2 Kings 8

Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the Lord hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.

And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years.

And it came to pass at the seven years’ end, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land.

And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, all the great things that Elisha hath done.

And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.

And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.

And Elisha came to Damascus; and Benhadad the king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, The man of God is come hither.

And the king said unto Hazael, Take a present in thine hand, and go, meet the man of God, and enquire of the Lord by him, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?

So Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels’ burden, and came and stood before him, and said, Thy son Benhadad king of Syria hath sent me to thee, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?

10 And Elisha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou mayest certainly recover: howbeit the Lord hath shewed me that he shall surely die.

11 And he settled his countenance stedfastly, until he was ashamed: and the man of God wept.

12 And Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of Israel: their strong holds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with the sword, and wilt dash their children, and rip up their women with child.

13 And Hazael said, But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The Lord hath shewed me that thou shalt be king over Syria.

14 So he departed from Elisha, and came to his master; who said to him, What said Elisha to thee? And he answered, He told me that thou shouldest surely recover.

15 And it came to pass on the morrow, that he took a thick cloth, and dipped it in water, and spread it on his face, so that he died: and Hazael reigned in his stead.

16 And in the fifth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel, Jehoshaphat being then king of Judah, Jehoram the son of Je hoshaphat king of Judah began to reign.

17 Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.

18 And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as did the house of Ahab: for the daughter of Ahab was his wife: and he did evil in the sight of the Lord.

19 Yet the Lord would not destroy Judah for David his servant’s sake, as he promised him to give him alway a light, and to his children.

20 In his days Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah, and made a king over themselves.

21 So Joram went over to Zair, and all the chariots with him: and he rose by night, and smote the Edomites which compassed him about, and the captains of the chariots: and the people fled into their tents.

22 Yet Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah unto this day. Then Libnah revolted at the same time.

23 And the rest of the acts of Joram, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

24 And Joram slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead.

25 In the twelfth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel did Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah begin to reign.

26 Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri king of Israel.

27 And he walked in the way of the house of Ahab, and did evil in the sight of the Lord, as did the house of Ahab: for he was the son in law of the house of Ahab.

28 And he went with Joram the son of Ahab to the war against Hazael king of Syria in Ramothgilead; and the Syrians wounded Joram.

29 And king Joram went back to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.

The woman arrives to Petition that her property be restore to her. And the king order both the property and the produce which had grown on it during the seven years of her absence to be restored to her, we serve a awesome God.

There may be so much chaos in our world. But there is a harvest that is ready to hear the good news of what the LORD JESUS is doing in our lives. So always be ready to testify, give your testimony in the midst of a famine. Just as the Eunuch in the book of acts needed someone to help him understand what he was reading, our region needs teachers to instruct them in the gospel, but it will all begin with your testimony!
Hallelujah!!! When the body works in unity for the KINGDOM OF GOD… ANYTHING can happen.

  3. . 4 The king was talking with Gehazi, servant to the Holy Man, saying, “Tell me some stories of the great things Elisha did.” 5 It so happened that as he was telling the king the story of the dead person brought back to life, the woman whose son was brought to life showed up asking for her home and farm. Gehazi said, “My master the king, this is the woman! And this is her son whom Elisha brought back to life!” 6 The king wanted to know all about it, and so she told him the story. The king assigned an officer to take care of her, saying, “Make sure she gets everything back that’s hers, plus all profits from the farm from the time she left until now.”

God. Ads sure this woman was positioned right where she needed to be. Her obedience to the man of God brought provision just at the moment she needed it. God knew her need and He seen her willingness to leave everything yet God restored to her everything.
God can do anything! When you seem to be at your lowest times just be assured God knows your heart and your needs .
She was positioned in the right place at the right time.

    I remain confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living.
    Wait for the Lord;
    be strong and take heart
    and wait for the Lord.

    —Psalm 27

  4. We see at the beginning of this chapter, what the act of obedience did as the woman who had obeyed Elisha by leaving when she was told now received not only what was hers fully back; but, even received all profits from her farm from the time she left until now. Deuteronomy 28:2 ERV says “If you will obey the Lord your God, all these blessings will come to you and be yours:”.

