Acts 15

And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.

And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.

But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.

And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.

And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;

And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

12 Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.

13 And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me:

14 Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.

15 And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,

16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:

17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.

18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.

19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:

20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

22 Then pleased it the apostles and elders with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas and Silas, chief men among the brethren:

23 And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia.

24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

25 It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

26 Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

27 We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.

28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;

29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

30 So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle:

31 Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.

32 And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.

33 And after they had tarried there a space, they were let go in peace from the brethren unto the apostles.

34 Notwithstanding it pleased Silas to abide there still.

35 Paul also and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.

36 And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.

37 And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.

38 But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.

39 And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus;

40 And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.

41 And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.

  1. 1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
    8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

Often we can find many believers and denominations which have a variety of standards in appearance and activities. The way we behave is important, however the saved condition of the heart weighs greater in the Lord’s balances.

  2. 11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

    Hallelujah!
    Thank You Jesus!

  3. Acts of the Apostles 15:11
We believe that we are all saved the same way, by the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus.”

Thank you Jesus for mercy and grace. Forgiveness and redemption are possible regardless of sins committed and that the soul can be delivered from despair through the mercy of God. Amazing Grace how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found.

    Thank you Jesus

  4. 3 And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

The church had open arms to others being saved and sought for unity in how they should live for God. And after much discussion the Jews, Samaritans and Gentiles achieved it. No matter how different our cultures may be we can all serve God in unity and truth!

  5. But then some of the believers who belonged to the sect of the Pharisees stood up and insisted, “The Gentile converts must be circumcised and required to follow the law of Moses.”
Acts of the Apostles 15:5 NLT

They will always be people that are stuck on having a legalistic standpoint and projecting old ways or even traditions as laws, not willing to conform to change but instead using traditions as a pedestal to measure other people. The church needs to take the stance of allowing people regardless of their background and not requiring them to do anything but rather loving them so they can partake in the grace of God. I have yet to see a soul one from legalism but I’ve seen hundreds of people reached through the love of Christ and acceptance

  6. “But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work. And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus; and Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭15:38-40‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s ok to agree to disagree. We are not always going to agree on doing things the same way. We all have different ways to minister, speak, to teach , to serve etc. But what is important here is to remember that we all are working in HIS KINGDOM, not to build our own. We as a body of Christ must speak the same thing so that where unity and the love of GOD exist, miracles, signs, and wonders can be.
Put your thoughts and feelings aside and continue the work where you have been placed.
Division(quarrels, contentions) will always divide a church. Where unity will always unite us and make us stronger as one body in Christ.

“But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. And if they were all one member, where were the body? But now are they many members, yet but one body. And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: and those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: that there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.”
    ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12:18-28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  7. “And so my judgment is that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead, we should write and tell them to abstain from eating food offered to idols, from sexual immorality, from eating the meat of strangled animals, and from consuming blood. For these laws of Moses have been preached in Jewish synagogues in every city on every Sabbath for many generations.”
Acts of the Apostles 15:19‭-‬21 NLT

Thank You, Jesus that You came to fulfill the law!! And by Your Grace and Mercy were able to have favor with You, Lord.
We hear of weakened watered down Christianity that we can just sing kumbaya and live in peace and prosperity. No! When they were under Jewish law they had the set of rules and commandments to follow, but now Jesus comes and He says to forgive…..that is not natural for us to forgive. It takes supernatural effort to forgive someone. Hallelujah Jesus for the freedom that forgiveness brings!!

  8. The church sent the delegates to Jerusalem, and they stopped along the way in Phoenicia and Samaria to visit the believers. They told them—much to everyone’s joy—that the Gentiles, too, were being converted. When they arrived in Jerusalem, Barnabas and Paul were welcomed by the whole church, including the apostles and elders. They reported everything God had done through them. (‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭15‬:‭3-4‬ NLT)

This passage of scripture shows the importance of encouraging each other with our words. Let Jesus out! Share what you have seen and heard.

