Psalm 113

Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.

Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore.

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.

The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high,

Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.

  1. 5 Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high,

Who is like the Lord that you can call his name in time of trouble and he’ll be there he’ll make everything great who is like the Lord when you call his name and you feel safe by the sound of his mighty name.

  3. 9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.

He produces something out of nothing! He provides! I thought about how far I’ve come when I read this verse. It truly is a testimony of how much he provides when we are barren. I came here with nothing but 4 children a back pack full clothes and vehicle. Hes brought me so far, I have all the essentials now and beyond. Praise the Lord! we wonder how we are going to provide when we have nothing but remember that we serve a God that can take a withered dried up tree and make it bloom flowers and bare fruit. Amen!

  4. El senor nos habla atravez de sus salmo y esto es lo siguiente: aun al pobre levantay la esteril y les da honrra sobre las naciones que honor llamarnos hijos de DIOS.

  5. 1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.

This Psalm proceeds with telling us about the greatness of the Lord. Even when things are not great in our life, we should give praise unto the Lord for His attributes.

  6. The Lord is great a d greatly to be praised. There is nothing like my God, he is magnificent and so holy. He deserves our highest praise.

  7. 9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.

Who is like the lord? There truly is none that can compare to having a relationship with Christ and what he can do and someone’s life. This verse says he can make the bare woman to be a joyful mother and children. I think that to mean more than just literally but he gives us blessing and brings fruit about in our lives and those things that we would have never been able to do on our own. Glory to be to God for the honor of serving him and what he does

  8. Ps. 113: 6-7 [ amp] Who humbles Himself to regard the heavens and the earth!
Ps. 138: 6 [ amp] For though the Lord is high , yet has He respect to the lowly [ bringing them into fellowship with Him]. But the proud and haughty He knows and recognize [ only] at a distance.
[ 7] The [ Lord] raises the poor out of the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap and the dung hill.
It’s a priviledge to be a servant and to be a child of God. My God saves and delievers.
    I love Him.

  9. 7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

    From Rags to Royalty
No matter what background you came from, once you are in the Family of God, you are a child of the King with all the benefits.

  10. 6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

The Good of heaven and earth humbled and sacrificed himself for us. How much more should we do the same for Him! He deserves it all!

  11. 7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

It doesn’t matter where you’re at, if you’re breathing then God is not done with you. God continues to increase, multiply, prune, cultivate us into the purposeful person we’re meant to be. We just have to SUBMIT to the PROCESS.

  12. 7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.

Praise the Lord for something today it shouldn’t take long to find something. Praise ye the Lord for another day, another day to worship him and share his goodness. Praise ye the Lord for provision and protection over my family and me. Be thankful today bless the Lord!

  13. 3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.

4 The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same the name of the Lord is to be praised. No matter what the day may bring us if we prepare our hearts and minds to be focus on Jesus, then nothing will deter us from our praise and worship. Even when it does not appear to be hopeful we have to lift up praise to God. The psalmist states it clearly that if everything that has breath praises the Lord, then we will be blessed. We may have to walk through the valley what seems to be by ourselves, but Jesus is there with us. We must not forget that we are not alone through this journey and that we have a friend that sticks closer than a brother.

I have always learned the principle to lead by example, if my family will see me worshipping through the chaos and problems, then hopefully they will be assured that the best is yet to come. No matter what comes against me I win. Because God has brought me out of the miry clay to set me upon the rock to stay.

  14. Psalms 113:1-2 & 5
    1) PRAISE ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
    2) Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.

    5) Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high.

These scriptures brought a song to my mind and heart today…
    “Forever I Will Praise You”
Who is like You, Lord in all the earth
Who can compare to Your great worth
Worthy of all praise, matchless in Your name
I’ll sing a song of Your great name

    Forever I will praise You
I will lift my hands and praise You
For there is nobody like You
No one else deserves the praise like You do

    (tag)
(No one else is like You Lord
    Who is like You Lord?)
Who is like you Lord in all the earth
No one can compare to Your great worth

Truly, there is no one like unto the LORD our God.
His Name is Great and Greatly to be PRAISED.
He is Worthy and Deserving of ALL our PRAISE.
JESUS today I will PRAISE You!!

  15. 3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.

