Revelation 21

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.

10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

  1. 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Oh what a glorious day that will be when we are able to enter into the kingdom and the glory of the Lord to reign with him. When all of our trouble and all of our heart ache is a thing of the past. This is what Paul said he was pressing toward the mark for, when you said old things pass away and all things become new. All of our tears of sorrow will be no more. What a glorious day it’s going to be when we are in our eternal rest with our savior.

  2. Wow….what a sight to see and record. Just like in Revelation Chapter 1:8 “The Master declares, “I’m A to Z. I’m The God Who Is, The God Who Was, and The God About to Arrive. I’m the Sovereign-Strong” and now twenty chapters later in verse 6 “Then he said, “It’s happened. I’m A to Z. I’m the Beginning, I’m the Conclusion. From Water-of-Life Well I give freely to the thirsty.” As we heard last night and this chapter ends with the last part of verse 27 AMP “….but only those [will be admitted] whose names have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.”

  3. 5. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

    6. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Like children, we must be humble and let our Father know that we are thirsty. If we remain too full of pride to admit we are dependent on Him, we will remain thirsty, not receiving the water of life that He is willing to give freely.

  4. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. That is going to be a glorious day; the day that all suffering ends. I can’t wait for the glory of the Kingdom to come to earth. God is good all the time. The things God must have shown John; imagine the most elaborate house in the world. That wouldn’t even compare to the glory of the Kingdom. Not to mention it wouldn’t even stand against a strong enough storm. His tabernacle on earth: heaven on earth. I can’t wait. Thank you Jesus.

  5. A new Heaven and a new earth, WoW
No more sickness, no more pain, no more tears, no more heartache. All things were made new and fresh.
Reading the description of the new city, this caught my eye.

23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

The glory of the Lord is what lit this place up. As i was praying I begin to think if all the people that were in a valley would just stop and glorify the Lord in their situation or just simply say “God, I fear you” then all our troubles will be lit up by the glory of God. All our worries would be pushed out of the way and into the hands of God. I’m shooting for the 100 times to say “God, I fear you” today. Just the 5 times I said it last night I felt Jesus more and more like I hadn’t in awhile.

  6. And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. At one point I was thought that we are the bride of Christ, but this scripture clearly states that Jerusalem is the bride of Christ! I dont know alot about this, because I have always been apprehensive about reading and studying revelation, but I know that I cant wait to see how everything is gonna work out! I’m excited to go, I just pray I keep it right so I can gi up!

  7. The wall of the city was built on foundation stones inlaid with twelve precious stones: the first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst. Nothing evil will be allowed to enter, nor anyone who practices shameful idolatry and dishonesty—but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
    Revelation 21:19‭-‬20‭, ‬27 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/rev.21.19-27.NLT

With all the mess ups of the Israelites and the twelve tribes, God utilized the twelve in laying foundations for so many things. Don’t ever think that your sins were so great they’ll define you. Gods forgiveness is bigger than that. God still used the twelve tribes into eternity. He can use you too!

  8. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

What splendor!! In order to receive such glory, we must overcome. Look past, get past, push back, all the troubles and remember your reward! Wow God!!

  9. 23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

    I’m dreaming of a city
where the lamb is the light
    No more crying there,
    there’ll be no more night
    He’ll dry every tear
    From our eyes
in the city where the lamb is the light.

I’m on my way to heaven, don’t you want to go

    I’m going there
    Yes I’m going there

Heaven, don’t you want To go?

  10. Revelation 21
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

There is no one like my Lord. Thank You.

  11. Revelation 21:3-4 [Amp] Then I heard a mighty voice from the throne and I perceived its distinct words, saying, See ! The abode of God is with men, and He will live ( encamp , tent) among them; and they shall be His people; and God shall personally be with them and be their God. [4] God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, no more hunger or thrist, neither shall there be anguish ( sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and former order of things have passed away. Wow want this be a beautiful day. Just think no more worries or cares about anything. Just praising and glorifying our Lord. God I fear you 100 times a day ! Have your altar ready for repentance.

    Revelation 21:2 – 5

    Heaven is my home!!!

GOD is always faithful and true!!

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
    John 14:1‭-‬4 KJV

  13. 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

There is coming a day that when we all get over yonder, when there will be no more pain, no more sorrow, and no more tears. We will have brand new bodies to behold the lamb of God. We will be walking on streets of Gold. Beholding all the wonder and amazement of a glorious heaven. There will be no more darkness and where the sin will be the light. We will gather around the throne to worship the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. There no one will ever grow old and we will forever live in a mansion on the hill.

I can’t wait till we shall behold the crystal sea and walk with the bride of christ for eternity.

