Micah 7

Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit.

The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.

That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.

The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.

Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.

For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.

Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.

I will bear the indignation of the Lord, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.

10 Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the Lord thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

11 In the day that thy walls are to be built, in that day shall the decree be far removed.

12 In that day also he shall come even to thee from Assyria, and from the fortified cities, and from the fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain.

13 Notwithstanding the land shall be desolate because of them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings.

14 Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

15 According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous things.

16 The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.

17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the Lord our God, and shall fear because of thee.

18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

20 Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

  1. 18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

We have been reading of the judgment that is coming to Israel and yet here again at the close of this chapter we see the turn of Hod back to mercy abs grace. God is not willing that any should perish. His heartbeat is for all to be saved. No matter what sun has been present, He is faithful and just to forgive. Let’s not take advantage of that goodness, nor push Him to the edge testing that grace and mercy. Let’s live a life pleasing to Him that He won’t have to repent of the judgment He must give us, but He will rejoice with us for a life well lived

  2. 20 Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

One thing is for sure, God does not forget his promises to his people, especially those that walk in the light of Christ. Even when his people fail Him, he remains where he is with grace to fulfill everything he promised

  3. Micah 7

2 The faithful have been swept from the land; not one upright person remains. Everyone lies in wait to shed blood; they hunt each other with nets.

5 Do not trust a neighbor; put no confidence in a friend. Even with the woman who lies in your embrace guard the words of your lips.

6 For a son dishonors his father, a daughter rises up against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, a mans enemies are the members of his own household.

7 But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Saviour; my God will hear me.

18 Who is a God like you who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.

Our Lord and Saviour will put us in trials to get our attention. It was sad at times for the Israelites that they went so far away from righteousness. Our Lord is our strength and we never want to have to endure the major wrath of God. Focus on Jesus and His ways. Perhaps others may see how God helps us! We must keep trying to save the lost.
Thank you Jesus for this day.

  4. 19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

The Lord is a God of second chances. We are all given ample time to receive the grace the Lord has for us, and the Lord deserves our worship and praise.

  5. “Where is the god who can compare with you— wiping the slate clean of guilt, Turning a blind eye, a deaf ear, to the past sins of your purged and precious people? You don’t nurse your anger and don’t stay angry long, for mercy is your specialty. That’s what you love most. And compassion is on its way to us. You’ll stamp out our wrongdoing. You’ll sink our sins to the bottom of the ocean. You’ll stay true to your word to Father Jacob and continue the compassion you showed Grandfather Abraham— Everything you promised our ancestors from a long time ago.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭7:18-20‬ ‭MSG‬‬

    Hallelujah 🙌🙌

Thankful for THE ONLY TRUE GOD that has shown nothing but mercy unto me, my family, and all humanity. It’s by Him alone that I have a hope of eternal life with Him.

“Bless the LORD, O my soul: And all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; The LORD is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: Neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, So great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, So far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, So the LORD pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, And his righteousness unto children’s children;”
    ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭103:1-4, 8-14, 17‬ ‭KJV

  6. Micah 7
7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

In the midst of a sinful world God still hears the cries of His people. Judgement is coming we must love and give Jesus and pray for all who have turned away from God. Bow down thine eat Lord hear us we pray.

  7. Verse 7 AMP “But as for me, I will look expectantly for the Lord and with confidence in Him I will keep watch; I will wait [with confident expectation] for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.” Same verse MSG “But me, I’m not giving up. I’m sticking around to see what God will do. I’m waiting for God to make things right. I’m counting on God to listen to me.” There are not to many things you can count on these days; so remember these scriptures:

Psalm 118:8 AMP says “It is better to take refuge in the Lord Than to trust in man.”

Psalm 130:5 AMP “I wait [patiently] for the Lord, my soul [expectantly] waits, And in His word do I hope.”

Romans 6:11 AMP “Even so, consider yourselves to be dead to sin [and your relationship to it broken], but alive to God [in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus.”

    Let us LIVE-GIVE JESUS²!

  8. “Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭7:8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I was ministering to someone yesterday and I shared this with them. They had been going through some stuff and I said look you may feel like you’re in the dark but God hasn’t gone anywhere. I said you could be where you are right now so that he can show you once more that he’s capable of pulling you out of anything. Often times we get in these test of faiths and feel like Jesus left us in the lions den too long. If we could learn that no matter our circumstances we follow Jesus even in the valley.

