2 Kings 7

Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.

Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?

If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.

And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.

For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.

Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.

And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.

Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.

10 So they came and called unto the porter of the city: and they told them, saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but horses tied, and asses tied, and the tents as they were.

11 And he called the porters; and they told it to the king’s house within.

12 And the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now shew you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we be hungry; therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city.

13 And one of his servants answered and said, Let some take, I pray thee, five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city, (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as all the multitude of the Israelites that are consumed:) and let us send and see.

14 They took therefore two chariot horses; and the king sent after the host of the Syrians, saying, Go and see.

15 And they went after them unto Jordan: and, lo, all the way was full of garments and vessels, which the Syrians had cast away in their haste. And the messengers returned, and told the king.

16 And the people went out, and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the Lord.

17 And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came down to him.

18 And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria:

19 And that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the Lordshould make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

20 And so it fell out unto him: for the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died.

  1. Verse 9 MSG “Finally they said to one another, “We shouldn’t be doing this! This is a day of good news and we’re making it into a private party! If we wait around until morning we’ll get caught and punished. Come on! Let’s go tell the news to the king’s palace!” James 4:17 AMP says “So any person who knows what is right to do but does not do it, to him it is sin.” Romans 12:21 AMP “Do not be overcome and conquered by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Our Proverb for today says in verse 3 AMP “A prudent and far-sighted person sees the evil [of sin] and hides himself [from it], But the naive continue on and are punished [by suffering the consequences of sin].”

Verses 18-20 MSG “Every word of the Holy Man to the king—“A handful of meal for a shekel, two handfuls of grain for a shekel this time tomorrow in the gate of Samaria,” with the attendant’s sarcastic reply to the Holy Man, “You expect us to believe that? Trapdoors opening in the sky and food tumbling out?” followed by the response, “You’ll watch it with your own eyes, but you won’t eat so much as a mouthful”—proved true. The final stroke came when the people trampled the man to death at the city gate. God’s word is truth……as the end of verse 16 MSG says “…..God’s word to the letter!”

  2. 1. Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.

This man mocked the idea that God can do ANYTHING – and paid the price for it!

God caused every one of the Syrians that were camped right outside the city to hear not just one but two armies marching against them while the lepers that were also outside the city never heard it, and the people inside the city never heard it…that lets us know that God can do whatever it takes to meet our needs, even creating and manipulating sound waves to create an atmosphere of sheer panic.

    The atmosphere is changing now
For the Spirit of the Lord is here
    The evidence is all around
That the Spirit of the Lord is here

    A miracle can happen now
For the Spirit of the Lord is here
    The evidence is all around

Ok, so it’s a man of God Saying it
And he is making it clear that it’s a word from the Lord that must be delivered..
So wasn’t the respond suppose to be , AMEN! Right away?
But it wasn’t, someone questioned what the man of God said.
Like last night night when Pastor Watts said
“ anything can happen” right now….
Did e we all say amen? Or did we say, yes but…
Hallelujah, I believe faith was restored last night
And we are able to answer Yes!!! Anything can happen.
👉🏼 Agree and believe the word that is being delivered.
    Hay🙌
Blessed be the name of the Lord.

It’s not about our plan, it’s about his plan.. Our God has the last word. I am healed, I am an Evangelist, I am Anointed!
Thank you, Jesus for this beautiful day to wake up and praise you.

  5. 6 For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.
7 Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.

Let us never forget the God that we serve. When things get stacked against us or we are outnumbered at any given moment God can turn the enemy against itself or cause them to flee when no one is chasing them. That’s how victorious God is.

  6. The king’s officer had replied, “That couldn’t happen even if the Lord opened the windows of heaven!” And the man of God had said, “You will see it happen with your own eyes, but you won’t be able to eat any of it!”
    2 Kings 7:19 NLT

    https://bible.com/bible/116/2ki.7.19.NLT

The Bible is very black and white about unbelief. You’re always given (usually multiple) opportunities to exercise even a small about of belief, cultivating that into faith. But so many are instantly cut off and even destroyed because of their unbelief. This king was watching his kingdom die off to a forced famine. He was lost and broken. In his despair he lost his belief in what God could do, or even the words of his man of God became meaningless.

  7. 6 For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.

