2 Chronicles 3

Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.

And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.

And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.

And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.

He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.

And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.

And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.

10 And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.

11 And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.

12 And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.

13 The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.

14 And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubims thereon.

15 Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.

16 And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.

17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.

  1. ” Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.” When I read this verse I am in awe of God’s masterful plan and his perfectness in showing us again and again that he likes things his way, and never changes. He has continued to use this very location of the temple since the day of Abraham. I believe it is to show us that he doesn’t forgot, he could have easily changed the spot of where he wanted the temple to be built, but he is true to his word. I hope one day to visit Israel, it is a dream I have to be able to see the places the Lord walked, to be able to see the places we read about in his great word. The more I read and taste, and eat the word, the hungrier, I become to learn more. I pray one day that I may look upon Mount Moriah, with his word in my hand, and praise him. God is great, and I’m sure that the temple Solomon created was a sight to behold, but nothing will be as wonderful or amazing as the sight of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Praise Jesus, and Amen.

  2. 1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

2 And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

After much planning and preparation, the construction finally began in the fourth year of Solomon’s reían. With over 150.000 workmen and almost limitless resources, it would still take over seven-year to complete. The foundation of your journey it’s already laid down on the hand of the Lord Jesus Christ with unlimited potential‘s but take a while it will happen to patients. Amen.

  3. 6 And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.

The Lord’s house is valuable and his Church which is the bride of Christ has value. We might be able to interpret the construction materials to represent some virtues. The trunk of the fir tree grows straight and the path to salvation is unwavering. The cedar tree does not rot and our salvation is incorruptible. Gold is pure and hard to find as well as malleable. Thoes that seek the Lord’s truth must search the scriputure as one seeks for gold, then the Lord will perform his work, which will mold us toward the perfected bride of Christ.

  4. Verses 15-17 MSG “He made two huge free-standing pillars, each fifty-two feet tall, their capitals extending another seven and a half feet. The top of each pillar was set off with an elaborate filigree of chains, like necklaces, from which hung a hundred pomegranates. He placed the pillars in front of The Temple, one on the right, and the other on the left. The right pillar he named Jakin (Security) and the left pillar he named Boaz (Stability).” Imagine entering the temple and feeling the security and stability in Jesus! We are God’s temple and what we should represent, when people see us is just that. They should want to know why we are always so positive and why the cares of this world are not bringing us down; but, rather is strengthening our faith.

  5. Reading the DETAILS that were described in decorating and creating the Lords temple . Attention to detail is what the Lord deserves and should get.. he is one of a kind and does not deserve the basic, cookie cutter prayer, praise, or temple. We are a representation of him and should be as detailed as these versus .

  6. “Across the entrance of the Most Holy Place he hung a curtain made of fine linen, decorated with blue, purple, and scarlet thread and embroidered with figures of cherubim.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭3:14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Now the most Holy place is open to us. Spiritual speaking Jesus dying for our sins by his blood having obtained redemption, we have entrance to the most holiest place.

“With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

In the temple, this vail was vail from top to bottom of the death of Jesus…
“At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. The earth shook, rocks split apart,”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27:51‬ ‭NLT‬‬
… showing us that through His death, there is no longer a barrier to the most Holy place.
My heart rejoice when I know I can go straight to Jesus without being afraid to pour out my heart and worship at his Feet.
    THANK You Jesus!!!

  7. 17. And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.

    Jachin = He will establish

Boaz = In him is strength

God is the pillar of our lives.
He is the one who establishes us and gives us strength.

Obedience is a wonderful thing. It allows us to be part of His great plan. Lead us today and show us what we can do for You Jesus.

  10. 2 Chron. 3: 17 [ amp] He erected the pillars before the temple, one on the right, the other on the left, and called the one on the left, and called the one on the right Jachin [ he shall establish] and the one on the left Boaz [ in it is strength].
Revelation 3: 12 [ amp] He who overcomes
( is victorious) , I will make him a pillar in the sanctuary of My God; he shall never be put out of it or go out of it, and I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which descends from My God out of heaven, and My own .
Worship him and love him because he deserves the very best.
I will worship him and bow down to him and I am not afraid to say the name of Jesus.
Thank you Jesus for you about been so good to us.

