Psalm 71

In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.

Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

For thou art my hope, O Lord God: thou art my trust from my youth.

By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother’s bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.

I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.

Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.

Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.

10 For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,

11 Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.

12 O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.

13 Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.

14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.

15 My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.

16 I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.

17 O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.

18 Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.

19 Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!

20 Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

21 Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

22 I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.

23 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.

24 My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.

  1. 18 Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.

We all have our days numbered and God has a plan for our life. When we maintain a righteous relationship with the Lord, we will fulfill the Lord’s plan for our life. The Lord in long suffering with out imperfections and his mercy endures forever, thusly we can be assured that He will not forsake us in our old age because He does not change His character. We see in this Psalm at verse 21, that the Lord will always support us, even though our human nature has difficulty perceiving His work in our life.

  2. 1 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

2 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.

The the Lord is not the author of confusion, but is the way, the truth, and the life. No man can enter the kingdom of God except through him. We have a plan of salvation and a pathway that is straight but narrow. It is not easy for some to follow because of the chaos in this world but never the less it is straight. We have to decide if we are going to live for the things of this world or the things of God. Either choice if a life changing decision that we must make.

If we choose the ways of the kingdom of God, the benefits will outweigh those of the world. I am looking for the church to be bold in the last days so that we can stand fast and serve God with everything in us. We have to be a haven of rest for the weary and the worn. God will richly bless them that put first the kingdom of God. Live Give Jesus !!!!!

  3. 14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.
15 My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.
16 I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.

When you’re so excited about life and about God you can’t help but appreciate the salvation that is made available by God and tell the world the message of Hope. we are in desperate need in these days to go into the strength of the Lord but let’s go with joy, that’s rejoice in him often and tell of his wonderful works with such passion that people are drawn in

  4. My life is an example to many, because you have been my strength and protection.
    Psalms 71:7 NLT

    https://bible.com/bible/116/psa.71.7.NLT

I could tell story after story of His goodness. I could take you for a walk around my house and show you how the Lord provided time after time. I could share with you how God has moved on each of my children so they may know Him. I could speak continuously for hours and hours and not run out of testimonies of how He caused us to triumph again and again. He’s so good. His Love is overwhelming.

  5. “I am as a wonder unto many, but thou art my strong refuge.” Psalm 71:7

Refuge, a place of shelter and safety.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1

God wants us to rely upon His strength, not ours, but to exchange our weakness for His power. We can always seek our Lord when we need Him. He is always there for us. Thank you for this Thanksgiving day. You are, and always will be my rock. I love you 💖 Jesus.

  6. In the CEV this Psalm is captioned as “A Prayer for God’s Protection”. There are countless things that we don’t even realize that the Lord has protected us from throughout the years. I unfortunately didn’t always listen to the best advice growing up; but, it was the prayers of my grandparents and my parents that I know protected me from so many dangerous situations that I myself put myself in. We sometimes don’t see the harm/severity of what we deem as innocent or not so harmful situations; but, we must trust in the Lord and the authority figures He has placed in our lives for our protection. I come with a grateful heart this Thanksgiving Day for God’s protection in 2020 and always as I pray verse 3 CEV “Be my mighty rock,[a] the place where I can always run for protection. Save me by your command! You are my mighty rock and my fortress.” Thank you Jesus for loving me!

  7. Psalm 71

1 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

2 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.

3 Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

5 For thou art my hope, O Lord God: thou art my trust from my youth.

6 By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother’s bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.

7 I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.

  8. So in Psalms chapter 71 verses 1-7 it’s talking about how Jesus put my trust first and and he delivered me from righteousness and he saved me from evil and cruel men and despair and then Jesus said you have given me commandments to save my rock and my fortress then Jesus Said Deliver me from Wickedness and unrighteousness for you are my hope and my trust but then I had been taken out of the mom womb but then my praise will by thee and I am a child of god and a strong refuge

  9. This is a great day of Thanksgiving and thanks to our creator. Thank you God for all you have done and what you do and our future is with you. Our hope is within you and we should strive to do your will and follow your ways

  10. 23 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.

