Psalm 99

The Lord reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.

The Lord is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.

Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.

The king’s strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them.

He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

Thou answeredst them, O Lord our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.

  1. 5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

In life we will face many trials and tribulations. Regardless of our circumstances, we need to remember that Lord should be worshipped because He is holy and the Lord of Lords.

  2. The king’s strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them.

7 He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

  3. 5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them.

It is our response to God as we worship him in the presence of his holiness. We have to come before the altar of God to present him with our sacrifices of worship and things that he will bless because we are obedient to his word. No matter how hard it is to place some things on the altar, if we do it willingly and full of sincerity he will honor it. Just like those of old in the word of God, we will see the glory and the power of his might.

It’s time the church became the place of power, presence and passion. We have to love the Lord Hod with all our heart, soul, and might. It is with everything within us to give unto God unconditionally without limitations. We have to be willing to go the extra mile to be a great example of who God is while we live his commandments and give away his word to others that need him to be saved.

  4. GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS!!! GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS OO LORD!!! GREAT ARE YOU OO LORD IN ALL THE 🌎!!! HALELUJAH!!! GRACIAS PADRE!!!

  5. Psalms 99:6, “Moses and Aaron among the priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.”

Haven’t we been told that we can insert our name in the scriptures? That’s what I’m going to do. “Moses and Aaron among the priests, and Samuel and Sarah among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.”
I’m so thankful that when I, Sarah, call upon the name of the LORD, He answers me.

vs. 9, “Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.”
I, Sarah, will Exalt the LORD our God and Worship Him for He is Holy!!

  6. Verse 3 CEV “Only you are God! And your power alone, so great and fearsome, is worthy of praise.” Psalm 145:3 CEV says “You are wonderful, Lord, and you deserve all praise, because you are much greater than anyone can understand.” In the AMP this Psalm is captioned “Praise to the Lord for His Fidelity to Israel.” We too should be loyal/faithful in our worship, in our praise and in all that we do as verse 5 AMP says “Exalt the Lord our God And worship at His footstool; Holy is He.” My God is holy, my God is faithful. Thank you Jesus!

  7. 6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them.
7 He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

We serve the same God that Moses served. When we fully understand the concept of the mightiness of God and how God worked through the patriarchs and how God has every desire to work through us through the same principles, we can lift his name and share the same testimony that we obeyed as they did and will rejoice with them some day

  8. O Lord our God, you answered them. You were a forgiving God to them, but you punished them when they went wrong.
    Psalms 99:8 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/psa.99.8.NLT

It’s the “dirty work” that I’m thankful for! The deep work God calls us to. Forgiveness, forgiveness of ourselves, healing, stitching of wounds. God You are so wonderful on so many levels❤️❤️

  9. 6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them.

    Acts 10:34
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

    Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Since God is no respecter of persons and He is the same today as He was then…He did it for Moses, Aaron and Samuel; He will do it for you and me.

  10. 5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them.
7 He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.
8 Thou answeredst them, O Lord our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

Worship the Lord with holiness for there is no other God like him. Worship him for his faithfulness worship him or his ever loving kindness. Worship him for he is a righteous God and he will take care If his people. He is a On time God

  11. In Jesus name, hallelujah!!!!
99:6 Moses and Aaron his priest
And Samuel among them call upon his name
They called upon the Lord, and he answered them.
    ——
    Good never sleeps never slumbers
    He answers, he does.
    I pray
I be in tune with him, in the same spirit
The sheep know the voice the Shepherd.
    Hallelujah!!!

  12. Ps. 99: 3 [ amp] Let them confess and praise Your great name , awesome and reverence inspiring! It is holy ! Holy is He!
Matt : 2: 23 [ amp] Behold, the virgin shall become pregnant and give birth to a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel which when translated means, God with us.
Rev.15:4 [ amp] Who shall not reverence and glorify Your name , O Lord [ giving You honer and praise in worship? For only are holy. All nations shall come and pay homage and adoration to You for Your just judgments [ Your righteous sentences and deeds) have been made known and displayed.
He is my God and I will Extol him and worship him.
    I love Jesus.