  11. Thank you Jesus Christ , our father which art heaven thy kingdom come thy will be done hallelujah leats hear and obey his voice today

So Solomon began to build the Temple of the Lord in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the Lord had appeared to David, his father. The Temple was built on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite, the site that David had selected. The construction began in midspring, during the fourth year of Solomon’s reign.

  12. My God is very precise and loves perfection. As I read today’s chapter I can envision how beautiful this building was. God in all his splendor and greatness put love in every measurement and material selection. I want to follow him and be in his footsteps. What more could we ask for than a God that loves us so much and wants the best for us!

  13. 1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

It is rather peculiar that Solomon was build the temple to God in a place where his father built the altar to God after sinning against God by conducting a census of Israel. This was the place where the punishment was stop during the three days of plague from the angel of the lord. This was the point that God stopped the angel from going any further and demanded David to build an altar. This place has great significance not only for Solomon but for God as well.

We have to look at the very place where God stopped the plague of sin in our lives and that place where we fully committed to God and we became full of his spirit. It is a place where God has asked us to build an altar in the beginning to find the judgment of Gods mercy and grace. It’s a place now where we have to make a temple for the spirit of the Lord to dwell in. Just like Solomon, we can not spare any expense or our very best to give to God. When we willingly obey the spirit and the will of God, we will prosper or we can let it be a reminder that when we disobey, it will be a reminder of the sin we committed. This is up to us how we move forward in the kingdom of God. Live Jesus to give Jesus 2.

  14. Jachin = “He will establish”

    Boaz = “fleetness”
    Fleetness—
noun The quality of being fleet; swiftness; rapidity in motion; speed. noun Synonyms Swiftness, Speed,
    Fleet—-
1 : a number of warships under a single command
specifically : an organization of ships and aircraft under the command of a flag officer

Definition of fleet (Entry 2 of 3)
    1 : swift in motion : NIMBLE
    2 : FLEETING

especially : a group (as of ships, planes, or trucks) operated under unified control

Definition of fleet (Entry 2 of 3)

    1a : to fade away : VANISH
    b archaic : FLOW
2 [fleet entry 2] : to fly swiftly
    clouds fleeting across the sky

I think possibly the pillars were named this because God was t be established in his house quickly.

  15. 3:1 then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem in mount Moriah where the Lord
Appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshing floor of
    Oman the Jebusite.
    ——-
    It wasn’t a sudden decision…
This plan ( Gods Plan) took place in order
    God appeared unto king David
    God talked to the king
    David obeyed and got busy
Then, the plan ( Gods will) came to pass.
Yes, king David wanted to build it for the Lord.
But it wasn’t the lord’s will for him to do it.
Again, it takes faith, prayer and communion with God
Relationship and desire for Gods will to come to pass.
For his people to be in tune with him.
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

  16. These are the dimensions Solomon used for the foundation of the Temple of God (using the old standard of measurement). It was 90 feet long and 30 feet wide.
    2 Chronicles 3:3 NLT

    https://bible.com/bible/116/2ch.3.3.NLT

The old way of measurement was used. When we are doing the work of the lord we need to make sure it is to the Lord specifications and not our own

  17. 1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

I love how the Bible gives exact descriptions of the measurements all throughout the house of the Lord that Solomon builds in Jerusalem. it tells of the location, how tall and wide with every aspect of the temple. While we may not know the exact reason that the Bible gets such detailed information on it we do know that it was important enough to put in there. God is watching everything that we’re doing and how we are doing it how we honor him and are obedient to him. Solomon may have went astray later on in life but we do know that he built the largest most extravagant Temple for the Lord and God honored him for putting him first

  18. 17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.

    Strength and Establishment
I looked up the two names of the pillars that were placed before the temple . Boaz is strength and Jachin is to establish. The temple of God’ is our body .
    1 Corinthians 6:19
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

The pillars we receive is strength through the power of the Holy Ghost Acts 1:8 ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you.
And not only strength is given to us but God establishes us through His word . This is why it is so important to get into the word. Spirit and Word .

