Hosea 10

Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.

Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.

For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the Lord; what then should a king do to us?

They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: thus judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.

The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Bethaven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.

It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.

As for Samaria, her king is cut off as the foam upon the water.

The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.

O Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did not overtake them.

10 It is in my desire that I should chastise them; and the people shall be gathered against them, when they shall bind themselves in their two furrows.

11 And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.

12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

13 Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.

14 Therefore shall a tumult arise among thy people, and all thy fortresses shall be spoiled, as Shalman spoiled Betharbel in the day of battle: the mother was dashed in pieces upon her children.

15 So shall Bethel do unto you because of your great wickedness: in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.

  1. 13 Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men

It’s better to trust God in situations versus us having to question why to God. He is in control. Thank you Jesus!

  2. 12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Their only hope of escape would be in repentance and seeking the Lord. But Israel must reap the fruit of its sinful dependence on chariots and soldiers.

  3. “Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭10:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Why is it that we can so easily think that our way is above the LORD JESUS CHRIST? How foolish! Daily must I humble myself before the LORD and allow Him to lead that I may follow.

“All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; But the LORD weigheth the spirits.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  4. 12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

If we seek to please the Lord, He will lead us unto a path that will bless us and escape His wrath.

  5. Verse 2 CEV “You are deceitful and disloyal. So you will pay for your sins, because the Lord will destroy your altars and images.” The Israelites made some evil decisions and God was not pleased as we read in verse 4 ERV “They make promises, but they are only telling lies. They don’t keep their promises. They make agreements with other countries. God does not like those agreements. The judges are like poisonous weeds growing in a plowed field.” Lies are poisonous weeds that will overtake your field, your heart and if not careful, your entire being.

Verses 12-13 ERV says “If you plant goodness, you will harvest faithful love. Plow your ground, and you will harvest with the Lord. He will come, and he will make goodness fall on you like rain. But you planted evil, and you harvested trouble. You ate the fruit of your lies, because you had trusted in your power and your soldiers.” In the MSG version the chapter is captioned “You Thought You Could Do It All on Your Own” and this is what many may think; but, the end of the chapter shows the end result as it says “…..That’s what’s ahead for you, you so-called people of God, because of your off-the-charts evil. Some morning you’re going to wake up and find Israel, king and kingdom, a blank—nothing.” If your not careful, you may wake up one day with nothing because of what you keep planting! Romans 12:21 AMP tells us “Do not be overcome and conquered by evil, but overcome evil with good.” LIVE-GIVE JESUS² .

  6. 12. I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for NOW is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.’ NLT

NOW is the time to seek the Lord; it could very easily be NOW or Never!

    Romans 13:
    11. And that, knowing the time, that NOW it is high time to awake out of sleep: for NOW is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

    12. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. KJV

  7. 1 Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.

The previous chapter God tells the people that he saw them as a grapevine when he first found them, contrary to our thinking that when God finds us we are usually an absolute mess and in this chapter we see that God is telling Israel they are an empty vine, and bringing fruit to themselves. What we see and what God sees are two different things. God sees the potential that he put inside of us while we see our current situation. As Israel grew to become abundant they probably had seen themselves as something more well God saw them as an empty Vine. I want to see myself the way God sees me, and I don’t want to be deceived by my own self-image as anything less or anything more

  8. “Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭10:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Want to know how to stay submitted to God? – Sow yourself in righteousness and in turn we can reap mercy. This mercy applies to our life and the lives of those around us. Luke says Be he merciful for your Father also is merciful. When we sow into the attributes of God, we reap the blessings of God. It is time to seek the Lord POFW!

  9. 4 They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: thus judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.

Sometimes when we say things, we need to make sure what it is we are saying. We can not enter into a vow and not uphold it. There comes responsibilities with our responses to others and also to God. If you do not want to have the judgment of God come upon you then make sure you truly understand what you are committing to.

