Psalm 72

Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son.

He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.

He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.

He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.

10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.

13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.

14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

15 And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.

16 There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

17 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

18 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.

19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

20 The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.

  1. 18 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.

19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

The Psalm close with a doxology. The glorious reign of the Lord Jesus is God’s achievement. It is He who brings about these wonderful conditions, as no one else could do. And so it is fitting that His glorious name be praised forever, and that His glory fill the whole earth.

  2. Psalms 72
11 All kings will fall down and worship, and godless nations sign up to serve him, 12 Because he rescues the poor at the first sign of need, the destitute who have run out of luck. 13 He opens a place in his heart for the down-and-out, he restores the wretched of the earth.

    Philippians
10 (A)that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and (B)that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Every knee shall bow every tongue confess that He is Lord.
There is coming a day that every knee will bow .
I shutter to think that those who once knew God will also bow before Him yet will not reign with Him.
Jesus Christ has made it possible whether rich or poor
He extends His love to all . This scripture says all Kings then immediately goes to how there is a place for the down and out. It does not matter what walk if life you are in or have come from. Every j we will bow. Will it be with a willing heart . On that day every knee will bow and know that Jesus Christ is God. Why not fall at His feet now . There is always room at the cross for more. Don’t allow anything to keep you from serving Him today.
    Revelation 7:9
9 After this I looked, and behold, (A)a great multitude that no one could number, (B)from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, (C)clothed in white robes, with (D)palm branches in their hands,

  3. Verses 15-20 MSG “And live! Oh, let him live! Deck him out in Sheba gold. Offer prayers unceasing to him, bless him from morning to night. Fields of golden grain in the land, cresting the mountains in wild exuberance, Cornucopias of praise, praises springing from the city like grass from the earth. May he never be forgotten, his fame shine on like sunshine. May all godless people enter his circle of blessing and bless the One who blessed them. Blessed God, Israel’s God, the one and only wonder-working God! Blessed always his blazing glory! All earth brims with his glory. Yes and Yes and Yes.”

Psalm 103:1 AMP “Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul, And all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name.” Psalm 145:21 AMP “My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord, And all flesh will bless and gratefully praise His holy name forever and ever.” My soul says “Yes and Yes and Yes!!! We are blessed to be a blessing; but, don’t ever forget where your blessings come from as my God is a wonder-working God:

There is power, power, wonder-working power
In the blood of the Lamb
There is power, power, wonder-working power
In the precious blood of the Lamb

  4. 13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.
14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

The Lord is gracious and merciful. One of mankind’s hindrances to salvation is pride, and also the lack of need for God to intervene in their life. We all must repent before we can receive salavation, and pride must be replaced with humanity before we can take that step.

  5. 6. He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

Sometimes we are like mown grass – damaged and hemorrhaging, needing God to rain in our lives and refresh us and give us strength.

    Psalm 42:
    1. As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

    2. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?

  6. Ps. 72 : 17-18 [ amp] His name shall endure forever; His name shall continue as long as the sun [ indeed,
His name continues before the sun].
And men shall be blessed and bless themselves by Him ; all nations shall call Him blessed!
[18] Blessed be the Lord God, The God of Israel, Who alone does wondrous things!
Blessed be His Glorious name forever.
His name is Jesus, He is the creator of all ends of the earth.
The book of Psalms that David wrote is so good and refreshing to minds and our hearts.
Go and tell the world about Jesus and what he has done for you.
Jesus has come to save the world.
His the reason for the season.
    Tell the whole world!

  7. Praise the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does such wonderful things. Praise his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and amen!
    Psalms 72:18‭-‬19 NLT

We Glorify Your Holy Name! You are Great and Greatly to be Praised!! How marvelous are Your Works in all the Earth. I bless Your Holy Name!!

  8. 18 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.
19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

When you sit down and really meditate and think about how glorious God is and how wonderful he is to his people, you can’t help but want to praise his name and lift him up for how great he is. For me, it ushers in the song What A mighty God we serve.

What a mighty God we serve
What a mighty god we serve
    Angels bow before Him
    Heaven and earth adore Him
What a mighty God we serve.
1: He holds the winds in his hand
And he is the great I Am
He is the bright and morning star
And without him I would fall
    2: Jahovah Jirah, my provider
    Jahovah Shiloh my Peace
    Jahovah signanu my righteousness

  9. Thank you Jesus Christ for today, praise God he is forever faithful. Wall in his ways and you’ll be blessed , live Jesus before you give Jesus . Give love, give peace walk in righteousness, walk on holiness let your light shine everywhere you go . We are not of this world – our father which art in heaven thy kingdom come thy will be done . Stay steadfast with God he is always around and he’s everywhere