Verses 10-11 MSG “Elisha answered, “Go and tell him, ‘Don’t worry; you’ll live.’ The fact is, though—God showed me—that he’s doomed to die.” Elisha then stared hard at Hazael, reading his heart. Hazael felt exposed and dropped his eyes. Then the Holy Man wept.” What would one see if they read your heart?? We have to keep our heart right and aligned with God. Psalm 51:10 AMP “Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a right and steadfast spirit within me.”

  5. 7. And Elisha came to Damascus; and Ben-hadad the king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, The man of God is come hither.

    14. So he departed from Elisha, and came to his master; who said to him, What said Elisha to thee? And he answered, He told me that thou shouldest surely recover.

    15. And it came to pass on the morrow, that he took a thick cloth, and dipped it in water, and spread it on his face, so that he died: and Hazael reigned in his stead.

Ben-hadad didn’t die of the sickness; he died at the hand of the one he trusted the most.

This world and the temptations of it are hard enough to survive…let’s make sure we are helping one another and not hurting the ones that are dependent on us the most.

  6. “Is this true?” the king asked her. And she told him the story. So he directed one of his officials to see that everything she had lost was restored to her, including the value of any crops that had been harvested during her absence.
    2 Kings 8:6 NLT

God will always provide for His people. Keep your hope, faith, and trust in Him. He will go before you. He will be with you. He will never leave nor forsake you!

  7. 2 And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years.

3 And it came to pass at the seven years’ end, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land.

4 And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, all the great things that Elisha hath done.

5 And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.

6 And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.

God will reward obedience! We need to have faith without fear or questions like the woman in these verses!

  8. 1 Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the Lord hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.

While it is accurate to say that the rain falls on the just and the unjust and that being Christian doesn’t exempt us from having struggles and issues that doesn’t mean we have to suffer in the way that the rest of the world might. This scripture shows us that God will still preserve the individuals that place his kingdom first. I cannot recall any instance in my life where I made sure that the kingdom of God was placed first and I was lacking in the end. God has always and will always take care of his people. While trials come and tribulations happen that we are not exempt from, we are covered under the blood of Jesus and protected as such

  9. 5 And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land.

Restoration – a bringing back to a former position or condition

Jesus restores us to our former self, the men/women that He created in the first place in His purpose. This women was given a second chance with her son, but was asked to leave everything because of famine, but she returns, and ALL is restored. Everything and Anything!!! ALL OF IT!!! JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY FOR A MEN/ WOMEN CAN BE RESTORED. We will go through life looking for something to fill that gap, that emptiness, that which will make us feel complete, THE ONLY WAY IS JESUS!!!

  10. And it came to pass at seven years end
That the woman returned out at the land of the philistines
And she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land.

  11. What a great event from the Bible these passages are! God will honor your requests and more!! Living for God is the best life ever! As in our reading the woman got all her belongings back and more. Live Jesus Give Jesus 2. Ask ANY THING from God and he will deliver.

  12. “So the woman arose and did according to the saying of the man of God, and she went with her household and dwelt in the land of the Philistines seven years.

And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed a certain officer for her, saying, “Restore all that was hers, and all the proceeds of the field from the day that she left the land until now.””
    ‭‭II Kings‬ ‭8:2, 6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The woman was obedient to the word of God. And all was restored to her.

This passage brought to immediate memory 2 very recent messages that JESUS has given us at The POFW.

    1. DIVINE APPOINTMENT – Just so happens that when the king inquires of the miracles of the prophet, that the very woman and her proof walk by. Right PLACE Right TIME.

    2. ANYTHING – This testimony leaped in my spirit in confirmation that this is exactly what JESUS is preparing and doing even right now at The POFW. The woman had no idea what blessing this day was holding for her. She and her son were no doubt going about their daily tasks. When ANYTHING happens. The king asks her story, she shares her testimony and BOOM. ANY THING happened.

    MSG
6 The king wanted to know all about it, and so she told him the story. The king assigned an officer to take care of her, saying, “Make sure she gets everything back that’s hers, plus all profits from the farm from the time she left until now.”