Sometimes we forget to praise like this verse says !!! We can find all kinds of excuses but they really arent excuses, most of the time they are idols that we ourselves raise up because of whatever reason. No justification here ,plain and simple another idol. We may not see it like that in that moment but it is what it is!!! We want to grow …. GOD didn’t give an excuse, HE GAVE his LIFE……

  16. “Who can be compared with the Lord our God, who is enthroned on high? He stoops to look down on heaven and on earth. He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, even the princes of his own people! He gives the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother. Praise the Lord!”

There’s nothing God can’t do, he loves us even tho we make mistakes or we fall down sometimes but we get back up again he is there when we need him.

  17. 9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.

What a mighty God we serve!!! A barren woman is incapable of producing offsprings, but only our God can make her the keeper of her home and a joyful mother of children. We can compare the barren woman to the church, giving birth to spiritual children and filling His house with them. Hallelujah!!!! May POFW continue to deliver spiritual babies, may they be attended by joyful mothers ready and willing to teach them and watch over them as they grow stronger in the Lord. REVIVAL IS HERE!!! EXPAND YOUR TENTS AND MAKE READY TO WHAT IS TO COME!!! Thank you JESUS!! In Jesus Christ Name Amen 🙏🏻

  18. Psalms 113
5 Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high,

6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

    7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.

The promises of God being fulfilled.
Watch them unfold as we remain faithful.
    Hebrews 11:11
For days I’ve pondered this scripture . Why had God directed it to me? I’m surely not looking to have a baby. Until yesterday sitting sharing the word with someone they mentioned the number 11 11 . I told them what God had been giving me so we took a look at the scriptures. The whole message is not the giving of birth to a woman who was past the age of having children but it is in the last portion so the promise could be fulfilled. God has ways to fulfill His promises for His people. We don’t know how but He always keeps His promise .
Even as Mary pondered the birth of Jesus again our focus is upon the fact she was a virgin yet I believe we may fail to see the ultimate God’s promise was being fulfilled . What about the upper room we focus so much on the miraculous sometimes and miss the true meaning again God’s promise fulfilled. Oh the miracles are the wonderful manifestation that we get to see yet we must continue to see that it is truly God fulfilling His promises! He is a mighty God !

  19. 2 Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore.
3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.

People all over the world from east to west should be praising the name of the Lord at all times.

  20. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    EVERYDAY

3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.

JESUS is faithful to be LORD for and to us EVERYDAY. We should reciprocate the fruitfulness of EVERYDAY Praise to JESUS. Look for, search after, seek to find reason and cause everyday to Praise the LORD.

The Bible clearly states here that EVERYDAY the Lord’s name (JESUS) is to be praised. Praise the LORD for HIS Goodness, HIS Mercy, HIS Grace, HIS Peace, HIS Joy, HIS Hope, HIS Faith, HIS Blessings, HIS Promises, HIS Provision, HIS Mission, HIS Love, HIS Joy, HIS Faithfulness, HIS Presence, HIS Salvation, HIS Deliverance, HIS Spirit, HIS Blood, HIS Word, HIS Breath.

Psalms 113:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.

When we read this scripture, we might think, “Well, praise the Lord. I’ll sing a song to Him”…but, this verse is much more powerful than that. The word literally means the following:

H1984 A primitive root; to be clear (originally of sound, but usually of color); to shine; hence to make a show; to boast; and thus to be (clamorously) foolish; to rave; causatively to celebrate; also to stultify

When the psalmist speaks of praising the Lord, he is actually telling us to go all out and do Rollie Pollies in the floor and act “clamorously foolish”.

The definition of the word “praise” changes the whole context of the scripture completely.

  22. 5 Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high,
6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

Our God is touched with the feelings of our infirmities and he sees our need. He sees the desire of the hearts of his people. Our praise and worship draws him as he dwells in the praise of his people. As we continue to worship our Lord, he does touch our lives and miracles do happen. I bless the Lord for he is good!

  23. 113:3 from the riding of the Sun the going down of the same, the lords name is to be praise.
    ——
    Hallelujah 🙌🙌🙌
    🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
When I think of the lord has done
All the battles fought and victories won
Shout worthy, worthy to be praise.
God is worthy to be praise
Good is worthy to be praise
    In the morning
    In the noontime
    Even when the goes down
    He is worthy
    Worthy to be PRAISE.
    God is good.

    Everyone have a blessed day😀

  24. 113 [a]Praise the Lord! ([b]Hallelujah!)
Praise, O servants of the Lord,
Praise the name of the Lord.