Those that know me well know I love singing! When I am not singing I’m humming, I got in trouble so many times as a child at school because I would start humming without me noticing it was such a habit that teachers gave me detention repeatedly until my father told them to stop because I have been like that since I could speak. I am still the same now, I believe that Praise and worship is a type of prayer and if we are supposed to pray without ceasing then that’s my way to do it. You see Jesus has done so much for me, my whole life has been one miracle after another so all I can do is PRAISE HIM!!! THANK HIM FOR HIS WONDERFUL WORKS!!! He is the ONLY one that will never leave you nor forsakes you. I heard it so many times when others will tell me that they don’t believe that because where was He when bad things happened to them. I try to explain that He was right there with them that it is us that stop communicating with Him and doubting Him in the hard times and that’s exactly what the enemy wants. I pray for everyone and I try to tell my testimony everywhere I can. I thank you Jesus for saving me and delivering me! For saving my family and I know that you will touch those that still don’t know you. Thank you Jesus for everything you have done in our lives!!! Thank you for POFW family I love everyone of them keep them secure and safe and bring our prodigals back in Jesus Name Amen

    • He was there all the time ! Thank you for keeping the faith and sharing . Be ready to sing at our next virtual Bible Study .

  11. Thou art my strong refuge.

8 Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.

18 Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.

God is my refuge . I take a journey back into the past through photos, memories and written down words of importance throughout my life. I have found that those who have been the spiritual leaders have embedded something into my heart. I have gleaned from them. I too pray that if I can make any type of imprint in someone’s life it would be God is our source of strength. He is our refuge . What does that truly mean ? Is it just a feeling some ask ? Is it a tradition passed down. I have to say it is a combination of many things. The gray hair long gone individuals from my life who instilled faith . The feelings of peace that goes beyond understanding. But truly the impact comes to a great realization That God is Our Refuge when we experience it in our own life. Experiences that God is there and He does give us hope and a place of refuge . I serve a God I know is real. Yes He is my strength. Thanksgiving goes to Him in whom I trust .

  12. “But I will hope continually, And will praise You yet more and more. My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness And Your salvation all the day, For I do not know their limits.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭71:14-15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Your praises Lord will always be on my lips. You are my rock and fortress.

  13. 1 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

When we put our trust in God there is no confusion because every Word He speaks is truth. If we ever begin to feel confusion, maybe we need to check in and see where or who we have our trust lying in. God is not the author of confusion and He is not a man that He could lie. Keep your trust in God and He will always lead you on a sure path! The Will of God is truly the safest place to be.

  14. 7My life is an example to many,
because you have been my strength and protection.

Are you an example of God? Am I? We can only hope that others see Jesus in you. Others look at at you, and say yes he/she is different. Let Jesus shine in you to others to notice.

  15. Psalm 71-5-8 For thou art my hope, O Lord God: thou art my trust from my youth. By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mothers bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee. I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge. Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.

Psalm 35:28 And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.
These verses show trust and communion with God.

I thank God today for blessing me this year with many things, I thank him for my Pastor and Sister Watts, Church family and my Family. God is so good, His Mercy and Grace endureth forever.

  16. 14. But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.

    15. My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.

We don’t know how many days we have left, but as long as we are alive, there is always hope; and the longer we live, the more we have to praise Him and be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone; be blessed in Jesus Name!

  17. 17 O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.

We are responsible for the passing down the apologetic heritage to our children and children’s children . I am so, I know I say this all the time, but was very privileged to be raised in an apostolic home and 4th generation apostolic. It is the time where it is every more important to be soul winning inside our families but all over this city.

  18. 2 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.
3 Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

This prayer to hear and save applies to us all. We can’t see what is coming but the Lord sees our ending from our beginning. He will guide and lead us and deliver us and is our strong tower to run into to be safe. Everything we need is found in him. I give thanks to the Lord and bless his name.

