2 Chronicles Chapter 2 – Chronological

Week of Consecration Daily Prayer Focus – Day 4

Acts 13:1-3 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

2 Chronicles 2

And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.

And Solomon told out threescore and ten thousand men to bear burdens, and fourscore thousand to hew in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred to oversee them.

And Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, As thou didst deal with David my father, and didst send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein, even so deal with me.

Behold, I build an house to the name of the Lord my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the Lord our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.

And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.

But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.

Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know that thy servants can skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall be with thy servants,

Even to prepare me timber in abundance: for the house which I am about to build shall be wonderful great.

10 And, behold, I will give to thy servants, the hewers that cut timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.

11 Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because the Lord hath loved his people, he hath made thee king over them.

12 Huram said moreover, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who hath given to David the king a wise son, endued with prudence and understanding, that might build an house for the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.

13 And now I have sent a cunning man, endued with understanding, of Huram my father’s,

14 The son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre, skilful to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson; also to grave any manner of graving, and to find out every device which shall be put to him, with thy cunning men, and with the cunning men of my lord David thy father.

15 Now therefore the wheat, and the barley, the oil, and the wine, which my lord hath spoken of, let him send unto his servants:

16 And we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as thou shalt need: and we will bring it to thee in floats by sea to Joppa; and thou shalt carry it up to Jerusalem.

17 And Solomon numbered all the strangers that were in the land of Israel, after the numbering wherewith David his father had numbered them; and they were found an hundred and fifty thousand and three thousand and six hundred.

18 And he set threescore and ten thousand of them to be bearers of burdens, and fourscore thousand to be hewers in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred overseers to set the people a work.

Solomon The wisest man who has ever lived had to ask for help in order to make this holy project happen. Then you don’t be afraid to ask for help in what the Lord has proposed to do in your life.

  2. “And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭2:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“The wise woman builds her house [on a foundation of godly precepts, and her household thrives], But the foolish one [who lacks spiritual insight] tears it down with her own hands [by ignoring godly principles].”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭14:1‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Like Solomon, we are building our house up daily for the name of the Lord. I thank God we have an army of believers around us and around the world who are holding us accountable and fighting for us through prayer. I thank God He has equipped us with the tools to know we are victorious! I pray we strive daily to make sure or temples are renewed and restored daily to invite in a Wonderful and Great God

  3. 5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.
6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

The house of God does not contain God, but it is an honor to God. In our New Covenant, the Lord dwells within us. When we fast and pray, we are drawn closer to the Lord, inwhich it helps us to hear better and know the mind of the Lord.

  4. 1 And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.

4 Behold, I build an house to the name of the Lord my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the Lord our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.

He determined to build a house for the
Lord. Can we say we are determined every day to build a house a place to live in our hearts everyday or is it just every now and then.
Verse 4 says I build a house to burn sweet incense to offer sacrifices to the Lord. What does this mean? He was say I not only built a has for him but I send up praise and offering to the Lord.
Today let us not forget to make room for him in our lives

  5. Verses 5-6 MSG “The house I am building has to be the best, for our God is the best, far better than competing gods. But who is capable of building such a structure? Why, the skies—the entire cosmos!—can’t begin to contain him. And me, who am I to think I can build a house adequate for God—burning incense to him is about all I’m good for! I need your help:”. Solomon as wise as he was, recognized that he couldn’t do this alone; but, needed God’s divine direction. We too need God’s divine direction instead of trying to follow our own agenda. It will take unity, it will take prayer, fasting and our obedience to hear what the Lord is guiding us to do in 2021.

Revelation 2:29 AMP “He who has an ear, let him hear and heed what the Spirit says to the churches.’”

Matthew 11:15 AMP “He who has ears to hear, let him hear and heed My words.”

  6. 17 And Solomon numbered all the strangers that were in the land of Israel, after the numbering wherewith David his father had numbered them; and they were found an hundred and fifty thousand and three thousand and six hundred.