It was said that this verse is part of the Hallel. A Reader would would be assigned to read part “a” and then the congregation would respond with part “b”

My desire is to have so much of the Word of God in me, that everything that is said, I could respond with Amen, Hallelujah, Yes Lord, letting the Lord know that I am in agreement with His word.

Response with the word of God is so important. It generates an atmosphere that promotes agreement and builds faith so that those who may not believe, are inspired, encouraged and come into agreement.

    Matthew 18:19
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

Being in agreement with the word as it goes forth, is uniting our faith, getting the attention of the Lord, and watching His Spirit respond.

  25. In this chapter it was talking about praise. God deserves all of our praise, and much more. God has given us life and our own blessings. I think we should all take a moment out of our day and praise him. There are tons out different ways to praise him. Some ways are with our voice, dance, worship. God deserves it all from us, so we want to make sure he is in our daily routine. PRAISE HIM POFW!!!

  26. Psalm 113:3
The rising of the sun to the going down of the same the Lords name is to be praised.

    Continual Praise !!
Help us to to be the one who praises you all day, everyday. I pray that God develops in all to appreciate goodness and a longing to worship you constantly thru good times and bad times, whatever goes on in our world.

  27. He gives the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother. Praise the LORD! (‭Psalms‬ ‭113‬:‭9‬ NLT)

God is never slack concerning His promises! Thankful for His faithfulness in completing His promises. He has made me a happy mother!!

“Sing, O childless woman, you who have never given birth! Break into loud and joyful song, O Jerusalem, you who have never been in labor. For the desolate woman now has more children than the woman who lives with her husband,” says the LORD. “Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense! For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭54‬:‭1-3‬ NLT)

  28. 3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.

This verse does not give conditions to when you should praise. It does not give you a certain season or reason. It simply says, “from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same” meaning every moment of every day!

  29. 4-9 “God is higher than anything and anyone, outshining everything you can see in the skies.”

In a world of technology ever evolving and continually trying to up the next company. Living to have the best device on the market. We are blessed to already live and give the absolute best available. JESUS. There is nothing better, nothing more helpful, nothing compared to giving someone Jesus! We don’t live trying to come up with the next best idea to deceive someone into purchasing a product, we are able to live as Jesus says in the word and allow His Light through us shine for others to receive.

  30. “Praise ye the Lord, Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord. Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. From the rising of the sun unto going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.” Psalm 113:1-3

Dear Lord, you are worthy to be praised, continuously. May my life be filled with worthiness because of you.

“Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!” Revelation 5:13

I love praising our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! When you love Him, you just want to praise Him! Thank you Jesus for this day.

  31. Psalms 113:1
Praise the lord! Yes, give praise, O servants of the lord. Praise the name of the lord!

There is nothing better than praising the Lord! Because praising Him is declaring that He can save you from any situation.

Begin and end your day with a time of praise, of worship, of contemplation of this magnificent God.

  32. Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore.

AMEN!!!! I will praise the Lord for what He has done for me. No one or anything can take my worship away. Jesus is the one who died for me and saved me for that I am grateful!!!

  33. “Blessed be the name of the LORD From this time forth and forever. From the rising of the sun to its setting The name of the LORD is to be praised [with awe-inspired reverence].”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭113:2-3‬ ‭AMP‬‬

He deserves all our praise! He is worthy to be praised. God inhabits the praises of his people. The more we praise to more strength we get. No matter what may be going on let us praise him.

  34. Psalm Chapter 113
    7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.

God includes all people no mater their economic status poor or wealthy. God makes the barren Joyful and to praise the Lord.

  35. Psalm 113

    7) He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap,

    8) to make them sit with princes, with the princes of his people.

  36. 9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.

If we could catch that we could be the joyful mothers of children, instead of being barren.
We have heard the preaching of being pregnant with blessings or ministries. So with that in mind, why would we want to be barren? I want to see souls saved, and lives changed, and without keeping my house, I won’t be able to see much of that, if any. I need to keep me on track, so I can effectively lead someone, and see them blossom reaching souls for Jesus.

