Matthew 1

The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;

And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;

And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;

And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;

And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;

And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;

And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;

10 And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;

11 And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:

12 And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;

13 And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;

14 And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;

15 And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;

16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.

  1. 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

    The birth of Jesus is revealed as Emmanuel. The significance of the meaning of Emmanuel is to show us that God reached down to save mankind. God with us is how Emmanuel is described, which gives credence to our creation of being made in God’s image, and the miraculous intermingling of the devine and human. God was robed in flesh to guide, comfort, and deliver us. Mathew writes this Gospel to help an unbeliever to understand that Jesus fulfilled prophecy.

  2. 22. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, JKV

    22. All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet: NLT

    Once God gives a word through His prophet, count on it – He will move Heaven and Earth to make it happen.

  3. Joseph, to whom she was engaged, was a righteous man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly. As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit.
    Matthew 1:19‭-‬20 NLT
    And Joseph named him Jesus.
    Matthew 1:25 NLT

    We learn all throughout the Old testament what each man did for God and the Pinnacle steps that he took, then in the four Gospels it puts emphasis on the life of Jesus and his mother mary, we don’t hear very much about Joseph except that he was married to his mother. What is interesting though is that Joseph was commanded by the angel to stay with Mary and help raise Jesus. He was going to have her put away privately due to her pregnancy but he was called to name and raise Jesus just as much as Mary was called to have him. Everything that God has called us to do plays a part of a bigger puzzle that is joined together with others calling. No matter how small we may think what we’re doing is, it’s going to represent so much more later on

  4. Verse 20 NLT starts with “As he considered this….”. Same verse beginning KJV “But while he thought on these things…”. Joseph considered and thought upon what was before him before he reacted to it. Our Proverb for today says in verse 32 AMP “When I saw, I considered it well; I looked and received instruction.” Same verse MSG “I took a long look and pondered what I saw; the fields preached me a sermon and I listened:”. Same verse ESV “Then I saw and considered it; I looked and received instruction.” Just like the concept of Stop, Drop and Roll so you won’t burn, we have to Stop, Drop to our knees and wait for His instruction before we roll out with our own agenda/response. Be GREATER.

  5. All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet: “Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’”
    Matthew 1:22‭-‬23 NLT

    https://bible.com/bible/116/mat.1.22-23.NLT

    I’m curious how Joseph and Mary felt raising Jesus. I’m sure Joseph pondered many a time on what the angel had told him, “that their son would have the people from their sins”. Watching Jesus grow from babe, to young boy, to a man, curious when this promise would be fulfilled.
    Likewise with us we may have had promises spoken or dreams giving to us from God and wondering when these things will be fulfilled.
    Trust God’s timing! He knows what He’s doing! He is a trustworthy and faithful God!

  6. 17All those listed above include fourteen generations from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the Babylonian exile, and fourteen from the Babylonian exile to the Messiah.

    Wouldn’t it be great if we could have generations of men/women of God. Most of us don’t have this. But it can start with you. You can be the beginning of genealogy to serve God. Pass this on to your children. You can’t see far into the future, but you’ll have the comfort knowing you passed your serving of God on.

  7. “The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    Hallelujah Jesus!

    Reading the generations that leads to Jesus Christ, the Messiah. You see that in past generations the sins such as murder, deceit, prostitution, etc.
    Until the ultimate sacrifice for all sinners was born.
    The plan of GOD for humanity from the beginning is perfect! The enemy thought that he had won every single time humanity fell into sin, but, GOD said different. He looked beyond our faults. He again extended His mercy, grace, and love for you and I.

    “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭15:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  8. Matthew 1:21
    And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”

    Jesus is the Savior of the whole world. He is merciful and forgives and saves people from their sins. Thank you Jesus

  9. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.
    20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
    24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

    Joseph had a choice to make, listen to the angel of the Lord or not. GOD will never lead us down the wrong path. Prophecies were fulfilled.

  10. 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

    One of the first things i use to use witnessing about Jesus.
    I cant tel you how many co workers Jesus used me to help see who he really is. I’m not boasting but this scripture is one of the BIG ones to help someone with revelation. God is just looking for someone to reach his people. Someone to share his word and share the power in his name. Lets be those people that reach them.

  11. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream saying
    Joseph thou son of David, fear not to take unto the Mary thy wife for that which it’s conceived in her is of the Homy Ghost.
    ——-
    👉🏼 Fear not.( the angel said)
    I committed it to you Lord.
    I committed it to you.
    I will wait, and I will see the salvation of the Lord.
    In Jesus name.
    🙏Fear not.

