Hosea 6

Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.

Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.

For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.

Gilead is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with blood.

And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness.

10 I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.

11 Also, O Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee, when I returned the captivity of my people.

  2. I was thinking about what
    Pasror said, about how
    firefighters have no
    fear, they have one
    purpose only and that
    is to save LIFE’S: every
    time our son and he’s
men go out on an fire
    call’s, i know his own
    life, and the life’s of
his men are at risk. we
    pray for their safety:
    as Pastor said we
    should see the LOST:
    burning: and like fire
    fighter’s we should
    have no fear but only
    wanting to save them:
    seriously when i get
    to thinking about
    so many don’t even
    really understand,
    and they just rather
    take the easy way
    out and join a church
    that doesn’t confuse
    them, i know, i have
    such friend’s,and
    I know i have to
    handle them,
    carefully not to
    lose them, i share
    pofw church services,
    and i know it has
    made an difference:
    i have an health issue
    that keeps me from
    going out side of the
    house to go fishing
    like Pastor said, but
    my phone is a good
    fishing rod: and i
    baited 11 of them
    with yesterday
    morning church
    service’s, and got
    a few bite’s. Hallelujah:
    so excited i can do
    this for our KING JESUS

  3. 4 O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.

5 Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.

6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

Because Israel and Judah have been faithless, God has condemned them by the prophets; He wanted love more than sacrifice, and knowledge of Himself more than burnt offerings.

  4. 6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

The people had missed the heart of God. They missed being aligned with the Lord by making sacrifices and giving offerings, while they neglected having mercy and seeking to know the Lord more fully. Having the mind of Christ is the foundation inwhich we build a relationship with Jesus.

  5. 11 Also, O Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee, when I returned the captivity of my people.

While it sounds like a cliche at times, got really does have a plan and something beautiful set for every person. It’s entirely up to us whether or not that is carried out but God does have a good and perfect will in which he desires for each person. The prophecy that went out last night is 100% accurate but that doesn’t mean it’s going to happen without the church putting their faith to the feet. We have to go out and we have to do our part. We have to reach out to people that come across our pathway and love people where they are. We cannot have the harvest God has intended for us without us being obedient to his word

  6. Verse 3 CEV “Let’s do our best to know the Lord. His coming is as certain as the morning sun; he will refresh us like rain renewing the earth in the springtime.” Same verse AMP “So let us know and become personally acquainted with Him; let us press on to know and understand fully the [greatness of the] Lord [to honor, heed, and deeply cherish Him]. His appearing is prepared and is as certain as the dawn, And He will come to us [in salvation] like the [heavy] rain, Like the spring rain watering the earth.”

James 4:7-10 MSG says “So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him make himself scarce. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin. Purify your inner life. Quit playing the field. Hit bottom, and cry your eyes out. The fun and games are over. Get serious, really serious. Get down on your knees before the Master; it’s the only way you’ll get on your feet.” LIVE-GIVE JESUS² now!

  7. 1. Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

    2. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

So often God works in patterns, and one event can be the foreshadowing of another. He was smitten and torn so that we could be healed; then died for our sins and was raised up on the third day so that we could live in His sight!

    Isaiah 53:5
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

    Luke 24:46
And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

  8. Hosea 6:6-7 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
    7) But they like men have transgressed the covenant; there have they dealt treacherously against me.
Mark 12: 33 And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself , is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
Having and Building a Better Relationship with Jesus is more than a sacrifice.
    Thank you Jesus.

  9. 1 Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

God is so good!! This word is still alive today we try to compel other to come and see what Jesus can do for them and also to encourage others to come to the house of the Lord. Thank You Jesus!!

  10. 1 Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
The faithfulness of my GOD will never be matched but i can do my best especially having been blessed with the INDWELLING OF THE HOLY GHOST!!! WE CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST!!!

  11. To know Him

6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

To know God is the foundation of a Christian believer. We can sing the songs and misquote the word all day long but until we know Him we are just making noise. A real relationship starts with the desire and continual work to get to know someone. As we grow in that relationship it is because we are getting to know them better. It is that simple. Getting to know the heart of God is the primary work that we as Christians will do. Everything else will fall into place if we put that first in our lives.

  12. 6:1 come and let us return unto the Lord
For he hath torn and he will heal us
He has smitten, and he will bind us up.

