Isaiah 25

O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.

Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.

For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.

And in this mountain shall the Lord of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

10 For in this mountain shall the hand of the Lord rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.

11 And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.

12 And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.

O  Lord, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

  3. 4 For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

The Lord deliverance through the great tribulation of the enemy just not one particular enemy but all the enemies. Have been crushed. Causing the Church to knowledge God power. God has been to his church all that they needed.

  4. Verses 8-9 NLT “He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign Lord will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against his land and people. The Lord has spoken! In that day the people will proclaim, “This is our God! We trusted in him, and he saved us! This is the Lord, in whom we trusted. Let us rejoice in the salvation he brings!” All I could think of while reading this chapter was “High and Lifted Up”….. Isaiah 57:15-17 ERV says “God is high and lifted up. He lives forever. His name is holy. He says, “I live in a high and holy place, but I also live with people who are humble and sorry for their sins. I will give new life to those who are humble in spirit. I will give new life to those who are sorry for their sins. I will not accuse my people forever. I will not always be angry. If I continued to show my anger, then the human spirit, the life I gave them, would die before me. Israel’s evil greed made me angry, so I punished them. I turned away from them because I was angry. But they continued to do wrong. They did whatever they wanted.” Our Proverb for today says in verse 18 ERV “If a nation is not guided by God, the people will lose self-control, but the nation that obeys God’s law will be happy.”

  5. 8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

The redemption we have from from the Cross reverses the curse of sin when Jesus is confessed as our savior. We are assured that heaven offers us a glorified life devoid of the struggles of this sin curse life, i.e. tears.

  6. 1. O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

O Lord, thou art MY God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name…I can’t wait for someone else to praise Him for what He’s done for me!

    Psalm 118:28
Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

You don’t know like I know
    What He’s done for me
You can’t tell it like I can
    What He’s done for me

  7. 4 For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

This is all God has ever wanted from his people. To be their God. To be strength and a place of refuge for them. The equivalent of the needs that a father has for his children. Just to be their father. It’s not complex and hard to understand, God just wants what is best for his people and to be king that serves them and loves them.

  8. Isaiah 25: 8-9 ( Trust in God) He will swallow up death in victory ; and the Lord of God will wipe away tears from off all faces, and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth, for the Lord hath spoken it.
    (9) And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is Our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us, this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
A song of praise will be will be raised to God for His wonderful works as tears will be wiped from all faces, and shouts of joy will ring out through all eternity.
Ps.34: 8 ) O taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the man that trusteth in him .
We must wait on Lord and Commit ourselves unto him, trust in him shall bring it to pass.
Rest in him and wait patiently for him.
For he is so good to all of us!
He love and his word endures forever.

  9. 4 But you are a tower of refuge to the poor, O Lord, a tower of refuge to the needy in distress. You are a refuge from the storm and a shelter from the heat. For the oppressive acts of ruthless people are like a storm beating against a wall,
    Isaiah 25:4 NLT

    https://bible.com/bible/116/isa.25.4.NLT

You are my Refuge, O Lord. You are the Rock of my Salvation. You hold me up by the Strength of Your Right Hand. I praise Your Holy Name.

  10. Who is like our God. The Great and Mighty. The one who brings judgment to the evil doers.

“You turn mighty cities into heaps of ruins. Cities with strong walls are turned to rubble. Beautiful palaces in distant lands disappear and will never be rebuilt.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭25:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

He turns mighty cities ones that are heavily guarded into the dust of the earth. The ones from far away that rule their world. Their land will swallow them up and the land will be forever desolate