A house build by strangers!!! Nothing new!! Most of the houses even now are still build by strangers, they come from far away lands looking for the American dream, by building others dream home. We know we all read the Bible all year long and even before we blogged I always read the word. I don’t know how I missed this. I knew that Solomon had gotten the cedar provided by the King of Tyre but in my mind it was the Israelites that build the temple. Everyday we see and learn a new thing. I wonder if the strangers hearts were touch d by the Holy Ghost as they work in God’s house. I wonder if those Israelites around did outreach to them and brought them to know the True God. I wonder if they sang and talked in a foreign language as they do now as they build our homes. I learned through outreach that a stranger is only a stranger until you make them your friend. Be friendly, reach out, tell them how Good and Wonderful is our God Jesus Christ, make a friend and save a soul!!!!!

  7. ““I am sending you a master craftsman named Huram-abi, who is extremely talented. His mother is from the tribe of Dan in Israel, and his father is from Tyre. He is skillful at making things from gold, silver, bronze, and iron, and he also works with stone and wood. He can work with purple, blue, and scarlet cloth and fine linen. He is also an engraver and can follow any design given to him. He will work with your craftsmen and those appointed by my lord David, your father.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭2:13-14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Huram-abi, that’s what I call a multitasker. This man knew how to do everything that king Salomon needed. Many people are gifted with many talents in the church. I am grateful for all the hard work everyone does at our church.
This is a grate time to ask God to lead us in the ministry He wants us to be at. Lead me Lord to your will and understanding.

  8. 1 Solomon decided to build a Temple to honor the name of the Lord, and also a royal palace for himself.
Reading this chapter today i immediately go to our temple. If you have the holy ghost your are the temple of God. Cleanliness is next to Godliness, most people when they get the holy ghost they feel that feeling where they’re completely clean. When i received the holy ghost i know that how i felt. I knew nothing that i ever did or thought about doing prior to the day i received the holy ghost didn’t even matter anymore.. All i knew was i want to keep myself clean. It was like When your mom cleaned your room and said “Now keep it clean”. That was my mindset. I believe we are to honor the temple of God like we would honor the tabernacle where we go to worship. We don’t drink in the church we don’t consume things in the church, so don’t do it outside the church. You wouldn’t set up a tattoo machine in a church and get a tattoo, you wouldn’t cuss someone out in the sanctuary, you wouldn’t spray paint a church. Im not calling anyone out I’m just saying i think these are good points. Your temple is the temple of God.

As we get ourself ready for prepare it going take alot of prayer and fasting.
We can’t do nothing without Jesus in our lives.
    Jesus 20

  11. 1 And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.

We should determine everyday to accomplish the Will of God. He deserves so much, how could we not serve Him with our lives.

  12. 5. This must be a magnificent Temple because our God is greater than all other gods. NLT

    6. But who can really build him a worthy home? Not even the highest heavens can contain him! So who am I to consider building a Temple for him, except as a place to burn sacrifices to him? NLT

No man-made temple can contain our God, who fills the universe; but He is still building Himself temples today…every child that is born was designed to be filled with His Spirit.

    1 Corinthians 3:
    16. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

  13. 1 And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.

When we build our foundation on God and put him first and all things that we do, it opens up the door for God to bless us with the things that we want for ourselves. There’s nothing wrong with wanting nice things or wanting to be blessed as long as we are putting the kingdom of God first. It’s all about priority. When you put God at the top everything else falls into place as it should be. When we see first the kingdom of God, our hearts are in the right place and things are added unto us.

  14. 4 Behold, I build an house to the name of the Lord my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the Lord our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.

5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.

6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

Solomon makes reference to the task at hand, building a house for God. He states that the temple will be great as God is great. He ask a question who is able to build God a house seeing the heavens and the heavens of heavens can not contain Him. Great is the God of all Gods.