Give your love of justice to the king, O God, and righteousness to the king’s son. Help him judge your people in the right way; let the poor always be treated fairly. May the mountains yield prosperity for all, and may the hills be fruitful. Help him to defend the poor, to rescue the children of the needy, and to crush their oppressors. May they fear you as long as the sun shines, as long as the moon remains in the sky. Yes, forever! May the king’s rule be refreshing like spring rain on freshly cut grass, like the showers that water the earth. May all the godly flourish during his reign. May there be abundant prosperity until the moon is no more. May he reign from sea to sea, and from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth. Desert nomads will bow before him; his enemies will fall before him in the dust. The western kings of Tarshish and other distant lands will bring him tribute. The eastern kings of Sheba and Seba will bring him gifts. All kings will bow before him, and all nations will serve him. He will rescue the poor when they cry to him; he will help the oppressed, who have no one to defend them. He feels pity for the weak and the needy, and he will rescue them. He will redeem them from oppression and violence, for their lives are precious to him. Long live the king! May the gold of Sheba be given to him. May the people always pray for him and bless him all day long. May there be abundant grain throughout the land, flourishing even on the hilltops. May the fruit trees flourish like the trees of Lebanon, and may the people thrive like grass in a field. Praise the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does such wonderful things. Praise his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and amen!

    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭72:1-4‬ ‭CEV‬‬

I love the way Solomon prayed in the first couple of verses.
He asked for wisdom in how to serve the people of GOD. He wasn’t asking for his own selfishness. There had been times where we think prayer is about self. It isn’t. The best example that we can learn of is JESUS CHRIST. HIS love for humanity. Our mission is our city. Let us continue to LIVE•GIVE•JESUS

May there be abundant prosperity until the moon is no more.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭72:5-7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God sends such a rich blessing, His people will flourish and there will be an abundance of peace (shalom) that will last beyond comprehension until the moon is no more.

  12. 17 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.
18 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.
19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

Blessed be Your Name Jesus! We will rejoice in You today and give You all the praise!

  13. 17 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.
18 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.
19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

Hallelujah! Blessed be the name of the Lord who reigns forever.

  14. Psalm 72:18,19 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.
And blessed be his glorious name forever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen and Amen.

I Chronicles 29:10,20 Wherefore David blessed the Lord before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, Lord God of Israel our father, forever and ever.
And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the Lord your God. And all the congregation, blessed the Lord God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped the Lord, and the king.

Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

I will bless His name for ever and ever!

  15. 12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.

We as Christians should daily help those that cannot help themselves. If we will love the unloveable, God will send us the loveable.

  16. 18 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.

19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

I find that this psalm penned by David for his son Solomon is a prayer that David spoke hoping that Solomon be blessed because of his obedience to God through his reign as king. I find that David was hoping that Solomon would be a much greater king than he was. He was hoping that all that would continue to serve God in all that he did while on the throne. But David’s prayer summed it up in the last three verses, he stated that bless the name of God who only does wonderful things. With the glory of God filling the earth, it was like David having hope that Solomon could do nothing but follow the Lord.

We all have the same opportunity to serve God with all that we do. We have the same choice either serve God or serve the world. As a part of the church I pray that we all can stay faithful to God as he has stayed faithful to us. We must realize that God has never left us, it is we that have stepped from his presence at times. We have a God that lives us so much that he gave of himself to save each of us. He brought us out of the miry clay and sat us upon the rock to stay. We have the greatest opportunity in history of the church, we will see the coming of the Lord and we have to prepared to meet him. We must be prepared both physically and spiritually.

  17. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus2
1 Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son.
2 He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

This scripture should remind each and everyone of us to pray (daily) for our leaders. This includes our spiritual leaders and also our leaders who lead this country. Most Evangelistic preachers on the radio (including Baptists, Catholic, Assemblies of God, Charismatic) are very out spoken about the politics that are going on in our current situation and they encourage us to pray for our leadership. We as the Apostolic Church need to step up to the plate and pray for our leadership as well. We need to pray for the peace of this land that we might dwell in peace. Jer 29:7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.

  18. 17 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.
18 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.
19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

Blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for his righteousness endures forever. I am blessed to see another day, thank you Jesus.

18 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.
19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

One the FIRST demonstrations of our FAITH in JESUS should be how passionately and faithfully we BLESS the name of JESUS. The word BLESSED in both verses is the same Hebrew word.

BLESSED – 1288. barak, baw-rak´; a primitive root; to kneel; by implication to bless God (as an act of adoration), and (vice-versa) man (as a benefit); also (by euphemism) to curse (God or the king, as treason):—x abundantly, x altogether, x at all, blaspheme, bless, congratulate, curse, x greatly, x indeed, kneel (down), praise, salute, x still, thank.

