Ezekiel 7

Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.

Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.

And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

Thus saith the Lord God; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.

An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.

The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.

Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.

And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the Lord that smiteth.

10 Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.

11 Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of their’s: neither shall there be wailing for them.

12 The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.

13 For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.

14 They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.

15 The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.

16 But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.

17 All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.

18 They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.

19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

20 As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.

21 And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.

22 My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.

23 Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.

24 Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.

25 Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.

26 Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.

27 The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the Lord.

  1. Ezekiel 7
They’ll know that I am God.’”

God today I pray for those who have went directly against the word of God.
Abandoning the things of God . The sinful ways are not going to go without punishment. My heart aches for those who have known the power of God yet have turned away. We’ve pled . We have led . Yet the choice is left in their hands. Lead us to those searching and longing for truth . Lead us to those who are like Cornelius ‘s and those sincerely searching. We must work for judgement is coming and nothing will change that .

  2. This chapter is captioned “Fate Has Caught Up with You”. Verse 1-4 says “God’s Word came to me, saying, “You, son of man—God, the Master, has this Message for the land of Israel: “‘Endtime. The end of business as usual for everyone. It’s all over. The end is upon you. I’ve launched my anger against you. I’ve issued my verdict on the way you live. I’ll make you pay for your disgusting obscenities. I won’t look the other way, I won’t feel sorry for you. I’ll make you pay for the way you’ve lived: Your disgusting obscenities will boomerang on you, and you’ll realize that I am God.’ It is very hard when you warn people about possible disasters/sins and they choose not to listen. This chapter describes our very world as it is today and how so many continue to be blinded by sin.

Ephesians 1:18-19 AMP says “And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the [a]hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the [b]saints (God’s people), and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength.” Same verses CEV “My prayer is that light will flood your hearts and that you will understand the hope that was given to you when God chose you. Then you will discover the glorious blessings that will be yours together with all of God’s people. I want you to know about the great and mighty power that God has for us followers. It is the same wonderful power he used.” We just heard about this power last night! Open the eyes of your heart to listen to the voice of God that is speaking and trying to warn you!

  3. 11. Their violence has grown into a rod that will beat them for their wickedness. None of these proud and wicked people will survive. All their wealth and prestige will be swept away. NLT

The more violence they committed, the bigger the rod grew; and now their own violence will beat them.

This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. …

  6. “The trumpet calls Israel’s army to mobilize, but no one listens, for my fury is against them all.
    Ezekiel 7:14 NLT

Similar to the last days when the trumpet sound and all we have not heard God will know and understand who God is by that time. Unfortunately by that time it will have been too late because it will have been in a place where they were warned it did not listen.. there will be no excuse for many many people because they have had a chance and we’ll have willing and turn away the gospel in the word of God

  7. Ezekiel 7: 25-26 ( amp) Distress, panic, and destruction shall come, and they ( of Judah) shall seek peace, and there shall be none.
    (26) Calamity shall come upon calamity, and rumor shall seek a vision of the prophet; and the last and instruction shall cease from the ( distracted) priest, and counsel from the ( dismayed) elders.
Ps 74: 9 ( amp) We do not see our symbols; there is no longer any prophet, neither does any among us know for how long.
Seek Jesus first , There you will find peace, you want find it anywhere else.
Seek him for direction and understanding of a vision of Hope and Love and Wisdom.
This chapter is warning us alot of destruction is coming where there is no peace..
    Seek the Kingdom First.
Lord pray that people will return to there first love and find peace.
    Hallelujah praise God.

  8. 19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

Money is not going to help you one bit when God begins to judge us for our iniquities!!! Not one person can escape the Devine Justice of God. So what can we do??? Simple repent and be baptized everyone of you and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with other tongues as the spirit gives you utterance. Follow God’s commandments, and love your neighbor as you love yourselves. Pray for your loved ones that are lost to return home and above all live without judgement.

  9. “26-27 Calamity will follow calamity; rumor will follow rumor. They will look in vain for a vision from the prophets. They will receive no teaching from the priests and no counsel from the leaders. The king and the prince will stand helpless, weeping in despair, and the people’s hands will tremble with fear. I will bring on them the evil they have done to others, and they will receive the punishment they so richly deserve. Then they will know that I am the Lord.””
    ‭‭
God had warned them what would happen and they choose not to repent. It sounds like our world today. Take heed to His warnings. Change your ways while you still can or feel the wrath of God upon you.

  12. LIVE – GIVE JESUS2
    THE DAY OF NO PEACE

25 Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.

We are BLESSED with a great promise as Born Again believers. As long as the church remains on earth, there is HOPE for PEACE to those that are FILLED with the Holy Ghost.

2 times the apostle speaks to the church:

Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

PEACE in the Holy Ghost, POWER in the Holy Ghost, JOY in the Holy Ghost, HOPE in the Holy Ghost.

What is it the CHURCH needs today?

    THE HOLY GHOST!

