Jeremiah 12

Righteous art thou, O Lord, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?

Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit: thou art near in their mouth, and far from their reins.

But thou, O Lord, knowest me: thou hast seen me, and tried mine heart toward thee: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.

How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.

If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?

For even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with thee; yea, they have called a multitude after thee: believe them not, though they speak fair words unto thee.

I have forsaken mine house, I have left mine heritage; I have given the dearly beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies.

Mine heritage is unto me as a lion in the forest; it crieth out against me: therefore have I hated it.

Mine heritage is unto me as a speckled bird, the birds round about are against her; come ye, assemble all the beasts of the field, come to devour.

10 Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.

11 They have made it desolate, and being desolate it mourneth unto me; the whole land is made desolate, because no man layeth it to heart.

12 The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the Lord shall devour from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall have peace.

13 They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns: they have put themselves to pain, but shall not profit: and they shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce anger of the Lord.

14 Thus saith the Lord against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them.

15 And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.

16 And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The Lord liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.

17 But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the Lord.

    Thank You Jesus!! Hallelujah!

  2. Jeremiah Chapter 12

15 And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land

The Lord I will have compassion on all of Israel. I will bring them back to their home land. They will have their birth wright heritage given back to them. IN 1948 this prophecy started and many have come home and many more will arrive. Psalm 46:7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah Psalm 146:5 Happy is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,

  3. 15 And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.

But later the church will be restored to their lands, and if we turn from idols to God, then we will share His blessings in the midst of His people. Otherwise, we will be wiped out.

  4. 5 If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?

The challenge we face on a daily bases wearied me a lot, sometimes I loose strength to overcome them and I know that if i complain about the simple things God has already ask me to do, then i lack the spiritual strength to do what He wants me to do next.

I pray for strength to overcome the next challenge in my life in Jesús Name!!!! Victory in His Name!

  5. 1 Righteous art thou, O Lord, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?

    Psalm 73:3
For I was envious of the arrogant
As I saw the prosperity of the wicked

Thinking about all the things in this world, I’d be lying if I had not said that a timer to myself that seems like the wicked prospers but alas it’s only through our eyes can we see that. Been seeing through The Eyes of our Almighty father, we can see things much differently. We can see that it’s short-lived for them and it’s only vain pursuits in which their prosperity is surrounded in, but is the righteous man that truly prosperous long term. That finds joy and peace that is unfailing and unmatchable.

  6. Verses 1-4 CEV “Whenever I complain to you, Lord, you are always fair. But now I have questions about your justice. Why is life easy for sinners? Why are they successful? You plant them like trees; you let them prosper and produce fruit. Yet even when they praise you, they don’t mean it. But you know, Lord, how faithful I’ve always been, even in my thoughts. So drag my enemies away and butcher them like sheep! How long will the ground be dry and the pasturelands parched? The birds and animals are dead and gone. And all of this happened because the people are so sinful. They even brag, “God can’t see the sins we commit.”[a] What a dangerous place to be if we think this way. It reminds of when Pastor had said when this pandemic first hit, that if this one thing tore us away from God; how in the world are we going to face what is to come??? This is the problem and God gives us his response (solution) in verses 5-6 ERV “Jeremiah, if running in a race against men makes you tired, how will you race against horses? If you trip and fall in a safe place, what will you do in a dangerous place? What will you do in the thornbushes that grow along the Jordan River? These men are your own brothers. Members of your own family are making plans against you. People from your own family are shouting at you. Don’t trust them, even when they speak to you like friends.” Heed the warnings and trust only in the one who can save you and be your strength….Jesus.

  7. Jeremiah 12:14‭-‬15 NLT
Now this is what the Lord says: “I will uproot from their land all the evil nations reaching out for the possession I gave my people Israel. And I will uproot Judah from among them. But afterward I will return and have compassion on all of them. I will bring them home to their own lands again, each nation to its own possession.

The only way to come back to Jesus is through true repentance. When we repent and turn from our wicked ways, then and only then can God operate. He will uproot our sin and restore our lives.

  8. 5. If racing against mere men makes you tired, how will you race against horses? If you stumble and fall on open ground, what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan? NLT

You have to walk before you can run, and you have to dig a foundation before you can build a building – you can’t ignore the process.
Those who try to take off running without first building a proper foundation in God always find themselves tripping and falling along the way…

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
    Isaiah 40:31 KJV

  9. Jeremiah 12-16-17 ( amp) And if these [ neighbor nations] will diligently learn the ways of My people to swear by My name, saying As the Lord lives, even as they taught My people to swear by Baal, then shall they be built up in the midst of My people.
    17) But if any nation will not hear and obey , I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, says the Lord.
We must obey God instructions or he will strike us with disaster.
2 Chron 7: 14 ) If my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves ,pray, seek, crave and require of necessity My face, and turn from their wicked ways then will I hear from Heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.
    Thank you Jesus.