The Lord is our shield and He is what we need to trust in when our situation becomes insurmountable. Trusting the Lord needs to be consistent, even when we can forsee our own efforts as adequate because He is the one that has allowed us to move and have our being.

  8. LIVE – GIVE JESUS2
MAKE A MOVE, WHAT DO WE HAVE TO LOSE

3 And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?
4 If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.
5 And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.

The adversary makes every attempt to make us feel like outcasts such as these hopeless, unclean lepers. However, as we all know and see here again. GOD can use anyone willing to MAKE A MOVE for the good of HIS people.

If the lepers would not have MADE A MOVE the provision would have been missed. We don’t know what GOD is arranging on the other side of our obedience.

ANYTHING is on the other side of our OBEDIENCE

GO ahead MAKE A MOVE, WHAT DO WE HAVE TO LOSE. The lepers were hungry anyway, why not MAKE A MOVE and see what JESUS is doing or will do for us.

  9. the man died cause the people ran over him. the day before that a man of god talked to him and he was in denial…

    “Risk it for the Biscuit”

2Ki 7:4 If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.

This is the same attitude the church needs to have as the EndTime approaches. We need to be ready to lose our lives for the gospel. As long as I can remember, folks have been talking about the mark of the beast was coming on the horizon and how you had better not take it. For years people’s responses was a definite “No, aint no way Imma taking that there mark!” But then covid strikes and 1% death rate looms over the church and folks are all the sudden scared to come to church. Many folks became leprous and held them selves in extended quarantine, while others are starving to death in the famine of the Word.

We gotta have the attitude of these men here and make up our mind that it would be better to die than to starve to death spiritually. If we can’t risk it for the biscuit (bread of life) today with covid, then when the beast threatens to take our lives we will take the mark and be lost eternally.

  11. Who will we give Jesus to today? Will we live Jesus today? We have to pray everyday for someone to give Jesus to!

  12. 18-20 Every word of the Holy Man to the king—“A handful of meal for a shekel, two handfuls of grain for a shekel this time tomorrow in the gate of Samaria,” with the attendant’s sarcastic reply to the Holy Man, “You expect us to believe that?

It is time to believe God can do anything!
The King did not get to even partake of the blessing because of his doubt.
Lord Jesus I believe You can do anything!
    No limit to your Anything!

  13. 3 And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?

4 If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.

It’s time to change your circumstances-

We can sit in the midst of our circumstances that may or may not be fault, but there comes a time that many will sit in the midst and become comfortable. They will sit there comfortably and begin to stagnate and die. We have to overcome the possibility that we dwell on the what could have been, what should have been, and the what would have been. We can not sit around and point fingers and place blame. It is time for us to change our circumstances even when the result of death is attached. The leprous men decided that it was time to change even the way they were going to die. Either starve to death or be taken by the enemy and possibly have food before they die.

The modern day church has brought to many circumstances that many try to change the word of God to justify the means and the results end in disaster. It is time for the church to stand up and be counted as the word of God is our foundation. We will have the greatest opportunity to prove the nay sayers and doubters with the word of God. It is us to each of us to change our outcome. Let God arise and every enemy be scattered.

  14. 2 Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

Doubting when the Word of God goes forth is dangerous. We must build up our faith so that when the Word does go forth we can be in agreement. I believe had the man not had enough faith but kept his mouth shut, he would have seen come to pass what the prophet said, and it would have increased his faith. But instead he answered with sarcasm, mocking what the prophet said. When we find ourselves that that sarcastic attitude and disbelief is present, we need to find ourselves at an altar of repentance, so that we don’t cut ourselves off from what God wants to do and wants us to be partaker in.

  15. 9 Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.

The memorable words of the lepers” we are not doing right. This day is a day of good news and we remain silent” are a constant challenge to those of us who are entrusted with the gospel of redeeming grace.

  16. “Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.

And the people went out, and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the Lord.”
    ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭7:1, 16

One sure thing that we can count on and that is the Word of the Lord. He’s Word is out foundation. His Word is Truth!

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭17:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  17. 2 Kings 7:16
Then the people of Samaria rushed out and plundered the Aramean camp. So it was true that six quarts of choice flour were sold that day for one piece of silver, and twelve quarts of barley grain were sold for one piece of silver, just as the lord had promised.

