Deuteronomy 3

Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.

And the Lord said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

So the Lord our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining.

And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many.

And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.

But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves.

And we took at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites the land that was on this side Jordan, from the river of Arnon unto mount Hermon;

(Which Hermon the Sidonians call Sirion; and the Amorites call it Shenir;)

10 All the cities of the plain, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, unto Salchah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

12 And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half mount Gilead, and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and to the Gadites.

13 And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, being the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of giants.

14 Jair the son of Manasseh took all the country of Argob unto the coasts of Geshuri and Maachathi; and called them after his own name, Bashanhavothjair, unto this day.

15 And I gave Gilead unto Machir.

16 And unto the Reubenites and unto the Gadites I gave from Gilead even unto the river Arnon half the valley, and the border even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;

17 The plain also, and Jordan, and the coast thereof, from Chinnereth even unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, under Ashdothpisgah eastward.

18 And I commanded you at that time, saying, The Lord your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all that are meet for the war.

19 But your wives, and your little ones, and your cattle, (for I know that ye have much cattle,) shall abide in your cities which I have given you;

20 Until the Lord have given rest unto your brethren, as well as unto you, and until they also possess the land which the Lord your God hath given them beyond Jordan: and then shall ye return every man unto his possession, which I have given you.

21 And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the Lord your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall the Lord do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.

22 Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord your God he shall fight for you.

23 And I besought the Lord at that time, saying,

24 O Lord God, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?

25 I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon.

26 But the Lord was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the Lord said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.

27 Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan.

28 But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.

29 So we abode in the valley over against Bethpeor.

  1. Verses 21-22 MSG “I commanded Joshua at that time, “You’ve seen with your own two eyes everything God, your God, has done to these two kings. God is going to do the same thing to all the kingdoms over there across the river where you’re headed. Don’t be afraid of them. God, your God—he’s fighting for you.” This reminded me of the song we sing:

God is fighting for us, pushing back the darkness
Lighting up the kingdom that cannot be shaken
In the name of Jesus, enemy’s defeated
And we will shout it out, shout it out

  2. 5 All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many.

6 And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.

7 But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves.

When you are in the will of God NOTHING SHALL BE AN OBSTACLE!!!’ Not walls, mountains, doors, nor giants will stop you. We need to learn to seek of God and if He says go, we need to go forward and not stop for He will remove any oppositions in our way!!! HE HAS GUVEN US THE VICTORY!!! So take DOMINION AND GO!! Possess it ALL!!!

  3. Deuteronomy 3:22 Ye shall not fear them : for the Lord your God he shall fight for you.

2 Corinthians 12:8,9 For this thing, I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore well I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Thank God for always fighting for me!

  4. 2 And the Lord said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.
3 So the Lord our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining.

The church as a whole needs to pray that what we have been given God is much more than what we think. When we are in the will of God there is so much territory and blessings he wants to give us. So many promises that he has set for us once we position ourselves to listen. Every time the Israelites where exactly where they needed to be, they beat every enemy and took every bit of land that God gave them. The only time they had issues was whenever they were focused on themselves and was not where God had placed them. The church needs to pray to be in one mind exactly where God wants us.

  5. 26But the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter. 27Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan. 28But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see. 29So we abode in the valley over against Bethpeor.

Even through it all, Moses was still denied the passing over Jordan to see the land that Israel inherited from the promise of God. But God being wroth with Moses for the sake of disobedience at smiting the rock rather that speaking to it, still allowed the leader of Israel through many battles and many steps of their journey, to go up into the mount and view it with his own eyes. Then he was to encourage Joshua to lead the people over.

This shows the greatest attribute of God and that is his mercy. Even though Moses disobeyed, he allowed him to view the promise. It doesn’t matter the circumstances in your life, we have to heed the voice and commandments of God. We have to allow God to order our steps and lead us where he wants to place us. No matter how hard we may think it will get, our God will bring us through. As we approach the throne of grace and mercy when we are in need, seeking him before doing anything else will give us the blessings of God. So that we can give Jesus to others that may be in our paths.

