Ezra 1

Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,

Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The Lord God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the Lord God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.

And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.

Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem.

And all they that were about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all that was willingly offered.

Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods;

Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.

And this is the number of them: thirty chargers of gold, a thousand chargers of silver, nine and twenty knives,

10 Thirty basons of gold, silver basons of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand.

11 All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.

  1. 1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,

2 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The Lord God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

    Greater Stirring
GOD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus enough for him to build GOD a house in Judah. I can see GOD stirring our spirit to lead us to do something that help us grow our relationship with Him and do many great things for His Kingdom.
    Hallelujah!
    Thank You JESUS!

  2. 2 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The Lord God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

Seventy years of exile have past anf perhaps a hundred years earlier Isaiah prophesied of the rebuilding of the temple. The Lord moved the heart of Cyrus and what sets him apart is not that God moved his heart but that his heart was responsive to the Lord. The Lord shows us that he can make a way when there seems to be no way.

  3. 9 And this is the number of them: thirty chargers of gold, a thousand chargers of silver, nine and twenty knives,

Notice the beginning of verse 9. If God cares for such details, how much more does He care for His people ( for me and you)!

  4. In verse 1 AMP it says “Now in the [a]first year of [b]Cyrus king of Persia [that is, the first year he ruled Babylon], in order to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah [the prophet], the Lord stirred up (put in motion) the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he sent a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying:” and also verse 5 AMP “Then the heads of the fathers’ households of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites, all those whose spirits God had stirred up, [d]arose to go up and rebuild the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem.” When was the last time God prodded/stirred your spirit (given you a sense of urgency, encouragement, motivated, influenced or moved on your heart) to do something? Did you do it? This reminds me of the Spirit of God within us as 2 Timothy 1:5-7 ERV says “I remember your true faith. That kind of faith first belonged to your grandmother Lois and to your mother Eunice. I know you now have that same faith. That is why I want you to remember the gift God gave you. God gave you that gift when I laid my hands on you. Now I want you to use that gift and let it grow more and more, like a small flame grows into a fire. The Spirit God gave us does not make us afraid. His Spirit is a source of power and love and self-control.”

  5. Then God stirred the hearts of the priests and Levites and the leaders of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin to go to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple of the Lord.
    Ezra 1:5 NLT

I pray that the Lord stirs the hearts of individuals of those that are truly desiring his will, to build his Temple by reaching more people. While some things don’t need an emotion to follow or be appointed in, it is a wonderful feeling when God stirs our hearts with a deep rooted passion for something. Whenever our heart and passion is involved in something, our efforts have more meaning to them. The beautiful thing is that we can pray that this same Spirit stirs our hearts for whatever the will of God is for this time.

  6. 7. Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods;

    8. Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.

Cyrus, king of Persia, brought vessels to the house of the Lord, but used Mithredath to do it.
JESUS, King of Kings, is bringing vessels (people) into His house, and He is wanting to use us to do it.

  7. I love POFW LIVE JESUS GIVE JESUS2 GREATER! We must seek God and pray hard so we don’t miss anything he ask us to do!

  8. Ezra‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭NLT
“Wherever this Jewish remnant is found, let their neighbors contribute toward their expenses by giving them silver and gold, supplies for the journey, and livestock, as well as a voluntary offering for the Temple of God in Jerusalem.”

When God puts in our heart to do something. He will always provide the means to do it. We just have to trust in Him and have no fear.
    ‭‭‬‬

  9. Ezra 1-11 ( amp) All the vessels of gold and of silver were 5,400 . All these Sheshbazzar [ the governor ] brought with the people of the captivity from Babylon to Jerusalem.
Pofw we are to take back what the enemy has stolen from us.
Always remember that God cares and loves everyone and he will restore.
    Come back and be restored.
Praise God for You are so Good to Everyone.

  10. “And all their neighbors assisted by giving them articles of silver and gold, supplies for the journey, and livestock. They gave them many valuable gifts in addition to all the voluntary offerings.”
    ‭‭Ezra‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Greater! God not only restored what was taken but gave Israel greater for the journey. Thank You Jesus for your faithfulness to see us through. Thank You Jesus for the prosperity of Your people!

  11. 1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing,

The Word of the Lord (the Bible) came by the mouth of our Pastor to fulfill the Vision of the Lord that was given to him, to stir up the Spirits of His people and to build up the church to have a Greater Revival by bringing in lost souls to be saved. We don’t need things as in gold or silver, we need hearts that are burdened for the people of our city, state and nation. We must lead the way to Victory. Victory in Jesus.

