Acts Chapter 3 – FIRE2 – 3/40

Day 3: Acts Ch.3. In this chapter, we find Peter, in Jesus’ Name and power,  performing the miraculous healing of a crippled beggar. The onlookers recognize this physically challenged man, and are astonished as they watch him jumping and leaping outside the temple. Peter again capitalizes upon the moment and explains that God’s mercy and grace are available for all. Pray for the church to follow this example and see lives physically, spiritually, and  emotionally healed by the power of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 3

Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

  1. 1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

It is important to understand that there is an established hour of God for each person. There is a divine time God has prepared to manifest his power over your life and the lives of others through you. You can say today is as normal a day as any other. It could be any time of the day, but what if God gets in your hour today? God’s time is very important to take and receive. Have you thought today might be, not just the time devote for you, but God also wants to use you in the assigned hour for someone else?

  2. Verse 1 MSG says “One day at three o’clock in the afternoon, Peter and John were on their way into the Temple for prayer meeting.” Same verse NLT “Peter and John went to the Temple one afternoon to take part in the three o’clock prayer service.” Along the same lines that Bro. Garcia stated above, “what if” Peter and John had missed that particular prayer meeting, “what if” the lame man’s friends hadn’t picked him up that day, or “what if” the lame man said “not today guys, leave me here I’m not going to the temple today”. We cannot afford to miss out on our divine appointment or become so laid back that we miss our opportunity to be used because it’s just another prayer meeting. But rather, let us always be ready and be willing vessels as 1 Peter 3:15 AMP says “But in your hearts set Christ apart [as holy—acknowledging Him, giving Him first place in your lives] as Lord. Always be ready to give a [logical] defense to anyone who asks you to account for the hope and confident assurance [elicited by faith] that is within you, yet [do it] with gentleness and respect.” Keep the faith and never let anything keep you from what God wants to use you in or has for you. Verse 15 MSG “And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health and complete wholeness in your presence.”

  3. 3. Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

    4. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

    5. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

The first time he saw them he asked for alms, but he wasn’t expecting to receive anything. He looked at them again, this time expecting to receive, and so he did.
When we petition God for our wants and needs, are we just asking, or are we asking with faith and expectation?

    16. And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

  4. 5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

    Great expectation-

When you go through life without the power of God and you know something is missing, your are handicapped spiritually. There is a large void where something great should be there but you are fooled by the belief of the world and you are dying and not even know it. But when you meet someone who has that great something and you see it all over them, you become interested in what they have to cause them to be full of joy and full of confidence. You begin to wonder if they have something that you can have and they begin to witness to you and tell you it is yours all you have to do is ask for it. This is a gift that will satisfy any expectations that we could ever have.

The issue that we have with people is that we think if we live Jesus but not open our mouths, people will just begin to ask what it is that we have. We have to do more than portray the position in Jesus, we have to be a witness by also speaking Jesus and all that he has, can, and will do for us in our walk with him. It’s not time to stay silent, just like Peter and John, when the lame man asked, they did not ignore him. They boldly spoke “Silver and Hold have I none, but such as I have give I thee”. At that moment the man’s life was instantly changed. His expectations were now different. It is time to change the mindset of the spiritually handicapped and give them Jesus.

  5. Acts 3: 6-7-8 Then Peter said, Silver and Gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee; In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
    (7) And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up; and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
    (8) And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping and praising God.
Doing this 40 days of Fire !
Signs, Wonders, and Miracles are happening right now at Pofw.
Get out of comfort zone and start walking , and leaping , and praising God for he is so good to us.
Watching other brothers and sisters getting there miracle and healing is a blessing.
I want to be ready and be a willing vessel.
    Anything could happen!
What ever you need Jesus is Here!

  6. 5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

People are looking to us, and looking to the church, with a level of expectation. Some are curious, some are intrigued, expecting to see great things; some just watch as spectators, and some look in expectation for another reason to complain. People today have their own reasons for looking toward the church, but the fact is, they are watching with some level of expectation. As they watch, it lays the responsibility on us to Live and Give Jesus. Every moment they are watching, we must be a demonstration of God’s love and mercy so they may be drawn by His Spirit into the Kingdom of God.

  7. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

I like how this verse points out that this man had a one need but ended up getting something so much more. Often times people come to the throne of God for one thing because they think they have this need of something when God’s intention is to preserve them for something much bigger. The Bible tells us that he had been lame since birth and he constantly came to the temple for money but it was when Peter saw him and gave him something else entirely. What brought the miracle on it was Peter sensitivity that God wanted to do something much bigger.

