2 Chronicles 9

1 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.

And Solomon told her all her questions: and there was nothing hid from Solomon which he told her not.

And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built,

And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the Lord; there was no more spirit in her.

And she said to the king, It was a true report which I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom:

Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: for thou exceedest the fame that I heard.

Happy are thy men, and happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.

Blessed be the Lord thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the Lord thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.

And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones: neither was there any such spice as the queen of Sheba gave king Solomon.

10 And the servants also of Huram, and the servants of Solomon, which brought gold from Ophir, brought algum trees and precious stones.

11 And the king made of the algum trees terraces to the house of the Lord, and to the king’s palace, and harps and psalteries for singers: and there were none such seen before in the land of Judah.

12 And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside that which she had brought unto the king. So she turned, and went away to her own land, she and her servants.

13 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold;

14 Beside that which chapmen and merchants brought. And all the kings of Arabia and governors of the country brought gold and silver to Solomon.

15 And king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten gold: six hundred shekels of beaten gold went to one target.

16 And three hundred shields made he of beaten gold: three hundred shekels of gold went to one shield. And the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.

17 Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold.

18 And there were six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, which were fastened to the throne, and stays on each side of the sitting place, and two lions standing by the stays:

19 And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps. There was not the like made in any kingdom.

20 And all the drinking vessels of king Solomon were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold: none were of silver; it was not any thing accounted of in the days of Solomon.

21 For the king’s ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Huram: every three years once came the ships of Tarshish bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.

22 And king Solomon passed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.

23 And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, that God had put in his heart.

24 And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and raiment, harness, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.

25 And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.

26 And he reigned over all the kings from the river even unto the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt.

27 And the king made silver in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that are in the low plains in abundance.

28 And they brought unto Solomon horses out of Egypt, and out of all lands.

29 Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat?

30 And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.

31 And Solomon slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.

THE MISSION OF THE PENTECOSTALS OF FORT WORTH

4 And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the Lord; there was no more spirit in her.

5 And she said to the king, It was a true report which I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom:

We want every guest that walk through the doors of the Pentecostals of Fort Worth to feel like the Queen of Sheba did…Thank You Lord for a pastor like Solomon who is training us to be excellent in all things.

  2. All the kings of the earth wanted to come to Solomon. Godly actions will bring the world to us. We do not have to become like the world to reach the world. We only have to keep doing what is right.

  3. Using God Given Gifts

Solomon was an accomplished botanist and zoologist, with God’s gift of wisdom, he enjoys learning extensive information about pants, birds, insects, animals and fish (1Ki 4:33). Solomon’s ability to retain knowledge, instruct others, negotiate with foreign dignitaries, supervise building projects and successfully manage Israel comes as a ‘gift’ from the Lord (1Ki 3:10-13). In addition to his studies of plant and animal life Solomon writes 3,000 proverbs and 1,005 song (1Ki 4:32-33). Kings from all over the world send their advisors to study under Solomon (1Ki 4:34), and the famed Queen of Sheba makes a journey of thousands of miles to see if what she has heard about him is true (1Ki 10:1). Solomon’s wisdom is recorded in 2 psalms (Ps 72; 127), the book of Proverbs, Song of Songs, and most likely Ecclesiastes. You cannot say that Solomon did not used the gift which the Lord blessed him with. In fact once we begin to use the gifts which God’s blessed us with, if we are not spiritually in tune with God you will not understand where it has come from or believe it to be real. This is why so many wanted to study under him, kings and queens traveled to see for themselves if it to be true. “Every good and perfect gift is from above, who created all the lights in the heavens,He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.” (Jam 1:17). Therefore I believe all these people were seeking the source of his wisdow, hoping for something magical, when all the while they didnt see that they were really searching for Jesus. The giver of gifts, Jesus, is how we revieve these devine spiritual, and physical gifts. IF they hadnt been wearing a veil opposing truth. Today this veil is torn, riped down the middle after Jesus’ death, and sealed with His Holy Ghost for us to have a direct relationship with Him, once we have this gift, we can use this git to then lead others in the same direction.

    A woman’s voice:

She came seeking Solomon’s wisdom and gave him in abundance. Because of the attitude and in the way that she approach the king; she left with all she desire, whatsoever she asked for.

  5. v6 Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: for thou exceedest the fame that I heard.

The queen wanted to know for herself about the wisdom of king Solomon and she step out in faith.
When we step out in faith and hunger for more of our Great King JESUS we too, will find that it’s” joy unspeakable and full of glory, ”
Oh the half has never yet been told.
    1Peter 1:8
There’s nothing like a personal and spiritual experience. There’s a fine line between the emotional, the imaginary, the fantasy and the real touch of GOD.

