Isaiah 33
1 Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
2 O Lord, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
3 At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.
4 And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.
5 The Lord is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.
6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure.
7 Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.
8 The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.
9 The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.
10 Now will I rise, saith the Lord; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.
11 Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you.
12 And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.
13 Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might.
14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
16 He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
17 Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.
18 Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
19 Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.
20 Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.
21 But there the glorious Lord will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.
22 For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save us.
23 Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.

Our God is high and lifted up. In him we can put our trust. When things don’t go right, our trust is in the Lord. He will guide us through every situation and keep us. Our awesome God is righteous and glorious.
10 Now will I rise, saith the Lord; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.

What a awesome GOD.

you who are near, acknowledge my power!
14 The sinners in Zion are terrified;
trembling grips the godless:
“Who of us can dwell with the consuming fire?
Who of us can dwell with everlasting burning?”
15 Those who walk righteously
and speak what is right,
who reject gain from extortion
and keep their hands from accepting bribes,
who stop their ears against plots of murder
and shut their eyes against contemplating evil—
16 they are the ones who will dwell on the heights,
whose refuge will be the mountain fortress.
Their bread will be supplied,
and water will not fail them.
17 Your eyes will see the king in his beauty
and view a land that stretches afar.
18 In your thoughts you will ponder the former terror:
“Where is that chief officer?
Where is the one who took the revenue?
Where is the officer in charge of the towers?”
There will be a people that will stand up against the chaos in the world, even if they stand alone. They will eat of the goodness of the Lord. They will be provided for and taken care of by God.
I’m reminded of an older song – when the saints ho marching in. Oh Lord I want to be in that number, when the saints go marching in!
In order for that to happen., I must be in that number now!!
17 Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off
I shall see the King in His beauty,

Life presents many options each day. When we look at a situation, what do we see? Trouble or peace, Joy or sorrow, Dark or light, Good or evil.
BUT THERE…
WHERE?
15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;

When we Walk in the SPIRIT we see the King of Glory in HIS beauty. We see a PLACE of Broad Rivers and Streams. We see the POWER and GLORY of GOD.
When we Walk RIGHT, Live RIGHT, Think RIGHT and Talk RIGHT we find ourselves at the PLACE of Broad Rivers and Streams (Resources) of PEACE and PROVISION, HOPE and HELP.

-In other words, God is saying: “To get to them, you first have to go through Me!”
22. For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save us.
-He is our everything!
14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

Judgement is coming and it does not look to see your race, your location, nor your religion. Jesus will look at your heart, your intentions, and your mind (for sins begin there). I remember when I was a kid our elders will say: “be ready for the Master is coming “ The end times are here” but time went by and nothing happen. Now, it is me, that look at the times and starts saying “repent everyone of you and be baptized in Jesus Name so you may receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in other tongues” It is me that look upon the world and think to myself “it is worse than the times of Noah”. Be ready for the Bridegroom is coming and we MUST HAVE OIL IN OUR LAMP”!!! Judgement is coming for the righteous as well as the sinner and we must be ready to answer to Jesus.
Isaiah 33 : 2-3 [amp] O Lord be gracious to us; we waited [ expectantly] for You, Be the arm of your servants their strength and defense every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble.
[3] At the noice of the tumult [ caused by Your voice at which the enemy is overthrown] the peoples flee; at the lifting up of Yourself nations are scattered.
Ps. 34: Our inner selves wait ( earnestly) for the Lord; He is our help and our sheild.
According to this you and I must live right and do right so we can share Jesus with others.
Praise him in your troubles , Praise through your trails, Praise all day long.
Jesus your all we need.

Put all our trust in God he is in control no matter what situation you are in only he can can give us victory.

The Lord has many roles that he plays and people’s life but ultimately it comes down to being the judge or being the father. The Lord has established his ways multiple times and has made it clear all he expects in return is that relationship with him and remaining abstinent from evil ways. Those that refuse to allow his grace to cover them will face him as their judge but those who lean against him and hold to him for salvation and peace will find him to be that loving father and savior.
Isaiah 33:22, “For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.”
JESUS is our Judge.
JESUS is our Lawgiver.
JESUS is our King.
Put your Trust in HIM for all things, for HE is the only One who can Save you.