Hallelujah 🙌 for he is a merciful God.
Slow to anger, great in mercy.
    He is righteous.
And he knows how and when to begin and stop something.
    He is all knowing.
Today is the day of salvation 🙌
    Now is the time.
    Hallelujah

  13. The New Living Translation -Come, let us return to the Lord.
    He has torn us to pieces;
    now he will heal us.
    He has injured us;
now he will bandage our wounds.
2 In just a short time he will restore us,
so that we may live in his presence.
3 Oh, that we might know the Lord!
Let us press on to know him.
He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn
or the coming of rains in early spring.”

    4 “O Israel[a] and Judah,
what should I do with you?” asks the Lord.
“For your love vanishes like the morning mist
and disappears like dew in the sunlight.
5 I sent my prophets to cut you to pieces—
to slaughter you with my words,
with judgments as inescapable as light.
    6 I want you to show love,[b]
    not offer sacrifices.
I want you to know me[c]
more than I want burnt offerings.
7 But like Adam,[d] you broke my covenant
    and betrayed my trust.

8 “Gilead is a city of sinners,
    tracked with footprints of blood.
9 Priests form bands of robbers,
waiting in ambush for their victims.
They murder travelers along the road to Shechem
and practice every kind of sin.
10 Yes, I have seen something horrible in Ephraim and Israel:
My people are defiled by prostituting themselves with other gods!

11 “O Judah, a harvest of punishment is also waiting for you,
though I wanted to restore the fortunes of my people.
God wants us to listen to him. God wants us to obey him. He is a jealous God. He wants all of us. He gives us so so much
. He deserves all our worship and all our praise. After all yesterday Pastor said “what have you done for him”? I love POFW LIVEJESUSGIVEJESUS2

  14. Hosea‬ ‭6:1‬ ‭NLT“Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces; now he will heal us. He has injured us; now he will bandage our wounds.”
Sometimes the Lord will tear you down so He can build you up. The tearing down wouldn’t be so bad if you didn’t resist.
‭But God is our healer, our comforter. He will restore you.

  15. ““O Israel and Judah, what should I do with you?” asks the Lord. “For your love vanishes like the morning mist and disappears like dew in the sunlight.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭6:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Can you imagine how this feels. To be felt loved and then to feel betrayed the next moment. When we turn our backs to Gods this is what he feels. Nobody deserves to feel this way. We should love God will all of our hearts. Sometimes we may mess up and take a step backwards but get up and get it right.

Love God like you what your love ones loving you.

    REVIVAL NOW

1 Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

REVIVAL NOW was birthed in my spirit 18 years ago. We were a church of about 30 people and JESUS let me SEE what HE desired to do in our city. I saw a SUDDENLY REVIVAL of all nations, kindred and races coming together as ONE Body of Believers under the umbrella of The Pentecostals of Fort Worth.

We were multicultural and multigenerational through which The SPIRIT of our savior JESUS would flow through in waves of GLORY. The HARVEST of souls was so GREAT that we were witness to a 3000 soul REVIVAL in downtown Fort Worth.

JESUS has instructed me to preach this message every year since that initial WORD in 2003.

REVIVAL NOW begins with us returning to JESUS. Returning to our Apostolic Praying, Serving, Living, Worship and Doctrines. JESUS will REVIVE us and we will RISE in HIS Spirit.

I sense, feel and anticipate that our RISE began on Sunday 7/11/21 In The SPIRIT.

Lets be sensitive this week and pray for the children at VBS and for Sundays services for JESUS to draw people as we compel them to come in that HIS house may be FULL.

  17. 1 Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

This is what every person that is living for God should be preaching to every sinner that we come into contact with, every backslider that we know, every love one that is a part of our family, and every person that will listen. It’s not a complicated message for us to preach. It is simply Jesus is the way, the truth, the light and no man can enter heaven without going through him. Salvation is free and Jesus’s blood covers every multitude of sin. So the process is an easy one, we can not be timid and shy to preach it. We can not afford the world an opportunity to intimidate us and we not fulfill our calling to be a witness for Jesus Christ. He will heal us and he will bind us up. It’s time to get going because time is short. Don’t let it slip by.

