Matthew 14

1 At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus,

2 And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.

3 For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias’ sake, his brother Philip’s wife.

4 For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.

5 And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.

6 But when Herod’s birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.

7 Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.

8 And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist’s head in a charger.

9 And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath’s sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.

10 And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.

11 And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.

12 And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.

13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.

16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.

17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.

18 He said, Bring them hither to me.

19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

22 And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.

25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.

27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

34 And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.

35 And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;

36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

  1. 19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
Our God is so Good, He will fulfill all your needs, and when He does not, take a good look at yourselves, how are you being stewards about what He has given us. We can not go through life lamenting ourselves for the calamities that we ourselves have brought into our lives.

I am learning to keep my eyes upon HIM. He is the only one that can give me the strength and dominion to stand in the mist of my storm. Sometimes it is better to Stand in the Middle of your storm than to trashed, and fight against a battle that does not belong to you, it belongs to the Lord. If you are fighting the storm, instead of standing still and let God be God, you will soon crash and go under.

Thank you Jesus for your great lessons in the last couple of day. You are so good. I Love You Keep in mind John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

  2. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. -Matthew 14:27

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. -2 Timothy 1:7

Fear should never keep us from moving into the place that God has called us to. During your greatest trial if you look for him, if you call on him he will answer. He will call you to the supernatural if you trust him and take him at his word!

Walk in his truth and not in the tangible things of this world.

Walk in his truth and not in the tangible things of this world.

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. -John 17:17
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. -2 Corinthians 4:18

  3. 13. When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

    25. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

He doesn’t do things our way; we would have walked in the desert and took a ship into the sea.

Sometimes we need to be reminded that He’s God, and He isn’t bound by men’s thinking or limitations. He has a purpose for not only everything He does, but also how He does it. There’s a lesson for us in His methods if we will take the time to learn from them.

Lord, give me the eyes to see deeper than what is happening on the surface so that I may learn of You. In Jesus Name, Amen.

    Matthew 11:29 KJV
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

  4. A touch from God can change the entire course of your life. You must simply ask and you can be completely restored and healed not only physically; but, spiritually. It is an awesome sight to witness the moment when someone realizes as the end of verse 33 MSG says “This is it! You are God’s Son for sure!” The moment you give yourself completely to God and say I can’t do this alone God, “I need thee”.

  5. 3 For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias’ sake, his brother Philip’s wife.
4 For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.
5 And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.

Herod and his wife Herodias had the same problem many people have today. They hated the message and the messenger, but since they could not change the message they beheaded the messenger.

10 And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.
11 And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.

What could have possessed Herodias to teach such things to her daughter. She instructed her to ask for the head of John. We teach our children everyday by our actions and our instructions, the way we live and talk. Our children see us the way we act at Walmart and know what is in our lives.
We need to love this message with all our heart and we will want to let this message sink into us. When we fall in love with the message we will love the messenger, for bringing us glad tidings.

Our children will know if we love the messenger and the message!!!!!!

Sometimes I Let The Best Of It Get To Me I Think Its Impossible For Me To Be Able To Accomplish The Things God Has Planned For Me I Start To Doubt And Then Pain Comes In But Lately Ive Been Praying Knowing God Has And Will Get Us Through The Situation Were Goin Through Even When We Feel Like Therea No More Its Is Possiblw Only If We Keep Our Eyes On The Lord Even When Were To Stubborn To Relize The Good Hes Done For Us The Things Hes Doing For Ys And Our Family And Friends..It Takes Time And Seems Like Forever But Its Worth The Wait Cause Nothing In This Woeld Can Compare To The Beutiful Love Of God ❤

  7. About 5,000 men were fed that day, in addition to all the women and children! (‭Matthew‬ ‭14‬:‭21‬ NLT)

If God can feed them out of little food then he ca feed those who’s in need.

  8. The hidden miracle in unfair circumstances

    Matthew 14:12-13
12 And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.
13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

Jesus cousin John was a man highly loved, and respected. They were family, and both played a significant role in transitioning the testaments.

John sold out to God, and even lived his life in a way where he was no doubt mocked, ridiculed, and talked down to.

However in the eyes of heaven he was a spiritual giant.

    Matthew 11:11
11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist:

Now this faithful man was beheaded. When Jesus finds out the grief, and turmoil, and memories flooded his heart and mind. So he went to the desert to mourn and pray.