I am reminded of the old song:

    There’s Coming a day
    When no heartaches shall come
No more tears to dim the eye
    ALl is peace forever more
    On that happy godden shore
What a day, glorious day that will be
What a day that will be
When my Jesus I shall see
When I look upon His face
the One who saved me by His grace
When He takes me by the hand
And leads me to the Promise Land
What a day, glorious day that will be
There will be no sorrow there
    No more burdens to bear
No more sickness and no more pain
    No more parting over there
    And forever I will be
With the One who died for me
What a day, glorious day that will be

    I love the Kingdom!

  14. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Can you imagine when that day comes there will be no sorrows or pain or loss. No night or sickness just love and light. It makes you long for that day that you will have eternal peace with the One who gave it all for us. Sometimes we/I take for granted what we have and should be inspired to push and do more for the Kingdom so others have a chance at that day. It really opens your eyes to outreach and loving people to God because when we are passing up the opportunity to witness or talk to someone about Jesus because we are intimidated or scared or nervous we are passing judgment on them unknowingly and that’s dangerous because you will be judged by that yourself. Be blessed today and tell someone about Jesus today!

  15. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

    We are the tabernacle.

When we receive the Holy Ghost, that is the evidence that God is dwelling inside of us. This is why we must have an alter that we go to and sacrifice at, because the tabernacle of the old testement had an alter. The reason to be baptized and foot washing , because they had the laver of water to wash themselves, this is the representation of the laver. Then we get to holy place where God dwelt, that is us today. God will dwell in the tabernacle that is prepared for Him. Seek ye First the Kingdom of God. How is your alter? Have you been baptized in Jesus name?

“Going to Heaven…Or is Heaven Coming to Earth?”

As crazy as it seems y’all, I know everyone thinks we are going to spend eternity in Heaven, but today’s blog high lights a few things worth mentioning.

verse:11 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

God will make a brand new earth. Then check out the next few verses…

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

The new Jerusalem will come down from heaven and will be established on the new earth…

Conclusion: While most people around the world think folks will live in eternity forever, the Word of God clearly reveals that God will set up His eternal Kingdom here on in a brand new earth. There will not be need for sun, moon, or stars because the Lamb will be the Light!

  17. 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

  18. 23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

No sun there is no need for the natural when you have the spiritual. See Gods Glory doesn’t blind you it has you staring into the Glory of God. Jesus is the light of our lives in all cases. In Heaven we will be in perfect. Everything our God does is to perfection. Thank you Jesus

  19. Revelation 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is a thirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

John 4:14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.

Rev. 1:8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, “says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

  20. Is the old hymn mistaken?

Some bright morning when this life is over,
    I’ll fly away
To that home on God’s celestial shore
    I’ll fly away

This hymn suggests a time that believers will spend eternity in some un-earthly heaven somewhere off in space, far away from this planet. Are we going to spend eternity somewhere off in space, wearing white robes, plucking harps, singing songs, and fluttering from cloud to cloud?

2 … new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven…
    10 … to a great and high mountain…

I believe that God will create a new earth from the ashes of this planet on which we shall live. Since God will make the new earth his dwelling place, and since where God dwells that is where heaven is, we will be in heaven while we are on the new earth.

  21. 22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

  22. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

There’s a lot of talk about new, New Heaven, New Earth, New Order, vs 5 in the NLT even states “I am making everything new”.

When we receive the Holy Ghost we are made NEW. And then we are made NEW again, when we reach the NEW Heaven! #holyghost2.0

  23. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Many times we fall and think we can’t get back up or get past our faults. But as i was reading he says we are overcomers and we can move forward. He is waiting till we surrender our lives to him.

  24. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

It stands out to me that this is when the tabernacle of God will be with man and he dwells with us. Scripture tells us in 1Cor 12:13 that we see through a glass darkly, then face to face; now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. We will have a new home, a new future and what wonders we will see and the best part is to be with the one who died for me and filled me with his precious Spirit.

  25. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

While on this earth , those filled with the Holy Ghost carry His spirit with them wherever they go. In that great day, that Spirit will be with us — God Himself, right before our very eyes – living and breathing. Life as we know it will be gone, and we will forever be with Jesus where there is no sorrow, no death, no crying, no pain.

What a forever that will be!!!

  26. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
    Revelation 21:8 KJV

It has always bothered me that “the fearful, and unbelieving” were at the top of this list of those deserving to be cast into hell. Haven’t we all been fearful at times? Don’t we all struggle to believe the promises of God when we are the ones going through the fire? Even John the Baptist had to wrestle with unbelief when his expectations and preconceptions came up empty. Are we as guilty as the whoremonger, the murderer, and the sorcerer when we wrestle with our doubts and fears? When we can’t manage the faith to be healed? When we struggle with having the boldness to be used of God? Is this the kind of “fearful” and “unbelieving” the Scripture is referring to? Let’s examine the words:

Fearful: Strong’s 1169 (deilos); from the root word “dread;” timid, cowardly, FAITHLESS; used of Christians who through cowardice give way under persecutions and apostatize.