  6. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    THE PAIN OF DISOBEDIENCE

We glean much from this passage about OBEDIENCE. One act of disobedience produced this peril for the man of GOD. The Grace of GOD allowed him to see it, but, the disobedience of man prevented him from possessing it. Moses made one final plea with GOD for mercy, but to no avail.

Moses being the Leader, was not given special privileges to be DISOBEDIENT. Leadership is Leading and that includes judgement as well as blessings. Moses the Leader became weakened and frustrated by the continual negative dripping of complaints from the children of Israel. Leaders must possess a faithful and postive disposition and attitude in order to possess their promises.

We learn from Moses that we cannot possess without the people, so we must learn to Lead them there.

Lets GO possess our land POFW! Fort Worth has been the dream, vision and promise of many before us. Some have had great success, while others have kept the FAITH and course, without much to show for it. But GOD has chosen us to cross over and witness the Revival that JESUS has desired for our city. Lets GO prepare for 3000 to receive the Holy Ghost in ONE Day. In JESUS name. that is what the LORD said on February 23, 2002.

  7. Instead, commission Joshua and encourage and strengthen him, for he will lead the people across the Jordan. He will give them all the land you now see before you as their possession.’

I’m thankful for a pastor that will pour into us and lead us the way God directs him. He won’t just send anyone out to make the church or himself look good, he is obedient to what God has purposed for each individual and for the body of Christ as a whole.

  8. 2But the LORD told me, ‘Do not be afraid of him, for I have given you victory over Og and his entire army, and I will give you all his land. Treat him just as you treated King Sihon of the Amorites, who ruled in Heshbon.’

Don’t ever be afraid of anyone or any circumstance. God is with you, don’t be afraid.

Matthew 14:27But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!c”

    Matthew 14:27

  9. AMP – 23 “Then I pleaded with the Lord at that time [for His favor], saying, 24 ‘O Lord God, You have only begun to show Your servant Your greatness and Your mighty hand; for what god is there in heaven or on earth that can do such works and mighty acts (miracles) as Yours? 25 I pray, let me go over and see the good land that is beyond the Jordan, that good hill country [with Hermon] and Lebanon.’ 26 But the Lord was angry with me because of you [and your rebellion at Meribah], and would not listen to me; and the Lord said to me, ‘Enough! Speak to Me no longer about this matter. 27 Go up to the top of [Mount] Pisgah and raise your eyes toward the west and north and south and east, and see it with your eyes, for you shall not cross this Jordan. 28 But command Joshua and encourage and strengthen him, for he shall go across and lead this people, and he will give them the land which you see as an inheritance.’ 29 So we stayed in the Valley opposite Beth-peor.

The frustrations of the people in turn made Moses frustrated and so his actions cost him entering the promised land. He could only view it from atop the mountain.

We must die out to our flesh enough that the actions and reactions of others does not cause frustration within us and cost us promises from God. In the end, only what we have done for Jesus is gonna matter, because we will be judged and rewarded from those actions. We must not allow others to dictate our end, but rule our own spirit.

Proverbs 16:32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

  10. 21 And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the Lord your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall the Lord do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.
22 Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord your God he shall fight for you.
As Joshua has seen with his own eyes the greatness and victory of our Lord Jesus. We too can have it! Let us be obedient to His commands, so we can have possession of what God has for us. Let us share with others what the Lord has done for us, so they too can be part of the Kingdom. This land is for all, let us possess it. In the name of Jesus! He fights for us!

  11. 26. But the Lord was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the Lord said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.

    27. Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan.

    28. But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.

Just because you are not the one who will get to do a certain task in the Kingdom, that doesn’t mean you can’t help and encourage the one wha will get to do it.
David wasn’t allowed to build the temple, but instead of just sitting down and quitting the whole idea, he began stockpiling materials.
It’s not about us, it’s about the Kingdom.

  12. [22] Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord your God he shall fight for you.

[28] But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.

  13. 24 O Lord God, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?

There is no God like our God! He will accomplish his will despite those that stand against him.