We find that even like Solomon, we can build all the buildings in this world for God to dwell in and we try to contain God inside the four walls of a structure. But the reality is that we must not place limitations on God while we assemble ourselves together. We have to release God out of the mentality that He only shows up in a building. Jesus is omnipresent, omniscient, and He is omnipotent. We can not contain the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. We have to take Him where ever we go by allowing the Holy Ghost to dwell in us and the more of him that is in us means the less of us is there. We can not serve God and mammon. We have to be a temple for the Lord to dwell in. Just because we may feel insignificant we can be as great in character as God is while seeking the kingdom of God first. Let’s live Jesus to give Jesus in this great revival of the outpouring of Gods spirit. We have to be bold and let God lead us.

  15. King Hiram sent this letter of reply to Solomon: “It is because the Lord loves his people that he has made you their king! Praise the Lord , the God of Israel, who made the heavens and the earth! He has given King David a wise son, gifted with skill and understanding, who will build a Temple for the Lord and a royal palace for himself.

Im moved to believe this can be anything deep and sacrificial you give to God and His Kingdom. This can be honor, reverence, worship…it doesn’t have to be money. We just learned last night about the Art of Giving your Worship.

  16. “And the temple which I build will be great, for our God is greater than all gods. But who is able to build Him a temple, since heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him? Who am I then, that I should build Him a temple, except to burn sacrifice before Him?”
    ‭‭II Chronicles‬ ‭2:5-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

There is only one true God. His name is Jesus. There are no boundaries or limitations to His presence. No man made structure can contain Him.

  17. Having read both Chronicles and Acts…. God is calling us and instructing us and setting up our kingdom work and we need to listen and trust in him. Pray for one another and work for the Kingdom.

6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

We are the temple of God and we must worship him in spirit and in truth. We must keep our temple holy and acceptable to God.

2Ch 2:6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

Wow, what a statement. Solomon is building this magnificent temple (that was built according to the counsel of the Lords own blueprint) and he is acknowledging this temple could not hold the King of Kings. In fact he mentions the heavens could not even hold him. This type of thinking was completely opposite of what the pagans thought. The pagans had idols and they could “impress” their gods. Solomon never thought he could impress God, only that he could serve God through sacrifices.

We are the temples of God today in the New Testament. The outer court is our body, the holy place is our mind, and the holies of holies is our heart. To truly serve God, we must have a clean pure temple filled with sacrifices.

  21. 11Chronicles

2 And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.

5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.

The name of the Lord is Jesus Christ .
While teaching a Bible Study the individual had never know the name of God. As we study they seen clearly that the name of the Father the name of the Son and the name of the Holy Ghost was Jesus. They had been baptized in Jesus name but had not realized what the name of Jesus was important . They had not realized that God’s name was Jesus Christ.
There are many right now in the state of confusion
we have a grand opportunity to lead them to the true God of this world Jesus Christ. We must be as determined as Solomon was to build up the kingdom the temple of God in honor to the God above all and any other gods that are being raised up in our midst .
There is no other God but Jesus Christ . He lives today and soon He will return and the entire world will see Him.

    Deuteronomy 6:1
“Listen, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD alone.

    Exodus 20:20
Thou shalt have no other gods before Me

    Matthew 24:5
For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many.

    Acts 4:12
And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.

  22. 6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

I find this verse very interesting. It’s like reality was trying to settle his mind of what the house was truly for. Yes the house is for God yet it is contingent on man. Man must be willing to keep the fire upon the altar and must be willing to keep the ordinances of God. After God sends the fire we keep it burning and place our sacrifice upon it He consumes it. In this manner we co labor with Him. This opens the door of blessings and the miraculous.

I want to be diligent about keeping the fire upon the alter and meticulous about bringing a worthy sacrifice to God. For the building made with hands cannot contain God. Yet my worship made from a pure, sincere, and humble heart will capture His attention and will give Him a place to rule from. He desires to make habitation in our worship.

  23. 4 Behold, I build an house to the name of the Lord my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the Lord our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.

5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.