  19. Many gasp in alarm when they see me, but you take me in stride.”
    ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭71:7‬ ‭MSG‬‬

This made me think of how awesome God is. Jesus sees the most purest, raw version of ourselves and goes “Yes I died for you and I want you no matter what”. Meanwhile, we could put on so many masks to show the ‘best’ version of ourselves to people and they would still find some way reject us.

I thank God that He has called us each by name. I pray we never forget we were bough with a price!

  20. 71:8,13 😀🙌🎶my mouth is filled with your praise
And with your glory, all day long.🎶🎶
Let those who attract my life
    Be ashamed and consumed
Let them be covered with reproach and
    Dishonor.
    —-
Yes Lord. Like I have said it before
You are God, and your are is.
And you deserve all the praise and all the glory
We praise you because of who you are.
Also, let the praise the exaltation that comes out of my mouth, come straight from my heart and acceptable unto you.
I WILL PRAISE YOU LORD, AS LONG AS LIVE
AND IN YOUR NAME, I WILL LIFT UP MY HANDS.
    Hallelujah.
Let us seek YOU, , your kingdom, as you Lord
Take care of those that opposes us and plan wrong

    Happy Thanksgiving!

    LIVE – GIVE JESUS
HOLD ON HELP IS ON THE WAY

39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
40 And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

NEVER is a good time to “give up”.

When NEVER arrives, that will be a good time to give up.

Never – 1: not ever : at no time
2: not in any degree : not under any condition

Seeing that NEVER is a good time to give UP, I have some encouraging advice to share on this 2020 Thanksgiving Day.

    Happy Thanksgiving POFW family.
    Be blessed in JESUS today.

  25. 1 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

When adversity of life comes our way; struggles, death, loss of job, loss of home, loss of family etc, it is very easy for confusion to come to our minds and even cause us to lose hope and trust in Jesus Christ.

We must fix our eyes on Jesus and never let anything in this life destroy that foundation upon which our life has been built.

In persecution – He’s still God
In trouble – He’s still God
In birth – He’s still God
In death – He’s still God
In perilous times – He’s still God

Regardless – He’s still God and I must put my trust in Him.

Letting go of every single dream
I lay each one down at Your feet
    Every moment of my wandering
    Never changes what You see

I’ve tried to win this war I confess
My hands are weary I need Your rest
Mighty Warrior, King of the fight
No matter what I face, You’re by my side

When You don’t move the mountains I’m needing You to move
When You don’t part the waters I wish I could walk through
When You don’t give the answers as I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in You!

Truth is, You know what tomorrow brings
There’s not a day ahead You have not seen
So, in all things be my life and breath
I want what You want Lord and nothing less

When You don’t move the mountains I’m needing You to move
When You don’t part the waters I wish I could walk through
When You don’t give the answers as I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in You!

    I will trust in You!
You are my strength and comfort
    You are my steady hand
You are my firm foundation; the rock on which I stand

    Your ways are always higher
    Your plans are always good
    There’s not a place where I’ll go
    You’ve not already stood

When You don’t move the mountains I’m needing You to move
When You don’t part the waters I wish I could walk through
When You don’t give the answers as I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in You!

    I will trust in You!
    I will trust in You!
    I will trust in You!

  26. Thank you Jesus Christ for today , our father which art in heaven thy kingdom come thy will be done

O Lord , I have come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. Save me and rescue me, for you do what is right. Turn your ear to listen to me, and set me free. Be my rock of safety where I can always hide. Give the order to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. My God, rescue me from the power of the wicked, from the clutches of cruel oppressors. My life is an example to many, because you have been my strength and protection. That is why I can never stop praising you; I declare your glory all day long. And now, in my old age, don’t set me aside. Don’t abandon me when my strength is failing. O God, don’t stay away. My God, please hurry to help me. Bring disgrace and destruction on my accusers. Humiliate and shame those who want to harm me.
    Psalms 71:1‭-‬4‭, ‬7‭-‬9‭, ‬12‭-‬13

  27. Psalm 71:5,18

    5) For thou art my hope, O Lord God: Thou art my trust from my youth.

18). Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.

    Praise the Lord God!!

    Hallelujah!!

  28. 24 My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.

We need to find new matters and grounds and motive our selves to praise God in addition to all such occasion as he has given us. Praise the Lord all my soul and all that is within me….

  29. Psalm 71

I give praise to my Lord and God for allowing me to be with the living. Today this is Thanksgiving day. He has given me a day to spend with family to rejoice in his goodness great kindness breathing fresh air.

I rejoice in His name (Jesus). I thank God that he is still filling this hearth with good things and the sweet sound of life; life of a new born baby.

This day I will listen to the sounds of worship and praise. The sounds of Joy and laughter. The sounds of service as my daughter opens her First house to own and see she is remembering Jesus through the Homes décor.

My mouth shall speak of His righteousness and goodness. May His praise be continually be in my mouth.

  30. In this chapter it was talking about God delivering us! We should be thatnkful that we have a God who cares for us and loves us! Be thankful for all you have from the very little to very big!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

  31. Psalms 71:5-8
[5]O Lord, you alone are my hope.
I’ve trusted you, O  lord, from childhood.
    [6]Yes, you have been with me from birth;
from my mother’s womb you have cared for me.
No wonder I am always praising you!
[7]My life is an example to many,
because you have been my strength and protection.
    [8]That is why I can never stop praising you;
I declare your glory all day long.

Thank you Jesus. You are worthy of all praise.

  32. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus2
71:14  But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.

I am thankful this Thanksgiving that (just as the psalmist declares) God has delivered me from every attack of the enemy! Thank You Jesus

  33. 3 Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

My safe place, my place of rest, its where I can let go of everything and just be. Lord I’m thankful today for that, for you, in everything that you do!

  34. Be to me a rock of refuge, to which I may continually come; you have given the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.”(‭‭Psalm‬ ‭71:3‬ ‭ESV‬‬)

The Lord alone is our strong foundation the center of our lives. He alone is our rock that cannot be moved for he is a merciful father that is kind hearted and is always opened with arms to care.(‭Proverbs‬ ‭18:10‬ ‭ESV‬‬)“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe. The lords words bring peace and strength to those that want to help themselves for his words cannot be turn to void. (Isaiah 55:11ESV) so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.

  35. “My life is an example to many, because you have been my strength and protection. That is why I can never stop praising you; I declare your glory all day long.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭71:7-8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Our praise should never run out. No matter what we may be going though or what life throws our way we must praise him. He loves our praises. Praise is what tears down strongholds. Praise is what helps us get through when we don’t feel like going on. Praise allows us to be closer to him. Just like the scripture says we can never stop praising him! It will never get old! He inhabits the praises of his people!

  36. 21Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

God is my comfort. No matter what trouble come my way, the Lord can bring me out. By his power all things are possible. Only God can bring you peace like no other. Things in life will come against you, but with God on your side, you win.

  37. 21 Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

We are continually surrounded by the comforting hand if God. Often times we do not take notice of it because it is a staple in our lives. Then there are other times we feel it’s not there yet he is always there. He takes care of His children.

  38. 21 You will restore me to even greater honor and comfort me once again. 22 Then I will praise you with music on the harp, because you are faithful to your promises, O my God. I will sing praises to you with a lyre, O Holy One of Israel.
    Psalms 71:21-22 NLT

O Lord you are our strength, our comfort, our light and joy. There is nothing in this world you cannot do for us ever. Even in our trials we must realize that the Lord is always in our corner he will never leave our side, for he is fighting for us and bringing us to victory always. Let us give all our faith an trust unto him for he never fails us, let us sing our hearts out unto the Lord with praises for all he has done for us! All of our miracles and all of our blessings, let us realize it’s because of our one and only true God, give thanks unto him.

  39. “But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.”
    Psalms 71:14 KJV

In the good time and the trouble time, I will hope in the Lord continually for the joy of the Lord is my strength, and I will praise His holy name now and forevermore for He is worthy of the glory!