ANYHING to her was EVERYTHING BACK.

I say today that somebody among us is about to receive an EVERYTHING BACK – ANYTHING. You lost it, you think and thought it was over and gone forever, but be careful to share your testimony. ANYTHING can HAPPEN.

1 Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the Lord hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.

This Shunammite woman is still being blessed many years after she blessed the man of God with her hospitality. She received a son, her son was raised back to life, she received instruction where to go during the famine, and now she receives her land back from the ungodly king of Israel.

You can never out give God because the gifts of God keep giving.

  15. 2 Kings 8:5 And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And he Gehazi said, My Lord, O King, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life. And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.

The Lord puts things together, the little things of our life for His glory and our good.

Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

    He will restore! Keep believing!

  16. 1 Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the Lord hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.

When you obey the word of God things will be restored.

The woman began to heed the voice of Elisha to go from her home because of the famine. She basically left everything for the sake of survival. With no hesitation she went. As the famine ended she came back to what was suppose to be hers. As Gehazi spoke to the king as to what Elisha had accomplished, the miracle showed up with the lady as she cried for her land and house. The king was moved by the fact the proof was before him and restored what was rightfully hers.

You see when we obey the word of God and the man of God, when we put first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness, you will be restored back to what you have as long as you are obedient. We can never go wrong with the voice that speaks authority over us and God has ordained that voice. We have allow God to guide us and order our steps. This will allow us to live Jesus to be examples to give Jesus to those that need saving. It’s revival time.

  17. 2 “So the woman did as the man of God instructed. She took her family and settled in the land of the Philistines for seven years.”

6 “Is this true?” the king asked her. And she told him the story. So he directed one of his officials to see that everything she had lost was restored to her, including the value of any crops that had been harvested during her absence.”

    Obedience = Blessing

“But Samuel replied, “What is more pleasing to the LORD: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.” 1 Samuel 15:22

  18. 2 And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years.

I have heard that seven is the number of completion in bibilical numerology. Sin has been inherited due to the fall of man, after we have competed are unity and had a restored relationshio with the Lord, we will have the first state before the fall, restored.

  19. 6 And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.

Her obedience not only protected her during the famine, but also gave her favor that what once was here was restored. Many time we hinder ourselves from not only the protection of God, but also from the provision of God because we will be obedient.

    Obedience is better than sacrifice!

  20. 19 Yet the Lord would not destroy Judah for David his servant’s sake, as he promised him to give him alway a light, and to his children.

He keeps his promises that he has given to us. And I believe backsliders are coming home – and although they may be living without him at this time, God has a plan, a promise and an expected end for them – their salvation! He did not give them the Holy Ghost to be lost. Thank you Jesus for a revival of those who have fallen away.

  21. 1 Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the Lord hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.

2 And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years.

6 And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.

When we obey the voice of God in our life, everything is restored.

  22. 6“Is this true?” the king asked her. And she told him the story. So he directed one of his officials to see that everything she had lost was restored to her, including the value of any crops that had been harvested during her absence.

I’m sure the king would have rejected of Elisha bringing a boy back to life. But the woman and son walked in, and testified about her son. The king believed, and blessed the woman. At times we may have to push a little bit more to convince others. Let’s be ready to go with authority and tell others about God.

  23. 2 Kings 8:1-2
[1]Elisha had told the woman whose son he had brought back to life, “Take your family and move to some other place, for the lord has called for a famine on Israel that will last for seven years.”
[2]So the woman did as the man of God instructed. She took her family and settled in the land of the Philistines for seven years.

When the man of God says something we should listen and obey

  24. 2 Kings Chapter 8

10 And Elisha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou mayest certainly recover: howbeit the Lord hath shewed me that he shall surely die.

11 And he settled his countenance stedfastly, until he was ashamed: and the man of God wept.

It is not easy to be a leader or to be a prophet, or a pastor because one must hear and see good things as well as wicked. Good and bad will be seen and heard and be responded to but the servant of the Lord will still react to both areas and still be faithful to God.