6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

It is true that God is so big that nothing can contain Him, but Solomon built a temple as God instructed so that the people would have an Holy place to come before God to worship and commune with Him. And today, God is still the same…. We can worship and commune with Him anywhere, the church is an Holy place that we can draw all those that are lost and it is safe haven for them who are weary.

  24. 2 Chronicles 2:5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.

Psalm 135:5 But I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.

    Temple
It is a special privilege to be God’s spiritual dwelling place, individually and corporately. The glory of God, through the Holy Spirit, dwells within every believer and indwells the entire church.

Ephesians 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

I Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are brought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit which are God’s.

  25. 2 Chronicles 2:1, “AND Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.”

Determined – (Merriam – Webster) having a strong feeling that you are going to do something and that you will not allow anyone or anything stop you.
Synonyms for Determined – decided, purposeful, set, etc…

Solomon had Determined, had decided, had purposed, had set in his heart and mind to build an house for the name of the LORD, and he was not going to let anyone or anything stop him from doing it. He had a made up heart and a made up mind.

In building an house for the name of the LORD, for we are the temple of God, we have to be Determined everyday to live for JESUS. We have to have already decided, have already purposed, have already set in our heart and mind to live for JESUS. We cannot let anyone or anything stop us from living for JESUS. We have to have a made up heart and a made up mind.

The house we are building should be great: the house we are building should be wonderfully great: for great is our God above all gods.
How do we build this great/wonderfully great house for God? through Prayer, Fasting, Reading His Word, Worship, Witnessing, LIVING JESUS – GIVING JESUS!

  26. “I am about to build a Temple to honor the name of the Lord my God. It will be a place set apart to burn fragrant incense before him, to display the special sacrificial bread, and to sacrifice burnt offerings each morning and evening, on the Sabbaths, at new moon celebrations, and at the other appointed festivals of the Lord our God. He has commanded Israel to do these things forever.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭2:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬
The Temple was built that it might be dedicated to God and used in his service. This we should aim at in all our business, that our havings and doings may be all to the glory of God.

  27. 5“This must be a magnificent Temple because our God is greater than all other gods. 6But who can really build him a worthy home? Not even the highest heavens can contain him! So who am I to consider building a Temple for him, except as a place to burn sacrifices to him?

The temple must be great. So make your home great also. Bring God into the household, pray together and read the Word. Make your home a place of praise and worship. Show your children, your home is a temple of God.

  28. This chapter shows how valuable a “Vision to Misson” is.
    1. Vision to mission – what’s your mission
    2. Plan – get details
    3. Pray
    Now GO work the plan

Solomon had a great vision that was passed down from his father. Now we see him on a Mission and working the plan.

  29. 6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

Solomon was humbled before the task of building this temple which was a monumental undertaking. He could have been arrogant with the great task placed in his hands and yet he wasn’t. When the Lord calls us to do any task, any ministry in his kingdom, we should approach it with humbleness. God could choose anyone and if he chooses you, you are blessed, so stay humble. Regardless what we do for the kingdom-great or small, we are to do it with all our might unto him. His mighty kingdom deserse our best.

  30. 5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.

6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

7 Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.

8 Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know that thy servants can skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall be with thy servants,

9 Even to prepare me timber in abundance: for the house which I am about to build shall be wonderful great.

David bought the land for the temple, and Solomon built something beautiful for the Lord to dwell in with the Lords help. Our body is a temple also and it should be something beautiful for God to dwell in, he bought the land when he was on the cross, and we need to let him show us how to build this temple to his specifications.

  31. 1 And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.

Determined – having made a firm decision and being resolved not to change it.

In the world we are living in, there is no room for questioning.

Our hearts and minds must be made up! We have to be determined to live for Him!

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
    ‭‭Joshua‬ ‭24:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  32. TLB – 5 It is going to be a wonderful temple because he is a great God, greater than any other. 6 But who can ever build him a worthy home? Not even the highest heaven would be beautiful enough! And who am I to be allowed to build a temple for God? But it will be a place to worship him.[a]

Solomon was building an earthly temple where people could come and worship God, the one true living God. Today we come to earthly temples as a corporate body to worship, but how even better we are the temple of the living God. His Spirit lives and breathes in us and through us.

