Psalm 147

Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

The Lord lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.

Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

10 He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.

11 The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

12 Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.

13 For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.

14 He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.

15 He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.

16 He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.

17 He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

18 He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.

20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord.

  1. 1 Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
2 The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

There is something so pure and sweet and true about singing praises unto God. It is a sweet aroma to bask in the presence of the Lord while giving him praise for all of his glory. There is no feeling on Earth similar to doing that. About a week ago I woke up in the middle of the night and wasn’t feeling well, feeling impressed to take a hot shower I began singng the song ” every praise is to our God” by the time I went back to bed my fever had broke and I felt completely refreshed and my mind and in my body. It is good to sing praises unto God

  2. Verses 5-6 MSG “Our Lord is great, with limitless strength; we’ll never comprehend what he knows and does. God puts the fallen on their feet again and pushes the wicked into the ditch.” If you seem to have lost your footing and are tired, let Him put you back on track and be your strength. Verse 11 MSG says “Those who fear God get God’s attention; they can depend on his strength.” Let the Lord’s strength help you as you Resist the Resistance.

    4. He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

    5. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

Scientists are still trying to figure out how many stars there are. One of their estimates is one septillion stars (that’s a one with 24 zeros behind it). However, they admit that that is probably too low because every time their equipment gets upgraded, they find more galaxies containing billions, if not trillions, more stars!
Meanwhile, our great, omnipotent God already knows how many stars there are (because He created them) and knows them all by name!!
What a mighty God we serve!

  5. Ps. 147 :11 [ amp] The Lord takes pleasure in those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy and loving- kindness.
The Lord preserves all those who love him, But all the wicked will He destroy.
The Lord will fulfill the desires of those who reverently and worshipfully fear him, He will hear their cry and will save them.

Thank for Wisdom , knowledge, and guildness.

The Joy of the Lord is our strength!
Without you Lord we cannot do nothing or accomplish anything!

  6. “Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our [gracious and majestic] God; Praise is becoming and appropriate.

He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds [healing their pain and comforting their sorrow].”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭147:1, 3‬ ‭AMP‬

Praise is what destroys the enemy. No matter what may come our way we must never loose our praise. God inhabits the praises of his people. Praise is the boost of energy that can get us through. No matter what we may go through we must always praise him. It’s in our praise that we find strength. It’s in our praise that we find peace. Never loose your praise.

  7. Psalms 147:1 & 7
    1) PRAISE ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
    7) Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

    Ephesians 5:18-20 says…
    18) … but be filled with the Spirit;
    19) Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
    20) Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord JESUS Christ.

It is always Good To Sing Praises Unto Our God for He is Worthy of All our Praise!
When we come to God with a Thankful and Grateful heart, and we begin to Praise and Worship Him in song, it is pleasant (pleasing, acceptable, attractive) to Him, and it is comely (beautiful, lovely, delightful) to Him.

So be filled with the Spirit today.
Praise, Worship, and Sing unto our God for it is Good, Pleasant, and Comely.

  8. Praise yes the Lord , his praise is what gets the bond stronger to have flowing communication with our God!

  9. Thank you Jesus Christ for today, let you will be done today – let’s seek and surrender to him for power and dominion

He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. He counts the stars and calls them all by name. How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension! The Lord supports the humble, but he brings the wicked down into the dust. He takes no pleasure in the strength of a horse or in human might.

  11. Glorify the Lord , O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! For he has strengthened the bars of your gates and blessed your children within your walls. He sends peace across your nation and satisfies your hunger with the finest wheat.

A house that revere’s the Lord is like a fortress. The foundation is Truth, the statutes are the walls. His angels keep guard day and night. I’m so great ful to feel this at such deep levels especially these days. God, You are so Faithful to us. I bless Your Holy Name.

  12. Psalms 147
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

Thank you Lord for the times you have healed me and so many others. Not only do you heal but you bind up the wounds. To bind up means to wrap up. Nit only healing but so many t times He takes His arms s d wraps them completely around us . He truly understands that though He has healed there are times we need Him to completely wrap Himself around us. Thank you Jesus for all You do for healing our hearts yet still so mindful of the frailty we have from time to time. The Gentle Shepherd ever reaching . His Word covering our heart daily to remind us of His promises.

