Micah 6

Hear ye now what the Lord saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.

Hear ye, O mountains, the Lord’s controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth: for the Lord hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.

O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.

For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the Lord.

Wherewith shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?

Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

The Lord’s voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.

10 Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable?

11 Shall I count them pure with the wicked balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights?

12 For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.

13 Therefore also will I make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins.

14 Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy casting down shall be in the midst of thee; and thou shalt take hold, but shalt not deliver; and that which thou deliverest will I give up to the sword.

15 Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil; and sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine.

16 For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people.

  1. This just made me think how easy do we forget what God has done for us. I give thanks to Jesus everyday no matter what comes my way. Stay strong in faith do not allow what is around you to overwhelm you. Remember where God found you and see what He has done for you BE GRATEFUL!!! It is not hard to follow His commandments and that’s all He is asking. Love your neighbor be kind!!!

  2. 7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

When we fulfill the ordainances in scripture, submit to tithing, and give offerings we are doing the right things. However the Lord looks at the heart and if we do not “do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God”, we have missed the mark as far as the Lord is concerned.

  3. Verses 8-9 MSG “But he’s already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It’s quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, And don’t take yourself too seriously—take God seriously. Attention! God calls out to the city! If you know what’s good for you, you’ll listen. So listen, all of you! This is serious business.” Chapter after chapter we keep reading the warnings and the pleads. The time is very short and we have to remember the second half of this chapter as God does not like cheaters/liars! It is not only time to do a checkup from the neck up; but, be fair/just, be compassionate and loyal. Proverbs 12: 22 AMP says “Lying lips are extremely disgusting to the Lord, But those who deal faithfully are His delight. ” Pay attention and be serious about what you have been called to do as God is calling you to get right before it’s to late.

  4. 3 O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.
4 For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

While he is a just and righteous judge you can almost hear it’s not doing it out of wrath or anger but out of betrayal. Testifying against them for their wicked deeds He tells them that he’s never asked anything back from them except to walk humbly and to live right. You can almost hear the pain through the author of how God is dealing with his people. It’s something that I’ve never been able to wrap my mind around, how you can go through so much turmoil with the guidance of Christ and then turn your back on Him.

  5. 2 And now, O mountains, listen to the Lord’s complaint! He has a case against his people. He will bring charges against Israel. 3 “O my people, what have I done to you? What have I done to make you tired of me? Answer me!

8 No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
    Micah 6:8 NLT

This is absolutely heartbreaking. This should sending anyone running back into His arms and to the altar of repentance. My God, Your heart must ache so bad each day for Your people. I bless You, my King.

  6. Micah 6:3-5 & 8 (AMP)
    3) O My people, what have I done to you (since you have turned away from Me)? And how have I wearied thee? Answer Me.
    4) For I brought you up from the land of Egypt and ransomed you from the house of slavery,…
    5) … (Remember what the Lord did for you) from Shittam to Gilgal, so that you may know the righteous and saving acts (displaying the power) of the Lord.

    8) He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you except to be just, and to love (and diligently practice) kindness (compassion), and to walk humbly with your God (setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness).

I have never understood how people come to church and receive salvation, or a healing, or a word of prophecy, ect… and turn away from God.
He brought us up out of this world and ransomed us. Thank You JESUS!!

(I pray), JESUS, I Never Forget What You’ve Done For Me. JESUS, I’ll Never Forget How You Set Me Free. JESUS, I’ll Never Forget How You Brought Me Out. JESUS, I’ll Never Forget No Never.
You’ve Done So Much For Me, I Cannot Tell It All.

All he asks and requires of you/me is to be just, to love, to be kind, to be compassionate, and to be humble before Him.
Love the Lord thy God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind , and with all your srength. and Love thy neighbor as thyself.
Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.

  7. Micah 6
But he’s already made it plain how to live, what to do,
what God is looking for in men and women.
It’s quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor,
be compassionate and loyal in your love,
And don’t take yourself too seriously—
    take God seriously.
9 Attention! God calls out to the city!
If you know what’s good for you, you’ll listen.
    So listen, all of you!
    This is serious business.