  11. Isaiah 25
7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

My mind immediately went to the wearing of the masks. Some are still wearing them for fear of disease and death. Yet even those who gave taken off the so required mask still live in fear and doom. The emotional trauma that our world has recently gone through has placed a mask of doom on so many people. How quickly nations were pressed into a covering over individuals faces. Now I look around and see how much people were truly controlled through fear . Jesus Christ came and destroyed the vail that separated His presence from all people.
Many people conceal their emotions behind a mask a face covering and are literally dying emotionally . It is time to be real . It is time to allow people to let down their masks. We cannot be afraid but judge where they are coming from. Jesus wants to remove the face coverings. He wants to meet individuals right where they are removing doom and restoring hope and renewed strength. We the church must allow people to remove their face coverings .
It may not be what we expect there will be some ugly scars and distorted facial features. Yet God says He will remove the vail and He will wipe away their years . It is time we let the vail down for we are experiencing God’s presence.. we must share how God has healed us and we no longer have to hide behind a mask a facade . It’s time to feel with the heart of God. It’s time to let the world know who we serve and what He can do …..

Darrell Coley. Removal of the Mask
There was a man behind a mask appearing to be whole.
At the removal of the mask, another man had been exposed
    fragmented and broken, full of pain and agony;
he relished the thought of being free –free.

So he turned to the One who had created every man.
Just like a loving father, God took him by his hand.
One touch was enough to satisfy his every need.
I was that man. Thank God I’m free

His resurrected power crushed the mask that used to be.
Now, the man that you behold is truly me.

Just in case you’re trying to hide all the pain you feel inside,
deceiving yourself by wearing a disguise,
Let the power that’s within you be awakened and released.
God will, He will, He will stop the masquerade and let you be free.

8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

  12. 1 O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭15:2‬ ‭NKJV “The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
It doesn’t matter what you are going through, praise the name of Jesus always.
8 ‭‭ “He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken.”
‭‭‭‭Revelations 21:4“NKJV And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.””
‭ Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus! What a glorious day that will be.

  13. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus2

He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

This is awesome! Of course we realize this is a prophecy concerning the Victory of Jesus overcoming the grave and swallowing up death, hell, and the grave. But if we look beyond that, we can see our own victory over death, hell, and the grave. Jesus was our example. Jesus was resurrected from the grave and received a glorified body. In this body, Jesus ate bread. This is a revelation. We too will be able to eat in our new glorified body. AWESOME!

  14. 8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

There is coming a day that will hopefully soon appear for all believers, that day the trumpet will sound and the Lord standing on a cloud, it’s time to call his church home. As scripture states those that are dead in Christ will rise up and we that remain will be changed in a moment a twinkling of an eye, will be called up to meet him in the sky. What a meeting in the air that will be.

The church being called to a place where no more crying, no more pain, no more sorrow, and most of all we will be home in glory to share the beauty of our savior. That is the day that we are longing for. As Isaiah describes it we will rejoice in his salvation. What a day a glorious day that will be.

  15. “God will push down Moab’s people as a swimmer pushes down water with his hands. He will end their pride and all their evil works. The high walls of Moab will be demolished. They will be brought down to the ground, down into the dust.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭25:11-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It is Jesus who judges the evil and condemns them. Their pride has kept them from repenting and coming to Jesus . The spoils of their hands have to be earthly treasures they have accumulated. They were so proud; they did not realize they needed a Savior.

    Pride goes before a fall.

  17. Waiting for God

9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

We wait all the time. We wait to fall asleep at night; we wait on responses to emails, for Amazon deliveries, for our paycheck to hit our bank account. We also “should” be waiting on God. We wait on the Lord to act – to deliver, to save, to avenge, to answer our prayers, to provide for our needs, to renew our strength, to reveal His glory, to do what only God can do.

God is patient with us; he understands waiting. His concept of time is nothing like ours, and yet His timing is perfect. The Creator of everything is not surprised by the circumstances of our lives. He knows. He has always known, and waiting is a part of His plan for us.

As hard as it is to hear, waiting on God is good for us. If God acted immediately every time, we cried to Him, we would be in control and not Him. We do not possess His wisdom. Having to wait causes us to learn to trust Him, to trust His timing. Psalm 25:4-5 Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

  18. 4 For You have been a stronghold for the helpless,
A stronghold for the poor in his distress,
    A shelter from the storm, a shade from the heat;
    For the breath of tyrants
Is like a rainstorm against a wall.

