Psalm 148

Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:

Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

10 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.

  1. 11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.

    PRAISE THE LORD!!!!
The Word says, that If He be lifted up, He will draw all men unto Himself. We don’t have to, He WILL. Here we see more specifically that we are to all praise Jesus. He even calls His praise from His people, the horn of His people. The horn used for battle crys. Our praise is a battle cry. Praise The Lord!!!

  3. Psalms 148
13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

Something about the Name of Jesus!
There is power in His Name!
Oh how I love the name of Jesus!
    He alone is excellent!

    Psalm 135:1
    Praise the Lord!
    Praise the name of the Lord;
Praise Him, O servants of the Lord,

    Psalm 135:3
    Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good;
Sing praises to His name, for it is lovely.

  4. 13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.

The massed choir is praising the name of the Lord as the name above every name and as the one whose glory is unsurpassable. And there is a particular theme in the song of the choir—they are magnifying the Lord for what He has done for Israel. He has raised up a horn for His people, that is, the messiah. In the second advent of the Lord Jesus, He has given special occasions for His saints to praise Him. The children of Israel, and you and I there at the front of the choir stand in a place of special nearest to Him. Through the restored nation, blessings follow out to all the world. That is why the choir is joining in one grand hallelujah“ praise the Lord!“

  5. “Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth: Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭148:11-13‬ ‭KJV

Hallelujah , praise, glory, and honor to you My LORD and SAVIOR!!!!!

When the church comes together as one through out our world, things will begin to change in the atmosphere, As we extol Him in all things!

“Hallelujah! Praise God in his holy house of worship, praise him under the open skies; Praise him for his acts of power, praise him for his magnificent greatness; Praise with a blast on the trumpet, praise by strumming soft strings; Praise him with castanets and dance, praise him with banjo and flute; Praise him with cymbals and a big bass drum, praise him with fiddles and mandolin. Let every living, breathing creature praise GOD! Hallelujah!”
    ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭150:1-6‬ ‭MSG‬‬

  6. Verses 13-14 AMP “Let them praise the name of the Lord, For His name alone is exalted and supreme; His glory and majesty are above earth and heaven. He has lifted up a horn for His people [giving them strength, prosperity, dignity, and preeminence], Praise for all His godly ones; For the people of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)”. This whole Psalm is captioned “The Whole Creation Invoked to Praise the Lord”. Invoke: call on in prayer, as a witness, or for inspiration. We are being called on, after all that is what we were created to do….Praise Him! In order to be truly near to Him, we have to purge (rid {someone or something} of an unwanted quality, condition, or feeling….Resist the Resistance and cut the head of that snake before it chokes the praise right out of you!

  7. 5 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

We will praise You God for Your excellent greatness, just for who You are, because it’s what we were created for, and because Your Word commands it – we will praise The Lord!!

  8. 13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

His name alone is excellent, can you remember being washed by his blood? Do you recall being buried in the water with the name of Jesus spoke over you? baptized with the holy ghost and fire and buried in the blood of Jesus his name is so powerful it washes away every sin. You can call on his name and it’ll deliver you from the chains of bondage. Jesus can do anything.

  9. Ps. 148 : 13-14 [ amp] Let’s them praise and exalt the name of the Lord , for His name alone is exalted and supreme! His glory and majesty are above earth and heaven!
[ 14] He has lifted up a horn for His people [ giving them power, prosperity, dignity, and preeminence]
A song of praise for all His godly ones, for the people of Israel, who are near to him.
Let everyone that has breath praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord ! Praise the Lord from the heavens! Praise him from the skies! Praise him, all his angels! Praise him, all the armies of heaven! Praise him, sun and moon! Praise him, all you twinkling stars! Praise him, skies above! Praise him, vapors high above the clouds! Let every created thing give praise to the Lord , for he issued his command, and they came into being. He set them in place forever and ever. His decree will never be revoked. Praise the Lord from the earth, you creatures of the ocean depths, fire and hail, snow and clouds, wind and weather that obey him, mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars, kings of the earth and all people, rulers and judges of the earth, Let them all praise the name of the Lord . For his name is very great; his glory towers over the earth and heaven!

  12. 13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

All who are living praise the Lord of Lord Jesus Christ! Who is creator of all we see and can’t see! From the highest to the lowest depth, Praise His Holy name!

