Leviticus 7

Likewise this is the law of the trespass offering: it is most holy.

In the place where they kill the burnt offering shall they kill the trespass offering: and the blood thereof shall he sprinkle round about upon the altar.

And he shall offer of it all the fat thereof; the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards,

And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul that is above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away:

And the priest shall burn them upon the altar for an offering made by fire unto the Lord: it is a trespass offering.

Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it shall be eaten in the holy place: it is most holy.

As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it.

And the priest that offereth any man’s burnt offering, even the priest shall have to himself the skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered.

And all the meat offering that is baken in the oven, and all that is dressed in the fryingpan, and in the pan, shall be the priest’s that offereth it.

10 And every meat offering, mingled with oil, and dry, shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as much as another.

11 And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the Lord.

12 If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour, fried.

13 Besides the cakes, he shall offer for his offering leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offerings.

14 And of it he shall offer one out of the whole oblation for an heave offering unto the Lord, and it shall be the priest’s that sprinkleth the blood of the peace offerings.

15 And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.

16 But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offereth his sacrifice: and on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten:

17 But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.

18 And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.

19 And the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall eat thereof.

20 But the soul that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that pertain unto the Lord, having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

21 Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the Lord, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

22 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

23 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat.

24 And the fat of the beast that dieth of itself, and the fat of that which is torn with beasts, may be used in any other use: but ye shall in no wise eat of it.

25 For whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.

26 Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings.

27 Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

28 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

29 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, He that offereth the sacrifice of his peace offerings unto the Lord shall bring his oblation unto the Lord of the sacrifice of his peace offerings.

30 His own hands shall bring the offerings of the Lord made by fire, the fat with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the Lord.

31 And the priest shall burn the fat upon the altar: but the breast shall be Aaron’s and his sons’.

32 And the right shoulder shall ye give unto the priest for an heave offering of the sacrifices of your peace offerings.

33 He among the sons of Aaron, that offereth the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part.

34 For the wave breast and the heave shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel from off the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a statute for ever from among the children of Israel.

35 This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of the offerings of the Lord made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the Lord in the priest’s office;

36 Which the Lord commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations.

37 This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings;

38 Which the Lord commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the Lord, in the wilderness of Sinai.

  1. 35 This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of the offerings of the Lord made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the Lord in the priest’s office;

36 Which the Lord commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations.

    37 This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings;

38 Which the Lord commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the Lord, in the wilderness of Sinai.

May the fire on my altar never burn out… Day and night…. Night and Day!

  2. 36 Which the Lord commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations.

    37 This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings;

38 Which the Lord commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the Lord, in the wilderness of Sinai.

This was the highest position that God commanded Moses to fill. The position of the priest and their responsibilities were to be followed or the offerings would not be accepted by God. I find that many of us today would rather take the title and leave the work of the position to someone else. We have to take the entirety of the position and do well to please
    god in all we do.

We are harboring a group of lazy Christians in this society. Generations before us had meetings in brush arbors and tents. They did a lot of praying all night. They would have church services that would go for hours and never complain. Services would be every night for weeks. This is something that many of us need to review to see why God moved among our services before. We have to be pumped and primed for us to receive a move of God instead of coming into the sanctuary ready to get what we can from God. We live in a want it right now right away generation.

We have a limited time left to harvest this great revival and we have to go and do what we can to win the lost. For we will be held accountable for every deed and every word. Seek first the kingdom.

  3. 36 Which the Lord commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations.

    37 This is the law of the , of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings;

38 Which the Lord commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the Lord, in the wilderness of Sinai.

    burnt offering
    meat offering
    Sin offering
    trespass offering
    consecrations
    sacrifice
    peace offerings

How do I apply it today ?

  4. Offering!!! We are on the 7th chapter and every chapter seems like it’s about an offering, either how it is prepared, by whom , who prepares it but most importantly to WHOM IT IS OFFERED TO!!! JESUS is and should be to his NAME ALONE!!!

  5. 36 Which the Lord commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations.