  13. LIVE – GIVE JESUS2
    HEALING

3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

The greatest and wisest choice that man makes is to Live JESUS. HE Healeth, which means the HEALING begins when the wound is inflicted. Think for a moment about how long HEALING takes without JESUS.

I will give you a hint: forever.

The choice from perspective of depth and length of wound is a simple choice. If you like living in pain and perpetual wounds, then live to yourself and serve your own mission and vision.

    BUT

To Live JESUS and be spiritually healthy to Give JESUS the choice is simple. Serve JESUS in HIS Kingdom and do HIS will to live healed and restored.

  14. 7 Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:
8 Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

This reminds me of the time the great inventor Thomas Edision asked, where does all of the grass come from? Anything that appears to have mysterious origins to mankind, attest to the awesomeness of God as the mighty creator. God is great and he should be praised as part and parcel of our worship.

  15. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus2
Psa 147:2 The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

The word “outcast” here in verse #2 means “those who are pushed down”. The Word declares that God is going to build up Jerusalem…with those who are outcasts (the ones society have pushed down). If we think about it, isn’t this how God normally does it? We have Joseph. He was rejected and cast away into a pit and then prison. God saved Israel through an outcast. Or what about Moses. He was cast into the river (in an ark). Or what about David’s Mighty Men of Valor. They too were outcasts who God used to build up Jerusalem. What about Jesus. Yep, he too was a castaway. What about our own personal testimonies? I was just about nearly aborted, then cast into a dungeon but praise the Lord am now being used to help build the Kingdom….(had 5 first time guests come this Sunday by the grace of God).

Conclusion: God will build the Kingdom using Outcasts!

  16. 2 The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

11 The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

The first step to salvation and relationship with God is for man to recognize his need for God. This is why we must share the gospel and testify of His mercy. To me, it’s amazing to know the God of heaven and earth, who placed and knows every star, cares to know me and love me. Oh Lord, we need You every day and every hour! I never want to go a day thinking I don’t need You. My hope is in You Jesus!

  17. 19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord.

Many people are blind to what Jesus is doing. To His Word, His work. They are just oblivious. It is our calling to try to reach them and show them Jesus, and what He has done for us, so that they can see their need too for Jesus.

  18. 7 Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

8 Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

9 He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

10 He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.

11 The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

    Keep singing church
I’m gonna keep singing praises unto the Lord even when times are tough. Because He will never forsake me and I know it’s true. The Bible says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Fear the Lord folks he takes pleasure in them that fear him and those that trust in his ways.
    Remember Matt. 6:33

  19. 3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

Praise the Lord!! There is no way to explain how broken my heart was after burying my son. One thing I do know and that is that one day God picked up my heart and mended it. Does that mean that it do any hurt when I think about him? No!! What it means is that his memories no longer cripples me. I am able to cry when I am sad but is not for days at a time. I am able to live with joy again. It is so humbling to know that My Awesome God, th one that knows how many stars are in the heavens, the One that can call every single one by name, can take the time to console, heal, and mend my heart with His Love, Peace, and Joy!!! I said it once and I will say it again JESUS IS INTENTIONAL!!! There is NOTHING in this world He doesn’t already know. Not a crumb of bread falls on the floor without Him knowing. All this happening today in politics, in our communities, and around the world, He is aware of it all. So why doesn’t He stops it or change it??? Because we the people have forgotten that we need to humble ourselves and PRAY!!! We have become too comfortable and we have begun to tolerate the intolerable, and call it normal. We have let society as a whole tell us what’s acceptable and what is not acceptable. I am disgusted by this no gender thing and the fact that they can dictate what I can call myself!!!! Yes! We live in a free country and I am not taking your right to call yourself by whatever pronoun you desire; but that does not mean you can dictate what I call myself. Sorry I think I am getting off subject but I think it is important that we THE CHURCH realize that yes, times are changing but the CHURCH has a responsibility to follow the word of GOD, and how HE has instituted His commandments and morality. We can not allow society to derail God’s word!!! THANK YOU JESUS FOR YOU ARE GREAT AND GREATLY TO BE PRAISED!!!

