

Your children for generations will be mighty. Wealth and riches will always be in your house and houses, just for simply fearing the Lord and following His commandments.

4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

How could you not?? With all the benefits, why would you turn away and do otherwise?? The list continues and goes on and on throughout the Bible just for simply following Him!!!

  38. Psalm 112:4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

Jesus sometimes we despair over the darkness of this world but in these times we choose to trust in the light that you bring into our life and into the world. Let us experience the hope and joy that comes with the dawn.

  39. Psalm 112

    4) Light dawns in the darkness for the upright; he is is gracious, merciful, and righteous.

    7) He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD.

    The Gideons

  40. 7 They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. 8 They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.
    Psalms 112:7-8 NLT

With the Lord anything and everything is possible. We must stand tall as a church with the Lord, we must share his light and strength to those in the darkness to those hurting. Let us speak the word of God in crowds let us teach them that in our lowest and darkest moments in life, we should never give in because we have a savior who will give you strength and will never stop fighting for you. With God there will always be victory and with God there will always be peace, strength, and joy. Let us give thanks unto God for all he has done for each of us, and thanks unto him for never giving up on us.

  41. “They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor.”‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭112:9NLT)

Giving should be a second hand nature to those that walk with Christ. It’s important to be examples of showing love to those that are in need. We must give willingly with a generous heart. Their is nothing better than to be about the Lords work. Those that walk with Jesus know that he helped out of love for us. When Jesus is our example then work will always reflect Jesus to someone else.

  42. 2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

His seed should be God-fearing men and strong and influential to this world. The true seed of Abraham are those who follow God in spirit and in truth and do His will.

  43. “Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭112:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Praise the Lord for He is great and greatly to be praise, and sing a new song onto the Lord for He is worth of praise. They that fear the Lord with all their heart and seek Him and keeps His commandments shall surely inherit the Kingdom of God and shall see Him.

  44. 1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

The blessings that follow those that fear Gid goes beyond one generation. A wise man teaches his children what he knows and generations to come will know Him.

  45. Psalms 112

This Chapter means that, Blessed are those Who followed The Lord and keep His Commandments and the wicked shall experience gnashing of teeth

  46. Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

Amen! When you fear the Lord you build a deeper relationship with him. When you fear Him you make up on your mind that no matter what May come your way I will worship the Lord!!! Fear is having a reverence over the one who created everything!!!!

  47. 1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

There are few people that I know that enjoy doing what they are told. This obedience is a hidden jewel. When this type of obedience is realized there is an authority that comes with it. When you deny your human reason to do the will of God you turn what makes since into foolishness and foolishness becomes reason. When you begin to love to do the will of God and obey his commandments, joy that cannot be explained comes. Real life begins when you lay yours down to serve Him.

  48. 1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

So many blessings and the way we know is by their fruit. By their fruit, we see if they truly fear The Lord. By their fruit, we shall see if they truly delight in His commandments.

While we are not to judge people, we are to judge their fruit. Their fruit tells where the person’s heart is,.

    Love Jesus. Be Jesus.

  49. 7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.

8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

He shall not be afraid. Who is this passage talking about? The righteous, the good man the man the feareth the Lord. With a heart fixed on the Lord will not fear bad news. Why? Because he has caught the revelation of who God is and who he is and their relationship. Gods perfect love casts out all fear. When you are secure in His love you know that all things work together for the good of them that love God. The revelation of Gods love is like a shield to your heart.

Picture this. When in the dark you fear the unknown. Thus the antidote to fear is revelation. Turn on the light and things get revealed. You see what caused the sound that scared you, you expose it to the light and therefore you are no longer scared. The same we should with things that come our way, expose them to the Light of Jesus. And allow him to shed revelation into your situation.

  50. 7 They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. 8 They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.
    Psalms 112:7-8 NLT

Whatever comes our way we must always remember that we serve a god that is above all. Our god can perform mighty miracles. We should not fear for we know that god is with us. We must stand strong and be bold knowing god is with us. We have no reason to fear because our god is with us and he is stronger than any storm that may come our way, we just need to put our trust in him.

“I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber.

The Lord himself watches over you! The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭121:1-3, 5-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  51. “His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭112:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I looked is the definition of established.

Established— to lean, lay, rest, support, put, uphold, lean upon
    (Qal)
to lean or lay upon, rest upon, lean against
    to support, uphold, sustain
(Niphal) to support or brace oneself
    (Piel) to sustain, refresh, revive

It makes me think of the way a foundation is made.

“This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭4:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Our heart is established when he build with a foundation of Christ.

  52. Psalm 112
1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.
9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

Persons are blessed when the Lord is feared and they find pleasure in His commandments with His heart fixed trusting in the Lord. As we have given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever.
