1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,
18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,
19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
21 And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.
25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.
30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.
31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.
32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

The direct object of this parable seems to be, to show that though the Jews were first called into the vineyard, at length the gospel should be preached to the Gentiles, and they should be admitted to equal privileges and advantages with the Jews. The parable may also be applied more generally, and shows, 1. That God is debtor to no Prayer of Manasseh 2. That many who begin last, and promise little in religion, sometimes, by the blessing of God, arrive at a great deal of knowledge, grace, and usefulness. 3. That the recompense of reward will be given to the saints, but not according to the time of their conversion. It describes the state of the visible church, and explains the declaration that the last shall be first, and the first last, in its various references. Till we are hired into the service of God, we are standing all the day idle: a sinful state, though a state of drudgery to Satan, may be called a state of idleness. The market-place is the world, and from that we are called by the gospel. Come, come from this market-place. Work for God will not admit of trifling. A man may go idle to hell, but he that will go to heaven, must be diligent. The Roman penny was sevenpence halfpenny in our money, wages then enough for the day’s support. This does not prove that the reward of our obedience to God is of works, or of debt; when we have done all, we are unprofitable servants; but it signifies that there is a reward set before us, yet let none, upon this presumption, put off repentance till they are old. Some were sent into the vineyard at the eleventh hour; but nobody had hired them before. The Gentiles came in at the eleventh hour; the gospel had not been before preached to them. Those that have had gospel offers made them at the third or sixth hour, and have refused them, will not have to say at the eleventh hour, as these had, No man has hired us. Therefore, not to discourage any, but to awaken all, be it remembered, that now is the accepted time. The riches of Divine grace are loudly murmured at, among proud Pharisees and nominal Christians. There is great proneness in us to think that we have too little, and others too much of the tokens of God’s favour; and that we do too much, and others too little in the work of God. But if God gives grace to others, it is kindness to them, and no injustice to us. Carnal worldlings agree with God for their penny in this world; and choose their portion in this life. Obedient believers agree with God for their penny in the other world, and must remember they have so agreed. Didst not thou agree to take up with heaven as thy portion, thy all; wilt thou seek for happiness in the creature? God punishes none more than they deserve, and recompenses every service done for him; he therefore does no wrong to any, by showing extraordinary grace to some. See here the nature of envy. It is an evil eye, which is displeased at the good of others, and desires their hurt. It is a grief to ourselves, displeasing to God, and hurtful to our neighbours: it is a sin that has neither pleasure, profit, nor honour. Let us forego every proud claim, and seek for salvation as a free gift. Let us never envy or grudge, but rejoice and praise God for his mercy to others as well as to ourselves.

Matthew 20:32-34 KJV
Lord, open my eyes that I might see and follow You in every situation. Deliver me of the blindness that causes me to stumble over little things. Deliver me from tunnel-vision that causes me to only see what I want or expect to see. Deliver me from a lack of focus on the right things. Open the eyes of my heart to see those who need to see You in me.

Verse 33 MSG “They said, “Master, we want our eyes opened. We want to see!” Same verse ERV “They answered, “Lord, we want to be able to see.” Able: having the power, skill, means, or opportunity to do something. What do we want to be able to see? Psalm 119:18 NLT says “Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions”. Ephesians 1:18 AMP “And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the [a]hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the [b]saints (God’s people),”.
Matthew 30:16-17 (English Amp) So those who

to the chief priests and scribes; and they will sentence Him to death. Then he was Deliever to the Gentiles to be mocked and whip. Jesus died on that cross for our sins . But he is going to raised to life in the third day . You are going to be mocked by people and there going to hate you . Still love them and forgive them . And live the best for Jesus.

Sometimes we must cry out for His Mercy. I am so happy that when I was blind in the world He heard my cry, rescue me, and restore my sight. I have nothing to fear anymore for He lives in me!

