Psalm 114

When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;

Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.

The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.

The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.

What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?

Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?

Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

  1. 1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;

    This Psalm heralds the history of deliverance poetically. Revance for the Lord is expressed in nature as a response to the presence of the Lord. The Lord is great and nature responds to delare that the impossible is possible. The juxtaposition of the heart of man as flint, is parlayed with the mountains producing water when the tribes were n the wilderness because the faithfulness heart can be transformed. It is not what we do but what God can do in our heart, which produces the victorious life. To God be the glory and praise.

  2. 7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

    The whole earth shakes in the presence of the the Lord! When things are shook at the scale they are describing, things tend to break apart or distort. Things break loose or fall away in this case are pushed back. Imagine applying this to your life, knowing that the almighty God can shake things up a bit!

  3. 1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;

    The saga of Israel’s redemption from Egypt, her wilderness experiences , and her arrival in the land of promise of God from beginning to end. In fact ,to the Jewish mind it was the greatest demonstration of divine power that had ever take place. What a historic time that was when Israel went out of Egypt.

  4. Thank you Jesus for today , thy kingdom come thy will be done in Jesus name hallelujah . Allow him today to move your mind, heart, Soul .

    Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob. He turned the rock into a pool of water; yes, a spring of water flowed from solid rock.
    Psalms 114:7‭-‬8

  5. 1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;
    2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.

    One thing the church should never forget is the God that they serve. Not just the loving compassionate part or the god that robed himself in the flesh and died for since but this is the exact same Lord that deliver the Israelites out of egypt. The same God that destroyed the Egyptians as they pursued Israelites. The same deity that split the red Sea and the Jordan… We are living for God. And he has and will always protect us at all costs. If he is allowing something it means we are to learn from it but no matter what, the Lord Jesus, is that God.

  6. Que maravillas saber que sirvo a un DIOS de todo poder, que la Tierra tiemble solo con su presencia y los montes actuen como corderos, es la fuerza de mi senor.

  7. 7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
    8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

    The whole earth trembles at the presence of the Almighty who can make water flow from a rock.

  8. 7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
    8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

    Great and mighty is our God who does mighty miracles! Let all who witness be astounded and bow before the King of kings!

  9. 7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

    The earth trembles at the presence of the Lord. Not everyone has experienced the presence of God but when they do I can almost guarantee that they know it’s Jesus. For those that quickly deny it they’re just denying what they feel or felt because of all the pride of wanting to stand firm on their beliefs. I love seeing new people get the Holy Ghost and just buckle to the Lord of Lords. I can’t wait for the day we all see the Lord face to face. We won’t be able to do anything but bow to him.

  10. 7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

    8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

    The presence of God is so powerful it’s frightening, until you realize that all that power is on your side and ready to be used on your behalf.

    Nahum 1:
    5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

    6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

    7 The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

  11. Ps. 114 : 7-8 [ amp] Tremble O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob.
    Ps. 99 ;1 [ amp] The Lord reigns, let the people tremble [ with reverential fear] !
    He sits [ enthroned] above the cherubim, let the earth quake!
    Ps. 114 :8 [ amp] Who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a foundation of water.
    Wow ! Can you imagine yourself of being in presence of the Lord !
    What a breakthrough and great deliverance!
    Lord we all need it the Holy Ghost!

  12. This scripture was a psalm of praise that must not be forgotten. It described the greatness of God as he brought Israel out of bondage and performed miracles through Moses during the exodus. No matter the length of time the great deeds of God had to passed on so that many would not forget what was done for them. We see this was remembering the great sea being divided, the Jordan being rolled back, the Ten Commandments given, and water being given out of the rock. It doesn’t matter how many generations will come and go, they need always to remember the saving grace of God.

    That is why it is so important for us to train our children when they are young, so that when they get older they will not depart from the ways of God. We must be great examples to show them that you must trust God through it all. We must never forget what God has brought us out of and brought us through. Living Jesus should be second nature as should giving Jesus to others.

  13. Psalm 114

    1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;

    2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.

    3 The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.

    4 The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.

    5 What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?

    6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?