    1 Thessalonians 3:13
so that He may establish your hearts without blame in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints.

    Two pillars Strength and Establishment
This is what will be the pillars in our temple where Jesus Christ dwells. Thank you Jesus that you dwell within us .

  19. 17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.

    Revelations 3:12
“He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.”
    ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

  20. “Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the LORD appeared to his father David, in the place that David had prepared, on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

Now this is the [measurement of the] foundation which Solomon laid for the house of God: the length in cubits—by the old standard of measure—was sixty cubits (90 ft.), and the width was twenty cubits (30 ft.).”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭3:1, 3‬ ‭AMP‬‬

I think it’s somewhat important to point out two things here. First, Solomon was able to begin building on Mount Moriah because David had already prepared the area where Solomon would build the temple. As parents it’s very important we establish an area, or a foundation, for our children to have the opportunity to build their temple, their own personal relationship with God. We need to be sure to cultivate their hearts with the word of God so when the time comes for them to decide to love for God, not because they feel it’s “expected” of them but because they are genuinely want to, there will be a foundation for them to begin building that relationship with God.

Second, I found it interesting that it needed to be noted the method of measurement used to establish the size of the temple was that of “the old standard of measure.” It’s very important that we too also use the “old standard of measure” when it comes to making sure we are separated from this world. It’s easy to change standards or ideology in order to stay “relevant” or to “appeal” to an ever evolving world/generation but let’s not forget the standard of measurement that came before us. Let’s not water down the doctrine or standards that have been long established before us. Let’s not forget that by choosing a different method of measurement in which we live for God we are only giving an example to our children after us to do the same and eventually the measurements we were given no longer exist.

  21. So Solomon began to build the Temple of the Lord in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the Lord had appeared to David, his father. The Temple was built on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite, the site that David had selected. The construction began in midspring, during the fourth year of Solomon’s reign.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭3:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This doesn’t mean that Solomon delayed his obedience for four years. I want to always live an obedient life.
    Characteristics of Obedience =
    Fear the Lord.
    * Stand in awe and reverence of God.
    * Speak God’s Word and His instruction.
    * No wrong must be found on our lips.
    * Walk in peace and uprightness.
    * Turn yourself and others from iniquity.
    * Guard knowledge.
    * Speak wisdom to others.

  22. 2 Chronicles 3:17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.

    Jachin- “He shall Establish “
Boaz- “In Him is Strength “

The directions given with regard to the temple are from God’s vantage point in the Holy of Holies( Most holy Place),looking outward from the west to the east.

May we reflect Solomon’s humble dependence upon God.

  23. 1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

    2 Chronicles 3:6
And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.

Just as Solomon used the best of the very best in the building of the temple, we should also give of our very best in all we do for the Kingdom of God and its furtherance.

    #liveJesus #giveJesus #2021squared

  24. The detail and the luxury that went into building the house of the Lord sounds extreme. I can only imagine how sparkly it would be at the first ray of sunshine hit all that gold overlay. The Glory of the Lord would shine like no other in there. I wonder also if it is a reflection of king Solomon’s style. After all, the Bible does refer to king Solomon style in Matthew 6: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
As the days go by and I read the news, it has become evident that we are living in the last days. This week alone I have read of a daughter that killed her mother and a son that beat his mother to death, Mark 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
Earthquakes everywhere, and even in our capital city was in complete chaos. So I stand watch for Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. WATCH AND WAIT, for the construction of the temple will begin. Pay attention to the times and watch faithfully, prepare yourself and those around you for the fields are white!!!!

  25. “…He placed the pillars in front of The Temple, one on the right, and the other on the left. The right pillar he named Jakin (Security) and the left pillar he named Boaz (Stability).” 15-17 MSG

Too many times in our life we look for things to be our security, and stability. We look for it in people, materialistic things, and even online. And many times we fall up short. Yet, when we find security and stability in the Same today, yesterday, and forever more Jesus we will never fail.

