Psalm 96
1 O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.
2 Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
4 For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
7 Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
8 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
9 O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
10 Say among the heathen that the Lordreigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice
13 Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
In some situations people may argue that they do not believe in God because if there is a God why is there so munch bad in the world. Other than explaining freewill and the fall of man, we learn from this verse that we can recognize God for who He is and simply focus on giving glory where groly is due. Becoming saved by faith is believing the Word of God which glorifies His attributes, which shows us our fallen state and how He has redeemed us from His wrath.
Verses 1-6 MSG “Sing God a brand-new song! Earth and everyone in it, sing! Sing to God—worship God! Shout the news of his victory from sea to sea, Take the news of his glory to the lost, News of his wonders to one and all! For God is great, and worth a thousand Hallelujahs. His terrible beauty makes the gods look cheap; Pagan gods are mere tatters and rags. God made the heavens—Royal splendor radiates from him, A powerful beauty sets him apart.” How awesome is our God?? How can we not raise a Hallelujah??

5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
Consider the difference:
Standing outside among the grass and trees and looking up at the darkening sky, you can see the moon and stars, knowing there are distant planets and even more distant galaxies with their own stars and planets far beyond what our mind can comprehend…all of this made by the Lord God we worship.
Or, you could worship an idol you just carved from the limb of a tree and called it a god, trying to convince yourself it has powers, even though it couldn’t even create that tree you just carved it out of.
I know not all idols are carved from wood, but they might as well be for what they can do for you.
Ps 96:4 [ amp] For great is the Lord a greatly to be praised; He is to be reverently feared and worshiped all [ so- called] gods.
Deut. 6:5 [ amp] And you shall love the Lord your God with all your [ mind and heart and with your entire being and with all your might.
Rev. 14:7 [ amp] And he cried with a mighty voice.
Revere God and give Him glory ( honer of praise in worship), for the hour of His judgment has arrived. Fall down before Him; pay Him homage and adoration and worship Him Who created heaven and earth, the sea and the springs ( fountains) of water.
All over the Bible it said not to fear satan or man or the world.
I don’t fear this, But I do fear God.
Live Jesus , Give Jesus.

Each day , all day we should proclaim the good news of salvation to all nations. This world is lost with out God I see it every day.
Give testimony of what God has done! Proclaim His name. Sing 🎵 for God is good!

Today is the day the Lord hath made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!

Each day is an opportunity to give glory and praise to God. I truly believe in the Bible says to sing a new song there’s an implication of refreshing our mind each day and giving Glory for what he’s done oh, what he’s doing, and what he’s going to do. Like each day beginnings a fresh start with Christ the ability to let old things be passed away and to be grateful for another day in Christ.

God is great and greatly to be praised. God is so worthy of our praise. He is so worthy of our daily walk with him. He loves us so much, we should always be serving him and thanking him for saving us.

Sing unto the Lord a new song, sing unto the Lord all the earth. This is a great opening for this psalm because it lets everyone know of the goodness and mercy that lord and all that He has done for each of us. We find the more we lift him up, the more He blesses us in all that we need. If we the church do not lift our voices, the scripture states that the rocks will cry out in our place. It is our duty to tell every soul that we have the opportunity to meet or know how great Jesus Christ is and what He can do for each of them. We also have the great commandment of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is our destiny if we are born again and baptized in the blood of the lamb.
It’s time to lift our voices high and exalt the king of kings and the lord of lords.

We were created to worship the Lord! In this opportunity to daily worship Him we understand that in each season of our life He will give us a “new song” even when our “new song” was created hundreds of years before we would need it to us in that season it’s “new song” that’s needed. Even when the song is was not created by us personally it was created for us spiritually.
The following is A study at Oxford University on the effects Christian music Has on the emotional and mental state of adults.
“Results:
Findings suggest that the frequency of listening to religious music is associated with a decrease in death anxiety and increases in life satisfaction, self-esteem, and a sense of control across the 2 waves of data. In addition, the frequency of listening to gospel music (a specific type of religious music) is associated with a decrease in death anxiety and an increase in a sense of control. These associations are similar for blacks and whites, women and men, and low- and high-socioeconomic status individuals.”
The best thing is regardless of ones sexual orientation, culture, and economical status the results are “similar” meaning God is not bias when it comes to uplifting His people.

I believe Joy is a mindset that no matter what happens that joy cannot be taken away. Joy doesn’t mean ecstatic happiness. Joy is a stance you have in life that no matter what comes your way you are anchored in the Lord. You foundation is secure. You will not be moved. The Joy of the Lord.

