Zechariah 2

I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.

Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,

And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:

For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the Lord: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the Lord.

Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me.

10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord.

11 And many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

12 And the Lord shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

13 Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

  1. For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her…
For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.
    Zechariah 2:5‭, ‬8 KJV

In Hebrew, the word that is here translated as “glory” means the following: honor, glory, abundance, riches, splendor, dignity, reverence, or reputation. It is that majesty or splendor of a thing that causes it to receive honor or reverence.

When the Bible says “the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle,” it means that a divine manifestation of God’s splendor and majesty (a display that would inspire honor and reverence for the gloriousness God) was seen filling the atmosphere within the Tabernacle.

Zechariah foretells the time when God, Himself, will be the glorious presence in the midst of His people. The honor, the splendor, and the full majesty of the Almighty God would dwell in the midst of man. So says Col. 2:9, “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” Not only that, but John said, “And of His fulness have all we received…” (1:16 ), and Ephesians adds, “And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all,” (1:22‭-‬23).

All the majesty, glory, and power of God (everything that makes Him glorious) has filled us, His church. He is the glory in the midst of us, and He watches over and fights for those who are the repository of His Glory.

Moreover, Zechariah said that “after the glory” there would be retribution against the enemies of those who are God’s most precious possession. It seems that all Heaven and time and eternity revolved around and waited for that time when God’s Glory would be poured out on His precious ones. In fact, just receiving His Glory reveals that you are precious in His sight.

We live in the time that all the prophets spoke about, longed for. We have the Glory, the manifestation of the Mighty God, in our very beings. Can others see His Glory spilling out of me? Can they sense His gloriousness shining through me? Will they behold His splendor in my treatment of them? I am the Temple filled with His Glory; will they be drawn to His presence because of what they see in me? God, help me to never take for granted what You’ve given me. Help me to not selfishly hoard or hide Your Glory. Help me to be a light of Your Glory to fallen man, in Jesus’ name, amen.

  2. Verse 13 MSG “Quiet, everyone! Shh! Silence before God. Something’s afoot in his holy house. He’s on the move!” This verse reminded me of the song “God Is On The Move”:

Anytime a heart turns from darkness to light
Anytime temptation comes and someone stands to fight
Anytime somebody lives to serve and not be served

    I know, I know, I know, I know
God is on the move, on the move
    Hallelujah
    God is on the move
    In many mighty ways
God is on the move, on the move
    Hallelujah
    God is on the move
    On the move today

Anytime in weakness someone falls upon their knees
Or dares to speak the truth that sets men free
Anytime the choice is made to stand upon the Word

I see your generation standing on the truth
In each and everyday saying God is on the move
Anytime the Gospel stirs a searching souls
And someone says “send me, here I go”

  3. 10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst, says the Lord. Many nation’s shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and they shall become My people in that day , and I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the Lord of host has sent Me to you.

  4. 4 And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:
5 For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

One chapter, a short time after, God is called them to repentance to draw away from sin is promising blessings. Why we should not seek God for blessings it comes with the territory of drawing closer to God. Knowing God and knowing His fullness and being his presence is enough for any person and is rewarding in itself oh, God and all this love and giving kindness is willing to take that above and bless us even more.

  5. Zechariah 2. Message
1-12 Many godless nations will be linked up with God at that time. (“They will become my family! I’ll live in their homes!”) And then you’ll know for sure that God-of-the-Angel-Armies sent me on this mission. God will reclaim his Judah inheritance in the Holy Land. He’ll again make clear that Jerusalem is his choice.