  12. The Kingdom of God is GREATER
    25 but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus.

    I reckon today would be great day for breaking the ice…This scripture is interesting for the fact that it gives us insight into Catholic false doctrine. One of the major tenets of the Catholic faith is Mary always remained a virgin, even after the birth of Jesus.

    Well…. about that….

    I’m not an English scholar, but I do know what the word “until” means. It simply means Mary was a virgin until Jesus was born… then after Jesus was born…well her and Joseph had kids… Joseph became the father of James and his three brothers (Joses, Simeon, Judah) and two sisters (a Salome and a Mary or a Salome and an Anna) with James being the elder sibling

    Why is this important? Well it’s great conversation! If you have a Catholic friend and you share this revelation with them it will surely put some fire into the conversation. It’s also a great tool to show them the false doctrine they are blinded by.

  13. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

    God selected the right 2 people to raise up Jesus. He knew this could be a hard thing for Joseph, but he knew his heart just like he knew Mary’s. This precious couple submitted to God’s plan regardless of what their friends and family might say and our Savior is born. God has a plan for each of our lives and we must submit and allow the kingdom to grow through what he can do through us.

  14. Matt 1: 24-25 ( amp) Then Joseph being aroused from his sleep,did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him; he took [ her to his side as] his wife.
    (25) But he had no union with her borne her first- born Son,and he called His name Jesus.
    All of this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said to the prophet.
    Joseph had to make a choice to listen to Angel or not to listen!
    If God is for us,Than who can be against us!
    God will never lead you the wrong way.

  15. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

    He sees and knows our very thoughts. Never doubt what you’re going through isn’t part of His plan. Just like the message we heard last night, some of us still have a Pharoah to face, but in time even he’ll be used for our victory and for God’s glory! Fear not, because what’s becoming of you is of the Holy Ghost if we will allow God to have His way and bring forth greater in our lives!

  16. I love POFW LIVE JESUS GIVE JESUS2 GREATER! I love this story about the Virgin Mary. I can’t even imagine how Joseph felt and much more how Mary felt . The best part is they obeyed God and the divine plan unfolded. Praise to God how marvelous he is.

  17. 17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

    GOD hasn’t and will not forget about the petitions, tears and sacrifices that past generations have poured out so that we could come to the knowledge and love of CHRIST!!! Every generation was mentioned not one did HE forget!!!

    Those prayers of my grandmother still resonate here in my mind and surely in my spirit cause I can feel the 🔥!!! My grandma was burning inside for JESUS and I know it WAS AND IS JESUS that allows all things to be manifest, doesn’t mean it’s HIS will. But i pray HIS will be done!!! ALL GOOD THINGS COME FROM MY DADDY !!! She told me when I was a babe in CHRIST don’t ever let your fire burn out!!! I didn’t understand it then and I thought I knew what it meant but I really didn’t have a clue until 2/18/22!!! When my fireplace is what is standing tall and intact…..!!! IGOT IT!!! I GOT IT JESUS!!! MAY THE FIRE OF MY ALTAR NEVER BURN OUT!!! HALELUJAH!!! I GOT IT JESUS!!! I GOT IT!!! I WAS COMPLACENT!!! I GOT IT JESUS!!! I GOT IT!!! ALMOST TOOK EVERYTHING I HAD !!! IN REALITY I HAVE IT ALL AND THEN SOME!!! I GOT A SECOND CHANCE TO SERVE MY DADDY!!! WITH MY WHOLE BEING!!! MATERIAL THINGS…. NAH !!! HALELUJAH MY SALVATION I GOT A SECOND CHANCE CAUSE I WOULD’VE WENT STRAIGHT TO HELL!!! AWAY WITH IT!!! AWAY WITH IT DADDY!!! MY HEART IS YOURS AND YOURS ALONE JESUS!!!

    • 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoke

      As Mathew recorded these events he realized that a new era had dawned in the history of God’s dealings with the human race. The words of a messianic prophecy, long-dormant had now sprung to life. Isaiah’s cryptic prophecy was now fulfilled in Mary’s child: so all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet. Matthew claims divine inspiration for the wound of Isaiah the Lord had spoken by the prophet at least 700 years before Christ. The prophecy of Isaiah 7:14 included the foretelling of a unique birth (“ Behold, the virgin shall conceive”)

      A.L.M.A.S.

  18. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

    If it had not been for Jesus dying on Calvary my life would be a big mess with no return. But thank you Jesus for taking my place on Calvary that through you I can have forgiveness of sin. Where would I be if it had not been for Jesus seeking a refuge for my soul to save me in the end.