  25. This woman had it on her heart to take care of a man of God years before all of this took place. Because of that she received blessings throughout the rest of her life because of that one action. She made room for the man of God in her life and the life of her family. God honored that.

  26. 2 Kings 8:3 & 6
    3) And it came to pass at the seven years’ end, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land.

    6) And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was her’s, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.

I realize and I understand that this woman was not a backslider, but the thought came to me that this woman RETURNED out of the land of the Philistines (who were Israel’s enemy), and she went forth to CRY unto the KING. The KING RESTORED unto her ALL the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now. (7 Years).

We have had a prophecy at POFW of Surprise Harvest. Backsliders are coming home. It doesn’t matter how long they have been gone, 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, or 7 years. They are RETURNING from the world (land of the enemy) to come CRY unto the KING, JESUS. I believe KING JESUS will RESTORE to them ALL. Because our God can do ANYTHING!!

  27. 2 Kings 8:14-15 Voice
[14] Hazael went away from Elisha and went back to his king. Ben-hadad: What did Elisha tell you? Hazael: He said that it is certain that you will get well. [15] The next day, Hazael grabbed the cover off Ben-hadad’s bed, soaked it in water, and put it over the king’s face until he died. Hazael then inherited the throne and reigned over Aram.

Hazael took an evil inference from Elisha’s prophecy and seized the throne. He should have taken the prophet’s announcement as a warning to check his own heart; instead he acted on that evil – and was fully responsible for his own actions.

  28. Elisha had told the lady whom son was healed, that there would be 7 years of famine. She listened to the man of God, and left and when she came back she was blessed due her belief in God. God knows your heart, how you really feel. Trust in God and you can be blessed your whole life!

Thank you Jesus for this day.

  29. 6 And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.

God will restore to us all that has been taken from us! When we come into true repentance and become obedient to His word, all will be restored! Glory to God! God had restored life to this woman’s lifeless son, NOW He is restoring all the fruits and belongings back to her! God can restore you and me today! Let us trust in Him and watch what God can do.

  30. “Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the Lord hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.”
    ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭8:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Stay Kingdom-minded! We read a few chapters back that this woman prepared a room for the man of God and in return God blessed her with a son. Later on her son died but God restored his life. Now we see Elisha is warning her to leave while there was famine. I don’t believe after her son was brought back to life she stopped serving Elisha but that she continued opening her home to him. When we are Kingdom minded we receive the favor of the King. Always pray for our leaders and ask God how we can be a servant to Him and His people!

  31. 5 And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land.

    Psalms 138:3
In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

God wants to strengthen us and restore us back to where we were before when we cry out to him for help, just like the king did for this woman. God help us just to trust in you and not lean unto our own understanding but in all of our ways acknowledge you and you shall direct our paths today and everyday in Jesus name.

  32. v6
And when the king ask the woman, she told him. So the king appointed her a certain officer, saying Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.

There is power in obedience and submission. God can restore all that was ours.
Don’t try to understand it.Just flow with The Spirit move when God moves by faith
If we respond to those impulses that we feel in The Spirit …ANYTHING can happen!
    It can happen!!!

  33. 6 “Is this true?” the king asked her. And she told him the story. So he directed one of his officials to see that everything she had lost was restored to her, including the value of any crops that had been harvested during her absence.
    2 Kings 8:6 NLT

The Lord restored so many things in that woman’s life, first her son and now everything she had lost. If the Lord did it for her why don’t you think he can do it for you? During these times many have lost so much, and have lost there way. See as we stick with the Lord everything will fall back in place for he will never let you fall nor let the enemy win. You must have full faith and trust in the Lord, don’t ever give up stay fully obedient to the Lord, follow his word and his commands and God will do wonders, he will help you rise up even higher than you were. Trust and obey the Lord for he can do all and with his spirit and strength in you so can you.

  34. ““Is this true?” the king asked her. And she told him the story. So he directed one of his officials to see that everything she had lost was restored to her, including the value of any crops that had been harvested during her absence.”
    ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭8:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We must compell the Lost to the truth. The king was curious about the miracle that compelled him to seek the truth. As Christian we must compell people to come to church. Tell someone about your miracle it will drive them to seek the truth.