13 Quiet, everyone! Shh! Silence before God. Something’s afoot in his holy house. He’s on the move!

    God is on the Move
Anytime a heart turns from darkness to light
Anytime temptation comes and someone stands to fight
Anytime somebody lives to serve and not be served
    I know, I know, I know, I know
God is on the move, on the move
    Hallelujah
    God is on the move
    In many mighty ways
God is on the move, on the move
    Hallelujah
    God is on the move
    On the move today
Anytime in weakness someone falls upon their knees
Or dares to speak the truth that sets men free
Anytime the choice is made to stand upon the Word

  6. Zechariah 2:13 (English Amp) Be still, all flesh, before the Lord, for He is aroused and risen from His holy habitation. Zeph.1:7 [ Hush !] Be silent before the Lord God, for the day [ of the vengeance] of the Lord is near; for the Lord has prepared a sacrifice, and He has set apart [ for His use] those who have accepted His invitation. God is always on the move. We do his will and he has to be the one to drawn them back. We are not the judge God is the judge. Let your Kingdom come and your will be done.

  7. The Lord says, “Come away! Flee from Babylon in the land of the north, for I have scattered you to the four winds. Come away, people of Zion, you who are exiled in Babylon!” After a period of glory, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies sent me against the nations who plundered you. For he said, “Anyone who harms you harms my most precious possession.
    Zechariah 2:6‭-‬8 NLT
    GOD calling his people home
Are lost family and friends backsliders they were lost but by the grace of GOD they will be found he is our protector and deliver

  8. 10. Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord.

    Revelation 22:
    17. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

    20. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

  9. “Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.”
    ‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭2:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Oh God allow me not to be selfish but let me be selfless.
The scripture says Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord.
Reminded once again that flesh isn’t something brought to the presence of the Lord. When we fast we’re letting pieces go of our everyday life to draw closer to HIM.
Making myself uncomfortable (my flesh) so I can be more sensitive to his spirit.
Jesus thank you for your mercy and loving kindness.

  10. Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord .

Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord : for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.
    Zechariah 2:10‭, ‬13 KJV

I’m learning to appreciate the art of fasting. Not just pulling away from the table now and then to enjoy the health benefits, but to deny myself some of the things I’ve been clinging to and REPLACING that time or practice with seeking the face of God. I want to see God move in the world around me. What can I do to silence my flesh? What can I do to prepare an atmosphere that is worthy of God’s presence? Lord, I seek Your face today. I love You, my Jesus, my Savior, my Lord, my God.

  11. iLove the Kingdom
Zechariah 2:11  And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

The cracked open door of the Gentiles is found right here in Zechariah 2:11. The Jews believed other nations would one day be grafted into the Kingdom. In fact, the Jewish religious leaders would go through out the nations and search for those they could convert to Judaism. Jesus said it like this in Matthew 23:15  “What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you cross land and sea to make one convert, and then you turn that person into twice the child of hell you yourselves are!”

The biggest surprise for the Jewish people was not the fact that Gentiles were let into the Kingdom, the biggest surprise was how we were let in. God accepted us by simple faith and not by works of the flesh. Acts 10:45  And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

“And many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people…”

    • Requirements for a Gentile to become a Jew
The Amoraim who produced the Talmud set out three requirements for a conversion to Judaism (Keritot 8b), which must be witnessed and affirmed by a beth din hedyot rabbinical court composed of three Jewish males above the age of thirteen (they do not need to be rabbis):

Circumcision (Brit milah or hatafat dam brit) for men[1]
Immersion (tevilah) in a ritual bath (mikveh) for both men and women[1]
Offering a certain sacrifice (korban) in the Temple (the Beit Hamikdash) – this requirement is deferred while the Temple does not exist until such time as it may be rebuilt.
The consensus of halakhic authorities also requires a convert to understand and accept the duties of the classical Jewish law. This is not stated explicitly in the Talmud, but was inferred by subsequent commentators.[21]

After confirming that all these requirements have been met, the beth din issues a “Certificate of Conversion” (Shtar Giur), certifying that the person is now a Jew.

  12. 8 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

13 Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

  13. “For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: FOR HE THAT TOUCHETH YOU TOUCHETH THE APPLE OF HIS EYE!
    Zechariah 2:8 KJV
“He esteems them as much as men value their eyesight, and is as careful to protect them from injury, as men are to protect the apple of their eye.
The pupil of the eye is the tenderest part of the tenderest organ, and very fitly sets forth the inexpressible tenderness of God’s love.”
    (Charles Spurgeon)
We are precious, valuable and worth protecting to God! We should never put ourselves down or anyone who God calls His own. Last night during the preaching, this thought came to me, that God will fight for us because we are His covenant people and He has sworn to take care of us like a good shepherd! After all, We are the apple of His eye!

