Acts 2

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

  1. Acts of the Apostles 2:25-26

[25]King David said this about him: ‘I see that the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.
[26]No wonder my heart is glad, and my tongue shouts his praises!  My body rests in hope.

Hallelujah. Jesus is alive and worthy of all our praises

    In Jesus’ Name

    God is fighting for us
    God is on our side
    He has overcome
    Yes He has overcome
    We will not be shaken
    We will not be moved
    Jesus You are here

    Carrying our burdens
    Covering our shame
    He has overcome
    Yes! He has overcome
    We will not be shaken
    We will not be moved
    Jesus You are here

I will live, I will not die
The resurrection power of Christ. Alive in me and I am free. In Jesus’ Name
I will live, I will not die
I will declare and lift You high. Christ revealed and I am healed. In Jesus’ Name, in Jesus’ Name. In Jesus’ Name, in Jesus’ Name

  2. Verse 40 VOICE “Just as God raised Jesus from a decaying body, Peter holds out hope for God to liberate those who follow Him from their decaying culture. 40 Peter was pleading and offering many logical reasons to believe.” We too must hold out hope and continue to testify as God continues to liberate his people. The same verse is captioned in the NKJV “A Vital Church Grows” and says “And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this [a]perverse generation.” To be regional is to be affective; and this church is “Impacting Lives To Change The World”. Be GREATER!

  3. 37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

    Hallelujah!
    Thank You Jesus!
    You Are Faithful!

  4. 6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

To the Jews first then also the Greeks, is the strategy to bring the Gospel to the World. We see here that the conversion of the Jews brought the Gospel to others when they wittnessed in foreign languages. Likewise when the leader of a home is converted, the rest of the household have the opportunity to chose salvation. In turn reviving Americans can be accomplished by wittnessing and converting one city at a time. Outreach may seam slow in results, but it is a proven effective strategy that is required by the scriptures.

  5. 36. Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

    37. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

    38. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

    41. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

If you’re worried about receiving forgiveness; if you think you’ve done too much, just remember: those that had Jesus crucified received forgiveness…believe me, short of blasphemy, your sins can be forgiven, just let them go.

  6. Acts 2:16-17 ( King James ) But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel.
    (17) And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.
We don’t the Day or the Hour this going to happen !
    Signs,Wonders,and Mircles!
You and I must reach as many souls that we can.
Go and share your vision and the Hope and Love of Jesus.
For this is the Day of the Lord, and I will rejoice and be glad in it.
Jesus said for I will pour out my Spirit!

  7. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

I remember the first time I was asked “are you a fire talker?” Bro Morgan and I were taking the youth group to outreach at a jazz festival downtown. We were just approaching other people and speaking to them about our Jesus. This young man came out of no where and tap me in the shoulder and asked “are you a fire talker?” It took me a bit to understand what he was referring to but as soon as I got it I answered YES I AM AND YOU CAN BE TOO!!! He then preceded to ask me very intellectual questions more directed to how you view God through science. He was mormon, we spoke for a lengthy time and debated some views. I gave him some scriptures and he promised to check them out. I always wondered if he did and if it intrigued him enough to search more for the truth. You see that’s how vegan my search, I started reading the Bible and then questioning the priest of our church until I drove him to frustration to which he then told me to stop reading the Bible because I couldn’t interpret it correctly. I then answer what is to be interpreted wrong it says no idols or statutes and we have them all over the church. Yep I got excommunicated 😭 For me it was the beginning of the search for what God wanted in my life. Why was I created? What was His purpose for my life? And what could I do for His Kingdom? Have you ever asked yourself those questions? Once you do life gets turned upside down and it’s no longer comfortable!!! There is NOTHING IN THIS WORLD LIKE THE HOLY GHOST!!!! I AM A FIRE TALKER ARE YOU???

  8. They stood there amazed and perplexed. “What can this mean?” they asked each other. But others in the crowd ridiculed them, saying, “They’re just drunk, that’s all!”
Acts of the Apostles 2:12‭-‬13 NLT

There are some that will be amazed by The works of God and there are some that will refuse to believe while there are others that are just looking for a reason to have hope and to believe there’s something out there. No matter the reaction, our job is to be witnesses of his glory. Some people will draw up conclusions to deny the truth or create a delusion and avoid it all together because when they see the signs of Christ, it makes them uncomfortable and make them face their sin. As we are reading today s scripture some of the men were amazed at what they saw on the day of Pentecost as well as others that were creating excuses saying it was only drunkenness causing them to behave this way, it didn’t stop them from reaching those that saw the same thing and wanted to believe

  9. 47 Praising God and having favour with all the people
And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
The body gets involve in Gods work
The body of Christ Praising and finding out His will
Meanwhile the Lord adding more to the church.
    Meanwhile the Lord softening hearts.