  13. 13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

Something so pure and holy about this psalm, you can almost feel the joy that was felt when he was writing it. Just describing how his name alone is excellent and this worth praising. Just knowing who he is alone is worth praising and that’s without all the great things he has done for us. There is never a reason to not give glory and honor and praise to the King of Kings.

  14. 5 “Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.”
    ‭‭
God commanded and everything came into existence at the sound of His voice. Let everything that has breath praise the name of the Lord Jesus. There is power in the name of Jesus.

  15. 13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.

If we never learn to praise Him in the good times…. How can praise Him in the bad? Serving God is not always sunshine, rainbows and lollipops, sometimes it’s hard to raise your hands in praise when you’re walking through hell! He never promised that everyday would be glorious but He did promise that He would be there to help us raise our hands in praise to Him. We were made higher than the angels so that we could willing make the choice to serve Him!

  16. Psalms 148:13, “Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.”

“Praise the Name of the LORD, for His Name alone is Excellent”
Philippians 2:9-10 says, “9) Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10) That at the name of JESUS…

The name of JESUS is Excellent. It is awesome, beautiful, great, good, lovely, magnificent, marvelous, powerful, righteous, superior, supreme, wonderful, worthy, etc…
It’s in the name of JESUS that were are Saved; we are Baptized; we are Healed; we are Victorious; and so much more.

There’s a song entitled “What A Beautiful Name,” and some of the words that stood out to me were this… (because His Name is Excellent)…
What a beautiful name it is
What a beautiful name it is
The name of JESUS Christ my King
What a beautiful name it is
    Nothing else compares to this
What a beautiful name it is
    The name of JESUS

What a wonderful name it is
What a wonderful name it is
The name of JESUS Christ my King
What a wonderful name it is
    Nothing else compares to this
What a wonderful name it is
    The name of JESUS

    You have no rival
    You have no equal
Now and forever, God you reign
    Yours is the kingdom
    Yours is the glory
Yours is the name above all names

What a powerful name it is
What a powerful name it is
The name of JESUS Christ my King
What a powerful name it is
    Nothing can stand against
What a powerful name it is

Psa 148:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.
Psa 148:2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
Psa 148:3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
Psa 148:4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

The Psalmist here is brilliant. He takes all nature and all the supernatural and combines them into one thought. Think about it, the pagans worship the sun, moon, stars, and even fallen angels. The Psalmist flips the script and basically says, “All the things the pagans worship are subject to the Living God and these things will worship God Almighty.”

  19. 12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.

.Let us, then, who were the first to hope in Christ, praise God’s glory! And you also became God’s people when you heard the true message, the Good News that brought you salvation. Praise the Lord the maker of heaven and earth.

  20. “Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth: Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭148:11-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God has not respected person. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you look like all he wants is your praise. There are no pre requisites for being able to praise. Any and everybody can praise him. As long as you have breath in your body you ought to praise his name.

“Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭150:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  21. LIVE – GIVE JESUS2
    EVERYBODY PRAISE JESUS

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

We are frequently reminded in the BIBLE to Praise the Name of JESUS. Understanding that when this eternal WORD was recorded, the name of JESUS was yet unknown in the earth. But, the prophetic instruction was given to Praise the Name of The LORD, which we know to be JESUS.

This verse stirs up my FAITH in knowing that before JESUS was revealed to the world, the command was given that HIS Name is to be praised by EVERYBODY. Here is reason again to speak the Name of JESUS in every situation and circumstance. The Glory of JESUS is above the earth and heaven.

Say the Name JESUS, HE is Lord, HE is GOD, HE is Savior, HE is Father, HE is Holy Spirit, HE is Eternal, HE is Alive, HE is Healer, HE is Redeemer, HE is Wonderful, HE is Counsellor, HE The Mighty GOD, HE is The Prince of PEACE.

HIS Name is JESUS. Praise the Name of the LORD.

  22. 13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

One of the most important parts of worship is praising the Lord. Our prayers should not always be petitions. We should praise the Lord daily.

  23. LET ALL HIS CREATION PRAISE HIM FOR HE IS WORTHY OF ALL OF OUR PRAISE!!!!
It didn’t say if you feel like it, or if everything is going your way, or only in the good times, or only when others are watching. No!!! It just says to PRAISE HIM!!!! No matter what comes your way, it is just better to Praise Him like the song says “Hallelujah Anyhow”!!! Life is always going to be like a rollercoaster it is up to us to Praise Him in the valley as well as in the mountain top!!