  9. 8. Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.

We’re not perfect, we’re human. There will be times when we fall, but enemy, don’t start your party; there’s no question about it, we shall ARISE! (see yesterday’s post). And there will be dark times we go through, but the Lord shall be a light unto us and we will follow that light out of our dark place!

  10. Micah‬ ‭7:18-19 ‭MSG “Where is the god who can compare with you— wiping the slate clean of guilt, Turning a blind eye, a deaf ear, to the past sins of your purged and precious people? You don’t nurse your anger and don’t stay angry long, for mercy is your specialty. That’s what you love most. And compassion is on its way to us. You’ll stamp out our wrongdoing. You’ll sink our sins to the bottom of the ocean.
    ‭‭
Nothing and no one compares to God. He has no rivals or equals. In spite of their unfaithfulness to God He still showed compassion and mercy.

  11. 7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.

9 I will bear the indignation of the Lord, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.

10 Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the Lord thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

Only the Lord can be trusted. The faithful remnant of the Church warn their enemy not to rejoice Joyce much over them. The trouble is a result of the peoples sins, but the Lord will get with you on his own, to the shock of their enemies

    A.l.m.a.s.

  12. 7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.

Look unto God for everything with prayer for he does hear every prayer and knows that when you fall he will pick you up and make you stronger .. The light of the Lord dwells in us all…Hallelujah.. Thank You Jesus.

  13. 15“Yes,” says the LORD, “I will do mighty miracles for you, like those I did when I rescued you from slavery in Egypt.”

God continues to do miracles today. We’ve seen them and heard others testify about them. God heals, protects and provides. Continue to pray for your needs and God will give you the miracle your seeking.

  14. LIVE – GIVE JESUS2
    REVIVAL AGAIN

15 According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous things.
16 The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf

This prophetic WORD from the prophet is declares that the GOD Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will once again deliver the people of GOD from the bondage of our adversaries.

A great REVIVAL or renewing of Miracles, Signs and Wonders is upon us NOW.

JESUS will use marvelous things or great wonders to establish once again HIS Kingdom for HIS own glory. This prophetic promise establishes HOPE in our hearts that the GOD that spoke to Moses to deliverer the children of Israel out of Egypt through great wonders will also deliver HIS Church from the perils of the Endtime.

  15. 7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.

There are going to times where you will face adversity and be knocked down. There will be times that you face unlike times before and you will be knocked down. The options that will be presented to you are you either get up or stay down in the midst of the trial. Remember God sometimes places us in the middle of things to see if we will trust Him or lean on man. No matter what comes your way, God is bigger than any circumstance or trial. He possesses all power and He will hear your cry when you call upon his name. The world is going to try to knock you down and keep you there so that you become discouraged and do not want to get up. But if you arise up among your tribulation God will give you the strength that you need to carry on.

Let’s make up our minds and push forward the kingdom of God and his righteousness so that we can prove to others that God is real. So we all have a choice to make when the enemy tries to keep us down, either stay in the midst of the trial or we can arise. Remember greater is he that in each of us than he that is in the world.

  16. 19 he will turn again, he will have compassion upon us
He will subdue our iniquities and thou will cast all of their sins into the sea.
    ——
Wow! What a confidence, what a statement!
I think This is someone who really knows
Who is in Christ, this is a statement of that one..
The new creation in Christ God says we are
    – he( she)Acknowledge the sin
    Has repented
And know Gods love toward him, her.
And of course and first of all
Approaching God with a humble , heart.
    Hallelujah 🙌.
    Today is a new day.
A new day of Gods mercies.
🙏That I may not take it for granted.
    In Jesus name
God is good. Thank you Lord.
    You are kind

  17. 5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.

Don’t put all your trust in a friend put all your trust in God

  18. Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.
We need to stay in Gods clutches and not stray. Times are getting ready for the end.

  19. Micah 7:18-19 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage?
He retaineth not his anger forever, because he delighteth in mercy.
    (19) He will turn again , he will have compassion upon us; he subdue our iniquities, and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
God is concerned for His people and His promises will not fail, Even in the midst of darkness, God is light, His love will be experienced; there will be forgiveness; and the promise to Abraham will be fulfilled.
There is a promise restored for the sinner who trusts the Savior, God’s provision for redemption.
No one or nothing compares to my God.
He is my savior and deliverer and trust and faith .
    He is my God”!

  20. 7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.