    Lord have mercy.🙏🏼

  10. I love POFW LIVE JESUS GIVE JESUS2 GREATER! What a joy our reading is today. 6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
Signs and wonders and unexplained miracles still happen everyday. Great is our King Jesus!

  11. 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:47‬ ‭NKJV “and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”

  12. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

    44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

If we would just have faith and trust in God, we could be lead by God to do signs and miracles for his kingdom as well. We just have to give ourselves to God and let his will be done through us.

  13. The Living Bible
    vs:2-3
    Visible signs
Suddenly there was a sound like the roaring of a mighty windstorm in the skies above them and it filled the house where they were meeting. Then what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on their heads.

Three phenomenon occurred together that made the coming of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost an unmistakable and unique event (1) the rushing wind,(2) the visible flames resting on each believer present,(3) speaking in other tongues..

  14. 13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

Exactly how the carnal mind works, goes straight to try to “discredit” the move of GOD!!! What is it, disbelief, doubt? It is PRIDE!!! It is what got Lucy evicted!!! Now he tries to stay rent free in our minds, if we allow him to stay this is what happens, we become prideful and cannot see or hear what GOD’S will is for our lives!!!

  15. “King David said this about him: ‘I see that the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭2:25‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I pray this for my path today. I pray I am confident in my God that he is right beside me all the day. My path will not be shaken my heart will be firm. Jesus will keep me steadfast today.

I pray God directs my path to reach someone and teach someone of his goodness.

  16. “King David said this about him: ‘I see that the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭2:25‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I pray that I have the same mindset as David today. I pray that Right beside me is Jesus guiding my steps. Let my feet go to places I’ve never been in the spirit reaching the people around me. Jesus Name Amen!

  17. “King David said this about him: ‘I see that the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. No wonder my heart is glad, and my tongue shouts his praises! My body rests in hope. For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your Holy One to rot in the grave. You have shown me the way of life, and you will fill me with the joy of your presence.’”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭2:25-28‬ ‭NLT‬‬

A great prayer to keep in our hearts. Thank You Jesus for Your assurance! We have hope in Him and should not fear. Thank You Jesus!

  18. “No wonder my heart is glad, and my tongue shouts his praises! My body rests in hope.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭2:26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Praise isn’t determined by our circumstances. Praise is what Jesus is already worthy of. Praise Him in the morning, praise Him in the noon time, whatever the time we should continually praise HIM!

  19. 6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

The Jews of the dispersion had come to Jerusalem for Pentecost from every nation, and they heard those who were filled with the Holy Ghost speaking in their native language. This was not to preach to them. When Peter stood up with the eleven he spoke in a common tongue i.e., Greek, Latin or Aramaic. Tongues are the initial sign or evidence that one has received the Holy Ghost. People will squirm and try to excuse themselves for not receiving it but their excuses will not stand up in judgement. Everyone must have the Holy Ghost and it is not hard to receive if you believe.

  20. 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Gods promises never fail we will see your children come back to serve the Lord. God is a truthful God and cannot lie. It is one of his promises to us.

  21. “A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭2:43‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This was evidence of the power of God. Where God is at work, lives will be touched in miraculous ways.

  22. 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
    16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

Joel 2:28 is fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost and signified that now it was the last days. The last days began then and we know we are at the very end of the church’s day and time. We will see a great endtime harvest because God is wrapping things up and will soon turn back to his people the Jews. We must be ready as a church to receive the great numbers coming, and be ready to mentor and teach the new babes. Thank God for forgiveness, for healing and closing the door of grief over those who have chosen to leave so that we can now be powerful in Spirit and reach our region.

  23. King David said this about him: ‘I see that the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. No wonder my heart is glad, and my tongue shouts his praises! My body rests in hope. For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your Holy One to rot in the grave. You have shown me the way of life, and you will fill me with the joy of your presence.’
Acts of the Apostles 2:25‭-‬28 NLT

What a beautiful promise we have! No fear, only hope and rejoicing in His goodness!

  24. 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

    44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

Going FORWARD – the promise is ours. I’m thankful for the word of God last night, shining the light on issues that need to be resolved so that we can GO FORWARD in victory! The harvest that is experienced in today’s chapter can be experienced by POFW.

  25. Acts 2:28 (VOICE)
“Instead, you direct me on a path that leads to a beautiful life. As I walk with You, the pleasures are never-ending, and I know true joy and contentment.”

As we walk with the Lord and we allow Him to direct our path and lead our life, we will know True Joy and Contentment (Happiness, Peace).

    Thank You JESUS!!