    7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

    8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

  14. Psalms114
    Tremble, Earth! You’re in the Lord’s presence!
    in the presence of Jacob’s God.
    He turned the rock into a pool of cool water,
    turned flint into fresh spring water.

    Oh the presence of Lord .
    No place I’d rather be than in His Love .
    Even nature takes heed Whom God Almighty is! The wind, the sea , the River of Jordon . All in awe of His grandeur Majestic power. The Children of Israel got to see God in action just as we are seeing and will see. Our Deliverer will come!

  15. Our God is a great God and greatly to be praised, admired, respected and feared! He turned a rock into standing water and a flint into water. When he was in flesh he turned water into wine. Our God can do all things. I bow to my God because he deserves it I praise because he is the king of kings and the Lord of lords!

  16. 7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

    The fear of the Lord should always be present in our lives. Is not a fear based on terror, but a fear of reverence, respect, and admiration. God should be the only presence that makes us tremble. Still, His Majesty is so great that His Glory is overwhelming!!! He is all I need and more!!! He is Jesus my God and my Savior!!!!

  17. 7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

    The whole earth trembles and all creation bows for my GOD!!! HE HAS LET HIMSELF BE KNOWN ALL THROUGHOUT !!! What is left to be done? Gather , bring them into the house of THE LORD

  18. 1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;
    7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
    8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

    Psalms 114 is just another reminder of how great and powerful God really is. Verse seven, talks of how the earth trembles at the presence of God. In verse eight, a reminder of creation and God brought a form of rock to what it is today with glowing water throughout the earth. It isn’t coincidence are per chance that it form, but yet the Almighty stepped in and said, “Let there be light.” and here we all are today. Let us praise His name and exalt Him for without Him we would not be here.

  19. 3 The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.
    4 The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.
    5 What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?
    6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?
    7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

    Got you are the creator of heaven and earth without you we are nothing and can’t do anything.

  20. 7Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord,
    at the presence of the God of Jacob.

    The mighty power of God demonstrated when the waters, wind and fire obey God. How much should we be obedient? Give God the praise and honor he deserves.

  21. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    HIS SANCTUARY

    2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.

    My PRAISE is a sanctuary for the LORD.

    Sanctuary – 1 : a consecrated place:
    2 : a place of refuge and protection

    Sanctuary – 6944. qodesh, ko´-desh; a sacred place or thing; rarely abstract, sanctity:—consecrated (thing), dedicated (thing), hallowed (thing), holiness, (x most) holy (x day, portion, thing), saint, sanctuary.

    JESUS takes sanctuary in my PRAISE to HIM. There is much supernatural activity and action when I praise the LORD. Some people view the various efforts of Praise as unnecessary, or extreme. However, I see my PRAISE to JESUS as a place for JESUS to feel loved, appreciated, respected and desired. Not that GOD needs a place of shelter or rest as we do. But, in any good relationship there is reciprocation of attention and benefits.

    While water flees, mountains skip, the earth trimbles and rocks leak water, we PRAISE the LORD.

  22. iLove the Kingdom

    Psa 114:5 What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?
    Psa 114:6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?

    When the Lord is for you, there is nothing nature can do to stop you. The laws of nature were overturned in order to get Israel into their promised land. When God is for you, you will succeed.

  23. “Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, At the presence of the God of Jacob (Israel),”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭114:7‬ ‭AMP‬

    I’m in awe of your presence in my life. LORD this scripture took me back to the day I stood in your Holy presence. My heart was shaking like a leaf. Not knowing/ understanding what I was feeling for the very first time was your unconditional love for me a sinner. I can remember that is was your hands embracing my heart. As your love removed all pain and sorrow within me, you healed and forgave.

    Jesus I’ll never forget❤️
    Your love is unconditional ❤️
    Your mercy and grace called me❤️

  24. “The [Red] Sea looked and fled; The Jordan turned back. The mountains leaped like rams, The [little] hills, like lambs. What ails you, O sea, that you flee? O Jordan, that you turn back? O mountains, that you leap like rams, O [little] hills, like lambs?”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭114:3-6‬ ‭AMP‬‬
    The Psalmist gives a beautiful and powerful picture. When these waters divided, they simply responded to the awesome presence of the Lord.

