Ezekiel 38
1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
3 And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.
10 Thus saith the Lord God; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord God; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?
15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
17 Thus saith the Lord God; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that my fury shall come up in my face.
19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord God: every man’s sword shall be against his brother.
22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
The POFW Daily Bible Reading 
18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that my fury shall come up in my face.
When Israel is living in apparent peace and security due to its unwalled city as it is unwalled in this modern times, a great war will ensue. War is coming in these last days, in which there will be the greatness military forces ever seen against such a small country. However, Israel will prevail due to the intervention of God. The message in between the lines is that salvation equals Jesus plus nothing.
Ezekiel 38: 7-8 ( amp) You, [ Gog] he prepared yes,prepare yourself, you and all your companies that are assembled about you, and you be a guard and a commander for them.
( 8) After many days you shall be visited and mustered
[ For service ] ; in latter years you shall go against the land that is restored [ from the ravages of the sword ,where people are gathered out of many nations upon the mountains of Israel,which had been a continual of waste; but it’s [ people] are brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell securely, all of them.
Gog is a symbolic name,standing for the leader of the world powers autagonosiic to God.
Everything that he did was a waste, and a evil plan.
You should get yourself ready and prepare to be used by God at any given moment.
God is your only protection.
18 “And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord God, “that My fury will show in My face.
23 Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.”
Every living creature will know the power and greatness of God. Nothing is equal or can compare.
23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
Every nation will confess that Jesus Is Lord! What a day that will be.

That at the same time, shall things come into thyme mind

I thank the Lord for His word, because now I know that I do t have to entertain any negative, evil thoughts
Now I know that the Lord has giving me the power and knowledge of his word to be able to cast down anything
That is not of God.
It wasn’t like that many years ago….
I thank God for His Holy Spirit, because without it
I don’t where I would be today( crazy probably..)
I must read His word daily
I must know what he says in many different matters

For deliverance in my life.
It seems Gog represents those that blatantly oppose God. And almost without effort they are defeated because they insistent in coming against God and Is people. God lets them know of the destruction about to befall them.
“Get ready; be prepared! Keep all the armies around you mobilized, and take command of them.
Ezekiel 38:7 NLT
Sometimes God takes the battle from us and fights for us. Other times God tells us to gear up and get ready to fight because we will see a victory. Well you can find scripture to support both on they respect to vacation, in the end God chooses how the battle is fought. God’s way is unorthodox but ultimately it comes down to whether we set back and let God fight it for us or we gear up for battle. And the only way to know either one is to be obedient to his word and to know his voice for the occasion. We don’t want to sit back and let God find our battle when it’s something that he told us he would give us victory and we don’t want to go in and fight when he is going to fight for us.

The Kingdom of Heaven is GREATER than the kingdom of Magog
Wow! Russia and company are gonna attempt to wreak havoc on the people of Israel in the last days. While I realize some of this prophecy is fulfilled, the rest is yet to come. Regardless of when Russia might attack in the near future, one thing is sure… God will deliver
19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

The destruction of the enemies of God’s people reminds us of Lord’s promises in Isaiah 54:17: “ no weapon formed against you shall prosper… This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord.”

When the enemy thinks that he has the upper hand over the people of GOD, It is then when GOD will show himself mighty!!!!! Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus!!! You will always make my enemy your footstool.

God works in miraculous ways, some might believe that God can only work through them if they are in church but that’s not the case. God used a donkey, what makes you think he can not use the ones that are lost to bring souls to church.

Verse 23 CEV “I will do these things to show the world that I, the Lord, am holy.” Same verse AMP “Thus I shall magnify Myself and demonstrate My greatness and sanctify Myself, and I will be recognized and will make Myself known in the sight of many nations; they will know [without any doubt] that I am the Lord.”’ 1 Kings 8:60 AMP says “so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God; there is no one else.” Psalm 86:8-10 MSG “There’s no one quite like you among the gods, O Lord, and nothing to compare with your works. All the nations you made are on their way, ready to give honor to you, O Lord, Ready to put your beauty on display, parading your greatness, And the great things you do—God, you’re the one, there’s no one but you!” Know Him, GREATER!

