Micah 1

The word of the Lord that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord God be witness against you, the Lordfrom his holy temple.

For, behold, the Lord cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.

For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?

Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.

And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.

Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.

For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.

10 Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust.

11 Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing.

12 For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the Lord unto the gate of Jerusalem.

13 O thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.

14 Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.

15 Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.

16 Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.

3 For, behold, the Lord cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

The peoples are summoned by the Lord God to hear His message of judgment as He leaves His holy temple, the place of blessing, to witness against them. A fair warning of love.

  2. 3 For, behold, the Lord cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

4 And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.

This word that came to Micah, describes where folks are today that are among us that state they are Christians and they love God, but their actions state otherwise. Just know that there will come a time for each of us, Christian and sinner alike, to pay the consequences of every deed, word, or missed opportunity. The scripture tells us God is no respect or of persons and He will rain on the just and unjust alike. It is time to be completely sold out to the kingdom of God and stop playing church. It’s time to be the church God called us to be.

It’s revival time, it’s time to work and go out and compel them to come and set at the master’s table. We have to be the example.

  3. 2 Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord God be witness against you, the Lordfrom his holy temple.

God is the perfect balance of righteous judge and merciful father. Willing to endure through many things while his children learn how to to walk in obedience and a judge against those who are disobedient. Scripture tells us that God will not be mocked but whatsoever a man so that shall he also reap.

  4. 3 For, behold, the Lord cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth

The day of judgement is coming. Even though it may seem that the Lord is postponing His return, we are assured that His judgement of transgressions will be according to His perfect timing.

  5. 3. Look! The LORD is coming! He leaves his throne in heaven and tramples the heights of the earth.

    4. The mountains melt beneath his feet and flow into the valleys like wax in a fire, like water pouring down a hill.

    5. And why is this happening? Because of the rebellion of Israel – yes, the sins of the whole nation. Who is to blame for Israel’s rebellion? Samaria, its capital city! Where is the center of idolatry in Judah? In Jerusalem, its capital! NLT

God had finally had it up to here with their sin and decided he wouldn’t put off their punishment any longer.
Don’t be among the guilty the next time he decides to draw the line and say, “That’s enough!” Once the line is drawn and the time has come, it will too late to change, then.

  6. REPENT

My brothers and sisters please, don’t let your sin or the situation that your in write the book for the rest of your Life. Our God is forgiving. He’s merciful. He came down from his heavily thrown and gave himself as the sacrifice, for our sinful deeds!

Repent for your rebellion for your witchcraft

“And why is this happening? Because of the rebellion of Israel— yes, the sins of the whole nation. Who is to blame for Israel’s rebellion? Samaria, its capital city! Where is the center of idolatry in Judah? In Jerusalem, its capital!”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  7. Micah 1-2-3 Hear , all ye people, hearken, O earth, and all that therein is, and let the Lord, God be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.
    (3) For, behold, the Lord cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
1 John 2:1 My little children , these things write I unto you, that ye not.
And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
The name Micah is the shorter foam of Michaiah and means ,, Who is like the Lord?
Judgement is also coming on the false prophets who tell the people what they want to hear, rather than the truth from God.
Repent and turn away from sin and returned to Jesus while there is time.
Someday every knee is going to bow and every tongue is going to confess that Jesus is Lord of Lord and King of Kings.

  8. ‭‭Micah‬ ‭1:2-3‬ ‭AMP “Hear, O peoples, all of you; Listen closely, O earth and all that is in it, And let the Lord God be witness [giving a testimony of the judgment] against you, The Lord from His holy temple [in the heavens]. For behold, the Lord is coming down from His place He shall come down and tread [in judgment] on the high places of the earth.”

Judgement is coming for all. Time is running out.Are you ready? We have been warned. Now is the time for the harvest to be brought in.

