Acts Chapter 2 – FIRE2 – 39/40

Day 39: Acts Ch.2. Have we lost our sense of “awe” when it comes to God and His presence in His Church and among His people? When we gather for worship, are we going through the motions, or do we come anticipating God to show up and do something? We need to bring back the awe of God, the majesty of God, the awesomeness of God in our worship; and that means God has to do a work within us. Ask God to help restore in you the awe and majesty of being in His presence.

Acts 2

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

  1. 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

We continue to pray that our 10 to win will have softened hearts and open minds and say what must I do to be saved! Then they will hear the apostolic message Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost. There is still a great harvest of souls coming!

  2. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

This was the prophecy that was spoken by the prophet Joel more than 800 years before Peter stood and made the acknowledgment of the outpouring of Gods spirit. How great was this that they were going to see prophecy fulfilled. We as the apostolic church will again see the great outpouring of Gods spirit in this endtime revival of the church. We shall see many as they did during the day of Pentecost. There will be a time where it may seem that the church is unprepared but we will be able to handle the outpouring because God is getting us ready with those that are being baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost now. This is just preparation.

We have to be bold like Peter and the apostles along with the disciples that tarried in the upper room waiting on the promises of God. We can not miss the great harvest because we don’t know how to be patient and wait on God. We have to be mentally, physically, and spiritually prepared for this great harvest. For our work will not be in vain. Let’s live give Jesus till he calls his church home.

  3. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved

While I appreciate and do love the parts of this chapter where Peter is being very bold and telling the people what to do as well as their hearts being pricked, this part stands out to me the most because I believe it is the key to revival. This Verse says they continued daily in one Accord in the breaking of bread with gladness of heart and the lord gave them favor. It’s not enough to just follow that three-step plan of salvation but to stay connected to the body of Christ continually. Salvation is not a simple instruction of being baptized and born in the spirit it is a continual thing that you do every single day walking in the spirit as a part of the body, such as should be saved.

  4. 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

One of the most common perceptions of the Christian faith is that salvation comes from the belief in Jesus. Thusly, many people are covinced of their saving grace through their belief. Additionally, many believe that their salvation is secure though baptism. James speaks of works and faith. The key element in the above verse is repent. Thusly, a truely secure condition of salvation is maintaining the state of repentantance and showing our faith by good works. Additionally, fulfilling the ordainance of baptism as an outward demonstation of our faith is a requirement that should not be neglected. Nevertheless, an outreach ministry should be perpared to address the strongest deception from the Devil, which has convinced the worldly that the are saved because of their believe in Jesus or they have been baptized.

  5. Acts 2

Brothers, (BI)what shall we do?” 38 And Peter said to them, (BJ)“Repent and (BK)be baptized every one of you (BL)in the name of Jesus Christ (BM)for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive (BN)the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For (BO)the promise is for you and (BP)for your children and for all (BQ)who are far off, everyone (BR)whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”

    We cannot stop there !

42 And (BV)they devoted themselves to the apostles’ (BW)teaching and the (BX)fellowship, to (BY)the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe[d] came upon every soul, and (BZ)many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.

We must devote ourselves to spreading The Word . Help me Lord to be sensitive in Your Power to everyone I meet …

  6. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
This is the solid word of God and we should share with every one we know! It still thrills me when I think a out coming up out of the water and all my sins are forgiven an d Jesus remembers nothing! How great is our God…I say how great is our God! I am praying for my 10 to win and God WILL answer! I love POFW! LIVEJESUSGIVEJESUS2

  7. Acts 2:37-38 & 41
    37) Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
    38) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of JESUS Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

    41) Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

They heard what Peter was saying, and they were pricked in their hearts. Then, when he preached the Plan of Salvation to them, they gladly received his word and were baptized, and 3,000 souls were added unto them.

If it happened back then, It Will Happen Today.