  10. “If racing against mere men makes you tired, how will you race against horses? If you stumble and fall on open ground, what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan?
    Jeremiah 12:5 NLT

    https://bible.com/bible/116/jer.12.5.NLT

If we don’t allow God to use trials to strengthen us now, how will we survive the times to come?

  11. 16 And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The Lord liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.
17 But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the Lord.

Sounds like the world we live in today!!! HE gives them yet another chance!!! HE IS SO MERCIFUL AND GRACIOUS!!!

  12. 16 And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The Lord liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.
17 But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the Lord.

No matter how wicked someone is the Lord will give them the opportunity to repent. Our is a God of love and part of his holiness is to punish sin in His final judgement.

  13. I love pofw. Live Jesus Give Jesus 2. As the reading went today the teaching is reiterating how we must grasp God’s teaching and adhere to it. Start at the bottom and root yourself into doing what is right in God’s site. If you are having hard time keep on the road and stay steady. If things are in your way reduce some of those things. Narrow your path and focus on staying saved. God will have his arms to you every step of the way.

  14. 6 For even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with thee; yea, they have called a multitude after thee: believe them not, though they speak fair words unto thee.

The only constant you really need in your life is God, his love is greater than anyone else can give.

  15. 6 For even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with thee; yea, they have called a multitude after thee: believe them not, though they speak fair words unto thee.

The only constant you really need in your life is God, his love is greater than anyone else can give.

  17. “How long must this land mourn? Even the grass in the fields has withered. The wild animals and birds have disappeared because of the evil in the land. For the people have said, “The Lord doesn’t see what’s ahead for us!””
    ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭12:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Righteousness exalts a nation. But sin is a reproach to any people. And that’s what was happening in Jeremiah’s day – the whole land was feeling the effects of the sin of its inhabitants.

  18. 1 Lord, you always give me justice
when I bring a case before you.
So let me bring you this complaint:
Why are the wicked so prosperous?
Why are evil people so happy?
    2 You have planted them,
and they have taken root and prospered.
Your name is on their lips,
but you are far from their hearts.

One of the most popular questions I’ve encountered. When someone brings me this question i answer with a question with “Are they really happy” or do they just have everything you want. I can remember being in the mindset of thinking i was completely content with everything I had but in all actuality I was still completely empty until God filled me with the holy Ghost. You see at some point we all think we got it figured out and don’t need anyone’s help but until we let God intervene nothing is gonna change.

  19. 2 NLT “You have planted them, and they have taken root and prospered. Your name is on their lips, but you are far from their hearts.”
‭‭ Matthew‬ ‭15:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.”
They offered the Lord empty words. They did not commit their heart or minds to God.

    RELATIONSHIP

3 But thou, O Lord, knowest me: thou hast seen me, and tried mine heart toward thee: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.

The emotional struggle the prophet identifies here is the optic that the wicked seem to prosper while the righteous endure hardships:

1 Righteous art thou, O Lord, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?

The prophet chose to refer to the RELATIONSHIP that he has enjoyed with GOD rather than accuse GOD, get upset and leave GOD or rebel against GOD. The approach of Jeremiah is a wise lesson to us about RELATIONSHIP with GOD.

    1. He identifies GOD as righteous. v1
    2. He inquires for understanding. v1
    3. He makes a petition for justice. v1
    4. He acknowledges the authority of GOD. v3
    5. He acknowledges the Lordship of GOD. v3
    6. He acknowledges the trials of his faith. v3
    7. He makes petition to remove them. v3

JESUS gave himself on the cross as an investor in RELATIONSHIP with man. Jeremiah demonstrates RELATIONSHIP with GOD here in his concern and petition to GOD. Acknowledging that GOD knows us, knows our heart is a tremendous advantage for us to establish proper RELATIONSHIP with JESUS.

I pray our focus as we seek to LIVE – GIVE JESUS is that we strengthen, enhance and define our RELATIOINSHIP with GOD through Daily Prayer and Daily Bible Reading/Study.

  21. Jeremiah 12:5, “If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trusted, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?”