It’s through His stability that we find security. It’s through living such a lifestyle, that we are called to share and give it to others!

  26. 2 Chronicles Chapter 3
The work of the first Temple started and precise was the building and everything was completed according to the plans given to Solomon by His son King David. Great was the work.

  27. If God was so meticulous in giving to Solomon the design the temple he would build for Him, why would we think that God is not attentive to our needs?

God has infinite wisdom and sea and knows all things. Therefore He knows what our lives look like. He knows when we gave a need or a want and He is well aware of our dreams and desire.

When we seek after God like Solomon and David, we
can rest assure that Hod is attentive to every detail of our life. I have hope today in Jesus!

  28. LIVE – GIVE JESUS2
PILLARS EVERY HOUSE OF GOD NEEDS

17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.

The pillar has significance in the BUILDING because of what it means.

    Pillar – 5982. ꜥammuwd, am-mood´; or ꜥammud, am-mood´; a column (as standing); also a stand, i.e. platform:—x apiece, pillar.

Pillar – to provide or strengthen; : a firm upright support for a superstructure : POST
2a : a supporting, integral, or upstanding member or part

The details of the BUILDING of the House of GOD are very detailed and important. The pillars are identified on purpose. Notice they are spaced for balance and in general identify the term STAND. Pillars are what the house STANDS on and for.

Tne Message version of the BIBLE reveals what Jachin and Boaz mean.

    MSG
2Chr. 3:17 He placed the pillars in front of The Temple, one on the right, and the other on the left. The right pillar he named Jakin (Security) and the left pillar he named Boaz (Stability).

Security and Stability are the pillars that identify, and reveal what we STAND for. The world is very insecure and unstable in these last days and they need a church that is Secure in their GOD and Stable in their DOCTRINE.

  29. 17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.

Naming these 2 pillars were significant in describing how God is establishing himself a dwelling place and putting his name in Jerusalem forever. Jachin means ‘he will establish’ and Boaz means ‘strength is within him’-according to what I could read about these names. These names were well known to the Hebrew people and they had to understand what they meant and what God was trying to establish in their lives through a relationship and walk with him. He is the same to us today. As we walk with him today he will use us to keep building his kingdom – he will establish and be strength to us , the church and to all who seek him.

  30. Jesus is our only strong foundation

    2 Timothy 2:19
But God’s truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription: “The lord knows those who are his,” and “All who belong to the lord must turn away from evil.”

    1 Corinthians 3:11
For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have—Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the foundation of his church.

Jesus is the foundation in our lives.

Jesus is the foundation that stands sure having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that  nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

The foundation is the unmovable faithfulness of God.

The foundation is the Church built on apostolic doctrine, ‘strong in the strength which God supplies through His eternal Son. On this rock—the apostolic confession of a true faith—I will build my church.

    Thank you Jesus

  31. Then he set up the two pillars at the entrance of the Temple, one to the south of the entrance and the other to the north. He named the one on the south Jakin, and the one on the north Boaz.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬
    Jachin = “He will establish”
    Boaz = “fleetness”
One pillar on my right and the other on my left.
I was so curious why they were named this so I started searching. They represent something for all of us.
One says I got you and the other says I can take care of this quickly. This is a temple of God built for God a place where the high priest went in once a year on the day of atonement. He’s walking through two pillars that’s telling him I got you and I’ll take car of you. We should think the Lord for those two pillars in our lives today because one won’t stand with out the other and you need to trust both statements.

  32. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus2
2Ch 3:17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.

Wow what a great temple that Solomon is building here. The sad thing is that everything God does, the enemy wants to copy. The Jachin and Boaz pillar names are now a main pillar in freemasonry. In Freemasonry, the pillars are named Jachin and Boaz and represent one of the Brotherhood’s most recognizable symbol, prominently featured in Masonic art, documents and buildings.

Conclusion: Pagans will always try to steal God’s principles and twist them into their own.

  33. 2 And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

Jesus takes note of every detail of our lives. Do we take the time to honor Him even in the little things?

  34. 15 Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.

We stand on the Covenant of the Lord Jesus Christ. And we will more in prayer for everything The enemy has stolen from us.