When will the lost listen? When will people truly wake up and see what is happening around them.
Soon it will be too late . My heart grieves for those who have been blinded by sin . God search me daily I want to live for You truly with a pure heart. I pray I will reflect You so that those around me will come to know You . In Jesus name.

  8. I love POFW! LIVEJESUSGIVEJESUS2. It is very plain in the word what we are to do and how we are to live. “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.” God has provided EVERYTHING for us and we should not have problem with doing it. It is a have or hell issue!

  9. 13 Therefore also will I make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins.

Sin brings it on distraction, And the sins of the violence sinners would suffer illnesses and frustration. They would not be permitted to enjoy the things they had obtained through dishonesty. the statutes of Omri (v. 16) they will refer to the idolatry which Omri encourages in

    ( 1 Kings 16:25,26)
25 “But Omri wrought evil in the eyes of the LORD, and did worse than all that were before him.”
    ‭‭
26 “For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin, to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.”
    ‭‭

    A.L.M.A.S.

  10. But he’s already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It’s quite and simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, and don’t take yourself too seriously Take God seriously. MSG

    Live Jesus ! Give Jesus!

  11. Micah‬ ‭6:6-8‬ ‭MSG “How can I stand up before God and show proper respect to the high God? Should I bring an armload of offerings topped off with yearling calves? Would God be impressed with thousands of rams, with buckets and barrels of olive oil? Would he be moved if I sacrificed my firstborn child, my precious baby, to cancel my sin? But he’s already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It’s quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, And don’t take yourself too seriously— take God seriously.
Sacrifice alone is not enough. You must change your way of thinking and living. Which begins with a change in your heart. In other words live Jesus so you can give Jesus.

  12. 8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Plain and simple, yet our flesh pulls us in every other direction. We must be disciplined and we must crucify this flesh everyday to follow Christ.

  13. 6 Wherewith shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?

7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

There are many in this world who claim to be Christians, but do not do exactly what the Lord commands. When we live a life of what I call half hearted living, want to live in the world and serve the means of it but state that they truly love God. So when God comes calling they act as though they do not understand what He is requiring. We can not serve two masters, we have to choose life or death. Because if we sell out to Jesus we will have eternal life, but if we sell out to the world and all the sin, we will get eternal death in hell. We can not afford the opportunity to slip away from us to have the eternal blessings of God.

It is time to get with the program and reach a world full of deceit and wickedness, a world of pure justification to why the Lord is not important, and a world that will die and go to hell if we don’t do what the word of God commands us to do. We have a mission to complete. I do not want to get to where if I sow, that I will not be able to reap of the goodness of the kingdom of God. It’s time to choose Jesus.

  14. 5 O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the Lord.

God wants his people to worship him in Spirit and in truth with all their heart. God wants to live in our hearts and to teach others to love the Lord with all their heart. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

  15. “You will eat but never have enough. Your hunger pangs and emptiness will remain. And though you try to save your money, it will come to nothing in the end. You will save a little, but I will give it to those who conquer you.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭6:14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Remembering back from where Jesus delivered me I see the same pattern I dealt with in people I love and people I don’t know. They seek after something that only Jesus can fill. They hunger after something and they eat but they’re never full. The wage of sin can only be out-waged by the blood of Jesus and no other way. Until they humble themselves and turn to him they’ll be stuck in a cycle of pain being addicted to sympathy. We can’t get so caught up in ourselves to forget about the real mission and that’s to show someone that there is hope by the blood of the lamb and the word of your testimony someone could be given hope today and their hunger could be fulfilled finally. Be the light and show some folk what they’re missing out of.

  16. Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O mam, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, and to do justly, and to love mercy ,and to walk humbly with thy God.
1Thessalonians 2:10 Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameaby we behaved ourselves among you that believe.
Take Jesus seriously! Be kind and so your passion and love one another as Jesus first love us.
Receive his word in your heart and claim his victory.
Jesus today you will save me.

15 Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil; and sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine.

When you turn your back of Jesus, this verse describes your works are not blessed. Folks just be spinning their wheels. Sowing but not reaping, working but not getting the increase, all your work is in vain. It’s better to stick it out with Jesus and be spiritually blest.

  18. 5 O my people remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted and what Balaam the son of Brother answered
From Shittim unto Gilgal, that ye may know the righteousness of the Lord.