  25. 7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
    8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

    God showed Israel his power over even the natural elements of the earth. This display of his power could only build faith in their God and show them he can do anything, to show them he was the God of creation and has power over it. Of course it also builds trust that when God is for you, who can stand against! We serve the mighty God of heaven and earth.

  26. 1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;

    2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.

    Israel had just come out of years of slavery,. Judah (praise) became their sanctuary. When Judah becomes our sanctuary, regardless of what situation we are in, our outlook changes. Praise changes the atmosphere every time and allows us to see differently.

    When we face a bleak moment, make it a moment of genuine praise and watch God step into that moment.

  27. Verse 7 AMP “Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, At the presence of the God of Jacob (Israel),”. Same verse MSG “Tremble, Earth! You’re in the Lord’s presence! in the presence of Jacob’s God.” I can only imagine. I just love the description in this chapter, as it shows the awesomeness and power of my God. And that power lives in us!

  28. Psalm Chapter 114
    7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

    The Earth knows the Voice of Jesus and trembles. The earth also Knows to worship. Have we learned to Tremble at who He is. Do we give Jesus the respect and praise he requires? For if we have become complacent we are not showing disrespect to Him.

    Isaiah 55:12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

    Are we in Joy in Jesus today and have we given God praise and worship?

    Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

    Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

    Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

    Isa 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

    Isa 55:10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

    Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

    If we have not gone before Him today to worship, pray, and give thanks we have forgotten who has given us our heart beat and our your breath. It will cease as we are called to Jesus in the First judgement and resurrection and are not a part of the final judgement of those who had denied Jesus. Jesus Loves you this I know for the bible tells me so. Let not creation take our place in Worship to our Savior and King.

  29. 114: 8 which turn the rock into a standing water
    The flint into a standing of water.
    —-
    Like brother Smith says it all the time.
    “ I’m telling you, God can do anything.”
    Hallelujah, amen to that!
    Let us never ever underestimate what God is able to do.
    There’ s no questioning on his marvelous acts.
    Believe God
    Believe his word
    Believe his power
    Believe his promises.
    God is faithful and greatly to be praise.
    Hallelujah 🙌.
    Don’t get too used to what you see.
    God is about to show his miraculous ability…
    God is good.

  30. Psalms 114:7
    Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob.

    The most common Hebrew term for ‘presence’ is panim, which is also translated ‘face,’ implying a close and personal encounter with the Lord. An example of the Hebrew panim is in Genesis 3:8. In the New Testament, the Greek words prison and enopion are similar in meaning.

    1. God’s Presence Is Everywhere

    This is sometimes called God’s omnipresence. In Psalms 139:7-12, David says God already is everywhere we might go in this life and the next. The prophet Jeremiah (23:23-24) goes on to say that God fills the heavens and earth. This amazing truth is based on the fact that the Lord God created the entire universe and is so much greater than the heavens and earth. The universe is but a small drop of dew or a tiny white wildflower. God is both massive and mighty above all creation (Deuteronomy 10:17, Jeremiah 32:17) and is intimately aware of and concerned for His creation (Jeremiah 1:5, Luke 12:7).

    2. God’s Presence Fills Heaven

    He fills heaven with His infinite and eternal glory, majestic, power, dominion, holiness, and love. The angels of heaven stand in His presence with awe and worship and rejoicing. So do believers from Adam to Eve to dear loved ones who recently have gone to be with the Lord. We never pray to them, but they continue to pray to God (Revelation 5:8, 5:13, 6:9-11, 7:9-10, and 8:3-4). What’s more, God the Father loves to hear the earnest prayers of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:34, Hebrews 7:25, and 1 John 2:1) and the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:26-27).

    3. God’s Presence Also Fills the Earth

    We hear this from the Lord Himself in Numbers 14:21, from David in Psalm 8:1, from the seraphim in Isaiah 6:3, and from the Lord again in both Isaiah 11:9 and Habakkuk 2:14.

    4. God’s Presence Takes Up Residence in Every Christian

    In fact, Romans 8:9 and other Scriptures teach that if the Spirit of God isn’t in you, you’re not a Christian yet. Why wait? Find out how to become a Christian today! Christians have the promise of God’s constant presence, even when we don’t feel it (Matthew 28:20, John 14:16).