Unbelieving: Strong’s 571 (apistos); opposite of root word “pistos” or “believer;” unfaithful, FAITHLESS, perfidious (deceitful and untrustworthy), without faith or trust (in God), infidel, incredulous, (actively) disbelieving, not to be trusted.

Notice that the core of both these words is faithlessness or of being without faith. “Without faith,” the Bible says, “it is impossible to please God.” It is faith that strengthens us to stand under persecution. It is faithlessness that causes cowardly retreat and denial. It is faith that moves us to live godly lives according to Biblical commands. It is faithlessness that provokes others to live without restraint in total self-indulgence and lack of conscience.

Wherefore, Dr. Marvin Treece states that “‘delois’ (cowards) and ‘apistois’ (unbelievers), encompass all sinners. No sinner should be able to feel that he has been left out,” (The Literal Word: Revelation, p.582).

In other words, rather than indicting those of us who struggle sometimes but keep pushing forward, these two words are actually the roots of other sins. All murdering, lying, idolatry, adultery, immorality, and apostasy originate with faithlessness, cowardice, and unbelief.

John the Baptist (like us) may have struggled with God’s plan; he may have needed reassurance in the midst of trial. However, he never recanted his faith in God, never changed his position on denouncing sin, and never backed down to save his own skin. There is a difference, then, between wrestling with whether or not God will heal me and with wrestling with whether there even is a god. There is a difference between timidly witnessing to others and in the cowardly refusal to be known as a Christian at all. There is a difference with struggling to lay hold of the promises of God and with living defiantly in unbelief that Jesus is God and that His Word and judgments are sure.

As long as we keep pressing forward, keep pushing past our doubts and fears to live faithfully in Christ, we shall be overcomers. Faith, that starts out the size of a mustard seed, is enough to grow into godliness and fortitude if we will feed and water it (through prayer, church attendance, and study of His Word). Faith only degrades into faithlessness through neglect. Therefore, to avoid the lake of fire, we must commit now to consistently growing our faith.

“…let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.”
    Hebrews 12:1‭-‬4 KJV

  27. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    OVERCOMER

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

The late Rev Tom F Tenney wrote a book titled “Keep the Main Thing, the Main Thing”. This verse today is a reminder to me to not become distracted by the “Things” in this world. JESUS is and always will be “The Main Thing” in every believers life.

Distractions usually begin with a hurt or pain, either physical, emotional and even spiritual. These hurts/pains cause the focus and attention of the afflicted to be moved from The Main Thing leading to spiritual setbacks that discourage and weaken the believer. This process causes believers to fall back to bad habits, undisciplined efforts which leads to sin and spiritual death.

    The word “overcometh”

3528. nikao; from 3529; to subdue (literally or figuratively): — conquer, overcome, prevail, get the victory.

3529. nike; apparently a primary word; conquest (abstractly), i.e. (figuratively) the means of success: — victory.

We learn from the original Greek definitions that overcometh indicates a continued or perpetual VICTORY over this world and sin. We must attain this to live eternally in The Kingdom of GOD, revealing the dire importance of Seeking FIRST The Kingdom of GOD.

    The benefits of an OVERCOMER:

    Inherit ALL Things
JESUS will be my GOD (creator, provider, protector)
I will be HIS son (responsibility, heir, family)

  28. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Throughout history and even in the present, mankind has always sought after the next “big thing”. The world we live in is in a constant state a change, searching for new technologies, new ways to lose weight, new fashion trends and the list could go on and on.

But man will never be satisfied until we are all made new in Christ!

Instead of seeking for the next “big thing” or the next new thing, this world needs to seek First for Jesus.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  29. ““But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars—their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.””
    ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It is clear that God doesn’t mess around when He clearly says He will send anyone who practice all the things listed on this verse.
None of this things will have place in heaven and it shouldn’t have place in our lives as we are now believers of the gospel. This things were wash away and have no place in our lives. We must make sure that we have no practice of this. Let us repent and ask God that if any of this is in our heart to forgive us. There is so much to loose and nothing good comes from all evil practice.

  30. 27 Nothing evil will be allowed to enter, nor anyone who practices shameful idolatry and dishonesty—but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Yes, we’ll enjoy the new heaven to live a wonderful life forever. We wont know any pain or sorrow. Makes you wonder though, for those who don’t make it, they will suffer pain, but will they suffer sorrow. They will be telling themselves, ” I should have listened”, ” I should have accepted Jesus”. But it will be to late. Accept Jesus, when the opportunity is there.