    Hallelujah 🙌
If the the Lord wants to bless his people
There is no devil in hell
No human on earth that will be able to stop his will.
Wether it makes sense or not, what ever the Lord detergida
    It shall come to pass.
    His judgments are fair.
He gives and he is the one who takes it away.
    On the others side too…
It does not matter how much someone makes the effort for something to come to pass( even if believing in God, for God sees the heart..)
If the Lord has given the command to bring judgment
    He will do it. Regardless….
    Hallelujah
Blessed be the name of the Lord, hallelujah 🙌.

  19. 8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

16 For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people.

This is a shame to Israel that they know what to do and what pleases God but they still go the other way. They know what is right and that they are the chosen people but then they act like it doesn’t matter and throw it all way. How many of our people have we see fall by the wayside when they absolutely know the way? It ponders my heart as to why??? What are you thinking when you deliberately turn tour back in God? Especially when you know who he is and how much he loves you. We must build the family bond so strong in our church that it is hard to backslide, so that it seems stupid to go the other way.

  20. 4 For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Not to forget what has God pulled you out from and stay encouraged to continue the walk with God no matter what we are faced. He is greater …He is in control..

  21. 15 Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil; and sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine.
You can give sacrifices such as your tithes and offerings but if it doesn’t come from a place of want to then it is meaningless, God wants you to want to give sacrifices unto Him.

  22. “O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭6:3‬ ‭KJV
Many will have an opportunity to answer this question in their own lives. Many are no longer here because of there own desires of sin. Prayer, worship, daily devotion, and accountability will keep you close to Jesus Christ and protect you.
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
    ‭‭Joshua‬ ‭24:15‬ ‭KJV

  23. 6 With what shall I come before the Lord
and bow down before the exalted God?
Shall I come before him with burnt offerings,
    with calves a year old?
7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams,
with ten thousand rivers of olive oil?
Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression,
the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God. NIV

All God asks of us is to love our neighbor, forgive them if they’ve done you unjustly, we are all mere people and have all done wrong, it’s not up to us to judge them, it’s up to us to love them.

  24. 1. Hear ye now what the Lord saith; ARISE, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.

    Isaiah 60:1
ARISE, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

    Word of the day: ARISE!

It’s in the first verse of our blog scripture today, the first verse of our Kingdom Prayer scripture, and it’s in 158 verses in the KJV…I believe God is trying to tell us it’s time to stop being sleeping giants and cowing down before what the world dictates; but ARISE, stand up for what’s true and holy and declare the Word of the Lord to a lost and dying generation!

    Matthew 17:7
And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.

  25. 3 O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.

4 For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

It seems that God is saying, “what more can I do for you?” God has done so much for us. We should be thankful and serve him the best that we can. We should do what is right in the sight of God. We should love Him, serve him, please Him because it is right to do that.

  26. Fear the Lord if you are wise! His voice calls to everyone in Jerusalem: “The armies of destruction are coming; the Lord is sending them. What shall I say about the homes of the wicked filled with treasures gained by cheating? What about the disgusting practice of measuring out grain with dishonest measures? How can I tolerate your merchants who use dishonest scales and weights? The rich among you have become wealthy through extortion and violence. Your citizens are so used to lying that their tongues can no longer tell the truth.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭6:9-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The sin of Israel went further than just cheating others in business and commerce; they also made themselves rich through plain violence. They could expect the judgment of God for such sin.

  27. 8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

16 For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people.

God had shown them what “was good” but they didn’t get it. They r following Ahab and Omri “Should I make thee a desolation”. Israel is always complaining and requiring reproach just like we r today. Always a complaint on our lips instead of the goodness of God

  28. “He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you Except to be just, and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion), And to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness]?”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭6:8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

““And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require from you, but to fear [and worship] the Lord your God [with awe-filled reverence and profound respect], to walk [that is, to live each and every day] in all His ways and to love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul [your choices, your thoughts, your whole being],”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭10:12‬ ‭AMP‬‬

God has let us know what he wants for us to do so all we have to do is obey what his word says. No matter what we should not stray away from what the word of god is telling us to do. Yes it may get tough at times but we must continue to do what he requires of us and not do what self wants to do but what god wants us to do because doing what self wants us to do will only dig us deeper into a hole and will always lead back to what god wants us to do so just make it easier on yourself and do what he requires of you to do from the get go to avoid all the pain and suffering that comes when you die shy self wants.