    Psalms 145:13
For your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. You rule throughout all generations. The lord always keeps his promises; he is gracious in all he does.

    Thank you Jesus

  18. the bible has you take into account your own interpretation. so belief and unbelief are completely up to the reader. that, to me, is very interesting.

  19. “Finally, they said to each other, “This is not right. This is a day of good news, and we aren’t sharing it with anyone! If we wait until morning, some calamity will certainly fall upon us. Come on, let’s go back and tell the people at the palace.””
    ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭7:9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The lepers were enjoying the good things God had given them. But they soon realized that with the gift God had given them came the responsibility to share it with others. It would be selfish to keep it to themselves.

Our “good news” is the gospel. When Jesus gifted us with the beautiful gift of the Holy Ghost, it also came with the responsibility to share it with others. It would be selfish of us to keep it for ourselves and never share with those in need.

“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”
    ‭‭James‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.”
    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭9:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  20. “The king appointed his officer to control the traffic at the gate, but he was knocked down and trampled to death as the people rushed out. So everything happened exactly as the man of God had predicted when the king came to his house. The man of God had said to the king, “By this time tomorrow in the markets of Samaria, six quarts of choice flour will cost one piece of silver, and twelve quarts of barley grain will cost one piece of silver.” The king’s officer had replied, “That couldn’t happen even if the Lord opened the windows of heaven!” And the man of God had said, “You will see it happen with your own eyes, but you won’t be able to eat any of it!””
    ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭7:17-19‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When you’re that in tune with the Lord there’s no element of surprise. If God is using that someone for miracle signs and wonders, there’s nothing that can be done to him until his appointed time to die. When i hear certain things and start getting a little doubt in me i just start thinking about the prophetic words that have been spoke and immediately it lifts my faith because i know no matter what is said by the enemy that there is still a prophetic word to be fulfilled and GOD does not LIE!

  21. 17 “…So everything happened exactly as the man of God had predicted when the king came to his house”

Who will you trust if not the Man of God?

    Things of this world?
The ones that tell what you want to hear?
The ones that sell you corruption for their profit?

There are a lot of things in this world that people want to whole heartedly trust. Horoscopes, Idol gods, and even their own flesh over the Man of God anointed to be in your life.

All of which will let you down, fail, and never give you the purpose of living like Living for Jesus can give. I pray we evaluate who we choose to trust today.

  22. 2 Kings Chapter 7

As I have read this chapter. I see the provision of God and the destruction of a king as it was spoken by the prophet. May we be blessed this day as we look toward the Jesus in our lives as the provider.

  23. 19 And that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the Lordshould make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

UNBELIEVE and doubt will keep us from the greatest blessings. Be firm in your Faith, stand fast with Jesus, claim it and proclaim Him in all the Land, and see when eyes will be open, and bodies will be healed, and 3,000 souls will be added in Jesus Name Amen 🙏🏻

  24. 8When the men with leprosy arrived at the edge of the camp, they went into one tent after another, eating and drinking wine; and they carried off silver and gold and clothing and hid it. 9Finally, they said to each other, “This is not right. This is a day of good news, and we aren’t sharing it with anyone! If we wait until morning, some calamity will certainly fall upon us. Come on, let’s go back and tell the people at the palace.”

The lepers were blessed, and didnt realized until they had to much. God will bless you abundantly in many ways. Don’t feel guilty if you are blessed by more than you were expecting, say thank you Jesus!

  25. “The king’s officer had replied, “That couldn’t happen even if the Lord opened the windows of heaven!” And the man of God had said, “You will see it happen with your own eyes, but you won’t be able to eat any of it!””
    ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭7:19‬ ‭NLT‬‬

What can happen when the windows of heaven are open – ANY THING!! The Samarians were hurting, hungry and desperate and God made a way no one else could ever imagine. The Syrians heard the sound of a great army and fled. God then allowed some lepers to stumble upon all that the Syrian army left behind and in return all of Samaria was blessed.

    WOW – just, Wow.

We serve an amazing God with avenues we could never imagine. I pray we go today in confidence knowing that God can do ANY THING

  26. The king’s officer had replied, “That couldn’t happen even if the Lord opened the windows of heaven!” And the man of God had said, “You will see it happen with your own eyes, but you won’t be able to eat any of it!” And so it was, for the people trampled him to death at the gate!
    2 Kings 7:19‭-‬20 NLT

Do not doubt what the man of God says. What God says is true and powerful. His Word will always come to pass!