Assumption and suppostion are two of the downfalls of church; a belief that we deserve anything or today our work for the Lord should be rewarded. It’s our godly duty to serve with all he has done already, supposition is a deadly disease in the church and it’s in the opposite direction of where our attitude should be, I personally believe we should learn to expect nothing and have faith for everything. We have a sovergn and giving God who supplies our desired and needs, but it’s because of his grace and love not apart of our earned wages
26. This is the Kingdom’s logic: whoever wants to become great must first make himself a servant;
27. whoever wants to be first must bind himself as a slave-
28. just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give His life as the ransom for many. Voice
Kingdom Logic
Carnal logic says to push and shove and step on the backs of others to gain personal success, but Kingdom logic says to give, serve, and help others become part of the Kingdom.
Isaiah 55:
8. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. KJV

Simple. Jesus didn’t put on a big show for anyone. He didn’t complicate things. Ask and you shall receive. That’s pretty cut and dry. We have a loving caring, healing God. All you have to do is ask…

It’s nothing new…it’s human nature. Each of us fight it in one form or another. All of us fight the, “It’s not fair” syndrome. The only way to overcome this is to learn how to be “content” with whatever you have. Just because you worked somewhere for a long time doesn’t mean you deserve the promotion. The company is free to do what they wish.
God is just and faithful
Time and time again you’ll see people come and go in the church. Wanting to learn the ways of preaching and healing and being known as a preacher. But only a few will experience it.
Everybody wants to be a preacher. But it’s hard long journey to get there. It’s more then just sreaming. So must More.

Why murmur? They received yet complained against the one who had just blessed them. IN service for the Lord what should
It matter who gets what do we not know the master knows what we have need of. Why are we so concerned if someone gets more than what we received . Each gave of their time some were able to commit to more and some less who are we to say what the Goodman gives out, Thankful for what He has blessed me with .

It is nearly the time for the Lords return and there are many who are just coming into this truth, just becoming laborers for his kingdom. It’s never too late to find something to do in His Kingdom. Regardless of what the reward may be, we are needed to reach others and lead them to Jesus, preventing them from being lost- that is the reward to me, knowing someone will not be lost.

We witness another demonstration of the power of prayer. The men in need began by lifting their voice to identify and get the attention of JESUS (Praise). When they noticed they were recognized, they heard HIS voice.
They clearly spoke their request to HIM. The men spoke exactly what they desired and JESUS did exactly what they said.
This chapter is about serving and how we Leadership is determined in the eyes of the LORD. Also that there is no seniority in HIS Kingdom and that we should not be comparing ourselves to others. Serve JESUS whole heartedly and seek HIM first in everything and HE will establish our path in HIM.
Lets GO serve the LORD with Gladness today and speak the things we desire to see of JESUS.

Unless the Lord gives me a rotund NO, ( nor my neighbor, nor negativity, nor the voice in my head, nor my companion…). I will keep on asking.
Ultimately; Not my will but yours O Lord.
Whoever wants to be great must become a servant. Whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave. That is what the Son of Man has done: He came to serve, not be served—and then to give away his life in exchange for the many who are held hostage.”

Go out and look for those in idle! They’re everywhere! We read that that he went multiple times to the market and found someone standing there.
GO out and bring them to the church to work for the Kingdom of God! There’s plenty of work to go around! There’s no measure to who’s worked the longest or shortest, just serve and be blessed.
16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
The few chosen are those who chose obedience and submission. God makes a call to many, He desires relationship with all His children, yet only few answer and follow in obedience. Why though? It takes a shift in mindset and submission, it takes humility and commitment. Change, humility, and commitment though, are some of the greatest things we know pride to fight and keep people from serving. We must be an example though – be joyful in all you do because people are watching to decide if they want to answer the call. What are we doing to encourage or deter God’s called people to committing and obeying His voice?
26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;

God uses and exalts the meek and humble to do His work and He alone will receive all of the glory and honor forever and ever!!
So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

The blind men could have dreamed of doing hundreds of other things after receiving their sight but they chose to follow Jesus. Peter’s mother inlaw was healed and immediately started ministering to Jesus. And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them. Matthew 8:15 KJV
It’s good to give back to God in thanks, praise, worship, service and ministry once He has touched, healed, saved and or delivered us but we don’t have to wait until after because He is worthy at all times.
16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
“But Jesus answered and said, “You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” They said to Him, “We are able.””