I find that we have to think before we speak. Believe it or not there is revelation in that statement. When we talk to God there is always a clear line of communication between us and God. There is never an obstacle unless we put it there. So remember we are going to be judged by every word we speak.

  10. 12 sow to yourselves in righteousness reap in mercy
Break up Callie ground, for it is time to sell the lord
Till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
    —-
    It’s time. After much inquiry,
It’s time, ITS TIME!!!! It’s time to seek the lord in such a way
He will teach, he will guide.
    No more self.
That I may decrease, so that he will increase.
    Hallelujah 🙌
Blessed be the name of the lord.
I will bless you lord, as long as live
And in your name, I will lift up my hands.
    I will bless the lord
At all times, and hoods praise shall continually
    Be in my mouth.
    In Jesus name

  11. Oh que cierto es de la abundancia del Corazon habla la Boca si hablas iniquidad tu estas lleno de rencor, mejor habla luz y habla bendiciones asi tu podras persuadir a tu mente y corazon a que hable lo mejor de ti.

  12. 12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

You reap what you sow. Time is running out. Seek the Lord now before it’s to late.

  13. Sometimes the Lord will bless us by keeping us from
Being “rich”. There’s a reason why he doesn’t make some of us rich because he knows that we wouldn’t know how to handle it.

Maybe our flesh is to too weak and can’t handle the discipline.

“How prosperous Israel is— a luxuriant vine loaded with fruit. But the richer the people get, the more pagan altars they build. The more bountiful their harvests, the more beautiful their sacred pillars.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭10:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I heard a preacher say one time. “There’s a reason why God didn’t make me rich, I won’t be able to win the fight with my flesh”

We have to honest with ourselves. We have to know our own boundaries.

  14. Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭10:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Sow righteousness, reap love. It’s time to till the ready earth, it’s time to dig in with God, Until he arrives with righteousness ripe for harvest.
Praise God for his word! His word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path!!

  15. 12 I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.’
    Hosea 10:12 NLT

    https://bible.com/bible/116/hos.10.12.NLT

This is where prayer comes in every morning. Allow God to show us the hardened places in our heart so that may be broken up, seeds planted, and we can truly operate from a place of love.

  16. 12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Jesus is coming back and repentance is our only answer!! These days watching the news just breaks my heart. People just keep killing each other over small things. It seems like everyday there is something about a child killing their parents or parents killing their child. The largest enemy in this world seems to be a human being. I think we have gotten worse than the days of Noah. The only way to survive is JESUS!!! The only way out is JESUS!! REPENTANCE AND FALLING AT JESUS FEET IS OUR SALVATION!!! BAPTISM IN JESUS NAME AND FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST WITH THE EVIDENCE OF SPEAKING IN OTHER TONGUES IS PUR ONLY SALVATION!!! Thank you Jesus for you always make a way!

  17. Hosea 10:12
I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the lord,
that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.’

    Proverbs 11:17-19
[17]Your kindness will reward you, but your cruelty will destroy you.
[18]Evil people get rich for the moment, but the reward of the godly will last.
[19]Godly people find life; evil people find death.

There are many ways to invest our lives, but none offers greater reward than devoting ourselves to the pursuit of righteousness. Every area of our lives should reflect the holiness of God that is ours by salvation: our thoughts, so that nothing we think about would be inappropriate for a child of God; our actions, so that our lives demonstrate that we serve a holy God; our integrity, so that we are above reproach in all our relationships. Righteousness is something you must allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life.

    Matthew 6:33
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

  18. 12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

13 Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.

We r so like Israel. We can be so wicked. But there is good news. Christ died for our sins and we can repent and be forgiven. Praise Jesus

  19. 12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Praise Jesus. This crazy thing won’t let me post.

  20. Hosea 10
2 Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.

Daddy use to sing a song You Can’t Serve God and Mammon ….that’s what that good book says.
What a sad ending to those who have left God and keep going after the world. Thinking they can do anything and God us going to allow them to continue in sun. I’m truly not sure what will shake this world today and our nations back not a true love for God.