We have the privilege to know Him, to love Him and to worship Him. What can we give a King who has everything? We must give Him what we was created to give Him – true worship, from a pure heart.

We have the opportunity to dwell in the secret place with Him, the intimacy of our own heart and thoughts. Walking with Him daily, seeking His will and His way. Dying out to our fleshly desires and submitting ourselves to His righteous ways.

    Psalm 91:1
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

  33. 1 And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.

Determination is a must!!! But being determined in the kingdom is even more important!!!

  34. 1 And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.

3 And Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, As thou didst deal with David my father, and didst send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein, even so deal with me.

7 Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.

8 Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know that thy servants can skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall be with thy servants,

9 Even to prepare me timber in abundance: for the house which I am about to build shall be wonderful great.

They supply each other with whatever they need because of the covenant he made with David.

The accurate view of GOD and HIS Kingdom will reveal to us that HE and HIS Kingdom are much larger than anything we can naturally comprehend. The call to Ministry is overwhelming if only viewed through the carnal eyes of man.

The wisdom of Solomon revealed to him that the opportunity was much larger than he could accomplish. The wisdom of Solomon also revealed to him how awesome GOD is and the great honor that is extended to us to be used in Ministry of building a house for GOD.

Solomon asked for HELP in every area, to accomplish the Mission for the LORD. As a Leader and Minister it is our goal and desire to solicit help from everyone that will. The call of The POFW is too big for one person. So I appeal and request HELP. HELP in Prayer, Evangelism, Worship, Giving, Opening the Door, Cleaning the Floor, Driving the Bus, Cutting the Grass, Aligning the Chairs, Cleaning the Baptistry, Inviting a Friend, Calling a Brother, the list goes on and on.

JESUS is calling for HIS Church to RISE and BUILD in these last days.

  38. 5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.

For there will never be any other god is greater, the one thing that separates our lord from any other god is simply that our God is alive and still doing miracles and the others are dead or simply do not exist. And also we should always have and keep a place for God in our no matter what because god should always be a priority!!

  39. “And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods. It takes a a body to build. We all have been given gifts and talents the The LORD JESUS has given. Not to keep to ourselves. He desires for us to build, grow, and minister to a lost and dying country.

““But the master replied, ‘You wicked and lazy servant! If you knew I harvested crops I didn’t plant and gathered crops I didn’t cultivate, why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank? At least I could have gotten some interest on it.’ “Then he ordered, ‘Take the money from this servant, and give it to the one with the ten bags of silver. To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away. Now throw this useless servant into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’”

  40. “I am sending you a master craftsman named Huram-abi, who is extremely talented. He will work with your craftsmen and those appointed by my Lord David, your father.

  42. In this chapter Solomon and his crew were preparing to build the temple. We have to prepare our alter in order to build it. If we don’t prepare how are we going to get things done? Do you prepare or go straight in your work? I know that if we prepare things, it will be in a more constructive fashion. So I give you my little message today to prepare your alter of worship, cause one day you are really going to need it and it should be an easy reach!

  43. I learned that so I was talking to Jesus and he said give me some pieces to build my own temple like another man did in my temple will be awesome

  44. 4 Behold, I build an house to the name of the Lord my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the Lord our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.

    1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV
[19] What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? [20] For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Our bodies are a temple, meant for worshipping Him.

  45. 11 Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because the Lord hath loved his people, he hath made thee king over them.
12 Huram said moreover, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who hath given to David the king a wise son, endued with prudence and understanding, that might build an house for the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.

Only Jesus sets rulers in place.

Prudence and understanding, two things identified as tributes that Jesus looks for when picking/ grooming someone for leadership.

  46. 5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.

