Isaiah 1

The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.

Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.

Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.

And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.

Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

10 Hear the word of the Lord, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.

11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

12 When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?

13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.

14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.

15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;

17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.

22 Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water:

23 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.

24 Therefore saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:

25 And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:

26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.

27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.

28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the Lordshall be consumed.

29 For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen.

30 For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water.

31 And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.

  1. 16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;

17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

They go through the motions without emotion. How many churches are full of people that just go through the motions of being a Christian of Name alone. No actions to go with the faith, no love to go with the word. Just empty motions of rituals and routines that religion. You can sacrifice all the herds in the world but if there is no repentance with it, it just got burned like a barbecue. You can fast for days but if there is no prayer, not sacrifice you are just on a diet. Where is the LOVE!!!! Where is the SUBMISSION???? Where is the OBEDIENCE???? I watch the news and wonder how much longer before our BRIDEGROOM returns.
You can not go through life faking to be a Christian, it has to be exhausting your true colors will come out sooner or later. Stop hating and start loving.
Matthew 23: 14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

  2. 2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

The whole universe is summit to attend a trial with God as the judge, and Fathers and pastors as defendants for children that had gone astray.

  3. Verses 15-17 NIV “When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood! Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed.[a] Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.” In the AMP version this portion of verses is captioned “God Has Had Enough”, oh what a sad place to be when you don’t heed the warning and God feels this way toward your evildoing. Like Pastor said last night, there is no more patty caking time…..we have to make a decision and choose to do right, while we have the chance. LIVE-GIVE JESUS²

  4. 19. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

    20. But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

God had finally had enough of their shenanigans and drew the line – either be good and eat the good of the land or be bad and get devoured, but make up your mind and get off the fence!

    Joshua 24:15
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

  5. Isaiah 1: 18- 19 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord; through our sins be as scarlet , they shall be as white as snow; through they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
    (19) If ye be willing and obeinant, ye shall eat the good of the land.
2 Chron 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name , shall humble themselves, and pray , and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Nothing but the blood of Jesus can wash us clean.
Lord I willing to do what ever it takes to please you and serve you .
    Thank you for the blood.
    Live Jesus!
    Give Jesus.

  6. 18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

Thank God for the blood!! He deserves all our praise! Today Lord, let us be willing and obedient vessels you can use!

  7. 18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

This chapter is describing the effects of sin and wickedness in the children of Israel. How the sun has cause a nation to be pummeled into almost nothing and the effects of sun to the body causing wounds that have not healed. But Isaiah describes a way that if they reason together unto the Lord and basically turn from their current ways, even though the signs of sin will be present they will be cleansed made white as snow.

The greatest thing that any one has with concerning their future is that God doesn’t want to see anyone perish, but given the opportunity to turn from their ways and get forgiven for their sin. We have that ability when we fall, we have to get back up and come boldly unto the throne of grace and mercy and we will find a God who is full of mercy when we humble ourselves before him. That is why it is so important to have a prayer life and that God knows who you are. But overall it is a choice we each must make.

  8. “Even an ox knows its owner, and a donkey recognizes its master’s care— but Israel doesn’t know its master. My people don’t recognize my care for them.” Oh, what a sinful nation they are— loaded down with a burden of guilt. They are evil people, corrupt children who have rejected the Lord. They have despised the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him.”

    PAY ATTENTION
America this beautiful country that I love. If we don’t pay attention then we will be like Isreal… we turning like Isreal. Fall away deeper and deeper from. Neglecting the wisdom and salvation that he has gifted to us. We must teach our children truth. Or they will live their lives in evil. And God will turn from them. Help us JESUS

  9. 1:19 of us be willing and obedient
Ye shall eat the good of the land.
    ——
    And that’s is the problem.
Don’t want to hear it, don’t want to do it.
    🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Pretty much have a made up mind.
Well, God has also determined something….
    … mercy!!!🙏

  10. The scriptures are plain and honest. We must turn from sin and seek God and walk with him always. This is the only way to Heaven to see Jesus. Oh how I want to see Jesus. I love POFW

  11. 13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.

It’s not our worship and it’s not our ability to give in the offering, it’s not the celebrations of the traditions nor is it being a part of the ministry that pleases God itself, it is the heart and the lifestyle that a person lives in accordance and obedience to the word and the will of God. God is not as much concern with our traditions in the church as he is our heart and our longing for intimacy with him. A heart can be very deceptively wicked and we need to guard it from being hardened or blemished from the things of this world

  12. 24 Therefore saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:

The ones who give in to dark will be wiped clean but if they were to turn away from what they were doing , they will be forgiven.

  13. 13 “Bring no more futile sacrifices; Incense is an abomination to Me. The New Moons, the Sabbaths, and the calling of assemblies— I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting.
15 When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.”

