Isaiah 30

Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:

That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!

Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

For his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes.

They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be an help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.

The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.

For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.

Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:

That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord:

10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

12 Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:

13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.

14 And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters’ vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.

15 For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

16 But ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.

17 One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill.

18 And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.

20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:

21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

22 Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.

23 Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.

24 The oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground shall eat clean provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.

25 And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.

26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lordbindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.

27 Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:

28 And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.

29 Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the Lord, to the mighty One of Israel.

30 And the Lord shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.

31 For through the voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod.

32 And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the Lord shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and in battles of shaking will he fight with it.

33 For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the Lord, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.

  1. 18And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
19For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee. 20And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: 21And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. 22Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.

As many people that have walked away from God, they will be able to have opportunity to turn from their ways and be able to find God’s mercy and grace. God has not left them and will not forsake them because he loves each one. Even though that many times we may feel that God is not close to us but we deal with adversity and tests, He is standing by waiting on us to turn to him.

Once we have made the decision to turn away from the world, his commandments and word will cleanse us from our iniquity and cause us to turn a deaf ear to the world and let’s us focus on God’s voice to lead us to an eternal home with him forever. We have to keep our spirit right and our minds made up and keep holding fast to the Lord. He will walk with us on the rest of this journey and we will make it home to glory.

  2. 26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lordbindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.

31 For through the voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod.

Must be understood as symbolic of the Lord’s glory and righteousness. the godless nations will be sifted in a sieve of destruction. Assyria will be beaten down by the Lord, and every stroke of punishment will be accompanied by overjoy music from Judah. The burning fires of Topheth ( hell) are ready to welcome the wicked.

  3. The influence of others in Israel it’s strong, they keep leaning Israel into idolatry and a ay from God. You will think after being freed from slavery in Egypt they will know better. God’s anger is real. There is a time where a decision must be made and the molten images of your life need to be destroyed. You can’t be playing both teams it is one or the best other. Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
    That simple!!!!!! I choose JESUS!!!!

  4. 12 Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:
13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.

God makes it very clear to his people that question him: if you don’t want Yah to be both Lord and savior, there will be destruction in the land because you will have no protection against your enemies. What the people of Israel had failed to realize is that although they had seen many victories and had been given so much, it was not because of them it was truly because they had Yeshua behind them they gave them authority and strength.
If we are going to do anything in this world noteworthy or have any type of significance, it is got to be with our faces to the ground and our knees on the floor giving reverence to the Holy One.

  5. 18. So the LORD must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the LORD is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help.

    19. O people of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. He will be gracious if you ask for help. He will surely respond to the sound of your cries. NLT

God doesn’t operate on our time schedule.
Too often we ask Him something, and when He doesn’t answer right away, we make assumptions from the silence when what we really should have done is waited to find out what He really wants. He really does want the best for us and He can look ahead in time for things we would never see coming.

    Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. KJV

  6. “And as the Lord strikes them with his rod of punishment, his people will celebrate with tambourines and harps. Lifting his mighty arm, he will fight the Assyrians.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30:32‬ ‭NLT‬‬

These people praised when the Lord took care of their battle.
We just let the Lord work it all out half the time then go on with our business when really we should pull out some tambourines and dance and send praises to the Lord of Lords. Praise Him like he’s already defeated your adversary

  7. Isaiah 30:1-2 (amp) Woe to rebellious children says the Lord, who take counsel and carry out a plan, but not Mine; and who make a league and pour out a drink offering, but not of My Spirit, this adding sin to sin.
    (2) That set out to go down into Egypt, and have not asked of Me, to flee to the stronghold
of Pharaoh and to strengthen themselves in his strength and to trust in the shadow of Egypt.
2 Tim. 3:3 For people will be lovers of self and
( utterly) self- centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate ( greedy) desires for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters.
They will be abusive ( blasphemous, scoffers), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane.
God still loves them, there still hope for them to be saved .
But thank God for a pastor of truth and leaders that were there too .
Thank God for word and counseling everyday of my life.

  8. “that this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30:9-10, 12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

How much longer do you choose to live a life of sin? How much longer do you continue to walk away from truth? How much longer do you decide to live in a pigsty? When will you see your self in the eyes of a pig? Come home for the Father is waiting on you.

“Apply thine heart unto instruction, And thine ears to the words of knowledge. Hear thou, my son, and be wise, And guide thine heart in the way. Buy the truth, and sell it not; Also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭23:12, 19, 23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  9. 18 So the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help. 19 O people of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. He will be gracious if you ask for help. He will surely respond to the sound of your cries. 20 Though the Lord gave you adversity for food and suffering for drink, he will still be with you to teach you. You will see your teacher with your own eyes. 21 Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.