Our home should be build and founded upon His word. The foundation we construct will determine how we handle the storms that come our way. Lay your foundation on Jesus who is above ALL!

  47. 1 And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.

5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.
    2 Chronicles 2:1 & 5 KJV

Let us build our home and our foundation on the Lord. We are the children of the Lord let us be determined to seek him and read his word daily, we should want to grow more and more in jume daily NLT just because we have/need to. Let us plug into the connection we have with God, let us make him our foundation, we will go through some bumps in life that God puts us through to help us grow, and those are the times to have a good relationship with him for he will fill you with his love peace and strength.

  48. 2 Chronicles 2:5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the only true God. The other gods are false dead gods. We need to help others find our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus for this day!

  49. 1 And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.

There’s a difference in the way we do things we determine to do or things we do halfhearted. I’m reminded of Pastors message last night, Worship, the art of Giving.

We should never halfhearted anything related to Jesus. It should be with determination, and full of passion. As we LIVE Jesus determined, we will have an abundance of Jesus to GIVE.

  50. 5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.

6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

This should be a motivation and bring joy to our hearts. The very fact that no human house or building can be big enough to contain our God. Yes the temple is a place consecrated and dedicated to worship God. Who our God truly is cannot be contained. May this image resonate bigger and louder. As things come against us, as we face challenges remember how great is our Lord and God Jesus.

  51. 6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

7 Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.

only the best to build the best

we have to keep in mind on how we not only have church but how our church together. yes no physical church can ever hold the Glory of God. but we must keep in mind that the physical church is a mirror of the church. if a people keeps their church well and clean then you can tell they have some order.

when we build our church make the church look beautiful don’t dress up or build a church with sloppy hands and used blue prints. the temple of God is a holy place and it deserves the best attention.

    be the church yourself

  52. 4 Behold, I build an house to the name of the Lord my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the Lord our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.

When it comes to Jesus we need to give our best! I pray that I can be like David and Solomon David was a man after Gods own heart and Solomon built a house from scratch for the Lord! I want to have what they had with God!

  53. 2 Chronicles 2

“And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭2:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This Scripture means that, Jesus should be the center of Our Lives and no one or thing should be above him. For The First Commandment Of The Lord says We should not have other gods before us which means one will love the other and hate the other, What God will you serve the world or God.

  54. “And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭2:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Solomon was determined to build a house before the lord. We should be just like Solomon and make sure we are determined to build a house for the lord in our lives. When it is built we must make sure that we are taking care of it because we don’t want it to become infested. When we don’t pray and fast we are putting our spirit in danger of becoming infested because we are not taking care of our house that we have build before him. Let us continue to make sure we are remaining determined and loyal to upholding the house we have built upon him.

  55. 4 Behold, I build an house to the name of the Lord my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the Lord our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.

What have you built in your life for God? What habits have you made? What guards have you put up against things? Build a life that satisfies Him! Offer sacrifices to Him not only daily, but multiple times a day.

5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.

He deserves this. . . Why? Because He is Great and above all!!! “. . . for great is our God above all gods.”

  56. 2 Chronicles Chapter 2

This is also what will happen again in Israel before Christ arrives. For The antichrist will step into the temple and declares that he is god.

A temple will be build a house to the name of the Lord God, to dedicate it , and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the Lord our God. This is an ordinance given through to Moses to Israel.

Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:
This New Temple will be made as Solomon’s Temple was and the ordinance above will be done in Israel in Jerusalem.

  57. ““This must be a magnificent Temple because our God is greater than all other gods. But who can really build him a worthy home? Not even the highest heavens can contain him! So who am I to consider building a Temple for him, except as a place to burn sacrifices to him?”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭2:5-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬
    https://www.bible.com/116/2ch.2.5-6.nlt

The God of Jacob and the beginnings and end my God and savor is different and above other gods and idols let our temples be holy.