  9. “Harness your chariot horses and flee, you people of Lachish. You were the first city in Judah to follow Israel in her rebellion, and you led Jerusalem into sin. Send farewell gifts to Moresheth-gath; there is no hope of saving it. The town of Aczib has deceived the kings of Israel.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭1:13-14‬ ‭NLT‬‬
As we face the day put on the whole armor of God shielding yourselves from deception and fear. We need to be careful when trying to win the world for the kingdom of God we can’t let the world deceive us we have to reminder selves who’s leading who the first thing we must do is abandon ourselves so that we could follow Christ.

  10. 9 For my people’s wound is too deep to heal. It has reached into Judah, even to the gates of Jerusalem.
    Micah 1:9 NLT

    https://bible.com/bible/116/mic.1.9.NLT

This makes me think of being in the ICU. When wounds go too deep they need immediate and evasive action to keep the person alive and to prevent infection.
Same when someone is wounded too deep emotionally or spiritually it takes that deeper work in prayer and intensive care at the altar to treat those deep wounds.

  11. Palabra de DIOS, estipula que en estos tiempos muchos dicen senor yo soy tu hijo y hago tus mandatos pero solo de palabra y no por acciones por eso es el castigo a los que piensan que pueden burlar a nuestro senor.

  12. For my people’s wound is too deep to heal. It has reached into Judah, even to the gates of Jerusalem.
    Micah 1:9 NLT

A day is coming where it will actually be too late. We cannot keep walking in circles with sin, it’s time to wake up and wholeheartedly follow after Jesus and His Word. God is ready to heal the wounded, but too many are wallowing in pity parties of sin and pride to see that there’s still time to repent and praise their way to victory. Don’t let the enemy take your praise, don’t let him win any more battles – it’s time we stand up with the Armor of God and save ourselves!

  13. Micah 1:5 (Kjv)
“For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel….”
    Micah 1:5 (AMP)
“All this is because of the rebellion and apostasy of Jacob and for the sins of the house of Israel (the Northern Kingdom). What is the rebellion and apostasy of Jacob? Is it not (the abandonment of God in order to worship idols of) Samaria? What are the high places (of idolatry) in Judah (the Southern Kingdom)? Are they not Jerusalem ( the capital and center of corruption)?

Their transgression and sins of rebellion and apostasy (the act of totally abandoning religion) had angered God. They had left their First Love (God Almighty) and were worshiping false gods – idols.

When we allow other things to take precedence in our life over God, they become idols to us. We leave our First Love – JESUS – and worship them.
If this has happened in your life, the Time is NOW to Repent, Get Back To Your First Love – JESUS, and Live Whole Heartily For HIM.
HE’S the only One True Living God!! And HIM only shalt thou Serve!!

  14. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus2
This is a chapter of judgement and shame for both Israel and Judah. This is sad for the fact that these folks were still religious but yet they were not saved. It’s kinda like the set up we have today. All these different denominations preaching about Jesus but yet having all these idols set up. They preach that if you say the sinner’s prayer you’re saved. Most allow folks to do whatever they want to do and still receive the blessing of the church.

  15. Vs-1
Samaria and Jerusalem: The two seats of government of the northern and southern kingdoms respectively are addressed. The capitals are the seats of corruption which filtered down to and infected the entire kingdoms.

  16. I totally agree with Bro. Morgan! We need to read the word over and over. We are getting close to the end and as for me I want to be ready! I love POFW! LIVEJESUSGIVEJESUS2

    Nothing is sacred anymore.
This world we live in has lost integrity and the love fir God snd His sovereignty of His Word

The prophet declares listen and hear . We must make sure we are capable of hearing! This means we must STOP and truly hear what the Word of God us saying lest we be as Israel warned but not listening .
We cannot become just another religious group with do this and don’t do that ! We must guard what we know is the truth of the word of God. We cannot just look the part but we must truly hide all of the principles within our hearts again lest we get entangled with the sins of this world. Old fashioned , out of date some may say but anything of value can be preserved and cared for. Help me help us to hide your Word daily in our heart that we may not sin against You Jesus. In Jesus name .

  18. Micah 1:3,5
[3]Look! The lord is coming! He leaves his throne in heaven and tramples the heights of the earth.
[5]And why is this happening? Because of the rebellion of Israel— yes, the sins of the whole nation.
Who is to blame for Israel’s rebellion?  Samaria, its capital city! Where is the center of idolatry in Judah? In Jerusalem, its capital!

