2 Chronicles 5

Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the Lord was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Zion.

Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in the feast which was in the seventh month.

And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark.

And they brought up the ark, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the priests and the Levites bring up.

Also king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled unto him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be told nor numbered for multitude.

And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord unto his place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims:

For the cherubims spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.

And they drew out the staves of the ark, that the ends of the staves were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. And there it is unto this day.

10 There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put therein at Horeb, when the Lord made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.

11 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:

12 Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)

13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

  1. So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    That’s how you get gods attention praising and thanking he will show up! And show out.

    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:1-4
    “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.”

    ‭‭2 “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.”

    ‭‭3 “And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.”

    ‭‭4 “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

  2. “It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭5:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    I can remember many times seeing this cloud over POFW. I really do. It was more evident in the old campus to me. Not that it isn’t now. But when the body is united, and the praises go up unto the LORD JESUS our praise is like a sweet smelling i Incense unto the Lord Jesus.

    “Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭150:1-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  3. 11 Chronicles 5
    Unity of Worship
    13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    There was great unity as the musicians began to worship . Their praises was so unified God’s glory filled the place. It is so important for unity within the body of Christ. As praise singers and musicians especially we are so privileged to set an atmosphere within the congregation. We must not allow our thoughts to wonder but keep our focus right upon God . God was the minister. He filled up the place His presence so strong and thanks and praise was all that was on their mind . As one. One sound. Everyone praising God at the same time.
    Unity this is why we must stop at the altar be sure our hearts are prepared for worship so that we do not miss what God truly wants to do within our midst .

    The day of Orntecist they were all in one mind and one accord . I cannot even imagine what God will do when we enter into His courts with that one thing on our mind praise snd thanksgiving.
    We must guard our conversations as we enter into into the place of worship. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.

  4. 4 And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark.

    The Levites were the ordained priests santified to perform the funtions of the temple. In our new covenant the pastor is consecrated to speak to Word of the Lord to the congregation. When our pastor delivers a sermon it is what the Lord wants, to admonish the body for a closer relationship to him.

  5. What a powerful and encouraging read this morning. Verses 11-13 MSG “The priests then left the Holy Place. All the priests there were consecrated, regardless of rank or assignment; and all the Levites who were musicians were there—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, and their families, dressed in their worship robes; the choir and orchestra assembled on the east side of the Altar and were joined by 120 priests blowing trumpets. The choir and trumpets made one voice of praise and thanks to God—orchestra and choir in perfect harmony singing and playing praise to God:

    Yes! God is good!
    His loyal love goes on forever!

    Then a billowing cloud filled The Temple of God. The priests couldn’t even carry out their duties because of the cloud—the glory of God!—that filled The Temple of God.” How amazing, powerful and awesome is the unity of God’s people. We must be very careful however as Bro. Adams preached, to recognize what is trying to encroach the presence of God out of our lives and resist it completely…… not partially, not only sometimes; but fully. We must stand our ground and declare ourselves holy temples where God’s glory can flood in and fill.

  6. 13. The trumpeters and singers performed together in unison to praise and give thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, they raised their voices and praised the LORD with these words: “He is good! His faithful love endures forever!” At that moment a thick cloud filled the Temple of the LORD.

    14. The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the LORD filled the Temple of God. NLT

    Key word: UNISON
    We’ve all heard an orchestra warming up before a performance – total chaos. But when the conductor brings them together and they begin to play in unity – what a beautiful, powerful sound!
    The same goes for us. When we all try to do our own thing, chaos prevails. But when we all allow unity to prevail, God shows up and works powerfully among us.

  7. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    One unified praise unto the Lord. When we are unified in worship and praise, yolks can be destroyed and we get to experience the glory of God.

  8. Thank you Jesus Christ for today, our father which art in heaven thy kingdom come thy will be done hallelujah great God

    The trumpeters and singers performed together in unison to praise and give thanks to the Lord . Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, they raised their voices and praised the Lord with these words: “He is good! His faithful love endures forever!” At that moment a thick cloud filled the Temple of the Lord . The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the Lord filled the Temple of God.