  10. 21 and thine ears shall hear a word behind thee
Saying: this is the way walk ye in it, where ye turn
To the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

After all these bad that will to come, because of sin repentance is expected.
    And yes, it’s happening.
And then Gods character…yes he is just. But

10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

The times are always changing, however human nature remains consistent. Today we see the emerging trend for a soft Gospel, which has its roots in the past. We must guard ourselves against rebelling from recognizing the truth.

  13. The Good teacher.

“Though the Lord gave you adversity for food and suffering for drink, he will still be with you to teach you. You will see your teacher with your own eyes.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30:20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

There ain’t no teaching like hands on teaching. The Lord will walk you through the dirt. Let you go through adversity. But he won’t abandon you. Or just leave you hanging. He walk you through it.

Those that have a hard time understanding. The Lord will show you. He’ll teach you with your own two eyes. The Lord says. By experience you learn the best.

Hold on to your faith. You’ll over it. The wise teacher is teaching you.

  14. And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. 15. Isaiah 30:18 And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

God is always willing to wait for us and He blesses those who wait for Him.
    Trust Him!

Proverbs 16:20 He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusted in the Lord, happy is he.

We have a patient and loving God. He gives us many opportunities to come to Him. Humans however are not as patient. We want instant gratification.

God is good!!! He waits for his lost children to turn to him
to give them rest from what they are hurting from and heal them.
    Thank You Jesus!

  18. 15 For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
16 But ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift…
18 And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

Thank God that he watches and waits on the return of his children. He promises them mercy and rest when they return and exhalt him. It’s pride and submission that stands in their way and this stronghold must be broken in their lives! But through prayer, God will work in them and on them.

  19. 1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:

We must attentive to false preachers and prophets. Those teachings will lead you astray. Focus on the true word of God and you will be able to find your way to victory. The truth has the ability to make us all free.

  20. Isaiah 30:22-23
[22]Then you will destroy all your silver idols and your precious gold images. You will throw them out like filthy rags, saying to them, “Good riddance!”
[23]Then the lord will bless you with rain at planting time. There will be wonderful harvests and plenty of pastureland for your livestock.

    Exodus 23:24-25
[24]You must not worship the gods of these nations or serve them in any way or imitate their evil practices. Instead, you must utterly destroy them and smash their sacred pillars.
[25]“You must serve only the lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness.

If you obey God you will be blessed.

  21. Isaiah 30
8-11 So, go now and write this down.
    Put it in a book
So that the record will be there
    to instruct the coming generations,
Because this is a rebel generation,
    a people who lie,
    A people unwilling to listen
    to anything God tells them.
    They tell their spiritual leaders,
    “Don’t bother us with irrelevancies.”
    They tell their preachers,
“Don’t waste our time on impracticalities.
Tell us what makes us feel better.
Don’t bore us with obsolete religion.
That stuff means nothing to us.
Quit hounding us with The Holy of Israel.”

    Quit Hounding Me
How sadly to say there are people today who make this statement . My mind immediately goes to a very popular message my husband preached many times that even my kids knew the message
Kissing the Door of Heaven But Going to Hell
Thank God for ministry that cares . Next time you make the statement I wish that preacher would quit hounding me try saying thank God he has not given up and still on the hunt for my soul. Soon it will be too late and when judgement begins to reign the cry will be why did we not do or listen to what our spiritual leader was saying ?

  22. 9-11 that these people are stubborn rebels who refuse to pay attention to the Lord’s instructions. They tell the seers, “Stop seeing visions!” They tell the prophets, “Don’t tell us what is right. Tell us nice things. Tell us lies. Forget all this gloom. Get off your narrow path. Stop telling us about your ‘Holy One of Israel.’” (NLT)

18 So the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help. (NLT)

God wants to help us, and save us, and lead us, but we first must have a desire for Him. We have to want Jesus and want relationship with Him. We have to want to submit and let Him lead us. We have to want His Will to be done, even if that means letting go of some things. God’s way is perfect and will always lead us to greater things; He will always work it our for our good if we are faithful and wait on Him!

God is like a gentleman who will not force His good and perfect will on anyone who does not desire it. If we choose to not turn to Him, we reject Him, and that can lead to destruction by our own hands.

As for this world, they don’t know which way to go. These upcoming generations have been taught independence and to make their own ways, doesn’t matter what anyone says or if they try to stop you – “follow your heart and do what you want.” This world cries for truth and direction, and it’s our job to lead them in the way of Christ!

  23. ““What sorrow awaits my rebellious children,” says the Lord. “You make plans that are contrary to mine. You make alliances not directed by my Spirit, thus piling up your sins.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    Our actions have consequences. Always.