What better way to share the Gospel through singing.
Think about it . Music has been around from generation to generation.
Sing sing sing worship .
God wants us to sing a new sing to proclaim to the world of His wonders .
What if we went everywhere with a song on our lips .
How awesome would it be if we chose a theme song and declared a certain day for all to sing it where ever we were that day . Just a thought .
I think about after 9/11 when a young woman at Christmas time began to sing in the middle of the
mall . It made a great impact upon a season of sorrow and it began to catch on all over the world .
I believe this is the time we too as Christians must make an impact somehow proclaiming God in the midst of such a fearful time. It’s time to sing a new song …. now I can hear Pastor saying write that new song ….. what the world needs now is God’s real love it’s the only thing this world truly needs to believe upon ……

Shout to the Lord all the earth! Celebrate His greatness. He is the only living God. The only one with power. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

This is why the “coexist” movement cannot “coexist”. The god allah that the Muslims serve is the moon god, the virgin mary is the ancient goddess Artemis. Interesting enough, Buddha comes from the ancient god named Vishnu. He is one of the most important gods in the Hindu pantheon and, along with Brahma and Shiva, is considered a member of the holy trinity (trimurti) of Hinduism.

According to the above mentioned scripture, the gods of the nations are idols. We cannot coexist and accept the idols of the nations, but we must convert others to the truth.

One of my very favorite verses to quote for those who believe once saved always saved. Salvation has to be worked daily!! We must show our salvation. Yes, we are saved by His Grace and Mercy not by works but our works shows our salvation. It is our fruit that shows who we really are. Psalms always reminds me to continue communication with God. Regardless of how we may feel or things throughout our day come to us. If we keep a steady line of openers with God then we get those little bits of strength in every moment. Throughout Psalms David and a few others dedicate this book to directly speaking to God. Over 30,000 words that were directed to encourage through peril, joy and questions. This communication shows God is ever present in every time of life. If such wise men knew who to speak to then we must take lead from this when we face unknown certainties and life. Take the scriptures as more than just words on a page but emotions that someone shared in relationship to God.

This is how God created it to be – that everything, in every way would be singing their song to the Lord, their song of worship, their song of praise.
The key, the earth, the animals, the trees, the birds, the fishes, everything!
Then He created His most precious possession, people. Yet He gave them the will to choose to praise Him. Everything else He created just does it automatically, they were not given a choice. But He thought I will give my people the choice, and how precious it will be to Me when they choose to worship on their own!!!
Yet reality is, not everyone makes the right choice, not everyone sings a new song to the Lord daily, not everyone chooses to serve the Lord with thanksgiving and gladness of heart.
If we don’t choose from our own free will, He will not make us. He said the rocks will cry out in our place, if we don’t. I don’t want to be replaced by a rock. I want to give God all my worship, all my praise from a willing heart. I choose to sing a new song to my God today!

Idolatry is rampant in the USA today. As a child in America I believed the USA to be a Christian Nation that only believed in JESUS as savior. We respected churches, our US Flag, our US Military and elders. We recited the pledge of aliegance to the US flag and prayed to JESUS at school daily.
What I saw in a news vide last night of the US Democratic Convention let me know that I as a Christian and the Church have much work to do. I saw a video of the 2 groups of the Democratic Party hold up the American Flag and when it came to the part that says “One Nation under GOD, indivisible” they both left out “under GOD”.
Friends, Brothers and Sisters in JESUS this is a dangerous trend and the Democratic Party is promoting it. Without GOD in America there is no way that we could be indivisible.
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
This opens the door for Christians and the Church. It begins with each of us. We must DECLARE HIS Glory among the heathen. Sing a new song, and lets show an idolatrous nation the glorious GOD that we know. JESUS is great and greatly to be praised.
I DECLARE HIS GLORY in America JESUS is LORD GOD and SAVIOR of the world. Sing a new song. If your heart is hurt, if your spirit is hurt, if you are confused, fearful or discouraged and none of the old songs are lifting your spirits, then SING a NEW SONG and pray in the Holy Ghost. We can make a difference, we must make a difference, we will make a difference.

We are called to a calling to fulfill the will of God and make known his glorious works among groups of people all around the whole world. (Acts 2:38-39NLT)“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” We must be willing and prepared to be vessels to be used by the Holy Spirit to tell everyone about the wonderful amazing news from the Holy Spirit.

As I read this, I remembered a conversation I had with a friend a while back. We talked about how when in a certain season of our life, we would have that one song that ministered to us, and how we would keep that one song on repeat. But as the seasons in our lives changed; so would the song.
In every season of our life, we can find something NEW to praise God for. So throughout our life we will find a NEW song to sing!

