Amen! His merciful kindness is great!

  2. 2. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

    Truth.
It seems like no one wants it anymore.
It has been abandoned for whatever is convenient at the time, eases the conscience, or gives the power (political or otherwise) that they are so hungry for.
While this seems to diminish Truth’s value, that is not the case. Precious metals’ values are determined by how rare they are and we all can see Truth is hard to come by these days, but Truth’s value is not determined by man’s desire of it. Truth’s value is eternal, has never wavered, couldn’t be any higher, and doesn’t go down just because so few appreciate it.
So speak and stand on the Truth; it endures after the lies have crumbled under your feet and let you down.

  3. 1 O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.

2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

One thing is for sure the mercy and grace that God shows toward us is extended beyond measure. He has shown a love toward us that no mortal human can show toward us. We can say that we love with our whole heart, but God loves beyond that. He loves beyond himself and beyond the cross where he became our redemption and paid a price we could not even fathom in our own minds. We have to show praises in all that we do, because without our love toward him we would be lost in a sinful state dying and going to hell.

We have to live Jesus as to be examples of the love that he has given to us so freely. As he is the example for us we have to be the example to Jesus to others.

  4. Psalms 117:1-2 (ESV)
    1) Praise the LORD, all nations! Extol Him, all peoples!
    2) For great is his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD!

This chapter is short, but it gives us 2 great reasons why everyone should PRAISE the LORD. We should PRAISE Him because of His Steadfast (loyal, devoted, firm, unchanging, unwavering) Love toward us and because He is always Faithful.

    Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV) says…
    22) The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end;
    23) They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

So Thank You JESUS for Your Steadfast (loyal, devoted, firm, unchanging, unwavering) Love toward me, and for Your Faithfulness.
JESUS today I will PRAISE YOU!!
    “HALLELUJAH!!”

    In very trying times with things seemingly so uncertain and no idea how they’re going to turn out, the one thing we can always rely on is that God is going to be merciful towards us and his truth will endure.     His love has taken over our lives;
    God’s faithful ways are eternal.

Some interesting findings about this chapter on the Bible .
It actually is in the very center of the Bible .
The next thing I noticed it has only 2 verses.
Yet these 2 verses gives us instruction and not only a natural provision but the eternal reward!
If we make Jesus the center of our life this is so much to be gained. The first scripture says everybody applaud God give Him praise . His love has taken over our lives . Ever fall in love? If so that individual usually takes over your life on a since . They become everything to you. This is what I believe David wanted us to know . God is in control . He is to be applauded praised and proclaimed to all people. God is faithful and cares and will care all the throughout eternity.
Jesus at the center of it all . Could this also be Live Give Jesus? 2 verses but the reflection Letting God take over our lives .

  15. Ps. 117: 1 [ amp] O Praise the Lord, all you nations!

Let everything that breath praise Lord !
Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised.
Thank you Jesus for everything you have done.
Everyday I will lift up and extol you , You are my God ! I love to worship him and I love Jesus.

  16. 1 O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.

From all that dwell below the skies, let the Creation praise arise; let the Redeemer’s name be sung Through every land, by every tongue.

    Eternal truth attends thy word;
Thy praise shall sound from shore to shore,
till suns shall rise and set no Mose.

Wow! Praise the Lord! It’s just that simple. I guess we make it complicated. If we would just praise the Lord the TRUTH would come out. We in America need a Praise Break from the news cycle! 🙂

Praising him for any and everything should be second nature for us! Praise him for waking me up this morning and for seeing me through my day to watching over me at night. I praise him because his word is true and endures forever.

  20. Definition of praise. (Entry 1 of 2) transitive verb. 1 : to express a favorable judgment of : commend. 2 : to glorify (a god or saint) especially by the attribution of perfections. intransitive verb. : to express praise.

We shouldn’t have to look very hard at our lives to find things that we can praise our Mighty God for every day. Everything we are, and ever hope to be, is because of His loving kindness toward us and His mercies that are new every morning.

  21. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS – TRUTH

2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

As we speedily approach perilous times, JESUS warned us that many will be deceived and even the very elect will be deceived. Deception is an “almost TRUTH” it looks like, sounds like and even feels like the TRUTH but it is not complete TRUTH.

