Psalm Chapter 24

Pray Today

Acts 5:14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Fort Worth, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Psalm 24

The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Who is this King of glory? The Lordstrong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

  1. 1. The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

It’s easy for God to bless His people. He created everyone and everything and it all belongs to Him anyway. He doesn’t need to borrow anything or ask permission from anyone, it’s all under His control.

  2. Who is this King of glory? The Lordstrong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

We can not win this spiritual battle with our own power. The battle is the Lord’s and He deserves the glory.

  3. Psalm 24 : 8 – 9 [ KJV] Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty ,the Lord mighty in battle.

9] Lift up your heads ,O ye gates ,even Lift them up, ye everlasting doors and the King of glory shall come in .

The world and everything in it belongs to God, who then can stand in his presence? God is God of Jacob , and those who are His can stand in his presence and worship him.

God is always with us, even to the end!

Hallelujah Praise the Lord for he is so good to us.

  4. 10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Selah: in this chaotic and busy hectic world, how often do we pause and reflect about the goodness of God? How often do we just sit and think about his presence and think about all of his glory and the things that he does for his people.? We truly serve a magnificent and wonderful Lord! One that is Head and Shoulders above all of the false idols. And we were created for the sole purpose just to be able to talk to him and to commune with our God!

  5. Psalm 24:6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah

    1 Chronicles 16:11
Seek out the LORD and His strength; seek His face always.

  6. The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

Everything on earth belongs to God. He owns all that was created.

  7. 4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

When we as children of God live a life with a pure heart and clean hands then God can do his part.

blesses and favor will being to flow. so today remember to live a life with a pure heart.

  8. Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

only the ones who follow God will be able to enter and receive Gods blessings.

  9. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

This Psalm is accomplished in us when Jesus enters our hearts as our King to reign, and it will have its full realization when the earth and its population welcome Him as its Lord.

    ELEVATE

7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Life has its seasons of trials, testing and disappointment which cause our heads to hang low. Hope is low, expectation is low, moral is low, joy is low and we need HOPE, PEACE and JOY.

The psalmist proclaims here the order of the GLORY of GOD, the path to the source of VICTORY.

    LIFT UP YOUR HEAD

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

JESUS says to lift up our head or ELEVATE our expectation is to express HOPE in and to HIM. We witness this principle demonstrated in Acts 3.

Acts 3:3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

The beggar had his head down in shame or defeat. BUT to receive his MIRACLE he had to ELEVATE his hope, expectation and desire. I say to you today LOOK UP. ELEVATE your HOPE and EXPECTATION from JESUS. The KING of Glory will come IN to your life, situation, circumstance.

  13. 3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?

4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully

This is what we strive for every day-keeping our hearts cleansed from sin so we are able to stand in his presence.

Selah.

A pure heart can be found in those that seek the Lord. One who does not get puffed up with pride, or selfishness, and keeps their hands clean of gossip, malice, envy, strife, bitterness, vanity is one who is submitted to God in prayer and the Word. The Word of God leads us and prayer keeps the communication between God and us open so that He can speak to us, so His Spirit can nudge us when one of these things are rising up up in our lives.

    Matthew 5:8

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

“Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?”

This is why repentance is so important in the Kingdom of God. Without repentance, we will be unable to enter into the Presence of God. While God loves each and everyone of us, he requires us to go before his Presence with the garment of Righteousness

  16. vs-4

He that have clean hands, and a pure heart; who have not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Proper worship of God requires clean hands, a pure heart, and integrity. A person cannot truly worship God unless they are submitted to Him in faith, and that submission cannot occur until they have been redeemed by salvation.

Psalm 24: The Triumph of the King

The psalmist ponders the preparation of those who will accompany the “King of glory” up God’s holy hill and caught up in a vision of the triumph of a king who is God Himself.

  17. Psalms 24:3-6 (NLT), “3) Who may climb the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in His holy place? 4) Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies. 5) They will receive the LORD’S blessing and have a right relationship with God their savior. 6) Such people may seek you and worship in your presence, O God of Jacob.”

For those whose hands (actions), hearts (thoughts), and not telling lies (mouth/words) are clean and pure, they may Stand In His Holy Place, Seek Him, Worship In His Presence, Be Blessed By Him, and Have A Right Relationship With God.

  18. Verse 8 AMP “Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.” So many still don’t really know him and we should be ReADY to tell them who this King of glory is. ReVIVE and take your place.

Selah.

  20. Psalms 24

3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his Holy place?

Seek and ye shall find. We must repent, be baptized in Jesus name and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Be as righteous as possible. We must seek our Lord. We have the choice to choose Him or the world. I know I want Jesus more than anything. I am grateful for the opportunity to live where I have to have true salvation.

Thank you Jesus for this day.

  21. “The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein.”
    ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭24‬:‭1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The only creator of the world. Everything our eyes are allowed to see, is the beauty of what GOD has me see.
Like the beauty of the rainbow 🌈 seen on the way home from the ladies prayer meeting. It just reminds me that HE IS always faithful to HIS children and His word.

  22. ‭Psalms 24:8 NLT‬
Who is the King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty; the Lord, invincible in battle.

The Lord is mighty in battle. Every battle you are going through will be won in the name of Jesus. Rest assured that victory and overcoming will come in Jesus name. Jesus can never be defeated. The enemy and the battles are defeated. Don’t lose hope. God’s got you in the palm of his hand raising you up. His plans and ways are higher than ours.

  23. 7Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter.

Lets open our doors to let God enter. Once God enters your heart, all is forgiven, and blessings will come.

  24. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

we need to keep our hands pure and keep our heart pure

  25. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?

The land is the Lord becuase he created it and people who worship and have a pure mind will enter heaven . God will save those who come to him . Lift your hands up and worship the Lord

  26. The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

When everything is falling apart around you it is easy to take your eyes off the Creator and look at what you think you might end up missing. Remember who made it all, as He is still in charge…