    How powerful do you think a service could get if we all got our minds on what mattered the most, Jesus. They were all together the musicians and singers and praised the Lord.. If you can’t think of anything to pray for before service pray this and see what God does. When we make him first the things he can do are limitless.

  10. 2 Chron. 5:13-14 [ amp] And when the trumpeters and singers were joined in unison, making one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with trumpets and cymbals and other instruments for song and praised the Lord, saying, For He is so good, for His mercy and loving- kindness endure forever, then the house of the Lord was filled with a cloud.
    ([14] So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, For the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.
    Wow want a great experience to come together in unity as one accord.
    Enter his courts with Thanksgiving.
    Enter his courts with Praise !
    Yes the Lord is good!
    Lift up your voice and sound Jesus!
    Praise God for His love endure forever.
    Hallelujah.

  11. 12 Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)

    13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    Obviously the most essential part of the temple the priest brought in the ark of God. The covenant that was made between God and the children of Israel. They moved the presence of God into the temple. The second most essential part of the temple was the praise that the levites came out of setting the ark and began to stand at the altar offering praises to God and the glory cloud filled the temple.

    It is very important that we as the church, set our minds on the essential aspect of praise. No matter what we are going through or what we are facing, we have to worship with praise on our lips. This is the tool that will get God’ attention when nothing else will. We have to carry a heart of worship so that even when we face adversity we praise our way through it. We have to give honor to the king of kings and the lord of lords.

  12. 5:13 those who blow the trumpets and those who sang were like one person, when they praise and thanked the Lord.
    They made a loud noise with the trumpets cymbals and instruments of music.
    They praise the lord is god and his faithful love last forever.
    —-
    Hallelujah!!!!
    from low to high
    All in one acord,
    Exalting the Lord, declaring his goodness and faithfulness, until…..
    What a wonderful service🙌🙌🙌 dedicated to the Lord.
    We are blessed to be in a church that isn’t dead
    But alive, where are blessed to be part of a church
    Where God chosen to Mabe’s get himself in such a way.
    He is faithful and he visit us all the the time.
    We want his presence, we need his presence
    At all times.
    Hallelujah 🙌🙌🙌
    Blessed be the name of the Lord.
    I will praise the lord, at all times, and his praise shall continually be in my mouth, hallelujah 🙌.

  13. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;
    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    How powerful would His presence be at Pofw if we came together in one accord and gave our ALL in praise.

  14. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    To me this just proves that tru worship will bring the glory of the Lord!

  15. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    The Lord is so good. I had the opportunity once to see this kind of service in Puerto Rico when I was just a young girl at my aunts church one Sunday in the summer. The Holy Ghost was so strong that the service never stopped it started in the morning and it kept going until 10 pm at night !! I was only 12 years old and I just sat there watching mesmerized by what was going on. The Pastor finally shared the word about 9:00 pm. I don’t know what would happen at POFW if this was to happen? I pray that y’all could experience this. For me it was incredible, I didn’t feel hungry at all. I didn’t have the Hoy Ghost like others but The Glory of God was so strong that all I could do was watch and feel. What I felt was out of this world, I felt love, Joy, and peace. When it was all over and we went home then I was hungry, my aunt was still praising God as we walked down the mountain to go home. It was the most beautiful experience in my life.

  16. Being in one accord is powerful. Part of verse 13 and 14…So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God. For he is good for his mercy endures forever…there is nothing that can compare when a bunch of Gods people are in unison and the power comes down. I could live in that mode forever!

    This passage distinguishes the result of Praise and Worship Teams and Musicians MInitering unto the LORD as ONE. There are many musicians and singers that have great talent but are selfish, they desire the lead, the spotlight, the part, to be the loudest, have the run, play it their way, This attitude disrupts unity among the team because it produces an isolation or identity opportunity.

