Acts Chapter 18 – FIRE2 – 18/40

Day 18:  Acts Ch.18. Today we meet Aquila and Priscilla, who provided their home for shelter and education for missionaries like Paul and Apollos. Prayerfully ask God that our homes would be an environment for sharing Christ with family, friends, and neighbors. Let us also pray for a desire to go house to house in prayer and the Word.

Acts 18

After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;

And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them.

And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.

And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.

And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean; from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

And he departed thence, and entered into a certain man’s house, named Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue.

And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.

Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:

10 For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.

11 And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

12 And when Gallio was the deputy of Achaia, the Jews made insurrection with one accord against Paul, and brought him to the judgment seat,

13 Saying, This fellow persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the law.

14 And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or wicked lewdness, O ye Jews, reason would that I should bear with you:

15 But if it be a question of words and names, and of your law, look ye to it; for I will be no judge of such matters.

16 And he drave them from the judgment seat.

17 Then all the Greeks took Sosthenes, the chief ruler of the synagogue, and beat him before the judgment seat. And Gallio cared for none of those things.

18 And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.

19 And he came to Ephesus, and left them there: but he himself entered into the synagogue, and reasoned with the Jews.

20 When they desired him to tarry longer time with them, he consented not;

21 But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.

22 And when he had landed at Caesarea, and gone up, and saluted the church, he went down to Antioch.

23 And after he had spent some time there, he departed, and went over all the country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.

24 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.

25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

27 And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

28 For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publicly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

  1. 26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

In these last days as the revelation of the power of the Holy Ghost and the promise of the baptism in Jesus name and infilling of the Holy Ghost grows through this region I believe people from all denominations will come have their own accord to seek this Revelation for themselves. I heard it put that Christians who love God but aren’t aware of the power of being feeling the Holy Ghost see the picture but they’re just missing a big piece of the puzzle. We have that missing piece. We can expand upon people the way of the Lord more perfectly just as Aquila and Priscilla did for Apollo.

  2. 9 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:

10 For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.

It has been spoken over the pulpit many times at the POFW, for the revival of the metroplex can not begin with a church being silent. Many think that for revival to happen God will simply draw people to the church, that may happen occasionally but it has to be done by a church with a voice that will be heard. We can no longer stay silent or the world will be the voice. The only agenda the church needs to push is Jesus Christ him crucified. We have to be the witness he has called us to be according to his purpose.

As the Lord spoke to Paul, he is speaking to the church to speak and hold not our peace. No man shall set on thee to hurt thee. Because God has a great number of people in this city and the metroplex. It’s up to each of us to do our part for the kingdom.

  3. 2 And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them.

No matter what you’re doing and the kingdom of God, it resonates as the work of God. Whether you’re taking in a preacher, or just doing your best to teach people what you know, God honors that. There is no job or work too small or trivial that God discredits. The work and the will of God may not be the same in method but are just as valuable to the kingdom.

  4. “Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: for I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭18:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

As. Christian and minister of the gospel…one needs to be able to see the vision and not lose focus by what is going on around whether it be in the church or in the family. The LORD JESUS will take care of all of that. Our mission will always be THE vision for the Kingdom of JESUS CHRIST. So keep your hand to the plow, much work still needed to be done in our region. I’m thankful and blessed to be laboring with my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus ♥️

    Keep the vision
    Keep the faith
    Keep the unity

We cannot allow fear to keep us from the call of God upon our lives. I personally believe fear is one of the greatest weapons the enemy uses against individuals. Whether living for God or just in every day life . Our world has been overcome by a spirit of fear. I must continually allow the peace of God to cover my mind with His Presence . Fear cannot have control in my life . Paul had to believe the voice of God and had to be obedient. This city has many people in it ; just as our city of Fort Worth , we must go and know that God will protect us . We must speak with boldness the word . I too face from time to time the fear of rejection and opposition yet I must cast it away and proclaim the word of God.
Be bold , be strong for the Lord our God is with us!
Strengthening one another in prayers and encouragement when fear tries to come in.
I had a decision to make the other day 2 people spoke with fear one with encouragement to just do it . That’s 2 against 1 yet the voice of the 1 without fear was what gave me the courage to proceed. If God before us . God says He is with us and He will not leave us . Thank you Jesus. Each day as we face fear help us to be reminded You are Light and You will go before us without Fear !