However the spirit had another thing in mind. The crowds followed and Jesus had compassion teaching them.

The disciples knew the anguish their master was experiencing yet the work of the kingdom overshadowed his personal interests.

How unfair for John to die and then he can’t even mourn properly. Yet their was a miracle in the unfair circumstance for shortly after a young boy witnessed his sack lunch feed thousands of people.

Life may not always seem fair, but if we trust the leading of the spirit we may find that greatness miracles are just around the corner.

    Luke 9:59-60
59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 60 — Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

Jesus told the man to do something he himself experienced. Not because he doesn’t care, not because he doesn’t love, he cares and loves immensely! But because the spiritual work of the kingdom trumps the fairness of life.

    Proverbs 3:5-6 AMP
5 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
6 In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

  9. God will shatter the small expectations of we think He can do if we would learn to bring Him what we have already been given.

In the harvest field now ripened
    There’s a work for all to do;
Hark! the voice of God is calling
    To the harvest calling you.

Little is much when God is in it!
Labor not for wealth or fame.
    There’s a crown—and you can win it,
If you go in Jesus’ name.

When we are willing to offer our lives sacrificially, relinquishing our hold on whatever God has given us in terms of time, money, talents, etc., God will use these ordinary things to create extraordinary things. We must never believe our resources are too little to serve God. God delights in taking a humble, seemingly insignificant person and using us for His glory.

    1 Corinthians 1:27
    But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

  10. iLove to eat the Word

    “The Influence of a Dance”
6 But when Herod’s birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.7 Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.

    Authority VS Influence.

We see here that the power of influence once again overcomes Authority. Herod did not want to kill John, but the influence of the dance caused him to be in a stupor. (This is another reason to stay away from “worldly” music.)

In the battle of Authority VS Influence, we find another example of Influence temporally winning over Authority. This battle between authority and influence will one day come to an end when Jesus returns to the earth. He is not impressed or influenced away from righteousness. We must walk in his ways and resist the influence from those around us.

  11. vs31
    Why do we doubt?
The question is one we need to ask ourselves when we falter. If we do we will realize how foolish our fears are in veiw of who Crist is.

  12. IF YOU WANT IT BLESSED, BRING IT TO JESUS

Too often we focus more on our lack than that of our GOD and our potential through and in HIM. In this wonderful story that is so simple that humans of all ages can gain FAITH and understand the simplicity of the supernatural demonstration of the provision of GOD.

We complicate the plan of GOD by our selfishness and lack of FAITH in HIM. Notice the disciples claimed the resources of the young man they had aquired the simple sample of fish sandwiches. The basket of fish sandwiches was ordinary gain, ordinary food, a simple provision for a young man learning responsibility, it was not the family inheritance, their life savings or the balance of their retirement, however it was possibly their day or weeks wages. The fact is that as long as it was in the possession of the boy it was in his power, however he surrendered it to the disciples, whether he sold it or gave it we really don’t know. I tend to believe the disciples purchased it since they claimed it as their possession and not the lads who brought it.

Notice the change of hands that we witness here in verses 17 – 20, the disciples obtained it form the lad, then JESUS obtained it from the disciples, then the lad, the disciples and everyone around them obtained it from JESUS.

The SIMPLE message today is GIVE IT TO JESUS TO BE BLESSED.

He must BLESS IT and BREAK IT to MULTIPLY IT.

    iGive in JESUS name.

  13. Praise be to God for his miracles, signs and wonders are limited to our imagination and thoughts. Through Christ, no matter what the circumstance, even though it seems like live has given you only 5 fishes and a couple loaves of bread…. he can multiple it exceeding more than you can imagine.

  14. 28 Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.”
29 “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus.
30 But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted.
31 Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?” (NLT)

We must keep our eyes on Him and our trust in Him; never doubt or lose the faith. We aren’t perfect though and there will always be times we slip but we can know that, Jesus, today You will save me!

  15. YES!!!
36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

DOESN’T MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU HAVE READ THE BIBLE,
Never cease to learn the WORD of GOD!!!
THANK YOU JESUS!!! I LOVE YOU JESUS!!! HALELUJAH

  16. 22 And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

I was wondering why Jesus sent the disciples away until I got to verse 26 & 33.
Could it be that Jesus could not go any further with the level of fear and unbelief that was walking with him? The moment they saw him they should have recognized and embraced instead they feared and called him a spirit. Then in verse 33 they say “of a truth thou art the Son of God.” Well glory this is what he has been conveying from the beginning.