    I believe the first and greatest test for all who will lead in praise and worship Teams, whether singers or musicians is how well or willingly they are to submit to authority. We are all witness to the result here in this passage when the Team is AS ONE. Notice the NIV translation of this passage.

    11 The priests then withdrew from the Holy Place. All the priests who were there had consecrated themselves, regardless of their divisions. 12 All the Levites who were musicians—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun and their sons and relatives—stood on the east side of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps and lyres. They were accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets. 13 The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang:

    “He is good;
    his love endures forever.”
    Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud,

    There was UNITY in the Ministry and Harmony in the Musicians and the GLORY of the LORD took over. It is our goal and desire at The POFW to experience this great demonstration of GODs power on display. As we all sincerely REPENT and wholeheartedly SUBMIT, we will experience this as we have in times past at The POFW.

  18. 2 Chronicles 5

    1 Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the Lord was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.

  19. 1 Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the Lord was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.

    Something that stands out to me and I can’t seem to get past is that Solomon and David were two mighty leaders, but they were different yet conjoined. David was a warrior and Solomon made peace. Something that they both did similarly was brought the people of God in unity. David had them fighting together and Solomon had them working together to build the temple. But Solomon did what David couldn’t. Since David’s hands had shed blood God would not allow him to build a temple so he passed that on to his son. Solomon spent the first four years of his reign as king doing just that. At the dedication of the building Solomon brought in David’s personal dedicated things along with his own. As we work together for the Lord let us remember it is about unity and dedication

  20. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus2
    Verse 5: …”an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:”

    Hey y’all does this sound familiar? There were 120 priests sounding 🎺 trumpets… is this Coincidence or is this prophetic.

    Act 1:15  And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

    Act 2:2  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
    Act 2:3  And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
    Act 2:4  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

  21. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    We find unity in this in this verse “one team -one sound” and God honored that unity and His glory cloud filled the room. When our Music Ministry achieves the unity God desires us to have, this same glory will come to every service so that people can be ushered into that mist holy place of worship.

  22. 14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    This temple was built according to God’s design and each piece was set in it’s place. Then during the dedication, the singers and musicians were in unity of praise as one sound. God shows his approval when he descends in a cloud of glory and takes over the service. This is what we should expect in our services! Praise and worship in unity draws God as he dwells in the praises of his people-then we must allow him to take over the service! Be sensitive to the moving of his Spirit and let God prevail as our enemies are scattered.

  23. 11 “Then the priests left the Holy Place. All the priests who were present had purified themselves, whether or not they were on duty that day”

    A leader leads at all times. Not when its your scheduled day too, not when you feel like it. At all times. We continually need to be ready and available.

    Like the lessons learned from the miracle of feeding 5000. #2 Put yourself in position to do something big. The boy with the lunch, was in position. He was prepared, and available.

    I pray that as we LIVE Jesus, we will stay in position and ready, whether or not we are on duty. So that we may always be available to GIVE Jesus!

  24. The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the Lord filled the Temple of God.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭5:13-14‬ ‭NLT‬‬
    When the praise singers are in unity and the saints also. The glory of God will fall upon us. We must have unity.

  25. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    This great outpouring of the glory of God came when there was unified, dedicated praise.

    God pours out His glory when the people praise Him. So how can we ever expect His glory to fall in the church, in our homes and even in our own hearts, if we do not praise Him?

    “One sound”
    It is the unity of the praise team and musicians that will set the atmosphere for His glory to fall!

  26. 2 Chronicles 5:13,14 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard and praising and making the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbols and instruments and musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth forever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord ; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    It’s so important to in unity praising , thanking God and lifting up our voices with the singers and musicians so the house of the Lord will be filled with His presence. His mercy endureth forever! May the Glory of the Lord fill the house at POFW every service 2021

  27. 6There, before the Ark, King Solomon and the entire community of Israel sacrificed so many sheep, goats, and cattle that no one could keep count!