  24. Psalm 148:13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

8:1 O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

Nothing in heaven above or on earth is left out in this Psalm, the entire universe Praises the Lord of Lord, King of Kings!!!

  25. “Let them all praise the name of the Lord. For his name is very great; his glory towers over the earth and heaven! He has made his people strong, honoring his faithful ones— the people of Israel who are close to him. Praise the Lord!”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭148:13-14‬ ‭NLT‬‬
Sing to the Lord; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭96:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬
    Let’s praise the lord today!!

  26. AMP – 13 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
    For His name alone is exalted and supreme;
His glory and majesty are above earth and heaven.
    14 He has lifted up a horn for His people [giving them strength, prosperity, dignity, and preeminence], Praise for all His godly ones;
For the people of Israel, a people near to Him.
    Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)

The Lord loves praise and in return for our praise, He has lifted a horn up for us – giving us strength, prosperity, dignity and preeminence. What an exchange, praise to Him in return for provision for us spiritually and physically.

I believe it’s good sometimes for us to take inventory of the blessings that God gives us in exchange for what we give Him. We would find that we lack for nothing. His provisions are always what we need. Oh we may want for something, but our needs are definitely meet. Every year at this time when preparing our taxes for uncle Sam, I recount the many ways the Lord has blessed us over the past year. Not only monetarily, taking care of our needs, but with health, strength, family, friends – all those things are blessings from the Lord and I don’t ever want to take that for granted.

    You’re All I Need – Hezekiah Walker

You’re all I need, every breath you breathe through me
You’re all I need, let the rivers flow through me
    You’re all I need

He said if I be lifted I’ll draw all men to me
You’re my closest friend, in you I live, have my being
I wanna draw closer (need to draw closer)
I wanna draw closer to thee, to theeOohI need you
    You’re all I need

  27. 13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

EXCELLENT!!! YES MY GOD IS EXCELLENT!!! I PRAISE YOU O LORD!!! THERE IS NOBODY LIKE YOU JESUS!!! HALELUJAH!!! GLORIOUS!!! YOU ARE GLORIOUS!!! MAJESTIC!!! YES YOU ARE MAJESTIC!!! ALMIGHTY!!! YES ALMIGHTY AND POWERFUL!!!

  28. 11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

The psalmist penned this entire psalm about God being praised. He is being praised by all of his magnificent creations. He is being praised not because of Him deserving, but because of the great fulness. We have an obligation to our God whom created everything and that has blessed us while here on this earth. Scripture states that the earth is his and the fullness there of. We have to be willing to show forth praises from a sincere heart and allow his glory fill our heart.

From the rising of the sun, to the going down of the same his name shall be praised. It is so crazy that people will scream and holler over a sporting event but will not praise and worship God. We have to get our priorities straight and put God first. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Let everything that has breath praise ye the Lord.

  29. Psalm 148

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

5 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

6 He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

7 Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:

8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

  30. 5 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

We know that name today-the name of Jesus.
Matt 28:18 “…All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”
And his name that is above every name: “…that at the mention of the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of those in heaven, those on earth and those under the earth and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of God the Father…”
We are privileged to know the name above all names Jesus! I praise your holy name!

  31. “Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights!”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭148:1‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Praise. Something that’s easy to overlook if we get caught up in our mind, in our job, in our families. But when we praise, peace is restored. I thank God He delights in our praise. I pray we never forget the power of our praise!

  32. 13 “Let them all praise the name of the Lord…”

I couldn’t help but feel I was reading a Dr. Seuss book this morning.

“You Can Praise Him in boat, You can Praise Him with a Goat
Praise Him in the Rain, or Praise Him on a Train
Praise Him in the House, Praise Him with a Mouse
Praise Him Here or There, Praise Him Anywhere”

Yet, that is how most individuals retain information. Repetitive. Hearing it over and over again.

I pray that as we LIVE Jesus, we don’t assume we’ve reached a graduated to a level that we don’t need reminders of the basics. It’s the basics that stabilized your foundation, to GIVE Jesus.

So Praise Him today, however you choose, just choose to Praise Him!