    2. The queen gave king Solomon gifts from her heart. She in return received all her desires, whatever she so asked.
Awesome teaching last nite of giving!
When we bring our gifts to the KING OF KINGD AND LORD OF LORDS with a cheerful heart He will always give us more.
Delight thyself also in the LORD and He shall give thee the desires of thy heart. Ps.37:4
When we give unto the LORD we are ministering unto HIM. That’s another form of worshipping the LORD FOR WHO HE IS.

GOD is the great giver of all perfect gifts and has come to offer HIS MERCY AND GRACE
Our first fruits are holy and satan can’t touch this because they belong to the LORD, and HE expects it back.

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. (Luke 6:38 KJV)
Solomon was a man that continually gave, he wasn’t a man that was stingy with what God had blessed him with. The more he gave, the more that was given unto him. Solomon had found favor in the eyes of God!!
And I truly believe the same it shall be with us the body the POFW. When we sincerely dedicate our lives, our giving unto the LORD, unto this region of DFW, we as well will find favor in the eyes of the LORD. We are truly blessed as we follow the man of GOD, that is full of Wisdom. Obey as he hears the voice of God, Follow as he follows Christ. Never stop giving into God’s kingdom, or this city. People will know and hear about ‘ The Pentecostals of Fort Worth’ as a matter of fact POFW is being heard of now! As I was in Louisiana a man came to our dinner table, and had asked who were we and what church did we attend, now we weren’t the only Pentecostals there. But out of all the tables he came to ours, I had mentioned to him that we were from Ft. Worth, and our Pastor is Micheal Watts. At the mention of Pastors name he said’ oh, yes. I know Michael Watts.’ this man that had asked was the Prysbeter of Lousiana. And it gave me Joy to hear this. Not because of who I am. But because of who GOD IS. And because I believe that if we continue on the path that we are going on, that because of the man of God(Pastor Watts) is a Godly man, a man of Wisdom, a man of Prayer, a man of Worship, a man of Obedience, a man of Truth, a man of Righteousness, a man that Gives, a man of Compassion….etc. We become as he is, ‘Christ Like’, then we will find Gid’s favor in our lives. Continue to give, continue to Love, continue to follow. All for the Glory and Honor of our Lord.

  7. 2 Chronicles 9:4 The Message (MSG)

    2 Chronicles 9

1-4 The queen of Sheba heard of Solomon’s reputation and came to Jerusalem to put his reputation to the test, asking all the tough questions. She made a showy entrance—an impressive retinue of attendants and camels loaded with perfume andi much gold and precious stones. She emptied her heart to Solomon, talking over everything she cared about. And Solomon answered everything she put to him—nothing stumped him. When the queen of Sheba experienced for herself Solomon’s wisdom and saw with her own eyes the palace he had built, the meals that were served, the impressive array of court officials, the sharply dressed waiters, the cupbearers, and then the elaborate worship extravagant with Whole-Burnt-Offerings at The Temple of GOD,it all took her breath away.

  8. Gold= The Lord’s
(internet) It was the symbol of wealth and was used as an offering ti God on many occasions. NUM 31:50 (KJV)/ We have therefore brought an oblation for the Lord whatever man hath gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the Lord.
Why did it have this value?Gen 13:2
The Isrealites carrt gold out of Egypt- Exodus 12:35
Gold did not rust or deteriate. 2Kings 18:16
This is just a lesson from the Bible about investing.Gold is that when something serves a good & true purpose we should give(end of internet info).

      1 Chronicles 29:11-12 (Kjv)
Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
12/ Both riches and honor come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; andin thinr hand it is to make great, and to strength unto all.

  9. And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built,

4 And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the Lord; there was no more spirit in her.

Solomons wisdom was a gift that God had given him because he didn’t ask for material things, he asked for something that would benefit others. I notice in the verse that the queen acknowledged his wisdom before she acknowledged his possession. When we are favored and blessed of the Lord, people should be able to see our spirit and attitude long before they ever see the material blessings God has given us.

    Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

  10. PROVEN ROYALTY

2 And Solomon told her all her questions: and there was nothing hid from Solomon which he told her not.
3 And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built,
4 And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the Lord; there was no more spirit in her.

The queen of Sheba, like so many people today, the mindset of coming to church is one of question, concern and sincerity. She came to examine or (prove) if all she heard was true about and from Solomon. There are a few attributes that we could identify with even in our generation.

    1. She brought her possessions, she came with her best! She brought people, she brought resources and she brought sincerity.