Jesus is coming back very soon. Turn from sinful and rebellious ways. Turn to God. He loves you and wants you to be saved.

    WHEN GOD SAYS ENOUGH

2 Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord God be witness against you, the Lordfrom his holy temple.
3 For, behold, the Lord cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

GOD is Jealous and idolatry provokes HIM to jealousy. When the LORD saw that man was too weak to destroy the idols, HE bare his mighty arm to clean HIS House of the idolatry. GOD SAID ENOUGH!

  20. AMP – 2 Hear, O peoples, all of you;
Listen closely, O earth and all that is in it,
And let the Lord God be witness [giving a testimony of the judgment] against you,
The Lord from His holy temple [in the heavens].

Judgement is coming – we must be prepared. We must take the time now to sure up our foundation, make sure all is sturdy and safe and built on the Word of God. Nothing else matters. All the little things we allow to distract us from our purpose is not going to matter in the coming days. When judgement comes, there’s no turning back, no chance to make it right. Do it now while there is time.

  21. 2 Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord God be witness against you, the Lordfrom his holy temple.
3 For, behold, the Lord cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

This is the warning and he says their wounds are incurable. Incurable to me says that no matter what he sends his prophets to say and declare to his people, it no longer has any affect. Their hearts and minds have hardened to the place where only judgement is left. Today, the Lord is waiting on people to get ready for his second coming. We must pray that every soul that can be saved…will be saved. My prayer is that hearts and minds will be softened and open. He hasn’t come, so there are those he is waiting on to get right with him. Whether it is me or those I pray for, I pray we are all ready when he comes for his bride!

The sad thing is that many Christians is in name only, we are not sold out to God. We let things of the world take precedence over God.

  23. 5And why is this happening? Because of the rebellion of Israel—yes, the sins of the whole nation.

We are responsible, yes by nature we sin. We are not perfect, but we can strive to be. Give thanks to God who is a gracious God. We ask for forgiveness, and he forgives us. Lets do our best to please God, and feed ourselves with his Word.

  24. And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.

5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?

6 Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations

Glory be to our lord Jesus king

  25. “Look! The Lord is coming! He leaves his throne in heaven and tramples the heights of the earth.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The Lord is soon to return and we should have this same urgency in telling everyone we come in contact with about His gospel.

  26. 7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.

God hates stuff we put before him he is a jealous God When he comes back all the stuff we put before him will be destroyed we need to put God first in our lives

  27. Micah 1

6 Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stone thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations

It amazes me yet to this day how God helped the Israelites and they turned to sin and idols after all He did for them. I think this is happeing now. I heard that in 1970 they did a survery of households that had Christian values in their home, it was 75%. The same survey done today about teaching good values in the home is 4%!!!
We must fight hard this fight and we will defeat the enemy as Jesus knows it will be so!!!!!!
Thank you Jesus for this day.

  28. 3 For, behold, the Lord cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

Sometimes God comes just a little closer than we expect him sometimes to deliver something we needed or really need in that time. If it feels like God is closer to you and you feel the pull don’t run but run closer.

The Lord pointed out that the only ones to blame for the sin in Israel is Israel. We can apply this to the Church today. It isn’t the world around us that is affecting the Church, this is an internal issue. God has already given us the victory. No matter what the world is doing, the Church should always stand strong because we walk in victory. Just as Pastor says in his sermons – Whenever we have problems arise, we need to examine our walk with God first.

  30. 7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.

We must always have our hearts clean and unto Him. This verse reminded me of Jesable. Jesable was a harlot. The Jesable spirit still lives today and is not good. We don’t want this ever near us for it can bring big trouble. We must have a filter on our hearts to ignore this evil. Guess what?! God is our filter. His word tells us what is right from wrong, we chose to either ignore it or follow it! I pray tonight that we are following according to His word and filter out the evil within some of us!

  31. 5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?

