Mark 11
1 And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,
2 And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.
3 And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.
4 And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.
5 And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?
6 And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.
7 And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.
8 And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.
9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
11 And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.
12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:
13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.
15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
19 And when even was come, he went out of the city.
20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
27 And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,
28 And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?
29 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
30 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.
31 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?
32 But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.
33 And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
The POFW Daily Bible Reading 
Then they came to Jerusalem. And He entered the temple [grounds] and began driving out [with force] the people who were selling and buying [animals for sacrifice] in the temple area, and overturned the tables of the moneychangers [who made a profit exchanging foreign money for temple coinage] and the seats of those who were selling doves; and He would not permit anyone to carry merchandise or household wares through the temple [grounds, using the temple area irreverently as a shortcut].
MARK 11:15-16 AMP
Jesus, who was known for His love and meekness, became very forceful and controlling when He saw the Temple grounds being misused and disrespected. He drove out those who were using the Temple for gain, and He forbid entrance to those who were using it irreverently or to increase their own ease.
The Temple, as well as the church today, was for communion and redemption. It was a place to meet God, to fellowship Him, to receive direction from Him, and to partake of the atonement. Any other usage was an offence to God–even just talking a shortcut through the property to get to where you were going more easily.
We cannot please God while treating His house as common. Holy ground is to be entered into in a holy manner. Reverence is expected. Respect is required, and humble worship is the only attitude that God will accept in His Holy Place.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
15. And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
16. And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
17. And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
He cast out the buyers and the sellers, knocked over tables and chairs, and stopped them from bringing in vessels, but He didn’t stop there…He also taught them the right way to treat His house.
It’s not enough to stop wrong behavior, we also must teach the correct behavior.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Forgiveness is that important that your prayers will not be answer until you forgive. Forgiveness liberates you, makes you healthy, and open the lines of communication with God. Forgiveness is the most wonderful thing we can do for ourselves and for others.

This is possibly one of the most challenging scriptures for some people. Because their mindset confused forgiveness with permission rather than grace. Learning to let go of what hurts then and not allow it to weigh them down, which adds to their own sin that restrict God from forgiving then. To each of them that has, more shall be added and to reach that has not, what he has shall be taken away.

Jesus first went to the temple, saw what it was like and taught, but did nothing to those were theives in his house. Or did he? It doesnt truly say what he taught on in this passage, it could have been tithe and offering or on the fact that the temple should be a house od prayer like he states later on in the passage.
He cursed the tree maybe as a faith builder or maybe as a sign that represents the temple if they didnt hear his words.
They come back and i believe nothing has changed, i dont believe that they only sold things in the temple on the 1st and 3rd sunday or what not. No they most likely sold things everyday which means Jesus saw it on the first trip in to town. Saw no change the second time around, lost his cool and saw the withered tree on the way out.

Forgiveness is genuine love. We can never change the past but through forgiveness we can change the future. True forgiveness dies not mean we ageee with the offense but that we forgive the offender. Thank You Jesus for forgiving us daily . How many times must we forgive?
Matthew 18:22
70 Times 7. A number which represents boundless . Oh how marvelous the love of Jesus is that He forgives so how much more can we too share His love through forgiving, Help me to be like You. In Jesus name.

THY KINGDOM COME
FORGIVE
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
A grudge is the one of the greatest tragedies of the human life. No one benefits where there is a grudge or a situation that does not exhibit and demonstrate a willingness and desire to FORGIVE.
FORGIVE – 1 : to cease to feel resentment against (an offender) : pardon
2 a : to give up resentment of or claim to requital
b : to grant relief from payment of
A grudge is a 2 edged sword in the fact that it is costly in this life and for eternity.
In this life a grudge will cause health problems and relationship problems.
In eternal life a grudge will cause eternal death and separation from GOD.
Therefore we have a 2 fold reason to forgive those that wrong us.
1. To live at peace with ourselves here on earth.
2. To live at peace with GOD in eternity.
Remember a grudge is acid in your spirit that will eventually affect those around you.

12) And on the morrow, when they were cone from Bethany, he was hungry:
13) And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
14) And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.
Characteristics of a fig tree.
The fruit of the fig tree generally appears before the leaves, and because the fruit is green, it blends in with the leaves right up until it is almost ripe.
This is why, when Jesus and his disciples saw the fig tree afar off and leaves on it, they would have expected the fig tree to also have fruit on it.
BUT it was only a tree with leaves and no fruit on it.
When people see us afar off, they may see a tree full of leaves, but when they come close to us, do they find the Fruit of the Spirit on us? Do we only have a form of godliness or are we bearing the Fruit of the Spirit in our lives?
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Faith spoken without doubt – this is the key! It’s not about the amount of faith it’s about how you use that faith and how much you believe in Your God. I recently heard a preacher rhetorically ask then answer: “How much faith do you have? Enough! You have enough faith! Enough faith to do whatever God sets before you!” Go use Your faith today!!