  6. 6 And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean; from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

Have you ever outreaches to someone and no matter how much you reason with them it seems like they don’t care about Christ or eternal life??? Luke 4: 24 And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country. That’s what happens to me all the time. It is hard to watch the people you love go through the path to hell and they just won’t listen. I think that’s how Paul felt here and it’s true it would get to the point that all you can do is shake your garments, clean the dust of your shoes, and go save the one that will listen. We should ALL be thankful that Paul went to save the gentiles for that is us!!!! Lord thank you for having Paul share the Good News with us and help us reach the unreachable!!! In Jesus Name Amen

  7. 9. Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:

The world needs a church that will not be afraid, but will speak to it the Word of God. There are so many carnal agendas with agents bold enough to speak out for their cause without shame or restraint. How much bolder and louder we should proclaim the Truth they need to escape an eternity in torment!

    2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

  8. I love POFW! LIVEJESUSGIVEJESUS2 I was taught early on that fear is faith in the enemy. I took this as truth and being raised to be afraid of nothing I live daily. We need to be a shining example of Jesus with our words and actions. As in our reading today God protected his own from being punished for spreading the gospel. I love reading about God taking care of business.

  9. LIVE – GIVE JESUS2

Apollos was a believer in JESUS, but had not yet been Born Again. Because Aquila and Priscillas lifestyle was one that was known to LIVE JESUS they were able and prepared to GIVE JESUS to a spiritually hungry Apollos.

When we TEACH JESUS we GIVE JESUS to those that will hear and receive the WORD of GOD.

  10. Verses 24-28 MSG “A man named Apollos came to Ephesus. He was a Jew, born in Alexandria, Egypt, and a terrific speaker, eloquent and powerful in his preaching of the Scriptures. He was well-educated in the way of the Master and fiery in his enthusiasm. Apollos was accurate in everything he taught about Jesus up to a point, but he only went as far as the baptism of John. He preached with power in the meeting place. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and told him the rest of the story. When Apollos decided to go on to Achaia province, his Ephesian friends gave their blessing and wrote a letter of recommendation for him, urging the disciples there to welcome him with open arms. The welcome paid off: Apollos turned out to be a great help to those who had become believers through God’s immense generosity. He was particularly effective in public debate with the Jews as he brought out proof after convincing proof from the Scriptures that Jesus was in fact God’s Messiah.” Someone recently shared a story with me of man who was born sick and with deformities. His mother abandoned him and left him at an orphanage. This young man grew up and through all he had to face in life, being abandoned by his own mother, having to deal with this sickness that destroyed/deformed his body; he is now a powerful man of God being used to prophetically speak to people. We never know who God is going to use and align their life with His works. How many are out there just waiting for someone to pull them aside and share the rest of the story with them??? Let us LIVE-GIVE JESUS² as we reach for all of the Apollos out there!

  11. 26 and he began to speak boldly in the synagogue
Whom when Aquila and Priscilla have heard
, they took him unto them and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.
    —-
🙏 that the Lord would give us grace so when that happens
To us, The opportunity to share the gospel with them who have heard or have an idea but don’t know the full truth about
    Salvation.
Also that the Lord would soften their hearts to receive it
    With faith and joy.
    —-
🙏 that the lord would break the made up mind sets from
Traditions so that they will receive the truth.

  12. scriptures, came to Ephesus.

Again we see evidence of good Christians that hace great disciplines but lack the fullness of truth being converted. My prayer is God send us devout people, who when the fullness of truth is shared, them become fully converted. These type ppl will be steadfast and unmovable .

  13. 14 And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or wicked lewdness, O ye Jews, reason would that I should bear with you:

Paul did not have to defend himself. God had already taken care of his defense by providing Gallio with the words to say. God will have your back when you are doing His work.

  14. 3 And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.
4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
5 And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.

Every week Paul would witness, and every week people would decide not to believe. Many times this scripture is referenced by people, who have been rejected, and quit reaching for certain ones. But many times, these “Christians “ were only rejected once or twice. Paul was rejected repeatedly. Jesus wants everyone saved, and the only way is to keep reaching for the lost, through the rejection. We cannot spend everything one reaching one person who keeps turning us down, but rather send them a gentle encouragement and reach for more.

  15. 6But when they opposed and insulted him, Paul shook the dust from his clothes and said, “Your blood is upon your own heads—I am innocent. From now on I will go preach to the Gentiles.”

On a daily basis, we have to shake the enemy off. Let’s not be discouraged when someone rejects you when trying to speak to them about God. You did your part, and God sees that, it’s up to the individual to believe. Let’s continue in spreading his Word, and reaching the lost.

  16. 9 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:
10 For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.

Not everyone is going to accept the gospel we share, but do not be discouraged! Shake the dust from your feet and move on to the next soul who’s open and ready to receive the Word. God is with us and wants to see us continue doing His good work! Let’s serve today in Jesus Name!