  24. AMP – 19 [e]O people in Zion, inhabitant in Jerusalem, you will weep no longer. He will most certainly be gracious to you at the sound of your cry for help; when He hears it, He will answer you. 20 Though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of oppression, yet your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will [constantly] see your Teacher. 21 Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.

How many times have we been going through a test and felt like God was no where to be found? Like our prayers was hitting the ceiling and going no further?
We have even wondered if God left us alone to die in our own dlilemma? Yet it is during those times that God shapes us and molds us forms us into a better christian, increases our faith, strengthens our relationship with Him.

Today we find the promises that though He gives us adversity or oppression, He will no longer hide Himself from us, but we will see Him and hear Him as our teacher, giving specific instructions to us.

How much easier the test will be just knowing the outcome, or how to walk during the test we are in. It is easy to pass a test when you are given the answers, likewise, it will be easier to endure the testing of the Lord, when He is within us guiding us through every step of the way.

  25. LIVE – GIVE JESUS2
    BREAD AND WATER

20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:

Studies reveal that the body requires 2 necessities to sustain life in the natural man. BREAD AND WATER. The same can be established in the spiritual man. BREAD (WORD of GOD) and WATER (HOLY SPIRIT).

The prophet establishes a unique approach and representation of the BREAD AND WATER here:

BREAD of Adversity – a state or instance of serious or continued difficulty or misfortune.

GOD will allow and even feed us difficulty and even misfortune as a source of nourishment or strength.

    AND

WATER of Affliction – a cause of persistent pain or distress

GOD will allow or even feed us pain and distress as a source of nourishment or strength.

Understanding the purpose behind this diet from the LORD is important for us to understand that JESUS gives us this nourishment to assist us in turning to HIM for all things. We can become too dependent on the natural that we miss the opportunity to partake of the supernatural love and power of GOD.

The BREAD of Adversity and the WATER of Affliction are intended to turn our hearts to the BREAD of Life – The WORD of GOD and The WATER of the Spirit – The HOLY GHOST to sustain us and even grow us in HIS Kingdom.

  26. “And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So thankful for the Lords grace and mercy in my life. I didn’t know where I’d be without it. He is worthy of all my praise. I’m completely indebted to Him.

  27. “So the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30:18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It’s our own choice, no one, not even God Himself, forces us to serve Him. He gives us free will to choose. I thank God for this because it makes humbling ourselves more meaningful. To know we choose every day, every minute, every second to serve and obey His will – and He honors that.

  28. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus2
1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin

Woah, this verse pricks the heart y’all reckon. How many times do we make decisions without going to the Lord for counsel? Wow, this makes me want to seek God’s council even more now so that I’m covered from the sin that hides around the corner.

  29. vs-10
Which say to the seers See not and to the prophets Prophesy not unto us right things prophesy deceits.
It is dangerous for a patient to ask her doctor only for good news. Once a serious illness is diagnosed it can be treated. If the same illness is simply denied it is likely to kill. It is the same with God’s words through the prophets. Their warnings may not be pleasant. But only if we listen and take them to heart is there hope.

  30. Isaiah 30:1-2 & 20-21
    1) WOE to the rebellious children, which saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me: and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin.

    21) And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Why do so many people want to go down and seek counselling from the world, and try to find their strength in it? when JESUS is our Counsellor – Is. 9:6, “… and His name shall be called,… Counsellor, – and JESUS is our Strength.
When we Hear His Word, JESUS will Teach us and Guide us. HE will Teach us the way to go, and HE will Guide us in the path we are to take.

So today, LISTEN. Hear His Word. Seek His Counselling and Strength. Let Him Teach and Guide you in the way that you should go. Don’t look to the world for answers and direction for it will fail you.
JESUS is the Way, the Truth, and the Life!!

  31. “Now go and write down these words. Write them in a book. They will stand until the end of time as a witness that these people are stubborn rebels who refuse to pay attention to the Lord’s instructions. They tell the seers, “Stop seeing visions!” They tell the prophets, “Don’t tell us what is right. Tell us nice things. Tell us lies.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30:8-10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

These Israelites did not want to hear the truth from the prophets. They wanted to hear things that pleased them, not the truth. That is so much like what people in the church say today. They want to hear that God loves them, but they do not want to hear anything they have to do. They do not want their sins pointed out, so that they can repent and be saved.

  32. Isaiah 30

18 And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

I am thankful that we have a forgiving God. He is so gracious! Once we are saved, baptized in Jesus name and receive the Holy Spirit, our sins from the past are now gone.
Thank you Jesus for this day.

  33. 18 And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.