    5. God Can Reveal His Presence to Anyone in Any Manner He So Chooses

    He proved this with Moses (burning bush) and Aaron (budding staff). He proved this with Elijah in a variety of ways (1 Kings 19:9-18). He also proved this by sending an angel to the Roman centurion Cornelius (Acts 10–11). Ultimately, He proved this by sending His own Son, Jesus Christ. This truth is why there are untold tens of thousands of reports of God appearing to people all over the world today, typically in their dreams. While God commands us to proclaim the Good News Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone in every nation, God hasn’t tied His own hands. Instead, He’s winning people to Jesus Christ every day in every country on this planet. He’s making sure the wedding feast of the Lamb will be joyous beyond measure.

    6. When God Reveals His Presence to You, You’ll Know and Feel It

    When He does, imagine He is looking right at you—smiling. That’s one of the best ways to feel blessed, isn’t it? These experiences are sometimes called moments of transcendence. You usually can’t predict when God will make His presence known to you. It could be at a huge evangelistic event, citywide prayer gathering, or Christian concert. It could be while you’re walking outside, looking up at the night sky, or watching a magnificent sunrise or sunset. Then again, it could be when you’re working, doing God’s will (Romans 13:14) or spending time with dear Christian friends. “But I can’t know when it will happen” should encourage you. It should encourage you to think about God, meditate on these truths, and pay attention to what you’re feeling. Never waste moments of transcendence by praising what’s created. Instead, praise the Creator! Yes, you can experience God’s presence here and there all through your life. It’s not one-and-done. Heaven alone is proof of that!

    7 Facts About God’s Presence

    1. Adam and Eve’s son Cain was the first man to walk away from the Lord’s presence (Genesis 4:16). Compare #6 below.

    2. Isaac was the first patriarch to link the Lord’s presence and blessings (Genesis 27:7). This theme runs throughout the Law (Exodus 33:14 and 33:19 and Deuteronomy 12:7, 12:18, 14:23, 14:26, and 27:7). It also runs throughout the New Testament (Acts 2:28 and 3:19-21 and 1 Thessalonians 3:9).

    3. Moses was the first prophet to enter the Lord’s presence to speak with Him (Exodus 18:12, 33:14, and 34:34). This was a picture of divine mission, strength, and courage (Deuteronomy 31:7).

    4. Aaron was the first high priest to enter the Lord’s presence in the Tabernacle (Exodus 28:30). This also was a picture of service (Deuteronomy 18:7) and of entering God’s presence in heaven.

    5. Kings David and Solomon both linked the Lord’s presence and prayer (1 Kings 8:28, 2 Chronicles 6:19, and Psalm 139:1-18 and 139:23-24). We see this reiterated in Ephesians 3:12 and Hebrews 10:22.

    6. The Lord repeatedly equates His judgment as removal from His presence and blessing. We see this in 2 Kings 17:18-23, 23:27, 24:3, and 24:20. We also see this in Psalm 9:19 and 114:7, in Isaiah 2:10, 2:19-21 and 3:8, and in Jeremiah 5:22, 15:1 and 52:3. Jumping to the New Testament, we see this again in Matthew 25:41-46 and 2 Thessalonians 1:9.

    7. The apostle Paul linked together the Lord’s presence and His second coming in 1 Thessalonians 2:19 and 3:13 and 2 Timothy 4:1.

  31. This chapter was about how great God is. God is amazing and wonderful, and his stories are so fun to learn about and tell about. God has given us a choice and hopefully we all chose to worship him! God is worthy of it all, and much more so make sure he is receiving your prayer, worship, and praise. 32. Psalms 114:1-2
    1) WHEN Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;

    When the LORD delivered us and brought us out of the world of sin (Egypt), he also delivered us and brought us out of a people of strange language.

    So Thankful today that JESUS delivered us and brought out. No longer do we act like the world, nor do we talk like the world. He has made us new creatures in Him.