So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. (‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭11‬ NLT)

  9. The Kingdom of Heaven is GREATER
2 When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.

WOW, the Apostles weren’t messing around with false doctrine. They had to nip this in the bud just as soon as possible or find the church in a chaotic mess. Unfortunately in today’s society of everyone getting offended so easily, its tough laying out sound doctrine

  10. I love POFW LIVE JESUS GIVE JESUS2 GREATER! 9And no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. God wants all of us to enjoy and benefit from him. Thank you Jesus.

  11. Acts 15:11, “But we believe that through the Grace of the LORD JESUS CHRIST we shall be saved, even as they.”

Romans 3:24 says, “Being justified freely by His Grace through the redemption that is in CHRIST JESUS.”
Romans 5:15 says, “But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much MORE the Grace of God, and the gift by Grace, which is by one man, JESUS CHRIST, hath abounded unto many.
Ephesians 2:4-5 says, “4) But God who is rich in Mercy, for His Great Love wherewith He Loved Us, 5) Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with CHRIST, (by Grace ye are Saved;).
Romans 2:8 says, “For by Grace are ye Saved through Faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

    “GRACE”
Thank You JESUS for Your MERCY, LOVE, and GRACE.
It is by Your Gift of GRACE that we are Saved.
    GREATER GRACE

  12. Acts 15 : 35-36 Paul also and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.
    36) And some days after Paul said unto Barnabus. Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.
    The Council at Jerusalem
Thus was an important council was held in Jerusalem in about 50A.D.
There were those who held that circumcision was necessary for believers.
Let’s go on a mission to visit and preach the word of God wherever we go in peace and be united just like Paul was.
    Be blessed in Jesus name.

  13. 40 and Paul choose Silas and departed being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.
    ——
Well, conflict before and now, but the gospel must be preached.
The Holy Spirit and the grace of God will always conquered
And the saints will keep moving on yielding and being
Sensitive to the guide ce of the Holy Spirit.
    In Jesus name.

  14. The Living bible
    vs-22
Then the apostles and elders and the whole congregation voted to send delegates to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas ,to report on this decision. The men chosen were two of the church leaders Judas and Silas.

Apostles, elders , and the whole church were involved in the process that resolved the churches first great challenge. The pattern seen here involved: clear statement of the issue, arguments by both sides , evidence from experience and Scripture ,good communication with the whole church, and a resulting sense of unity.

  15. ‘After a few days of this, Paul said to Barnabas, “Let’s go back and visit all our friends in each of the towns where we preached the Word of God. Let’s see how they’re doing.” Barnabas wanted to take John along, the John nicknamed Mark. But Paul wouldn’t have him; he wasn’t about to take along a quitter who, as soon as the going got tough, had jumped ship on them in Pamphylia. Tempers flared, and they ended up going their separate ways: Barnabas took Mark and sailed for Cyprus; Paul chose Silas and, offered up by their friends to the grace of the Master, went to Syria and Cilicia to put grit in those congregations.
    Acts 15:36-41

John nicknamed mark missed his opportunity to serve because of their first struggle.
When the going gets tough and your ministry starts to dwindle down to nothing are you just gonna give up and move on to the next big thing. Are you just gonna find the next big revival church and go in hopes to serve at great capacity. God gives the increase we read about this throughout the entire bible. We gotta keep pressing into what we know works and thats fervent prayer. Thats bible studies, thats reaching the lost, thats preaching the word, thats being a witness wherever we go!

  16. Acts 15

11 But we believe that through the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

I thank God for his love and the Holy Spirit brought to the Gentiles. I can’t fathom the thought of not having Jesus in my life. This is why we need to pray for the unsaved.
Thank you Jesus for this day.