    37 This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings;

God loves his people so much that he gave them multiple chances, in my opinion, to repent. He gave detailed instructions on what they should do for the occasion. Our God is an awesome God.

  6. 35. This is their rightful share. The special gifts presented to the LORD have been reserved for Aaron and his descendants from the time they were set apart to serve the LORD as priests. NLT

God already has a provision plan in place before He calls anyone into service.

  7. Leviticus 7: 36 [Amp] The Lord commanded this to be given them of the Israelites on the day when they were anointed. It is their portion petuallly throughout their generations. Made the fire never burn out Day and Night , Night and Day . What a mighty God we serve, What a mighty God we serve.Angels bound before Him, Heaven and Earth adore him , What mighty God we serve.

  8. ““Meat that touches anything ceremonially unclean may not be eaten; it must be completely burned up. The rest of the meat may be eaten, but only by people who are ceremonially clean.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭7:19‬ ‭NLT‬‬
    https://www.bible.com/116/lev.7.19.nlt

The meat that was sacrificed could be eaten on day two but on the third day it must be burned up completely then we see the next verse…”meat that touches anything ceremonially unclean may not be eaten but completely burned up.”
Today I pray whatever we have to sacrifice unto God, that we give him a pure sacrifice from us. The start of our day is the best part because it’s a new day and we h e another opportunity to serve Jesus with our whole hearts. So whatever we sacrifice to him let it be pure and holy. So if it’s time, sacrifice that time with a smile on your face. If it’s money, sacrifice it with a smile and joy. If there’s any flesh that’s behind these sacrifices I pray the fire of the Holy Ghost to consume all that flesh and just get it completely out of the picture.

  9. These are the instructions for the burnt offering, the grain offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering, as well as the ordination offering and the peace offering.
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭7:37‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Set and established, there is order that God expects in His Kingdom. We will follow and obey Your Word Lord!

  10. 38 The Lord gave these instructions to Moses on Mount Sinai when he commanded the Israelites to present their offerings to the Lord in the wilderness of Sinai.

WOW!!! I’m so grateful that I can just repent unto the Lord and know that I am forgiven. If we could just obey, take up our own calling and be sensitive to Gods voice we could rise up like Moses did. Jesus is not going to call us into something to fail us. He is calling us so we can obey, do His will, strengthen us, and we going to have to FIGHT against the enemy to fulfill it. No ministry is easy but if your there because God called you to do it, I guarantee you that it shall come to pass. The Lord doesn’t makes mistakes and for that He will equip you with everything you need. It won’t be easy but you can be the best you can be for His Kingdom.

  11. And the priest shall burn them upon the altar for an offering made by fire unto the Lord: it is a trespass offering.

6 Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it shall be eaten in the holy place: it is most holy.

7 As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it.

8 And the priest that offereth any man’s burnt offering, even the priest shall have to himself the skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered.

  12. Leviticus Chapter 7 verses 4-8 are telling me is that the priests had an offering made by fire upon Jesus then every male that’s going to eat has to eat in the Holy place then the sin offerings had one law that was to make atonement then the priest shall have the burnt offering

  13. 16 But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offereth his sacrifice: and on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten:

    Vow or Voluntary Offerings
There will be times in our life that God will specifically speak to an individual to give voluntary. What a glorious sacrifice blessings to give without being asked to give. To make a vow to God because it is something we feel within our heart to do. Oh how beautiful . Just as we as parents appreciate it when our child does something without being asked hue much more gratitude does the Heavenly Father have.

Give give and give more . We cannot our given God.

  14. Verses 37-38 MSG “These are the instructions for the Whole-Burnt-Offering, the Grain-Offering, the Absolution-Offering, the Compensation-Offering, the Ordination-Offering, and the Peace-Offering which God gave Moses at Mount Sinai on the day he commanded the People of Israel to present their offerings to God in the wilderness of Sinai.” Same verses in the CEV “These are the ceremonies for sacrifices to please the Lord, to give him thanks, and to ask his blessing or his forgiveness, as well as the ceremonies for those sacrifices that demand a payment and for the sacrifices that are offered when priests are ordained. While Moses and the people of Israel were in the desert at Mount Sinai, the Lord commanded them to start offering these sacrifices.” I pray that whatever the Lord is asking of us our answer will be “Yes, Lord to Your will and Your way”. Be obedient, follow the directions of the Lord and He will provide what is needed.

