Acts 13

Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.

And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.

And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus:

Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.

But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.

Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.

10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.

13 Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.

14 But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.

15 And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.

16 Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give audience.

17 The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.

18 And about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness.

19 And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, he divided their land to them by lot.

20 And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.

21 And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.

22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

24 When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.

25 And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.

26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

27 For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

28 And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.

29 And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.

30 But God raised him from the dead:

31 And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.

32 And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,

33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

35 Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

37 But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

40 Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;

41 Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

43 Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

49 And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.

50 But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.

51 But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.

52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.

  1. 46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

    Hallelujah!
    GOD IS GOOD!
    All The Time!
Salvation available to all to receive!
    Thank You Jesus!

  2. 40. Be careful! Don’t let the prophets’ words apply to you. For they said,

    41. ‘Look, you mockers, be amazed and die! For I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn’t believe even if someone told you about it.’ ” NLT

Don’t let those words apply to you; instead, believe and receive the prophecies being spoken over us!

I see a revival and harvest building that is GREATER than anything I have ever seen, coming to the POFW!

  3. Verses 2-5 VOICE “Once they were engaged in a time of worship and fasting when the Holy Spirit spoke to them, “Commission Barnabas and Saul to a project I have called them to accomplish.” They fasted and prayed some more, laid their hands on the two selected men, and sent them off on their new mission. Having received special commissioning by the Holy Spirit, Barnabas and Saul went to nearby Seleucia on the coast. Then they caught a ship to the island of Cyprus. At the city of Salamis on the east side of Cyprus, they proclaimed the message of God in Jewish synagogues, assisted by John Mark.” Same verses MSG “One day as they were worshiping God—they were also fasting as they waited for guidance—the Holy Spirit spoke: “Take Barnabas and Saul and commission them for the work I have called them to do.” So they commissioned them. In that circle of intensity and obedience, of fasting and praying, they laid hands on their heads and sent them off. Sent off on their new assignment by the Holy Spirit, Barnabas and Saul went down to Seleucia and caught a ship for Cyprus. The first thing they did when they put in at Salamis was preach God’s Word in the Jewish meeting places. They had John along to help out as needed.” Engaging yourself in worship and fasting as you wait for guidance is key before going off on your own trying to accomplish something. Ephesians 4:30 MSG says “Don’t grieve God. Don’t break his heart. His Holy Spirit, moving and breathing in you, is the most intimate part of your life, making you fit for himself. Don’t take such a gift for granted.” Be GREATER!

  4. 37 But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

    40 Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;

41 Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

I kind of understand Jews. It had to be difficult to live years under Moises laws and all of the sudden here come this disciples and tell you that all that you believed is no longer truth and that Jesus came to save them. You see for us is normal we have heard about Jesus our whole life and all we have to do is believe, get baptized, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. For others is a bit harder for they have to believe in a God name Jesus that they never heard about before. For the Jews, the chosen people is even harder for they have been waiting for this Messiah for a very long time and for them it would mean to realize that He had come already and that their people murder their Redeemer. As I read this sermon from Paul, I put myself in their shoes. The Gentiles had nothing to lose and everything to gain, so they yearn for the truth!!! Thank you Jesus for empathy, a way to look at life from other people’s eyes. We need more empathy in our world today in Jesus Holy Name Amén

  5. Acts 13: 51-52 But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.
    52) And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.
No matter what the enemy sends our way, we can still have joy.
We just shake off the dust off our feet and go on.
If want have joy, than do the will of the Lord.
Because the Joy of the Lord is my Strength.
Be bless and full of Joy in Jesus name.

  6. Acts of the Apostles 13:22,30,34
[22]But God removed Saul and replaced him with David, a man about whom God said, ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart. He will do everything I want him to do.’

We need to do everything God wants us to do

[30]But God raised him from the dead!
[34]For God had promised to raise him from the dead, not leaving him to rot in the grave. He said, ‘I will give you the sacred blessings I promised to David.’

God will not leave us or forsake us.

  7. 2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

Prayer maintains our relationship with the Lord. We see here that prayer and fasting helps us to be sensitive to the prompting of the Holy Ghost.

  8. Afterward they traveled from town to town across the entire island until finally they reached Paphos, where they met a Jewish sorcerer, a false prophet named Bar-Jesus. But Elymas, the sorcerer (as his name means in Greek), interfered and urged the governor to pay no attention to what Barnabas and Saul said. He was trying to keep the governor from believing.
Acts of the Apostles 13:6‭, ‬8 NLT

Many things will try to imitate what God does, and even try to fill in what is meant for the Holy Ghost but nothing can substitute the power and yearning our souls crave for what God intends for us to have

  9. 46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

‭Isaiah‬ ‭42:6‬ ‭NKJV ““I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles,”
    ‭‭

  10. 51 but they shook off the dust of their feet against them
    And came unto Iconium.
    —-
Share the gospel, and if there are questions answer .
If they receive it good, the Lord will make a wY.
But if they don’t, move on and go to the next person.
The Spirit of God will guide and there will be more to it.
    No time to waist.
    Hallelujah
Blessed be the name of the Lord.