The Lord is our everything – people’s actions speak louder than their words and sometimes our actions show God that we are just like Israel – turning against God. So He must take us through test and trials so that we realize and see what it is He wants to teach us in the moment. During those trials, He will come to us, if we will humble ourselves and turn to Him and there we will find strength, shelter, shade, whatever we need.

My prayer of late has been let my actions live out what my words say so that in everything that I say and do, it shows the Lord that I love Him with all my heart, mind and soul.

  19. 8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.
9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

I pray we all live for this day and prepare for this day. It will be a truly glorious experience for all those who stay faithful and wait on the Lord!!

  20. 12 And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.

This reminded me some of our first time visitors. I have always liked to observe people, their mannerisms, their way of walking, and the features of their faces. As I am always sitting at back hardly anyone notices me, so I watch and observe as my Pastor preaches. As soon as he starts to touch their hearts with the word of God their body changes according to how strongly they have built their walls. The first thing you notice is the crossing of their arms, as if they have to make a knot so nothing gets in. Then, they lower their head, as if not to make eye contact with the Pastor, and finally as the altar calls happens they remove themselves to outside or wiggle to the seats way in the back. So as soon as they cross their arms my prayer begins for the walls to come down like in Jericho. Sometimes they crumble so quickly that the tears won’t stop falling from their eyes. Then, I begin to claim the promise of removing the stone heart for a flesh one and for them to feel His Peace, His Love, and His Mercy and be filled of the Holy Ghost. Some walls are built so high and with the strongest bricks and it takes several visits; the sad part is sometimes we only get one chance , one brief moment to show them the Love of Jesus. That is why, from the moment they park their vehicle or come aboard of our bus we need to make sure they see the Joy and Love of Christ in our faces!!! They need to know they’re not alone, and that we are different from the rest of this world. It is not hypocrisy but putting our best forward just like you would in an interview. We are interviewing for their friendship. Be truthful at all times, genuinely love them, without judgement or criticism, and welcome them with open arms like our Heavenly Father would. MAY ALL THE WALLS CRUMBLE AS SOON AS THEY CROSS THE ARCH OF OUR DOORS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

  21. “…And God will wipe the tears from every face. He’ll remove every sign of disgrace From his people, wherever they are. Yes! God says so!” 25:6-8 MSG

    GOD SAYS SO!

In Isaiah 53:5 He says we are healed.
In Psalms 18:32 He says we are strong.
In 1 John 2:12 He says we are forgiven.
In Colossians 2:10 He says we are whole.
In Isaiah 43:1 He says we are His!
In Joshua 1:9 He says He is with us!

Don’t allow the distractions of this world block your hearing from what God says. Listen to His Voice, and Trust in His Will! And remember in Isaiah 30:21 He says He Gives DIRECTION!

  22. 8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.
9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

  23. 8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.
9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation. Amen and amen

  24. Isaiah Chapter 25

3 Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.

Starting in above verse 3 Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee. That is the only way to start a day. We start our day in and with Jesus. We start our day placing our hands in to his for this day. Where are your Hands right now? Are they in the things of life, in your work, and in family or are they in Jesus who has made you as you praise Him? Can you praise him for not ever leaving you or forsaking you. Is your life being transformed right now in your work place or in your home? Are your ears open to here his voice in order that you may walk the path of life He has prepared for you this day? Jesus is not a man that he should lie. He said that he will lead you to all truth for his word is truth.
psalm 33:4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth. I can testify to that statement above because he led me to the truth of being baptized in Jesus Name at 74 years young. This day look to the author and finisher of you faith. May the Holy Spirit give you power to walk this day out in confidence through the end of this day and for ever. May his praise be in your mouth in Jesus Name.

  25. Isaiah 24:1 O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You; I will praise Your Name. For you have worked wonders, plans formed long ago in perfect faithfulness.

Psalm 40:5 Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders You have done, and the plans You have for us —none can compare to You—If I would proclaim and declare of them, they are more than could be numbered.

You are my God and I give you Thanks!!!!

