Leviticus 4

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:

If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the Lord for a sin offering.

And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock’s head, and kill the bullock before the Lord.

And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock’s blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation:

And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the Lord, before the vail of the sanctuary.

And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the Lord, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation; and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

And he shall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away,

10 As it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.

11 And the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,

12 Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.

13 And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;

14 When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.

15 And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the Lord: and the bullock shall be killed before the Lord.

16 And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock’s blood to the tabernacle of the congregation:

17 And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the Lord, even before the vail.

18 And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the Lord, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

19 And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar.

20 And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.

21 And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn him as he burned the first bullock: it is a sin offering for the congregation.

22 When a ruler hath sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;

23 Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:

24 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the Lord: it is a sin offering.

25 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering.

26 And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

27 And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lordconcerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;

28 Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

29 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.

30 And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.

31 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the Lord; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.

32 And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.

33 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering.

34 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar:

35 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the Lord: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

  1. 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:

When we stray from the righteous and holy path during our walk through life the lord is always merciful and is alway waiting for us to realize our sins and mistakes and for us to ask for his forgiveness and start a fresh because it’s like Paul said we must die Daily, not physically but spiritually. We must always recognize sin and always cast it out because it will always try to take our focus off of god and the kingdom and we must keep our focus on him.

  2. 27 And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lordconcerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;

If any one of the common people sin through ignorance, Leviticus 4:27. The prophet supposes that they were not so likely as the great men to know the way of the Lord, and the judgment of their God (Jeremiah 5:4), and yet, if they sin through ignorance, they must bring a sin-offering. Note, Even sins of ignorance need to be atoned for by sacrifice. To be able to plead, when we are charged with sin, that we did it ignorantly, and through the surprise of temptation, will not bring us off if we be not interested in that great plea, Christ hath died, and entitled to the benefit of that. We have all need to pray with David (and he was a ruler) to be cleansed from secret faults, the errors which we ourselves do not understand or are not aware of

From all these laws concerning the sin-offerings we may learn, 1. To hate sin, and to watch against it. That is certainly a very bad thing to make atonement for which so many innocent and useful creatures must be slain and mangled thus. 2. To value Christ, the great and true sin-offering, whose blood cleanses from all sin, which it was not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away. Now, if any man sin, Christ is the propitiation (1 John 2:1,2), not for Jews only, but for Gentiles. And perhaps there was some allusion to this law concerning sacrifices for sins of ignorance in that prayer of Christ’s, just when he was offering up himself a sacrifice, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.

We are living in a generation that playing ignorant to the fact is no longer an acceptable answer. The scripture states that in 2 Peter 2:21:

For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

Seek first the kingdom of God.

  3. 28 Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.
29 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.

Obedience is better than sacrifice but sacrifice is still requested. Even though Christ has Been sacrifice for sins so that we don’t have to sacrifice animals to make an atonement I still believe that God is calling us to make sacrifices of our own flesh in lieu of our sinful nature. God is calling us to everyday lay down part of our flesh to follow his Spirit. And the closer we get to our God the more God requires of us. We must continually be looking for every way to get closer to Christ so that our flesh becomes weaker and our sinful nature becomes less.

  4. It is evident that as we serve the Lord, different things are required depending on where God has placed us in his Kingdom. However, the most important thing no matter where we serve is to follow his commandments and obey his voice.

  5. In reading this chapter this morning, it made me think of the way we pray and say “God forgive me for even things that I don’t even realize that I have done (sinned) that went against your holy nature”. Sometimes we may let something slip or we do something ignorantly; but, once we realize what has taken place, we must repent. This is why we repent daily because there are things that sometimes we don’t realize that we have done. If you have to question some of your actions, look around to see if someone is looking or is around, then it probably isn’t a good or honest thing to be doing. Sin is sin. Thank God for the blood. JESUS today YOU will SAVE me.

  6. Leviticus 4:2 ESV

“Speak to the people of Israel, saying, If anyone sins unintentionally in any of the Lord’s commandments about things not to be done, and does any one of them,

    1 John 1:9 ESV

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

    Hebrews 9:7 ESV

But into the second only the high priest goes, and he but once a year, and not without taking blood, which he offers for himself and for the unintentional sins of the people.