  17. How easily do we forget what God does for us. Just as Peter saw the 5 loaves and 2 fish miracle. Then the storms of life came. He first had the faith but as soon as his eyes where off Jesus. He began to sink. So many times we do this. We get the Sunday high but then once Monday roles around we soon forget to keep our eyes on Jesus. So just keep your eyes on Jesus. Let’s have church.

  18. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

No matter what’s going on in our life or around us we must trust in God. He knows what he’s doing and by faith we will recieve what he has for us.

  19. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me
Funny that we wait until we’re about to drown to call our for help. We.had faith enough to step out but once the winds pick up we forget the power of God we forget that we took those few steps on water and we start to focus on the storm all to quickly after averting our eyes from Jesus we begin to sink. If we would just keep our eyes fixed on him and trust that if he brought us to it, he will bring us through it.

  20. And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. (‭Matthew‬ ‭14‬:‭32‬ KJV)

I am blessed to know that through my storm, I can trust that Jesus is with me, and I can be with Him. I wouldn’t want it any other way! I’ve turned to the rock, I’ve trusted In Him, And His word. He has been the one who has kept me! Yes it has been a trying of my faith, I didn’t look to the world for peace, I didn’t look to alcohol, I didn’t walk away from truth, but, I went straight to my Lord.

The Lord has never left me, nor forsaken me.

  21. And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. (Matthew 14:28, 29)
We see that doubt causes fear, but we also see how to combat that fear and get it under control. As long as Peter kept his eyes on Jesus he could do the impossible but when he began to walk by sight fear took over him. Even though fear is a natural human emotion do we control it or does it control us?

  22. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Hallelujah many of us have the faith when we start doing something that God called us to do. However, during the course when everything seems going wrong or we feel like there is no way out we forget that Jesus is with us by our side. We have to completely TRUST and have FAITH in God in everything we do ALL THE TIME. JESUS WILL NEVER LEAVE US for we are his children. I love v.31 how it says and IMMEDIATELY….if we call out the name of the Lord like Peter did he will be there IMMEDIATELY and strech out his hand to us:) Let us not try to solve things on our own but have the trust and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ that we will overcome in his NAME!!! 🙂 THANK YOU JESUS IN YOU I TRUST!!!!!

  23. 20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

God always has more than enough.
The disciples were afraid because they thought Jesus would somehow allow them to run out of food for the crowd instead God provided in abundance and there was more left over! God will always provide greater than we could ever imagine all we have to do is trust him and allow Him to multiply.

  24. 27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

Jesus help me to always have faith in you for all my needs😄

  25. Don’t sink

    Matthew 14:28
Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”

Peters asked to come, Jesus says ok, and he goes.

He was under the direction of Christi. Yet, he still falls and Jesus catches him.

Imagine how fast he would have fallen in the water. It says immediately Jesus saved him. It’s spontaneous.

We must trust that God will deliver us when things get bad and we are in circumstances beyond our control. God won’t let us in over our heads.

It is important to note that Peter asked to be saved. Had he kept his mouth shut, would he have been kept from being immersed?

  26. When surrounded by fear and doubt I have taken lesson from Him and separated myself from the masses. I must clear my head, pray and commune with God. I handle challenging times much smoother when doing this. 🙂

  27. 27, “But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.”
28, “And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me to come unto thee on the water.”
29, “And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.”

32, “And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.”
33, “Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.”

I am not a swimmer. I do not like water. I do not like being in a boat on the water. Therefore, if I were in a boat on the water on a windy day, I would be scared out of my whits. But that is what amazes me about this story. Not only where the disciples in a boat on the water while it was windy, but it was also night time. They were scared, and Jesus comes walking on the water to them and tells them to “Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.” Peter is the only one who calls out to Jesus and says that if it is really YOU, then let me come out to you on the water. Jesus says “Come,” and Peter (in Faith) on a windy night steps out of the boat (his comfort zone) and onto the water and starts walking towards Jesus. And because of Peter obeying the voice of Jesus to “Come” and stepping out in “Faith” and out of his “Comfort Zone” made a difference in the lives of the other disciples who were still in the boat. For when Jesus and Peter came into the boat, the wind ceased, and the discipels worshipped Jesus and proclaimed who he really was “the Son of God.” If Peter hadn’t stepped out of his “Comfort Zone” would the other disciples really have seen who Jesus is?”