  29. Micah 6

3 O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.

4 For I brought thee out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron and Miriam.

We have choices daily. Why not choose to let your desire please God? God protects us, loves us, gives us unfailing love. What do we give him? A 5 minute prayer on what YOU want? Do we thank Jesus, have time for him? So many people never try to get close to God. Pastor wants us all to have a close relationship with God. He is our saviour! We must daily worship and praise God. I want a loving Godly world again. Let’s all do our part.
Thank you Jesus for this day.

  30. 15 Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil; and sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine.

16 For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people

King Omri was King Ahab’s father and Omri was an idolatrous king, of whom it is said, 1 Kings 16:25, that he did worse than all that were before him, and therefore we may judge of the corruption of the people who imitated the example, and followed the institutions of such a one. By his statutes, seem to be intended some idolatrous rites, which he instituted. — Ahab was the son of Omri, and exceeded his father and all his predecessors in impiety. He did more (it is said, 1 Kings 16:33) to provoke the Lord God than all the kings of Israel that were before him.  -from a commentary by Benson. God is going to judge them according to their sins but first has Micah remind them of His goodness and provisions. How can we neglect so great a salvation and turn to the evil of this world and be lost?

  31. AMP – 8 He has told you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
Except to be just, and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion),
And to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness]?

Many times the Lord reminds His people what He expects of them, and yet we see over and over again how the people return to idolatry and sin. God is warning Micah of the impending judgement that is yet to come and the end result of that judgement.

God is a just God, and if people who are in sin will repent, and turn from that sin, God will forgive them. His grace and mercy is still active and He will extend to anyone. However, there is coming a day, when that grace and mercy are shut off and only judgement will prevail.

It is better to meet a just God on this side of eternity, than a judgmental God on the other side.

  32. Micah 6:3-5
[3]“O my people, what have I done to you What have I done to make you tired of me Answer me!
[4]For I brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from slavery. I sent Moses, Aaron, and Miriam to help you.
[5]Don’t you remember, my people, how King Balak of Moab tried to have you cursed and how Balaam son of Beor blessed you instead? And remember your journey from Acacia Grove to Gilgal, when I, the lord, did everything I could to teach you about my faithfulness.”

The Lord is merciful. He loves us so much. He saves and redeems us from the slavery of sin we get ourselves into. Thank you Jesus.

    Glorious Day
    Song by Passion Conferences

I was buried beneath my shame
Who could carry that kind of weight?
    It was my tomb
    ‘Til I met You

I was breathing, but not alive
All my failures I tried to hide
    It was my tomb
    ‘Til I met You

    You called my name
Then I ran out of that grave
    Out of the darkness
    Into Your glorious day
    You called my name
And I ran out of that grave
    Out of the darkness
    Into Your glorious day

Now Your mercy has saved my soul
Now Your freedom is all that I know
    The old made new
Jesus, when I met You, whoa, what a day

    When you called my name
And I ran out of that grave
    Out of the darkness
    Into Your glorious day
    You called my name
Then I ran out of that grave
    Out of the darkness
    Into Your glorious day

    I needed rescue
    My sin was heavy
But chains break at the weight of Your glory
    I needed shelter
    I was an orphan
But You call me a citizen of Heaven
    When I was broken
    You were my healing
Now Your love is the air that I’m breathing
    I have a future
    My eyes are open

‘Cause when you called my name
I ran out of that grave
    Out of the darkness
    Into Your glorious day
    You called my name
And I ran out of that grave
    Out of the darkness
    Into Your glorious day

  33. LIVE – GIVE JESUS2
    REPENTANCE

10 Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable?
11 Shall I count them pure with the wicked balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights?
12 For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.

People possess the ability to hide things from other people. We can hide things from friends, family, church and even the Pastor. But no one is able to hide anything from the LORD JESUS.

The LORD calls out Israel for their false fate of REPENTANCE. JESUS measures things in the balance of HIS scale of righteousness not ours. HIS Holy nature is what defines good and evil. Today is a good day to search our heart, life and house to see if we have any wicked treasures in our house.