  20. 3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

    If He Hung The Moon
    By: Kirk Talley

“In the beginning of time – He was the Creator,
And into existence He spoke the heavenly moon,
And with one mighty swoop of His hand,
He threw out the stars — He knew where they’d land,
So if you think, you’re just drifting along,
    Then I have good news.

If He hung the moon — I know He will (C)help you,
And if He holds the sparrow in flight — He’ll hold you too,
Consider the lilies of the field,
How much more He loves you,
In the beginning of time, you were on His mind,
When He hung the moon ”

What a might God we serve! He created a universe that is so complex that even overly educated scientists cannot explain the wonders of His creations! It’s past time that we share the works of His Hands and power His resurrecting powers!

  21. 2 The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

Some may agree that this psalm was penned when David was rebuilding the city of Jerusalem and bringing back the outcasts to help rebuild. When we look at the kingdom of God and those that are called, we all have been outcast in one form or another. When God found us, he reached down in the miry clay and pulled us out of the mire and muck of sin and placed us on a rock to stand. We have all have been affected by sin. God when he has called us out of darkness into his marvelous light. The great thing about the kingdom of God, God will use whomever will come to the beckoning call. They will more and likely will be outcasts. It is the church’s role to live them, teach them the word of God, and help them seek the salvation of the Lord.

Let us include those in the that the lord calls and let’s rebuild the church it’s glory.

  22. 3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
11 The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
12 Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.

God is the complete healer because he can mend the heart when it is broken. He knows and understands the deepest needs and can heal the scars of life. No medicine can do what He can. Many can testify what God has done – how he has healed or delivered and this testimony will draw others to God. What he has done for others, he can do for you; then we need to tell someone so they too can be healed. Give Jesus when the door to testify opens.

  23. “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭147:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Thankful in so many ways! Knowing that I can go to The Lord and pray for healing of my mind, body, and spirit.

  24. AMP -11
The Lord favors those who fear and worship Him [with awe-inspired reverence and obedience], Those who wait for His mercy and lovingkindness.

Many people want the favor of the Lord, yet they fail at the simpleness of what He expects … inspired reverence of Him and obedience to Him. When we accomplish these two areas of life, we will walk in His favor.

Reverence of the Lord is keeping His commandments, living in the mind of the Spirit, walking daily with Him, being led by His word and His Spirit. Obedience goes hand in hand with this. You can’t live in the spirit and walk in the spirit and walk in disobedience at the same time. Darkness doesn’t drive away darkness, light drives away darkness. Walking in the light of Jesus, obedience to Him bring His favor and mercies to our lives.

  25. “Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭147:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

There’s something about a song from a thankful heart that pleases the Lord. And God desires to hear that song. So each and everyday sing unto the Lord a new song. There’s something to thank the Lord for each a everyday. Thank you Lord for the breath you’ve given me today, my health and strength.

  26. 1 Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord.

This chapter begins and ends with the same words “Praise ye the Lord”, showing us just how important it is to the Lord.

There will be no place in heaven for those who do not praise, because heaven is a place of continual praise and worship.

But why would we not want to praise? When we enter into the spirit of praise and worship, His spirit and His joy enters into us!

  27. Psalm 147:5 Great is our Lord, and a great power: his understanding is infinite.

Isaiah 40:28 Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

God is great and greatly to be praised!!! Sing praises to the Lord!

  28. Psalms 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.

God Knows our hearts and when it needs healing. He is always by our side. Thank you Jesus. God cares and loves us. He knows our every need. You can go before the Lord in prayer and talk to him. No pain is too big for God to heal.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.  -Psalm 34:18

    Thank you Jesus

  29. “Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭147:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord’s understanding is infinite which means we are never finished growing. Just as Aaron Adams said last night- even at 88 we still have to press into the Kingdom! I thank God He always has something for us to learn and that He will never cause our relationship with Him to become stagnant. I pray we continue to press in and seek Him first

  30. 2 The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

He is the God of restoration. Here is praised for rebuilding Jerusalem, and when a person fails does not mean that the Lord is finished with them. In His gracious ministry of restoring, He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds.