  33. “Tremble, thou earth, the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob.” Psalm 114:7

    Our LORD can part the sea, make water flow from a rock, send food from heaven. All things are possible with our LORD. I love nature and when I see the wind moving the trees, I say they are dancing to GOD. I never understood how people can see mountains, the sea, all beauty on this earth and say there is no GOD! I thank GOD for this day and thank him for all the beauty He has bestowed on this earth. Thank you for the POFW!

  34. “Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, At the presence of the God of Jacob (Israel), Who turned the rock into a pool of water, The flint into a fountain of water.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭114:7-8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

No one knows the depth of God’s power or can understand it. His vast greatness is far above our comprehension. When we yield ourselves to his will, then our will matters no more. We must not allow self to get in the way of what God wants to do. Live holy and continue to follow the path of Christ, that is how we make it to heaven.

  36. 7 Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,

    3 The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.

    This Psalm was written to remind the Children of Israel and the generations after them of their journey out of Egypt into the Promiseland. We should reflect on this and give God glory His wonderous miracles!

  38. Psalm 114

    7) tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,

    Hallelujah!!!

  39. 7 Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob. 8 He turned the rock into a pool of water; yes, a spring of water flowed from solid rock.
    Psalms 114:7-8 NLT

    See psalm 107:35

    The world must take notice and seek God

  42. “He turned the rock into a pool of water; yes, a spring of water flowed from solid rock.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭114:8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    We serve a mighty God that can do all things and there is nothing too hard for him. Jesus Christ is Lord overall and the greatness of God’s works are perfect. 8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

    Gods works are mighty and powerful. There is nothing that he cannot do. He made the blind man to see, he made the lame man walk again. He continues to do mighty miracles. Nothing is too hard for our god. All we have to do is put our trust in him and have that now faith that he can do it.

  44. 7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
    8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

    Where the the presence of the Lord is ALL tremble and praise before Him. Only His presence will do the impossible become possible. He can turn the rock a fountain of water and you will thirst no more. So come before Him and let the fountain of water flow out of you for Gods glory!

  45. 2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.

    Gods place of dwelling is in our praise and His place of dominion or power is in His people. When we walk in the will of God we live our life to expand His kingdom we are allowing him to reign in us. This in turn cancels the assignment of the enemy on our lives and give ultimate power to God.

  46. Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.

    God will walk and be with his people. A
    Sanctuary is a sacred, set apart or holy place, a place of safety or refuge. That is what you find in praise. We read in another psalm that the Lord inhabits the praises of his people. You make a dwelling place, you make a place for God when you praise Him and Israel, God prevails, his dominion.

  47. “Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob.”(Psalms‬ ‭114:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

    Everything that revolves around us today has been made and has breathe. (Psalms‬ ‭103:22‬ ‭NLT‬‬)“Praise the Lord, everything he has created, everything in all his kingdom. Let all that I am praise the Lord.”

  48. “When Israel came out of Egypt, The house of Jacob from a people of strange language, Judah became His sanctuary, And Israel His dominion.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭114:1-2‬ ‭AMP‬‬

    Let us not forget that Jesus dwells in the praises of His people. So when we praise Him throughout the day, whether that be through singing, speaking, or our actions, we know we are in the midst of the King. I thank God for being within us! I pray we always invite the presence of God in no matter how our day is going

  49. Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, At the presence of the God of Jacob (Israel),
    Psalms 114:7 AMP

    I love how the psalmist writes this psalm. That with God being with His people and them immerging from a strange land the very terrain around them responded.
    When we decide to walk in the Presence of God and in His Authority everything shifts around us. Some things will flee and some will now to the Power of God inside us.

  50. 7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

    I think it’s interesting how God is frequently known and talked of as the God of Jacob. As I thought and meditated on this God revealed a very simple thought. If someone is totally obsessed with NASCAR , some would say of them that NASCAR was their god. Or any other sport or band or whatever. This being said of Jacob so many times tells me that Jacob was always consumed with and talked about God Almighty. Everyone knew who Jacob served. What is being said of us? What/who is your God?

  51. 8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

    This was a type of Christ the Rock; who has the living water of eternal salvation. Also, an abiding fulness of grace in him; is the fountain of life for everyone who come to him. Were eternal salvation flows from. Chris is the Rock of salvation.