God cannot tolerate when people profess to believe a certain way but their actions prove to be different . Actions speak louder than words.

““Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Get your evil deeds out of My sight. Stop doing evil, Learn to do good. Seek justice, Rebuke the ruthless, Defend the fatherless, Plead for the [rights of the] widow [in court].”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭1:16-17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

  14. Listen, O heavens! Pay attention, earth! This is what the Lord says: “The children I raised and cared for have rebelled against me. Even an ox knows its owner, and a donkey recognizes its master’s care— but Israel doesn’t know its master. My people don’t recognize my care for them.””
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭1:2-3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Our land could take a warning from this. We need to repent as a nation, as well as individuals for the rampant sin in America. We belong to Jesus Christ. He paid for us with His precious blood on Calvary.

  15. LIVE-GIVE JESUS2
    COME TO JESUS

18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

The BIG lie from the devil is that once we sin then GOD is against us, doesn’t love us or will hurt us. We know this to be a lie because of the LOVE invitation in this verse.

JESUS wants to WORK it OUT with and for us to be in covenant relationship with HIM. JESUS tells us in advance what will happen when we COME TO JESUS. HE will cleanse us, forgive us and restore us.

We have an open invitation to COME TO JESUS with our cares, concerns and confessions. With a promise of correction, instruction and redemption.

To LIVE JESUS we must COME to JESUS

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iLive
    iGive
    iReap
    iGo

  16. 2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.

America is fast becoming like the sinful state Israel finds herself in this Era. Everyone following what they consider to be right without heeding God and his word-doing their own thing. The church must be a beacon of bright light to show and lead souls back to the Bible and God’s ways. Live Jesus and Give Jesus and be that beacon of Light that others can see and follow.

  17. Isaiah 1:16-18 (CEV)
    Wash yourselves clean!
I am disgusted with your filthy deeds.
    Stop doing wrong
    And learn to live right.
    See that justice is done.
    Defend widows and orphans
    And help those in need.
    I, the LORD, invite you
To come and talk it over.
    Your sins are scarlet red,
    But they will be whiter
    Than snow or wool.

This is what God wants from all mankind in a nutshell.
He is disgusted with our filthy deeds, our sins. He wants us to clean up our act. He wants us to be washed and cleansed. He wants us to Stop Doing Wrong, and to Start Living Right. He wants us to see that justice is done. He wants us to defend the widows and orphans (fatherless). He wants us to help those in need.
He wants us to LIVE JESUS to GIVE JESUS!
    BUT
The only way we can do that is…
To come to Him and have a little talk.
We need to REPENT, and be BAPTIZED in the name of JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins, and be filled with the HOLY GHOST.
We need to be washed in the Blood of JESUS, so that we can be white as snow.
What can wash away my sins?
Nothing but the Blood of JESUS.
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the Blood of JESUS.
    Oh, precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow
    No other fount I know
Nothing but the Blood of JESUS.

    Thank God for the Blood
Thank God for the cleansing Blood
    Thank God for the Blood
That makes me white as snow

  18. 8 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

God is giving Israel every chance to turn away from their wickedness and sinful nature. Come now let us reason together. What an opportunity to be fully cleansed and made whole yet sadly people still turn away and live in the life of sin. I wonder do they truly understand the sacrifice that Jesus Christ gave in order to cleanse the aims of mankind. No matter what the sin though your sins be as scarlet they will be white as snow. He gives all of us opportunities to sit down with Him and even question Him reason together. Yet the world continues to sin with no regard of a Savior who gave everything so they could be saved.

    II Corinthians 6:2
2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
Today , Now is the time for salvation .

  19. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus2
    Isa 1:16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
Isa 1:17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

This is the reason we go on outreach. We are going to relieve the oppressed and give hope to the fatherless. This in the eyes of God is very precious. Everyone of us is built different. For me it is really awkward to strike up a conversation with a stranger, but I can go on outreach and reach for souls. The whole point is, no matter how you reach, just keep reaching.

  20. 18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

    This!! This!! This!!
My God my God, I was broken, beaten and bruised before. You kept calling me and I would fall down deeper. I was so lost and broken, but then when I finally had had enough and couldn’t take anymore if the world You spoke so sweetly, yet so powerfully to me. You reclaimed me. You cleansed me. You filled me with Your Spirit. You gave me Your Name!! You married me. You built me up. I had never been built up before. So beautiful. So precious. I owe You everything. You are so Precious and I me. My God, My God, My King.

    • Isaiah Chapter 1

9 Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

      16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;

Verse 9 of Isaiah Chapter 1 the Lord speaks of a remnant a smaller group of people who stand righteous in the Lord. God found 8 persons to save in the ark. God has always had a remnant and still has one now.