  18. 6 I want you to show love, not offer sacrifices. I want you to know me more than I want burnt offerings.
    Hosea 6:6 NLT

    https://bible.com/bible/116/hos.6.6.NLT

There’s a major difference between just coming to church and having a relationship with God. If we don’t commune with God each day then according to this scripture it’s like our offerings mean nothing. Lord, help us cut away flesh and draw closer to you today. In Jesus name.

  19. Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces; now he will heal us. He has injured us; now he will bandage our wounds.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭6:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It is the same God that tore them, who will forgive them and cause them to begin again. God chastises His people as a loving parent. He is also full of grace and love for the very same people. God is our Judge, but He is also our Redeemer.

  20. AMP – 6 For I desire and delight in [steadfast] loyalty [faithfulness in the covenant relationship], rather than sacrifice, And in the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

    Revelation 4:11
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

The whole purpose for creation was for man to have a covenant with God, to build relationship. Loyalty and Faithfulness in all things to God is His desire for us. The best thing we can give the Lord is our entire self, withholding nothing. If we prove ourselves faithful in relationship with Him, He will definitely return in kind and be faithful to us.

  21. Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
    Hosea 6:1 KJV

God is continuously extending His hand of mercy. He desires relationship with us and if we are willing to take the first step towards Him, He will step in to heal and restore.

  22. Hosea 6:6 I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burn offerings.

Proverbs 21:3 To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.

We must serve him in Spirit and Truth

  23. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus2
1 Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

Wow, this is the way the Lord works. he will correct with hardship and then heal in mercy. This type of correction that the Lord issues out hoping that we will humble ourselves from pride.

  24. 1 Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

Return and be healed, be revived and raised up. This is the message I hear now because we desire the former and the latter rain of the Holy Ghost to fall in our city. We have many that need to return and we all need to be in the Spirit to labor together to see the harvest God has already prepared for the POFW.

  25. “I want you to show love, not offer sacrifices. I want you to know me more than I want burnt offerings. But like Adam, you broke my covenant and betrayed my trust.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭6:6-7‬ ‭NLT‬‬
Having a daily relationship with our God is not a temporary fix. Just like a marriage, it’s not a temporary relationship in a marriage trust is built from the beginning of the day you met your spouse. There is respect one for another. It isn’t like a napkin that you use to wipe your hands and face after eating your dinner, just to throw it away. A relationship with your spouse is “until death do us part.” This scripture in the book of proverbs says:

“A worthy wife is a crown for her husband, but a disgraceful woman is like cancer in his bones.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭12:4‬ ‭
As a wife I want to make my husband happy and thankful that he married me, with no regrets.

Our relationship with God must be priority in every man or woman’s life. Daily and early in the morning it’s my desire to seek God in my worship, in prayer, and studying the wholeness and the beauty of who he is. Today my prayer is to obey the voice of GOD in my life, to love, and please my Heavenly Father.

“But Samuel replied, “What is more pleasing to the Lord: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.”
    ‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭15:22‬ ‭

“In the way of righteousness is life; And in the pathway thereof there is no death.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭12:28‬ ‭KJV

  26. Hosea 6:2-3
[2]In just a short time he will restore us, so that we may live in his presence.
[3]Oh, that we might know the lord! Let us press on to know him. He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring.”

We “live in His sight,” in the way of duty, when we refer ourselves and our whole being, our courses of action, our thoughts, our love, to Him, remembering that we are ever in His presence, and ever seeking to please Him. “We live in His sight,” in the bliss of His presence, when we enjoy the sense of His favor, and know that His Eye rests on us in love, that He cares for us, guides us, guards us; and have some sweetness in contemplating Him. Much more fully shall we live in His sight, when, in Him, we shall be partakers of His Eternal Life and Bliss, and shall behold Him “face to face,” and “see Him as He is,” and the sight of Him shall be our bliss, “and in His light we shall see light.” We all will also experience God’s kind restoration, peace, and protection. God’s promises are infinitely more substantial and reliable than our perceptions. The great messianic restoration, is what made David sing for joy in Psalm 23.

    Psalms 23:1-6
[1]The lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.
[2]He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.
[3]He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.
[4]Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.
[5]You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.
[6]Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the lord forever.

    Psalms 36:9
For you are the fountain of life, the light by which we see.