    “That they could not keep count”, they gave their best, their all. Give more than is what is need, don’t be satisfied with what is required. In what you give in time and talent, give 110% effort. God sees this, and bless you.

  28. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    The beauty of unity & worship. When we all come in one mind with the same purpose God fills his house with his Spirit. Worship is powerful! He knows our heart & knows when we worship Him in spirit & in truth. I always want to worship you Lord in spirit & in truth.

    Unity- a condition of harmony. Continuity without deviation or change(as in purpose or action).

    We see here that they come together and was on one accord in unity. There’s just something about when a body of believers are unified as one in praise, voice, and mind. When we are on one accord god comes in and moves like no other. I pray we continue to keep the mindset of oneness and unity when we come into the house of god. It’s when we are one that strongholds are broken, minds are healed.

  30. 2 Chronicles 5:12-14
    12) Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals, and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:

    14) So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.

    “THAT THEN The House Was Filled With A Cloud”
    It’s when we are in Unity, as One, to make One Sound, in Praising, Worshiping, in Thanking the LORD, in Lifting Up our Voices and Thanking HIM for His Goodness and His Mercy, it is “THAT THEN” the Glory of the LORD will fill the house.

  31. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord

    The MSG
    The choir and trumpets made one voice of praise and thanks to God—orchestra and choir in perfect harmony singing and playing praise to God:

    Yes! God is good!
    His loyal love goes on forever!

    Musically speaking, when doing something in unison, there should never be a distinction of voices/horns/stringed instruments, whatever the case may be.
    When singing in harmony, you will always have someone overpowering another person. But while singing in perfect harmony, you notice each voice and note very clearly and yet the harmony is so clean and crisp that it is a beautiful sound where no one overpowers another person, so even while singing different notes, they sound like one voice. It takes practice. It takes a lot of oxygen and energy. It takes the willpower to want to learn. The harmony is spot on. The enunciation of words is its own music to your ears. Each person has their specific role and they do not cross into each other ‘s lane. That’s what makes it a team. The individual work and growth is what separates a good team from a great team.
    Praise is the unison part. Worship is the perfect harmony.

  32. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    Great and might miracles can happen when come together as one body, unified together in our praise and worship.

  33. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    Something happens when we are as one. God can and will move when his people are in unity. Every time we come together for worship let us be as one to bring his glory down.

  34. 14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    For the season of revival is soon upon us, for it will not be long until the ministers of the church will not be able to make it to the preaching during a service because the presence of the lord is so strong in the room and my heart longs for that day but that also mean that it is time for us laborers to get out in the fields and prepare for the store houses for the soon coming harvest.

  35. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    What does it take to be One? Can you picture this amazing outcome. It really did came to pass. The bible is not a fiction book. So this tells me that it can happen again. This atmosphere can happen again and again. Yet the work then becomes in being One. One thing in mind they all had and it was to worship GOD. The musicians, with their instruments. The singers with their voice and the congregation was not an spectator but they also in unity with all others maybe one worship and lifted up their voice. All had one thing I mind. They all together with one accord: worship. And God manifested himself with great glory.

  36. 14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    In this chapter what came to me was that when it said the glory of the Lord filled them. This made me wonder…… are we accepting and allowing God to work on us? Are we receiving his glory? We must allow God to take his hand upon us and have him touch us. When His glory fills a room you feel an atmosphere, and it will be amazing! His glory is all we need and should desire! He is more than enough! You are enough! Let’s allow God to work in our lives cause none is perfect and we could all learn something new everyday!!!

    • Everyone in there own way did what they were called to do. The priest sacrificed the singers sang and God filled the room. God will not allow His Word to fall to the wayside. He will fill the room when there is unity and worship. He will make himself know when we do what we were called to do and that’s worship Him.

  37. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    The people were working in unity. God is looking for a people that are willing to work together. Working together is the only way we will accomplish the work of the kingdom. Our goal should always be to do what God wants us to do. No matter how hard it may seem, we must understand that God is always with us. It’s time for us to push forward, pass our pain and own desires to do what God would have us to do.