To tell a lie, deceive someone or withhold TRUTH is the work of satan the devil. This is what makes lies so dangerous to christians, no matter how much you work for the church, no matter how many bible studies we teach or messages we preach, if we lie JESUS has prepared a part in the lake of fire for liars.

Revelation 21:8 … and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

TRUTH endures for ever, even eternally. This means even a lie will condemn eternally. Make choices today to LIVE a life of HONESTY and speak TRUTH in all situations, relations and circumstances. This also is PRAISE to the LORD JESUS. A lie is praise to satan.

  22. Psalm 117

PRAISE THE LORD, all the people of the world!!

For He is merciful and kind toward us: His truth lasts forever! Everyone, praise the Lord!!

    Hallelujah!!!

  23. Psalms 117:2
For his unfailing love for us is powerful; the lord’s faithfulness endures forever. Praise the lord!

God’s unconditional love.  Take Abraham.  Although the Bible calls him the father of believers and holds him up as an example of faith, the truly remarkable element running through his story is how God loved him so unconditionally.  This is seen right in the beginning of his story (Genesis 12:1-3) as God promises him tremendous blessing without once ever mentioning anything that Abraham had to do to merit those blessings.  God was going to bless him.  Period. Thank God that he loves us, not because we are always loveable, but just because he is love.  Thank God that he didn’t wait to save us until we were worthy of being saved.  Thank God that, “when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.” (Romans 5:6)  Thank God that he doesn’t treat us as we deserve, but rather loves us even though we don’t deserve it.  Thank God that he loves unconditionally!

  24. Incredibly short chapter I’m shocked. A statement the world makes if that there are multiple versions of truth. The my truth and your truth and someone else’s truth. But that it’s all truth.

This is actually false. Truth is not arbitrary it’s absolute. There can only be one truth. For us to see that everyone has their own version of truth is actually self-defeating.

Someone can say, “there is no absolute truth!”
But then they have to answer the question “ are you absolutely sure?”

The Bible is the only thing that substantiates itself!

  25. 117 oh praise the lord all ye nations.
Oh praise him all yee people.

    Hallelujah 🙌
    Praise him.
    No matter what happens.
To us, to this world, his name MUST be praised and exalted at all times. Hallelujah

    Psalm 117

1 O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

His grace and mercy endures forever!

  27. 1 O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.

There’s coming a day where us Christians won’t be the only one proclaiming the goodness and glory of the lord, I strongly believe that what’s going on in the world today is lining everything up and setting the stage for the biggest and greatest revival this world has ever seen and it’s up to us to make ourselves ready for it by praying and seeking after god each and every day.

  28. Psalm Chapter 117
1 O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

Also look at Job 5:9-11 I praise the Lord
He does great things too marvelous to understand. He performs countless miracles.
He gives rain for the earth and water for the fields.
He gives prosperity to the poor and protects those who suffer. Let us praise God for his love is forever.

The reverse is found in Job 5:12-14 He frustrates the plans of schemers so the work of their hands will not succeed.
He traps the wise in their own cleverness so their cunning schemes are thwarted.
They find it is dark in the daytime, and they grope at noon as if it were night. What they should do is seek forgiveness and ask for a behavior change.

  29. 2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

We are saved by grace is well known. However the mercy God has extended upon us my go unnoticed. The mercy of the Lord is what has allowed us to have sond mind, and many other things.

  30. 1 O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

When all else fails you just gotta praise the Lord because at least you know tomorrow the Lord will be as truthful as he was the day before.

  31. 1 O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

Thank you Jesus! All praise and honor and glory unto your name. Be exalted my Lord and my King you are awesome, amazing extravagant. Overwhelming to the extreme, wonderful and great. I praise you Jesus! I bless your name.

  32. Our God is very merciful towards us. Let’s take time to praise and thank Him for His loving kindness. Without it we would be lost in eternal damnation.

Thank you Jesus for your mercy and love.

  33. 2 For his unfailing love for us is powerful; the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever. Praise the Lord!
    Psalms 117:2 NLT

Thank you Lord for everything you do for us! Thank you for forgiveness thank you for loving us no matter what even when we mess up. No matter what you are facing, never doubt you can’t overcome it because you have the Lord right in your corner. Have faith in the Lord always and look up to him and call out his name, for he will save you with his grace and love. We are his children let us remember to stand tall with the Lord no matter what cause with him there’s victory and light.