  17. 6 And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean; from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

He knew exactly WHO they were rejecting. He didn’t take it personal. He left and kept on doing what GOD wanted him to do!!!

  18. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus2
5 And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.

We all need what Paul got ahold of here. Paul was pressed in the spirit. He was not depressed, he was not oppressed, he was not possessed, but pressed. I pray God would press us in our spirit and we would allow the Living Water to flow

  19. Acts 18:5-8
    5) And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.
    6) And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.
    7) And he departed thence, and entered into a certain man’s house, named Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue.
    8) And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the LORD with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.

    “Shake It Off”
Like Paul, when testifying and witnessing to someone about JESUS, and you feel like they are rejecting you and opposing what you are saying, the best thing you can do is just “Shake It Off’ and go to the next person or persons.
That next person (Crispus) or persons (Corinthians) just may be the one or ones who will Believe and be Baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost and be Saved.

  20. 25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.
26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.
28 For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publicly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

Not only do we each need to be able to teach the scriptures, but we also need to be teachable. As we learn it we can also give it to whoever the Lord brings our way.

  21. Acts of the Apostles 18:9-11
[9]One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, “Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t be silent!
[10]For I am with you, and no one will attack and harm you, for many people in this city belong to me.”
[11]So Paul stayed there for the next year and a half, teaching the word of God.

Wherever we we go and whoever we talk to about Jesus the Lord is with us every step of the way. We can’t be afraid or silent. Our world needs Jesus.

  22. 9 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:

10 For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.

11 And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

  23. Acts 18: 9- 10 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision. Be not afraid , but speak , and hold not thy peace.
10 For I am with thee, to hurt thee for I have much people in this city.
    11) And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.
Don’t be afaid , We all have vision and a hope with Jesus and Jesus only.
    Live Jesus – Give Jesus

  24. 8 And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.
9 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:
10 For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee

Many times when we see great things happen, we see great trials afterwards, proving that we either are stronger in our faith and convictions than we thought, or that we need more work in areas…

  25. v5 And when Silas and Timothy were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.

The message of the church has not changed from the day that Peter first declared it… repentance of sin, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin, and receiving the Holy Ghost. Without question, the apostles whom Jesus selected preached no other message of salvation.

Jesus Christ is the Jesus the Messiah, Jehovah- Saviour the Anointed One! The only one who lived up to the meaning of that name.
The question still remains weather Jesus of Nazareth was the Messiah.
According to numerous witnesses the answer is resoundingly affirmative.
1.The Witness of the Angelic Messengers to the Shepherds ( Luke 2:8-18).

    2.The Witness of Simeon ( Luke 2: 25-35).

    3.The Witness of Anna ( Luke 2: 36-38)

4.The Witness of the wise Men ( Matthew 2:1-2).

    5. The Witness of Peter ( Matthew 16 :15-18 ).

    6. The Witness of the Five Thousand ( John 6: 14-15).

    7. The Witness of Martha (John11:27).

    8. The Witness of the Jerusalem Crowd ( Matthew 21:6-9).

9.The Witness of Joseph of Arimathaea (Luke 23:51).

    10. The Witness of Jesus ‘ Claims ( Luke 4:16-22).

    11. The Apostolic Witness (Acts 18:5).

    JESUS IS LORD OF ALL!

  26. 25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

The beauty of the Living Word and plan of salvation is seen here. We do not need to be well educated in the Word, we only need to understand the basics and repentance to be a wittness for Christ.

  27. “One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, “Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t be silent! For I am with you, and no one will attack and harm you, for many people in this city belong to me.””
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭18:9-10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We as Christians in the kingdom of god can’t be afraid to speak the name of Jesus. We have no reason to fear for we have a god who is on our side. We have to walk in boldness and not fear. This world needs a church who will not be afraid to stand up and speak the word of the lord. There may be times when people may reject what is being said but we should continue to speak the word of the lord. Our world need us and we can’t begin to loose our faith in the one true god. He is with us always we have no reason to fear.

  28. “Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭18:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul has run into trouble nearly everywhere he has ministered. In every instance, he had not been able to settle down and really preach for any length of time, because the Jews would come in and force him to leave. We see here, that God is telling Paul to settle down and preach boldly, that God Himself will protect him from any harm. What a promise!

  29. 26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

This is why Bible studies are important. For those that do not know the word of God, the children of the most high can tell them. However, we must not be ashamed to tell others about Jesus. We must declare his name each and every day. God knows how to bless and keep his people. There is no God like our God.