  35. 19 Yet the Lord would not destroy Judah for David his servant’s sake, as he promised him to give him alway a light, and to his children.

God will always keep His promises, and He will never leave you. This verse reminded me that He will always guide my path. It said that He would give light to Him and His children. I don’t know about you but I can’t see in the dark lol…..so me knowing this God will always be a light unto my feet. Know that God is always there is all I need! I pray tonight that we trust Him with a whole heart and have Him be the light unto our path!

  36. God’s people have power. When you have that type of connection with God, others will know about you and the things you’ve done. Our connection to God is not so we can be prideful, but it is for others to know what God is able to do. He can still heal the sick and raise the dead. The same power that delivered the children of Israel is the power that exist today that allows a deaf man to hear again. Truly there is no God like our God.

  37. The word of God

14 So he departed from Elisha, and came to his master; who said to him, What said Elisha to thee? And he answered, He told me that thou shouldest surely recover.

If he is The man of God, you can take his word as the word of God. If folk could have this attitude about what the man of God says, more would be healed, more would be delivered, more would be saved. There was no hesitation, and no doubt. What the man is God said, we are going to take it to the bank. What if we believed what the man of God said in our lives? What would happen if we just stopped trying to figure it out and believe it?

  38. 4 And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, all the great things that Elisha hath done.

The king was interested in learning all about what God had done through Elisha. Yet what sticks out to me most is that the king didn’t say tell me all the great things that God had done.

This tells me a few things:
    1. Who we are matters. God will use us and others will learn of it and seek out what’s been done. Yet it is our responsibility to point them back to Jesus.
    2. We must impart into others. Others are listening and following after us and we must be willing to allow them to walk beside us. They will not only learn from us but their testimony could answer the questions of a king and open the door for someone to receive a miracle.

  39. 12 And Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord?

You can fool some of the people some of the time… Although man can be deceived rather easily some times, Jesus can never be fooled. When the man of God listens as he should, to Jesus, dark gets uncovered.

  40. 18 And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as did the house of Ahab: for the daughter of Ahab was his wife: and he did evil in the sight of the Lord.

Let’s just throw this little nugget of important detail here. That’s how I saw it in my head. The Lord really wanted men to capture this. It matters whom you choose as a spouse. It matters where they come from in the blood line. And influence can be so powerful. No matter what authority you have; what influence are you allowing to steer your life?

  41. Faith faith precious faith. We have to be ready to walk in faith anytime they were told. I can’t just go whenever it’s time for us to receive. We have to go whenever it’s time for us to listen as well

  42. 11 And he settled his countenance stedfastly, until he was ashamed: and the man of God wept.
12 And Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of Israel: their strong holds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with the sword, and wilt dash their children, and rip up their women with child.

God knows our path and our actions before we do. Sometimes God will reveal our actions and reactions to us through the Man of God. . . We were once about to make a change in our life and the prophet told us that we would end up divorced if we went through with that decision at that time. We were also told that it just wasn’t the right time and that if we would just need wait on God’s time it would all work out. God will use the Man of God to reveal things to us. . . What decisions we make after that is completely up to us. Will we decide to act on our mistakes and/or wait? In Hazeal’s case he was okay with the evil acts. He decided instead to lie and then act out the vision; rather than making a change and turning the situation around. Will you choose destruction or a life of change??

  43. ““What’s the matter, my lord?” Hazael asked him. Elisha replied, “I know the terrible things you will do to the people of Israel. You will burn their fortified cities, kill their young men with the sword, dash their little children to the ground, and rip open their pregnant women!””
    ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭8:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬
The lord knows the intentions of your heart. We must build a wall against sin. To not let it persuade us in our walk with God any way.

  44. 4 And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, all the great things that Elisha hath done.

Right place at the right time.
Could you imagine sharing a testimony of miracle signs and wonders and then the very person that experienced the miracle walks in. Well i got a better one if you are filled with the holy ghost you are ONE that has experienced a miracle FIRST HAND. your testimony is just as impactful as the next. God wants to use each of us to draw more closer to him…We gotta tell these folks to come see a man.