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall SAY unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he SAITH shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he SAITH. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
3 times these verses emphasize the words that come out of our mouths in prayer. Be careful what you say when you pray. A long time ago a preacher friend told me, while you are having faith, have great faith! Let’s ask God in faith for many to be added to His kingdom today in Jesus name!

17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
The Lord is always very protective of the House of Prayer. The Word says in John 2:16 “Then, going over to the people who sold doves, he told them, “Get these things out of here. Stop turning my Father’s house into a marketplace!”
Joh 2:17 Then his disciples remembered this prophecy from the Scriptures: “Passion for God’s house will consume me.”
There is one sure way to get the Lord furious at us and give us a lashing…that is to allow the House of Prayer to become something it was not intended to be.
When they arrived back in Jerusalem, Jesus entered the Temple and began to drive out the people buying and selling animals for sacrifices. He knocked over the tables of the money changers and the chairs of those selling doves, and he stopped everyone from using the Temple as a marketplace. He said to them, “The Scriptures declare, ‘My Temple will be called a house of prayer for all nations,’ but you have turned it into a den of thieves.”

The house of God is not a store it’s a place of worship prayed and we’re life are change it’s the king house
Mark 10: 25 -26 (English Amp) And wherever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, Forgive him and let it drop ( leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your ( own) failings and shortcomings and let it drop.[26] But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings. When someone hurts you be willing to for forgive them so that God will forgive you. Repent and make it right . Repentance is very important in our lives. So your love to one another and pray for each other.

I Love To Worship The Lord
There is Christs inital entry into the city his conflict with the religious leaders and instrution given his Disciples. It all begins with Christs trumphal entry into the city at the time of the Passover festival

How do you pray? Do you bow your head and say a little grace where no one can hear you or do you open your mouth and SPEAK what you want done in your life. Go to God with expectations of a miracle and speaking it into existence. This stuff right here starts with faith. We gotta believe to get a miracle so let’s Go with high expectations in the Lord

How can one say they love Jesus but have hate towards others? The love of God is not in their hearts. Unforgiveness only hurts the unforgiving individual, not anyone else.
So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Faith is a requirement the other is that when you pray you must say it. That same power is within us. That power of the Holy Spirit dwells in us so we can call those things that are not as though they were. We can speak things into existence

Christ’s coming into Jerusalem thus remarkably, shows that he was not afraid of the power and malice of his enemies. This would encourage his disciples who were full of fear. Also, that he was not disquieted at the thoughts of his approaching sufferings. But all marked his humiliation; and these matters teach us not to mind high things, but to condescend to those of low estate. How ill it becomes Christians to take state, when Christ was so far from claiming it! They welcomed his person; Blessed is he that cometh, the “He that should come,” so often promised, so long expected; he comes in the name of the Lord. Let him have our best affections; he is a blessed Saviour, and brings blessings to us, and blessed be He that sent him. Praises be to our God, who is in the highest heavens, over all, God blessed for ever.
Verses 22-25 MSG “Jesus was matter-of-fact: “Embrace this God-life. Really embrace it, and nothing will be too much for you. This mountain, for instance: Just say, ‘Go jump in the lake’—no shuffling or shilly-shallying—and it’s as good as done. That’s why I urge you to pray for absolutely everything, ranging from small to large. Include everything as you embrace this God-life, and you’ll get God’s everything. And when you assume the posture of prayer, remember that it’s not all asking. If you have anything against someone, forgive—only then will your heavenly Father be inclined to also wipe your slate clean of sins.”
Ephesians 6:13-18 MSG “Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.”

Matthew 7:7 Ask,and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
James 1:5,6 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not and it shall be given him. 6. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
JESUS speaks about faith . For a miracle you have to have full faith and no doubt that JESUS will do it .

We never know when an offense will come against us. Sometimes it can hit us when least expected. But if we determine to have an attitude of forgiveness in advance, it could be much easier to overcome. Then in the middle of an offense we can draw upon the resolution to forgive and not hold a grudge. Determine to forgive no matter who or what tries to slap you down.