  13. iLove the Kingdom
Psa 99:4 The king’s strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

As I was reading this something crazy happened… I thought, “Wow…Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.” There is not a better King. No elected president would ever compare to Him. His judgements are perfect, who could ever argue that he was unfair. Who could ever argue that he was not right… And still yet the people rejected Him. The “right wing” Pharisees and the “left wing” Sadducee’s completely turned against the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Crazy…

  14. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    THE SIMPLICITY OF SERVING GOD

7 He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

This passage struck me as super simple to serve GOD.

    GOD Speaks
    I Hear
    I Obey
    I am Blessed

Just the thought of the simplicity of GOD speaking from a cloudy pillar, seems too simple to fail. But, how many people today would discount that as some global warming science venture?

We have an eternal book called the Bible and institutions that have studied it for centuries still do not keep HIS testimonies. Submission and obedience to the Word of GOD is simple to understand but requires discipline to fulfill.

The benefits of obedient serving are found in verse 8:

8 Thou answeredst them, O Lord our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

    GOD Answers Prayer
    GOD Forgives sin
    GOD Destroys their sin (idols)

Choose this day who you will serve.

  15. Thank you Jesus HE IS HOLY!!!!! Hallelujah HE REIGNS!!! He comes to judge equally!!! He is not an absent God. He talks to all of us. All we have to do is follow his commandments. As a teacher I compare this to when we assigned presentations, you knew who was the one who was done and confident because he wanted to always go first, but there were always those who procrastinated and you will see them at their fest putting the last touches as others did their presentation. I know weird, but that’s how I see the day of judgements those that serve God and has followed his commandments, and when they sinned they were quick to repent, they will be waiting anxiously their judgement, while there will be others hiding at the end trying to remember if they did everything correctly, did I forgave all of those who wronged me??? I can see them going down the list. Serving God is a JOY!!!! Not an obligation. Once we see it that way following his commandments is not such a chore. Once we fall madly in love with Jesus all we want is to please Him. One of the nurses told me that my eyes twinkled when I talk about Jesus, that’s because I Love Him so very much. JESUS IS MY FIRST LOVE!!!! IT IS ALL ABOUT HIM!!! I hope you don’t laugh at my explanation but is the truth once you see Jesus as your BRIDEGROOM YOU CANT HELP IT BUT TO WAIT ANXIOUSLY FOR HIS RETURN!

  16. Thank you Jesus Christ for today , he is the anchor of my soul , he is the king of my heart , he is my salvation and redemption . Only God can judge , only God can make them changes you desperately need hallelujah !!! He gives us power and authority , dominion

The Lord is king! Let the nations tremble! He sits on his throne between the cherubim. Let the whole earth quake! The Lord sits in majesty in Jerusalem, exalted above all the nations. Let them praise your great and awesome name. Your name is holy!
    Psalms 99:1‭-‬3

  17. 7  He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.
8 Thou answeredst them, O Lord our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

He leads and guides us, teaches us his ways and gives us the opportunity to repent when we have sinned against him. He is a just God and doesnt change-but allows us to change to be like him. We serve a great God full of mercy and grace.

  18. 8 Thou answeredst them, O Lord our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

Just because we mess up and ask for forgiveness doesn’t mean that we won’t still have consequences for are actions.

Jesus paid the price for our forgiveness, and it’s given freely when we ask.

  19. 7 He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

The Lord speaks in many different forms. A cold, a fire, a still small voice, an impression, His Word, through a donkey…., however God chooses to speak to us we must clear out all the noise and hear Him. His voice is what matters.

As long as we please Him, we don’t have to please anyone else.

  20. 5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

Exalted high above all the earth and high above anything I could face in life, He deserves our wholehearted worship!

  21. Psalm 99
Psalm 99:3 Let them praise your great and awesome name!
    Holy is he!
Psalm 99:5 Exalt the LORD our God; worship at his footstool!
    Holy is he!
Psalm 99:8 O LORD our God, you answered them; you were a forgiving God to them, but an avenger of their wrongdoings.
Psalm 99:9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy mountain; for the LORD our God is holy!

Let us rejoice in God for he is awesome and we declare He is God.
As we gaze we bow our Hearts, our heads, and our bodies as John did in Revelations. Even here on earth go to our knees and also on our faces before him. Tears streaming from ours eyes as we present Jesus our love, gratitude, and thanksgiving for his sacrifice on a cruel cross for my sins. For God is holy and high lifted up. He has corrected us and leads us in to righteous. supporting text is above and beneath.