  14. 5 For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

He is my shield of protection! He is my strong tower! He is my salvation!! He is my banner!!! He is ALL to me and nothing else will do!!! JESUS IS MY GOD AND SAVIOR!!! I have nothing to fear! Thank you Jesus for the great things that you are doing and what you will do in POFW!

  15. 8 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

9 For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me.

10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord.

  16. 2 Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

    Where are you going???
I saw this and thought about it, and had to ask myself what am I busy doing? Where am I going? Is it all for myself or for Jesus? I think that these are all questions that we should ask ourselves frequently to make sure we continue to seek His will…

  17. Zechariah 2:10-11
    10) Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, Lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.
    11) And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

  18. 10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord.

11 And many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

  19. 2:13 Be silent , O all flesh, before the Lord; for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.
    ——-
2:13 AMP Be still before the Lord O mankind, for he is roused( raised up)from his holy habitation) in response to his persecuted people.
    ———————-
Be still and see the salvation of the Lord.
I will be still and know tha you are GOd
There is a time for everything ….
    Keep praising
    Keep rejoicing
    Keep praying
    Keep believing
    Keep declaring
    Keep obeying
    Keep on keeping on!
The Lord is doing a great thing . You, be still, and available( willing heart) for the work of of the Lord.

  20. 1 I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.

    LIft up mine eyes AGAIN.
This isn’t a one time saved process. Not an all for one sale or even a one-step revolution.

This salvation takes work, commitment, and sacrifice. And there’s going to be times where we are required to do something again and again.

    Pray again.
    Worship Him again.
    Blog again.
    Witness again.
    Labor again.
    Forgive again.

2 Chronicles 15:7 “Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.”

  21. 10 The LORD says, “Shout and rejoice, O beautiful Jerusalem, for I am coming to live among you.

Just knowing the Lord is coming for us, we should always shout and praise him. We should all be comforted with his coming. For we look forward to that day to be in the presence of God.

  22. 5 For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

“It may look like I’m surrounded but I’m surrounded by You!” Surround us and consume us King of Glory, and let your glory shine! Shine so bright this world sees You in all things, including Your people: Let them see You in me! It’s all about You Lord!!

  23. AMP – God’s Favor to Zion
2 And I looked up, and saw a man with a measuring line in his hand. 2 So I said, “Where are you going?” And he said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see how wide it is and how long it is.” 3 And behold, the angel who was speaking with me was going out, and another angel was coming out to meet him, 4 and he said to the second angel, “Run, speak to that young man, saying, ‘Jerusalem will be inhabited [like villages] without walls [spreading out into the open country] because of the great number of people and livestock in it. 5 For I,’ declares the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire around her [protecting her from enemies], and I will be the glory in her midst.’”

This is how I see the fire of the Spirit penetrating the region of Fort Worth. We have set boundaries from Stephenville to Burleson to Keller to Weaterhford. I see the people of POFW being so on fire that it’s like wildfire between each point lighting up the area with the gospel. We are the hands and feet of Jesus – we must do His work. God’s glory will consume this area if we His people will be about the Father’s Business and the Father’s Kingdom.

  24. 5 For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

Fire – a primitive word; fire (literally or figuratively):– burning, fiery, fire, flaming, hot.
    fire
    fire, flames
    supernatural fire (accompanying theophany)
    fire (for cooking, roasting, parching)
    altar-fire

Glory – properly, weight, but only figuratively in a good sense, splendor or copiousness:–glorious(-ly), glory, honour(-able). Also to be heavy.
    glory, honour, glorious, abundance.

The fire of God is hot and His glory is heavy.
But it is His Fire that purifies us and causes us to want more of Him, and it is His Glory that when poured out on us, it surrounds us, fills us, and brings honor to Him.
He never promised it would be easy, but the blessings that come from staying in His Fire and carrying His Glory is so much greater than any trial we could face.