  17. 26 Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
    **************
I don’t know how many of us in the church have been in danger of our lives for the name of Jesus Christ. I think of missionaries, evangelist, those who go to other countries to preach the word, to far out uncivilized communities, yes this could be hazardous to their lives. But right here in Ft. Worth, we have areas that could be dangerous also. The mission of the church is to go out and bring in the sinners, not just in the safe areas, there are hurting souls all over our city that needs the church, they need Jesus. It can be intimating to speak to someone you don’t know, they could just reject you but they could also attack you, or they could listen and be saved. I think that God gives us wisdom in these times what to say and do. We have to be smart about it. We have to love the person not the sin. It takes courage, boldness, wisdom, all of this comes from the Spirit of the Holy Ghost. Lord, please give me this assurance, the confidence to speak the name of Jesus over those in need. Thank you Lord.

  18. 8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Good looks at our heart. Everyday, every hour. God sees what’s within. Walk by faith with a pure heart!

  19. AMP – 6 The apostles and the elders came together to consider this matter. 7 After a long debate, Peter got up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles would hear the message of the gospel and believe. 8 And God, who knows and understands the heart, testified to them, giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He also did to us; 9 and He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith [in Jesus]

God is the one who chooses to give His Spirit to people, not us. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Share the gospel with all. Salvation is not up to us, nor should we expect everyone to be with us. God has principles and disciplines to live by in His word, and all must follow. However, we cannot put our personal convictions upon the shoulders of others. Something God might have convicted me of, may not be a conviction for you, so I am not going to hold you to my conviction or make you feel bad that I can’t do something you can and vice versa.

  20. 1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

2 When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question

Paul and Barnabas traveled to Jerusalem to settle the circumcision question. The Apostles decided that it was not required that Gentiles be circumcised but that they abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication. It was good that the apostles could come together and decide on an issue.

  21. Greater
    Miracles, Wonders , and Signs
    Keep on. testifying

v12 Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.

Let’s keep testifying brethren of the mighty power of God working among us.

  22. 30 So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle:

31 Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.

When the letter from Jerusalem was read in the church at Antioch. It proved to be a great encouragement. The disciples there now knew that God saved them as Gentiles and not by their becoming Jews.

  23. GREATER
    CHURCH GOVERNMENT

36 And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.

On this Celebration of Independence Day we celebrate the United States of America becoming an independent Nation. What that means is the USA formed a Government to govern, rule or establish laws for living in America.

The USA followed the Government principals of The Kingdom of GOD. The main differnce being that in a Kingdom it is a FAMILY that establishes the laws and remains in authority unless overthrown. The King of The Kingdom of GOD is JESUS who lives eternally, therefore the laws and government will never change. We have the BIBLE or WORD of GOD as the Law of The Kingdom of GOD.

In The USA we elect a president to authority every 4 years and therefore the law is ever changing and increased to attempt to meet the demands of the people.

We witness in Acts 15 the esablishment of the Church. Following the Law of GOD and formed on the principals of the WORD of GOD. Following Church Government we find, church guidelines for Leaders, Saints and order in the church. This is why the apostle Paul, a Leader in the church called for accountability from the churches and ministers that were established.

Likewise we should seek ourselves to be accountable to and for the expectations of The Kingdom of GOD and the Family of GOD which the Church represents. We accomplish by following the Laws of GOD and the guidance of the Man of GOD in our lives to establish the WORK of GOD in the earth.

Lets choose today to enjoy and apprecitate the liberty and freedom established in our life by King JESUS. We are no longer slaves to sin, but we do follow the Law of GOD.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iLive
    iGive
    iReap
    iGo
    iBlessYouInTheNameOfTheLordJESUS
iSee a REVIVAL and HARVEST building that is GREATER than anything I have ever seen coming to The POFW.

  24. They told them—much to everyone’s joy—that the Gentiles, too, were being converted.

The Word, Jesus and salvation is for everyone. As long as you have a relationship with God, and you are serving in the Kingdom, you’ll be heaven bound. God doesn’t looks at traditions, but have you repented, been baptized and accepted Jesus as savior.