Why is it that there are many who are called but only few that are chosen?
Often times those that are called will begin to answer and feel that it is too much, that a life of obedience and submission is asking for more than they are willing to give, and they walk away.
It takes being completely souled out to Him, it takes wholehearted obedience, and it takes a willingness. So choose you today, will you be apart of the many or will you be apart of the few?
My heart is fixed, my mind is made up, I choose the path of obedience and submission!
Use me, oh Lord!
““Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

Desperate time – Desperate need!!
Jesus stopped and called them, and asked, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

The LORD has called us all into His KINGDOM. But there are millions of people that are desperately crying out and know not where else to look. So they continue bound by sin. These two men were told to be quiet… in there desperation they were heard. Salvation had came to them both. They’re spiritual eyes were opened and followed Christ❤
No matter who you currently are, no matter your background, we need to let people know of the love and mercy of GOD that He has for them.
For there is no respect of persons with GOD.
We all come from a life of sin, but found redemption in Jesus Christ ❤❤

The multitude didn’t think that the blind men should have any part of JESUS!!! But GOD IS SO GREAT!!! HE TAKES NOTE OF EVERYTHING!!! JESUS SEES EVERYTHING AND NONE ARE UGLY, TOO FAR GONE, TOO LOST , TOO WORLDY, TOO SINFUL , TOO SKINNY, TOO FAT OR TOO SICK IN HIS SIGHT…… HE LOVES……….
32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
Open our eyes!
You could use this in a spiritual sense as well. The people that are hungry for revival are Screaming OPEN OUR EYES OPEN OUR 👀 EYES
we could take this word today and share another beautiful miracle the Lord did and talk about the miracles in our lives. We could open someone’s eyes today and be the answered prayer they’re looking for. Be sensitive to the spirit and watch for those folks in need of a word!

Many people have less because they do not ask. These blind men asked, had faith and then they received what they asked. If you want to know the Word, read it. If you want to get closer to God, pray and fast. So, let us GO SEEK A CLOSER WALK WITH JESUS!

Thank GOD that he gave HIS life to be the ultimate sacrifice for us to be able to be free
The parable of the vineyard speaks strongly to those who feel they’re somehow behind in entering into the kingdom of God. Regardless of what point in our life we made that decision to come, all Jesus expects is that we give it our all from that point forward. Yes, he questions those at the eleventh hour, why are you just standing around idle… but he still asks them to work in his field so he can gather all that he can. Those of us who haven’t grown up in the church may not have as long a period to have been engaged, but we can still demonstrate our commitment to his labor!
Notice that the reverse is not true. Those who are called early don’t get to take a seat on the sidelines and become merely observers in the labor, and they certainly don’t get to walk away. Jesus declared that no man once he had laid his hand to that plow of his labor, looking back to where he came from is worthy. Unlike our natural occupations, we don’t take sabbaticals from the kingdom, nor do we retire from it’s calling. Our physical limitations as we age are real and may require some redirection in how we can best contribute, but his light should continue to be seen by all we have the opportunity to influence! Let the world see what God has done!

These two blind men received their sight because they called up the Lord. There are many “blind” people spiritually that are calling out to God for deeper revelation. We as the body of Christ must be sensitive to answer the call of the Lord in our lives, because He will use us to bring greater revelation to the spiritually blind.
26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,
28 Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.
29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.
30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?
31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

We don’t want to be standing idly by while there is a harvest for us to go after. The workers are few, so the more of that can help in taking in the harvest God has for us, the more people that can be reached for his kingdom.