  25. 2 Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

3 And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,

4 And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:

5 For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

God knows the height and length of His church. What Jesus Christ laid before us is what we are to measure up to be and He is endless. As we build up our most Holy Faith we are to build our character and mentality to be a direct reflection of who Jesus is. He came to be our example. He is the plumbline as we have read in previous blog posts.

We cannot compare ourselves among ourselves because each of us are at different points in our walk with Christ and what He has for us if different. Let us measure up to the Word of God.

  26. THY KINGDOM COME
    REJOICE

7 Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

These few verses are rich with instructions and promises from JESUS.

    1. Deliver thyself. People must take the their own steps to come out of the world. Backsliders must choose to come back to JESUS. They must decide to get out of the the bondage of the world to serve JESUS and The Kingdom of GOD.

    2. The people of HIS Kingdom are the “apple of his eye”. When we are wronged, harmed, or even slandered JESUS takes it personal.

    3. Vengence is the LORDS. Seeing that we are the apple of HIS eye, JESUS takes it personal when we are attacked. He will shake his hand on them and spoil our adversaries servants as a testimony to us.

    4. We should SING and REJOICE that the Power and Glory of GOD is available to us. As we SING and REJOICE we have this PROMISE that JESUS will COME and DWELL in our MIDST. Right where we are. In the midst of our REJOICING.

Sing a New SONG today unto the LORD and watch HIM show up, the KING Himself, the KING of Glory, the KING of Kings JESUS will be right there.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap
    iGo
    iBlessYouInTheNameOfTheLordJESUS

  27. “And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.”
    ‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭2:4-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Jesus be a fence all around me everyday. Jesus I want you to protect me as I travel along the way “
The Lord is so good. If God is for us who or what can stand against us. He is our protector. He is strong and mighty! And He is mighty in battle.

  28. 5 For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

I want God to build a wall of fire around everything that I do and everywhere that I go. I want him to encompass me with his protection and power. I want His spirit to overshadow me in everything that we do. That is my prayer and then on top of that I want Gods glory to overshadow me, my family and our church and be in the midst of us!!

  29. “Quiet, everyone! Shh! Silence before GOD. Something’s afoot in his holy house. He’s on the move!”
    ‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭2:13‬ ‭MSG

It seems unfair that patience is a virtue. Why couldn’t it be something that we can easily attain? God is moving and things are happening in His Kingdom but we must patiently wait to see the fullness of His plan.

  30. Zechariah 2:3-5

  31. The Lord says, “Shout and rejoice, O beautiful Jerusalem, for I am coming to live among you. Many nations will join themselves to the Lord on that day, and they, too, will be my people. I will live among you, and you will know that the Lord of Heaven’s Armies sent me to you. The land of Judah will be the Lord ’s special possession in the holy land, and he will once again choose Jerusalem to be his own city.
    Zechariah 2:10‭-‬12 NLT

  32. 7 Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.
8 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

God delivers, but when we tangle ourselves up in sinful ways, he gets deliver yourself. Of course He is our strength and help, but until we put the sin away from us, what good will His intervention do when we are still participants in the sin? He will go after our enemy that tempts and tries to destroy us because we are still the apple of His eye!

  33. ““Many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you.”
    ‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭2:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
People will see your glory when Revival hit them. We must be the news and way the nations hear the gospel. We I’ll be. I will be a way people turn to the Lord. Let the name of Jesus be spreaded all across the lands and nations.

  34. 1 I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.