  58. ““Send along the wheat, barley, olive oil, and wine that my lord has mentioned. We will cut whatever timber you need from the Lebanon mountains and will float the logs in rafts down the coast of the Mediterranean Sea to Joppa. From there you can transport the logs up to Jerusalem.””
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭2:15-16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It is better to give than to receive let us give God our time, talent, treasure, and obedience to Jesus. Let our work and worship not be equal with worldly things we desire for there’s nothing more valuable than obeying the word of God. God measures our obedience to serve in His kingdom He knows how much effort we give to Jesus, let’s give all to God let work in unity and praise Him with holiness and give all glory due unto His name!

  59. 5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.

There may be many churches, temples, masques and synagogues out their serving various gods. However, their is only One Living God. All the rest have their tombs but not Jesus. The temple we build for the Lord counts out physical bodies, church body and the building we worship our Lord of Lords and King of Kings. He is our Everlasting Father in creation, Jesus son of Redemption and Holy Spirit that gifts us with His Holy Spirit that dwells within us today. He’s the same yesterday, today and forever. The building address may change and construction can expand the size of it but He is still God no matter the walls we find ourselves surrounded by. He is everywhere at all times. Solomon may have constructed a great temple but the purpose was to bring his people together to serve a mighty God. Solomon isn’t boasting in his work he is lifting up the fact out God is greater than any false god this world has to offer. Solomon may have created a temple with the details God provided him with but it was stuff. What I mean is it was all temporary to the affect that when we die we can’t take a building with us. Instead church should live inside us. We should be church, in the essence of serving and worshipping God is what we do between the porch steps and the church steps. We only take the Holy Ghost that already lives inside us, with us when we leave these houses made by mans hands. I can only imagine but it’s going to beyond great!

  60. 1 And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.

Salomon was determined to his duty of building the temple for the Lord. That’s what it takes to do anything. Determination. Without it, nothing will get done. God had elected him to be the one to do this kind of job. God has chosen us for a special mission. That is to build his kingdom. We are kingdom builders.

  61. 5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.

6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

Solomon says who am I to build the House of God, he is great and above all Gods. He knows that God is greater than just building a house.

  62. 18 And he set threescore and ten thousand of them to be bearers of burdens, and fourscore thousand to be hewers in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred overseers to set the people a work.

These positions were necessary to keep the building of the temple in order. In our day people don’t like to stay in position they are always trying to do it all on their own and can’t figure out why they aren’t going anywhere. The simplicity of it is we can only do so much on our own and if we want to build something great it will take all of us being in position doing all we can. God honors hard work, loyalty and obedience. When all three are combined he is sure to join in and help. In 2021 let us be at our post and ready to serve each other.

  63. “whose mother was from Dan and whose father was from Tyre. He is trained to work in gold and silver, bronze and iron, stone and wood, and with purple and blue and crimson yarn and fine linen. He is experienced in all kinds of engraving and can execute any design given to him. He will work with your skilled workers and with those of my lord, David your father.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭2:14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We all have skills that are useful to the building of God’s kingdom. It’s important to know what your skills are so you can properly use them to benefit the work of the Lord.

  64. And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods. I think of how wonderful and beautiful the temple must have been, for the word tells me so in such perfect detail. However no matter what man can design, build, create, it is still limited in its grandness because it was only built by man. No matter how wonderful and brilliant things man has come up with, we are nothing compared to the creator. My small, limited mind does not have the capacity to try and imagine the wonder and splendor of the majesty of what he is creating for us. I believe that we are going to be in such awe of him and heaven that we will never be able to stop staring in wonder and humbleness. He is perfect, he is great, and wonderful and the house he is creating for us shall be his greatest creation for us. I would rather have a tiny closet in my father’s house, than the biggest mansion on earth. Praise Jesus, for only he is worthy of our praise. Amen.

  65. What type of incense are we giving unto the Lord?

What type of incense are we giving unto the Lord? The Lord knows our true worship. He knows what type of sacrifice we are giving unto Him. Lord I pray that my incense would always be sweet unto you Lord!