  27. 2 Kings 7:8-9 (NLT)
    8) When the men with leprosy arrived at the edge of the camp, they went into one tent after another, eating and drinking wine; and they carried off silver and gold and clothing and hid it.
    9) Finally, they said to each other, This is not right. This is a day of good news, and we aren’t sharing it with anyone! If we wait until morning, some calamity will certainly fall upon us. Come on, let’s go back and tell the people at the palace.

The lepers ate and drank and carried off silver, gold, and clothing and “hid it.”
Then they said, This is not right. This is a day of “Good News,” and “we aren’t sharing it with anyone.” So they went back and told the people.

This is a day of “Good News.” The Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. “Good News” of people being Saved. “Good News” of people being healed. “Good News” that our God can do ANYTHING. BUT who are we sharing it with? Are we “hiding it?”
2 Cor. 4:3 says, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:”
Let’s not “hide it,” but Come On, Let’s Go Share It with the people of Fort Worth.

Remember: You are an Evangelist! You are Anointed!!

  28. “Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered ythe man of God, and said, Behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.”
    2 Kings 7:2
“And the lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the Lordshould make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof. And so it fell out unto him: for the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died.
    2 Kings 7:19>20

What God says will always come to pass. Stay righteous with God so Heaven will be your end result, not hell.
Thank you Jesus for this day.

  29. “And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came down to him. And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria: And that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the Lord should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof. And so it fell out unto him: for the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died.”
    ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭7:17-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It is a dangerous thing to speak against God’s anointed. This servant found that out, by paying with his life. He saw this with his eyes and had time to regret it. He died, before he ate of the food.

  30. 6 “For the Lord had caused the army of the Syrians to hear the noise of chariots and the noise of horses—the noise of a great army; so they said to one another, “Look, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians to attack us!””
    ‭‭
“So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “ LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”
    ‭‭II Kings‬ ‭6:16-17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

  31. vs. 1-2 Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD: Thus saith the LORD, Tommorow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.
Then a LORD on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shal see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat of it.

Jesus is infinite without limit, endless, boundless in His authority. Every relm yielded to His words as He quieted the sea, withered the fig tree, and manifested His power over the natural elements. Demons cowered at His command, disease subsided at His touch .
His words during the Sermon on the Mount revealed that
HE IS THE CHRIST, and we can believe on Him because of His words.

Faith in God, receiving God`s Spirit, being joyous, having the right attitude and experiencing the peace of God should all be present in our lives.

God`s love for us motivates Him to provide for us whatever is best.

  32. 9 Finally, they said to each other, “This is not right. This is a day of good news, and we aren’t sharing it with anyone! If we wait until the morning, some calamity will certainly fall upon us. Come on, let’s go back and tell the people at the palace.”
    2 Kings 7:9 NLT

Soon the lepers came to realization that when God gave them a gift they needed to go spread the good news, not just keep it for themselves which was not fair to others. See God brought us here for us to spread the good news just like that. It is not fair for us to know the truth the word of the Lord, knowing there are so many people lost in the world needing salvation needing help since their lost in fear, shame, darkness. We are the children of the Lord he is believing and trusting us that we go out there spreading the word reaching the lost, we were anointed to reach out to them and help save them bring them back to the Lord and his peace. Let us gather together as one and go reach the lost souls!

  33. The king got out of bed in the middle of the night and told his officers, “I know what has happened. The Arameans know we are starving, so they have left their camp and have hidden in the fields. They are expecting us to leave the city, and then they will take us alive and capture the city.” One of his officers replied, “We had better send out scouts to check into this. Let them take five of the remaining horses. If something happens to them, it will be no worse than if they stay here and die with the rest of us.”
    2 Kings 7:12‭-‬13 NLT

Sometimes, people’s situations become so bad for so long that they dont receive or believe the good news. It seems to good to be true. The king thought no it’s just a trap from the enemy. Yet here we see a scenario repeated twice in the same chapter. What have I got to loose?? First by the 4 leprous men which said if we stay here we die. If we go we might get killed, but who knows maybe anything can happen right?? Just a little but of faith can move you into a realm where God can do anything. You dont know what God is working when you can’t see. And yes at times the same people of God get discouraged, but thanks be to God for someone who can say why do you go anyways? What have you got to loose? Believe God again, encourage yourself and go again, go to the Altar, go praise again, go move. The important thing is to take action. The word was already sent by God through the man of God. So go again and mix your faith with the word and move.