  8. When everyone knows you and knows what’s going on thank God gets the glory more than ever before. If this person didn’t know anyone in the city then it wouldn’t of been such a big deal. Because everyone in the city knew him and saw him every day and knew what he was going through it made an opportunity for them to share the gospel more

  9. 4Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, “Look at us!” 5The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting some money. 6But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!”
Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up.

God can help us whenever where ever but we just have been ready.

  10. As I think and visualize this miracle told in the Bible I think of how wonderful and magnificent my God is. I also think of the individual lame man with a completely changed life. How that one man changed bunches of lives by how he responded to his miracle. The onlookers that probably fell to their knees and thanked God who were lost and now found God. And that one miracle told and retold many times has changed lives today. I love POFW! LiveJesusGiveJesus2

  11. Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:1-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The lame man simply wanted to be supported in the condition that he was in. God wanted to completely change his condition.

  12. “When Peter saw he had a congregation, he addressed the people: “Oh, Israelites, why does this take you by such complete surprise, and why stare at us as if our power or piety made him walk? The God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, the God of our ancestors, has glorified his Son Jesus. The very One that Pilate called innocent, you repudiated. You repudiated the Holy One, the Just One, and asked for a murderer in his place. You no sooner killed the Author of Life than God raised him from the dead—and we’re the witnesses. Faith in Jesus’ name put this man, whose condition you know so well, on his feet—yes, faith and nothing but faith put this man healed and whole right before your eyes.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:12-16‬ ‭MSG‬‬

When Peter saw how amazed the people were, he was quick to give all glory and praise to Jesus.
Peter had faith in the name of Jesus. He believed in the power in Jesus name and the man was healed.

  13. La misericordia de DIOS es Grande y acertada, cuando tu pides un milagro El sabe el tiempo perfecto , solo tenemos que tener sabiduria y esperar en el

  14. 7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

Faith is believing God knowing God’s will then acting it out. How much faith would we have if we seen a someone laying by the side to reach down and lift him up? would we ignore the sign or would we have enough faith to help him up. That verse I also feels can go along with when someone in the church is fighting a battle and they are down do we stop and help them up or do we just act like they are okay and talk about them?
When a brother or sister is down we should stop and pick them up and help them.

If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Ecclesiastes 4:10 NIV
As a church lets help our brothers and sisters you never know when they just need to hear a hello, thinking of you or glad to see you. Let’s be Jesus to a world that needs us!

  15. Acts 3:6-10Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into temple, walking, and leaping and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God: And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

John 9:8 The neighbors therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?

I pray every sickness is healed in Jesus Name! We will all be leaping and praising God!!!!! He is a miracle working God!

It’s all in the Name! Jesus!!!!

  16. 12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

    14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

  17. Acts 3
12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

The God of Abraham , Issac and Jacob-and through His name through faith .
The power of the name of Jesus . Brings strength and the scripture says this man received perfect soundness.
I took a look at this word perfect soundness; here is the definition
    Definition: Integrity, i.e., physical wholeness.
    Detailed definition:
Of an unimpaired condition of the body, in which all its members are healthy and fit for use.
    Good health.

When Jesus Christ heals He want to completely heal . This man was lame yet the Word says his entire body was healed . All members healed. I believe that Jesus Christ made this man healed from the top of his head to the sole of his feet. A prayer that I’ve heard prayed before healing from the top of the head to the sole of the feet . Faith and knowing that there is healing complete healing in Jesus . Body , soul and spirit. Peter and John assured the people it was not by them but by Jesus Christ. My prayer today is that as Peter and John were used , use me to give to others the faith to believe that God will heal then. In Jesus name.

  18. For it is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—the God of all our ancestors—who has brought glory to his servant Jesus by doing this. This is the same Jesus whom you handed over and rejected before Pilate, despite Pilate’s decision to release him. “Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.
Acts of the Apostles 3:13‭, ‬16 NLT

    https://bible.com/bible/116/act.3.13-16.NLT

Faith in the Name of Jesus healed him before your eyes.
That’s all it took. Faith in the Name of Jesus. That glo ious and beautiful Name!! Thank You, my King for the Power of Your Name!!!

  19. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

We each have something to give. When we cross paths with someone in need, we are each equipped to give because it’s not by our might or power, but it’s all in the name of Jesus. We can pray and believe that God is going to help them, we can give our testimony and testify what God has done for others. We can give Jesus to anyone.