  33. “Let them praise the name of the LORD, For His name alone is exalted and supreme; His glory and majesty are above earth and heaven. He has lifted up a horn for His people [giving them strength, prosperity, dignity, and preeminence], Praise for all His godly ones; For the people of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise the LORD! (Hallelujah!)”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭148:13-14‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The name of the Lord is to be praised. For He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. By His spoken word was all things created. And all of creation praises Him.

  34. 13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

    The Message

Let them praise the name of God—
it’s the only Name worth praising.

It’s the only Name worth praising. I think that pretty much says it all.

  35. Where should I praise the Lord? Oh… everywhere! Haha thanks for the word Psalms!

I love that the word tells me to praise the Lord where ever I am!

  36. Psalm 148

11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

What do we say to our selves as we place our feet on the floor; O Lord! It’s morning! It seem as we wake we are ordering our day with our thoughts and mouths.

Remember Psalm 118:24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Let us start our days with thank you for this day because we will walk together and you have ordered our days. Lord allow us to walk in your foot prints. I Praise you Jesus ;for you are my God, my King, my Savior, and my Lord. Let us walk with you this day as you are our companion.

  37. 1 Praise ye the Lord.

Praise Him as the sun rises and as the sun goes down.

Praise Him when everything is going right and when everything seems to be going wrong.

Praise Him in the sanctuary and praise praise Him in your home.

There is never a wrong time to praise Him!

  38. 2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

5 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

Having a good day? Praise the Lord.

Having a bad day? Praise the Lord.

God sees when we have our bad days and praise Him anyway! He blesses those who shout when they feel defeated!

  39. Psalms 148:2>5″ Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts:
Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heaven.
Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.”P

Praise is obviously the key word here. We must praise the one who gives us hope, love, forgiveness, and righteousness. We are nothing without Jesus.

“Praise the LORD, my soul and forget not all his benefits- who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103:2>5

  40. 5 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

There are so many people that believe that an act of sprinkling water on them will save their souls from eternal torment, but in fact it is not the water that saves a soul but it is the name that is applied to one that is the saving factor. If you go down without applying the name of Jesus you just got wet but if you apply that healing and saving name your sin is washed away. The name of Jesus will always save, will always heal, and it will never change!!!

  41. 13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

God is just too amazing not to praise Him. We are surrounded daily by the elements of his creation. The sun, the moon, stars, the wind, water and fire are all in existence today because of God. The birds chirping is doing what God designed them to do and in turn that is how they praise the Lord. In fact everyone that has breath should praise the Lord because without Him their would be no breath in their lungs. He wants us to use what he has given us in order to praise Him. If we don’t do praise or glorify God then the rocks will cry out. We should not allow ourselves to get to the point that we’d allow rocks to praise God before we do. Never gonna let a rock cry out in my place.

  42. There are so many people that believe that an act of sprinkling water on them will save their souls from eternal torment, but in fact it is not the water it is the Jesus in you

  43. 13 Let them all praise the name of the Lord. For his name is very great; his glory towers over the earth and heaven! 14 He has made his people strong, honoring his faithful ones— the people of Israel who are close to him. Praise the Lord!
    Psalms 148:13-14 NLT

“If the stars were made to worship so will I!” As the children of the Lord, let us come together as one and lift him up in praises for he is worthy of it all. He has never failed and kept each of his promises to us. The Lord has raised us up from the wickedness in this world, he saved us from our troubles and all of our sins. Give your all to the Lord for he deserves it, be faithful and obey everything he says. Never doubt, never second guess the Lord, for he is the one true God and he has blessed us an saved us in so many ways.

  44. 13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

The enemy can’t stand when we praise the name of Jesus. This puts him in a rage because he knows what praise means. It means power and authority. He understands what happens when you know how to use your praise as a weapon. He cannot get to you because of the power of the Lord. Let your praise be heard and take your authority over the enemy.

  45. Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

    Praise him I’m the good
    Praise him in the bad
I will never let a rock out praise me nor the sun and moon not even the stars!!

  47. 14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.

The horn was what was used to declare that relief or salvation had shown up to the battle. Praise the Lord, God of my Salvation!!!