There is no match to the Lord of Lords. The Lord laughs at what the enemy thinks he can do. I pray that we each put our faith in Jesus today and we “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

People is listening to the marvelous things the Lord has done
People is hearing about judgment

15 “He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, He who despises the gain of oppressions, Who gestures with his hands, refusing bribes, Who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, And shuts his eyes from seeing evil:
16 He will dwell on high; His place of defense will be the fortress of rocks; Bread will be given him, His water will be sure.”
Time is running out! Live a righteous life by keeping your eyes fixed on Jesus! He is our shelter and fortress, our Bread of life and our Living waters so we will never thirst again.
“In a short time—just a little more than a year— you careless ones will suddenly begin to care. For your fruit crops will fail, and the harvest will never take place.”
Isaiah 32:10 NLT
Gods gotta get your attention some how. If you ain’t gonna focus on him. God is God and will do whatever it takes to get you to focus on his will. Be aware of what God needs, and he’ll help you, help him.
Our God is a consuming fire.
“The sinners in Jerusalem shake with fear. Terror seizes the godless. “Who can live with this devouring fire?” they cry. “Who can survive this all-consuming fire?””
Isaiah 33:14 NLT
Simply our God can build. And our God can destroy, he can take down the wicked and he give to the poor. He’ll put you in positions to minister and he can take you out even faster.
God will give you talents to use for his kingdom. But he’ll shut the doors of opportunities, because he’s not receiving the Glory.
Our God is true and just. Be aware of his power. Be aware of your calling. Our God is the consuming fire.

When we are in a right relationship with the Lord, we can be assured of an eternal rest with Him.
23 The enemies’ sails hang loose on broken masts with useless tackle. Their treasure will be divided by the people of God. Even the lame will take their share!

The enemy of our souls only gets as much leverage as we allow. This is something God has shown me. The more we work at being while and complete in Him- body, mind, and spirit- there are only so many footholds the enemy gets. And less that spirits can attach themselves to.
In that day he will be your sure foundation, providing a rich store of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the Lord will be your treasure.
Isaiah 33:6 NLT
Jesus, my rock and my treasure! When all else fails and fades away, God will remain. Put your trust and your faith in Him and one day we will see the glorious reward!

This goes right along with the message from last night of sowing and reaping. The prophet is rebuking them for messing with folks who were minding their own business. So because you messed with them, you are going to be spoiled. The principle of sowing and reaping is found throughout the scriptures.
Isaiah 30
Message translation
The answer’s simple:
Live right,
speak the truth,
despise exploitation,
refuse bribes,
reject violence,
avoid evil amusements.
This is how you raise your standard of living!
A safe and stable way to live.
A nourishing, satisfying way to live.
Raise our standard of Living .
This sounds like the Word spoken last night !
Clearly another confirmation of what God is calling us today. Praise is where our strength comes from.
Lord today I praise You and I will raise a higher standard of worship. You are my strength and my salvation.

The scripture states that he Lord is a strong tower for the righteous to run into it and they are safe. It also states that He will be the very present help in the time of trouble. When we are in dire need of help, we can approach the throne of grace in the time of trouble and obtain mercy. These are some of the attributes that are afforded to each person that is a child of God. He is willing to keep each of us safe from all harm and He will be the anchor that holds. The Christian that places their trust in him will never be lost.
But there is always the flip side of that coin, He will be a judge and rewarded of sentencing for all the sinful things one does if they do not ask for forgiveness. We will see God’s judgment reign on the just and unjust alike. It is up to each of us to make sure we keep our altars repaired and to make sure we use them daily. God gave his all for us and in return we have to give our all back to him, our love, our service, and most of all our lives. Just know that if God be for you then no one or nothing can come against you.

I see that God will provide for his people when they have separated themselves from the evil of the world around them. They have bread and water but most importantly, they see their King and can see there is a land far off- a place of rest for their souls…Heaven.

Time will come when evil will be no more and those who walk in righteousness with the Lord Jesus Christ will dwelt in peace and no more pain. Give him what little you have and he will multiply it a thousand times four with him we have everlasting life.
2But LORD, be merciful to us, for we have waited for you. Be our strong arm each day and our salvation in times of trouble.
We are not perfect, sin is part of our nature. Ask God for forgiveness daily, and praise him daily. Thank God for his mercy and grace. He’ll guard us against the enemy in times of trouble.