The LORD promised a day where there will be no PEACE left on earth:

Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

The LORD instructs us to not get involved with trying to get even with our adversaries or those that take advantage of us. The LORD has the day of vengeance already planned. Therefore we should live in PEACE until:

1Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Leave the grudges and conflicts to the LORD and walk in PEACE filled with the Holy Ghost and lets BE a POWER FILLED church in our 19th year.

  13. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus2
Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none. 26 Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.

It’s too late to seek God after judgement has already started. We need to seek the Lord while he might be found. Here in this chapter we find people finally humble themselves once judgement is being poured out. “Destruction cometh…and they shall seek peace.” Pride completely destroys people. Why couldn’t they seek peace before destruction? Why can’t we seek God before the issue ever happens?

  14. God had warned them what would happen and they choose not to repent. It sounds like our world today. Take heed to His warnings. Change your ways while you still can or feel the wrath of God upon you.

I love POFW LIVE Jesus give Jesus 2

  15. 9 And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the Lord that smiteth.

The wages of sin is death but we can repent before it is judged if we do it quickly. These people refused to repent and turn to God – their hearts were hard and they were set in their own ways. It’s God’s way or we will be lost. My prayer is that God would soften those hard hearts and open those closed minds so the they can hear the apostolic truth of salvation…receive it and obey it. Give us wisdom Lord, and the words to speak to those around us.

  16. Just a little more money…

19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

We are likely aware that Solomon was the wisest of men in the Bible. In today’s money, he would be worth more than $100 billion. He wrote in Prv 23:4, “Do not overwork to be rich; Because of your own understanding, cease!” Some may say, sure, a man with that much has no worry about money. Its people with no money that worry about money. I have thought that many times in my life. Even so, we cannot allow money to hold itself on a pedestal in our lives; it will become an idol that we are constantly feeding and attempting to grow.

More money may seem like the answer to your problems today, but it isn’t. After all, if you had more money, you’d only have a different set of issues to deal with. I know people who have an excess of wealth and no one to share it with because their focus was on monetary wealth rather than relationships and things that truly matter at the end of the day. Toys, homes, vehicles and other things are simply things that will rust and perish. As verse 19 describes, they threw their wealth in the street for all the good it could do them.

  17. 9 And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the Lord that smiteth.

God had given Israel, and is giving us the opportunity to turn it around. I believe if Israel would have repented and walked in the ways of the Lord, they could have avoided the wrath of God.

Many people are fearful that they have gone too far in this life when they followed the pleasures of life and allowed idolatry and sin to rule them. However, if they would just see that it would be so much better to meet a God of love, mercy and grace then it would be to meet the God of judgement. It’s never too late to turn our lives around and live for God.

  18. 4I will turn my eyes away and show no pity. I will repay you for all your detestable sins. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

Yes, the unrighteous will feel desperate and hopeless. Many would rather suffer the consequences than turn to God. If they would only let their pride down, and pray to God, and cast their cares to him. In time, they would see their hopeless situation turn, and blessings will soon come their way.

  19. 9…”Then you will know that it is I, the Lord…”

There are some things in this life that is completely undeniable that it was Jesus. From creation to the simple blessings of our daily life. Yet, there is a balance to everything. The correction from Jesus is completely undeniable as well. As I was reading this verse I was reminded that the Bible tells us to allow God to be the avenger. Proverbs 20:22.

In all things in this life, good or bad, ugly or beautiful, praise or correction, I pray we understand that with God in control of it all it will be the best possible outcome.

  20. Son of man, this is what the Sovereign Lord says to Israel: “The end is here! Wherever you look— east, west, north, or south— your land is finished. No hope remains, for I will unleash my anger against you. I will call you to account for all your detestable sins. I will turn my eyes away and show no pity. I will repay you for all your detestable sins. Then you will know that I am the Lord. “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Disaster after disaster is coming your way! The end has come. It has finally arrived. Your final doom is waiting! O people of Israel, the day of your destruction is dawning. The time has come; the day of trouble is near. Shouts of anguish will be heard on the mountains, not shouts of joy. Soon I will pour out my fury on you and unleash my anger against you. I will call you to account for all your detestable sins. I will turn my eyes away and show no pity. I will repay you for all your detestable sins. Then you will know that it is I, the Lord, who is striking the blow.”
    ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭7:2-9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God is making it clear that He is not angry with the Jews just to be angry; He is angry because of their sins.  This repetition also makes it clear that the Jews will have to answer for their sinful choices. Just like we have to answer for ours.

  21. 9 And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the Lord that smiteth.

If only everyone who believes or not would read this chapter and understand that although God is a loving and forgiving God, He will run out of patience and His wrath will not be pretty at all! I think most people do not take the Lord seriously and they will be shocked and confused and bewildered when they witness this side of our Lord. We, His children, do not call Him a might God for no reason!