  19. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

    20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

    Mary and Joseph were engaged. Joseph was thinking of breaking up with Mary until he had a dream. The angel of the Lord said don’t be afraid to marry her. The Great Creator came to this earth to become our savior.

  20. 7 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

    God is not shaken up by what happens on a daily basis. He has a plan. He has always had a plan. We see here that it was 42 generations from Abraham to Joseph – the earthly father of Jesus. God had it planned out down to the 42nd generation of how a Savior would come to this world, and who his earthly parents would be.

    Why do we think God doesn’t know where we are? What we are going through? He sees it all. He knows it all, and we must trust that even when we can’t see it, He is working on our behalf.

  21. Matthew 1:1 is the opening verse in the first chapter of the Gospel of Matthew in the New Testament of the Christian Bible.

  22. GREATER
    HUMILITY DEFINES GREATNESS

    16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

    The words that challenged my spirit today were “Joseph the husband of Mary”. Meaning that Josephs connection to Mary was his “claim to fame” or involvement in this eternal writ. Who would Joseph be without his connection to Mary, the chosen virgin?

    Joseph teaches a great lesson in humility whereas he is obedient to the plan and mission of GOD even though he is not directly involved in the process.

    This reminds me of our role in HIS church. Our only claim to fame may be that we are the musician at The POFW, the Sunday School teacher at The POFW, the photographer at The POFW, the Bus Driver at The POFW, the Maintaince Team at The POFW. On paper these roles may seem insignifiacant, but eternally they help DEFINE GREATNESS.

    Josephs connection to the birth that was GREATER than any other is that he was the husband of the mother. Josesph fulfilled this role with passion, provision and protection.

    Likewise, our connection to the REVIVAL and HARVEST that is GREATER than anything we have ever seen before at The POFW may be that we clean the windows or vacuum the floor or hand out invitations.

    BUT

    Each of those positions have ETERNAL influence and we should complete each one with passion, provision and protection.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iLive
    iGive
    iReap
    iGo
    iBlessYouInTheNameOfTheLordJESUS

  23. 17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

    18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

    Can any of us go back that far and know who began our family. Who were the Christians, who were the bad guys, how did they believe or live. I think most people are like me, can go back maybe to our greats, some maybe even to our great-great, not many. But reading these words of the generations that came before Joseph who married Mary,who gave birth to Jesus, it makes me wonder about my past generations. I can’t change anything that was, but I can start where I am. I can’t even change my past, it’s done, I have to start today living for God and being an example to my children and grandchildren, and now even to my great grandchild. He is a new slate, it is up to those that have an influnce on him to raise him to know Jesus Christ. Yes, my past is gone and done with, I have repented of my sins, my future belongs to Him, the almighty God, Jesus. I pray that the mistakes (sins) from my past can be changed for good and that future generations can profit and learn from them and can make the Lord their God and live for Him.God only knows, one of them may become a deciple for Him. I pray for salvation for my family and the generations that comes after.

  24. Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

    The miraculous birth of the savior is awesome.

  25. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

    21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

    This where greater came for Mary and Joseph

  26. St. Matthew 1:16 & 20-21 (KJV)
    16) And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born JESUS, who is called Christ.

    20) But while he thought on these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
    21) And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

    As we know, the Old Testament is a foreshadow of things in the New Testament.
    I find it very interesting that Jacob begat Joseph, and an angel appeared to Joseph in a Dream.
    Old Testament – Jacob begat Joseph, and Joseph was a Dreamer. He was taken as a slave into Egypt, where he eventually became a GREAT Leader, and brought his father’s household to Egypt – to Goshen – where he Saved them from famine.
    New Testament – Jacob begat Joseph, and in a Dream an angel appeared unto him. The angel told Joseph to take Mary to be his wife, because she was to have a child and name Him JESUS – For He Shall Save His People From Their Sins!

    GREATER Dreams
    GREATER Salvation

  27. “As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    At times we just have a dream or a word to go on but when it’s from God that’s all you need. My prayer is to hear His voice and to know where He wants me to be. I know He has by best interest.
    “Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭143:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  28. Matthew 1

    17 Thus there were fourteen generations in all from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Messiah.

    God has His plan. He is always in control. With our Bible we can see how things progressed. To have the history to Jesus is awesome. Reading the word of God is wonderful. It IS the greatest book ever written!
    Thank you Jesus for this day.

