Isaiah 7

And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.

And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.

Then said the Lord unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller’s field;

And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,

Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:

Thus saith the Lord God, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.

For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.

And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.

10 Moreover the Lord spake again unto Ahaz, saying,

11 Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.

12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord.

13 And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?

14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.

17 The Lord shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father’s house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.

18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.

19 And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.

20 In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.

21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep;

22 And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land.

23 And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns.

24 With arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land shall become briers and thorns.

25 And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle.

    Virgin Birth Prophesied
Immanuel – God is with us”
In this chapter is found a prophecy concerning the virgin birth of the promised Messiah, Jesus Christ.
Thank you God for your promise and your salvation.

  3. 3. Then said the Lord unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shear-jashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller’s field;

    4. And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

Isn’t it awesome to serve a God who knows exactly where you are, when you’re under attack, and who to send to bring you words of encouragement!

    Hebrews 4:
    13. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

    15. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

    16. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

  4. 12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord.

13 And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?

14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.

A simple sign, a simple promise, a Savior, a Redeemer, OUR MESSIAH, Our God wrapped in flesh! He knows good and bad from the start, He is born with the knowledge not like is that have to learn it. He walks as a living example for is to follow. He doesn’t dare ask for a sign but it is given none the less: a few details, born of a Virgin, the ate, butter and hunny, even a name Immanuel!!! What more can we ask for and still some people did not recognize Him. I found my Messiah!!! Will you like to have Him also???

  5. 10 Moreover the Lord spake again unto Ahaz, saying,
11 Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.
12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord.
13 And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?

Is there anything too hard for the Lord?

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
    John 14:13 KJV

If it’s to the glory of God, you can go ahead and expect it to be done!

  6. 7:5 because Syria , Ephraim and the son of Remaliah
Have taken evil council against thee saying,
    ——
The enemy of our soul will try this and that…
The word says that he is here to steal to kill and to destroy… the word says like he is like a roaring lion
    Seeking who he may devour…
But what does almighty God tell us?
    👉🏼 To Take heed
    To Be quiet
    To fear not
And to not be faint hearted.
    Hallelujah, whatever comes agains me,
    It has been written that
No weapon formed against me shall be able to prosper.
Jesus says that I am the sole of his eye. And that
They’d better watch out whoever plans evil agains his children.
The Lord in his great mercy let them know what
    The enemy had in plan..
but he also gave them a word.
    I hear the word
    I believe it
My hope is in you JESUS!!!!!

  7. In the VOICE version,, the beginning of this chapter says “The stump remains: a testament to what the people used to be, a promise of what is to come.” This brought to my mind what I have seen recently since that cold freeze we had in February. A lot of things may look dead, lost, gone; but, look closely and you will find an bud, a trace of life, a new beginning. We cannot allow things that look bleak or things that look hopeless bring us down and take us out, as we have a promise. God will preserve His remnant.

  8. Immanuel

In the Old Testament it speaks the oneness of God. It tells us how the Lord will come to visit the earth in the form of a man.

But yet so many still don’t believe. What does God have to do to show himself that he is the I am?

“All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’).”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭7:14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

To the Jews that don’t believe. He is here. He has came, for the gift of salvation is at hand.

To the atheist that refuse to believe. He is alive. He does for your burden of sin.

  9. 15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.
16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.

Our duties as parents are to teach and train up our children and the way they should go so when they are old they don’t depart from it. It doesn’t mean that they won’t depart and it doesn’t mean that they will always choose what is right but in feeding our children what is nutritious and proper to our children we are instilling a value into them that they will know right from wrong all of their days

  10. 10Later, the LORD sent this message to King Ahaz: 11“Ask the LORD your God for a sign of confirmation, Ahaz. Make it as difficult as you want—as high as heaven or as deep as the place of the dead.”

No matter how difficult your request is, God can fix it. We all may feel defeated at times, but with God not is impossible. We just need to have patience, faith and prayer. Even though we can’t see miracles happen, God is working for you.

Hebrews 11:1 Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.

  11. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus
9 And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.