  31. I Love To Worship The Lord
If we are impressed at the care with which God created Eden to give Adam and Eve every opportunity to use each human capacity to the fullest we can only wonder how His creativity and grace will be expressed in shaping heaven for His glory and fulfillment in Him

  32. In the beginning in verse one it saw then I saw a new earth. I think that means that the earth changed and they got to know God.

  33. Revelation 21:7 (AMP), “He who OVERCOMES (the world by adhering faithfully to Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior) will inherit these things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.”

    1 John 5:4-5 (AMP)
    4) For everyone born of God is victorious and OVERCOMES the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and OVERCOMES the world – our (continuing and persistent) faith (in Jesus the Son of God).
    5) Who is the one who is victorious and OVERCOMES the world? It is the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus is the Son of God.

Who is the one who OVERCOMES? Who OVERCOMES this world?
The OVERCOMERS are the ones who have FAITH and BELIEVE that JESUS is the Son of God and HE is our Lord and Savior.

  34. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

If we will over this world and not fall to it He will be our God and we his kids. But for thoses who don’t follow him will be cast into outer darkness and lost forever. There will be no start overs no oh man I didn’t make it reset once our like our time is over it’s over we must live to the fullest for God. Not holding anything back.

  35. [Rev 21:3-4 KJV] 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

God Himself shall be with them…..Full STOP…That’s all we need right there. That’s heaven enough, God with us! Never mind the gates of pearl, streets of gold and foundations of precious stones, all we need is Jesus! This reminds me of a book I read called To Enjoy His Presence Forever. One main point it brings up is that the greatest loss in the Garden of Eden was not eternal life but the loss of fellowship and communion with the presence of God!
Yet God always provides more than enough for His children when it comes to all things!!!! I remember hearing Rev. Cleveland Becton preach while on a retreat in the beautiful mountains of Germany and Austria. He shared how when God made this world He didn’t just give us barely enough to live on but He provided such great majestic mountains, vast deep and wide oceans, forests, deserts, plant life, animal life in such magnanimous proportions so much more than man would ever need because that’s how good, magnificent, loving and lavishing our God is! So it is in heaven, it would be enough with just His presence but He gave us more. He gives such beautiful surroundings and then the promise of no more tears, no more death, no sorrow, no crying and no more pain….Only Jesus can do such things! Sure sounds like heaven to me! Glory to God!

  36. d God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Sorrow is for this lifetime but one day we will see Jesus and all our sorrow will vanish. It’s like labor pains they hurt they make you cry but you see that baby and its all worth it.

    Revelation 21:7‭-‬8 KJV

When we think of sin and those that will be thrown in the lake of fire we probably immediately think of murder, hate, all kinds of immorality and depravity, but the first being thrown into the lake are the fearful followed by the unbelieving. This should be a flag for us. There should not be any Christian follower of Christ that is afraid or is tormented by fear. The Word explicitly tells us that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power love and a sound mind. Fear has torment. Perfect love, Gods love casts out all fear. If you have fear then the only thing to infer is that you have not recieved Him. Also we must have Faith and Believe, for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. This may seem like things we may overlook but next time you feel intimidated or afraid to do something think on this. We can do All things, not on our flesh but through Christ which strengthens us.

  38. 22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

I think of the marriage of it all, the oneness of it. Not only will he live in us but we will live in him, for eternaty. His everlasting life is waiting and we get to bask in his glory forever and ever.

  39. 22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

The best services are when we are engrossed in the spirit of the Lord, and to think of it being ALL the time, WOW!

  40. 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

As it says here, there will be a new heaven and new earth. Heaven on earth without the sea. That’s why swimming is ungodly. There won’t be mixed bathing in Heaven either!

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

However, we could shout just for the simple reason that there won’t be any more pain, sorrow, or death in heaven as well. How could a person that knows the Truth decide to turn away from God knowing what we have to look forward too. How could you backslide over menial things that happen when you know the reward in the end? Isn’t it enough? Isn’t it more than enough?

  41. “And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true [they are accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy].””
    ‭‭REVELATION‬ ‭21:5‬ ‭AMP‬‬

God cannot lie, his words are true and accurate and will always come to pass! Hang on to what God has told you!!

  42. “And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.”
    ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:23-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

There is absolutely no darkness. Not from people. Not from night. There is only light, we he is the light. We will be addded as we are the light of the world because of him. All glory is his! There will be nothing to take any of his glory.

  43. 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

  44. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