  26. “O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭25:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What a way to start any day! Worshiping Our LORD JESUS in Spirit and In Truth. When we recognize who HE already IS within, it is then we KNOW that this day that the LORD has made I shall rejoice and be glad in it. Meaning as soon as my eyes open up in the morning ‘l have the victory over my enemy!’ Not because of who i am, but of WHO JESUS is in me!!!

  27. Our enemies are all in unison, and they are ready to not back down. They have us believe that we are outnumbered, and we are not. We will fight for what we need.

  28. 8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.
9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

This is exactly what we wait for, our salvation! We know there are forces against us, but through Him we will be victorious! 1Co 15:55 – O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The last enemy to be destroyed is death. (vs 26)

  29. Isaiah 25:1, 4, & 9
    1) O LORD, thou art my God: I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name: for thou hast done wonderful things:…
    4) For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat,…
    9) … Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us:…

O LORD, YOU Are My GOD! I Will EXALT YOU! I Will PRAISE THY Name! YOU Have Done WONDERFUL THINGS!
YOU Have Been A STRENGTH To Me, A STRENGTH To Me! YOU Are A REFUGE For Me In The Storm. YOU Are A Shadow For Me In The Heat!
Lo, This Is Our GOD! We Have Waited For HIM! JESUS Today YOU Will SAVE Us!!

  30. 25:3-4 “Upside Down”
    3) Therefore strong nations will shake with fear before you; ruthless nations will obey and glorify your name. 4) But to the poor, O Lord, you are a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, a shelter from merciless men who are like a driving rain that melts down an earthen wall.

When the British army of Cornwallis surrendered to George Washington at York Town, the band marched out of the fortifications playing a tuned called “The World Turned Upside Down.” This is what the day of judgment will mean too. The strong and the ruthless will honor the poor and needy. Why? Because the poor who took refuge in God will prove to be wiser as well as more righteous than the strong who rely on their own strength.

  31. 1 O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
2 For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.
3 Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.
4 For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

When you are living for Jesus and doing his commandments he will never leave you nor for sake you.

  32. 2Listen, O heavens! Pay attention, earth! This is what the LORD says: “The children I raised and cared for have rebelled against me.

We can’t just hear the Word, but we all must listen carefully. Listening is obeying. Take the time to give full attention when hearing the Word. In this day, many hear the Word, but don’t obey the Word. Don’t let the enemy distract you from God.

  33. “O Lord, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭25:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Day after day only you oh Lord deserve the glory for all you have done for me and my family. Blessed be your name. Since the day i was created you had planned the journey I walk on.

No matter where we might find ourselves God already knows the decision we are taking, I rather choose Jesus than anything else in this world.
Live for Jesus is what I choose.

  34. 9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

“There’s not a mountain too tall
There’s not a problem too small
    That Jesus can’t resolve
    In time He’ll get involved
Our God He cares about us

    So wait on the Lord
    Wait on the Lord
    Wait on the Lord
    And He’ll renew your strength

There’s not a light too dark
A journey too long to embark
    Jesus will see you through
In time He’ll make you new
Our God He cares about us

    So wait on the Lord
    Wait on the Lord
    Wait on the Lord
    And He’ll renew your strength

‘Cause He’s ordering, He’s ordering your strength
You’ve got to wait, you’ve got to wait“

  35. Isaiah 25

1 O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

4 For thou hast been a strenght to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at you side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.” Psalms 91:1-7

If you are a righteous person and obey God the best you can, no matter through a storm or hard times’ our Lord Jesus Christ will be there for you.
Thank you Jesus for this day.

  36. 1 O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

The Lord is my Lord he leads and guides me. He is great and faithful at always times

  37. 9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

The coming of the Lord is getting closer and closer everyday. Are you ready? We must take this thought into consideration each and every day of our lives! We are all going in the right path if we are following His word! I pray tonight that you share His word to others, and prepare your hearts for this coming day!!!