  34. “The king’s officer had replied, “That couldn’t happen even if the Lord opened the windows of heaven!” And the man of God had said, “You will see it happen with your own eyes, but you won’t be able to eat any of it!” And so it was, for the people trampled him to death at the gate!”
    ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭7:19-20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The officer did not have faith which caused him to not have the blessing of the town. As us Christians we need to have faith that there will be revival. We can’t not lose this blessing/promise because we need to be strong, bold, and loving in these last days. Revival is coming have faith!

  35. 4 If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also.

Often during our darkest times, we are being set up for some of our greatest victories…

  36. 6 For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.

God will take care of his people. Even when the situation seems impossible, God know exactly what to do. The enemy cannot over power the word of God. In order for him to lead you astray, you have to give him access. God has given his people complete power over the things of this world. We must walk in victory daily. Don’t let the trials of life take you away from what God has for you.

  37. “Then they said one to another, “We are not doing the right thing. This is a day of good news, yet we are keeping silent. If we wait until the morning light, some punishment [for not reporting this now] will come on us. So now come, let us go and tell the king’s household.””
    ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭7:9‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Don’t be selfish in the gift that god gives you. Use your gift for his glory to minister unto people and to bless others. We can’t be selfish when it comes to our gifts and keep them to ourselves. We also can’t take the gifts god gives us and use them for our own glory because just as quick as god gave it to you he can take it away. We must humble ourselves unto him and ensure that we are using our gifts for his kingdom.

  38. 4 If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.

This verse really stuck out to me because it reminded me about the end times. Everyone will live their eternity somewhere, weather that is in heaven or hell. We should chose to do right because we know who we stand for! I am not my own, but I am His! We are all Gods people, but we have our own flesh. Our flesh may sometimes come in between us and God. We can not let this happen. All I want is for me to give Him my all! Everyday I take a moment and realize who saved me, and I’m so grateful for that! I pray tonight that we are all giving Him our all!!!

  39. 4 If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.

Giving up is not an option!!! It is better to die fighting than not fighting and die anyways.

  40. So many Christians walk around with little faith. They’ll experience God do miracles signs and wonders. But still doubt their own situation.

  41. To be there is to be blessed

These lepers prove something very prevalent in, not only the Kingdom of God, but in all aspects of life. You have to be there to be blessed. You have to be there to receive. This online church thing has taken away something that cannot be replaced by anything else, being there. I was in vcation last week and I had a very good time. It was very relaxing and fun. But something just felt dry in my spirit. When I walked back in those doors on Sunday morning I was reintroduced to the power of “ being there”. You cannot replace it with anything else and nothing will ever compare. I want to be present and accounted for when God lays out his blessings for me to take hold of. What if that one service was “the service” and you missed it? I chose to be there.

  42. Make a Move

Let’s be honest with our self’s “it is appointed h to man once to die and after that judgement” (Hebrews 9:27) It would be ridiculous to live life in a bubble to prevent the inevitable when God is calling us to go in faith. He is leading us to the miraculous which is something He does when we step out on crazy faith.

Let’s not be the slothful man and sit and die but get out there and make a move and watch God send your enemies backing because they thought they heard a sound.

Ever been in the dark or maybe in a light room and thought you heard a sound and went running only to find out it was nothing. I know I have and in the end I laugh at my self and never tell a soul what happened. I can just see this army running scared over nothing. God said Boo and they went tail tucked running home to their mother. Hahahahaha

  43. 8 And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.
9 Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.

There are people around us who are hungry for the word, for the miracles and the presence of the mighty God. We must share with others what God is doing so that they know where to find him. Lead them to Him by example.

  44. 19 And that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the Lordshould make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
20 And so it fell out unto him: for the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died.

Your days could be full and plenty of your days could be numbered. . . It all depends upon your actions and faith in God. Which path will you choose today? And everyday after that?? It’s up to you and your actions?