    2. She opened her heart, she communed with him all that was in her heart, she held nothing back.

    3. She observed:

    a. The wisdom of the man of GOD. (This is why I must study and pray)
    b. The house or the building. (This is why we must present a clean, updated, organized building)
    c. The meat of his table. (This is why it is so important that we offer various ministries and affinity groups)
    d. The sitting of his servants. (Organizational structure is important)
    e. The attendance of his ministers. (This is why involvement by the church body is so important)
    f. Their apparel. (What we wear and how we dress is important)
    g. They way they went up into the presence of GOD. (Our worship is so important not only to GOD but also to those that are searching)

    4. She was left breathless and convinced that this was more than she even expected.

I LOVE Jesus, I LOVE the Church, I LOVE you all in JESUS name!

    Don’t Worry, Be Happy

7 Happy are thy men, and happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.

Other folks are watching the servants and saints of God, it’s important that we are happy and content with our King. When we worship God with a pure heart, the joy of the Lord will be our strength and others outside of the gospel will be attracted to the King. BE HAPPY

  12. And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon(people have heard about POFW)so she came to prove Solomon with hard questions(they want to see if we really believe what we say we do).

We are representing our church in our worship, our dress, our attitude, our compassion. When we have vistors, they are looking at these to see if we are the REAL church,in which we claim to be!! Let us not let them down!!!

  13. 7 Happy are thy men, and happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.

8 Blessed be the Lord thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the Lord thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.

Wisdom brings happiness and state of bliss. Wisdom is the application of knowledge. Put to knowledge into action.

Prov 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

  14. CHRONICLES 9 1 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart. And Solomon told her all her questions: and there was nothing hid from Solomon which he told her not. And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built, And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the Lord; there was no more spirit n her. And she said to the king, It was a true report which I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom:

The blessings of God are not kept quiet for long. Sololmons wisdom was famous throughout the land. When God begins to bless his people, others will show up to challenge or prove what is happening. Our faith is tested, but if we stand firm and just let Gods blessings and work speak for itself people will realize that it is all true much like the queen of Sheba. Not every test we go through is for us, sometimes its for others that are watching us challenging our lifestyle and choices.

  15. Something About Silver

20 And all the drinking vessels of king Solomon were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold: none were of silver; it was not any thing accounted of in the days of Solomon.

Not long ago, I wondered about “why gold?” with some of the temple instruments; now I find myself asking “why not silver?” Silver has beauty and value and is considered a precious metal, yet why is it regarded not only as less than gold but as even undesirable? What is the spiritual application?

    Silver information:

“Together with gold, and the platinum-group metals, silver is one of the so-called precious metals. Because of its comparative scarcity, brilliant white colour, malleability, ductility, and resistance to atmospheric oxidation, silver has long been used in the manufacture of coins, ornaments, and jewelry. … Silver also finds use as a catalyst for its unique ability to convert ethylene to ethylene oxide, which is a precursor of many organic compounds. Silver is one of the noblest—that is, least chemically reactive—of the transition elements.”

“Silver is a soft, ductile, malleable, lustrous metal. It has the highest electrical and thermal conductivity of all metals. Silver is stable in oxygen and water, but tarnishes when exposed to sulfur compounds in air or water to form a black sulfide layer.”

There just seemed to be something about tarnishing that stood out as a main difference between gold and silver (aside from physical appearance.)

“Tarnish is a thin layer of corrosion that forms over copper, brass, silver, aluminum, and other similar metals as their outermost layer undergoes a chemical reaction. … It often appears as a dull, gray or black film or coating over metal. Tarnish is a surface phenomenon, that is self-limiting unlike rust. Only the top few layers of the metal react, and the layer of tarnish seals and protects the underlying layers from reacting.”

Silver, reactive to the world around it. Silver gets changes simply by its exposure to the atmosphere, and the result is a covering/shell of unsightly tarnish that blocks the beauty underneath from being revealed.

Ephesians 2:1-3 “1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the *prince of the power of the air*, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.”

Ephesians 4:17-19 “17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.”

Hebrews 3:12-15 “12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; 15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.”

Romans 12:1-2 “1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Matthew 5:13-16 “13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Silver seems to display the frailty of humanity that can allow a true believer to be corrupted. Being exposed to the atmosphere (influence of the prince of the power of the air and the carnality of the world), it can create an un-renewing (opposite of Romans 12:1-3) that creates a hardness in the heart of the unbeliever as the flow of faith is cut off and a layer of filth seals the unbelieving “believer”, causing the light that is left in them to be hidden from the world.

Like salt that has lost it’s savor, suddenly this silver is “protected” in its environment because it has been sealed by the world, no longer sealed by God. It seems suddenly at home in the world around it and is testament of its corrupt influence rather than the divine influence of God that made it precious in the first place.