The prophet is troubled by all see encounters. Even the most respected and upright are evil. It is evidence that no matter how good a man can be, they are still evil without God.

He lived in a times when he was practicing alone is his devotion. No one else was seeking or desiring to look for God let alone serve and worship God.

He had to have a bold attitude against his adversaries. And a few example to us. Be bold against the kingdom of darkness.

  21. 7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

When everything else fails God will never fail.
People friends family will hurt me but God will not he will keep safe and protect.
When things are going bad we must look to Him and wait on Him.
Wait for Him to lead to show the way.
The children of Israel followed the cloud to the promise land.
So no matter what you are going through look to God and follow him.

  22. 7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

Many times we run into trouble because we do not wait on the Lord. Waiting on God is always the right move. We cannot be hasty to jump and do certain things. We must be patient enough to wait on an answer from God. In our our waiting, God will reveal what his will is for your life.

  23. 8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.

There is security in Jesus. He will fight for us. Praise he loves us.

  24. Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.
This verse spoke to me because it’s Like what I’m going through right now. With this injury it seems like I won’t ever be the same and I will never be able to do the things I used to. But God. When it seems like there’s no hope there is a little light. When it seems like your stuck there’s just a little light that you can hold on to a believe you can complete the task in front of you. God is that light. But when we sin or try and adjust to the worlds terms we are dimming that light. This is why the blog is important it’s to keep that light on and to keep you accountable.

  25. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus
6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.

Wow, the prophet is looking right into the 21st century. Every generation assume the preceding generation is worse or gonna be worse than when they grew up. The truth of the situation is…there is nothing new under the sun
    7

  26. 2 The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.

Nothings describes the days we are living like these verses. My heart and soul cry out to God for the headlines lately are full of parents killing innocent children or children killing their parents. I ask myself what else can’t they see for themselves that the day is coming for our Jesus to return??? Don’t they see that sower and reaper are working side by side??? For the fields are white already to harvest!!! I pray for them, I pray the scales fall out of their eyes, I pray for our prodigals daily for them to return home, for us to be able to forget all and forgive all and receive them with open arms. In Jesus Name amen!!! GREAT MIRACLES ARE HAPPENING BE READY!!!

  27. Micah 7:18-19
    18) Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth ( forgiveth, excuseth) iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
    19) He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue (conquer, defeat) our iniquities; and thou wilt cast (act of throwing something forcefully) all their sins into the depths of the sea.

    “Because He Delighteth In MERCY”
There is no God like our God. It is because of His MERCY and COMPASSION toward us that He pardoned (forgave and excused) our iniquity, He passed by our transgressions, He subdued (conquered, deafted) our iniquities when He died on the cross, and He cast (throw) our sins into the depth of the sea.

    Thank you JESUS!!

  28. “Where is another God like you, who pardons the guilt of the remnant, overlooking the sins of his special people? You will not stay angry with your people forever, because you delight in showing unfailing love.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭7:18‬ ‭NLT‬‬
I’ve searched all over. And I couldn’t find nobody. Nobody greater. I looked high and low. Still couldn’t find nobody. Nobody greater. Nobody greater then you. 🎸

  29. Micah 7:20
You will show us your faithfulness and unfailing love as you promised to our ancestors Abraham and Jacob long ago.

    God’s love has no limits.

I have loved you, My people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to Myself. — Jeremiah 31:3 NLT

  30. 4 The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.
5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.
7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

I Believe that we are living in the last days and what is right has been turned to wrong and what’s wrong has been turned to ridge. One thing we must do is to reach the lost and to tell him that there is a savior a God that loves them.

  31. enemies are the men of his own house.

“Your brokenness can take you were your strength can not” -Landon Gore

God wants all of you and will use all of you. Every piece of your story is valuable to the kingdom of God. Give it to him and watch how brings light to your darkness, mends your wounded spirit and reminds you who child you are.

  32. 18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

Yes God does no approve of sin. Also the word also teaches us that the wages of sin is death. Albeit, our Lord is merciful and his will is that none should perish but that all should come to repentance.

  33. 5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.

The people around us. Who are your friends? What influence do they have on you? What are their goals in life? Do they follow Christ? These are all amazing questions to ask yourself. Your friends and people around you should always be a good influence and follow Christ. Once we surround ourselves with His presence we will always feel peace. I pray tonight that you check yourself and make sure you have good influences.