  11. As Paul and Barnabas left the synagogue that day, the people begged them to speak about these things again the next week.
Acts of the Apostles 13:42 NLT

People are hungry for the Word of God! I declare more Bible studies, preaching points around the city, and greater harvest coming from and coming into the pofw! In Jesus name! Amen.

  12. GREATER
    WE ARE GREATER

17 The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.

The WORD of the LORD JESUS spoke to us on Sunday Night 6/26 is the exact same WORD of the LORD JESUS spoke through Paul the apostle in the first generation. The NET says it clearly as on Sunday Night at The POFW.

    NET
17 The God of this people Israel chose our ancestors and made the people great during their stay as foreigners in the country Egypt, and with uplifted arm he led them out of it.

GOD made HIS people GREATER in their affliction. For this principal, I am thankful today, throuhg our affliction over the past 2 years at The POFW, JESUS has made us GREATER during our stay in it.

I say today to the people of GOD. Behold, the BRIDEGROOM cometh, GO ye out to meet HIM. Lets GO out today with the Midnight Cry and make known the soon coming of JESUS for HIS Church.

The attitude that we should possess is revealed here also.

52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.

FILLED with the Holy Ghost and JOY!

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iLive
    iGive
    iReap
    iGo
    iBlessYouInTheNameOfTheLordJESUS
iSee a REVIVAL and HARVEST building that is GREATER than anything I have ever seen coming to The POFW.

  13. “So they shook the dust from their feet as a sign of rejection and went to the town of Iconium. And the believers were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭13:51-52‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Shake the dust of your feet! Don’t fret about the things this world try’s to do against you. This world will try to form a mob against you and Intimidate you. Don’t worry God will show mercy and protect you.

  14. 7 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.

8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.

45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

When the truth goes forth, the enemy will try to hinder it. Paul was bold and rebuked the false prophet and he became blind. When the Jews contradicted Paul, he left and went somewhere else to preach and shook the dust off his shoes. Everyone will not believe, but that should not stop us because some will believe.

  15. The Kingdom of Heaven is GREATER
Act 13:2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
Act 13:3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

Truly Apostolic is being sent by the Holy Ghost. A lot of folk now days get impatient and leave from under their covering, but this example is one of many in the word of God where the Holy Ghost speaks to the leadership, and the leadership obeys. Notice what Barnabas and Saul were doing before they were sent, they “ministered” to the Lord. This word in the greek means, “a public servant, that is, a functionary in the Temple or Gospel”. They were simply setting up block parties in the 105 degree heat, they were simply doing G-Force skits in the afternoon sun, they were simply serving popcorn and snow cones to a bunch of overheated shade seeking strangers…but there was one thing that they were not doing, and that was devising their own escape.

We outta let the Holy Ghost send us out when He is ready to send us out otherwise there is gonna be a whole lotta shame.

iSee a REVIVAL and HARVEST building that is GREATER than anything I have ever seen coming to The POFW.

  16. 47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
49 And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.

We as Gentiles are blessed to receive the salvation of the Lord our God! We are regional church and wherever in this region we live, we are examples and lights to be used to guide others to this truth for greater harvest in these last days.

  17. Acts 13:49, “And the Word of the Lord was published (to make widely known) throughout all the region.”

I believe it was Bro. Bobby Wade who told us that We (POFW) are a Regional Church. So we need to make sure that We are Publishing (making widely known) the Word of God throughout This Region.
    Go Forward in JESUS Name!!

  18. ‘Then the Jews stirred up the influential religious women and the leaders of the city, and they incited a mob against Paul and Barnabas and ran them out of town. So they shook the dust from their feet as a sign of rejection and went to the town of Iconium. And the believers were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.’

    Acts of the Apostles 13:50-52

    STIR EM UP
We gotta stir up this city and compell them to the house of the Lord im fired up and cant wait to see the sanctuary full again. I cant wait to see the buses full again. I cant wait to see the bus teams rushing to get to church on time because of all the people. I cant wait to for multiple services, I cant wait for my fingers to get PRUNY from all the baptisms. I cant wait for ON FIRE YOUTH REVIVAL! Its coming! Its COMING!

  19. But God raised him from the dead! And over a period of many days he appeared to those who had gone with him from Galilee to Jerusalem. They are now his witnesses to the people of Israel. “And now we are here to bring you this Good News. The promise was made to our ancestors, and God has now fulfilled it for us, their descendants, by raising Jesus. This is what the second psalm says about Jesus: ‘You are my Son. Today I have become your Father.’ For God had promised to raise him from the dead, not leaving him to rot in the grave. He said, ‘I will give you the sacred blessings I promised to David.’ Another psalm explains it more fully: ‘You will not allow your Holy One to rot in the grave.’ This is not a reference to David, for after David had done the will of God in his own generation, he died and was buried with his ancestors, and his body decayed. No, it was a reference to someone else—someone whom God raised and whose body did not decay.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭13:30-37‬ ‭NLT‬‬

But God: These are wonderful words. Man did his best to fight against God – even to kill Him – but God was GREATER than man’s sin and rebellion, and Jesus rose from the grave, winning over sin and death.