1 Chronicles 28:20 AMP “Then David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and courageous, and take action; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor [a]abandon you [but will guide you in the construction] until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.”

  15. 21 Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the Lord, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

Does this still stand true today? I believe so. I realize this text is referring to parts of the animal that are not to be eaten but if we look deeper, I believe it can pertain to other parts of our lives. We no longer offer animal sacrifices to God. We offer our time, talent and treasure. If our treasure is our offering and we believe that all we have is a gift and privilege of God, we must protect our treasure from contacting things that are unclean.

I am not referring to money that is dropped on the ground. Rather, money spent on things that are unclean. The tithe belongs to God. It is our duty/privilege to return this money to Him. If we spend this money on anything it will be cursed. The Bible is very clear the first increase, whether that be fruit, vegetable, animal, human – belong to God. Again, it is our job to return these first’s to God; holy and clean. We cannot borrow the tithes to buy groceries and payback God later. It simply does not work that way.

  16. 1 Likewise this is the law of the trespass offering: it is most holy.
2 In the place where they kill the burnt offering shall they kill the trespass offering: and the blood thereof shall he sprinkle round about upon the altar.

I’m usually one that likes to appreciate everything that he has at various times the reading through this scripture makes me even more grateful. In the old testament, in order to make an atonement for sin, or push them forward, they had to follow very lengthy and specific instructions for the type of sin and each individual offering that was being made as sacrifice. Today’s society all we have to do is ask for forgiveness and plead the blood of Jesus over us because of the ultimate sacrifice that was made by Christ. I think as our generations move closer and closer to technology and conveniences we somehow also subconsciously forget about how difficult it used to be for our generations before us. Technology and inconveniences can be a good thing in their right place but they can become our downfall if we choose to become ungrateful for the paths that were laid before us.

  17. 37 This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings;

38 Which the Lord commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the Lord, in the wilderness of Sinai.

Jesus didn’t ask us to make these sacrifices without first fulfilling them Himself.

“And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.”
    ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.”
    ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭4:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Just as freely as He give Himself for our sake, we should give of ourselves for the sake of His Kingdom!

  18. Accountable for the fire on the alter.

[7] And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord : and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein. [12] And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

    Chapter 7
Every action has a reaction, reason and purpose
    With order-
    Leviticus 7:11 KJV
[11] And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the Lord .
[17] But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.
[30] His own hands shall bring the offerings of the Lord made by fire, the fat with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the Lord .
[32] And the right shoulder shall ye give unto the priest for an heave offering of the sacrifices of your peace offerings.

*John 19:30-30 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

  19. iLove the Kingdom
26 Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings. 27 Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

Way…Way back in the day when I was a teenager, I had a job working for the maintenance department of Odessa College. We would work on mowers, weedeaters, and general equipment. One day the boss said we were going to take a trip. So, we jumped into the company truck with the Odessa College logo on it and we took off. We went out into the country and to my surprise we picked up a goat from a feller. The boss took some weedeater string and tied it around that lil goats neck so it couldn’t jump out. So now this goat is in the back of the truck, ears flopping in the wind with weedeater string wrapped around its neck while we are driving. We finally get to the boss’s kinfolk house and we put the lil goat down on the ground and my boss’s kinfolk leads the lil feller to the back…We follow and go around back to a tree. This is where it happened. They just brutally grabbed that lil goat and hung him upside down with rope by his feet. Poor little goat was screaming…and I’m thinking “oh my goodness, this is the house of horrors, what are these people doing to that goat…I’m just on lunch break”. I don’t think I fully understood what was going on until I saw these brutal men grab the knife and cut that poor goats neck…I thought I might pass out. They even had a person out there with a pan catching all the blood flowing from the goats neck. Poor goat didn’t make it y’all, and I later found out that these folks were going to make gravy out of the goats blood that they caught with the pan. I was traumatized by this event seeing that innocent goat lose its life that day…it wasn’t even an old goat, it was a young goat who still had many years left in its life.