    A.L.N.A.S.

  31. 2-6 “…Our Lord is great, with limitless strength…” MSG

    Limitless. WOW!
We are blessed with the opportunity to serve the LIMITLESS LORD!

“…Those who fear God get God’s attention; they can depend on his strength…”

  32. 1 Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

2 The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

  33. “He takes no pleasure in the strength of a horse or in human might. No, the Lord’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭147:10-11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

What God takes pleasure in is the reverence and trust of His people. Those who find their hope in His mercy delight God, because they honor Him with their trust.

  34. Psalm 147

11 The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

This is a passage that has been expressed that we are to fear him and hope in His mercy. These phrases are in the word many times. I hope in his mercy and I do have a fear of My God. Many times I Have sinned and have disappointed Him. Jesus has shown his love

Let us look further in the word. The phrase fear him occurs in 87 verses in the KJV, including 25 exact phrases.

Deuteronomy 8:6 Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
Luke 1:50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.
Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

“hope” AND “in” AND “His” AND “mercy” occurs in 2 verses in the KJV, including 2 exact phrases shown first.
    Psalm 33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
Psalm 147:11 The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

  35. 3He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.

People are drawn to God. They want changes in their lives. They recognize they need God to mend problems they have suffered. God is here to heal and bless anyone who calls on him.

  36. 5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
6 The Lord lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.
7 Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

A good way to cast down the wicked is through prayer and praise. Praise the Lord for his mercy endures forever.

  37. Psalm 147:5 Great is our Lord, and of great power:his understanding is infinite.

Jesus knows everything. We as people cannot fathom all there is. God has great power in all matters. He made the heavens, stars, animals, mountains, water…everything. I look around in awe and I am amazed at the beauty God gave the earth. I don’t question God, often do not understand why some things happen, but all of this is in His big plan. I thank you Jesus for this day and I thank you for all you have done for me.

  38. 1 Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory. Psalms 98:1

God created us to worship Him. He doesn’t need us… but He wants us. He enjoys it when we spend our time worshipping Him for all the things He’s done!

  39. “He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭147:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“He sends peace across your nation and satisfies your hunger with the finest wheat.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭147:14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Our nation is hurting. Let us look to the hills where our help surely comes from. Our God will not fail us. Our cry’s and our prayers will not fall on death ears.

Be prayerful. May America not fall from the ways of the Lord but lean in closer as a church to the heart of God.

I am, Burdened about America’s future. Thinking about the path of immortality and sin this country will take, and the fight to conserve the rights of our founding fathers of life liberty and that sweet hard pursuit of happiness. Me knowing the signs of the end. And seeing them come to life. God sent Trump to uphold these truth and to defend the common American. And the world hates and attached him for standing up for morals and freedom. God will send revival to the hurt and worried. I’m thankful for the mercy he had these past few years. I’m ready for the future.

  40. 2 The Lord is rebuilding Jerusalem and bringing the exiles back to Israel. 3 He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.
13 For he has strengthened the bars of your gates and blessed your children within your walls.
    Psalms 147:2-3 & 13 NLT

As we go through many ups and downs in life, as we go through trials and battles let us never forget our praises to our one true God. We may not understand or comprehend why God is letting certain things in your life, why you have to face so many challenging things in life. As his children that is his way of making us stronger the Lord will not put us in a position that we cannot win in, God knows you and what you will be able to handle. Have faith in the Lord always never doubt him, for he is making you stronger, filling you with his spirit and wisdom. For he is growing you and fixing everything broken in your life and replacing it with his love, joy, peace and light.

  41. 7 Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

We should give thanks to the Lord everyday for waking us up that morning. Sing unto the Lord a new song.

  42. “He takes no pleasure in the strength of a horse or in human might. No, the Lord’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love.”

What is pleasing for God. What God want from us is love and a relationship with him. Fear the Lord with love, have faith in his word.

