Isaiah 9
1 Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.
2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
3 Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
4 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.
5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
8 The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.
9 And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart,
10 The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.
11 Therefore the Lord shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him, and join his enemies together;
12 The Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
13 For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the Lord of hosts.
14 Therefore the Lord will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day.
15 The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.
16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.
17 Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Verses 6-7 NLT “For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor,[d] Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will make this happen!” A given hope to us and a gift for us.
These misguided leaders have misled this people; and those who follow have become swallowed up in their deceit. Voice
Be careful of whom you follow – you may become swallowed up in deceit, or find yourself in a ditch.
Matthew 15:14
So let them be. They are blind guides. What happens when one blind person leads another? Both of them fall into a ditch.

“Oh come to the altar, the Fathers arms are open wide. Forgiveness, is bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ.” In this case i would gladly encoursge one to go into the light!
We recognize and often note this prophetic passage, but consider again what it says. He didn’t just come back for his chosen people, he declares ‘The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.’ The very people lost in the midst of the darkness of the sin of this world. The ones that are on the path to certain destruction. They had the opportunity to see a great light! Not just any great light, but THE GREAT LIGHT!
And yet the almighty God of heaven choose to display himself in the most common of settings: ‘For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end..’ We are part of this! Every aspect of this prophecy is into us… as much of it as we are willing to receive.
He is not just the mighty God of heaven, he can be wonderful to me! He can provide the counsel and peace I need to walk successfully with him! He is not only the perfect example of the son, he can also be the father this world so desperately needs. They that were in darkness have seen a great light! Don’t stop at just seeing, make Jesus integral to every aspect of your life!
1 Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulum and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the Gentiles, by the way of the sea along the Jordan.

There are folks around that absolutely refuse to be humbled. The Lord will bring judgement and they will still do what they want to do no matter what the consequences are. They say in their hearts that God might knock them down, but that means they will build the walls of wickedness even higher with even more wickedness. Instead of bricks, they use stone…Wow, let’s not be that arrogant, let’s humble ourselves when God destroys those idols in our lives.

God created us for fellowship, with a free will to make decisions, whether right or wrong. His love won’t allow Him to give up on us. He hates the sin, not the sinner. I don’t have to better myself for God to love me. He already did. I don’t have to make a deal with God in exchange for His love. He already loved me. I don’t have to be the perfect man to win God’s favor. I can’t buy “more love” if I wanted to. God already gave me all the love He has.

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace
Amen Amen!! This is the God that I serve , the God that will never let me down, the God that always wants the best for me, the God that builds me up, the God that gives me the knowledge and wisdom, the God that gives me guidance, overall His Name is JESUS!!! Thank you Lord for coming into this world and saving us, saving us from the pits of hell and shedding your blood in the precious blood. No one else like you Jesus!!!
A child is born. He is the Almighty he is above all.
We serve an all mighty God . he is wonderful counselor. Everlasting farther prince of peace.

In time of darkness, God promised to send a great light. This promise was fulfilled when Christ was born, but not only was He a light, but also The Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, and The Prince of Peace. This light was named Jesus!!

This is a beautiful oneness scripture… This scripture is prophesying the coming of Jesus Christ the messiah. Its no mystery that Isaiah calls him “the mighty God” and not Jesus Jr. “The Everlasting Father” Is also indication that Jesus is the Father as well. This scripture reminds me of the song “Its all in him, its all in him the mighty God is Jesus and its all in Him”!!

So THANKFUL that “I saw the Great Light” JESUS CHRIST, and HE shined into my life.
9 But there will be no more gloom for her who was in anguish [for with judgment comes the promise of salvation]. In earlier times He treated the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali with contempt, but later on He will make them honored [by the presence of the Messiah], by the way of the sea, on the other side of Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles.

The people who walk in [spiritual] darkness

Those who live in the dark land,
The Light will shine on them.