  34. What a great reminder that we should always praise Him. Praise is not based on feelings but facts and the fact is He is kind towards us.

  35. 2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

God’s truth will forever be established. When you know the truth it will set you free. I’m thankful for the truth and the liberty it gives. We should let others know about what truth is and we can press forward even in tough times. Knowing the truth gives you the knowledge of how to access the power of God.

  36. “O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭117:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Every knee shall bow to Jesus Christ, every tongue shall confess to God, and everything that has breath shall praise the Lord. Great is the mercy of God towards us and the truth of the Lord is right and perfect. I will glorify your wonderful name Lord.

  37. Merciful Kindness

If we all got what we deserved we would already be in hell. His mercy began at every atonement that he allowed on our behalf with every sacrifice that took our place but his mercy was made while when he gave his life on the cross for us. Everyday we need his mercy and we should never take it for granted. Looking back over my life I can see how mercy saving me over and over again and I am thankful fir it. He proves his love got us everyday.

  38. 1 O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

His truth. The Word. It will last forever.

While talking with a friend the other day, I shared a few thoughts that I had about The Word, and told him a few comments that others have told me saying that scholars believe this. He got defensive saying that he wasn’t going to build a doctrine on them, worrying that I had, when I said that those were a couple thoughts I had, and had heard, but that they were not something that I could provide as hardcore truth, because the Bible didn’t come out and word things that clearly..

  39. 1 O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.

I love how the Psalmist points out “all ye nations” and “all ye people” because in the end every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that he is Lord. Evidently, “all” living humans have breath and should therefore praise the Lord. Obviously, we would not be breathing without him. He knew us while we were in our mother’s womb and before we ever took our first breath. Life is a gift from the handiwork and breath of God. Individually, we each have different testimonies but each just as powerful to uplift those going through the situations God has empowered us to overcome. He has a purpose of each of us in his kingdom. Unity is what God desires here. Jesus “.. is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Pe 3:9)

‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. (Acts 2:17)

  40. “For his unfailing love for us is powerful; the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever. Praise the Lord!”(Psalms‬ ‭117:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

It’s a wonderful experience to know that when we draw near to God he would draw near to us. The Lord’s unfailing love for his children can never be taken by the enemy. (Romans 8:38-39NLT)“. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  41. Psalm 117 PRAISE the Lord, all you nations: praise him, all you people. For his merciful kindness is great towards us : and the truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise ye the Lord.

Romans 15:11 And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.

  45. 2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

Our God love endures forever thatbis why we praise his wonderful name he is above all nations he is the all mighty his love will always be with us forever intill the end

  46. “O praise the LORD, all you nations! Praise Him, all you people! For His lovingkindness prevails over us [and we triumph and overcome through Him], And the truth of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD! (Hallelujah!)”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭117:1-2‬ ‭AMP‬‬

It’s always a good time to Praise the Lord! And there’s always a reason to Praise the Lord. I praise Him for the victory! I praise Him because I know that we maybe facing struggles now but in the end we win.

  47. Psalms 117 talks about praise. Again, we cannot praise our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ enough. Stay in the word, and I thank God for His mercy and His love for us. Thank you Jesus Christ for this day!

  48. Psalms118 talks about mercy. God is merciful. If He wasn’t we would all be in trouble. The Greek translation of mercy means “an outward manifestation of pity: it assumes need on the part of him who receives it, and the resources adequate to meet the need on the part of him that shows it.”

If we love when wronged, we show mercy. If we forgive our grievances, we exhibit mercy.

Teamed with goodness, mercy shall follow believers all the days of their lives (Psalm 23:6) Lord have mercy!
“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.” Matthew 5:7 NKJV
Thank you Jesus for this day and your mercy!

    For He is Good
    For He is Good
For His mercy endureth for ever and ever
Thy art my God and I will Praise you
For His mercy endureth for ever and ever

The Lord is my strength and my song
He has become my salvation, my salvation
I will praise you oh Lord
You have become my salvation, my salvation
For this is the day that the Lord hath made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
For His mercy endureth for ever and ever
Oh Give thanks unto the Lord
    His mercy endureth for ever

    His mercy endureth for ever
    And ever and ever

  50. 1 O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

His people will praise Him all around the nations, because we know the truth, we are no longer blinded and bind to the lies of this world. We have been free! So let us praise Him loud and proud!