Many times we read the Bible but we don’t put 2 and 2 together. Samaria was the capitol of the divided kingdom of Israel. Judah had a king and the throne was established in Jerusalem and Israel had a throne established in Samaria. The tribe that ruled Judah was the tribe of Judah and the tribe that ruled Israel was Ephraim. This was Joseph’s younger son who received the blessing instead of the elder son. It’s tough to now see this son of Joseph many generations later rise up in war against Judah. By the time Jesus walked the earth, this fighting had turned into a “Cold War” of sorts. The Jews were extremely biased against the Samaritans but Jesus accepted them into the fold. Not only does Jesus tell the parable of the “Good Samaritan”, but he also reaches out to the Samaritan lady at the well. Jesus knew exactly what he was doing, he was uniting the 12 tribes of Israel back together.

  12. 10 Moreover the Lord spake again unto Ahaz, saying,
11 Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.

There isn’t anything that God can not do.

“If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭14:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

  13. Isaiah 7

The Lord shall give you a sign !
The prophecy here I don’t believe I truly have read the scriptures prior to it . Surely I have but not til today did I see this Ajax was reluctant to ask God . Why I’m not sure but . Yet Isaiah assured him he could ask fir a sign and when he doesn’t the prophecy of the birth of Jesus Christ. I am so glad that we have the opportunity to know who Jesus Christ the Messiah truly is. And it is truly alright to ask questions and ask for signs in our life. Jesus came to free us and give us life peace and joy in Him . Today thank you Jesus for coming to this world to save us and to love us. Thank you for the many times You have showed me things when I had and have so many questions. You always reassure You are right with us .
It is ok to ask God . He can do Anything!

  14. Vs9; “If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.”
Faith, it is essential to a child of God. However, sometimes for me, it is a mountain that I cannot climb. Faith is not “belief without proof.” We cannot please God with “I believe despite what the evidence tells me.” Maybe a good definition of faith is a complete trust or confidence in someone or something. That trust or confidence we have in someone is built up over time as he or she proves themselves faithful time and time again.

Yes, I kept it carnal on purpose. We not only have to have faith in God, but we have to have faith in the people we love and live with. Do we have faith in our spouse? Do we have faith in our parents, children, coworkers, government, etc?

How much time did we invest in getting to know our spouse? How much time do we invest getting to know Jesus?

In our daily lives, we don’t trust complete strangers. The more intimately we know someone and the more time we have had to see them “in action,” the more likely we are to believe what they say. But, if God is essentially a stranger to us, we are less likely to believe what He has said in His Word. The only cure for this is to spend more time in God’s Word getting to know Him.

  15. LIVE – GIVE JESUS2
A STUBBORN MAN AND A DETERMINED GOD

10 Moreover the Lord spake again unto Ahaz, saying,
11 Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.
12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord.
13 And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Reading through this exchange several times, I thought, what is wrong with Ahaz. The LORD says ask of the Lord and Ahaz says no. How crazy is that. BUT as we know history, now that JESUS is Alive, GOD had a plan all along and HE desired to use man to request a sign of HIS plan. However A STUBBORN MAN whose FAITH was so weak couldn’t even believe GOD for a sign and feared it would be tempting GOD to ask for something that he couldn’t believe for.

The LORD responded “your weak faith wears men out and now your weak faith wears me out”.

The LORD reveals a principal here: The LORD prefers to use man to accomplish HIS will. BUT will complete HIS will without man if needed. GOD was determined to be savior of man, by becoming man “Immanuel” (GOD with us).

Thank you JESUS that even when dealing with A STUBBORN MAN, you are A DETERMINED GOD. I pray today that your will be done in JESUS Name.

  16. Right and Wrong

9 And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.

    NIV
The head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is only Remaliah’s son. If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.'”

As a young Christian I was often timid When it was time to exercise my faith. Shying away from what I deemed as “a BIG deal” Yet the older I got I understood that what my small mind thought was a “bid deal” was pretty small for my BIG God.

I often wonder what I’ve missed out on God doing through me because of this. If I could go back and tell timid me anything I would be “honey cowgirl up and watch God work” 😂

God can do Anything! We can not allow timidity, accusations, fear, or anything else stop us us from exercising our faith. We must live our faith our loud and stand firm on His word.

  17. 9 “…Unless your faith is firm, I cannot make you stand firm” NLT

No one can make you have faith. We can encourage, demonstrate, and even instruct but we cannot make you have faith. That is only something you can do for yourself.