From the scriptures here we learn folks are not supposed to drink the blood of animals…or even making gravy out of animals blood. This is the reason many of Jesus followers got offended at him. John 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Joh 6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed…Joh 6:66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

So, in conclusion. This is the 21 century y’all. Leave the blood drinking alone and let the lil goats graze in the fields. There’s no need to kill these little fellers anymore for a sacrifice to God. We now have the blood of Jesus and we also have Walmart. Go in peace and buy frozen meat.

  20. 30 His own hands shall bring the offerings of the Lord made by fire, the fat with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the Lord.

The wave offering! To this day I still do it that way lifting it up to God and wavering it in Praise to our God!! No matter how small or big if you are giving it from your heart with honesty wave it!!!! You will never out give God!!! Thank you Jesus for being my provider

  21. Leviticus 7

7: 1-10 – This text contains the law of sacrifice for guilt and instructions to priests, giving details that do not appear in chapter Every detail is very important because it specifies the part of the sacrifice that belongs to God. Apart from the portion of God all the rest of the sacrifice for guilt belonged to the priests.

7: 8 – “the skin of the holocaust will be for him” . God provided both the skin of some animals and their flesh for the priests. In this way they had provision to make clothes, tents, etc.

7: 11-34 – The law of the peace sacrifice.

    A. The worshiper himself participated in this sacrifice, eating the part that corresponded to him.

    B. This sacrifice was offered in thanksgiving (ver. 12), upon fulfilling a vow (ver. 16) or voluntarily, presented as spontaneous worship (ver. 16).

7:12 – “thanksgiving” for regaining health, for a trip made without accident, for countless blessings from God.

7:13 – “leaven bread”. He says 2:12, “but they shall not go up on the altar in a pleasant smell,” but he could “rise” to Jehovah.

  22. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    GET RID OF IT

4 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul that is above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away:

Like this sacrifice unto GOD, not all things are good. GOD required of the sacrifice to be separated, the approved from the unapproved. This lesson is true also in our lives, while we add the principals and resources of The Kingdom of GOD to our lives we must also “TAKE AWAY” the principals and resources of this world and its systems.

I pray this illustration will cause us to seek the LORD more passionately to hear from HIM of what is approved. Then we are obedient to “TAKE AWAY” what HE determines unfit, unholy or unprofitable for Kingdom advancement.

There may be some habits or hobbies that are not conducive to Kingdom advancement that we need to TAKE AWAY from our lives.

Through Prayer and The WORD of GOD, JESUS will reveal to us what is necessary to advance in HIS Kingdom.

The apostle Paul says it like this:

2Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

Lets GO get ready for what JESUS wants to do this week. May JESUS speak to us on our FAST Day Tuesday.

  23. I’m thankful for our ultimate sacrifice – Jesus Christ.

Depending on what the purpose of the sacrifice, sin offering, thank offering, etc, every offering had a different ritual attached to it that was necessary to complete in proper manner in order for the sacrifice to be accepted.

With Jesus that veil has been rent, and we can go to Him everyday, immediately when something happens and seek our own forgiveness. We don’t have to wait for a year (thank God) but we can take care of right then and there.

This was only made possible by the blood that Jesus shed for us, giving us access to Him and His covering daily. It is through His blood that we have the power that Pastor spoke about last night. That power gives us the keys to His Kingdom, binding and losing, setting captives free, overcoming evil and temptation. It is all made possible through the sacrifice of His blood.

The blood that Jesus shed for me
    Way back on Calvary
The blood that gives me strength
    From day to day
It will never lose its power

It reaches to the highest mountain
It flows to the lowest valley
The blood that gives me strength
    From day to day
It will never lose its power

It soothes my doubts and calms my fears
And it dries all my tears
The blood that gives me strength
    From day to day
It will never lose its power

  24. 27 Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
    Deut 12
23Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh. 24Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water. 25Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD. 26Only thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the LORD shall choose: 27And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the LORD thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh.