At it’s core it is still silver (once we are children of God then we are always children of God, regardless of whether we remain on a track for heaven or turn away back to a track for hell) but it is no longer beautiful in its “natural state” (the new natural state of beauty of the born-again believer is that of holiness, reflecting God, but when backslid, the beauty is hidden underneath the filth of sin.)

Silver, silver, silver… it seems a prelude to Solomon’s fall. He began with a heart like gold, yet somewhere along the line stepped down a notch to having just a heart like silver. Still beautiful, yet it quickly became tarnished under sinful influences and he fell from the place he once was in God.

1 Kings 11:4 “For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as was the heart of David his father.”

  16. We can learn alot from Solomon. How if we would just listen to what God says to do and not our own will, He will provide. This is also a good representation of how there are such things as generational blessings and curses. I pray everyday against the generational curses in my family, and pray that God will give me the blessings too.

  17. Solomon was greatly blessed by God.Even with all his riches and wisdom ,Queen of Sheba and many others continued to bless him with even more riches! It is understandable when I receive my crown from Jesus,I would more than willingly put my crown before His feet in worship and praise!!

  18. The reputation of Solomon was heard miles away. It’s important to always watch what you do because somebody is always watching you.

  19. 1 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.

This is how many many people come into our church-they have heard many good things about us, but they themselves want to put us to the test. They may come in with a harsh attitude or with hard questions, and if we just display or show them the love of God and let God be God, we won’t have anything to prove! We must greet them with kindness and compassion and realize that they are looking for something real. Then we continue to show them God’s love through caring for them after their visit and be willing to offer studies of His word while being wise but gentle as scripture says.

  20. 1 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.

When God is working with and for you, because you are obedient, people will come from all around just to see what God is doing.

I was reading about many early revivals around the turn of the century and to my amaze these revivals broke out without advertisement, but with only word of mouth and a fervent hunger for more of Jesus. As will be the upcomming revivals all around this region.

  21. 17 Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold.

18 And there were six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, which were fastened to the throne, and stays on each side of the sitting place, and two lions standing by the stays:

19 And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps. There was not the like made in any kingdom.

What a display. God has established the throne of David. As wonderful as this natural throne is, I look to the heavens to throne that the King of Kings sits upon.

And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. -Revelation 4:5

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: -Luke 1:32

  22. 10 And the servants also of Huram, and the servants of Solomon, which brought gold from Ophir, brought algum trees and precious stones.

We were just taught on this…

You see what Solomon did with the trees?
He made something of the trees that were given to him that was unlike anything that anyone had ever seen. Then he gave back more than she gave.

And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. (Matthew 25:20, 21 KJV)

  23. 2 Chronicles 9:4
And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the Lord; there was no more spirit in her.

The word spirit here means breath. So, when the Queen of Sheba saw the wat which by he went up into the house of the Lord it took her breath away.

When we truly live for God, we will reflect his glory. This will cause people to be in awe of what God is doing, and just like the Queen they will be wide open to whatever God has for them.

  24. 7 Happy are thy men, and happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.

They were “blessed”. They were happy, joyous, uplifted people just because they heard the wisdom of God and his words flow through him.

  25. The beginning of verses 5-8 MSG read “She said to the king, “It’s all true! Your reputation for accomplishment and wisdom that reached all the way to my country is confirmed. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it for myself; they didn’t exaggerate! Such wisdom and elegance—far more than I could ever have imagined. ……” God’s promise to David and Solomon is now complete.

1 Chronicles 28:5-7 MSG read “And then from all my sons—and God gave me many!—he chose my son Solomon to sit on the throne of God’s rule over Israel. He went on to say, ‘Your son Solomon will build my house and my courts: I have chosen him to be my royal adopted son; and I will be to him a father. I will guarantee that his kingdom will last if he continues to be as strong-minded in doing what I command and carrying out my decisions as he is doing now.”

2 Chronicles 1:11-12 MSG read “God answered Solomon, “This is what has come out of your heart: You didn’t grasp for money, wealth, fame, and the doom of your enemies; you didn’t even ask for a long life. You asked for wisdom and knowledge so you could govern well my people over whom I’ve made you king. Because of this, you get what you asked for—wisdom and knowledge. And I’m presenting you the rest as a bonus—money, wealth, and fame beyond anything the kings before or after you had or will have.”

  26. Watch what you do people are watching us and seeing if we are on the up and up of what we believe. We need to give our all to God.

  27. 7 Happy are thy men, and happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.

Reading this reminds me of the kingdom of God and how we as his servants should be happy to serve in the church. We should enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise!!

  28. This chapter illustrates promise. All that Solomon was promised and more came to pass. If one is faithful and diligent in what saith the Lord, than all that has been promised, and more will come to pass. May the good Lord Bless you all in Jesus name, Amen