  34. “As for me, I look to the Lord for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭7:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

In every situation, in every trial we need to look for the Lord in it all. We shouldn’t fear for the Lord will never let us fall or fail. God has everything in control we cannot be jumping into conclusions or rushing things to make it the way we want, the Lord has a specific plan for everything he does in our lives wether we notice or not. I pray tonight that we make God the center of our life, that we have faith and patience with God and realize that he is our true God and he has everything in control and everything with a purpose.

  35. iLove the extra mile blog
The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.

The generation of the sluggard is here. This generation thinks they should get a payday when they don’t work. The diligent will be rewarded because God is the One who rewards. God sees everything. Nothing will go unnoticed with God.

  36. 18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

There is NO god like Our God! No other god has conquered death. No other god is living, reigning victoriously. No other god can save: Only Jesus.

  37. 7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.

Thank you God for lighting up my life and working on my behalf always. He is good all the time!!!

  38. “Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭7:8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Even when fail and fall down there is still hope to get back up and keep walking in the narrow path. We have the option the to be like peter when he denied Jesus but repented got back up and follow Jesus, or be like Judah when betrayed Jesus and he fall down and couldn’t get back up. We have the choice to get up with Jesus or stay down.

  39. “Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light. I will be patient as the Lord punishes me, for I have sinned against him. But after that, he will take up my case and give me justice for all I have suffered from my enemies. The Lord will bring me into the light, and I will see his righteousness.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭7:8-9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Rise up again and again and again. The darkness is the best place to demonstrate your faith. Cry out to the Lord with all your heart for the sins we have committed. Wait patiently for the calling, read the word carefully for the word of God.

  40. “The godly people have all disappeared; not one honest person is left on the earth. They are all murderers, setting traps even for their own brothers.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭7:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

All the Godly people have disappeared! Jesus, let that not be the true!! It is up to you and I to be disciples, to be The Church. I pray we do not get weary in well doing because in This day and age the world needs The Church more than ever. I need The Church more than ever. Thank you Jesus for the mighty men and women of God you have placed in my life as encouragement to keep going!

  41. 8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.

One of the worse things the enemy can do is miscalculate The seed that has been planted in every believer. For many failure is not an option. Knocked down and some even knocked out but not dead and as long as I’m not dead there is still time for a comeback.

  42. “But as for me, I will look expectantly for the Lord and with confidence in Him I will keep watch; I will wait [with confident expectation] for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭7:7‬ ‭AMP‬‬

When we ask something if god we have to be patient and trust that he will answer on time. We can’t become so frustrated that we start seeking out answers from different directions. Those different answers will lead us on a detour and we will ultimately end back up where we should have never left which was waiting on the lords answer. It may not feel right but we must have patience. In due time god will answer.

  43. 7 As for me, I look to the Lord for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me.
8 Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.
    Micah 7:7‭-‬8 NLT

Our confidence comes from all that God is in our lives. Our Strength, our Justice, our deliverance, our Light.

  44. 7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.

    I look to the Lord,
    I wait on the Lord,
    I hear my God.
My enemy shall not be happy:
    When I fall,
    when I get up,
when I sit in the dark,
    God shall be my light!!

I have to respond to God from Him to be my light! That is what will offset the enemy. . . Following and responding to God!!

  45. “Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭7:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus helps me to get up and serve him everyday! Sometimes I fail, but oh how Jesus helps me! When I fall, I shall arrive.

  46. 18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

Thank God for mercy! Without mercy we would all be in serious trouble. God is unlike anyone I have ever met. With people you can wear out their mercy but with God his mercies are new each morning. If anyone has ever felt with addiction, you know that he is there every day to encourage you to stop whether we listen or not. Thank God for always meeting me at the crossroads with mercy so that I have the chance to be saved.

  47. Knowing the times are evil, the prophet speaks these words:

7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.

To know Him is to know that he will hear our cry – whether it is the cry of injustice or the cry of repentance.

We serve a just God but also a God of love and mercy!

  48. “Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭7:8‬ ‭NLT‬‬
Israel is speaking confidence that, even though the circumstances are dark, God will shine His Light. They will be helped to endure the hardship, knowing that God will send His Light to guide them.

  49. 7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.

God will always respond to the love and longing desire of of a soul – sinner or saint. God wants to restore relationship with His people, He is simply waiting for us to call out. So don’t lose hope and think God has left you. There is a time and season to all things and my God is an on time God!