  20. The Living Bible
    vs.46
Then Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and declared, It was necessary that this Good News from God should be given first to you Jews. But since you have rejected it and shown yourselves unworthy of eternal life — well, we will offer it to Gentiles.

But when great numbers of Gentiles turn out the next Sabbath to hear him, the Jewish elders are jealous and hostile. Paul then declares his intention to go directly to the Gentile community with his message of salvation, and a great revival sweeps the countryside.

  21. 1 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

We must fast and pray so that we can get our flesh out of the way. When we pray we will hear from God and find his direction for our lives. Without fasting and praying we will not be able to find God’s Direction.

  22. 2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

Fasting and prayer changes us – Barnabas and Saul were instructed to separate themselves for the service of the Lord and they were sent to teach/preach the gospel.

Fasting and prayer may not separate us to send us out to teach and preach but it will separate us from sins that may be lurking in our lives, or carnal ways and thinking that will cause us to be able to teach and preach the gospel.

  23. 50 But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.
    ***************************
There are those in some churches, that have high positions in the church, that sometimes they start to feel as though they can’t be replaced. I do this or that, I keep everything going, I am better than the newbies coming in who haven’t done anything and so on. I don’t mean to offend anyone. Don’t know anyone at POFW like that. But can see how the honorable women and chief men can start to feel that way. We have to be careful as leaders not to get too self righteous. Give all the glory to God. We all started at the bottom and God gave us the ability to serve Him where we were needed, and just like that we can fall right back down when we start highlighting what we have done. It is God who deserves the honor and praise. Let’s be sure that He gets it. Thank you Jesus for all the saints that serve you from the church cleaners, bus ministry, teachers, nursery, children’s ministry, yard maintainers, to all positions, musicians, pastor, elders, ushers, ministers, so many positions, all important, all for the Glory of God. Praise the Lord.

  24. 10 “Then he said, “You son of the devil, full of every sort of deceit and fraud, and enemy of all that is good! Will you never stop perverting the true ways of the Lord?”

When reading this passage of scripture, I couldn’t but remember that old phrase we may have all heard at one point in our life. “Who’s your daddy?”.

We can each be faced with this question today. Are we acting like children of the world, or children of God. We can say one thing, but act another.

I see GREATER when we all actively and persistently choose to ACT and LIVE like the Children of God we are each called to be! That the question of who our father is wouldn’t be needed, the very being of who we are will radiate JESUS.

  25. 50 But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.

51 But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.

Sometimes we need to just close our mouth, move on, and shake the dust of our feet. Jesus help us everyday to just keep our eyes on you when people rise up against us.

  26. 8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.
10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
Paul has been full with the Holy Spirit the devil didn’t take him by surprise. he is obedient to God’s laws and commandments, Living in Christ is not just believing in him today’s day Christians believed in christ but disobeying his holy celestial constitutional law many not even know what is the first commandment of God.
These people the cry out to kill the kids are the generation of genesis 3;15, they obeyed the word of the serpent versus the word of their own creator.
    IN Genesis God said this
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and every creature that crawls upon the earth.”
they hate righteous and love evil the men who walked against God’s commandments.

  27. 15 And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.

Never waste an opportunity to preach teach Jesus.

    A.L.M.A.S.

  28. 8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.

11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.

Whatever work the enemy tries to use to divert and mess with the will of God, the Lord will surely use it to his advantage and get glory out of it. What a great example we see here. The Lord took that same vessel the enemy was attempting to use to dustract and destroy to make an example to fulfill the will of God and accomplish it.

  29. “For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, That thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭13:47-49‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    Hallelujah 🙌🙌🙌

We all have been called of the Lord. Salvation has come to our home and family. I cannot stay silent in this time of GREATER REVIVAL. There is a people that THE LORD JESUS IS Calling by name. We must be ready to testify to win S. O. U. L. S./A. L. M. A. S.
We have been commanded by GOD TO reach/teach/preach/LOVE.

“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
    ‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”
    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭14:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  30. no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

  31. 42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

43 Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

The disciples were preaching fervently the Word of the Lord and the gentiles begging g for hearing these treasures. When the Word of God is preached produced fruits. Praised the Lord!

  32. 45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

  33. 30 But God raised him from the dead

God has all power. We to can be partakers of this power. If we follow after God’s Word, he will give us power over the enemy. Only through him can we conquer all things.

  34. 9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.

10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

Saul was filled with the Holy Ghost and understood who he was talking to. The people of God knows God voice and follows Him. They live in righteous.

  35. Acts 13:52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.

  37. 15 And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.

What have you read in the law? What do you know of our teachings? Study and show yourself a good steward.

  38. 44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.