    Acts 17:30 ESV
30 The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent,

    Hebrews 4:12 (ESV)
12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

    1 Peter 3:18 ESV
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,

    Unintentional

    happening by chance
    Synonyms of unintentional
accidental, casual, chance, fluky (also flukey), fortuitous, inadvertent, incidental, unintended, unplanned, unpremeditated, unwitting

What is an automatic response psychology?
Auto-Response Psychology is the study of these decisions: how we make them, how they affect daily life, what we can learn from them and how we can change them when we find they’re not working the way that we want them to work.

I had to take some time to figure out what an unintentional sin could be . Automatic responses. Someone pulls out in front of you the old nature would swear now we have become new in Christ yet there are some automatic responses that will still occur the new man ir woman in Christ is now made aware that this unintentional sin must be addressed ….daily we must cover our mind with the Word and with prayer . The helmet of salvation is just that a protective device that if used properly can help us not to sin unintentionally. Thank God once again by allowing the fruit of the Spirit to push out the works of the flesh . We must pray

    Philippians 2:5
    Berean Literal Bible
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus

And thankfully we can go before God asking for forgiveness through His blood we are cleansed.

Nothing but the Blood of Jesus !

  7. Speak to the people of Israel, saying, If anyone sins unintentionally in any of the Lord’s commandments about things not to be done, and does any one of them,

I have a fear of the unintrntional sin. There could be consequences whether i meant to do it or not.
Best way to be more informed is to read the bible daily and attend church regularly. I dont want to live in ignorance.
i pray that God will reveal to me, what need to learn thru His word.

  8. I wonder if they had a specific person that butcher the animals or if the priests had the ability to divide the animal correctly? It may sound a bit ignorant to you but I am serious, you may not understand if you have never butchered an animal but dividing the fat and the meat is not easy and to follow the specifics that the Lord has required is not easy either. Our God is perfect in every way. He gives all details of how things need to be. Jesus is our sacrificial Lamb. He died for all our sins and the specifics of salvation changed!!!!! We no longer sacrifice animals, because He país it all in full!! The instructions are different now and you find them in Acts 2:38 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Thank you Jesus !!!!

  9. It took dying of an animal and it’s blood to cover sin back then and it takes dying to self or repentance and the blood of Jesus today. I am thankful for the blood that Jesus shed once, for all. His was the ultimate sacrifice being much greater than the blood of bulls – it was the blood of a loving forgiving savior.

  10. Then he must remove all the sheep’s fat, just as he does with the fat of a sheep presented as a peace offering. He will burn the fat on the altar on top of the special gifts presented to the Lord . Through this process, the priest will purify the people from their sin, making them right with the Lord , and they will be forgiven.
    Leviticus 4:35 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/lev.4.35.NLT

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the procedures for the peace offering are so similar to the procedures of the sin offering. You cannot truly have peace unless you have that deep level of forgiveness that all of us so desperately need. When we can live our lives unrestricted and unhindered by guilt and pain of past actions we can live a life of liberty and peace. is so necessary to die to our flesh and go to God for forgiveness everyday but to also release those that have hurt us and forgive them as well.

  11. Sin can sometimes feel as though the Bible and our leaders are making a bid deal about nothing. We commit a “little” sin. The world did not stop spinning, the sky did not darken and a lighting bolt did not come from Heaven a zap us. Was it really so bad?

God considers the heart; He knows our thoughts and intentions. There is willful disobedience referred to as witchcraft and sins of omission or unintentional sin. Sin is sin, yes, but the intent of the heart is judged by God. We are still held accountable for our actions and atonement is required.

While a lightening bold may not have came from Heaven, sin is now in our life and God cannot tolerate people and things that are unclean. Burnt offerings solved the problem of God’s wrath, but it did not purify the sinner. The blood of the sin offering accomplished this cleansing.

  12. 27 And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lordconcerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
28 Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

Sometimes we’re just ignorant, unlearned, or unintentional and that’s okay in the moment. Thank God for the blood! He knows we’re not perfect and that’s what this chapter is for. Once we realize the mistake, we can repent. Or maybe it’s yet to be revealed: God forgive us for sins we don’t even realize we have done! We should desire to be fully covered, everyday by the blood of Jesus, continue to sanctify us Lord!

  13. God had specific instructions for them to follow. Just like he gave them instructions for ain, God has also given us instructions for sin. Too many people try to get around the word of God, but there are no other correct routes. We must be willing to follow the word God has given us and not try to find a loophole. God’s word stands sure and it always will.

  14. Leviticus 14-20
    14) When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.
    15) And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the LORD: and the bullock shall be killed before the LORD.
    16) And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock’s blood to the tabernacle of the congregation.
    17) And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, even before the vail.
    18) And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
    19) And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar.
    20) And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.