  25. 21 If you touch anything that is unclean (whether it is human defilement or an unclean animal or any other unclean, detestable thing) and then eat meat from a peace offering presented to the Lord, you will be cut off from the community.” NLT

Reminds me of something Pastor said last night, “the moment we fall into temptation and sin, all anointing leaks out.”

When you go outside and you walk back inside, there is still outside residue on you, regardless if you are back inside. You will smell like outside, look like you’ve been outside (sweating or shivering), as well as your shoes will track outside where ever you go next.

The same with unclean/sin/darkness whatever label you want to give it. You cannot just encounter something unclean and walk away spotless without repentance and sacrifice. If you never cleanse yourself, you will smell unclean, act unclean, and lastly track unclean wherever you go.

“Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?” HCSB
    2 Corinthians 6:14

  26. Leviticus 7:37-38 (NLT)
    37) These are the instructions for the burnt offering, the grain offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering, as well as the ordination offering and the peace offering.
    38) The LORD gave these instructions to Moses on Mount Sinai when he commanded the Israelites to present their offerings to the LORD in the wilderness of Sinai.

    “Instructions”
Instructions mean: detailed information telling how something should be done; operated; assembled.
In this case, it was INSTRUCTIONS on what kind of offering to bring (bullock, ram, lamb, goat, turtle doves, pigeon, flour oil frankincense, wafers, cakes) for a specific offering.
These INSTRUCTIONS were given to Moses to pass on to the people of Israel, so that they would know to bring their offerings to God.

This still holds true today. God speaks to Pastor and gives INSTRUCTIONS to him, either through Prayer of Reading His Word, and then Pastor passed them on to us, so that we will know how to bring our offerings to God.

  27. LEVITICO 7.

  28. 21 Moreover the person who touches any unclean thing, such as human uncleanness, an unclean animal, or any abominable unclean thing, and who eats the flesh of the sacrifice of the peace offering that belongs to the Lord, that person shall be cut off from his people.’ ” NKJV

We cannot harbor anything unclean in our lives and expect God to bless us; we can’t serve two masters.

  29. “If you are ceremonially unclean and you eat meat from a peace offering that was presented to the Lord, you will be cut off from the community. If you touch anything that is unclean (whether it is human defilement or an unclean animal or any other unclean, detestable thing) and then eat meat from a peace offering presented to the Lord, you will be cut off from the community.””
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭7:20-21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  30. 25 for whosever eateth the fat of the beast,
Of which men offered and offering made by fire unto the Lord, even the soul that water hit shall be cut off from the people.
    ———

Whatever sacrifice is offer unto the Lord , let it be meaningful and with all reverence .

  31. 7 As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it.

Knowing that The Word is not repetitive just to hear itself repeat, there has to be a difference between sin and trespass.

How often do we read through The Word, and miss these details because our vernacular isn’t what it used to be? Or maybe we are just in a hurry, not giving time for Jesus to speak to us?

  32. 36 Which the Lord commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations.

    37 This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings;

38 Which the Lord commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the Lord, in the wilderness of Sinai.
God has everything set in stone, everytime I give up something in life that I thought I couldn’t turn my back on isn’t a sacrifice anymore. I keep going bigger and bigger so that I can keep growing in my walk with God. What is my offering, God? I pray today for you to keep guiding me, to the path you want me on. Thank you God!

  33. 21 Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the Lord, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

This chapter is a very detailed set of instruction on what to do. We’ve gone through a few chapters like this. God doesn’t leave out details for us to error. He desire for us to not partake or touch anything that he calls unclean. It is our responsibility to walk in the spirit and obey when he lays it on our heart to turn away.

  34. 35 This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of the offerings of the Lord made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the Lord in the priest’s office;

The Lord has a particular way he wants all offerings to be carried out. When we give offering to the Lord it gets distributed to different ministries. Here it goes before the Lord, Aaron and his sons. Aaron may have messed up earlier by making the golden calf for the children of Israel, but now he is being put to work. Now he’s in a position to serve those same people. God wants us to put that aside and make him first. These offerings are an exhibit of obedience and submission.