  26. GREATER
    FEAR

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

In todays relevant and on demand society we have unprecedented access to breaking news of evil and sin. With greater than 50% of the worlds population holding a live feed camera to report the evil as it happens, we are bombarded continually with desensitized reports of sin, evil, hate and an overall disrespect and fearless approch to evil.

Many are deceived by the devil from his lies about the LOVE of GOD. Spewing the lie of “if JESUS loves you why is this happening to you” or “do want you desire, GOD loves you the same”. Both of these lies could lie a person to feel entitled to self will and absent of a healthy “FEAR” of the LORD.

In Acts 2 we are privy to the revelation of this attribute. The BIBLE says “fear came upon every soul”.

    But what is FEAR?

    The BIBLE says:

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Do not confuse the spirit of FEAR with the FEAR of the LORD. The 2 words for FEAR have different applications in the Greek language.

    Acts 2
FEAR – 5401. phobos; (to be put in fear); alarm or fright: — be afraid, + exceedingly, fear, terror.

    2Timothy 1
    FEAR – 1167. deilia; from 1169; timidity: — fear.
1169. deilos; (dread); timid, i.e. (by implication) faithless: — fearful.

In Acts 2 the word FEAR means an alarm about who GOD is came over the people, they had an awe and respect for GOD.

In 2Timothy the apostle Paul is writing to his son in the gospel that we are not to walk around afraid of every turn timid about living for JESUS, but live bold and faithful. But we are to FEAR the LORD and HIS judgement.

Understand the terror of the LORD will be released only after judgement.

Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Let GO Forward! Forgive, Love, Serve and FEAR the LORD.

  27. 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
    ***************
Have you ever wondered what language we will speak when we get to heaven?? Neither have I until I was reading this verse and it accrued to me that when speaking in tongues we are speaking with the Holy Ghost, and that when we get to heaven there will be no language barrier. We will all be worshiping the Lord in one accord. We’ll be as one in language, and we will all bow before Him speaking the same. Praising and singing. I don’t know how we will interact with each other, talking, I think we will communicate in some ways. How exciting it will be. We may have opportunities to tell stories of how Jesus came into our lives and did wonderful miracles so that we could be saved. It is endless of what we will be doing, but the main purpose is to be serving Him and having a close relationship with Him, everything else will be a bonus. Hallelujah, Praising the Lord now and when eternity begins.

  28. “And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:46‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The love of Jesus in our hearts will always keep unity within the church. It is His love that people will feel and draw them again and again. And all will be born again of the water and the spirit. No judgment here. Come as you are.

“And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.”
    ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  29. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

This word suddenly is a great word for me today… the thing about it is… just about 5 seconds ago I suddenly had a revelation. The revelation was I forgot to post on the Daily Bible Reading… 🤦‍♂️

  30. 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

The Christian fellowship grew by conversions each day. Those who heard the gospel were responsible to accept Jesus Christ by a definite act of the will.the Lord’s electing and adding does not rule out human responsibility.

    A.L.M.A.S.

  31. ‘all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.’

    Acts of the Apostles 2:47
    https://my.bible.com/bible/116/ACT.2.47

No man comes to the Lord unless hes drawn by the Spirit. I pray we diligently seek the face of God and ask for sensitivity to the Spirit of God. If we set aside our flesh and let God do the God things God is good at then were gonna see a revival bigger and greater than anything weve ever imagined. Use me oh Lord Use ME!

  32. 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

I love when the Holy Ghost sweeps across the house of the Lord and takes over services. There is nothing that can stop it. I thank the Lord for his presence and for always reminding us that he is in control, especially in his house.

  33. Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

I’m standing on His promises, thank you Jesus!

Joel 2:28,32 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shell see visions:
.32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said and in the remnant whom the lord shall call.

Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

    Thank you Jesus!

  34. 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

When we call on the name of Jesus, things begin to happen. We may not always understand, but God is up to something. As the people of God we can do great things through him.

  35. 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance

  36. 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

They were heard. Those filled , were not quietly praying, but were loud and clear, to be heard, and understood.

Why do so many now “pray silently”? Or very softly?

  37. 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Unlike people, Jesus’s promises get kept, because He cannot lie.

  38. 32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

  39. 11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

In the Spirit as they we all being filled ans speaking un other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance as they spake what other were hearing were the wonderful works of God. That served as a sign to the unbelievers. The first thing they heard when the Holy Ghost first fell was, praise and magnifying God speaking the wonderful works of God. This is something that we should continue to do. Go tell the people the wonderful works of God.

  40. He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

  41. “Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:37‬ ‭KJV‬‬

After the people heard the truth that Jesus is both Lord and Christ, God and flesh, the anointed One whom they crucified. This truth generated conviction. It made them ask “What shall we do?”. I pray that we would take courage and be bold. We would preach the truth so that the people would begin to ask, “What shall we do?” And we could point them to Christ.