If we grow weary (tired, worn out, exhausted, fatigued, burn out) now “in the land of peace,” during these times of trials and tests, “how wilt thou do” how will we do later when harder times (swelling of Jordan – where flooding happens and lions and wild animals await) of trials and tests come our way?
The answer is, “If we grow weary now during these times of trials and tests, we’ll never make it later through the harder times of trials and tests.

“If thou hast run?” We are all in this Race, but the Race is not to the swift. We must run this Race with Patience (endurance – patience, stamina, staying power, perseverance, persistence, determination, stickability, grit, spunk), and Look to JESUS the author and finisher of our faith…
If we Keep Our Eyes On JESUS and put our Faith, our Trust, our Confidence, our Hope in HIM, then HE will give us the STRENGTH we need to keep running this Race, to make it through the trials and tests we face now and those that are going to be even harder that are yet to come.

    Thank You JESUS!

  22. 1 AMP. You O LORD are [ uncompromisingly] righteous
And consistently just, when I plead my case with you.
Yet, let me discuss issues of justice with you.
Why has the way of the wicked prospered? Why are those who deal in treachery ( deceit) at ease and thriving.?
    ——-
I am so grateful and glad I can open, I mean fully open
Like an open book, with my daddy. And not necessary
My earthly daddy. But my Abba😊
I can express myself, I can be me, ( not that I am fake)
But truly me. Showing my weaknesses, expressing my fears
Opening my heart and maybe talk to much at times
More than necessary… yet without fear, but with confidence knowing that Jehovah-Shammah is there
Jeremiah open up to the Lord, he was clear and expressed to Him how he felt about certain matters…
Not because he thought that God was missing something
But just because he knew that he needed to let it out of his heart. Maybe also prayed afterwards.
The Omniscient God knew this was coming…
    I listen
    I obey
    I learn
    I wait
    I seek the Lord
    I pray
    I keep believing and trusting.
Even when things seem to be not fair
The righteous almighty God knows what he is doing
And nothing is a surprise to Him.
    Hallelujah 🙌
Blessed be the name of the Lord.
    In Jesus name.

  23. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus2

    (2) Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit: thou art near in their mouth, and far from their reins.

As I was reading this the light came on…BOOM💥
Look at the scripture, God planted these folks, these folks took root, these folks brought forth fruit, praise was in their mouth…but God WAS FAR FROM THEIR REINS. Yep, God established them in the church, they took root, God was in their mouths, they brought forth fruit but only one thing caused them to be lost… God was far from their reins. With that being said, I reckon it’s pretty important to have God in our reins. Wait… what does it mean to have God in our reigns. The word rein means kidney. It is also a figuratively means the mind. These folks didn’t have God continually upon their minds and eventually left the safety of the church.

  24. 15 And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.

We must learn the way of the Lord through the Word of God. For obedience is better than sacrifice.

  25. Jeremiah 12
Time for us to take a stand and be what God has called us to be. We cannot look at what anyone else is doing but we must set our face towards God and continue . Jeremiah was complaining about the prosperity of the wicked . Reminds when David also complained until he seen their end was destruction.
God then rebukes Jeremiah for his impatience . We must continue walk and not tire out. Yes LIFE happens daily and we mentally, emotionally and physically find our self in distress from time to time. Oh but there is so much provision for us and God shows me daily in His word if I just keep on keeping on U will find strength I never knew existed in my life.
God is preparing us for what is to come . If we cannot walk now how will we keep up with someone in a horse . Strengthening us daily . We must set our eyes in Him and no one and nothing else must detour us .
Verse 16 And it shall come to pass if they will diligently learn the ways of my people . Daddy use to say pure and simple religion . Just obey the Word of God , read it , pray it and live minute by minute which turns into hour by hour and day by day. Pure and simple .

    Jeremiah 12 Amplified Version
    You, O Lord are [uncompromisingly] righteous and consistently just when I plead my case with You;
Yet let me discuss issues of justice with You:
Why has the way of the wicked prospered?
Why are those who deal in treachery (deceit) at ease and thriving?
    2
    You have planted them, they have also taken root;
They grow, they have even produced fruit.
You are [a]honored by their [hypocritical] lips
But [You are] far from their heart and mind.
    3
    But You, O Lord, know me [and understand my devotion to You];
    You see me;
And You examine the attitude of my heart toward You.
Drag out the faithless like sheep for the slaughter [O Lord]
And set them apart for the day of slaughter.
    4
How long must the land mourn
And the grass of the countryside wither?
Because of the wickedness and hypocrisy of those who live in it,
The beasts and the birds are consumed and are swept away [by the drought],
Because men [mocking me] have said, “He will not [live long enough to] see [what happens at] our final end.”
    5
[The Lord rebukes Jeremiah for his impatience, saying] “If you have raced with men on foot and they have tired you out,
Then how can you compete with horses?
If you fall down in a land of peace [where you feel secure],
Then how will you do [among the lions] in the [flooded] thicket beside the Jordan?