  12. 6 ERV All of their neighbors gave them many things
They gave them, silver, gold, animals and other expensive things, their neighbors freely gave them all these things.

    Hallelujah 🙌
    God mercy is everlasting..
God stirring Cyrus spirit to bri g about Gods will.
And it’s happening, when God starts something he finishes it. He is in the process from beginning to end.
He not only had mercy on this king( it’s the way I look at it) but he also extended it and with His favor even the neighbors cooperate, and helped .
    Hallelujah.
The king responded to what he knew it was Gods desire.( will).
Hallelujah, yes it has been great, but it can also be 👉🏼Greater.
Hallelujah, blessed be the name of the Lord.

  13. 5-6 NLT “Then God stirred the hearts of the priests and Levites and the leaders of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin to go to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple of the Lord. And all their neighbors assisted by giving them articles of silver and gold, supplies for the journey, and livestock. They gave them many valuable gifts in addition to all the voluntary offerings.”
‭‭When GOD stirs your heart to do something, He will provide all that is needed to accomplish your task.

  14. The Kingdom of God is GREATER
WOW! God spoke and the pagan king heard His Voice! After 70 years of captivity, the people of God are going to be released to return to Israel and rebuild the temple. Not only that, but the king is restoring that which was lost and encouraging others to give unto the work. This is great!

  15. “In the first year of King Cyrus of Persia, the Lord fulfilled the prophecy he had given through Jeremiah. He stirred the heart of Cyrus to put this proclamation in writing and to send it throughout his kingdom: “This is what King Cyrus of Persia says: “The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth. He has appointed me to build him a Temple at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.”
    ‭‭Ezra‬ ‭1:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God will use anyone he wants in any situation. Just to help with someone’s faith today I wanna share a testimony. I was brand new married and money was tight. We’re trying to move into a bigger apartment and the bills wasn’t slowing down. I was getting overwhelmed and frustrated. It was a Sunday night service and the man of God says I feel a spirit of giving in this place. I felt the Lord press on my heart and say give him everything. I said all I gots $20 till Friday Lord. He says yeah so what’s that gonna do for ya….I said you’re right. I pulled out all my money from my wallet and gave it all. Well Monday passes, Tuesday passes, I get to work running on gas fumes on Wednesday and a worker from a separate warehouse is sent over to our warehouse. He kept staring at me all morning then he disappeared for about an hour. He was the group lead, he comes back and says “Jack case come here” he pulled me to the side and says “I HAVE to give you this, I’m getting torn left and right, God wants me to give you this and wants me to tell you that whatever it is your going through it’s a test of humility” he handed me an envelope and says here.

I walked up stairs and it was $1000
Jesus tested my faith and I was obedient but I say all that to tell you that GOD CAN USE ANYBODY

  16. 5 Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem.
6 And all they that were about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all that was willingly offered.

God stirred their hearts and they obeyed and he still stirs people today to things for his kingdom. As a result we have Sunday school teachers, Bible study teachers, singers, musicians and so much more. Whether he draws you clean, mow or do any task for him, he knows our abilities and provides us the chance to use them for the kingdom.

  17. Ezra 1:5
Then God stirred the hearts of the priests and Levites and the leaders of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin to go to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple of the Lord.

There needs to be a stirring in us to reach for the lost and let them know Jesus loves them and he always welcomes them to the house of Lord with open arms.
    Greater outreach
    Greater stirring

  18. Ezra 1:2-4 Voice
[2] Cyrus’ Proclamation: The Eternal One, the God of heaven, has decided to give me all the kingdoms of the world to rule as my own. In return for this, He has told me to build Him a new house in Jerusalem of Judah. [3] Any of His people living in my empire may return to Jerusalem of Judah with the help of the Eternal God. There you may rebuild the temple of the Eternal, Israel’s God, with my resources and blessing, because He is the God who lives in Jerusalem. [4] Every Jew who lives here or in any other part of my empire and wishes to return to Jerusalem should be supported by his neighbors. They should give him silver, gold, goods, and cattle for his journey and should send a freewill offering to the True God’s temple in Jerusalem.

Sadly, only a small percentage decided to return from exile; but those who did needed the encouragement to know they were making a valuable contribution to God’s work. In passages such as Isaiah 10:22, God promised that a remnant would return from exile – and only a remnant.