  48. “Let them all praise the name of the Lord. For his name is very great; his glory towers over the earth and heaven!”
    Psalms 148:13 NLT

Let all of God’s creations praise the Lord for He is worthy of the glory. Continually praising Jesus in the good days and the bad days. Let’s praise Him for He is worthy regardless of the situation. Let our praises never be silent for our praise are our weapon against the agenda of the enemy. No matter what challenges come at you sing praises to God for greater is He that is in you than in the world. He will keep you safe and will never forsake you, I will bless His name forever.

  49. In this chapter I think that it was trying to tell us taut we should praise him no matter what we are going through! We might be going through more than we can imagine, but he still deserves our praise. When we go through tough times that is when we praise like we never praise before! He deserves our praise pofw so let us give him our whole heart and praise him!

  50. 9 Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

10 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

If the rocks and the mountains are to praise Him then I am to praise Him. Praise Him in the highs and lows, praise Him everyday.

  51. 14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.

My husband and children are the closets people to me. Not everyone likes hugs and cuddles oh but I do. There’s nothing like your spouse or child to willingly cuddle next to you and lay on your singing praises to you.

This is what the psalmist is relaying. The people that are closest to God will not fail to praise Him. Their actions , words, and deeds will praise Him so willingly that He will respond back to them with favor and blessings.

  52. The most asked question at the alter…..

14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.

We ask, What can I help you pray about?

Answer: I want to be closer to God.

Gods answer: open your mouth and praise me

  53. Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

It seems pretty simple. A no brainer right? Simply put just praise the Lord. Yet we see how many times and how often we are told to praise Him. Its almost as if its a constant battle with the human will. Praise him in advance. Praise him in your trial, praise him for the victory. Praise him before the victory. Praise Him in your darkest hour. Praise Him for his goodness. Praise him all creation. Praise him all that has breath. And yet it seems to be harder that one can believe. Nonetheless, we see it time and time again when in church gatherings or similar events. “oh that men would praise the Lord.” I dont think its because they flat out do not want to.. Bur rather because they are bound. Bound by the sin, deception, things of this world. God is the only liberator. Some are bound by doctrine or false beliefs or a spirit of religion. We can do our part and pray for chains to be broken, then encourage those to take action. Motivate them to praise. Show by example the liberating freedom of praising God. It is the Lord himself the only one that can break yokes. I didn’t use to praise the way i do. Yet i was challenged and encouraged to step out of the box. To step out of my same praise and prayer. And God destroyed years of yokes and slowly but surely I took one step, then one jump and one shout for the glory on Him who saved me. The truth of the fact is, that we are the ones that benefit greatly when we praise Him. You begin to feel a liberty. You taste what freedom really is like. And when you begin to see all that he has and continues to do for you, all you can do is but dance before his presence. A joyful demonstration that He is great! May all the glory, honor, dominion and power be to our Lord Jesus!!!

  54. I agree with “open your mouth and praise me” . As a child I was taught Jesus loves me and Jesus Loves the little Children. What a way to start your child’s life!

  55. 1 Praise ye the Lord.

I am pretty sure that Dr. Suess pulled his inspiration for “Green Eggs and Ham” from these scriptures. When reading this, in case you haven’t noticed, you can praise his name anywhere you go!! You can praise him at great heights and the lowest lows, in any type of weather conditions, with all different animals, we can praise him in any circumstance and without limits!! For He is great and mighty without limits!!

  56. “Let every created thing give praise to the Lord, for he issued his command, and they came into being.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭148:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord he is the king of kings in the Lord of Lords. We praise you for the birds that fly in the air for the water that falls from the sky.

  57. 5Let every created thing give praise to the LORD, for he issued his command, and they came into being.

Yes, God created all, so all can give him praise. The living to the un-living, everything shall give God praise. From the youngest to the oldest, all shall give him praise.

  58. Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

This psalm calls for the whole created order to praise the Lord because he has honored his faithful people. People would View different gods as having control over separate aspects of nature. The Lord however, reigns sovereign over all natural phenomenal. All the parts of creation are his servants, bringing praise to Him through their obedience. No matter of age, gender, race, we are to praise Him. Praise the Lord! Amen!!

  59. 5 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

6 He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

This is an attribute only God has. He is the Creator. Creation is proof of a Creator. Harmony we find in creation, from the ecosystems, to the solar system, biology, and everything that still we have not even discover, intrigues mankind because of its complexity.

    Psalm 14:1
The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds; there is none who does good.