  35. 38 Which the Lord commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the Lord, in the wilderness of Sinai.

An offering is a command from the Lord. Just like the other things the word tells the people of God to do. We need to bring our offerings and not be cursed. As we are told in Malachi not to rob God in tithes and offerings.

  36. 36 Which the Lord commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations.

    37 This is the law of the , of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings;

There are so many offerings today that we can offer the Lord, not just money, but our time, our talents, our energy, our praise.
Lord, let me always have somthing to offer YOU!

  37. 32 And the right shoulder shall ye give unto the priest for an heave offering of the sacrifices of your peace offerings.

The right shoulder represents hard labor. When you carry scaffolding and lumber you take it up onto your right shoulder and balance it out. You can carry much more than you think if you do it properly. God is expecting us to give our right shoulder to the church. Our labor will be our sacrifice especially here before Western Day. Let us all work together and please the Lord.

  38. K

31 And the priest shall burn the fat upon the altar: but the breast shall be Aaron’s and his sons’.

The priest did not have an inheritance amongst the tribes. There part was all the tithing and offering

  39. The meat of the peace offering of thanksgiving must be eaten on the same day it is offered. None of it may be saved for the next morning.
    Leviticus 7:15 NLT

There should be a sacrifice of Thanksgiving every day. We must find the time to praise Him and be thankful on a daily basis.

  40. “This is their rightful share. The special gifts presented to the Lord have been reserved for Aaron and his descendants from the time they were set apart to serve the Lord as priests.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭7:35‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The work for the Kingdom doesn’t go unnoticed. There’s a reward for every effort and sacrifice for the Kingdom. Everything you sow you will reap. And that’s good or bad.

  41. ““Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. You must never eat fat, whether from cattle, sheep, or goats.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭7:23‬ ‭NLT‬‬
I wish I could become as detailed as this. Knowing how every small thing fits. And where it goes and how it functions. As leaders we must know how the whole systems work. Rather that’s the gospel or even organizing.

  42. 15 And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.
16 But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offereth his sacrifice: and on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten:

We have seen all of these different instructions for so many different ways of life. Groups, individuals, rulers, priests, common people, etc. yet in this passage it shows that whether it be a vow unto to God or voluntarily, out of our own will, that it must be fully eaten by the end of the day. Stressing that fasting and sacrifice should not just last for a morning or for a short time but done until the day is done.

17 But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.

One of my favorite passages, “the remainder of the flesh. . . shall be burnt with fire”. We fast to kill our flesh. We fast to kill our sin. We fast to put down the flesh in our life so that the spirit may reign. Here in this passage proving that point. “the remainder of the flesh. . . shall be burnt with fire”.

  43. 11“These are the instructions regarding the different kinds of peace offerings that may be presented to the LORD.

Daily, you should have peace within you, and make peace with others. Offer forgiveness to make peace. Put your pride aside and forgive one another.

  44. “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. When you present a peace offering to the Lord , bring part of it as a gift to the Lord . Present it to the Lord with your own hands as a special gift to the Lord . Bring the fat of the animal, together with the breast, and lift up the breast as a special offering to the Lord .
    Leviticus 7:29‭-‬30 NLT

Bring your offering as a gift to the Lord. Gratitude and servitude can change the way we approach situations and what our perspective is on life. God never does anything or asks of us anything for more than one reason. It’s not just to benefit Him.

  45. the Priests were given the skins. It’s what they used for creating different things like clothing. If they were relaxed in their standards, allowed for spots or stripes, then they could not fulfill their duty.

  46. “Anyone who touches something unclean—whether human uncleanness or an unclean animal or any unclean creature that moves along the ground —and then eats any of the meat of the fellowship offering belonging to the Lord must be cut off from their people.’ ””
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭7:21‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This totally makes sense because even to this day when someone begins to do things that are not pleasing to God they eventually become separated from the body of Christ. Ultimately, you lose connection with those around you because you know what you’re doing is wrong so eventually you separate yourself and find another group with common ground.