Can you hear the clap as you read it?? “. . . What is the transgression of Jacob? is👏🏼it 👏🏼not👏🏼Samaria👏🏼? and what are the high places of Judah? are👏🏼they👏🏼not👏🏼Jerusalem👏🏼? . . .” As you read this passage you can hear the attitude and inflection that the author writes with!

6 Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.
7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.

Graven images – shall be beaten to pieces. . . Hires – burned with fire. . . Idols – laid desolate. Do you see the similarities? Bad things will be destroyed. All else will be restored. Where will you stand? What will you choose??

  32. “Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭1:2-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Another prophetic word of The LORD. Not just then but now! What are our ears listening to? Who’s voice will you hear? The voices of this world or the voice of the man of GOD that watches and prays for you soul daily.
Isn’t it something how we desire for the LORD Jesus to quickly hear our cry when troubles show up. And we close our ears to His voice(word).

  33. “Look! The Lord is coming! He leaves his throne in heaven and tramples the heights of the earth.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The Lord will come down soon for us and take us up to heaven. Let us be ready to go to heaven.

    -Jacob Hernandez

  34. 3 For, behold, the Lord cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

It is not a wise decision to go up against the king of kings. Our God holds all power in his hand. By his word the heavens and the earth were created. Only by his power are we able to overcome sin. We do not have the ability to save, but our God does. We just need to lead others to Jesus and he will do the rest.

  35. “All her carved images will be smashed. All her sacred treasures will be burned. These things were bought with the money earned by her prostitution, and they will now be carried away to pay prostitutes elsewhere.””
    Micah 1:7 NLT

God’s love is better than worldly things that will fade away m. He is forever, for His wisdom is far more valuable than rubies. Nothing you desire can compare with it. God is the firm foundation that cannot be shaken, the earth shall fade away but He will remain.

  36. Verse 2 NLT “Attention! Let all the people of the world listen! Let the earth and everything in it hear. The Sovereign Lord is making accusations against you; the Lord speaks from his holy Temple.” We must heed the warnings and listen, being obedient in all things.

This world is full of evil, many are being influenced by older people around them that are of the enemy, they are putting in their head that evil is good. The Lord is soon to come, there will be a day of judgment. So as the children of the Lord, we know what is right and what may be to come so let us stand as one together and go out and preach Gods word, help guide those that the enemy has gotten to and show them there is a better way, there is a way with the Lord that brings peace and victory. I pray we decide to be a leader of the Lord and bring the lost home.

  38. “For my people’s wound is too deep to heal. It has reached into Judah, even to the gates of Jerusalem.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Is your lost friend or family wound too deep? If not we should have no excuse for not reaching them. They need to be save before the wrath of God will rain down on them. Jesus sacrifice his life to let us avoid his wrath because of our sins. Make the most of his sacrifice. Spread his love and truth!

  39. 2 Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord God be witness against you, the Lordfrom his holy temple.

The day of repentance is nigh. Let us be reminded that God is faithful to forgive us we must be willing to turn from our wrong and follow Him. Jesus has left us to expand the kingdom. This means we must ensure we are right with Him in a effort to lead others to Him.

  40. “Attention! Let all the people of the world listen! Let the earth and everything in it hear. The Sovereign Lord is making accusations against you; the Lord speaks from his holy Temple. Look! The Lord is coming! He leaves his throne in heaven and tramples the heights of the earth.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭1:2-3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

He is soon to return. Will you be ready? We must self reflect daily to make sure that we are still in the will of god. We don’t know when our number will be pulled and we must be ready. He is coming back soon for a church. We must spread the word to the world so that they will not be lost when he returns.

  41. 6 Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.

7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.

There should be nothing in our hearts that take first place besides the Lord our God. If we lift up an idol or a graven image in our mind, then we should be surprised when the Lord tears it all down.

  42. 3 “Look, here he comes! God, from his place! He comes down and strides across mountains and hills. Mountains sink under his feet, valleys split apart; The rock mountains crumble into gravel, the river valleys leak like sieves…” MSG

There’s much that we can tell others about Jesus! How are you using your time to communicate with others? Are you sharing about the cares of the world? The newest show? Or are we elevating Jesus in our conversations. I hope we take a moment to always share the good news of Jesus daily!