  18. 11 Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.

12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord.

The Lord had already prepared the path and prepared the answer for Ahaz, he was just waiting on him to ask of Him. How many times has the Lord already prepared our path and our answer, and He is just waiting on us to ask of Him? We try out own ways, try to figure it out for ourselves, and most times only go to God when we can’t find the answer. What if we went to God first? What if we sought His ways and His counsel before anything else? It might save us a lot of heartache and time.

Matthew 6:33 … But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

  19. “Then the LORD said to Isaiah, “Go out now to meet Ahaz, you and Shear-Jashub your son, at the end of the aqueduct from the upper pool, on the highway to the Fuller’s Field,”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭7:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The Word of God is like none other. His is alive! It is a foundation and rock we can stand on. It is a light and lamp for our path. It is a Hammer! It is the Bread of Life! It is the Sword of the Spirit! The Word to me personally is life. It sustains me in all aspects of my life. I’m so thankful for His Word.

  20. Proverbs 22:6 KJV

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.

When we had our girls I knew we had to make changes in our life’s. Our girls were dedicated to the Lord and both have been baptized in Jesus Name and received the Holy Ghost. We as parents have to guide our children in the right direction when they are young and help them make wise choices; when my girls were young and in school they would ask to do something and if we didn’t approve of it we would tell them no that is not a wise choice and their reply was well everyone else is doing it. Well I was not everyone else mom and I had to look out for my girls and when they get older you have to let God help them make wise choices. Being raised and having felt the presence of God they can run but they can’t hide , I am believing that our backslidden children are returning to where they belong and that is the house of God! So if your child is backslid don’t give up hope keep praying!

  21. “Then the Lord said to Isaiah, “Go out, you and your son Shear-Jashub, to meet Ahaz at the end of the aqueduct of the Upper Pool, on the road to the Launderer’s Field.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭7:3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Why did God want Isaiah’s son to go with him? I believe it was because he was a walking promise, as the name “Shear-Jashub” means “a remnant shall return”.

God wanted them to know that no matter the destruction that took place, a remnant of His people would return!

After not being able to attend in person church last year, only a remnant returned. But there is great anointing on the remnant!

I’m reminded of a message Bro. Azzolini preached a few weeks ago, titled “ The remnant of Judah”.

  22. 10 Moreover the Lord spake again unto Ahaz, saying,

The Lord asked Ahaz to ask for sign and Ahaz stated he did not want to tempt the Lord. Even when God asks the question and we should have a fear or reverence for God in so much that we should not wrecklessly ask for things that we ought to but allow God to bless us through our faithfulness to Him. We find that so many get discouraged with God because they are not completely sold out to the kingdom, they really never get what they want. It is something that they need but they don’t count it as a blessing.

You see we get so caught up on the materialistic items of the world and we lose our relationship with God. We need to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness then everything our heart desires will be given to us. We have to be ready for when God opens the door for us to walk through. Meanwhile we have to keep pushing forward until the trump sounds and the church is called home.

    Live Give Jesus2!

  23. “In that day the Lord will whistle for the army of southern Egypt and for the army of Assyria. They will swarm around you like flies and bees. They will come in vast hordes and settle in the fertile areas and also in the desolate valleys, caves, and thorny places.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭7:18-19‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Notice that God just has to hiss (call), the fly and bee, and they will come. They are subject to God. It does not matter how far away they are, they must obey the voice of God. Satan is not the ruler, ultimately, God is.

  24. Isaiah 7:2-4, 7, & 9 (NLT)
    2) The news had come to the royal court of Judah: “Syria is allied with Israel against us!” So the heart of the king and his people trembled with fear, like trees shaking in a storm.
    3) Then the LORD said to Isaiah, “Take your son Shear-jashub and go out to meet King Ahaz.” …
    4) Tell him to stop worrying. Tell him he doesn’t need to fear the fierce anger of those burnt-out embers, King Rezin of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah.

    7) But this is what the Sovereign LORD says, “This invasion will never happen; it will never take place.”

    9) … unless your faith is firm, I cannot make you stand firm.