  35. 17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.

What are our pillars named at this moment? Are we aligned to the same pillars as the temple of the Lord Jesus? It is imperative that we too as children of God Almighty have the security and stability that God provides for us, now more than ever. We cannot afford for our pillars to be unstable and unsecured, for they can easily be stumbled and crumbled down. Let our pillars be planted firmly on the word of God and in obedience.

  36. 2 Chronicles 3:1 & 17
    1) THEN Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah,…
    17) And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and he called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.

On a side note of my Bible, it says that Jachin is “He shall establish”, and Boaz is “In it is strength.”
When we go to the house of the LORD, to the temple, to church, this is where we go to Establish (set up, start, begin, initiate, form, build) a relationship with God. We started, began, initiated a relationship with Him by Repenting, being Baptized in JESUS name, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. Now we continue to form and build a relationship with Him by hearing, receiving, and living His Word that is taught and preached to us.
Once we have Established a relationship with Him, He will Strengthen us. He will give us the Strength (power, toughness, energy, might, etc…) we need to be durable and stable during times of adversity in our life.

Thank You JESUS that You want to Establish a relationship with us.
Thank You JESUS that You give us Strength and Power to be durable and stable through all things in our life.

You’re a Great God and Greatly to be Praised!!

  37. Now Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the Lord had appeared to his father David, at the place that David had prepared on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite. This is the foundation which Solomon laid for building the house of God: The length was sixty cubits (by cubits according to the former measure) and the width twenty cubits. And the vestibule that was in front of the sanctuary was twenty cubits long across the width of the house, and the height was one hundred and twenty. He overlaid the inside with pure gold. The larger room he paneled with cypress which he overlaid with fine gold, and he carved palm trees and chainwork on it.
    II Chronicles 3:1‭, ‬3‭-‬5 NKJV

We must remember that we are the temple of God and a beautiful temple also has a strong foundation. Our Temple should be built with nothing but the best inside and outside.

  38. 3These are the dimensions Solomon used for the foundation of the Temple of God (using the old standard of measurement).

Everything had to be carefully constructed in detail. It takes time to get size and length measurements. We too should take our time to make decisions. Take time to carefully decide, on how it will effect you and others. Take time to pray about it.

  39. 1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

“The place that David had prepared”

Solomon was able to build the house of the Lord because his father had already prepared the place for him.

Just as the elders that came before us, prepared the way we now build on, we should leave something even greater behind for next generation to build on.

I was read verse one, I was also reminded of this passage.

“In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭14:2-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Our Father is preparing a place for us!

  40. 7 He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls

My DADDY IS IN THE DETAILS!!!

  41. We must have a strong foundation to build a house and to keep it safe through storms and unbearable conditions. We must build “our” house to God so we can withstand these trial of life that so many are going through.

“The Sovereign LORD is my strength: he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights.” Hababakkuk 3:19

Thank you dear Jesus for this day that you have made and all that is in it!

  42. 1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

2 And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

  43. Reading scriptures where God instructs someone to build something always fascinated me! He never missed a measurement he never said just build a church or just build a boat he always is specific with his instructions! This shows/tells me when listening to God we can’t just listen with one ear where he says build your life on a rock but he wants us to have a listening heart with both ears or our whole heart where he really wanted us to build our
Life on the rock of Christ! Someone can build their life on a rock of whatever they choose but if it isn’t of God it won’t stand as long as we want it to.

Jesus name I listen with all my heart!

  44. “Solomon began to build on the second day of the second month in the fourth year of his reign.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭3:2‬ ‭AMP‬‬

It doesn’t matter if you start building in the first month of the first year or the third Wednesday in July. What matters is you started building. We shouldn’t let timing stop us from building our relationship with God. There is no better time then now! I thank God He is available 24/7, 365 days a year. I pray we get to work!

  45. 2 Chronicles 3

This Chapter means that, The Lord wants Solomon to build The Temple Of The Lord to glorify Him and sent request to their allies to help him build The Temple.

  46. 15 Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.