  19. GREATER
    TIME TO BUILD HIS CHURCH

3 Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the Lord God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.
4 And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.
5 Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem.

We are positioned in these last days to BUILD the House of the LORD. JESUS chose our generation to BUILD HIS CHURCH. I am not referring to another building, but HIS CHURCH The BODY of CHRIST.

I feel the SPIRIT of the LORD asking today:

    “Who is there among you?”

    HE makes this promise:

    “GOD be with HIM!”

    The people responded:

“Then Rose UP all them to GO UP and BUILD!”

The New Testament CHURCH is a type of Jerusalem and we are saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost for such a time as this.

Let us GO UP and Build.

  20. 3 Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the Lord God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.

HE IS THE SAME GOD THAT WE SERVE HERE IN THE COUNTRY OF THE TEXAS AND IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH!!! WE ARE THE AFAR OFF!!! We are in The BIBLE!!! HALELUJAH!!!

  21. “Then everyone God had stirred up got ready to go. They wanted to go up to Jerusalem and build the Lord’s temple there. They included the family leaders of Judah and Benjamin. They also included the priests and Levites.”
    ‭‭Ezra‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭NIRV‬‬
Lord stir us …. then let’s go and watch God do Greater! We have souls to win.

  22. 4 And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.

The people already had learned the law of giving their 10% to the priest. Here they are told to help with silver, gold, and good, with their beasts, beside the freewill offering to bless the building of the house of the Lord.

Tithing was meant to support the priesthood, but the extras being given here, coupled with the offerings given were to building up and support the house of the Lord.

Too many people have the mentality that they only need to tithe to be right in the sight of God, however this would lead us to believe that offerings are necessary, as well as those gifts that God moves on your heart to give during special needs offerings.

It is true, the more you give to God the more He will give back to you, press down, shaken together, and running over shall He cause men to give unto you. If you are not receiving that type of blessing, you might want to check your giving. Don’t be stingy with what God has blessed you with.

  23. Ezra 1:3 Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the Lord God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem. And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with the beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.

He is the God…..Psalm 83:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

Isaiah 10:20 And he shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and truth.

And whosoever remaineth…….Not only did they return to Jerusalem but to the Lord.

  24. Ezra 1:2-4 (NLT)
    2) This is what King Cyrus of Persia says: The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth. He has appointed me to build him a Temple at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
    3) Any of you who are his people may go to Jerusalem in Judah to rebuild the Temple of the LORD, the God of Israel, who lives in Jerusalem. And may your God be with you!
    4) Wherever this Jewish remnant is found, let their neighbors contribute toward their expenses by giving them silver and gold, supplies for the journey, and livestock, as well as a voluntary offering for the Temple of God in Jerusalem.

WOW. Our God is GREAT and GREATLY to be Praised!
When we GO in Unity to Rebuild the Temple of the LORD, the church, to be GREATER, God Will Be With Us, and He Will Supply the finances we need through others – neighbors, family, friends, etc… for the journey.

    Unity GREATER
    Rebuilding GREATER
    Finances GREATER
    GOD IS WITH US!!

  25. 1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
2 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The Lord God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
3 Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the Lord God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.

    a. Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia: God gave the Persian king a sense of urgency about this, and the relief from exile was granted the very first year of his reign as the LORD stirred up his spirit.
    i. Cyrus made a decree giving the Jewish exiles in his empire the right to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple. We are the temple of God.

  26. 5 Then God stirred the hearts of the priests and Levites and the leaders of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin to go to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple of the LORD.

Yes, let your heart be stirred by God. Once stirred, you’ll want to serve in his Kingdom, you’ll want to give and bless others, you’ll want to read the Word, you’ll want to seek God. With a stirred heart, your Spirit is more than willing to serve.

  27. 2 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The Lord God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

When God is ready for something to happen he can stir up a pagan king to build a temple in Jerusalem. He can stir up some Jews to move back to Judah to rebuild. We should not doubt that He can do anything to accomplish His will.

  28. The Living Bible
    vs-5
Then God gave a great desire to the leaders of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin, and to the priests and Levites , to return to Jerusalem at once to rebuild the Temple.
Most of the Babylon chose to stay in the land of their captivity. The exiles had been settled in a district of their own, they lived generally comfortable lives. Prosperity dulled the passion of many of the chosen people for a struggle in the Promised Land. (1:4) Those whose heart God moved did return. The others supported them with gifts.