  14. But the Lord was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the Lord said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.
    Deuteronomy 3:26 KJV
In obedience, we see the LORD giving us the VICTORY over the giants In our lives. Then we see that our rebellion can keep us from possessing the entire promise land that the LORD has given us. The LORD is a GOD of righteous judgment. We must accept all the consequences of every choice we make in life. With that being said, I am thankful for the blood of the lamb!!

  15. ““But the Lord was angry with me because of you, and he would not listen to me. ‘That’s enough!’ he declared. ‘Speak of it no more. But go up to Pisgah Peak, and look over the land in every direction. Take a good look, but you may not cross the Jordan River. Instead, commission Joshua and encourage and strengthen him, for he will lead the people across the Jordan. He will give them all the land you now see before you as their possession.’”

When God says no it means no.
I can remember several chapters back in numbers when God made this decision. He basically said you can take them as far as the Jordan but you can’t lead them in the promise land. So to see Moses ask to lead them in had me thinking about that time I read that. Gods a persistent God, God makes a decision and holds it if you beg him for a change it’s not gonna happen. So that tells me that this word that we read everyday is NOT going to change. Don’t expect change if you beg, don’t expect change ten years from now but instead buckle down and live by the word of God!

  16. 3:28 But get Joshua and encourage him and strengthen him , for he shall go over before this people and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shall see.

Deu 3:11 (King Og of Bashan was the last survivor of the giant Rephaites. His bed was made of iron and was more than thirteen feet long and six feet wide. It can still be seen in the Ammonite city of Rabbah.)
Deu 3:21 And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the LORD your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall the LORD do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.
Deu 3:22 Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God he shall fight for you.

The Children of Israel just took out giants. This dudes bed was 13 feet long and 6 feet wide. These are the folks that 40 years ago the spies were so scared of. These were the giants that made Israel look like grasshoppers. Israel took these giants out like nothing! Hey, as I was writing this I got understanding…David the shepherd boy would come on the scene several years from now. Goliath would be a descendant of these giants. David might not have ever faced a giant before, but he did have this biblical example of what God would do for his people. It serves the people of God well to read the Bible and stand on the Word.

  19. 3 So the LORD our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining.

11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubitsthe breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

No foe is too big for our God to handle!!!!!!

    Hallelujah!!

    Praise God!

  20. And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the Lord your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall the Lord do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest. Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord your God he shall fight for you.
    Deuteronomy 3:21‭-‬22 KJV

God takes the fight out of the battle. When you are at the place where you are supposed to and commanded by God, he will fight for you. He will take the fight out of the battle. You think think that what’s is in front of you is impossible to conquer to obtain what He said it’s yours but all you need to do is obey and act. He will pretty much do all the fight and allow you to have to victory and posses that which he said is yours.

  21. Deuteronomy 3:22, “Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God he shall fight for you.”

2 Chronicles 32:8 says, “… but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles….”

Thank You JESUS that you are here to help us and to fight our battles. Thank You JESUS that you are fighting for us.

    God is fighting for us
    God is on our side
    He has Overcome
    Yes, He has Overcome
    We will not be shaken
    We will not be moved

  22. Deuteronomy 3
2 And the Lord said to me, ‘Do not fear him, for I have delivered him and all his people and his land into your hand; you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon.’

The giants if life May feel as if they will overtake you but we must stand in the word of God . His promises .
As I’m driving this morning it hit me I had not read the word of God……it is unlike me to me too leave my home or do anything before scripture is read I was shocked at my own actions. I had to pull over off the road and stop to read. I had allowed some giants of life to cover my thoughts distract me detour me from God’s word that would set the course of the day. Though they are big obstacles the blood of Jesus has defeated them. His word declares do not be afraid . The enemy is defeated and victoriously we will win.

21 “And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, ‘Your eyes have seen all that the Lord your God has done to these two kings; so will the Lord do to all the kingdoms through which you pass. 22 You must not fear them, for the Lord your God Himself fights for you.’

I claim it in Jesus name!!!!!!