  34. ““O my people, what have I done to you? What have I done to make you tired of me? Answer me! For I brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from slavery. I sent Moses, Aaron, and Miriam to help you.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭6:3-4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

There are many times in our lives when we can loose focus of what’s important. We can focus on the things we are missing, the things we lack, or the what if’s in life.

We can start to blame God for the “mishaps” in our lives, and base our praise and worship on what He “does” for us.

Why? This isn’t the case. He deserves it be worshipped and praised on “what” He does, but rather WHO He is.

Don’t allow your focus to become distorted and confuse you on why you should worship Him. Worship Him for Who He is.

  35. Micah Chapter 6

8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

God is amazing he Loves us so much He would not see us stumble. He gives us His requirements.

God is a good father. He He teaches us his ways and what displeases Him as well as what pleases Him. That we as children may learn his ways and practice them all our days.

The word states that we will become His bride. We as his bride we Do Justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God. We do not walk ahead of Him nor behind Him but with Him. For we will one with Him.

Let us look at three words do Justly, love Mercy, and walk Humbly and see scriptures concerning them.

    Do Justly:
1 Thessalonians 2:10-12 Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:
As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory. We receive instructions through teaching and preaching and example as the father his children.

    Love, Mercy

Exodus 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Jesus said John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Romans 5:8 The Holy Spirit said through Paul God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. This is His Mercy.
John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
Lev 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am the LORD.
Deuteronomy 30:6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
Psa 5:11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defends them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Romans 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I gave you all those scriptures that you may rejoice in Jesus and understand that you are loved and Jesus loves you. Who may stand against Him.

    Walk Humbly

Micha 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
This scripture brings us back to the beginning as we started the race let us continue until He calls us home.

  36. 10 Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable?
13 Therefore also will I make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins.

Do not see what the world calls success as something worth achieving. The world is guided by its fleshly lust and greed. I’m not saying that a non-believer can not go good. But we cannot be a worshiper of God and Mammon.

  37. Hear ye now what the LORD saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.

We must stop and listen. Listen to what the Lord is saying and where he is leading His church and go to where He is leading.

God has a response to our questions to our actions but most of the time we as people don’t want to listen to what he has to say why because we like to be in control but we must learn to hear and follow every day of our lives.

  38. 9 The Lord’s voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.

Listen. We must look out and listen for His voice. Sometimes we just put all things aside and focus on what He has to say. Let’s not live life in fear and anxiety but focus on what He has planned for our lives. If we never ask Him for the deliverance, forgiveness all of the above lol then how will we receive it? I pray tonight that we are listen for what God has to say and let Him take the wheel🚗

  39. “No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭6:8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The word of the Lord teaches us right from wrong, God also teaches us from where we make our mistakes. As Gods children we need to make sure our hearts and our soul is right with the Lord, there will be many bumps where you will be tested with temptation but remember the enemy will try anything to tear us down. But with the love God has for each of us he will give us strength and wisdom to over come it all. Let the Lord fill your life with all the wonderful things and take all evil out, for the Lord gives joyful love, peace, and light.

  40. “No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭6:8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

3 steps – Do what is right, Love Mercy, Walk humbly with Jesus. These steps build upon each other, meaning we can’t expect ourselves to walk humbly with God if we can’t do what’s right. I see it as this – In order to follow these steps we have to fall in love with the Word of God. Falling in love with the Word will teach us what is right, teach us how to be merciful, and teach us how to humble ourselves before the Lord

  41. 4 For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

God is still delivering us from our enemies. We cannot give up the fight when things begin to get hard. We must press through everything that tries to come against us. The bible tells us the we will receive power after the Holy Ghost comes upon us. That same power Jesus used to raise Lazarus from the dead, we can use that bible to put the enemy back where he belongs. We have a work to do and God is looking for the whosoever will people.

  42. 1 Hear ye now what the Lord saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.

I so dearly hope that I am not takingthjs scripture out if context but as soon as I read this. I see God cherring me on to get up and asking me to speak and the mountains be moved. Meaning if I just open my mouth and testify of Him the very things that are obstacles will hall at His feet.