  20. Acts of the Apostles 3:20
Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah.

    Your Presence Is Heaven

Who is like You Lord in all the earth?
Matchless love and beauty, endless worth
Nothing in this world can satisfy
‘Cause Jesus You’re the cup that won’t run dry

Your presence is heaven to me Your presence is heaven to me

Treasure of my heart and of my soul
In my weakness you are merciful
Redeemer of my past and present wrongs
Holder of my future days to come

Your presence is heaven to me Your presence is heaven to me

All my days on earth I will await
The moment that I see You face to face
Nothing in this world can satisfy
‘Cause Jesus You’re the cup that won’t run dry

Your presence is heaven to me Your presence is heaven to me

Oh Jesus, Oh Jesus Your presence is heaven to me
Oh Jesus, Oh Jesus Your presence is heaven to me

  21. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

Temptation isn’t always what we think it is. It can be as subtle as over eating, looking a second time, or a simple click on your phone.

But God shows us another avenue the enemy uses. You see the man was laid daily at the door of the temple. Every time someone entered and exited the house of God there was a man asking alms.

To the normal individual it might be a normal thing but the enemy is cunning. You see everyday we are all presented with opportunities to see the power of God manifest in our life. The Words say that “these signs shall follow them that believe”. Every believer has the potential of being used mightily by God, the problem is faith.
Believing that God will! We, for the most part, believe he can, but we doubt He will.
“What if He doesn’t do it?” All valid questions. But the enemy is ready to rob us of our faith by setting traps that will rob us of our faith.

We all say amen when pastor asks, but how many will extend there hand and believe that He can and will?

    God bless you

  22. 16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

I noticed a few things here. These are only my observations and I’m not trying to make any points at the moment:
*They didn’t ask the man if he wanted a miracle.
*They didn’t ask God if he would heal the man.
*They didn’t ask the man to repent of his sins
*They didn’t ask the man if he wanted the Holy Ghost

None of those things are wrong by the way, but we are encouraged by the Word of God to do each of those things. But what I observed is that with boldness the Apostle’s knew the will of God at that moment and spoke a creative miracle into existence with no hesitation and it happened with no agenda at all. This is truly amazing. We don’t know what ever became of this healed man. Its possible he became a Christian but it’s also possible he went to the club. God put no stipulation on this mans miracle.

  23. 17 “Friends, I realize that what you and your leaders did to Jesus was done in ignorance.” NLT

How many times have we acted or responded in ignorance? I’m sure we all have at some point or another acted before truly considering the consequences. Regardless, if the actions were made in complete knowledge or ignorance, we all are faced with the aftermath.

I pray we learn the value of thinking before speaking, and applying wisdom before acting. That we would LIVE Jesus that our actions respond by GIVING Jesus.

  24. Refreshing.

19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

We need to be careful not to let our lives become so busy that we are unable to find the time to be still and allow Jesus to talk to our soul. We are of little use and unable to share the joy and love of God that we should be filled with, into the lives of those around us.

As we read in Psalm 23: “The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul . . . ” Water speaks of life, sustenance, fertility, blessing and refreshing – what a wonderful place to be restored! “Therefore with joy will you draw water” (Isaiah 12:3). It is a joyful experience to be refreshed and refilled. We all need to be refreshed again and again with the love of God, so our passion and longing for more of Jesus can be satisfied.

  25. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

Peter spoke the words of faith, but then he also reached and lifted the man up…….

We can speak our 10 to win in prayer by faith coming to receive their miracle, but we must put action with it as well. We must encourage them, invite them, go pick them up if necessary.

Live and Give Jesus to them and then put that faith to work to see them spiritually alive!

  26. LIVE – GIVE JESUS2
MY 40 DAYS OF FIRE2 GOAL

6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

Over the past 15 months verse 6 has been our Mission, Vision and Desire.

LIVE JESUS so passionately and intimately that these experiences are our natural response.

GIVE JESUS so passionately and freely that others experience the supernatural power and healing of JESUS.

I know and understand that we cannot mandate what GOD does and who HE will choose to show himself mighty. But that should not hinder not discourage us from being ready to be used for HIS Glory.

My 40 Day Prayer and Goal is that I am ready and willing to be used in this manner for the Kingdom of GOD as HE does many infallible proofs among us over these 40 Days.

  27. Acts 3
    “Peter & John”
They went together to the temple at the hour of prayer.
A lame man was healed, because they took the time to reach out and lift him up in JESUS name.
Peter answered unto the people. He taught and preached to them – JESUS.

Peter and John were true examples of LIVING JESUS and GIVING JESUS,

  28. Acts 3
    2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
6 Then Petersaid, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
10 And the knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

The lame man had to have faith in order to be healed. Also, with the power of the Holy Ghost, Peter through God, helped heal the man. I loved that Peter told the men of Israel how they denied the Holy One and instead let a murderer go. Seeing is believing! They saw how the lame man was healed, knew that the Lord our God was the one to help do that. I love Acts 3! It was “beautiful”!
Thank you Jesus for this day.