To BLESS the LORD or Barak GOD means to humble self to promote GOD.

    Why?

    HE only doth wondrous things!

Let that verse settle in our minds. We BLESS GOD each day for HIS kindness, tender mercies and gracious ways. We BLESS GOD for the wonderful creations that HE has afforded us to enjoy. We BLESS GOD because HE is Good.

  25. I love the blog! Its so awesome to read everyone’s views and efforts to our creator. Interesting how David was somewhat disappointed with Solomon. As we learn and grow in God we learn of many fallen leaders who rise up and get back to Gods business. We must put all our efforts on keeping our eyes on the prize which is our precious Lord and savior. Live Jesus Give Jesus

  26. Psalm 72

1 Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son.

2 He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.

4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

5 They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.

  27. 12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.
13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.
14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

The battles we may face is not ours, it belongs to the Lord. In the middle of a trial we must remember this and release it to him so he can fight for us. We should never try to repay for any wrong we receive but let God repay as we praise and bless his holy name. Let the word of God be how we fight and praise be our weapon!

  28. The prayer of a father fir his son the King was one of blessing. God honored that prayer over Solomon. What prayers are we praying over our children? Are we calling those things that are not as though they were? Are we speaking life rather than death? Though the eyes see one thing God sees another.

His give us wisdom to see through His eyes and pray with His wisdom over our families.

  29. 7May all the godly flourish during his reign. May there be abundant prosperity until the moon is no more.

We all want to prosper. But we have to do our part, and be faithful in giving. Not only in monies, but in time to serve, use your talent to fulfill POFW Vision, lending a hand when needed. You’ll notice blessings coming when you least expect it.

  30. 6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

God’s blessings fall like rain each and every time we praise with every ounce of our being and more and we should never take it for granted but grab our spiritual bucket and grab as much as we get of god and his blessings, but we should also remember that it’s better to pray blessings upon other than being greedy for ourselves.

  31. “His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed. Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.” Psalm 72:17-18

We should exhibit great joy and peace in this midst of great challenges. Why? Because our Lord and Saviour blesses us yesterday, today and tomorrow. No matter what craziness is going on, we can be full of grace, and happiness with Jesus.

“As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.” Psalm 18:30

Stay with our Lord, worship Him, and love others as He loves us. God is good, ALL THE TIME! Thank you Jesus for this day.

  32. Psalms 72:18-19

  33. Psalms 72:18-19

  34. “Give your love of justice to the king, O God, and righteousness to the king’s son. Help him judge your people in the right way; let the poor always be treated fairly.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭72:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬
It is the prayer of a father for his child; a dying blessing. The best we can ask of God for our children is, that God would give them wisdom and grace.

  35. 11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

There is coming a time in which every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord. Now are we closer than ever before to this times. We need to be ready to meet out King and Savior Jesus. We need to prepare ourselves and fill our lamps with oil. For his coming is soon.

  36. “May he defend the cause of the poor of the people, give deliverance to the children of the needy, and crush the oppressor!”(Psalm‬ ‭72:4‬ ‭ESV‬)

This scripture tells us that the Lord loves to be a refuge to the poor and cares deeply about the them. The Lord is also passionate about delivering the children from there distress. ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭18:14‬ ‭NLT‬)“He shot his arrows and scattered his enemies; great bolts of lightning flashed, and they were confused.”

  37. 19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
20 The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.

When you don’t know what to pray, pray the Word

  38. In this chapter what I got out of it was that one day we will all be judged and we all have to be ready! We have to prepare for that moment with seeking in prayer and the Bible!

  39. 13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.

14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

This could be mistaken as though God only saves the less fortunate and poverty stricken people. Wickedness can dwell in the poor like the sloth the same way the ant can be prosperous and blessed.

The Psalmist is pointing out those that have status or wealth by oppressing His people to become needy. Lazarus, begged in front of a wealthy mans house. Later when the wealthy man died he ended up seeing Lazarus being ushered into heaven by Abraham. Lazarus’ blood was was precious to Jesus, so much so that he wept. Out of all the suffering Lazarus had endured he finally found peace in heaven. The wealthy man begged for water or to send a prophet to warn his family. Jesus brought Lazarus back from the dead after four days. It wasn’t because he was a begger that he made it into heaven. It was his relationship with God. Even in his weakest state he was strong in the Lord. When we humble ourselves before God he will avenge us also from our oppressors.

  40. Psalm 72

In verse 20 of King David’s last prayers. verse 17-19 is the last four verses in that Psalm. The last four Verses were prophetic His name (Jesus) shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed. So King David prays, worships, and praises Jesus. What a fitting way to say good night to Jesus at the time of sleep.