  8. 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

There were added to the company of believers that day about three thousand souls. If the best proof of a Holy Spirit ministry is the conversion of souls, then surely Peter’s was that kind of ministry. Doubtless, this Galilean fisherman was reminded. Of the words of the Lord Jesus, I will make you fishers of man (Matt.4:19). And perhaps of the savior’s saying most assuredly, I say to you,he who believes in Me the works that I do he will do also and greater works than these he will do because I go to My Father ( John 14:12)

  9. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

In the temple they continued to work to advance the Kingdom of God daily. Breaking of bread from house to house the talked about this new Church, growing in truth with one accord. Singleness of heart means they all had the same vision, goals, and heartbeat. I pray that we as the Church today, though God uses us in different ways would still have shared vision and heartbeat as we advance our Kingdom on earth. God called is to this. We will rule with Him as kings and priests. Hallelujah!

  10. Verse 36 MSG “All Israel, then, know this: There’s no longer room for doubt—God made him Master and Messiah, this Jesus whom you killed on a cross.” Eyes are being opened as scales are falling off and we have to be ready as Pastor reminded us last night when we too are posed the question as verse 37 MSG says “…….. “Brothers! Brothers! So now what do we do?” And our answer will be as Peter’s as we read in verses 38-39 MSG “Peter said, “Change your life. Turn to God and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, so your sins are forgiven. Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is targeted to you and your children, but also to all who are far away—whomever, in fact, our Master God invites.” Then as verse 43 ESV says “And awe[d] came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.” LIVE-GIVE JESUS² in AWE!

  11. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

Every word God has spoken will come to pass. Joel prophesied that God would pour out the Holy Ghost and may have been years in the making but it happened.
God will hold true to his word

  12. 2:12,37 and they were all amazed and were in doubt saying one to another, what meaner this?
Now when they heard this they were pricked in their heart and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles
Men and brethren, what shall we do?
    ——-
    Two questions here:
    What does this mean?
    What shall we do?
Why these two questions? Because of they saw and heard.
They saw and heard something different that had never been heard before.
It is my desire and my prayer that every guest of PoFW
Or other churches, that they may ask themselves the same questions.
Praying for every church and Pastor that still don’t have the revelation of acts 2:38.
I want everyone but specially my love ones to
See and hear the wonderful things that the Good Lord has done and is doing us.
The Lord our God is among us. Hallelujah 🙌

  13. 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Tell everyone you know about Jesus and pray they are open to receiving His word. If so their heart will be convicted, they will repent, be baptized and receive the greatest gift of all, the Holy Spirit.

  14. 21But everyone who calls on the name of the LORD
    will be saved.

One day everyone will be calling that name, Jesus. It’s up to us to reach and teach the lost about the Word. We want everyone to be touched, converted, baptized and saved.

  15. Acts 2:36-40

Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

If we could testify like Peter did on this day anything could happen.
    He spoke with scripture
    He spoke with Boldness
    He spoke with courage
    He spoke with authority
    And he shared prophecy
Our approach should be with a few if not all of these things. We can do this. You can do this I believe in each of you that read this blog. You’re in partnership with God and it’s your turn to share what God has done in your life and what he can do in others!

  16. Acts 2: 16-17 But this is that which was spoken by the phophet Joel.
    (17) And it shall come to pass in the last day’s, saith God, I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.
Following Pentecost , greater things begin to happen. Peter preached and immediately three thousand were added to the church. Many more were added daily as the disciples preached.
God word will hold and come to pass.
It will happen and everyone will see and hear.
    Get ready Pofw!

  17. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared in to them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Ready to see this again tomorrow when we all gather for Pentecost Sunday 🙌🏼 All will be filled with the Holy Ghost in Jesus Name!

  18. Acts of the Apostles 2:25-26,28
[25]King David said this about him: ‘I see that the lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.
[26]No wonder my heart is glad, and my tongue shouts his praises! My body rests in hope.
[28]You have shown me the way of life,   and you will fill me with the joy of your presence.’

The Lord is always with us and for us. He loves us all.