Jesus would have passed them by without healing the 2 men it took the men to cry out to Jesus to get healed. Jesus already knew there need but he waited on them to recognize there need for Jesus.
The same for us Jesus knows are needs and what’s to help but we have to call on Him and allow Him to work.
32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
Sometimes when we are blind, with no directions, we need to cry out to God to open our eyes and then follow him on the right path.
10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
When we all get to Heaven How Happy we’ll be. WE will get the same, we will all get to see Jesus. Thank you Jesus for the Gift Of The Holy Ghost. So that we might have eternal life through you.

26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
The word that came to mind; position. Do not seek to serve because of title or position or where you would be seen from, but rather serve to please God and to honor him. Serve to show gratitude for all He has done for us. Serve all and be humble for he takes notice of all you do and will seek that you serve where one shows himself faithful. We should know that the higher we go, the greater the responsibility and accountability. Serve God with gladness and stay humble.
16 So the last shall be first,
and the first last …
So we should not be
jealous of any won to Christ
after us. They do not have
the strength of faith we
have developed. We have
learned to wait on the Lord,
and they are not as practiced
and therefore not as strong.
And so we should be honored
and not jealous of their going
before us, as we stand before
the throne of Grace. There is
enough of Jesus to go around

The mother of James and John, the sons of Zebedee, might have heard that Jesus said his disciples would one day be seated on thrones (Matt 19:28). In motherly, but misplaced pride, she wants her sons to have the best spots, right next to Jesus. The key to kingdom mindedness is humility and a servants spirit. Jesus asks them if the are willing to “drink” from the same cup he is about to drink (vs 22). He wants to know if they are willing to suffer with him. They answer “we can” (vs 22) and Jesus affirms that they will (vs 23). They promise, perhaps without thinking it through, never realizing what lies ahead. They are willing to follow Jesus in life and death. (James is martyred during the reign of Herod Agrippa; John is exiled to the island of Patmos for his testimony to the gospel.) Its not about where we sit in the kingdom but that we live a life acceptable to see heaven. Like the workers earlier mentioned in this chaper, it doesn’t matter when we came to the church. If we lived going all our lives or just visited last week, Jesus desires that we live eternally. Our eternal reward will be worth the cost either way.

You have to be real with God! God wants the real ness of yourself, because God is always real with us and never fakes anything! He is a just God never changes and he will always tell the truth! God is bound by his word and he is a Just God!
“And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.”
Matthew 20:6-7 KJV
I’ve never thought about this before, but I wonder how many laborers are standing idol and waiting to approached. That would mean that there are people with the knowledge and resources to labor with us we just have to ask. So if your load is heavy, hire some idle people. Everyone should have a friend and a job.
30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.

Jesus will hear your prayers no matter what others think. I’m glad there’s a God that won’t shut me out after constantly praying to Him. He wants to hear me call His name over and over. He wants to have a relationship with me and loves me unconditionally. Thank you Jesus for your mercy and your grace!
1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
Where were these men early in the morning the first time that the Goodman came through? No one knows… It is not important to the Kingdom of Heaven where we have been in the past. It stars where you are and where you are going. It doesn’t matter if you are like Bob Davidson in your last years, God will find a way to use you. I am here with my family in Tennessee and they tell stories of moon shining and of a wild bunch of Johnson’s but I came to find out that now most of them are in church and doing good. Gods plan may not follow our itenerart but he knows what he’s doing.
16“So those who are last now will be first then, and those who are first will be last.”
I love this verse. Only a humble person will understand this. Someone with a. Serving attitude will understand this. Someone that doesn’t mind giving up their position in line, someone looking out for others.

As leaders and followers of Christ, we cant be selfish and only go to church to be ministered to but to minister. We cant have a pity party every time we go to church but go with the intention of helping those that are weak. We should have our daily time with Jesus so when we go to church we are ready and full of the HG and ready to help those new converts that are desperately needing Jesus. Not saying we must have our lives perfect but know who we serve and be CONNECTED with JESUS!! As leaders, Pastor shouldn’t have to worry about us but help him with the new souls/visitors. He can’t minister to all of 495 in one day and that is where us leaders must step up, be a friend, and minister!!! Lord help me love and see how you see Jesus!!! Its all about the SOULS!!!