    Matthew 6:24
“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

Judgement is.coming whether dad believe it or not.
15 That’s what’s ahead for you, you so-called people of God, because of your off-the-charts evil. Some morning you’re going to wake up and find Israel, king and kingdom, a blank – nothing.

  21. Hosea 10:12 [amp] Sow for yourselves according to righteous ( up righteous and right standing with God); reap according to mercy and loving – kindness. Break up your uncultured ground, for it’s time to seek the Lord, to inquire His favor, till He comes and teaches you righteous and rains His righteous gift of salvation upon you.
2 Corinthians 9:10 And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiple your [ resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of your righteous [ which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness, and charity].
Why wait any longer it time for a change!
    In Jesus name.

  22. Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Psalm 126:5,6 They that sow in tears so reap in joy. He that goeth with forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Proverbs 11:18 The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.

Seek the Lord and sow righteousness

  23. 12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
13 Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.

Break up your fallow ground: land tilled but left without planting seeds. We must plant seeds for the harvest! VBS is sowing seed in the hearts of every child and volunteer and there is still more to do. We can sow seeds on our jobs, to our families and neighbors…ask the Lord to open the door so you can speak/teach/witness about Him.

  24. I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.’ “But you have cultivated wickedness and harvested a thriving crop of sins. You have eaten the fruit of lies— trusting in your military might, believing that great armies could make your nation safe.
    Hosea 10:12‭-‬13 NLT

Heed the Word of the Lord! He is speaking and calling to us. We must be sensitive to the Spirit and follow where He leads and what He says. This nation, this world needs Jesus and we are the ones who are called to lead them to Christ!!

  25. all break his clods.

It is always better to trust in the Lord even when it is not what you wanted. Their is two ways and that is the Lord in righteousness or in satan evil.

  26. LIVE – GIVE JESUS2
    DO YOURSELF SOME GOOD

12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

It seems as though some people are playing the waiting game. Stuck in a rut, confined to a self induced holding pattern. Waiting on help, assistance or someone to come and deliver them.

I have GREAT news. JESUS is alive and well. JESUS has already paid the price for us to be free from sin, every chain is broken, every fetter is loosed, every yoke is destroyed. But why are some people still bound by sin?

In my 18 plus years of pastoring and 20 plus years of full time ministry. My observation is this, people do not really take the Gospel serious. Its promises not its judgments.

However when we really choose to LIVE JESUS here is our path to eternal life with HIM.

    1. SOW to yourself RIGHTEOUSNESS – Do the RIGHT thing ALWAYS when we do the RIGHT thing we SOW or plant Righteousness into our lives.

    2. Mercy is promised when we SOW in Righteousness.

    3. Break up your fallow ground – Break up your HARD places. HARD Feeloings, HARD Heart, HARD Ways, HARD Head = Stubbornness

    4. SEEK the LORD – Stop seeking riches, pleasure, entertainment and recognition and SEEK the LORD.

5.KEEP Doing it! – Till HE Comes. Don’t quit.

The one common factor in all 5 of these steps found in Hosea 10:12 is YOU. Each action is the responsibility of SELF, YOU, ME, I. GOD gives us the opportunity to control our destiny by how we approach HIM.

We must STOP blaming other people for our failures and take the initiative to repair what is missing, broken or lost.

    IT is TIME

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iLive
    iGive
    iReap
    iGo

  27. TLB – 10 “How prosperous Israel is—a luxuriant vine all filled with fruit! But the more wealth I give her, the more she pours it on the altars of her heathen gods; the richer the harvests I give her, the more beautiful the statues and idols she erects. 2 The hearts of her people are false toward God. They are guilty and must be punished. God will break down their heathen altars and smash their idols.”