    Don’t Worry 😞, Be Happy ☺!!
You don’t need to fear 😱, because God has given us a promise, “For God hath not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Tim. 1:7)
All you have to do is have Faith and Believe God, that no matter what or who comes against you, it will never happen, and it will never take place. Why? Because God is Fighting for You and He is on Your side. He is the God of our battles.

  25. “‘We will attack Judah and capture it for ourselves. Then we will install the son of Tabeel as Judah’s king.’ But this is what the Sovereign Lord says: “This invasion will never happen; it will never take place;”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭7:6-7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We have no reason to fear the things that come at us. We have no reason to be afraid of the attacks of this world or the threats for we know that we serve a god who is well able. He will never leave us nor forsake us. No matter what it may look like we must dig down and use that little bit of faith that we may have and believe god is able. We can’t look or listen with our natural eyes we must look and listen with our spiritual eyes. Gods got our back so don’t be afraid of what they have to say. What does god have to say?

  26. Isaiah Chapter 7

The book of Isaiah was written around 740 to 700 BCE

14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

It is interesting to read and see the movement of kings and the alignment. It also interesting how God stepped in and defeated that plan for the over throwing of the King of Juda. It was also a blessing that God gave a sign concerning Jesus as a living human who was described by the title and word used Immanuel ( God with us) declaring that Jesus was God in the flesh.
This prophesy was fulfilled after a 400 year absence of any prophets or prophetical gooks written. Jesus came into this earth in a void of time and Gods direct intervention with man. It became the right time for Jesus to be born. It was also a time when the land was occupied from Babylon through Roman rule through the second world war. Israel became a nation again in 1948.
Now we are waiting on the arrival of Jesus second coming. Which culminates in the over throwing of all governments world wide and places Jesus as lord of all.
Making One world government in righteousness and holiness. Amen Amen

  27. 13 And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

There is not anything that God cannot do, he is righteous God. He is Immanuel God with us.

  28. v14
    ” Emanuel..God with us.
GOD has placed His treasure in earthen vessels. The fragile shell of humanity became a repository for the powerful presence of God.
God sent His Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost.
There was a sound from heaven ” as of a rushing mighty wind,” and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance ” Acts 2:2,4

  29. 3 Then said the Lord unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller’s field;
4 And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

Today we have scripture which is the Word of the Lord. We should now fear to do what scripture tells us to do.

  30. “Israel is no stronger than its capital, Samaria, and Samaria is no stronger than its king, Pekah son of Remaliah. Unless your faith is firm, I cannot make you stand firm.””
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭7:9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Unless your faith is firm, I cannot make you stand firm. I know what having shaky faith feels like. A lot of doubt, a lot of second guessing, a lot of what if’s. When we have faith that God can do anything, we’re not saying He will do everything. Rather, we’re saying we know His Word and have reminded Him of what He says and know the matter is in His hands.

  31. I love POFW! It is so fulfilling to read the word of God and know it is true and our book to guide our life. Gods word is our instruction manual named the Bible. In all the reading and then some for today the truth in it is so evident there’s no way to doubt it. God caters to us in every form and fashion to show us how much he loves us. I love him so!!!

  32. “for this is what the Lord GOD says, “It shall not stand nor shall it happen.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭7:7‬ ‭AMP

We shouldn’t fear what the enemy throws our way. We must continue to trust THE LORD JESUS at His word at all times. Remember that prophetic words have been spoken over our region. ‘No matter what the weapon is…WE(POFW) wins. Don’t lose faith, keep trusting the LORD🙌🙌

  33. Isaiah 7
13 And he said, Hear ye now, O House of David; is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold a virgin shall receive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse evil, and choose the good.

Our Lord loves us and everything is possible with God.

He will not let you be defeated. He who guards you never sleeps. The LORD will protect you from all dangers; he will guard your life. The LORD will guard you as you come and go, both now and forever.
    Psalms 121: 3,7-8

  34. 1 And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.

2 And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.

If God be for us who or what can be against us, it pays to serve the one true living God, Jesus!

  35. 7 Thus saith the Lord God, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.

God looks out for his people. No matter how tough it may seem, God is able to deliver. We cannot put our trust in man, we must continue to put our trust in God. He is the only one that is able to save. Our God has the power to do all things. He will never fail.