  41. 18 Praise the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does such wonderful things. 19 Praise his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and amen!
    Psalms 72:18-19 NLT

O Lord we give all the glory and all the honor unto you!, for your mercy endures forever! There is no other God like our God, let us give our all unto him, be faithful unto him always for he keeps each of his promises unto us and never fails us. Let us speak the word of the Lord, let us spread his goodness and all he’s blessings he’s given unto us and all the healings he’s brought into our light. As his children we should spread the light and joy of the Lord always and be faithful unto him no matter what.

  42. 13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.

It should be our daily prayer that the poor and needy receive what they need to live in abundance. God is calling us to not just worry about our needs but more closely see and be motivated to act on the behalf of those in need.

  43. 12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.

13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy

It said, God, shall spare the poor and the needy. It also says he shall deliver the poor and the needy when he crieth. This means God doesn’t care if your needy or poor God will always take care of you

  44. “May there be abundant grain throughout the land, flourishing even on the hilltops. May the fruit trees flourish like the trees of Lebanon, and may the people thrive like grass in a field.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭72:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We are bless to have a pastor so committed and loving to his God and church. I am bless and proud to have pastor watts as a pastor. Let pray for our leader and ask God to speak his will to his church.

  45. “Praise the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does such wonderful things.”
    Psalms 72:18 NLT

I will praise the Lord for his mercy endureth for ever and because He is good. My mouth shall continually praise the Lord, and there is no one like the Lord Jesus who can do wonderfully thing like my God. All the praise, the glory, and the honor to Jesus Christ amen! Blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  46. Psalms 72

This Chapter means that, King David was referring His Prayer to The Lord and Also Jesus When He comes to Save The World on The Cross and His Wonderous Signs and Wonders.

  47. No help

12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.

Having no help is the pits. When you almost get something done but realize you cannot finish by yourself, that is a terrible place to be in. If you can realize where your help comes from, it is easy to find help. I look to the hills from where my help comes from. Jesus is the best help you could ever get. He knows everything ! He sticks closer than a bother. There’s no help like him.

  48. “Praise his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and amen!”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭72:19‬ ‭NLT‬‬

No matter what praise his name. He is worthy and worthy to be praised. What stands out to me in this scripture is when it talks about the whole world being be filled with his glory. What came to my mind was outreach. In order for the world to be filled with his glory we have to go out and reach those who are lost and bring them into the church and show them the love of Christ so they can go out and reach others. We can’t just stay behind the walls of the church. We have to go beyond the church and show them the love of Christ though us.

  49. 18 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.

The one true God is Jesus, who is exalted King of kings and Lord of Lord’s. No other god exist in this world, but Jesus our savior.

  50. “He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭72:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Praise be to God! The one who conquered death, hell, and the grave so we could be able to gain eternal life in Him. He takes us as we are, scars and all. No matter what we’ve done we are still precious in his sight!

  51. 6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.

God will always provide for what we need, we will not let us go dry. He showers us with mercy and love. Even in this days of uncertainty and chaos, God showers us with blessings and His protection.
    Praise God!

  52. 4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

He judges the poor within a spectrum. I believe he mentions them separately because they are each judged on different degrees. He saves children that are needy and that come from the needy. “. . . and shall break in pieces the oppressor.” Also, all in the same sentence, so it applies to both statements. He will break the oppressor in pieces; the oppressor of the poor and the oppressor of the needy and needy children.

5 They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

That fear should still not stop. It has among some; however, I still see the moon and sun everyday so the fear of God will still reside in my household.

6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

Off topic, but as a kid I did wonder when people starting mowing their grass in history. It was obviously before lawn mowers were invented, because there had to be a need for them first for them to be invented. Yet the Bible gives us yet another History lesson.

7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.
8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

Mentioned once again in the Bible, “. . . dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river.” We have DOMINION over every living thing!! We have dominion.

  53. 9 They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
Today in prayer I found myself worshipping a little longer than most days. It was one thing after another, it was the simple fact of knowing if all else failed he would still be as powerful as he was the day before. I set my worries aside and cast my failures at the feet of Jesus my King. I laid down every hurt, every thought, every emotion and said Jesus today i give myself to you.

There will be a day where all that see him will bow at his feet it doesn’t matter what position they may be in or role of leadership they may be in they will bow at the feet of our Lord Jesus christ he lives forever!

  54. 12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.

13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.

Most people will shrug this off as “God will take care of it” but the reality is that God wants to use US to deliver the needy and the poor.

    Matthew 25:44 – 45
“They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'”

You want to do for God, do for the needy and poor.

  55. “His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭72:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Forever he is faithful. Forever he endures. Forever he is with us. Forever he reins in majesty for his ways are not my ways and his understandings exceed my own. God is glorious all the time!