  43. 2 Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord God be witness against you, the Lordfrom his holy temple.

  44. Where are you from?

1 The word of the Lord that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

Moresheth-Gath Is a small town in southwest Judah. It was a place that no one was from. It was very unlikely for a prophet to come from this town. But Mica was a prophet throughout three Kings reigns. Mica was not concerned with where he came from, he knew his calling. It didn’t matter how insignificant or humble of a beginning we have, God can do anything. As I look back at my beginning sometimes it’s hard to believe where God has taken me but I’m looking for my next move ( thanks for the on time word Pastor Watts). No matter where you come from God only knows where you are going

  45. 7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.

Don’t let anything come before God. No man or thing. He is above everything and everyone. No man o thing can destroy what God has given you. Don’t let anything replace God. He has called each and everyone of us for a purpose. Be sensitive and answer to His calling.

  46. The word of the Lord that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

He saw them coming Samaria and Jerusalem and others
And they all went together and went into the days all together to Samaria and Jerusalem.

  47. 3 For, behold, the Lord cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
We are here to reach out to Gods people and to persuade them to come to the house of the Lord to win their souls to God.

  48. 7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.

The warning from God, that if we were to go back to the world and not get rid of those things that bound us from the past, that we will find ourselves in the same place we left.

Just because we gave up our seat to hell for heavens glory, we can expect to find the same wretched past waiting for us. The Bible says that the devil is seeking whom he may devour. Looking for an opportunity to get you back where he had you.

Get rid of those things that we be a stumbling block.

  49. Micah 1:2 Hear, all you people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord God be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. For, behold, the Lord cometh fourth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

Psalm 50:7 Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.

Judgment will come, we must repent every day and be ready.

  50. If I had to sum up this up in one thought: When dad has had enough then everybody’s gonna get it. He’s gonna discipline everybody for their mess.

It takes one kid to mess up and get away with something to make the rest of the kids fall in behind. Sin works the same way enticing others. It leads to death and we never know when grace is going to run out. We should be thankful for judgment in a way. As long as their is breath in our body to repent and become renewed in the Holy Ghost, then we have an opportunity to change. Dying right is important. Taking as many hands out of the fire is our mission. Playing with fire is too dangerous for the cost of our souls destination in eternity.

  51. “And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Every high thing must come down and every stronghold shall be broken! The Lord Jesus will reign and His Kingdom will be Established!

  52. “The people of Maroth anxiously wait for relief, but only bitterness awaits them as the Lord’s judgment reaches even to the gates of Jerusalem.”(Micah‬ ‭1:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

The Lord’s unfailing love never ceases to disappoint us in times of trouble. The Lord our God is a passionate and loving father. Bitterness is not something God wants us to carry in our hearts even in times of judgment.

  53. Micah Chapter 1

5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?

I speak of our Gods pain he loved Israel and the 10 tribes but had to place them in bondage. Now it is Jacob’s turn. God again angry and sad because the twelve tribes were given the Law and some prophets but they killed the prophets for the few that died of old age or been taken up in a chariot. Yet the people would not heed the pleading of God. This was due to idolatry. Yet God sent himself as a baby to the world to redeem the world of sin and transgressions. Do not think grace was not applied in the Old Testament for it was not Just for the house of Israel but also the city of Nineveh as well as some individuals who were saved.
Such as the harlot Rahab in the city of Jericho and Ruth a non Jew who was later married to Boaz 4:13 and is found in the linage of King David. We have in the New Testament John 3:16-17 a picture of Grace.
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. His name is Jesus. God in the flesh.

  54. 7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
8 Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.

    1 Corinthians 10:23
    King James Version
23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

Not everything that shines is good!!!

  55. Jesus was coming down because he is a jealous God. All
Of these things are because they are putting other things before him. Worshiping in high places and seeking others. Oh but to worship Jesus! It brings me joy. It makes him glad.