  29. The Living Bible
    vs-18
    His mother , Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But while she was still a virgin she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
    Joseph must have felt betrayed when Marry was descovered to be pregnant. Joseph being a man was willing to protect her by arranging a private divorce. The comment, ( righteous man) (v. 19) reminds us that righteousness is not stern insistence on the letter of the law, but is well flavored with mercy and compassion.

  30. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

    When Gods will i upon your life you will know it because from one way or another he will let you know.

  31. 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

    God with us! God is still with us today and He will guide every step IF we allow Him to do so!

  32. 25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.

    Many times people will skim over the stories that most people have some clue about, but it is in the details, where we find our revelations

  33. v23 “They shall ‘call
    his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is , God with us.”

    The Holy Ghost – the Spirit of Jesus Christ within believers is the promised Comforter that provides peace regardless of the intensity of our storm or trouble. Although many people may fear the future, COVID ,and the troubles in Ukraine, the child of God need not fear because of his relationship with the One who holds the future.
    God with us ! Amen

  34. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

    Psalm 130:8 8And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
    Great is His love for his people,( for us) he died for us!

  35. 25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.

    And the king was born. We all know the story and beginning of His birth. It is such a magical and amazing story! I pray tonight that we will forever remember this story and apply it to our lives!!!

  36. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

    Jesus is our savior. I’m thankful that he died for our sins that we may life again. God gives us authority over the things in this world. We shall live and not die.

  37. 24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

    Joseph did what the word of the lord said to do even though the word didn’t make any sense he obeyed.
    When God gives us a word no matter we must obey it no matter how crazy it my sound and watch what God will do.

  38. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

    I guess it never occurred to me how much of a gentleman Joseph was. In a time that men were not the same breed as they are today. “. . . being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. . . took unto him his wife: . . . And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son. . .” First Joseph was not going to call out Mary or make her a public spectacle. Then he understood what the angel said and took her side and Sis not leave or turn away. Then he also waited for her until after Jesus was born. Joseph was kind hearted, loving, and a gentleman.

  39. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

    Hallelujah!!
    Thank You JESUS!
    KING OF KINGS!
    APLHA & OMEGA!

  40.  18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

    19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

    Joseph,even though he was probably hurt, had made the decision to protect Mary reputation. Even before he knew how the pregnancy came about.

    How many times have we made a decision to protect the reputation of the one wronged us, before knowing the whole story? What if Joseph decided to tell anyone who would listen just what type of young lady Mary really was. I mean she was supposed to marry Joseph, and now she is with child and it is not Joseph. He would have spread a lie about Mary that would have caused great damage.

    By not doing so Joseph provided a perfect example of how not to let our feelings control our reactions to situations.

  41. Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

    Thankful for a savior name JESUS who was born and died for my sins. Nothing greater than salvation!

  42. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

    21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

    thank you Jesus!!

  43. 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is God with us.

    The God that likes to make the impossible things possible. If man can do it, then it is not God’s work.
    I don’t think he gets offended at our greatest and most difficult prayers.

  44. 6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;

    Even though many generations came and went, GOD IS AN ON TIME GOD!!!

  45. “Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:23‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    Even if you feel like what you’re dealing with cannot be overcome, you have to stop thinking like that. You live for a God who can do the impossible, there is nothing that can stop him from doing it. There is no one greater or stronger! I pray tonight that you have faith in God always, cause he is always with you and will never let you fail he will bless you and help you overcome.

  46. “This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    At times in our lives God likes to place us in situations that will only be HIM to be by only reason our outcome is for the better!

    Don’t allow the chaos to make you believe you are forgotten. It’s during the time of chaos that He works GREATER.

  47. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

    This is a great example of blind faith and believing that whatever the lord says that you should do it, no matter how crazy it may seem or what others think but you should also trust in the lord, because whatever the lord says will come to past no matter what, that’s why whatever he speaks happens like when he made the earth and all of his people.

  48. “She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:21, 23‬ ‭NIV‬‬

    This story shows the true faith in the one true living god. Through all impossibility they kept their faith. As Christian’s we have to realize that when it seems impossible that there is a god above who will step in right on time. Thank you Jesus for all that you do and continue to do in our lives.

    This reminds me of when Jesus told the man who was sick of the palsy that his sins were forgiven. We serve a God who is able to do any thing. He has no limits, He has no guidelines on miracles He can perform. He can and continues to do the impossible.

  50. “This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit.”

  51. 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

    God with us is only applicable when we allow Christ to be the center of all we do. It would be easy to wonder why we don’t see or feel God in situations. We must first examine if we have allowed Jesus to be the center of our lives. WE must first figure out if Jesus is the most important thing. If not then we have the answer… place Him first and watch Him work.