  37. “Hallelujah! You who serve GOD, praise GOD! Just to speak his name is praise! Just to remember GOD is a blessing— now and tomorrow and always. From east to west, from dawn to dusk, keep lifting all your praises to GOD!”
    ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭113:1-3‬ ‭MSG‬‬

I am in awe of you my GOD!!! I don’t ever want to go without praising you in my life. The enemy cannot keep me silent. In time of sorrow…praise!!! It’s where I receive my strength, comfort, joy, and peace!!!

  38. “Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭113:2-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬
We have so much to praise him for. If you woke up this morning , you have something to praise him for.

  39. 6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

We must always remember to humble ourselves whenever we come before the king for we our servants unto the king and the lord looks for the ones who are willing to lay down their pride and egos to humble themselves and worship him with every ounce of their being, like the Bible tells us that if we humble ourselves god will hear our cries and he will heal our land and it’s up to us to fulfill what the Bible says.

  40. 2 Blessed be the name of the Lord now and forever.

7 He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump.
    Psalms 113:2 and 7 NLT

O Lord thank you for saving us when we were lost in this wicked world, thank you from bringing us up after all of our troubles we had put ourselves in. The Lord deserve every single praise in this world for everything he has done for us. Because the Lord has never stopped fighting for us and never gave up on us and he always brings us to victory. Every time we lift up the name of the Lord he’s proud of us, he gives us more and more of his strength and grows us more in his spirit. Let us spread the light joy and love of the Lord.

  41. 4 The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens

There is none above our God. He is the high exalted one. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Lord will lift up a standard. When we trust in God, he will show us what we must do to prevail. He is the God who is high above all nations. Stand on his word and you’ll stand strong in the troubled times.

  42. “From the rising of the sun to its going down The LORD’s name is to be praised.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭113:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

From the morning of the day praise God for He has given us a new day of life and to the end of the day praise, God for He has been marvelous and gracious to us. I will sing a new song daily to the Lord for He is worthy of all praise and honor. Blessed be the name of the Lord now and forever.

  43. 4 The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens

HE is in control of our nation , right now that we are going through a crazy time

  44. In this chapter it was talking about praise. God deserves all of our praise, and much more. God has given us life and our own blessings. I think we should all take a moment out of our day and praise him. There are tons out different ways to praise him.

  45. The gate to heaven

6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

Humility can be hard to learn or it can be easy. Either way it is the key that unlocks the gate to heaven. Without humility we can never understand the true posture of worship. To be humbly in the presence of God is the only way you will ever be in his presence. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess. Only the humble will make it. Only the humble can see the true riches of God.

  46. Psalm 113

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.

2 Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore.

There is no other Name under the heavens or the earth, but the Name of Jesus. That name is higher than any name. JESUS is king of Kings and Lord of Lord’s.

  47. “He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭113:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He opens the wombs of the barren. God is great. He causes people to be joyous where they are. He allows for people to heal and find their place. God is great!

  48. 3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.

Have you praised the Lord today? There are countless of reasons why we should praise him. The opportunities for praise are there. The scripture clearly tells us from the rising of the sun to it’s going down, the Lord’s name is to be praised. There is always something why to praise God. You are breathing, you had food, shelter, a job, you can see, you can hear… there is always a reason why to praise the Lord. There is a constant reason to praise continually. May the name of the Lord Jesus be praised.

  49. “He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭113:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

His ways are not our ways, His thoughts not our thoughts. As we live Jesus we find that how the world says we should act/live because of our life circumstances isn’t how God wants or sets us up to live. He is The Provider, our defense and our rock. He has made us living, breathing, walking, talking, moving miracles because we don’t look like what we’ve been through. I thank God for His mercy and grace. I pray we remember we are a chosen generation

  50. 1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.
2 Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore.

Praise the Lord; in everything we do, wherever we go, we should praise His name.

3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.

His name should be praised literally all of the time. From the time the sun rises until it goes back down.

5 Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high,
6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
    7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

Who is like the Lord absolutely no one!! We praise Him because he is so awesome and great! He is amazing and all-knowing! He takes care of the poor and the needy!! For all of this a more we praise Him!!

  51. 7He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump.

No matter what your status is in society, God will lift you up. To God, everyone is equal. Being poor is just a dollar amount, but you can be rich spiritually with God.

  52. Verses 4-5 ERV “The Lord is higher than all nations. His glory rises to the skies. There is no one like the Lord our God. He sits on his throne high in heaven.” There is no one like our God. His name be high and lifted up. It’s time to look up!
