Daniel 11

Also I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him.

And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.

And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.

And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.

And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king’s daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.

But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail:

And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.

So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land.

10 But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress.

11 And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand.

12 And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it.

13 For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches.

14 And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall.

15 So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand.

16 But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.

17 He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.

18 After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him.

19 Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.

20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.

21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.

25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.

26 Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.

27 And both of these kings’ hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

29 At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.

30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.

31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.

35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

  1. And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.
    Daniel 11:33 KJV

It is not only our privilege to share the gospel with the world but it is also our honor and responsibility to share what we have been blessed with with those that are in desolation and in need of Christ. This maybe at a different time but God still holds us accountable for what we know and what we do with it. For when we face the Lord and stand before him for all that we have lived we would want to have done everything we could to assure that every person that we have been given charge over has been offered and explained this wonderful Gospel of Jesus Christ

  2. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

The devil attempts to exterminate the Jew to prevent the coming messiah. However God’s plan eill prevail with those that remain faithful and look to the coming of Jesus.

  3. 32 NLT “He will flatter and win over those who have violated the covenant. But the people who know their God will be strong and will resist him.”
    ‭‭
Sheep will know the voice of their shepherd. “The Lord is my shepherd.” When you have a personal relationship with your Shepherd you will know His voice and He will know you.
Psalm‬ ‭100:3‬ ‭KJV “Know ye that the LORD he is God: It is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.”
    ‭‭

  4. Verses 32-35 AMP “With smooth words [of flattery and praise] he will turn to godlessness those who [are willing to] disregard the [Mosaic] covenant, but the people who [are spiritually mature and] know their God will display strength and take action [to resist]. They who are wise and have spiritual insight among the people will instruct many and help them understand; yet for many days some [of them and their followers] will fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by plunder. Now when they fall they will receive a little help, and many will join with them in hypocrisy. Some of those who are [spiritually] wise and have insight will fall [as martyrs] in order to refine, to purge and to make those among God’s people pure, until the end time; because it is yet to come at the time appointed [by God].” These verses spoke to me about our maturity. There comes a time that we need to stand, grow up and be GREATER. Hebrews 5:11-14 NLT verses are captioned “A Call to Spiritual Growth” and say “There is much more we would like to say about this, but it is difficult to explain, especially since you are spiritually dull and don’t seem to listen. You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word.[c] You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right. Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong.”

  5. I love POFW LIVE JESUS GIVE JESUS2 GREATER!12 And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it.

13 For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches.
Those choices always make a difference!

  6. Daniel‬ ‭11:10‬ ‭KJV
“But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress.”
    ‭‭‬‬
    Definition of stirred up
1 : to cause (someone) to feel a strong emotion and a desire to do something The speech stirred up the crowd.

If some of us can just get stirred up in their spirit about revival and the harvest. We can spread it like wild fire everywhere we go. It’s time for us to be the church and be selfless. We need to open our eyes and see that there’s a world being lost and is waiting for someone to be stirred up and assemble an army for his kingdom.

  7. The Living Bible
    vs-33
Those with spiritual understanding will have a wide ministry of teaching in those days. But they will be in constant danger, many of them dying by fire and sword, or being jailed and robbed.
I am sure this is going on right now especially in other parts of the country. As time gets closer to the Second Coming Christians will be sought after and killed.

  8. GREATER
    DO YOU KNOW HIM?

32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

The necessary quality for VICTORY in The Kingdom of GOD and to experience GREATER Glory of the LORD JESUS is to KNOW him.

The WORD of GOD is clearly not simply stating that we should know who HE is. BUT to KNOW HIM. To have intimate knowledge of HIS deity, ability and love. To KNOW HIM means to be intimate with JESUS. To know HIS desires, likes, will and to serve HIM is a honorable and respectful way.

Anyone that can read can quote scriptures, but those that do KNOW their GOD will be STRONG and do GREATER.