  26. AMP – 14 Thus says the Lord regarding all My evil neighbors (Gentile nations) who strike at the inheritance which I have granted to My people Israel, “Behold, I will uproot them from their land and I will uproot the house of Judah from among them. 15 And it shall come about that after I have uprooted them, I will return and have compassion on them; and I will bring them back again, each one to his inheritance and each one to his land. 16 And if these [neighboring nations] will diligently learn the ways of My people, to swear by My Name, saying, ‘As the Lord lives’—even as they taught My people to swear by Baal, then they will be built up among My people. 17 But if [any nation] will not listen and obey, I will [completely] uproot and destroy that nation, says the Lord.”

Grafted into the vine – Here we see the opportunity that we Gentiles were given to be born again, become a Child of God. We know Israel is His chosen people, and because of their disobedience, He turned to Gentiles. It is up to us whether or not we become part of the holy, separated people, keeping His commandments, and living for Him.

Obedience to the word of God is not an option, it’s a must. We cannot be as described in verse 2

    2 You have planted them, they have also taken root;
They grow, they have even produced fruit.
You are [a]honored by their [hypocritical] lips
But [You are] far from their heart and mind.

We cannot provide lip service to God and become part of the Bride of Christ. It’s all or nothing – it’s our choice to make.

    Matthew 22:37
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

  27. Jeremiah 12:5,6 msg
So Jeremiah, if you’re worn out in this foot race with men, what makes you think you can race against horses? And if you can’t keep your wits during times of calm, what’s going to happen when troubles break loose like the Jordanian flood? Those closest to you, your own brothers and cousins, are working against you. They’re out to get you. They’re out to get you. They’ll stop at nothing. Don’t trust them, especially when they’re smiling.

I Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

Proverbs 24:10 If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

    Trust in Lord and obey

  28. 14 Thus saith the Lord against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them.

People don’t understand why we are always in conflict in the Middle East this right here is the answer!!!! Everyone that have take Israel’s inheritance away will finish giving it back!!!! For it is not theirs to begin with. Aren’t you happy that when God gives you something HE WILL NEVER TAKE IT AWAY UNLESS HE IS GOING TO GIVE YOU SOMETHING BETTER!!! We are grafted into that inheritance by knowing that The Lord Lives!!! HIS NAME IS JESUS!!! By His baptism we are part of that inheritance!!!

  29. And if these nations truly learn the ways of my people, and if they learn to swear by my name, saying, ‘As surely as the Lord lives’ (just as they taught my people to swear by the name of Baal), then they will be given a place among my people. But any nation who refuses to obey me will be uprooted and destroyed. I, the Lord, have spoken!”
    Jeremiah 12:16‭-‬17 NLT

There’s always a chance for redemption. There is always grace; but we have to make the choice to repent. We have to take the step of humility and realize we cannot be without God.

  30. 16 And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The Lord liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.
17 But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the Lord.

Even though God plans judgment he gives the chance to turn back to him. No matter how far they have strayed away, they have a clear invitation to come back home to Him.

  31. 16 And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The Lord liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.

The heathen nations are given an opportunity to swear by the God of Judah. God is no respecter of persons. If people of any race or creed sincerely seek after the true God, he will hear and accept them.

  32. “But afterward I will return and have compassion on all of them. I will bring them home to their own lands again, each nation to its own possession.”
    ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭12:15‬ ‭NLT‬‬

So many times we may stop when God disciplines us, never seeing the compassion God has in uprooting us. He has our best interest in mind. We may not understand it but we have to work to trust that God is in control.

  33. Jeremiah 12

““If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, Then how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, In which you trusted, they wearied you, Then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?”
    ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭12:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Lord, prepare me and allow me to be ready for what’s to come.

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”
    ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:9-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

  34. 17 But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the Lord.

We must be obedient to the Lord and His word even when we don’t know how something may turn out, God always has us in His hands just trust and obey.

  35. 10 Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.