  29. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

I now think of the song Rattle from this verse! Resurrection power runs in my veins too! The same power that rose Jesus and this man is in my body or I have the power for Jesus to work through me!

  30. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

Peter not only had faith enough to speak a miracle but he put that faith into action by extending his hand to lift the man up.

“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”
    ‭‭James‬ ‭2:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  31. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

The way people communicated in Biblical times is vastly different from our way. I believe that the lame man was basicly accepting Christ, not through the “Sinners Prayer”, but through accepting what Christ has to offer via his converstation with Peter.

  32. 12Peter saw his opportunity and addressed the crowd. “People of Israel,” he said, “what is so surprising about this? And why stare at us as though we had made this man walk by our own power or godliness?

When you see an opportunity to speak about Jesus, do it. We have many chances on a daily basis to speak to someone about Jesus. You never know, how you could impact someone life, until you tell them about Jesus.

  33. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

Through God we are given the power to speak things as if they were in faith and speak them into existence and this scripture is the perfect example of that, Peter saw the man and believe with great faith because he knew the power of the master because he was a witness to many miracles and with boldness he spoke it and God made it happen!! We need to be more like Peter and start believing our miracle will happen with great faith instead of doubting it every time we pray.

  34. 16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

    Faith in the NAME…

He was healed because of his faith in the name of Jesus. Why if everything is to be done in the name, is it so hard to believe that we are to be baptized in the name rather than in the titles???

  35. 19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

What?? How could that be??? BECAUSE ALL THREE ARE ONE, Jesus!

  36. 26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

God wants us all to turn away from sin. He will bless us.

  37. ““Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When you have faith nothing is impossible. Faith can move mountains, and destroy yolks. God can do anything with our faith. All it takes is faith the size of a mustard seed. We can’t have doubt or fear but we have to have faith and confidence that anything can happen.

  38. 19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Their is a certain amount of weight that sin tries to bind and weigh down on people. It’s like trying to walking in wet cement. It’s only a matter of time before it dries and the person is stuck.

Peter is pointing out that Jesus died that we can be forgiven of those sins. He carried a cross and died for all our sins. Jesus took the weight of sin so we don’t have to carry it anymore. He offers us a fresh start and renews us to be a new creation.

  39. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

We cannot give that which we do not have. Live and give Jesus we must first be filled by Jesus. We need to be filled of faith and filled of his Word and filled of His Spirit through prayer. If you are running on an empty tank you dont have much to give. If you are starting to look more like the flesh and the world the the Jesus in you is ruining low. Remember that he was Holy. He was set apart. Something about Him was different he was not like the world. This city is in need of God, in need of our Lord Jesus. And the only way they can get it is if we share what we have. So we must ensure that we live and are filled with Jesus to give it to whomever we meet.

  40. 7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

We have power. God has given his people power in which we can do mighty things. The enemy wants us to believe that we are weak, but we have power. Let us go forth in the name of Jesus and proclaim his great name. We are the children of God, therefore his power runs through our veins.

  41. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

    Give me Jesus!

The world will come to us with problems and situations that we cannot solve but we have the one that can. Its not up to us to solve their problems but befriend them and lead them to the one who can help them. We are His hands and feet and must he gentle and ready to be used at all times. Even when the problem seems to be too big.

  42. “Peter said, “I don’t have a nickel to my name, but what I do have, I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!” He grabbed him by the right hand and pulled him up. In an instant his feet and ankles became firm. He jumped to his feet and walked. The man went into the Temple with them, walking back and forth, dancing and praising God. Everybody there saw him walking around and praising God. They recognized him as the one who sat begging at the Temple’s Gate Beautiful and rubbed their eyes, astonished, scarcely believing what they were seeing.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:8-10‬ ‭MSG‬‬

This Scripture means that, Anything Can Happen when Jesus enters in The Room Healings, Miracles, and Signs can happen In Jesus Name for nothing is too hard for The Lord.

  43. “and they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭KJV
Imagine this… a fire 🔥 begins as the bystanders are filled with wonder and amazement. Jesus allow their faith be mixed with your word! Revival begins now!

“So faith comes from hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the [preaching of the] message concerning Christ.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

  44. 22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

  45. 14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

All Jesus did was come that we may have life and he was denied by many over a murderer, and killed by them, but he is alive and well today. Thank God that he came and died for all of us, he didn’t have to but he loved us. I was thinking how sometimes we as people give our time to other things over him when he gave us life. I want to make sure I spend my time by not denying the holy one and the Just and giving him the praise and time he deserves.