  43. Again we are told to praise the Lord. This chapter gives us many reason to praise Him. Yet beyond what He can do for us He is to be praise because of who He is. He is our everything and I count it a joy to be able to live in a country that I may freely praise Him

  44. 1 Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

7 Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

have you praised God today? There is one thing that we can rest assured he is pleased with; for us to praise him. We are told, suggested and also commanded to praise the Lord. This is also for our benefit. He inhabits the praises of His people. When you get his attention then you can ask of him. Let your petition or request be made known to him. Why not praise in advance for what you know He can do. That is faith.

  45. 7 Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

With a song in our heart at all times, we can praise the Lord continuously. When we sing unto the Lord, we put the enemy in his place. God will give you a song to sing a loud. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord.

  46. I think that this chapter was a friendly reminder on how amazing God is! He has done wonderful miracles and healings for all around! I shall forever lift up my voice and sing his praises! He is worthy of my all, bad I shall give him my all!

  47. “He counts the stars and calls them all by name.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭147:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God knows us before we are ever made He knows everyone by name and He loves us all. God knows our heart, He knows the need of our heart and will supply our need. Let us get to know God better, and let us get rid of our worldly desires and seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and build a relationship with Christ Jesus. Let us always desire to have a relationship with God forever until we are call up to meet Him.

  48. 6 The Lord lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.

    Psalm 119:71
It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

Meek in the old testament comes from the word anaw which means suffering, opressed, or afflicted. The attitude that comes from being afflicted is not always good, but when we see it in the light of God shaping us and molding us to what he wants us to be it causes us to be humble before him. God let us just trust you today, and not try to figure out what you are doing, because your ways are above our ways, and you always know what is best for us.

  49. Impressing God

Man is impressed by things like strength, beauty, and size. God isn’t impressed by these things. God created everything and he doesn’t just sit around and enjoy how much he made. What God enjoys is when the things he creates praises, worships, and glorifies him.

  50. 13 For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.

Do not let these children sleep O LORD!!! THAT THEY REMEMBER YOUR GOODNESS O JESUS!!! YOU AND ONLY YOU GIVE BLESSINGS, YOU LENT ME THESE CHIKDREN O LORD, BRING THEM BACK TO THEIR FIRST LOVE!!! O JESUS I PRAISE YOU AND I THANK YOU FOR THE PRODIGALS COMING HOME!!! IN JESUS NAME!!!

  51. 147:11 the lord taketh pleasure in those that fear him
In those that hope in his mercy.
    —-
    Hallelujah 🙌
My hope is in you, add all day long.
Guide Lord, guide me in your truth
And teach me, for you are my God
    My savior.
I lay me down and slept
And and now I am awake
    Because you sustained me.
Thou oh Lord, you are a shield to me
    You are y fortress
And the lifter of my head.
    Hallelujah 🙌
Blessed be the name of the lord!!!!

  52. 1 Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

2 The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

    The Message

    Hallelujah!
    It’s a good thing to sing praise to our God;
praise is beautiful, praise is fitting.

God’s the one who rebuilds Jerusalem,
    who regathers Israel’s scattered exiles.
    He heals the heartbroken
    and bandages their wounds.
    He counts the stars
    and assigns each a name.
    Our Lord is great, with limitless strength;
we’ll never comprehend what he knows and does.
God puts the fallen on their feet again
and pushes the wicked into the ditch.

I like that statement. He puts the fallen on their feet again and pushes the wicked into the ditch.
He lifts us and has our back even when it feels like He is nowhere to be found.

  53. 6 The Lord lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.
7 Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:
8 Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

I have gotten so frustrated before when someone from your job or a friend wants to tell you that you don’t get anywhere in life by being meek or passive. “. . . The Lord lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.” Especially if that coworker or friend is in church! Clearly you may not get ahead by the ideals of the world, but I will always have Jesus on my side.

  54. 4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

Gods people can feel secure in knowing that the Lord attends to every detail of his creation; he knows all that belongs to him. So if he knows the stars name how much more our names. He created us si got that He knows us very well inside and out! Don’t minimize Gods power!!

  55. 9 He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

If God can sorry about these little ones of his creation, how much more one of us?

One of the biggest issues we have with “trust”, especially when it relates to God, is what trust entails.

    Trust = Submission

If we are going to trust God, we have to submit to Him. We can’t say we trust and not summit.

I believe this is why we have such a hard time trusting, because it demands submission from us.