The scripture that came to mind when I read this chapter today was Hebrews 9:22, “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”
JESUS said in St. Matthew 26:28, “For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

So Thankful that JESUS shed His Blood for us for the remission of our sins.

  15. iLove the Kingdom
Leviticus 4:9 KJV  And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away

Over and over again we hear about the separating of the kidneys from the animal. The Kidneys are what cleans the blood stream. these organs are extremely important and in the Hebrew language are compared to the human mind. It is the mind of humans that determine whether or not we are going to sin. So, in the anatomy of this sacrifice, the separating of the kidneys refers to the cleansing of the human mind. We have to “cast down” imaginations and cleanse our thoughts before they enter into our hearts and defile us.

  16. And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish. And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering. And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar: And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the Lord : and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
    Leviticus 4:32‭-‬35 KJV
    https://bible.com/bible/1/lev.4.32-35.KJV

Only through the shedding of blood can sin be forgiven, Jesus was the lamb that took away all our sins with his sacrifice on the cross, now we are redeemed and set free, we are able to live a life of worship, and servant hood, but not bound up as a slave, but free to serve a gracious God, who loves us more than we can ever know. One scared hand to the other.

    First the Kingdom
    God is Good…God is Good

  17. Leviticus 4 : 3 [Amp] If it is the anointed priest who sins, this bringing guilt on the people, then let him offer for his sin which he had committed a young bull without blemish to the Lord as a sin offering.
[Hebrews13 :11 ] For the blood of animal is brought into the sanctuary for sin, the victims bodies are burn outside the limits of the camp.
Jesus you will save me , Thank you for the blood.

  18. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    REPENTANCE AND ATONEMENT

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:
3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the Lord for a sin offering.

Often transgressions by people from all walks of life are simply shrugged off under the umbrella of GRACE. It is important for us to understand that the process of atonement has not changed but the eternal sacrifice was provided in the man Christ JESUS.

JESUS primary message to man was repentance and his death did not change that seeing that JESUS was slain from the beginning.

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

The apostle Paul confirms this message in the epistles or letters to the church.

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

As we GROW in GOD through seeking FIRST The Kingdom of GOD we are committing ourselves to JESUS and separating from this world. Therefore we are led to repentance by the goodness or GRACE of GOD. Then we initiate the process of restoration through repentance and sacrifice to the LORD.

Lets choose to begin each day with REPENTANCE and walk with and in Christ JESUS.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap
    iGo
    iBlessYouInTheNameOfTheLordJESUS

  19. T4:33 and he shall lay his head upon the head of the sin offering and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they killed the burned offering.
    …..
I bet I’ll be struggling trying to do all this
    But now,:
    Be thankful
    Seek God
    Acknowledge your sin
    REPENT
    Go to your Altar
do t go back to it( sin)
    And keep goi g forward.

  20. 35 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the Lord: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

    It shall be Forgiven.

When we seek after His Kingdom, we will be seeking after forgiveness. Forgiveness from all wrong that we have done, things we have said, and attitudes that we have shown. To seek after His Kingdom means to seek after for Forgiveness.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God.

  21. 35 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the Lord: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

The sacrifice (repentance) is what took away the sin in every instance in this chapter. You can’t receive forgiveness without a turning away (true repentance) from the sin. To repent, and then return to that sin, is no longer a sin of ignorance but a willful sin and that changes the entire situation.

This is why a prayer of repentance everyday is important. If there is anything in my heart, mind, spirit and attitude that I have done unknowingly, I want the blood of Jesus Christ to cover that sin, and to find true repentance and forgiveness.

  22. Leviticus 4

continue today with the General Theme of the 2 offerings of unpleasant aroma.

chapters 4 and 5 explaining the aforementioned offerings, which were the sin offering and the guilt offering.

we had begun with the first of them, specifically, with the sin offering, which presented sin as a nature, and covers the entire chapter 4. To better place ourselves in the Theme, we will remember the outline that broke down the points of the sin offering

to. The sins of ignorance, vv. 1, 2.
    b. The sins of the priest, vv 3-12.
    C. The sins of the congregation, vv 13-21.
    d. The sins of the chief, vv 22-26.
and. The sins of the townspeople, vv 27-35.
    F. The law of the sin offering, chapter 6: 24-30

  23. “if the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, then he shall offer to the LORD a young bull without blemish as a sin offering for the sin he has committed. He shall bring the bull to the doorway of the Tent of Meeting before the LORD, and shall lay his hand on the bull’s head [transferring symbolically his guilt to the sacrifice] and kill the bull before the LORD.”
    ‭‭LEVITICUS‬ ‭4:3-4‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The priest and the people needed to offer a sin offering. It didn’t matter what the rank or status. No one was exempt from offering a sacrifice to the Lord. And with the sin offerings being offered in the middle of the camp it made it community thing. When you brought your offering it was hard to hide a bull or a goat. And no one was excluded from bringing an offering, from the high priest to the person from the community.