    Ephesians 2:8 ESV
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God

    Titus 3:5 ESV
He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit

  27. 2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

Thank you Jesus that you took my place on calvary for my sins. Thank you Jesus because you r coming back for your people.

  28. Hosea 6:1-2 (AMP)
    1) Come and let us return (in repentance) to the LORD, for He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bandage us.
    2) After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up that we may live before Him.

When we come to the LORD with true REPENTANCE, HE will Heal Us, Bandage Us, Revive Us, and Raise Us Up, so that we can Live before HIM.
    Thank You JESUS!!

  29. Hosea 6:1-2 (AMP)
    1) Come and let us return (in repentance) to the LORD, for He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bandage us.
    2) After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up that we may live before Him.

  30. Hosea 6:1-2 (AMP)
    1) Come and let us return (in repentance) to the LORD, for He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bandage us.
    2) After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up that we may live before Him.
When we come back to Lord how wonderful He heals us

  31. vs-4
O Ephraim what shall i do unto thee? O Judah what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud and as the early dew it goeth away.
WHAT CAN I DO WITH YOU ?
Many of parents has echoed Gods frustration. The answer is keep on disciplining. Keep on loving. Like ancient Israel children have freedom of choice. Leys be constant so they can have an anchor for the inner change they need to make.

  32. Church Hurt

I know its out of context for what we are reading but I cannot get away from the words and thoughts it provoked. Verse 9; “…the company of priests murder in the way by consent…” Why does “church hurt” go so deep and in some cases last a lifetime? I believe it is because of the very nature of the organization of a neighborhood House of Worship. Jesus calls people to him. Sometimes people come quickly and fall in love with Jesus and remain the most devote person ever. This is not always the case.

Some people only show up once they have reached the proverbial bottom of their lives. Now, when they answer the call of God, they have nothing left. They truly – and sometimes the only time in their life – open themselves up to be ministered to. Much like our parents, we see church leaders as having authority – Godly authority. We look to them to lead us and shepherd us well. We trust them with our hearts and with our areas of vulnerability.

Allow me to state the obvious: the church is made of people. We are created in His image and expected to live that way, however, there are at least three ways in which we cannot: we sin, we are finite, and we change. Each of these will take a toll on our life and can affect the lives of those around us.

Also, just as obvious but most of the time forgotten in times like these – there is a common enemy of the church, satan. When it comes to the deep wounds the church can inflict, remember who the real enemy is. Behind the conflict or the offending person is a crafty strategist whose ruthless plan involves destroying God’s people, or at least rendering their faith inactive. We must remember that satan is actively seeking people to devour.

  33. 1 Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
    Amen!!

  34. ““Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces; now he will heal us. He has injured us; now he will bandage our wounds. In just a short time he will restore us, so that we may live in his presence.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭6:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God has a way of breaking you down just to put the pieces back together and build you back up again. If we just submit to his will and don’t resist the process wouldn’t be as difficult or hurtful as it is. It’s when we resist gods construction on our lives that we endure more pain. Let us just submit and make the process more easier because they is a reason to god breaking us down to build us back up.

  35. Hosea 6
For I desire and delight in [steadfast] loyalty [faithfulness in the covenant relationship], rather than sacrifice,
And in the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.(B)

This walk with God cannot be a religion. It must be about relationship. Anything done religiously is just a habit. In a true relationship it gives further than just habitual habits. Why do relationships begin to crumble? Habitual I love you or even lack of communication begins to set in and soon you have strayed from one another without realizing it. It’s the same way Israel began to stray from their first love and became a backslidden nation . We truly must keep our relationship true and stay close to God .
Obedience and true loyalty to Jesus Christ is far greater than any sacrifice.

  36. Hosea 6

1 Come, land let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

The Holy spirit dwells in our hearts with faith. The closer we get to God, the more blessings He can bestow upon us. This world seems so increasingly hopeless, but God is the hope of Glory. All things are possible with God! Sometimes we go through trials. Often God gets our attention this way. If we start being like lost sheep, Jesus gets our attention to help us get on the right path.
Thank you Jesus for this day.

  37. “O Ephraim, what shall I do with you? O Judah, what shall I do with you? For your [wavering] loyalty and kindness are [transient] like the morning cloud And like the dew that goes away early.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭6:4‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Is your love wavering? Is your commitment unstable?