You [O God] will increase the nation,
You will multiply their joy;
They will rejoice before You
Like the joy and jubilation of the harvest,

The promise of restoration, renewal and peace that comes with the Messiah! Everything we have need of we can find in Jesus. Too many times we look for other things to fill the void that only Jesus can satisfy.
GO CONFUSE YOUR ENEMIES
5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.
I AM VICTORIOUS through my PRAISE. When our PRAISE precedes our BATTLE. We confuse our enemies. A confused noise is an uncertain sound and creates an advantage over our enemies.
We should be prayerful in our approach to each situation and PRAISE JESUS in advance for the VICTORY.

You may be going through something right now but if you keep going you will see the light that you’ve been waiting for, don’t give up because God has something in store for you!
16 For the leaders of the people have misled them. They have led them down the path of destruction.
We can easily be misled by those in authority. We must always be aware of what is being said or taught to us. If something doesn’t seem right, trust your instincts and walk away. Pray and trust in God, and rely on him to guide you in your decisions.

There is only one ruler, the almighty God Jesus Christ who will fairly judge you. He sees all and knows all, no one will get by in doing evil.

There are two fires that pertain to battle. That is the one after the victory where the warriors burn the bloody garments.. and the other the wrath of the Lord who scorches the land and the people will be fuel for the fire. We can be consumed by the all consuming fire, baptized with the Spirit and fire, or consumed by sin and scorched in his wrath. I pray we get so consumed with fire of his Spirit that we attract and set on fire our schools, city, and nation.

We must first acknowledge that when we come before the lord and his throne that the difference between burdens that are right for us to bear and burdens that are wrong. We should never bear the burdens of sin or doubt, but there are some burdens placed on us by God which He does not intend to lift off. God wants us to roll them back on Him— to literally “cast your burden,” which He has given you, “on the Lord….” If we set out to serve God and do His work but get out of touch with Him, the sense of responsibility we feel will be overwhelming and defeating.
He is all that we need.

What do you need God to be to you today? No, seriously. What do you need in your life today? We know who the way maker is. His name is Jesus. He is all that we will ever need because he created the heavens and the earth. It’s really that simple, ask and receive. Seek and find. He is our Heavenly Father that wants to give us good gifts.
who do you put your trust into? is it Jesus?
who do you trust to lead you and do know what direction your going?
join him, follow him and rejoice with him in eternity.

How many of us rejoice and praise the Lord when we GO through trials? Do you only praise the Lord when you reap the reward? We should praise the Lord at all times. Psalms 34:1 says “I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” No matter what happens to me I pray that His praise would be continually be on my lips. Let us GO PRAISE the Lord at ALL TIMES!

The feeling of hope, joy, revelation and freedom when we see the light and finally see what Jesus can do in our lives is much more magnified when we see others see the light and receive Jesus. We must continue to share Jesus with everyone we meet.
The Joy in the Harvest!

3 Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
Those who would have joy, must expect to go through hard work, as the husbandman, before he has the joy of harvest; and hard conflict, as the soldier, before he divides the spoil.
They joy before thee — In thy presence, and in the place of thy worship; according to the joy in harvest, &c. — When men, with great joy, reap the long-expected fruit of their great labours and expectations, or as when, after a glorious victory, they come to take the spoil.

JESUS will open the eyes of the blind, To bring prisoner’s from the dungeon. And those who are sit in darkness from the prison. Thank you Jesus from pulling me out of darkness and putting me in to your marvellous light.
Every child of God must learn to guard their mind. The enemy will bring every attack he can against you. If we stand firm and abide in God’s word, we can overcome all things.

There is only one that rules with all fairness and justice. Praise will bring this Judge and his kingdom or government to any situation.

His name is Jesus! “He shall be called the mighty God” he is lord and king over all he is our God! Thank you Jesus for a clear understanding of who you are and what you are about. Lord shape me and mold me like a potter molds clay.

I know a lot of people are using this first, but this is one of my favorite verses, especially, when it comes to talking about the Oneness of God. Because it doesn’t get more simple than this right here.

And his name is Jesus! May his love, sacrifice, and will, be on my lips and in my heart. This verse shows the promise that Jesus gave long before we saw the results. Showing me that God is not bound by time. He simply says it steps into the future and it is so. Just because I don’t see it now doesn’t mean that it is not ready, built and finished. Faith will get me there, may my faith increase.