  24. 34 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar:

35 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the Lord: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

When giving a sin offering alot of times the blood of the animal was used. When we think of Jesus his blood washed away our sins. Coincident, i think NOT!

  25. They shall remove all the fat, just as the fat is removed from the lamb of the fellowship offering, and the priest shall burn it on the altar on top of the food offerings presented to the Lord. In this way the priest will make atonement for them for the sin they have committed, and they will be forgiven.

Our worship is so important! We have to realize that Jesus knows our hearts and sometimes will test our hearts. In our mind we have to realize that no matter the battle we have to lift Him up!! We have to worship Him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH!!! Never forget how important your worship is unto the Lord!!! He deserves our EVERYTHING!!

  26. 14 When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.
15 And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the Lord: and the bullock shall be killed before the Lord.
16 And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock’s blood to the tabernacle of the congregation:

At congregation would have to be forgiven together if needed!! Over a million people and He had to cover what was needed if the whole group or larger portion of the group had sinned!! That is a lot of people.

Throughout this chapter we hear of so many, and each of their instructions to sacrifice. We hear of the instructions of the priest’s sins, the congregation and large groups, of high leaders and rulers, and even down to common people. When Jesus gave himself as the Ultimate Sacrifice, he took away all of the need for this!! I am thankful for this passage, because it helps us appreciate what he did for us even more. I am most thankful for the blood of Jesus though, that washes away every sin and takes away all the pain.

  27. And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the Lord: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

I’m thankful for the blood of Jesus that covers my sins. I’m thankful that when I lay my faults upon the altar the fire from my altar burns out anything in me that is not like Him and burns it up.

  28. “If the entire Israelite community sins by violating one of the Lord ’s commands, but the people don’t realize it, they are still guilty.
    Leviticus 4:13 NLT

This is why I’m thankful for Lords sacrifice and His Blood that forgave my sins whether I knew it or not. Know all I have to do is repent and turn away from it.

  29. 6 And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the Lord, before the vail of the sanctuary.

seven times — A number much used in scripture, as a number of perfection; and here prescribed, either to shew that his sins needed more then ordinary purgation, and more exercise of his faith and repentance, both which graces he was obliged to join with that ceremonial rite.

  30. 20 And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.

Jesus is our High Priest and he shed his blood and paid the price for our sins. His blood is not to be taken for granted. He only needed to do the sacrifice once and laid down his own life and pour his blood for our salvation.

  31. A long way to forgiveness.

There were so many things to keep up with dealing with the Levitical law. I’ve heard it talked and debated about so many times as to the law being old testimate and Jesus fulfilling the law meant we didn’t have to abide by it anymore. The deal is the law hasn’t changed but Jesus just took out the way Sin is dealt with. Jesus Christ is the answer for all of it. I’m thankful that we have our answer and it is Him.

  32. It’s not righteous to sin unintentionally it’s not ok says the Lord. When Conviction sets in asking God for forgiveness will always take genuine sacrifice. God knows our intentions seek thy kingdom.

  33. “Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them: If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the Lord for a sin offering. And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock’s head, and kill the bullock before the Lord.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭4:2-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I have heard people speaking on the sin of ignorance. I heard people say that it’s ok because they didn’t know. In this case the Bible addresses that by says they need to pay for the sin. The offering is for their sin. This shows that no matter if you knew it was si. Or not, you pay for it.

  34. Carrying the burden of sin for someone (lost sheep)

    Leviticus 4:34 KJV
[34] And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar:

  35. 13“If the entire Israelite community sins by violating one of the LORD’s commands, but the people don’t realize it, they are still guilty. 14 When they become aware of their sin, the people must bring a young bull as an offering for their sin and present it before the Tabernacle.

We all commit sins daily and we don’t even realize, cause its our nature to sin. We are born into sin, now we must be repent of our sins. Its up to us to teach the unrighteous what sin is, and what the consequences are, and why they must repent of their sins.