What are we doing with the blessings God blesses us with? Are we like Israel filling our lives with more things? Are we using the blessing of the Lord to bless others? Bless HIs Kingdom? Do the work of the Lord? God blesses us to be a blessing to the Kingdom of God. Yes it’s ok to have nice things, but it’s not okay to make those “things” our idol. It’s not okay to work to buy more and more while the world is going to hell, and the Kingdom of God suffers.

We don’t want to be like the Israel that is described in this chapter where everything is about them. If all our focus is always about “us” then we need to refocus our eyes on Jesus – and the things of this world will growly strangely dim when Heaven and Kingdom Purpose is in our view.

  28. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus2

    KJV
Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.
2 Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.
3 For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the LORD; what then should a king do to us?

We all have to be careful not to bear fake fruit. Verse one describes Israel as “an empty” vine that brings forth “fruit” unto himself. How else can an empty vine bring forth fruit? The truth of the matter is the fruit isn’t from God but from self. We must all be careful to be in the vine so we can bear genuine fruit.

  29. Hosea 10:12-13
    12) Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy: break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
    13) Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.

    Galatians 6:7-8 says…
    7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap,
    8) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

These verses are speaking of Sowing and Reaping, and Galatians 6:7-8 plainly tells us that we are going to Reap what we Sow. Flesh – Corruption or Spirit – Life Everlasting.

  30. The Living Bible vs-13
But you have cultivated wickedness and raised a thriving crop of sins. You have earned the full reward of trusting in a lie-believing that military might and great armies can make a nation safe.
Dont look in the mirror and admire your spiritual muscles. Look to God and admire His.
Depended on your own strength you will end up in hell. When trouble comes depend on God. Dont depend on the church when you are not doing what or Pastor teaches us to do . Just showing up and keeping a seat warm will not CUT IT. If your reading this blog this blogger is speaking from experience.

  31. 6 It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.

Sounds like the world we live in right now!!! This is why we need JESUS AND THE CHURCH!!! We cannot have one without the other, If so we will fall and get up and do it all over again, there will never be maturity without the church, it is a cycle this world loves to feed us, so we would be unable to fulfill the vision, we would never have what GOD meant for us to have !!!

  32. 13 Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.

They knew that they were in the wrong but they still kept on ,they took Gods mercy for granted. Therefore they will pay for what they have done.

  33. 2 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

15 So shall Bethel do unto you because of your great wickedness: in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.

A hard heart will not recieve the word of God. A farmer must plow up the ground before he plants seed. We must break up the hardness of our hearts so we can recieve from God the seed of his word.

Israel, because of it’s sin and disobedience, lost it’s king. It’s amazing the parallel between Israel of old and present day America. Because of America’s indifference to sin and immorality and murder of innocence babies, lost it’s king (president). We are without a king now. We need to pray as never before, for revival and the restoration of a righteous king (president).

  34. Hosea 10

2 Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.

11 And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to rede; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.

12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Follow our Lord to be blessed and go to Heaven. Why not be with the Lord and go to Heaven instead of hell?

  35. For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the Lord; what then should a king do to us?

There is no God or King like our God.
We need to fear and follow the lord.
Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

God wants everyone one to decide what we believe and own up to it and either follow our own will or ways or follow him the righteous one king or kings.

  36. “Israel is a luxuriant and prolific vine; He produces fruit for himself. The more his fruit, The more altars he made [to Baal]; The richer his land, The better he made the [idolatrous] pillars.”
    ‭‭HOSEA‬ ‭10:1‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Sin will take you farther than you want to go. And it will keep you longer and you want to stay. We must end this vicious cycle of sin. Cut it off and destroy it from our lives.