The Lord is our savior. There is no problem to great that our God cannot solve. When we abide by his word, we can do all things through him. Don’t let the trials of life bring you down. Let God take you to the next level in him. When we follow after God, we follow after absolute power.

The only way not to be deceived in the end times is to accumulate all the wisdom and knowledge of the Scriptures we can. Those who are not really familiar with the teachings in the Bible will be deceived. The strength of our salvation is in Jesus Christ who is the Word of God.
“The Lord will be our Mighty One. He will be like a wide river of protection that no enemy can cross, that no enemy ship can sail upon. The people of Israel will no longer say, “We are sick and helpless,” for the Lord will forgive their sins.”

The LORD JESUS is always on time, no matter where I find myself!

Jesus is gracious and we are waiting for Him . He is our salvation in and out of trouble.
Isa 33:22 For the LORD is our judge; the LORD is our lawgiver; the LORD is our king; he will save us.
Jesus is our judge, our lawgiver, and our God.
Isa 33:24 And no inhabitant will say, “I am sick”; the people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity. We shall be forgiven and our iniquity.

I will trust the Lord no matter what. The lord is righteous

May everyday that I live, I live for Jesus. Looking up for where I know my help comes from. Reading and keeping his word. For judgment will come to all of us.

All too often we overlook the smallest things, which have the greatest rewards, because the fear of the Lord is definitely a treasure..
24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.
This reminded me of the words of the psalmist on psalm 32
Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no guile.
Psalm 32:1-2 KJV
I belive one of the greatest blessings is to be forgiven. And that we owe it all to Jesus for he paid the price for all of our sins.
10 Now will I rise, saith the Lord; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.
The only name that we should be lifting higher over all, is His name! May no idol, spirit, or even human come before God. He is over all and deserves your all! In the scripture I put above it also states “I will lift up myself.” Let that sink in. We must never try to be or look like others, but follow in His image! I think you’re beautiful just the way you are! Don’t change for anyone, cause if you are changing for a person they don’t know neither do they deserve you! KNOW YOUR WORTH! I am a beautiful image in His eyes and that’s all that matters! I pray tonight that you are keeping your head held high and above all of the things that may try pushing you down, but you know that you are stronger and worthy of it all!!!

There is no enemy that can stand against the Lord no enemy will ever win against the Lord, so what makes you think that as a child of God and enemy can win against you? As we faithfully obey, and live for the Lord and his word any enemy that comes close to you will flee for God is protecting you always and you will rise in victory from your enemies. I pray we trust in the Lord at all times, for those battles you face are God making you stronger.

22 For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save us.
Do you honestly believe this and live by it?? He is our judge, our lawgiver, our king, and we know He will save us. Because if you do live by it then, you should know the next verse rings true as well.
24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.
We are forgiven. No need to say we are sick. . . For we know we are forgiven and saved by Him.
Verses 5-6 MSG “God is supremely esteemed. His center holds. Zion brims over with all that is just and right. God keeps your days stable and secure—salvation, wisdom, and knowledge in surplus, and best of all, Zion’s treasure, Fear-of-God.” We are washed and cleansed by the.blood of Jesus. Jesus you are the center that holds us together. Thank you Lord in all things.
Now Faith
“NOW I’m stepping in,” God says. “From now on, I’m taking over. The gloves come off. Now see how mighty I am. There’s nothing to you. …… ‘Who among us can survive this firestorm? Who of us can get out of this purge with our lives?’”
The answer’s simple: Live right, speak the truth, despise exploitation, refuse bribes, reject violence, avoid evil amusements. This is how you raise your standard of living! A safe and stable way to live. A nourishing, satisfying way to live. (Isaiah 33:10, 14-16 MSG)
I am reminded that God has come to take over at POFW. We are going into new territory and heights. And just like this scripture we must raise our standard of living. We must have eyes of faith to see the invisible which is the new territory and heights we’ve never seen before. It’s through faith that we will live right, speak the truth, despise exploitation, refuse bribes, reject violence, avoid evil amusements. Faith will transform our thinking and our lives.
And that, knowing the time, that NOW it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. (Romans 13:11 KJV)

4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
Our Lord Jesus, takes care of his children. I have had miracles in my life and Jesus has helped me in many situations. I could not make it without Jesus!