  9. 21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

Be careful of those that come “peaceably” but do not speak the same as we do and do not believe the fullness of truth. They come to destroy and tear down, to bring division.

We must guard our hearts and minds against distractions that the enemy would send our way to bring discord and break the bond of unity the we are experiencing.

  10. 32 And such as so wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flattering: but the people that do know their God, shall be strong and do exploits.

  11. Daniel 11: 32 ( amp) And such as violate the covenant he shall pervert and seduce with flatteres; But the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall firm, and do exploits[ for God].
God is my shepherd , His sheep knows his voice!
Through a personal relationship with him, Everyday praying and reading and studying his word .
There are many coming that we need to teach them about the Lord and his desires.
I love you Jesus and I thank you for your word.

  12. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits

When you know God, you can find strength. God gives his people strength to come to conquer things in their life. We have more power then we give ourselves credit for. We just need to learn how to use it. God Wil lead us to where he wants us to go if we would just yield to him.

  13. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits

Even though the people were being persecuted, they would be strong and accomplish great things because they knew God.

  14. The Kingdom of God is GREATER

These verses clearly speak of the upcoming antichrist setting up his kingdom. One thing we can realize is the fact that the antichrist won’t have world domination easy. There will be many nations fighting against him when he takes over Israel. As you read this chapter, you can agree it won’t be a cake walk for the devil.

  15. Daniel 11:32-35 (NLT)
    32) He will flatter and win over those who have violated the covenant. But the people who know their God will be strong and will resist him.
    33) Wise leaders will give instruction to many, but these teachers will die by fire and sword, or they will be jailed and robbed.
    34) During these persecutions, little help will arrive, and many who join them will not be sincere.
    35) And some of the wise will fall victim to persecution. In this way, they will be refined and cleansed and made pure until the time of the end, for the appointed time is still to come.

While we as Leaders are instructing and teaching others about JESUS – His Word – His Plan Of Salvation, we must remember, we will be persecuted. 2 Tim. 3:12 says, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” But we must remember too that the persecution is not there to hurt us, but to benefit us – to refine us, to cleanse us, to make us pure, to purge us and make us white (kjv).
Remember: JESUS is coming back for a church that is without spot and blemish – white!

So Help Us JESUS To Be STRONGER and GREATER!!

  16. Daniel 11

We must know God through His word. The highest knowledge we can attain is personal knowledge of God. We can know God through His word. As in Acts 2:38 repent and be baptized every one in the name of Jesus Christ and you will receive the gift of the holy spirit.
If we did not know His word, we wouldn’t know what was said in Acts to be saved.
Thank you Jesus for this day.

  17. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits

He is our strength. We should be going to him for everything most importantly our problems. He will strengthen each and everyone of us if we just commit to His word. I pray tonight that we are doing what it takes to get the strength and wisdom that we need from Him!!!

  18. “He will flatter and win over those who have violated the covenant. But the people who know their God will be strong and will resist him.”
    ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭11:32‬ ‭NLT‬‬

If you are truly committed to serving your god nothing will convert you. When you have god deep down on the inside regardless of what enemy tries to come at you, you will resist the enemy because you know who your god is and what he can do for you. Stay strong in the lord and make sure your relationship with him is right because there are going to be things that try and corrupt your spirit and if you aren’t full of his spirit and know the truth it will be easy to fall into the trap of the enemy. Keep your eyes upon the one true living god.

  19. The king will do as he pleases, exalting himself and claiming to be greater than every god, even blaspheming the God of gods. He will succeed, but only until the time of wrath is completed. For what has been determined will surely take place.”
    ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭11:36‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    God’s purpose will be accomplished.

  20. 32 And such as so wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flattering: but the people that do know their God, shall be strong and do exploits.

There’s no other name I know! I am grateful everyday to be able to call upon the name of Jesus!