  46. “And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    – Peter and John are again in unity.

“And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    – The lame man had expectancy. He asked for alms and the Bible doesn’t say if he was expecting alms or if his level of expectancy was for the impossible.

“Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:6-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    – This is a great example of the Gift of Faith in operation. The Gift of Faith surpasses all reason, looks impossibilities in the face and turns them into miracles.

  47. 4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

When we walk into the church sometimes we are blinded and we go and expect the same old church we have every week but we need to believe anything can happen our miracle could happen anytime

  48. 23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

We must share the gospel with everyone cause we all want to make it to the same place which is heaven! We have to pay very close attention to what is spoken cause one day we might need that word. I pray tonight that we all are sharing His word to others!!!

  49. “Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The faith that you have in the Lord should be the greatest for there is nothing that the Lord cannot do for us. I pray that we grow our faith more in the Lord daily, that we realize that he is the one who can do all miracles, God is the one who brings us to victory no matter what. I pray that we go out into this world showing the lost that there is peace with the Lord, show them what faith is and what it means, tell them how God saved you and how he can save them.

  50. ““Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.”
Acts of the Apostles 3:16 NLT

If we have faith like a mustard seed we can move the mountains, and all we need is a little faith for God to move on our behalf to restore our hearts and renewed us with a new heart. When we have faith and ask God to heal the hearts of every person God will do it. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lead not to your understanding and seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

  51. What do you have?

6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

It is only because they had been with Jesus and they had his power upon them that they could facilitate this miracle. We must examine our walk with God to be sure that when the need presents itself that we have that power to give. We cannot be full of the world and expect to give Jesus. We have the same opportunity or even greater than the apostles. Our world needs Jesus. We are the only ones that can give that to them.

  52. 7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

God can do the miraculous in bodies, minds and lives, these next days during forty days of fire we’re going to see many miracles done in our midst.

  53. “You are the children of those prophets, and you are included in the covenant God promised to your ancestors. For God said to Abraham, ‘Through your descendants all the families on earth will be blessed.’”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭3:25‬ ‭NLT

We are a blessed generation. We came from an obedient family which the Lord has blessed. Let us not be wasteful of our blessing. Share your blessing to compell people to desire to have an blessing from the Lord.

  54. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

We might not posses gold, silver, pearls or all the riches of the world. BUT we have it ALL in Jesus! In him there’s abundance in joy and love. So yes I don’t have what you need but I can give you Jesus, who can give you liberty, love, joy and everlasting life.

  55. “Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What act lead to an awesome miracle? Peter and John going to a prayer meeting! What mighty works God can do from us coming together as the Body to pray. I thank God for dwelling in the midst of our prayers

  56. Acts 3

26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

The truth was again preached saying that Jesus was sent to bless us turning away every one us from our sin.
This preaching started by those were given the faith in Jesus who is the healer.
The healing leads them to preach Jesus as in the Day of Pentecost. Healings are used by God to help introduce Jesus and the Gospel.

  57. “Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭NLT‬‬
    https://www.bible.com/116/act.3.19-20.nlt

To repent means to turn away from sin with no intentions of turning back.
When you do that the refreshing of the Holy Ghost comes on you like no other. This feeing is only a feeling God can give you. We need this refreshing every single day. I believe this is what Paul was talking about when he said die daily.
    1. Repent
    2. Replenish with a Refreshing

  58. 4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

Peter made sure to make complete eye contact with the man before praying of going further. When speaking the Word of Faith, just as it is demonstrated here, we should make sure and make sure the party we are speaking into and praying with us fully aware and knows what is happening. Ask, make eye contact, explain, and speak the word.

  59. 12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

Israelites were astonished to see this lame man walking, leaping and praising God. He had been lame since birth and denied to go into the temple all his life. Peter and John were headed to prayer but this lame man needed more than just alms. Sometimes we may be on our way to church but we can’t miss the expectant person also.

Some may marvel because they won’t understand. Israelites saw so many miracles from God that they should not be so surprised. At this point in time they mostly believed what they read from a scroll. This is a lesson for the Israelites and us that the word will line up for the past and today. By his stripes then we are still healed today. By the same blood he shed on the cross then to save us from sin still washes us clean from sin today. This is the profound message Peter is trying to establish with the Israelites that marvel at the lame mans miraculous healing. Some will grasp it and repent and some will become outraged. If the carnal and spiritually blind killed Jesus over the truth then how can we expect them to handle us with kid gloves? He sent us out like lambs among wolves or sheep to the slaughter. However he said that He will always be with us, never leave us nor forsake us. He said to Peter, feed me sheep.