Sounds like last days. God will protect Israel
(38: 17-23)
While Gog is not referred to by name in other O.T. passages ,there are many indications of a final battle in which Israel’s enemies are destroyed by God. Among them are (Deut.30:7) (Isa.26:20-21) and(Jer.30:18-24) . The direct intervention by God in a clearly supernatural way both vindicates His role as Judge of the universe, and His faithfulness to the ancient covenant promises given Abraham.
Whoever the final enemy is our present help is God.

The prophet Ezekiel has established himself as through these recent chapters as the “ALARM WARNING” prophet. Every chapter seems to incliude some strong warning about the judgement of GOD.
Those that have been used in the prophetic or prophesy realm can testify that prophesy is a compelling forceful word that is has GREATER urgency than our own personal words and that a prophesy of Blessing and Favor is much easier to deliver than a harsh warning such as Ezekiel delivers here.
What came to mind as I read the WORD is the response of Ezekiel to have FAITH TO SPEAK from the influence and voice that is GREATER. JESUS will eventually hold the attention of the world and I seek to be a part of HIS MISSION.
I pray that JESUS opens our eyes, ears and hearts to receive revelation that HE is GREATER in our lives and that HE has chosen us to use us and make us vessels for HIS Kingdom.

Another reminder of who really is in control, it doesn’t matter who your daddy is or where you’re from. You could have the whole world but when God decides to do something you better hope you’re on the winning side.

The power of His glory and His presence is overwhelming. If all of creation worships and shakes in reverence to His power, how much stronger should our desire be to willingly adore and serve the King of kings!
Ezekiel 38:18-23 (NLT)
18) But this is what the Sovereign LORD says: When Gog invades the land of Israel, my fury will boil over!
19) In my jealousy and blazing anger, I promise a MIGHTY SHAKING in the land of Israel on that day.
20) All living things — the fish in the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, the small animals that scurry along the ground, and all the people on earth — will quake in terror At My Presence. Mountains will be thrown down; cliffs will crumble; walls will fall to the earth.
21) I will summon the sword against you on all the hills of Israel, says the Sovereign LORD. Your men will turn their swords against each other.
22) I will punish you and your armies with disease and bloodshed; I will send torrential rain, hailstones, fire, and burning sulfur!
23) In this way, I will show My Greatness and Holiness, and I will make Myself known to all the nations of the world. Then they will know that I AM THE LORD.
One day soon, there is going to be a MIGHTY SHAKING from God upon this earth. All Creation Will Know HIS GREATNESS and HIS HOLINESS, and They Will Know That HE IS THE LORD, THE ONE TRUE LIVING GOD!!

PRAISE HIM NOW – DON”T WAIT!!
13But Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish will ask, ‘Do you really think the armies you have gathered can rob them of silver and gold? Do you think you can drive away their livestock and seize their goods and carry off plunder?’
We can ask ourselves several questions. Do you think you’ll get away with that? Or this? No you won’t get away with it. You can have people fooled but not God. So live righteous and you won’t have to ponder questions about yourself.
23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
Our God is still an awesome God. If you’re ever in doubt, pray to the Lord and he will show you the way. Sometimes it’s not easy to accept what God has to say, but just know it’s for your good. He is the only one that can bring you out of your trouble and keep you out of trouble.
Ezekiel 38
22 I will execute judgement on him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfer on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him.
23 And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.
What does it take to know the Lord? What does it take to believe in Him? Having His judgement and wrath come upon you? I pray people will know our Lord and be righteous before plagues come upon them! People must open their eyes now before it is too late.