  38. “In that day the people will proclaim, “This is our God! We trusted in him, and he saved us! This is the Lord, in whom we trusted. Let us rejoice in the salvation he brings!””
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭25:9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God is good all the time! God has our whole life planned out, he knows what’s best for us, and what isn’t. He knows what he hold for our future. Let us always obey the Lord and his commands for even though you might not understand why, he knows and there is a purpose and a lesson towards it. I pray tonight that we have complete faith and trust in him, and we go out and teach his word share your testimony and how God saved you. Let the lost know God can save them just as he did you.

  39. “But you are a tower of refuge to the poor, O Lord, a tower of refuge to the needy in distress. You are a refuge from the storm and a shelter from the heat. For the oppressive acts of ruthless people are like a storm beating against a wall,”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭25:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God is hopeful. As a Christian we should shine and reflect hope. Give the lost the word or give someone a smile, show love. God is a just God, reach for the lost so they can ovoid the punishment.

  40. 1 O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

4 For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

Oh how blessed we are to have our heavenly father. He is good in every season of our lives. The prefect, the good, the bad, the ugly. The light and the brokenness. The GOODNESS of our God never fails or fades. Thank Jesus.

  41. 8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

The Lord will have victory over every situation, He had everything in His hands we just have to trust in Him.

  42. 9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

True salvation comes through Jesus. There is no savior like our God. He will pick you up from the deepest pit and place you on higher ground. In him is where we find true joy. When God saves you, no devil in hell can get you as long as you abide by his word.

  43. 8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

He did swallow up death in victory. Jesus , King of Kings, beat Hell and the grave when he rose, victoriously.

  44. He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken. And it will be said in that day: “Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the Lord; We have waited for Him; We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.”
    Isaiah 25:8‭-‬9 NKJV

May we not loose the sight of this. May we see with out hearts what the Lord will do for us and His day to come.

The Lord is a strong tower and He is the God of salvation. The Lord will fight for you, and trust in the Lord for He reigns forever victorious. There is no reason to fear God never fails and His word is true God reigns victorious.

  46. 1 O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

God is so amazing! He know how much each of us can handle and He will come to our aidl. We must not allow ourselves to become discouraged but endure for in due season He will make an appearance.

  47. “O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭25:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I thank God that we can pray the Word! This whole chapter read like praise in prayer to me. We serve an awesome God who inhabits the praises of His people. If we ever forget how to pray or what to pray for, let us always turn to His Word!

  48. iLove to blog the second mile
Proverbs 29:27 An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous, but one whose way is straight is an abomination to the wicked.

This is why the pagans hate the Christians…the ones who are straight is an abomination to the wicked… wow there it !

  49. 8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.
9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

“. . . it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; . .” Such a statement!! In that day we will know it is him!!
What a day that will be
When my Jesus I shall see
And I look upon his face
The one who saved me by his grace
When he takes me by the hand
And leads me through the Promised Land
What a day, glorious day that will be
    There’ll be no sorrows there
    No more burdens to bear
No more sickness and no more pain
    No more parting over there
    But forever I will be
With the one who died for me
What a day, glorious day that will be
What a day that will be
When my Jesus I shall see
And I look upon his face
The one who saved me by his grace
When he takes me by the hand
And leads me through the Promised Land
What a day, glorious day that will be

  50. “He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭25:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What a promise we have in His Word! His word is our firm foundation. His written word and spoken word!

  51. 1 O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

This is even truer now it ever was before. Even though the Bible is 2000 years from the last text written. The counsel of God is still faithful and true.

It was good enough for my great grandfather, and my grandparents and my parents, it is good enough for me.

  52. 1 O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

2 For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.

3 Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.

What a good GOD We serve

Fear not the hand of the Lord is upon each and everyone of you today. Jesus will take care of your adversary and it will be easy for him. That thing you’ve been struggling with, Jesus is laughing at because he is so much greater and so much bigger than any of those problems. He wants you to trust him today and to take on the day like there’s no tomorrow.

No matter how big or how small the problem god is your refuge. He is your strong tower. He is there in your time of need all you have to do is call on his name. You can come to him for any and everything. All you have to do is call upon his name.