Adversity and off location are our teachers but we serve a merciful God. When we turn our hearts towards Him in repentance He will hear and answer us. He will give to us healing and favor. His anger will cease and He will draw us to a perfect place created by Him for us.

  34. “What sorrow awaits my rebellious children,” says the Lord. “You make plans that are contrary to mine. You make alliances not directed by my Spirit, thus piling up your sins. For without consulting me, you have gone down to Egypt for help. You have put your trust in Pharaoh’s protection. You have tried to hide in his shade. But by trusting Pharaoh, you will be humiliated, and by depending on him, you will be disgraced.
    Isaiah 30:1‭-‬3 NLT

It matters to the Lord what associations and relationships you get involved in. Whom you allied yourself to and whose help you seek could be what gives you victory or downfall. There is no doubt that God uses people to help his children. Yet the important thing is to be led by the Spirit of God to those associations. It may be that God doesn’t bless what you think is right. This is specially important when you go in agreement or covenant with them as in the example of a business partnership or even a marriage relationship.
It is best to pray and always acknowledge God and wait for him to lead you.

  35. 11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

God is over and above all. He should be out first over any and everything! We must always give Him a good portion out of our day! I pray tonight that you consume your time wisely and Alyssa make sure God is involved!!!

  36. “For without consulting me, you have gone down to Egypt for help. You have put your trust in Pharaoh’s protection. You have tried to hide in his shade.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Going to God first in any situation, any decision you have to make is always going to be the best way and best answer. It’s sad how little faith people have in the Lord to this day, seeing all he has given to them all he has protected and blessed them with. I pray we start looking at where we have put God in our lives, and how much we’ve shown him we trust and thank him. I hope that we start changing our ways, and start seeking God more and more in any situation, and give him your whole praise and thanks, for he will lead you into victory and a righteous life with him. God is the answer to any problem!

  37. “For without consulting me, you have gone down to Egypt for help. You have put your trust in Pharaoh’s protection. You have tried to hide in his shade.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Were do we put our trust in? Trust int the lord for he knows the best for us. Don’t trust your enemies because they will forsake you. Follow His will.

  38. “all who trust in him will be ashamed. He will not help you. Instead, he will disgrace you.””
    Isaiah 30:5 NLT

The world can promise you shelter and can provide all your needs but in the end pharaoh will deceive you and bound you to sin. Trust in the Lord with all your heart lean not to your own understanding and acknowledge God, He shall direct your steps. There’s liberty where the Spirit of the Lord is.

  39. “So the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30:18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God is waiting for us all we have to do is come to him. We are the ones who hinder our blessing because we choose to stray away or do our own thing. God has never changed and never will. We are the ones who change. He remains faithful we need to remain faithful.

  40. 31 For through the voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod.

Through the voice of God, so many things can happen! The mention of His name and when He steps up and says something as well.

    Ezekiel 12:25 -KJV
For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

  41. 9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord:
10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

    What a downhill progression:
    1. Rebellious (starts as simple as stepping out of submission.
    2. Lying- being dishonest/ making excuses for rebellion
    3. Refusing to hear Jesus’s law- The Law is the Word, which is Jesus. People at this point have turned to RUN from Jesus, and are looking for feel good sermons, and drinking buddies for their help, because their pride won’t let them repent..

  42. “For these are rebellious people, deceitful children, children unwilling to listen to the Lord’s instruction. They say to the seers, “See no more visions!” and to the prophets, “Give us no more visions of what is right! Tell us pleasant things, prophesy illusions. Leave this way, get off this path, and stop confronting us with the Holy One of Israel!””
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30:9-11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This is what happens when we stop taking correction. We are rebellious. Rebellion is like witch craft. This spews over onto those around and infects their thoughts with notions of rebellion. We should be joyous shining examples of obedience. Obedience is better than sacrice.

  43. Verse 18 MSG “But God’s not finished. He’s waiting around to be gracious to you. He’s gathering strength to show mercy to you.
God takes the time to do everything right—everything. Those who wait around for him are the lucky ones.” Same verse ERV “So the Lord is waiting to show his mercy to you. He wants to rise and comfort you. The Lord is the God who does the right thing, so he will bless everyone who waits for his help.” Waiting is not always easy; but, we must remember Isaiah 40:31 AMP that says “But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.”

  44. 3 Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

4 For his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes.

5 They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be an help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.

6 The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.

  45. Isaiah Chapter 30

21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

This is the only verse that written like this. The verse Isaiah 30:20 says the Lord’s teachers will be heard. We to have our teachers and I speak blessings over them.

Some of our greatest teachers are those saints who have weathered the storms of life and are still standing. Pastor and others as elders and ministers who have withstood time with Jesus.