As we look at the first chapter we see God giving the children of Israel a way out of the mess, We live in a world of evil and Jesus has become the way out of this mess. Just as he was the answer to this chapter.

As I look in to the world all I see are self ruled sinners disobeying Gods principles.. We have the answer for that problem. As we except Jesus to be our Savior and our Lord and get baptized in Jesus name for remissions of sins than verse 18 applies to us. The record of our sins were washed away and the accuser had nothing to accuse us with. We walk in the newness of life. If we refuse verse 20 applies but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

  21. Isaiah 1:18
“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.

Thank You Jesus for the Blood
    by Charity Gayle

    I was a wretch
    I remember who I was
    I was lost
    I was blind
I was running out of time

    Sin separated
The breach was far too wide
But from the far side of the chasm
You held me in your sight

    So You made a way
    Across the great divide
    Left behind
    Heavens throne
    To build it here inside

    And there at the cross
You paid the debt I owed
    Broke my chains
    Freed my soul
For the first I had hope

Thank you Jesus for the blood applied
Thank you Jesus it have washed me white
Thank you Jesus You have saved my life
Brought me from the darkness into glorious light

    You took my place
Laid inside my tomb of sin
You were buried for three days
And then You walked right out again

And now death has no sting
    And life has no end
    For I have been transformed
By the blood of the lamb

Thank You Jesus for the blood applied (thank You Jesus)
Thank You Jesus it have washed me white
Thank You Jesus You have saved my life
Brought me from the darkness into glorious light

    There is nothing stronger
Then the wonder working power of the blood
    The blood
That calls us sons and daughters
We are ransomed by our father
    Through the blood
    The blood

    There is nothing stronger
Then the wonder working power of the blood
    The blood
That calls us sons and daughters
We are ransomed by the father
    Through the blood
    The blood

Thank You Jesus for the blood applied
Thank You Jesus it have washed me white
Thank You Jesus You have saved my life

Brought me from the darkness into glorious light

    Glory to His name
    Glory to His name
There to my heart was the blood applied
    Glory to His name

  22. Isaiah 1:18,19 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

Isaiah exhorted Israel to repentance, our world needs to repent. Repent and obey God.

Luke 13:5 I tell you, Nay: except ye repent, ye shall all like perish .

    Thank God for the blood!

  23. 2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

Very imperative especially when we can’t hear GOD speak to us or don’t understand the why or when things may occur, that we listen to the preaching and know who is preaching to us. GOD IS DEFINITELY SPEAKING!!! HE IS ALIVE AND WELL!!! HALELUJAH!!!

  24. 18. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
    19. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
    20. But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Obedience is like the saying goes… “Cleanliness is next to Godliness!”

Many times we may not understand where and why God is leading us through a situation to elevate our walk with Him. There have been times in the past 3 years that I have questioned God… “where, why, and purpose of the current season?” But I know that the scripture says….

    Proverbs 3:5-6
    5. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
    6. In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.

“Even when I can’t see it
    You’re working
Even when I can’t feel it
    you’re working
    YOU never stop…
    YOU never stop working”

  25. AMP 19 “If you are willing and obedient,
    You shall eat the best of the land;

This chapter is filled with the consequences of the sin that Israel found themselves in. God was displeased, turned his face from them, rebuked them for just going through the motions, but not really meaning it from their heart.

Then it turns and shows us the promise that God will be accept us after repentance and those that are obedient to His law, His commandments and His ways, will receive the promise of the Lord walking with them and the benefits of being His child.

    We can trust His promises!

Promises, We’re standing on His promises
In Him we have confidence He won’t fail

He will go before us, He will be with us
He will not fail us, He will not forsake us
He will go before us, He will be with us
He will not fail us, He will not forsake us

We will trust in the Lord with all our heart
His word can’t fail, His word can’t fail
We will trust in the Lord with all our heart
His word can’t fail, His word can’t fail
    Fear not, neither be dismayed

    Mountains are moving
    Ways made straight
In Jesus Name, In Jesus Name
    Mountains are moving
    Ways made straight
In Jesus Name, In Jesus Name

  26. “Even an ox knows its owner, and a donkey recognizes its master’s care— but Israel doesn’t know its master. My people don’t recognize my care for them.””
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This is where a lot of people stray from God – they don’t recognize the love in being cared for by God. Being cared for is so much more than getting what we desire. It also means correcting us. Reading this chapter some may see punishment but in reality God is showing so much love for His people. Let us embrace His care, even when it hurts because it will always be for our good. Thank you Jesus for loving us

  27. 12When you come to worship me, who asked you to parade through my courts with all your ceremony? 13 Stop bringing me your meaningless gifts; the incense of your offerings disgusts me!

Don’t worship/praise because you have too, or told to do so, or do so half heartily. God doesn’t want meaning less praise/worship, but to give your all. But do so joyfully and full of spirit.