  21. “He will flatter and win over those who have violated the covenant. But the people who know their God will be strong and will resist him.”
    ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭11:32‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When God is truly the one you are living for, when you are so in love with him and his word, you know that no matter what you face you will overcome it for God will not let you fail to the enemy. God will always win against the enemy so what makes you think God will let the enemy overcome you? I pray tonight that we grow in God more and more daily, that you seek him and his word everyday no matter what you are facing in life, for it is him that will help you overcome any battle! Without God you’re an easy target for the enemy…

  22. And both of these kings hearts shall be to do mischief and they shall speak lies at one table but it shall not prosper for yet the end shall be at the time appointed

They are saying that both of the kings hearts will be broken and harmed. They have been harmed and don’t know what to do with it so they hurt other people and won’t let god fox then

  23. 21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

Not the rightful owner but the sly tongue ,those nice and pretty words got him thr kingdom…..KINGDOM!!! The enemy comes in like a flood BUT GOD RAISES UP A STANDARD!!! WE HAVE DISCERNMENT!!! HALELUJAH!!! Let’s not be deceived

  24. 32. He will flatter and win over those who have violated the covenant. But the people who know their God will be strong and will resist him. NLT

Once you have violated the covenant, you are weakened and have made yourself vulnerable to falling for flattery. Instead, know God and gain strength to resist going down the slippery slope of ease in Zion.

  25. 32 NLT “He will flatter and win over those who have violated the covenant. But the people who know their God will be strong and will resist him.”
Keep the word in your heart that’s what David said. There might come a day where our bibles will be forbidden and we won’t be able to hold onto them. We got to have this word in our heart if it’s in our heart who could take that away?

  26. Daniel 11:36
The king will do as he pleases, exalting himself and claiming to be greater than every god, even blaspheming the God of gods. He will succeed, but only until the time of wrath is completed. For what has been determined will surely take place.

Jesus we exalt thee. Be exalted Jesus is greater and above all things. There is only one God.
    Thank you Jesus

  27. 41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

He will stretch out his hand, giving power, giving treasures and priceless worth. Whose team are you on?? Whose team should you be on?? Whose reality will you believe and follow?

  28. 35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

There is a season and time for everything. There is an apology time. Time is something that we struggle with for we do not quite understand the times of God. Yet his Word tells me that everything is beautiful in his time. Not gonna lie, it’s hard to wait. Even worse to wait and not know until when. Imagine the promises that many in the Bible recieved. Abraham took years to see one son and he was promised a nation, a great and unumerable people. The thing that we need to learn is that God doesn’t have or exist in the space of time. And our hearts and minds need to learn to rest in him while we wait and serve, and belive. There is an appointed time and if he said it, it will come to pass.

  29. “He will stop between the glorious holy mountain and the sea and will pitch his royal tents. But while he is there, his time will suddenly run out, and no one will help him.”
    ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭11:45‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We all have a dream we are following to achieve. We all have an idea of what our end goal would look like as our dreams become reality. But more often than not the journey to reach our goal and the end result don’t match up with what we think could have happened. Only God knows both the end result and the journey. I pray we trust in Him and have apostolic confidence that He can do any thing. Thankyou Jesus!

  30. 43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

This is again why prayer is so important. Daniel would not have received any of this information had he not prayed!

Jesus thank You for prophecy. Thank You for vision, insight, and Your Guiding Hand.

  31. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

We heard last night that God uses the pressures of life to accomplish in us and for us his will. This will be true during these last days as we reach and teach many who desire to come to God. What did Sis Vesta Magnum say at BOTT? You can’t threaten me with Heaven!

  32. 1I have been standing beside Michaela to support and strengthen him since the first year of the reign of Darius the Mede.

Support one another, support your loved ones, support your spouse and encourage them. Lead them to God, to serve in God’s Kingdom. Be in unity at home, at work, and at church.

  33. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

We must know our true God and His word to stand up against the wicked and corrupt world that we live in. They, the corrupt will use flatteries and promises to cause our fall, we must stand on the word of God to know the truth. It is our responsibility to teach others that are being lured into the lies that would cause their eternal demise. Instructing them in the way of our Lord and how His way is the only way to eternal life with Him.