  22. Ezekiel 7:19-20 (AMP)
    19) They will fling their silver into the streets and their gold will be (discarded) like something unclean; their silver and their gold shall not be able to save them in the day of the wrath of the LORD. These (things) cannot satisfy their soul nor fill their stomachs, for they have become their stumbling block and source of sin.
    20) As for the beauty of (gold for) ornaments, they turned it to pride and from it made of their repulsive things (idols) and of their vile things. Therefore I will make it an unclean thing to them.

1 Timothy 6:10a says, “For the love of money is the root of all evil:…”
It was their silver and gold that became their stumbling block and source of sin. They turned it into idols.
Be careful if God blesses you with monetary value. Make sure it doesn’t become an idol in your life.

    1 Timothy 6:9-12 & 17-19
    9) But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
    10) For the love of money is the root of all evil; which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
    11) But thou, O man of God, flee these things: and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
    12) Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called; and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

    17) Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
    18) That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
    19) Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Trust In The Living God and not in uncertain riches!

  23. Earlier 7

20 They tried pride in their beautiful jewelry and used it to make their detestable idols. They made it into vile images, therefore I will make it a thing unclean for them.

The people had sinned horribly when they made idols out of treasures from the temple and worshipped what they had made! Worshipping anything but our Lord is so wrong.
Thank you Jesus for this day.

  24. “The king and the prince will stand helpless, weeping in despair, and the people’s hands will tremble with fear. I will bring on them the evil they have done to others, and they will receive the punishment they so richly deserve. Then they will know that I am the Lord.””
    ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭7:27‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The things that were once worshipped and valued will be proven to be of no value and no power. You are God alone!

  25. v And mine eye shake not spare thee, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

The fact that people did not respond to the warning is more a commentary on human self-will than on the efficacy of God’s warning
The Church is preparing for a coming judgment, and there is plenty of room .The door of salvation remains open.

  26. 4 And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

Said it twice, again in verse 9… He sees it all. He sees us all. There is no exception to what God sees and will one day judge. Be mindful everyday to please the Lord above all else! In the end it is only His Word that matters!!

  27. 19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

It’s better to be GOD side then to get the judgement that he put .
    Thank You Jesus!

  28. 27 The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the Lord.

There is only one God and his name is Jesus. When he declares that something is going to be done, then it shall come to pass. We must not question God in what he has planned because he knows what he is doing. We may not understand everything that is happening, but if we trust the Lord with all of our heart, he will direct our paths.

  29. “I will turn my eyes away and show no pity. I will repay you for all your detestable sins. Then you will know that it is I, the Lord, who is striking the blow.”
    ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭7:9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

You can go time and time again with sinning and thinking you are getting away with it however the lord is always watching. There is that saying you can run but you can’t hide. There will come a time when he will show that he is going to show who is boss. It’s time out for playing games with him. We must take his word seriously and show everyone else that continuing in their mess is not going to end on the way they think it is.

  30. The king and the prince will stand helpless, weeping in despair, and the people’s hands will tremble with fear. I will bring on them the evil they have done to others, and they will receive the punishment they so richly deserve. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”
    Ezekiel 7:27 NLT

Yes God judges sin and every one that sows evil will reap judgement and chastisement. And that way the Lord’s shows people who he is. However there are alos times that God allows things to transpire in your life that he may show you who He is.

  31. “Even if the merchants survive, they will never return to their business. For what God has said applies to everyone— it will not be changed! Not one person whose life is twisted by sin will ever recover.”
    ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭7:13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

For what God has said applies to everyone. Just as God gave out punishment for sin to everyone, He gives out eternal life to everyone. I thank God He is not a respecter of person but loves us all and died for us all.

  32. 14 They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereo

His return is coming soon, and we must all be ready. We have to do as instructed in the word. I pray tonight that you are doing all that it takes to make it to heaven, so we all can make it to the same place!!!

  33. “Even if the merchants survive, they will never return to their business. For what God has said applies to everyone— it will not be changed! Not one person whose life is twisted by sin will ever recover.”
    ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭7:13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

No matter what God will never pick and choose, he will never like someone better than someone else. We cannot be jealous of what someone else is getting blessed with while your in a situation and feel left out. Jealousy is never the right way to head. God blesses those who remain faithful and those who show him that they will do anything for him, but those who turn against him and speak against him they will suffer in punishment. No matter what God will always keep his word the same for everyone and everything. I pray tonight that we choose the path with God, choose to give your life to him, for it will always be the right decision.

  34. 11 Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of their’s: neither shall there be wailing for them.

Violence is a terrible thing. It provokes an heir and a certain attitude. But the scripture is right on when it says that, “. . . let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.” When both by parties are in the wrong, there is no room for “he said, she said.” When both by parties are in the wrong, there is no room for pity parties or the occasional “ . . . I told you, so. . .” Be careful in who you let influence you as well, “. . .the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, . . .”

There was no running from knowing who was in control. We have to remind ourselves who we’re gonna give the reigns too. We can give them to Jesus or he can just take them. I guess it’s wise to say it would also be good to know the acts of the terribleness of God as well as his goodness. Basically knowing he’s capable of getting the point across