  28. 18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Our good deeds cannot clean the stain of sin, our promises to God cannot clean the stain of sins, even our own suffering cannot clean the stain of sin.

Only the blood of Jesus can wash away our sin.

“What can wash away my sins?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus

Oh precious is that flow That makes me white as snow
    No other fount I know
Nothing but the blood of Jesus

What can wash away my sins?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
Nothing but the blood of Jesus“ // Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

  29. 17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

To be a Christian we must do what is right and be obedient to the Lord Jesus.

  30. 2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

  31. 20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

The Lord is merciful, however His Holiness requires judgement against sin.

  32. Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord : though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
    Isaiah 1:16‭-‬18 KJV

Though sin brings judgment and separation from God, He is not seeking to utterly destroy his creation. On the contrary, the Lord wants to restore. His will is that none should perish but that all shall come to repentance.

  33. 18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

No matter your past, God is able to forgive. The enemy does not want you to know this because of the power it brings. The truth will make you free. The power of God is able to do great things. It is what will keep you and bring you out of trouble.

  34. “If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the best of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭1:19-20‬ ‭AMP‬‬

When we live for Christ we have nothing to worry about. Living on the right side of the kingdom is the best thing you could ever do. No it may not be easy and test and trials will come but we can find joy and peace in knowing that we serve a living god who is well and able to supply our needs. It’s when we begin to turn away from god and pull away that our test and trials become a lot harder. We must stand fast and hold on to the power of god and lean not to our own understanding.

  35. “Listen, O heavens! Pay attention, earth! This is what the Lord says: “The children I raised and cared for have rebelled against me.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When God brought us here… we were given the choice either to live with him and for him, or to go out your own way and be lost in this wicked world. Many chose to stay with the Lord, but many lost their choice to temptation of this world. They turned their backs on the Lord for even though they knew what was the right decision. Many of us have family lost those who were once saved, and I pray daily for those who have lost their way. I pray that us as a church we go out there fighting for them to find their way back, preach the word to them even though they may act like they don’t care they hear you don’t give up on them. I pray that God gives us the strength to go in this evil world, and bring our families back to the Lord!

  36. 18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

One of the greatest mysteries that the people of God get yo experience is how can a great and sinless God love us so much that He does for us!? We could never repay Him but we can honor Him. We can make room for Him first and we can lead others to Him.

  37. “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the best of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” Isaiah 1:19-20

We have choices in life. There is always temptation around every corner. We must get close to our Lord to ignore the enemy trying to win us over. Love Jesus and pray daily for a hedge of protection!
Thank you Jesus for this day.

  38. 3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

This sounds like much of the US today. People don’t know right from wrong, and are so worried about offending someone else, they are willing to forsake Jesus, yet claim Christianity.
At some point we, as a nation will have to repent , and serve Jesus with our whole hearts if we want to see this nation healed…

  39. 18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

When we bring all of our troubles to God, he can do anything. When we once weren’t clean he makes us white as snow. I pray tonight that we are all making the right connection with God!!!

  40. “Wash yourselves and be clean! Get your sins out of my sight. Give up your evil ways. Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭1:16-17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Leave behind your old ways and gave up your flesh surround to the Lord seek after His will to reach, and teaching everyone the gospel of God. Unless we turn from our sins and become like little children hungry for the word, we will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. Let us leave our ways pick our cross be obedient to God and reach the soul of every nation teaching them the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  41. 10 Hear the word of the Lord, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.
11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

There’s always a warning before destruction. But do you hear the warm? Do you heed to the warning? Or do you get upset and have an attitude because of the warning and not try to change anything about your situation?? I choose to listen to the warnings and try to change the issues in my life before it is too late.

  42. ““Come. Sit down. Let’s argue this out.” This is GOD ’s Message: “If your sins are blood-red, they’ll be snow-white. If they’re red like crimson, they’ll be like wool. If you’ll willingly obey, you’ll feast like kings. But if you’re willful and stubborn, you’ll die like dogs.” That’s right. GOD says so.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭1:18-20‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Are you thankful for the blood.
If it wasn’t for the blood of Jesus we wouldn’t be here today every bit of the blood that was shed on the cross was for each and everyone of us when Jesus was being crucified the chief priest said what about his blood and the people all cried out and said his blood will be on our hands these people didn’t realize what they were saying that his crucifixion his blood was for each of us and that ours sins may be washed with his blood.

  43. Is this too simple?

19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

This is the word of the Lord. God doesn’t best around the bush. You can always tell when it’s the word of God or if it is mans words. Men try to sugar coated things so that you will accept their words. Gods word doesn’t need your acceptance. It is simple because it is the truth. The truth is not complex or hard to understand, it is what it is. There is no argument or rebuttal did truth. It’s simple.