  43. No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
    Micah 6:8 NLT

Sometimes we complicate it way more than it is. The Lord truly reminds us through his Word and Spirit what is definitely right for us.
Do what is right, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God.  Some think immediately on what the flesh will have to give up.  What you will not be able to do. Instead here we see it here not as what we “cannot” but rather wjay we “can”, which is to do right.  That has never harmed anyone.  To love mercy, this should almost be a second nature as we are so blessed by it.  Thus, we should be able to see and relate that we all need of it.  And to walk humbly before God… May we never lose the wonder of His greatness, Hisajesty, how mighty and high He is.   In fact, it is way better to acknowledge and know that you can count on someone with this power and might to help you out in life.

  44. 4 For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

Who can attest to a time when God came through for you?? He’s mighty and He is great, He came through for “. . . and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.” I love this addition in the text. A small reminder of what He’s done and what He can still do.

  45. “Don’t you remember, my people, how King Balak of Moab tried to have you cursed and how Balaam son of Beor blessed you instead? And remember your journey from Acacia Grove to Gilgal, when I, the Lord, did everything I could to teach you about my faithfulness.””
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭6:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Remember the miracle that God gave you! Don’t forget the promises and miracle God has given you, because he hasn’t! Praise him for his goodness.

  46. 8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

All God wants from us is for our life to resemble him. Do good, love, and humble ourselves to Him and those around us is all we need to do. In return we receive His favor, blessings, and lead others to His kingdom. Why would we not want to step into His blessings!

  47. 6 Wherewith shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?

  48. “The rich among you have become wealthy through extortion and violence. Your citizens are so used to lying that their tongues can no longer tell the truth.”
    Micah 6:12 NLT

The roots of money corrupts the heart of a person money assembles greediness and a evil heart. The people tongues are to used to lying that they can’t tell the truth. Let our minds be made up that we want more of Jesus and that there is no amount of money that can buy salvation. Let be so used to doing the will of God that we can’t stop and turn back.

  49. ““Do you expect me to overlook obscene wealth you’ve piled up by cheating and fraud? Do you think I’ll tolerate shady deals and shifty scheming? I’m tired of the violent rich bullying their way with bluffs and lies. I’m fed up. Beginning now, you’re finished. You’ll pay for your sins down to your last cent. No matter how much you get, it will never be enough— hollow stomachs, empty hearts. No matter how hard you work, you’ll have nothing to show for it— bankrupt lives, wasted souls. You’ll plant grass but never get a lawn. You’ll make jelly but never spread it on your bread. You’ll press apples but never drink the cider. You have lived by the standards of your king, Omri, the decadent lifestyle of the family of Ahab. Because you’ve slavishly followed their fashions, I’m forcing you into bankruptcy. Your way of life will be laughed at, a tasteless joke. Your lives will be derided as futile and fake.””
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭6:10-16‬ ‭MSG‬‬

This Scripture means that, God will not Tolerate False Doctrine and sinful lives that He will soon destroy.

  50. 6 Wherewith shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?
7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

    Obedience is better than sacrifice..
Jesus said if we love him, we’ll obey his commands…
Without faith it is impossible to please God.
We are justified by faith; but you know our faith by our works…

We are living epistles read of all men, and we have to remember, people are watching to see our reactions. We must obey His Word, with joy, leading other to Jesus…

  51. 1-2 Listen now, listen to God:

    “Take your stand in court.
    If you have a complaint, tell the mountains;
make your case to the hills.
And now, Mountains, hear God’s case;…”

    Let’s climb together

  52. iLove to blog the extra mile
No one is established by wickedness

Wow it’s pretty simple, no one is established by evil. We need righteousness and we’ll be established

  53. “The Lord’s voice cries to the city— Wisdom shall see Your name: “Hear the rod! Who has appointed it?”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Lord I pray that we as a church would
hear your cries over our city. That we would be about your Kingdom and answer the call.

  54. 1Listen to what the LORD is saying:
“Stand up and state your case against me.
Let the mountains and hills be called to witness your complaints.

One day we’ll be before the Lord, and he’ll hear your case. You’ll want to defend yourself, but how? God knows if you’re righteous or not. There will be no one to defend you, you’re on your own. Live a righteous life, bless others, and serve in his Kingdom.