We cannot just decide when we do and don’t want to live for God.

If we are going to serve Him, we must serve Him with our WHOLE heart at ALL times.

  38. 1 Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

There is life in God. Sin separates us from the source of life. The wage of sin is death so people walk around “living” life with a sense of death. An emptiness a void. God is the only one that can fill that and fill it with life.

  39. Hosea Chapter 6

1 Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

11 Also, O Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee, when I returned the captivity of my people.

All I may say is this: Psalm 103:1 [[A Psalm of David.]] Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

Psalm 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits

Psalm 103:22 Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

Psalm 104:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

  40. 1 Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

Every wound, God is able to heal. There is no cut that is too deep for God to tend to. If we allow God, he can give us the direction we need to go forth in his name. We are stronger when we follow after him. God is able to heal every broken heart. When we feel defeated, he let’s us know that we are winners.

  41. 6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

Let us know the heart of God. Giving of time and money it great but it is all for nothing if we don’t truly know how.

  42. “In just a short time he will restore us, so that we may live in his presence.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭6:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This is God’s will for our lives – that we live in His presence, following His example. He loves us so much age became the living sacrifice! Thank you Jesus for loving us so much and always being faithful

  43. 3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

  44. ““Come on, let’s go back to God. He hurt us, but he’ll heal us. He hit us hard, but he’ll put us right again. In a couple of days we’ll feel better. By the third day he’ll have made us brand-new, Alive and on our feet, fit to face him. We’re ready to study God, eager for God-knowledge. As sure as dawn breaks, so sure is his daily arrival. He comes as rain comes, as spring rain refreshing the ground.””
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭6:1-3‬ ‭MSG‬‬

This Scripture means that, God will do whatever It takes to make Old People New even through Tragedy.

  45. 2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

The day of His return is coming very soon. We must be ready for this time cause it could be at any moment. So let’s do and chose things very wisely always! I pray tonight that you seek Him and the m kingdom first always!

  46. “Oh, that we might know the Lord! Let us press on to know him. He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭6:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

As Gods children we should want to know him, we should want to grow in him more and more for he is our creator and our protector. God has done so much for us and we should want to acknowledge him more daily, and want to give him all of our praise and thanks. God has never failed us and will continue to bless us, and as he does I pray we continue to lift him up and we continue to spread his word no matter what.

  47. Return

Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

As humans we tend to return to places and people that treat us with respect and love. I would rather return to restaurants and business establishments that are respectable and have great customer service.

Yet when it comes to God it’s hard for the sinner to return? Yet is it or is it that one is no wrapped up in their desires of sin being meet that they see Gods call to repent and turn away from the world as less desirable becauseones heart is still desiring the sin?

  48. “I sent my prophets to cut you to pieces— to slaughter you with my words, with judgments as inescapable as light. I want you to show love, not offer sacrifices. I want you to know me more than I want burnt offerings.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭6:5-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.”
    ‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭15:22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Obedience is better than sacrifice. All that God wants is for us to be obedient.

  49. 6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

This verse hits so many points in such few words. How many do you know that are a prime example of this verse?? Possibly you yourself! Wanting and desiring unending mercy, without having to make any sacrifices to one self, character, or daily life. Someone who wants to know about our God, however, they do not want to burn any belongings, past history, or lifestyles to make a change. Pray for those longing to just be able to make changes, but not willing to put the work in.

  50. ““O Israel and Judah, what should I do with you?” asks the Lord. “For your love vanishes like the morning mist and disappears like dew in the sunlight.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭6:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Could you imagine? If anyone he has ever had their heart broken most would say that don’t forgive that other person doing the heart breaking. It’s like God kept walking in on a nation cheating on him with false idols. That’s why it’s like everytime we choose our own will over the will of God. The difference is God keeps taken you back and tells you everything is gonna be okay. We can’t keep doing this to the Lord He loves us and and the least we can do and stuff consistent with loving him

  51. 3Oh, that we might know the LORD!
Let us press on to know him.
He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn

To know the Lord, we have to speak to the Lord. Do this thru prayer, asking for healing, miracles and blessings. Reading the Word you’ll gain knowledge of the Lord. Do this daily, you’ll know the Lord much better and be closer to the Lord.