“So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you. Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people]. Be miserable and grieve and weep [over your sin]. Let your [foolish] laughter be turned to mourning and your [reckless] joy to gloom. Humble yourselves [with an attitude of repentance and insignificance] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up, He will give you purpose].”
    ‭‭JAMES‬ ‭4:7-10‬ ‭AMP‬‬

  37. “How prosperous Israel is— a luxuriant vine loaded with fruit. But the richer the people get, the more pagan altars they build. The more bountiful their harvests, the more beautiful their sacred pillars. The hearts of the people are fickle; they are guilty and must be punished. The Lord will break down their altars and smash their sacred pillars.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭10:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God will not allow this. He wanted their total allegiance. He would not accept them worshipping Him and false gods at the same time. God requires 100% of our loyalty.

  38. 12 Sow righteousness for yourselves,
reap the fruit of unfailing love,
    and break up your unplowed ground;
for it is time to seek the Lord,
    until he comes
and showers his righteousness on you.

We can’t wait until the Lord comes for us to start seeking Him
    We must seek Him now!

  39. 12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

We should seek the Lord daily. Seeking God regularly, gives us the strength we need to go against the enemy. We cannot do what we want and expect God to move. We must follow his Wil if we want to see the victory.

  40. 12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

13 Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.

We can see the heart of God raging in passion all through this book. Albeit, he talks about chastisement, correction and discipline what he wants even more is restoration, reconciliation. He wants his people to break the hardness of their hearts and seek him. The sad thing is, like the prodigal son, many just wants their portion of blessing and go off wasting their lives with riotous living and though their sinful and personal state are deplorable they don’t seem to capture their own decay and stench. And meanwhile the heart of the Father yearning for that lost son.

The best is that all it takes is one step back a little effort to start coming back. The Bible tells in the story of prodigal that while the son was still a ways far… while he was still far… the Father ran to him! And yes with that same love our heavenly Father yearns for us.

  41. “Now whenever it fits my plan, I will attack you, too. I will call out the armies of the nations to punish you for your multiplied sins.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Many in this world live in doing against the word of the Lord, and live in disobedience. And where all of that is going to take them is into many consequences, and where God will bring them into judgement. As Gods children we must show those living in sin that the Lord is coming back but only for those who lived obeying his word and lived spreading his word. He will leave those who disobeyed and they will all suffer. I pray we protect ourselves and the word of God, and let God guide you no matter what comes your way for he gave us power to overcome, as we help guide those lost unto the Lord before it is to late.

  42. 12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

  43. 11 And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.

God loves us al very dearly and we should always know that!

  44. 12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

When a persons heart is hard and not ready to receive the word and or correction of God we must pray that the fallow ground be broken up. They must seek God with all their heart and turn form unrighteousness. It is always time to seek God. It’s important that we understand that.

  45. 12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

We must be ture with the LORD!!!!

  46. “Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭10:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Seeking the lord and staying in his will will always bring blessings. When you stay in his will no matter what may come your way you will be able to stand strong because you know there is a god who has your back and who is there for you. Being in his will has its benefits. There is peace in his presence. Never stop seeking the lord and his face.

  47. “Then they will say, “We have no king because we didn’t fear the Lord. But even if we had a king, what could he do for us anyway?””
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭10:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The Bible tells us the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
We have to abandon our own desires and wants to follow what Jesus wants us to do. We gotta get in the position where we say not my will but your will be done.

  48. 1 Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.
2 Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.

Abraham Lincoln once said, “A house divided against itself cannot stand,” I don’t know if he blogged and got it from this scripture as well, however, it stands true. Here not only does it state that a divided heart will not work in the end, but also that they will be found at fault. Make up in your mind which side you are on and which path you agree with. Don’t only make up your mind, but let it be shown in your actions and what rolls off your tongue. If people cannot tell what you stand for, then it’s time to stand up and make some daily action changes. Set yourself apart and be an example and witness for Him.

  49. 13 Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.

You reap what you sow. It’s funny how we know this in principle but we are selective in its application. We believe it in a lot of aspects of our lives except and in most cases not in our finances. May God deliver us from this mindset.

We tend to only sow when we reap when this is completely opposite from what God has