Not everyone that says they are Lord’s servant, is here to be helpful. The Bible tells us to try the spirits to see if they are of God. When you build a close relationship with God, you will know when something is not of God. We have the power as the children of God to go against everything of the enemy.

  36. Jeremiah 12

16 And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The Lord liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.

God plans judgment but when you repent you can be given a chance to do right.
Thank you Jesus for this day.

  37. 14 Thus saith the Lord against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them.

We must always be doing the good, and not mess around with evil. God has consequences and a plan for the evil dewars so we should scoot aside and let that be. I pray tonight that you are following the voice of the Lord at all times for He has the plan for your life!!!

  38. “But as for me, Lord, you know my heart. You see me and test my thoughts. Drag these people away like sheep to be butchered! Set them aside to be slaughtered!”
    ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭12:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God is our creator, he knows our every move and our every thought. There is nothing you can hide from the Lord, it is best to be fully honest with him and let him know you are worthy of his trust. I pray that we seek God daily and ask him to cleanse you of any evil in you that may appear. Living a life that is fully for the Lord is the best decision you can make!

Repent and turn to the Lord for there is hope for you. All God wants is for people to obey him and follow his commands. His promise is that he will be their God.

  40. “My people have planted wheat but are harvesting thorns. They have worn themselves out, but it has done them no good. They will harvest a crop of shame because of the fierce anger of the Lord.””
    ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭12:13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Whenever you plant a seed you can have all the tools for it to grow but if you don’t have the water or sunlight it’s not going to grow no matter how hard you try. In order for a plant to grow it needs water. When we are in gods kingdom trying to plant seeds if we are not being watered by god the planted seed will not grow. This is why we must have that relationship with god because he can pour into us and he’ll the seed grow. We can’t do it on our own no matter how hard we try. We need Jesus in order to grow.

  41. ““If racing against mere men makes you tired, how will you race against horses? If you stumble and fall on open ground, what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan?”
    ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭12:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Sometimes walking with Gif and growing your relationship means running full speed ahead and ready to hit the deck with whatever is called of you. However, other times it means slowing down and admiring his work or taking a minute to be taught and learning whatever God has for us in the moment.

  42. 15 And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.

16 And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The Lord liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.

The enemy comes to kill , steal and distroy. God allows us to make our own choices but most of all he teaches us to make the right choices even though it’s not what we desire to do. Our flesh is weak but we shouldn’t allow wickedness overtake us. It’s out choice to trust in God and not allow the enemy crawl in our lives.

  43. 10 Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.
11 They have made it desolate, and being desolate it mourneth unto me; the whole land is made desolate, because no man layeth it to heart.

So many men call themselves “pastors”, yet they lay waste the souls who feel the draw to Jesus, but are unclear as to where to go to find JESUS. Churches all over teach a form of godliness, but they deny the power of God. They lie and say that miracles were for them back then, and same with tongues.
We that have the truth, it is our privilege to show others who Jesus really is. They might be hurt, or running, but they / we still need Jesus.

  44. 16 And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The Lord liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.
17 But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the Lord.

“But if they will not obey, . . .”

“But if they will not obey, . . .”

“But if they will not obey, . . .”

If we don’t obey there are consequences, just as their our for our little children. I tell this to my own children all the time. If you don’t follow the rules you have to pay the price. But for some reason, once we become adults we don’t think the same principles apply. Yet it clearly states here that if we do not obey then, “. . . I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the Lord. . .”

  45. 2 Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit: thou art near in their mouth, and far from their reins.

If Jesus is the true vine and gardener then the roots must be righteous and the fruit that blossoms. However, the people have strayed from the Lord and rejected His vine being “Near in their mouth and far from their reins”. Words are not complete without action and saying one thing and doing another is a hypocrite. Cutting themself off from the root supply will cause malnutrition as sin separates us from God.

That’s were the Gardener comes in and prunes the dead ends like from an olive tree so that a new limb may grow (John 15:1-6). We are so blessed to be grafted in by the salvation offered by Jesus. We cannot think ourselves too highly for taking place of other withered limbs. It’s not the Will of the Gardener that any limb/person perish without salvation but have everlasting life. If we understand that then we’ll see how much we need the roots but the roots don’t need us. He loves us and wants us to willingly repent and flourish to bear fruit of the Spirit.

  46. “Righteous art thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?”
    ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭12:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    Are they happy?

When I see my family members not living for GOD, they pretend to be happy as if all is well. In reality there is an emptiness in them a void that only Jesus can fulfill. He can bring them joy, comfort, healing, and guidance.

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭14:6‬ ‭KJV