  30. Acts 18

25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

There may be a day when we may have to go house to house as the churches will be closed, and we will have to preach Jesus under the radar. We need to be prepared in case this comes to pass. Apollos had been encouraged to teach and taught others that Jesus was the Messiah. This is an example of what we need to do!
Thank you Jesus for this day.

  31. “One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, “Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t be silent! For I am with you, and no one will attack and harm you, for many people in this city belong to me.””
Acts of the Apostles 18:9-10 NLT

God command Paul to be strong and of courage to speak the truth to the citizens. God command us not to be afraid nor be dismayed for Lord our God is with us where ever you go. God is for us in every step we take. He will help to teach and preach His good news.

  32. “One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, “Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t be silent!”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭18:9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Many people in this world now days are influenced by the enemy and used by the enemy, they will try to tear us down from preaching the word of God and distract us. But as the Lords children we should know that God is protecting us while we spread his word and do his work. Do not listen to those trying to bring you down, do not be afraid make that want you to be louder and preach his word more and more. I pray tonight that we do whatever it takes to do Gods work, and I pray we realize that nothing can stop you for you are Gods child and he is always protecting you and guiding you.

  33. 10 For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.

God loves us all no matter who or what we have done in the past. We are His people! In the scripture I have above it is simply stating that God will never leave us or forsake us. Every human being on this earth is His, and in the scripture it says so. If we are His people and know what is right, why do we do wrong? The answer to this question can be a multiple choice. Temptation is one of the main ones cause people get tempt by others, things, and spirits. I hope tonight that our hearts are full of Him, and ready to receive more!!! I pray tonight that you recognize your worth, and know that you are wonderfully made!!!

  34. 7 And he departed thence, and entered into a certain man’s house, named Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue.

8 And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.

  35. 28 For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publicly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

Oh the day that we go back to really knowing that word of God so well that we show others Christ through Hid perfect word. Oh the days that we become the perfect reflection of who Jesus is that we may give Jesus to others. It should be our priority to find him and become Him in all manner of our lives.

  36. Acts 18:9,10 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Keep preaching boldly in Jesus Name!

  37. “Apollos had been thinking about going to Achaia, and the brothers and sisters in Ephesus encouraged him to go. They wrote to the believers in Achaia, asking them to welcome him. When he arrived there, he proved to be of great benefit to those who, by God’s grace, had believed.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭18:27‬ ‭NLT

Are you benefiting the kingdom of God. As a Christian we must expand the kingdom of God by doing works for God. We have to prove that we are benefiting the kingdom by reaching soul, cleaning, singing, teaching and servicing. We must benefit the kingdom of God.

  38. 26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

As we stand up and start speaking boldly to those around us about Jesus. Many may not accept it. But there will be someone who will hear you and accept it, and rise boldly to do the same for His kingdom! So have no fear and let us stand up courageously and boldly and speak/live Jesus!

  39. 19 And he came to Ephesus, and left them there: but he himself entered into the synagogue, and reasoned with the Jews.
    20 When they desired him to tarry longer time with them, he consented not;
21 But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.

When the people asked Pail to stay longer and confer with him, he refused. Stating that he needed to move on and do other things, but that he did have plans of returning. And he left.

“. . . being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. . . he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. . . they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.” Paul’s ministry grew that day. Paul learned a lot that day and turned around and used it immediately and spoke boldly to a multitude of people. Sometimes leaving and following the Will of God is the best thing for us. Even though others may say we need to stay put in our current situation. If it is His Will, we will grow, learn, and perfect our ministry as well.

  40. He refuted the Jews with powerful arguments in public debate. Using the Scriptures, he explained to them that Jesus was the Messiah.
Acts of the Apostles 18:28 NLT

Where is that in the bible? We must be well rooted in this Word of God. It is for our own good and salvation and that of others. We cannot allow ourselves to be deceived by every wind of doctrine but we must be well acquainted with the Word. Just because some speaks out of passion with influence doesn’t mean its truth and anointed. Know the Word. Its your defences against all deception and against the enemy.

  41. 28 For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publicly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

The easiest way to win somebody and show them the truth is by letting scripture interpret scripture

  42. “For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭18:28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This is what we should be doing. We should be speaking to it’s those around us. I e should be planting new beli Vera so deep In Jesus that they are telling those around them and converting those around them.

  43. “One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, “Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t be silent! For I am with you, and no one will attack and harm you, for many people in this city belong to me.” So Paul stayed there for the next year and a half, teaching the word of God.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭18:9-11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

There’s nothing that can come close to the assurance that God has you covered. And His covering is not something we can buy for use at our own freewill. It is through our submission and obedience that His covering is extended to us.