  23. All that work to get to this point and Moses couldn’t go into the promise land. God told Moses to prepare Joshua to go instead. When we think about the work of God we cannot be selfish about it because the work is not ours but the Lords. I may take part of the work and you take part of it and God divides it up as he wishes. We have to make sure that we understand it is not ours but Gods.

  24. ““So we took the land at that time from the hand of the two kings [Sihon and Og] of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, from the valley of the Arnon to Mount Hermon (the Sidonians call Hermon Sirion, and the Amorites call it Senir): all the cities of the plain and all Gilead and all Bashan, as far as Salecah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.” (For only Og king of Bashan was left of the remnant of the [giants known as the] Rephaim. Behold, his bed frame was a bed frame of iron; is it not in Rabbah of the Ammonites? It was nine cubits (12 ft.) long and four cubits (6 ft.) wide, using the cubit of a man [the forearm to the end of the middle finger].)”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭3:8-11‬ ‭AMP‬‬

It doesn’t matter the Giants that we face the Lord is still fighting for us and with us to destroy each and everyone of them. If God is for us who can be against us. God will bear His mighty arm of power and authority.

  25. And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

5 All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many.

No obstacle is to big or water to deep!
If God is for us, who can be against us!
Being obediend to God sometimes requires being Brave, Believeing you can do the impossible because with God it is All possible.

  26. 28 But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.

29 So we abode in the valley over against Bethpeor

WOW!But charge your brother and encourage him and strengthen him. For he shall go over but not you This speech will preach.

    A.L.M.A.S.

  27. Deuteronomy 3

Moses doles out different lands to different tribes, including the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Mannasseh. … Moses begs God to let him enter the Promised Land. The Lord angrily refuses his request, and Moses blames the people for the Lord’s stubbornness in the matter.

  28. 28 But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.

Joshua was obedient and faithful to God and was given the opportunity to lead God’s people. God will always find someone obedient and willing when others disobey (like Moses). If you can be faithful in the little and as a “nobody,” God will bless you with much and equip you to become “somebody” in His Kingdom for Him.

  29. God had told Moses earlier that he would not go to the promised land. You would think that at this time Moses would know better not to ask God to go to the promised land. He has seen what God does. He never goes back on his word. We should listen to God. If he says no to us, then we should listen and not question Him.

  30. Hebrews 3:6, NIV: “But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.”

I reflect back upon the chapter for today . Things that only God can do or change. The world is so dependent upon so many things accept the word of God . My strength may falter my emotions run rampant yet if I bring them into submission to the Almighty He brings peace. Everyone has giants to face unanswered questions. God has given me reminders this week the battle is His. He heard He knows He cares and He will defeat the enemy. Satan wants us to feel weak but scripture declares differently
    11 Corinthians 12:9
    New International Version
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

  31. 5 All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many.

6 And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.

When God says that it’s yours and you have to do is take possession of it, you will not just destroy but utterly destroy your enemy.

Many say that is God is a good God why would he kill so many people. God never does anything without a reason. The great majority of those slain were deprived morally bankrupt societies that committed horrendous acts.

These people sin in most cases had reached a Sodom Gomorrah level, that had reached low. So God used his people to wipe them from existence.

  32. 22 Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord your God he shall fight for you.
The battle is already won! Trust in the Lord with all your heart!

  33. ““At that time I gave Joshua this charge: ‘You have seen for yourself everything the Lord your God has done to these two kings. He will do the same to all the kingdoms on the west side of the Jordan. Do not be afraid of the nations there, for the Lord your God will fight for you.’”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭3:21-22‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Joshua had a huge job to do – to bring a whole nation into a land where they would not be welcome, and where they would have to fight to possess what God had rightfully given to them.

  34. 3 So the Lord our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining.

God will work on your behalf. Even when it seems like things are against you, God is still working on your behalf. That’s the kind of God we serve. One who is able bring us out of any situation and keep us from it

  35. 20 Until the Lord have given rest unto your brethren, as well as unto you, and until they also possess the land which the Lord your God hath given them beyond Jordan: and then shall ye return every man unto his possession, which I have given you.

21 And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the Lord your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall the Lord do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.