  25. Verse 36 MSG “After a few days of this, Paul said to Barnabas, “Let’s go back and visit all our friends in each of the towns where we preached the Word of God. Let’s see how they’re doing.” Follow up is part of outreach and very key in introducing one to discipleship. Hebrews 10:22-25 CEV says “So let’s come near God with pure hearts and a confidence that comes from having faith. Let’s keep our hearts pure, our consciences free from evil, and our bodies washed with clean water. We must hold tightly to the hope we say is ours. After all, we can trust the one who made the agreement with us. We should keep on encouraging each other to be thoughtful and to do helpful things. Some people have given up the habit of meeting for worship, but we must not do that. We should keep on encouraging each other, especially since you know that the day of the Lord’s coming is getting closer.” Be GREATER as the Bridegroom Cometh!

  26. 16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:

17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.

  27. 11 NLT “We believe that we are all saved the same way, by the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus.””
    ‭‭
We are saved through faith by His grace. Thank you LORD for your mercies and grace.

  28. 1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
2 When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.

Many get caught up in denominal legalities and they loose sight of what Peter told everyone on the day of Pentecost.

We must remember what The Word says, and not add to it or take away from it.

  29. The work of God must be done. In season and out of season. We cannot take a break from declaring God’s word because the enemy does not take breaks. He f we abide in him, he will abide in us.

  30. 37 And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.
38 But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.
    39 And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus;

Sometimes people we work/ serve with, cannot agree, or move on. We have to understand that we will not always agree with those we serve with, nor will others stay forever.

  31. 8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;

Everyone has the chance of reviving the Holy Ghost. God loves and humbly expects everyone into His kingdom. He doesn’t care who you are or what you’ve done, you just have to repent and ask for forgiveness of your sins. I pray tonight that we are all asking for His forgiveness and doing our best to do what is right!!!

  32. 37 And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.

38 But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.

    39 And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus;

40 And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.

41 And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.

Disagreements will happen. We are human and we not always see and agree on everything. That doesn’t mean that we cannot continue to serve God.

  33. “‘Afterward I will return and restore the fallen house of David. I will rebuild its ruins and restore it,”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭15:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Thank God for the RESTORE! For when it feels all is broken and lost He will make a way. He will rebuild what has been torn down and use it for His Glory!

  34. 4 And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.

They were received with open hearts. This makes a great difference when trying to lead someone to the truth. A open heart will allow them to be ready to accept what God has for them.

  35. When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question. I learned that Paul and Barnabas they had no small distribution they had to go to the apostles and elders about this question like then Joseph describe pharaohs dream the 7 day of good food and the 7days Ryan food that was a big problem.

  36. 37 And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.
38 But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.
    39 And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus;
40 And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.

Contention and disunity separates us as a church body. Disagreements and not seeing eye to eye also separate us as a church. Sometimes to the point that we choose to go in different directions. Let us be more aware of our actions and decisions and how they effect others around us and in our assemblies. Let’s do our best to keep contention out and keep unity across the board.

  37. 36 And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.

  38. 24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

When we listen to outside sources instead of the man of God in our lives we can get ourselves in trouble. I Thank God today for the men of God in my life that have spoken words in to my life and have preached the truth instead of their own thoughts.

  39. 20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

Sounds easy? Yup, but some would beg to differ that it is easier said than done…. it is only as hard as we make it (our fleshly desires) . So yes if we are more carnal then yes it is hard, but for GOD NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!

  40. 8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;

9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

We have no right to judge those who make mistakes because we all make mistakes, we all have flesh but we aren’t better then those who are lost and blinded by what this world has to “offer”

  41. 9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

  42. “God knows people’s hearts, and he confirmed that he accepts Gentiles by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as he did to us. He made no distinction between us and them, for he cleansed their hearts through faith. So why are you now challenging God by burdening the Gentile believers with a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors were able to bear?”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭15:8-10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Sometimes we expect new converts to automatically be willing to follow standards that they don’t yet understand. However, fact of the matter is they are saved just the same as you and I so long as they have repented, been baptized and received the HG. My walk with God won’t look like yours and your walk with God won’t look like mine so we can’t push our standards, expectations, and convictions on those around us whether they are babes in Christ or long time followers of God.