When doing the work of the Lord, it is an honor. We must put our own desires to the side in order to do the will of the Lord. We can see great things when we do what God wants us to do. In him we will find the strength needed to move forward.

  47. My God and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which descends from My God out of heaven, and My own .
Worship him and love him because he deserves the very best.

  48. 1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

He built the temple in a known place. He did not build it in a place that had not been previously tried and that God had not show up at. He also built it in a place that would honor his father David.

We must dig deep and thresh harder that our children may carry on what we have burning inside of us. We are about the Kingdom and the vision will out live us. So we must plow some territory and leave it that those that come after us will have tried soil to build upon.

  49. 3 Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.

Again Solomon was instructed to build and he did. He isn’t question it he did it. When we begin to just do as we are asked we will begin to see the promises of god. Don’t question why just be a good steward and obey. Obedience is better than sacrifice. Sometimes the instruction may not feel right or look right but if we are willing to continue to be obedient we will reap the benefits

  50. Where are you building?

1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

Solomon the wisest man to ever live built where God was. There is no other place to lay your foundation but in the word of God. If we are wondering where our ministries are going to be built, here is the answer. It is where the word of the Lord is. We cannot begin any other way if we are to succeed in the Kingdom. I’m ready to build

  51. 1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
    2 Chronicles 3:1 KJV

Let us build our temple unto the Lord everyday. Let us grow closer and closer to the Lord, get our hearts and minds right with the path of the Lord that he has for us. Let us build our foundation but make it of the Lord, let us make our pillars of the Lord. Have faith in the Lord always for he can do anything. Remember to get closer to the Lord be obedient to him and you will see your life change in many ways and he will use you in miraculous ways.

  52. 0 And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.

Couldn’t help but think of Psalm 91.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord , He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
    Psalms 91:1‭-‬4 KJV

These cherubim were at the most holy place. There where the presence of God dwells. When you are in his presence, you are in His care. It should be good for us to make it a daily time to get in the presence of God.

  53. 17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.

What is our pillars of our temple? First we need to know what a Pillar does, according to brother google a pillar is a “tall vertical structure of stone, wood, or metal, used as a support for a building, or as an ornament or monument.”
What supports our moral and righteousness belief it’s the word of God. Let us have strong pillars to support and expand our faith for my God is good and righteous. I pary that the church will have strong pillars, so we may speak with boldness and love.

  54. 8 And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.

The house was built to honor God. His house is a sacred place I praise him and in his alter I leave my sacrifices for he’s an able God I trust in him always.

  55. 1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

2 And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

We must build a place, wherever we’re able, to prepare a place for worship, an altar no matter how big or small. It’s a place where we can go to grow closer to Him.

  56. 13 The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward

I could just imagine in my mind the gold, the details, the art. Like Solomon put detail into the temple, we should also put detail in what we give Him. We are the temple of God so what details are we doing for Him. How are we living? How is our temple? Is it beautiful and detailed for Him? Lord let my temple be for your glory and honor Lord!

  57. 11 And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.

I always love reading this verse and imagining the height and massive proportions of the cherubims. They were huge. That would be so interested to see a replica of.

17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.

I also find it interesting that he named pillars. This makes sense why we call certain elders in the church “pillars”. These are saints that have been in this Truth for a long time and hold standards and are an example to all the other younger generations in the church. These “pillars” are there to “hold the church “together” as they show the rest of us that it is possible to live a life for God.

  58. 51 So was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the Lord. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated; even the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, did he put among the treasures of the house of the Lord.

Many of us are left with or taught by our parents the importance of bringing forth or putting in practice lessons or advices that are sacred to have a faithful walk with Jesus, as they do/did. We too must instill in our children and the generations to come treasures that will keep their walk with Jesus faithfully. So they too can dedicate unto the Lord what has been taught before them as King Solomon did.

  59. “He made the veil [between the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies] of blue, purple, and crimson colors, and fine linen, and embroidered cherubim on it.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭3:14‬ AMP

So thankful that the veil was rent from top to bottom. And we can go straight to the Holy of Holies. We can sit at his mercy seat.