  38. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth forever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;
    2 Chronicles 5:13 KJV

    When we come together as one, and stand strong and tall and lift our voices unto the Lord anything is possible, mighty miracles will happen, strongholds will be broken. God loves seeing us work together and as a team spreading his light and his word. God brought us here not to work alone for him but to build a strong family that he knows he can trust on spreading his beautiful works and truth. Let us come together and spread the good news of the Lord, let us bless them with the truth and you will be witnesses to beautiful life’s changed.

  39. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    We mess up a lot. We’re humans. but He has so much mercy and love for us that He forgives and forgets. No one can love us the way He does!

  40. 11 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:

    12 Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)

    13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

  41. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;
    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    UNITY!!! UNITY IS IMPERATIVE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD!!! IT’S ABOUT THE SOULS!!!

  42. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    Every morning when we wake up we should praise the Lord for waking you up. Everywhere we go we need to thank the Lord for the day He has given to us, and that we get another day to win souls for His Kingdom.

  43. 2 Chronicles 5:13
    The trumpeters and singers performed together in unison to praise and give thanks to the lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, they raised their voices and praised the lord with these words:
    “He is good!
        His faithful love endures forever!”At that moment a thick cloud filled the Temple of the lord.

    Let us praise the Lord with singing and dancing. He is worthy to be praised. God is good all the time.

    Thank you Jesus

  44. 1 Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the Lord was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.

    I pray this is what 2021 looks like for us at POFW. Bringing everything back in the house. We are missing some stuff in the house and it’s time we got it back. I believe as we start putting some things back into place, God will put some stuff back into place for us.

    Give praise and give thanks! I love that Jesus inhabits the praises of His people. We don’t have to do anything complicated to invite Him in, we don’t have to be sophisticated with our words or crafty with our dance- all we have to do is give praise and thanks from our hearts.

  46. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    Like the song says let it rain, open the windows of heaven and let it rain. I want to be under his cloud every chance I get, because there is no rain without a cloud. Because he lives I can face tomorrow and that should be enough reason to give him all the praise that is due his name. Thank you Jesus for your hand in my life and leading me back to you.

  47. “It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭5:13-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    I love that unity and worship is what causes the presence of the Lord to become so thick.

  48. “The priests then withdrew from the Holy Place. All the priests who were there had consecrated themselves, regardless of their divisions.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭5:11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

    Good reminder that no matter where we think we are in God’s kk from, what importance we think we hold, what title you may have, or whatever, we must all examine ourselves and make ourselves clean before entering God’s presence.

  49. 2 Chronicles 5

    13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    As we give praise to our God (Jesus) He has stated that he inhabits our Praises. As we see in the above verse.

    Psalm 47:6 Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises!

    In Psalm above we are instructed To praise our God.

  50. “The trumpet players and singers made music together as if they were only one voice. They praised the Lord. They gave thanks to him. Some of them played their trumpets, cymbals and other instruments. The others raised their voices to praise the Lord. They sang, “He is good. His faithful love continues forever.” Then a cloud filled the temple of the Lord. The priests couldn’t do their work because of it. The glory of the Lord filled God’s temple.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭5:13-14‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

    I would have loved to have been there to experience this event. This is my prayer for POFW. That we would we play and sing as one. We would praise and give thanks to Him “One Team – One Sound”

  51. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;
    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    I is a beautiful thing when the presence of the Lord falls and it is so thick that it feels like a cloud. I have had the privilege to experience this many times and am so grateful. It is so nice to see these examples in the Bible.

  52. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;
    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    This only happens after much sacrifice and much work. We cannot expect to get a move fro me Jesus if we do not want to do our part first.

  53. 14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    Making room for the Glory of the Lord in our lives and in our walks. Do we yield to the Spirit and allow His Glory to fall when He desires? Are we on His schedule or our own?