    Psalms 118:17,19-20,24,29
[17]I will not die; instead, I will live to tell what the lord has done.
[19]Open for me the gates where the righteous enter, and I will go in and thank the lord.
[20]These gates lead to the presence of the lord, and the godly enter there.
[24]This is the day the lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.
[29]Give thanks to the lord, for he is good His faithful love endures forever.

  19. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus2
Wow!!! What a tremendous message preached last night! Brother Adams was so right. There wasn’t a lot of hype here when the Holy Ghost fell but there was a lot of hunger. The Holy Ghost showed up and BOOM folks started receiving. When brother Adams was preaching, my mind went to the Azusa street revival. Folks were hungry for a genuine move of God. If we as the church could move past thinking the minister is a motivational speaker and move into the vain of wanting a relationship with the King then we would experience God’s Glory.

  20. LIVE – GIVE JESUS2
    ONE ACCORD ONE PLACE

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

This action seems simple to a group of people who are all seeking and expecting the same thing. 10 days of waiting in anticipation for a promise from the resurrected savior JESUS. HIS instructions were simple: GO, TARRY. But it took 10 days to finally get everyone with ONE ACCORD in ONE PLACE.

This is my spiritual desire and prayer for every worship gathering. But, someone is offended, someone has gossiped, someone has been dishonest, someone was rude or disrespectful, someone doesn’t understand the actions of another we struggled with ONE ACCORD.

ACCORD – 3661. homothymadon; adverb from a compound of the base of 3674 and 2372; unanimously: — with one accord (mind).

It means unanimously thinking the same thing. They finally were able to get every mind on the Holy Ghost, the promise of JESUS and the power of JESUS.

This is my prayer for Pentecost Sunday at The POFW. But we must have the mind of Christ, we must dismiss and ignore distractions. JESUS will pour out HIS SPIRIT as we are with ONE ACCORD (Mind of Christ) in ONE PLACE (The POFW).

    In JESUS Name.

  21. 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

God is not the author of confusion, so He will always have someone in the midst with clear direction. Are we that “someone?” Will we be the one who has spent time in HIS presence, seeking HIS face, listening for HIS Word?

As we draw nigh to Him, He will draw nigh to us, and give us that Godly wisdom and words fitly spoken to be given out as needed. As Bro. Adams said last night, we can’t be so full of the world that there is no room for the Spirit of God to flow freely within us. Let’s empty ourselves out of the distractions of life, the cares of life, the burdens of life, and be still in His presence and see what He will speak to us today, who He will speak to us today to call.

  22. 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

This chapter starts out with a death punch to the Devil and we don’t realize it. We just read right over this one. The impact of the chapter that we celebrate and have based our lives around starts right here. They were all with one accord in one place.

In one accord- There were not all jammed into one Honda Accord…. to be in the same mindset, to have the same goals and passions, to be burdened with the same burden, to be in total unity.

We have been doing this long enough that we understand how difficult it is to get people in the same page. No matter how much you plan and organize you have rebellion, you have folks with their own ideas, folks that don’t trust their leaders enough to get on board. If we are going to experience what we long to experience in the Kingdom of God we must be in one accord. We must get in the same page… EVERYONE.

In one place- this seems to be easy. But it’s not. To get everyone here at the same time is a struggle and it comes with sacrifice. People have their schedules, work schedules, children’s activities etc… so to all be in one place at the same time will take sacrifice from all directions. This sacrifice of time is the greatest way to get Gods attention. God knows we are loving on borrowed time because we borrowed it from him. He knows how precious time is to us so when we sacrifice it, His eyebrows rise to see what’s going on.

You put both these in one accord and in one place together, you have the recipe for a miracle. You have sacrifice, unity and Gods attention.

We have the opportunity to have all 3 this morning. We can have all 3 this whole weekend. We must

  23. Acts Chapter 2

    16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

Theas verses are past present and future. Let us look up and see the wonders of the Lord and our Christ and participate in the spreading of the Gospel. For Pentecost has already come to us.