7O nations of the world, recognize the LORD;
recognize that the LORD is glorious and strong.
Most nations know who God is, Jesus. But they don’t accept Jesus, they don’t realize he is the one true God. Other nations worship idols and other gods. One day, they will realize who Jesus is, and were deceived by other gods.
“Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be feared above all gods. The gods of other nations are mere idols, but the Lord made the heavens! Honor and majesty surround him; strength and beauty fill his sanctuary.”

The Psalmist would not give God empty or unthinking praise. He first spoke regarding the simple greatness of God, and noted that His greatness made Him greatly to be praised.

We need to let everybody know that God is awesome and his mercy endureth forever, we all have a testimony in our life of what God has done for us, we need to let others know how wonderful he is. God has all power in heaven and earth. Thank you Jesus
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
This puts into perspective what we praise. We shouldn’t hoot and holler more at concerts or sport games more than when we praise God. All glory belongs to the Lord the maker of the heavens and the earth. He laid down His life for us that we may have eternal life.

What a great God we serve! He does all things well! All will see His glory! And all will worship and bow down to our Lord. In Jesus Name!

God is good all the time. He knows everything we need.

“Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:39
We have the true God Jesus Christ. We don’t bow down to idols or worship false images. Our Lord is just and righteous and loving. I never understood how people worship budda, an object made by man. Now is the time to bring as many people to our true God, Jesus Christ.

It’s a commandment that God gave unto His people .
Interestingly, it does not feel like a commandment; it feels like a privilege, and it is.
For HE promised never to forsake us.

Notice the little “g” on the word gods. All other gods are inferior to the God. If you’re serving a little “g”, the you’re serving the wrong God. Little “g” has no power. Little “g” cannot save.
If you need your life turned around, only God can do it. He can help you and fix your problem all at the same time. There is nothing to hard for our God to accomplish. So, if you’re still wondering, little “g” bad, big “G” good.

Every day we wake up, we have another opportunity in life. Another opportunity to sing s new song of praise. A new song of today. A today praise, a song that gives him honor. What is it? Just the sound of your voice giving God praise. Giving him glory and blessing his name. Just like a new day you have been given the chance to sing to Him again.

Today we see bumper stickers that say coexist and it has different symbols of different religions. This bumper sticker is saying that all religions should respect each other’s beliefs and should live in harmony. I’m sorry but my God is not a religion. These verses say that my God is great and worthy of all the praise and that He is to be feared above all gods. He made the heavens and all the gods of other nations are mere idols. I choose to honor, praise, and worship the one true God and His name is Jesus!!

We got to find something every day to praise the lord for. His mercy’s are new every morning that means we are blessed each day. Let us all find that new song in our hearts to praise him. He truly has been good to us

I grew up on this song, sang in Sunday School and over the platform.

Give God the glory he deserves and after singing a song like the one mentioned above, it shouldn’t be hard to declare his names. Sing unto to God a new song and give Him the glory he deserves.

Let us declare and Tell the people our testimony from day to day by our very lives.
Then when we are asked, give our testimonies with a smile and explain that Jesus is able to do the miracles for you. Would you like to have Jesus do some miracles in your life? We can Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
Let us be doers of the word and not hears only.

Don’t come before the King empty-handed! We should always have a praise or worship to offer unto the Lord as we invite Him in to do the miraculous in the atmosphere. I thank God He continues to move and answer when we worship. I pray we worship with honest hearts!
“Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it. Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy. Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness.”

I don’t know about you, but I’m not one to engage in conversation about the end times, it’s just not my forte and I’m a firmly believe we can connect dots all day long but at the end of the day the truth is, we will never truly know when He’s coming. Either way, I know that some people become fearful when talking about the end times or “the end of the world” because it’s a huge unknown and it can be a bit overwhelming. But the scripture I copied says we should rejoice just like he heavens and all of earth does. Judgment day isn’t necessarily something we should fear but something we should look forward to knowing we will finally get to be with God for eternity.
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
We serve a living God! All other gods are idols are powerless! 🎼They have eyes but cannot see, they have a mouth but cannot speak, they have ears but cannot hear, they have feet but cannot walk!🎼 Jesus has all the power!!! Praise and Glory to God! He reigns above all!
7 Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
8 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

There is so much we could glorify the Lord for. There’s countless things we could give thanks for. If you would just start lifting the Lord up and telling him what you’re thankful for people will see the joy the Lord brings you. What they see is the strength of the Holy Ghost through you. The joy of the Lord is my strength.

OUTREACH!!!!
Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth.
How will they hear unless we say? We must do outreach to reach those in the city that don’t know. For God is GREAT and he is righteous. We have to share the gospel!