16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
It might seem as though Israel finally got a moment of peace when suddenly opposition comes to rise against them. However, God has a plan in motion and it’s two fold. So that Gods people will witness his power and for Gog and all of Magog to know him and his wrath. This won’t be Israel’s last run in with Magog though. Like Egypt or Babylon, Magog represents heathens and wickedness of the world. In Revelations they will be mentioned again in reference to his people turned to the world during the 3 1/2 years out of the 7 year end time. I believe the purpose of reading it now is to reveal that if God can deliver Israel from their opposition here then He we can trust he will do it again.
Ezekiel 38

God is a jealous God .
It is time to put Him before anything or anyone.
Prophecy will be fulfilled and God is going to pour out His wrath . We must pray for every nation that they will have the revelation of who
Jesus Christ is.
Deuteronomy 6:15 ESV
For the Lord your God in your midst is a jealous God—lest the anger of the Lord your God be kindled against you, and he destroy you from off the face of the earth.
Ezekiel 38:20
All living things—all the fish, birds, animals, and people—will quake in terror at my presence. Mountains will be thrown down; cliffs will crumble; walls will fall to the earth.
There is power and healing in the presence of God
“and you will attack my people Israel, covering their land like a cloud. At that time in the distant future, I will bring you against my land as everyone watches, and my holiness will be displayed by what happens to you, Gog. Then all the nations will know that I am the Lord.”

Nothing and no one can stand against Jesus. He knows all, created all, and I pray is in us all. We are connected to The King. He has no limits and all power. And because we serve a God that is greater, we don’t have to fear what situations may come our way because God is in control. Thank You Jesus!

Truly there are people that have never heard a scripture before, or at least recognize that they have. And they shall know that He is the Lord. OK so we know that he will pour out of his Spirit upon all flesh in the last days. The task for us them becomes to let them know and gather them. We then become a walking letter, a scripture if you will, of those that have never encountered the word of God and the gospel. I am reminded of the book of Revelations where it says that they overcame by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony and they loved not their lives… thus we must daily think how our lives, our actions are preaching, proclaiming about the hope that is within us. Yes God can and will use who ever and whatever, but he is also partnering with his body, the church, to accomplish his will. There are many voices out there, and many false prophets shall rise leading people to deception. May we stand bold for truth and be the light that guides people to Jesus who is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Could you imagine not knowing that Jesus Christ is Lord of all, some people think they have power over this life, but the truth is all power in heaven and earth belong to God, for in him we live and move and have our being. He is Lord of all, so why dont we just magnify and glorify the one that is power, for he will deliver us from every situation. Thank you Jesus for never stop working.

He is the same yesterday, today, and forever more. God doesn’t change. We as the people in flesh change. We should only be changing to fit the more of a better perspective in Gods eyes! I pray tonight that you don’t change for others but change for better for your relationship with God!!!

The Lord is our only true God, who has all the power and can do all things. Nothing in this world can stop him, and as we are his children as we let him grow in us and we grow our relationship with him he will never let anything overcome us, we will have the strength to overcome any battle we face. When we live faithfully for the Lord there is no need for us to be living in fear, we need to put our trust in him for no enemy can bring you down they will only make themselves lower and you will rise higher. I pray tonight that we never doubt the Lord for he has the power to do all, and defeat any enemy and always protect his children.

Jesus creator and ruler overall and all His creations shall bow and declare of His greatness. There’s none that is greater nor above or beside. He reigns forever victoriously. Jesus is above all things and He’s the ruler of all. So why should His people worry of trouble when He Has all power and is in control. Let always remember how great and mighty is our God.

A shaking in the land . . . Don’t mess with my God!! Once upset or pushed a shaking. . . A shaking in the land!! When you go up against what you don’t

Gods grace gives us time to turn towards Him. I’m the event we refuse to do so we will experience His wrath and the greatness of His shaking. We often have to just start the work of recovery and shake ourselves before He starts the shaking. Trust me you would rather shake yourself than to experience His shaking.