  29. “Then God stirred the hearts of the priests and Levites and the leaders of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin to go to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple of the Lord.”
‭‭ And all their neighbors assisted by giving them articles of silver and gold, supplies for the journey, and livestock. They gave them many valuable gifts in addition to all the voluntary offerings.”
    ‭‭Ezra‬ ‭1:5-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Its time for us to jump on the bandwagon of reaching those lost souls. We as leaders cannot be dragging our feet. It’s time to light a fire and listen to the voice of the lord. When he says go we need to go. There is greater harvest out there! Greater greater greater! But we have to light a fire in us because we are going to miss out out gods blessings if we don’t.

  30. “Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem. And all they that were about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all that was willingly offered.”
    ‭‭Ezra‬ ‭1:5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    Hallelujah!!!!

The Spirit of GOD, raised us up to continue to build His Kingdom alone. I am believing that REVIVAL is in the air. GREATER than anything else in this world.

    What do you see?
    What will you speak?

One soul at a time , than so be it! But if it is like the day of Pentecost…Hallelujah either way!!!!

    Revival is here!
    Revival is NOW!
    GREATER 2022!

“The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, and caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: and I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, and shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.”
    ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭37:1-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  31. 3 Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the Lord God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.

“who is there among you of all his people?” Who are you hanging out with? The people you hang around; you will either influence, or they will influence you. It is very important who you spend your time around. There is an army rising up, be apart of it!

  32. 5 Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem.

God is speaking to His people if we will listen. He wants to use us if we are willing! Be ready and make yourself available!

  33. 5 Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem.

Building the house of the Lord is not simply just a physical building, it can also be with souls!

Let’s get busy building His Kingdom!

  34. “In all, there were 5,400 articles of gold and silver. Sheshbazzar brought all of these along when the exiles went from Babylon to Jerusalem.”
    ‭‭Ezra‬ ‭1:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Stay faithful my friends. Even in pagan lands stay faithful. It will be hard to sustain your faith and fight temptation. But it will come out.

One day will come, and you will be able to walk out the front gates of that pagan land. And they will pay you for your troubles.

  35. Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods

  36. All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.
    Ezra 1:11 KJV

God noticed and takes account. Just like these vessels were taken inventory of so should we with our spiritual lives and our lives in general. Where are we? And what are we doing with our lives, time talent and treasures.

  37. Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.

I learned that he Barong the treasure and numbered them.

  38. 1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,

“ the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia” another version says “ the Lord stirred the heart of Cyrus king of Persia”

You know God has a funny way of getting things done. Even if it means touching the heart of those in power.

I pray that God would open a door for POFW by touching the heart of someone in power, that we may have a unrestrained revival in this region. A revival that would flood our church and other Apostolic churches with a mighty harvest. A harvest that would cause the church to be filled with not just guest but people that will gather in and plant themselves deeply within the Kingdom. Fulfilling His will in this last revival

  39. 5 Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem.

When building something for the Lord, you have to do it right. We cannot do things the way we want, we must do what God wants. He will always show us the way.

  40. 5 Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem.

He raises us up to go build and gather the people. He has descended us to do His will! I pray and hope tonight that we are doing all it takes to succeed in the given tasks from Him! All we should want to do is make Him happy!!!

  41. “Then God stirred the hearts of the priests and Levites and the leaders of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin to go to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple of the Lord.”
    ‭‭Ezra‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God has his trust in us. He brought us here cause he believed in us, he knew that he could bring us here and spread his good news. We all have a story of what God has saved us from, and we never know what others in this world could be facing maybe it could be exactly what you have gone through. Show them that we serve a God who forgives and renews, let them know that even though you do face troubled times God will always be the strength and his word is the best light in the darkest moments in life. I pray tonight that you show God no matter what how greatful you are of him, give him all your praises for he’s worthy of it all!

  42. 1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
2 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The Lord God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

We need to pray church! Pray! “. . . the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, . . .” Somebody pray that this same attitude come across the leaders of our country!! Who says it can’t happen?!?!?? I believe in a GREAT GOD!! I believe in a GREATE GOD that does GREAT things!! I believe in GREATER!!

  43. Greater
    Free will offering
We know that God has made a way for many who have made commitments to His work to give beyond their apparent potential. We have a scriptural promise that if we will seek first the kingdom of God, all these other “ things shall be added “ to us ( Luke 12: 31)
We just have to be willing to believe the Lord and prove Him.