  24. vs-4
And they were filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
On the symbolically significant Day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit falls visibly on the gathered disciples and they begin to speak in other tongues.
Like all of us you always rember when you were filled with the Holy Ghost. I was sitting on the pew at church and i felt the Lord like never before and began to speak in tongues. Wow!!!!! for my self i was full for about 3 days

  25. On the day of Pentecost, Peter referred to Joel’s message and declared that the foretold day had arrived.

It’s for you and i….The Holy Ghost.Jesus has fulfilled His promise

  26. Acts 2
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and daughters will prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

This has happened in the past and will happen again! The day of Pentecost was so awesome and I am so looking forward to tomorrow!
Thank you Jesus for all the signs and wonders and all you do!

  27. 37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

There will come a day when people will ask what to do. As the children of God, we must be ready to answer. Jesus is still the answer today. Don’t try to seek a way around what his word says. It is by his word alone we must be saved. Jesus is still the one true God.

  28. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

The Spirit filled the house and everyone was filled with the Holy Ghost. When the house was filled, the people were filled, and then it was poured outside the house to others. May there be this type of revival poured out upon this church and region.

  29. 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

We are all one under His name. The 3 steps to salvation are found in Acts 2:38 saying that we must repent, be baptized in Jesus name, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. When we are in our ups and downs call on Jesus. You can call on Him for any of your problems and situations. By just calling on His name miracles can happen, people can be saved, people can be delivered I can go on and on if things He can do once you call on His name! I pray tonight that no matter what type of situation you are in, that we are all calling on His name!!!

  30. “And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬
The presence of the Lord and his miracles are all amazing and miraculous! As they were witnesses to seeing them being filled with the Holy Spirit, we can all be witnesses of the Lord tomorrow! Let us all gather together be ready in the spirit let the Lord use you to help those hurting those lost in fear and darkness of the enemy lead them to the peace of the Lord. Show them he is the everlasting God and he is the only one we need to have a life filled with peace, strength, light and joy!

  31. “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When we are united as one body in Christ it’s amazing what he can do. I pray that we continue to always come into his house on one accord clearing out all that may be going on currently so that god can move by his power every single service. Anything can happen when we are United as one body and one spirit with god at the center of it all.

  32. 40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

    “Gladly”
One key in receiving The Word and being saved is “gladly “ receiving it.
Jesus wants us to serve Him, and to give, not “be-grudgingly “ or out of necessity, but because we want to, as an expression of appreciation, and love..

  33. “They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity —”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭2:46‬ ‭NLT

There is great joy in God. Rejoice because the Lord is wonderful. Remember the promises that God promises and miracles. Rejoice, dance, love for God because he is great.

  34. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

This is a snapshot of heaven…every people from every nation speaking one thing. The praises of God. It is very interesting to note that the very same thing that God used to divide men, the tongue, it’s the very same thing that the Lord uses as evidence that they are one, or in unity with Him. We are one with Him that fills us. For we no longer speak what we know in reason, but we speak in prayer in tongues what the Spirit gives us. Therefore we speak the same thing in one.

  35. 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

People receiving the word and getting baptized in response is Apostolic. It amazes me that make churches that I know of, put people they this long process vetting people that gladly receive the word.

Don’t complicate the process. And we will see God do amazing things.

  36. 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

God did not stutter!! This truth is for EVERYONE!! His did not exemplify anyone from it, he did not miss anyone, or not make it available to a certain person!! FOR EVERYONE!!

  37. And when it was noises abroad

People have to know. If people don’t know, they won’t come. They won’t know what you need or that you care. They won’t know that Jesus loves them and that we care. We have to make sure they people know.

  38. 40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

We cannot forget to save ourselves. Yes it’s important to reach the lost but we can’t get lost in this world. We are no good if we act like the world and talk like the world. We must be holy and set apart.

  39. “For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:39‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I praise in advance not only for myself but for my family, my friends, my neighbors, the church, my children, my , etc. I praise for the souls that have impacted my life as well as those I will impact. I thank you Jesus for Your premise being for everyone, not just a select few.