  40. “My God, free me from the grip of Wicked, from the clutch of Bad and Bully. You keep me going when times are tough— my bedrock, GOD, since my childhood. I’ve hung on you from the day of my birth, the day you took me from the cradle; I’ll never run out of praise. Many gasp in alarm when they see me, but you take me in stride.”
    ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭71:4-7‬ ‭MSG‬‬

It’s refreshing to know there are others in similar situations and put their trust in the Lord knowing he will provide and protect us. It’s soothing to know we close our eyes knowing when we wake up God will be as faithful as he was the day before.

  41. “For my enemies are whispering against me. They are plotting together to kill me. They say, “God has abandoned him. Let’s go and get him, for no one will help him now.””
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭71:10-11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The Lord is with us at all times let’s our enemies lie to them self and let his mighty will be done in us. Don’t let the lies fool us.

  42. I will tell everyone about your righteousness. All day long I will proclaim your saving power, though I am not skilled with words.
    Psalms 71:15 NLT

It doesn’t take a great scholar, or be a big preacher, or big orator or skilled speech giver. It just takes a willing vessel to say what God has done for you and what you have seen him for for other. Just takes someone willing go open their mouth and share. If you pray that the Lord leads your steps, to orchestrate a Devine Appointment to share with someone who is ready and willing to hear, that He will certainly do. Just tell the world about Jesus. Ask him to lead you to the hungry.

  43. All his life the Psalmist has experienced God’s unwavering faithfulness. This is why he is so full of praise (Ps 71:8). So why the sudden plea that God continue to be faithful, as if God needs to be reminded that the psalmist no doubt need him more as he grows frail? When we particularly feel weak and vulnerable, we naturally have moments of fear and doubt. A sudden shadow can appear on a sunny outlook of faith. This may cause us to take pause. Will everything continue to be alright? Will he keep us even when we can’t do for ourselves? The psalmist answers his own momentary fears is full of faith of faith in a righteousness, powerful and loving God (Ps 71:19-24). Not only will God continue to be his help, but also use him, throughout his final days, to declare God’s power to others. We are never to old or too young (unless physically a baby) to spread the Gospel end tell others of his goodness. This hands the baton to the next generation to run the good race.

1 Tim 4:12 “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

Isaiah 46:4 “And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.”

  44. “Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭71:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Thank you Jesus that even when. I am old and possibly stricken in years you still won’t leave me. There are many examples of people in the Bible who continued to walk with God even when their was was slow due to age. God takes good care of us. He will never leave us or forsake us. He is our forever God and friend.

  45. 3 Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

7 I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.

18 Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.

21 Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

Throughout this chapter we are reminded constantly of his strength, the steadfastness, and how he is a refuge and fortress to be there for us consistently.
3-strong habitation, my rock and my fortress
    7-my strong refuge
18-shewed thy strength, thy power . . . to come.
21-increase my greatness, and comfort me
He is a constant strength and help in our lives. We don’t even deserve it, yet he gives us so much shelter, strength, and help. This is just another example of the great love and comfort that comes in this relationship with him.

  46. Confiar en el senor JESUS es una opcion perfecta, el nos libera de las trampas de nuestro enemigos Y nos proteje del mal, por eso te alabare.

  47. 39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

All the great men of God that I know all have one thing in common, they have all seen their share of trouble. The difference between their troubles and anyone else’s, is they didn’t glorify the problem, they glorified God through their trouble. They know wher their help comes from so they call upon him. When the world is looking for help from anywhere never to find it, we look to Jesus. He is my strength, my rock, my salvation. I will praise him in my trouble.

  48. Psalm 119:1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wonder from thy commandments.
27 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondereous works.
29 Remove from me thy way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.
40 Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.
41 Let thy mercies come also unto me, O Lord, even thy salvation, according to thy word.
44 So shall I keep the law continually for ever and ever.

Righteousness: A quality or character of uprightness: an attribute of God and whatever or whoever conforms to the will of God.

God’s righteousness is only attainable through faith in Christ. Accept Christ and follow His word. Thank you Jesus for this day.