  36. 15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

What are we feeding our spirit? I don’t know about you but I am a very picky eater lol. I know for a fact that if something is old or spoiled I won’t eat it, that’s why I check the dates on everything I eat. Applying this spiritually we can not feed our spirit moldy and spoiled things for this is very unhealthy. We must have fresh food. By food I mean pray, fasting, your Bible, and worship! I pray tonight that we all check our spirit and make sure we are healthy!!!

  37. “Tell him to stop worrying. Tell him he doesn’t need to fear the fierce anger of those two burned-out embers, King Rezin of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭7:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Why are we letting doubt and fear and anxiety in our lives when God is right next to us? The Lord will never let anything happen to his children, no enemy no battle and no trial is to hard for the Lord to protect us from. God wants us to know that we should fear no evil, or any battle that we might face. As we stay faithful unto the Lord, as we live full heartedly and remain doing his works God is protecting you, helping you rise in Victory no matter what you face. Trust in the Lord always for he is with you and never fails you.

  38. 11 Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.

12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord.

  39. 7 Thus saith the Lord God, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.

8 For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.

9 And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.

If the Lord said then its bound to be true. Nothing can change the word of the Lord I mean absolutely nothing. Just like when we heard that testimony how God told the man of God he was gonna fill the house to 400 but that turned out to be 20+ years ago…God started moving people in and the man of God stood on the word of the Lord. Nothing can change the will of God

  40. 14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

There was never a greater sign than Jesus coming down to earth to save that which was lost, and he is still saving that which was lost today!! Thank you Jesus for coming down to dwell on earth and save us!! I don’t know where I would be today if he hadn’t saved me. Thank you Jesus!!!

  41. Isaiah 7:11,12 Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord.

Not wise to tempt the Lord.

  42. Then the Lord said to Isaiah, “Take your son Shear-jashub and go out to meet King Ahaz. You will find him at the end of the aqueduct that feeds water into the upper pool, near the road leading to the field where cloth is washed. Tell him to stop worrying. Tell him he doesn’t need to fear the fierce anger of those two burned-out embers, King Rezin of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah.
    Isaiah 7:3‭-‬4 NLT

What a wonderful chapter where we see the prophecy of the coming messiah, our Lord and savior Jesus. Besides the great sign which was the birth of Jesus, what stood out the most to me was how detailed God explains where to find the king. If we could modernize it. He gave latitude and longitude coordinates of where he was. This spoke right to my heart. God does not miss a thing. Just like he sees your exact location by detail. He knows where we are in life and our struggles. Near the river, the end of what one may be able to take. There, it seems that He sends a word. An angel that carries a a message of hope. In that moment of despair where you’ve lost all hope. God knows where you are. What knows what you need to hear. And God will deliver a word to you to speak life. All we have to do is believe it. Somehow it reminds me of the story if Elijah when he went and hid in a cave. Yes, he too, was at a low point in his life. Then we read that came the strong wind, the earthquake, and the fire… but the Lord was not in any of all those hardships or tempests if we can call it like that… the the Word came. That still small voice, that message from God.

If we can learn to quit our mind in the middle of the tribulation, then we can hear the Spirit talk to us. Then we should have direction and hear what God is trying to tell us.

He knows exactly where we are. And he knows exactly what word he will send to us. Quiet your mind and open your soul and listen. A word is coming. For God spoke and it was….

  43. Isaiah 7:5-7
[5]Yes, the kings of Syria and Israel are plotting against him, saying,
[6]‘We will attack Judah and capture it for ourselves. Then we will install the son of Tabeel as Judah’s king.’
[7]But this is what the Sovereign lord says:
    “This invasion will never happen;
        it will never take place;

People will come against you, People will hurt you, People will talk about you. Just pray for them. God can do anything. He is greater and stronger than anything you face in life. Pray. He’s a waymaker and miracle worker.
    Thank you Jesus

  44. “Then said the Lord unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shear–jashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller’s field;”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭7:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    Then the Lord said…
So many times we have many voices telling us what to do. They could have our interest or theirs at heart. We don’t really know until later. But when God tells us something we know it’s exactly what we are supposed to do. Listen atently. God will speak if we just listen.

  45. 7 Thus saith the Lord God, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.

  46. 15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

I have found a good reason as to why yo eat butter and honey! Do you keep this as a standing principle. . . Refuse evil and choose good.