The Son of David, even the Man Christ Jesus, whom the prophet sees with a measuring line in his hand, is the Master-Builder of his church. God notices the extent of his church, and will take care that whatever number of guests are brought to the wedding-supper, there shall be room. This vision means well to Jerusalem. The walls of a city, as they defend it, so they straiten its inhabitants; but Jerusalem shall be extended as freely as if it had no walls at all, yet shall be as safe as if it had the strongest walls. In the church of God there yet is room for other multitudes, more than man can number. None shall be refused who trust in Christ; and He never shuts out from heaven one true member of the church on earth. God will be a Wall of fire round them, which can neither be broken through nor undermined, nor can it be assailed without danger to those who attack. This vision was to have its full accomplishment in the gospel church, which is extended by admitting the Gentiles into it; and which has the Son of God for its Prince and Protector; especially in the glorious times yet to come.

  35. 11And many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

His Kingdom is established in earth. He will one day, set up His Physical Kingdon here on a new earth and shall reign forever. We must prepare ourselves for this day. When all that remain, will bow down and worship our King Jesus.

  36. 10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord.

A sad heart can’t praise God. Let’s put back anything that may be holding us and see what God is doing and praise Him at all times.

  37. Then I, myself, will be a protective wall of fire around Jerusalem, says the Lord . And I will be the glory inside the city!’”
    Zechariah 2:5 NLT

Make Jesus your firewall! This got me thinking of security protection for our computers and how vulnerable they can be from outside sources and threats from the “WORLD” wide web. The same way we worry to protect our valuable information and assets the same we need to pray this Word of God over us and allow Jesus to be a fiery wall of protection.

  38. God cares for his people. When the enemy comes in like a flood the spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against it. When God has your back, there is no demon in hell that can take you down. As long as we continue to put him first, we shall overcome all things the enemy throws our way.

  39. Zechariah 2:10

Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord.

Prophetic words from the prophet Zechariah! I will said God, Dwell in the midst of thee!

Another scripture for your Oneness doctrine. God promising He himself would come and dwell in the midst of Zion. And over 2000 years ago, He did dwell in the flesh, in the midst of Zion!

  40. 13 Quiet, everyone! Shh! Silence before God. Something’s afoot in his holy house. He’s on the move!

Afoot- in preparation or progress; happening or beginning to happen.

We must be still and look at what He is doing! There are some things that only He can do the miracle, if we make a move we will ruin what He is trying to do in us, in our lives! God is not a microwave, yes He can heal instantly and work a miracle and the impossible but God knows what’s best for us and sometimes we have to be patient and see Gods hand move so we can mature in Him!!! Lord help me be still and silent and listen to your voice! I want to be senstaive to your voice daily God!!

  41. His Plans

2 Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

All blue prints start with a measurement. Befor plans can be drawn someone has to take measurement of the area in which the establishment will be built. Gods plan for Jerusalem was being plotted out and God himself took the measurements. When the measurement are that important, you take them yourself. God came in the form of Jesus because his plans for us were too important to send anyone else to take the measurements. Thank you Jesus that you are still drawing the blueprints of my life. I pray that he never lifts the pencil from the drawing table.

  42. 2;6-12 here the Jewish captive remaining in excise are summoned to return to Jerusalem from the land of the north (Tgough Babylonis northeast of Jerusalem, yep the captive would come via the route of the fértile crescent and thus enter Israel from the … North.) this will also have been revealed and Established, that is,after the second coming of Christ God Will punish the enermies of His people because the latter are what he describes as “ the apple of His eye” singing will break out when Christ comes to the millennial Temple, and Gentile nations will join themselves to Him in that day. The term the Holy Land for Palestine is used only here in the entire Bible.

  43. The Game is Afoot

“Quiet, everyone! Shh! Silence before GOD. Something’s afoot in his holy house. He’s on the move!”
    ‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭2:13‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Micheal asked me what this meant earlier today. God is up to something. He’s on the move ! He is changing situations and circumstances. He is opening doors and leading people down a path to Him! Thank you Jesus for moving and sitting the waters in our lives.

  44. 8 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

    WATCH OUT!!!

  45. 8 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

This is why we must be careful how we speak about people and treat them. God warns of unfair discipline and dealing too harsh with his people can lead to judgment all their own. Therefore touch not Gods anointed and do his prophet no harm (Ps 105:15 and 1Chro 16:22). For if you touch them it’s like touching the apple of Gods eye.