22 Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord your God he shall fight for you.

“it may look like I’m surrounded by I’m surrounded by You… This is how I fight my battles!”

What have we to fear or dread, when the Lord has already fought or battles!

  36. 2 And the Lord said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

3 So the Lord our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining.

4 And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

5 All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many.

Our enemy comes in many forms and with many defences. But God says right here fear them not for i will deliver them into your hands and let you take victory and then reap the spoils. So they were able to take down entire cities that were fenced in and walled up. They took down several of these towns. Why cant we take down these towers of addiction. These cities of lies. The walls of CORRUPTION💪👊. Why cant we tear them down and conquer our promise?😁

  37. 1Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.
6 And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.
7 But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves.

What a great encouragement for the king and his people came out to defend his territory. Yet God told him that regardless of who and what you see standing between what I’ve told you was your you fear not and allow Me to work. The man of God did as the Lord command and was able to defeat the king and reap spoil of cattle and land. Yet he wiped out all the people.

Let us take courage that whatever God has given into our hands is ours. We do not have to fear because the battle is the Lords yet the responsibility of obedience and courage is our. Saints of God stand and watch God work it out.

  38. 4 And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

When God gives us victory over the enemy it means that we don’t take pieces from the battlefield with us. When we hold on to those things we make ourselves enemies of Christ Jesus. God wants to destroy all the kingdoms that do not glorify His holy name. After all, what is not of God will eventually fall. We should hold on to Jesus and focus on what pleases him.

  39. Deuteronomy 3 The land east of the Jordan divided

22 You must not fear them, for the Lord your God Himself fights for you. Good Scripture and have a God bless evening.

  40. 21 And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the Lord your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall the Lord do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.
22 Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord your God he shall fight for you.

Moses was a great leader and even though he was unable to enter into the promised land he had to remember that Joshua would, this not only show us how human he was but it shows us how selfless Moses was as well. Despite knowing he would not enter the promised land he never stopped being a leader. He would do whatever it took to help Joshua and the people enter into the promised. A real man of God knows that his ministry is not centered on himself but on God and the people He has been commanded to lead.

  41. 22 Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord your God he shall fight for you
Our God is a great God and is worthy of praise. He is bigger than anything we face. We just need to keep our focus on him and pray
God our defender. God our freedom fights for us.
I’ll fight with lifted. My God is my defense. He holds it all.

  42. Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord your God he shall fight for you.
    Deuteronomy 3:22 KJV

While reading this chapter I thought of the song Surrounded by Michael W Smith. It may look like I’m surrounded, but I’m surrounded by You”. Our God always fights for us. I thank God for not giving us a spirit of fear and I pray we see His glory in everything!

  43. 2 And the Lord said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

“Fear him not: for I will deliver him,” . . . Fear not. Do not fear the oppositions you come up against because it is always in His control!! God takes care of our problems, so don’t ever fear them for they are His hands.

  44. “Do not be afraid of the nations there, for the Lord your God will fight for you.’”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭3:22‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    Couldn’t help but hear that Gforce song in my head as I read this verse;

    “God is with us now
    His love rains down
    His love reigns now
    Saved by grace and power
    His love rains down
    His love reigns now
    God is with us now”

Through every trial, blessing, and situation God is with us, as long as we allow Him to Reign!

  45. 24 O Lord God, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?

God does show us how great He is and how mighty His hands are. Who is greater than our God? Who can do better things, greater things, mightier things?? Who can see the difference in our God compared to other gods?

28 But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.

Encourage and strengthen our Pastor every chance we get. He will be there to help us inherit our riches. He will be there to see us through valleys and over mountains. He will be there to see us to our blessings. So, encourage him daily.

  46. Deuteronomy 5:2
And the Lord said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon King of the Amorites, which dwelt at Hesbon. 5:3 So the Lord our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him, until none was left to him remaining.
Follow God as the Lord commanded and reap the spoil of land and cattle and wipe out the people. God said fear not and I will deliver them into your hands. We must trust our Lord Jesus and not have any other God before Him. The Israelites followed God and had victory over their enemies.