Now, the question is “How many times have we been told it is time to step out of our comfort zones?” What stops us? FEAR. It only takes one to OBEY the voice of God, to have FAITH, and to step out of our COMFORT ZONE to make a difference.
My prayer today is… “Lord, help ME to step out of my comfort zone, trust and obey your voice, and help me to make a difference in the lives of others.”

  28. For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias’ sake, his brother Philip’s wife.

The influence of a woman is very powerful. We must be humble and submissive, loving, kind, generous, compassionate and we be sure to use our influence for the good of the Kingdom and not to benefit our carnal nature.

  29. For Herod had laid hold of John and bound him, and put him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife. Because John had said to him, “It is not lawful for you to have her.” (‭Matthew‬ ‭14‬:‭3-4‬ NKJV)

    Poor guy got Offended. Smh

  30. “And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath’s sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.” Caring more for how self looked than what was right, he made a terrible choice. As such one must be mindful and consider the cost of choice, as the right choice although more difficult at the time, may prove to be far easier to live with. What a mighty God we serve, thank God for his word! God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all, in Jesus name, Amen.

  31. 36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

I love how it says they were made perfectly whole. When we get hurt in the physical there is often times a scar left when we heal. Though we may be healed we have a blemish, a mark, or some indication of an injury left over. We may be whole but it’s not quite the same as before. When God heals us he does a perfect work. He makes us perfectly whole. Only God can heal the scars and hurts in our lives completely, only he can give us a new heart.

  32. Do you really think by taking John’s Head off, would actually silence him. You can still hear his words…..”REPENT”. We all face adversity, and can end up in Prison for our faith, and even be beheaded. Just like our brothers & sisters in Iraq, Iran, or Seria, or other Muslim/Islamic Nations. So, don’t think we are exempt because we live in America. But, I encourage you to keep the faith, because after this life is the prize we all be waiting for. That is to be with Jesus, it might seem gruesome but don’t quit on Jesus no matter what. Yes, we make mistakes, but cry out to Jesus, and as John the prophet said “Repent, and make straight the way of the Lord”. You know being on Third Shift, it seems I to have been locked away. But, I’m going to continue in my faith, even with my mistakes, I will press on to the mark. I will, like Paul finish my race to the end.

10 And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.

11 And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.

13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

We often speak of desert seasons as the part of walking with God that we put up with and go through because that’s just part of the process. But would we willingly go through a desert season just to seek after God in hopes we will find Him and even have an encounter with Him? Is His presence not worth a desert season? I am reminded of Ruth’s perseverance, and how God blessed her through it:

    Ruth 1:16-17
16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.

  34. Don’t run away now

15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.

16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.

Just when they thought the service was over….

They were in a place were there wasn’t much to have or see. Sometimes in life there’s not much to go around. The disciples thought now everyone is hungry we should send them away because we don’t have enough to feed them. The problem with that is when your hungry is the perfect time to stay with Jesus. Just because things get a little dry sometimes don’t go anywhere. Just stay put and trust in God. He is the giver of all things. Come hungry and be fed!

  35. 28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

    Come…
Sometimes we look at the great men and women of God and think to ourselves, how did they get there? Well I notice that God is not a respecter of person. So the invitation to see and experience the miraculous is open to anyone willing to be bold and take steps of faith. When Peter asked if it was the Lord Jesus and to bid him to come, it could’ve been anyone else.. Peter however was the one that had faith that The Lord could order him to come. The Lord simply said, come. What if that was us? The things is we need to stop looking at the natural and start looking at the supernatural. God can and will. However, to step into the supernatural means to step into the winds where one must keep the eyes fixed on Jesus the one who commands the winds, or else fear, doubt may take hold. I believe The Lord desires to show us and experience the kingdom in the supernatural realm, the thing is will one be bold enough to step out and ask The Lord to bid us to come even against contrary winds

  36. 36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

God healed many people it was faith that by a touch of his garments we would be healed .

  37. 21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

A few services back Pastor Watts mentioned that according to physics it is immpossible for a bumblebee to fly yet as we all know, some by first hand experience, that is does fly.

If you know any thing about math, you know 5 x 2 = 10 not 5,000. Yet Jesus defied the laws of math feeding 5,000 with 5 loafs of bread and 2 fish.

God has given us dominion on earth over everything. All we need to have is faith the size of a mustard seed, and the laws of this world will be forced to bow to the authority which is in Christ.

  38. 27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

    Yes you need faith.