Isaiah 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple.
Isaiah 52:13 Behold, my servant shall act wisely; he shall be high and lifted up, and shall be exalted.
Isa 57:15 For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit,
to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite. I praise His name.

  22. 5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy

We should always remember to make worship a priority in our lives because worshipping before the lord is the one thing that grabs the lord’s attention and wakes the lord, and by us worshipping lord it also brings the highest glory and honor to his name and that should always be a priority.

  23. “Moses and Aaron were among His priests, And Samuel was among those who called on His name; They called upon the LORD and He answered them.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭99:6‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Don’t think God doesn’t hear our prayers or answer them. His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts so how He answers our prayers has nothing to do with us. He may use ways we can’t imagine, He May give answers we didn’t want but He does answer when we call. I thank God for hearing our cries and our praise to Him. I pray we never stop praising Him or calling on His name Jesus!

  24. 7 He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

God spoke and they obeyed. That’s seems fairly simple.

But before they could obey, they had to clear out all other distractions and listen for His voice!

  25. 4 Mighty King, lover of justice, you have established fairness. You have acted with justice and righteousness throughout Israel. 5 Exalt the Lord our God! Bow low before his feet, for he is holy!
    Psalms 99:4-5 NLT

Our praises go up to you Lord, your never fail us, your King of kings, Lord over all. Thank you for filling us with peace and wisdom everyday, thank you for renewing each of us daily. You Lord are the one I go to in my darkest for your light even in the light your the one I go to. Let us show the world the light of the Lord, let us show them he is the way to victory no matter what, let’s show he saves. I worship you daily Lord.

  26. 9 Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.

The Lord our God is holy and there is none holier than he is. The one true God reigns supreme. No matter what comes against us, God is able to deflect it. Don’t let the enemy turn you away from the path of holiness. Hold on to the faith and stay strong.

  27. Psalm 99:3,5,9 Let them praise thy great and awesome name; for he is holy.
3.Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
9.Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.

We all have a calling and that is to WORSHIP Him because He is a great God, a forgiving God, a just God.

  28. “Exalt ye the Lord our God; and worship at his footstool; for he is holy” Psalm 99:5

Our Lord God is holy, and God deserves our constant love, praise, and worship. He listens to us and answers us in His time and way. He is our one true constant. Thank you dear God for this day.

  29. 1 The Lord reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.

We always here folks say they had a great move of God but that is not really true. God sits on the throne and reigns over all. He is always the same Hester today and forever so he didn’t really move. When we think we had a great move of God, it is actually us moving like we are suppose to. Let the earth be moved. God is always amazing and full of glory, we just move enough to meet him there sometimes.

    #letusmove

  30. 6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them.

7 He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

God answered them and they obeyed Him. Gods word shouldn’t return unto Him void of obedience and fruitfulness of the word that was spoken. It’s interesting to see the relationship these great men had with God. This should be a model of what we should desire and want for ourselves. He is a God that responds to faithful obedient believers.

  31. Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.

There is no God like our God and no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Jesus is the name and only in him is power

  32. 2 The Lord is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.

3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.

4 The king’s strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

God rules in Zion also rules all the nations of the earth; and his people, therefore, He is worthy of all the praise. His name is Jesus Christ.

  33. 5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them.

I like the little bits through out the Bible where it reads and points out other areas in the Bible to prove the points it is making at the time. Here just saying why would you not pray and just believe, because it
will happen! It happened for Moses, Aaron, and Samuel. So it should be the same for you!!

9 Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.

  34. 1 The Lord reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.

2 The Lord is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.

3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.

Seeing the consistency in lifting up the name of Jesus just keeps me headstrong to lift Him up even in my darkest hours. It’s like any moment David is left alone he’s growing in the Lord and strengthening the bond between the two. We’re left an awesome example to follow if we discredit to be after Gods own heart.

  35. 8 O LORD our God, you answered them. You were a forgiving God to them, but you punished them when they went wrong.

Yes is merciful, and forgives you. Just like any parent, if you do wrong you’ll be punished in some manner. Do your best at all times, for we all know right from wrong.

  36. “Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them. He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭99:6-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I thank God that we can boldly go to the throne room and speak with God. We no longer have to wait for someone to speak to Heidi, I can go to him myself.
